"Proper array. It was wrong. But my point, and I'll use your words. Please do. Thanks Jürgen Klopp, reasons to lose the plot. We don't know those reasons. For all we know, we don't know the exact reason why he lost all we know and as for his reasons why he as for as for his postgame comments, if you look, if you look at Jürgen Klopp, he could lose it. I don't disagree. So let's not give him he's not going to get right. Again, when I was talking about when the refugee association have all what we said yes, the audio. The audio. Yes. And tell me if I'm wrong. I got the impression you disagree with me over something. But my point was, well, clops insinuate and the referee said something, right? And if they have the audio, why don't you nail them to the wall? And put it out and see right, please, please inform us because if you're seeing a sin, everything the referee shared was fine and proper, then nail them to it. Yeah, exactly. So my mom, my point to that is from a management perspective, I don't think that's good practice. Now if you've been Klopp and said, well, the referee said, this point. Hold on. I've just seen from if you can club comes out and says he references this or the other, at that point, I think PG ML comes out and says, no, here's the audio. This is what he said. So I just took from a management perspective. The last thing. Because my point being is that it's a he said, Jesus. Right? He's seen one thing. This is another thing, but nobody

"To me when he gave me the yellow card is not okay. When we heard the referee association come out actually and all the audio is recorded from the referee and there was nothing untoward. That's what they said. Obviously, Mark crop is going to get into a lot of trouble for this as well. Yeah, I want to do a percent. And it was interesting to listen to the argument about trying to defend Jürgen Klopp or polishing plot. This is not the first time Jürgen Klopp has been involved with a match official. It will call early in the season where Gary beswick was the assistant and he ran to his fears and screamed in his face and he got punished. So this is the second time. And what's interesting is Jürgen Klopp made a comment after the after the match to journalists, stand up all ten he had said something. What he forgot now is that the match officials conversations are now recorded under the VR system and therefore the PGM well as they have the right, they listen to the audio after the match and immediately clear Paul tini. So for me, it was perfect that this didn't run on that Jürgen Klopp made a statement that Paul Tierney had said something out of turn. The PG one listened to the audio, there were 6 match officials plus an operator from Hawkeye who do the VR system would have heard what Paul Tierney said, including the broadcasters because they sometimes hear also what the referee is speaking and therefore there was nothing untoward. So whatever Jürgen Klopp has said or thinks he's heard, clearly wasn't heard and therefore I'm pleased that the page and well have clearly cleared this up and it helps the referee and certainly referees going forward that the conversations are recorded because if you recall in 2012 when I had a problem with Chelsea and I was accused of something we our audios weren't recorded and therefore leave some suspicion. This leaves no suspicion, clearly Paul Tierney didn't say what Jürgen Klopp thinks. They've missed a trick, didn't they? I mean, the fact that everyone is recorded is fantastic, right? But surely, surely this should put out what he said because of that scene he did nothing wrong. If they put out what he said and it's not been wrong and you're putting the pressure on Clark. Because he's trying to see something that's not true. Hold on. Well, you know, but they're in a position where they are the strong position. Because if they put out what he said, which they're seeing, the referees are absolutely not wrong, then it's going to put the pressure on clock because he's trying to see something that's not from if I'm in the PGM world. I have absolutely no problem because club didn't say that he said this. So they don't have to put out any audio or diction of the audio. And so I'm with the PG ML on this one. But again, club statement here kind of leans into why his reaction during the game during injury time and postgame is even more ridiculous. And here's a magic I absolutely like a lot. But when you're going to be seeing the referee look at me funny, that's kind of hard to accept. Goodness me. So to the point to the argument that we were just having, who knows if the fourth official just looked at Jürgen Klopp. I mean, it's just. But then that's good. I think you put the pressure on clot then. If you have not exactly what was said, then oh, you've got to do is produce it and see, right, come on then. I don't think I don't think this is collapse insinuated. Let's put an all the pressure on himself. The PGM well don't have to don't have to add to it. From the time you come out and say, this referee, I'm not sure on the balance of this game, where for all the decisions where they get a right or wrong, I thought benefited Liverpool. Mitt Romney is not far more reason to feel agreed than Jürgen Klopp. On this game, if you come out and say, man, I don't know about this referee. He just look at me funny. He will give us anything. On this game, then Jürgen Klopp is fighting a losing battle, all by himself. And would you like to shout at Stevie as well? Yeah, I don't agree with him on this at all. I mean, it's a passion play. And yeah, feelings around the high, but none of the other managers are doing that. Are they running up to the fourth official like that? And staring in his face and making gestures whatever it was he did. So I do think he's going to be for the high jump here. He's got previous as Mark Glenn Berg has said here. And you can not, you can say the referee got decisions wrong after going, what you can't do is question his integrity. And that's what he's done here by saying he thinks T and he's got an agenda against Liverpool. That doesn't stand up at all. He could have sent off Jota. He couldn't have given a penalty against kanata in the game. So I think he is going to be in line for some fairly stiff punishment. And what sort of band fits the crime in this case, you feel Ian? I don't know, mark could tell you that a little bit more, but it'll be some kind of touch line band, I would think. Mark, how many matches would you like to see him miss? Because he's got previous it'll certainly be a touchline ban because it clearly a monetary fine doesn't have any punishment to Jürgen Klopp. So the only way we can deal with it is that touchline ban. I think they'll give a one man one match touchline ban and offer them a further punishment if he continues doing this. So for me, one match should be enough. A fourth officials are help or a hindrance, Mark. I feel for the fourth officials, especially the way they're being treated at the moment. Let the boys see there are punching bags. So it's really difficult for the fourth official, all the fourth official could do is tell the referee what he's heard, what he said. But you're not just getting there from the manager, you're getting it from the coach and stuff. You're seeing it week in week out. We even heard the Brentford coach seeing it two weeks ago when the played Newcastle that because Newcastle, we feel it's okay to do it. So the club's feel it's okay to do it. It needs to be put. There was stop that the fourth official is allowed to do his job to support the referee on the field of play is helping the substitutions is also trying to explain things to the benches to try and calm situations down. But the coaches are so highly strong at the moment that just don't care and something needs to be done about it as well as players behavior court has been here needs to be looked at. Would you get rid of them Mark? Watch fourth officials. Yeah. You've got to have, you've got to have fourth official stand, you know. It's not all courtes. Some courtes look, when I was fourth official, you can have a chat with them. You could have a smile with them at the right time. They wanted to know what was being said on the earpieces. You wanted to transfer the messages across. You wanted to help, but at the moment, because there's so much pressure, there's so much emotion, it's just getting slightly over the top. We all love the Premier League, the excitement, the drama. This game was absolutely brilliant to watch. And we're now talking about the behavior report. And Jürgen Klopp regrets it, but the action was already done. Something needs to be done more with the clubs, the referees, the fear that this doesn't happen because like I said before, this transfers all the way down to grassroots and if they think that's acceptable, how do we feel that referees have ever gone a referee football matches? Mark, thank you very much and thank you so much that his camera didn't slip because before the show it did and nobody wants to see that.

"Get in his face. And that triggered this argument between Cragen Stevie yesterday. We all know that you shouldn't do that. I don't think there's antibody canton to see what he did was correct. When you're sitting on the sideline and you've got a fourth official and depending on the demeanor of the fourth official and the way he is, you're talking to him whole game. And if he's a little smartly punk, you know what that's like. If he's condescending, if he tries to be all the fishes, there are so many things that go on and how can a fourth profession be over a fish? Well, because I've never seen an official. I can't just get an official face. Well, I'm just telling you what happened. Jürgen Klopp. Can you check it out for the officials here? I am actually, because what does the force of official has no impact really in what happens on the field? So why do these four Americans so much? Because from managers, why? The manager should be buying the center this time for the harassment to give somebody who's not refereeing again. Mark, what did you make of Klopp's actions? I think Jürgen Klopp is a role model in this transfers all the way down to grassroots. If we think that this is acceptable behavior after the just scored a winning goal to make it four three into harass the fourth official like it is an accepted then we're completely wrong. We're now need to look at this because for me, Jürgen Klopp dismissed from the technical area and should be looking at a touchline ban or refine whatever the FAA decides that's not the referee's problem, that's up to the FE how to deal with it. But if we think that this is acceptable behavior, when we're now seeing it all the way down in grassroots, then for me, this is just clearly nonsense. We have to now act. And I wish the referee that sent them off to set an example that we can not accept court is, okay, we're going to accept the court, having a word with a fourth official may be getting upset, but he clearly ran from distance is clearly got a problem with Paul Tierney as we know. And therefore, his anger at the poor fourth official for me, this is not acceptable. Yes, Steve, you think of the children? No stages that I say was acceptable, by the way. It sounded like you're making an argument. What is the very first thing I said to you? I hate fourth officials. Yeah, yeah. The very first thing I said to you was we all know it's not acceptable. And then I answered your question by the way, because you asked me why you did it. And all I did was answer your question. But the reasons behind offensive don't start. You're quite defensive to me. Because I've been in the position where fourth officials are not exactly what they should be. I understand that he's a role model and can't do that. Well, listen, there's a lot of change when we lose a curl and we do things and then the handshake we call that was completely wrong. Which I'm pretty sure Klopp's gun is saying he was completely wrong, which I am telling you again is completely wrong. All I was explained to you was, you know, you've got to remember you sitting right and you're right in the middle of the game and there's all kinds of emotions going through you and you've got a fourth official who is trying because this is what they do. And again, I see it yesterday. Unfortunately, fourth officials have become punching bikes. Yeah. Because they've been put in a position where that's where they are. And the worst thing for the coach is when a referee makes a decision, which you know is wrong. And you always go and try and use the fourth official as the sound and board. And the guy, for some reason, will try and explain away how the referee got it right. Well, it's blatantly wrong. And not let these things build up done. Should copy band. Should it be? You should certainly be fined. Should he be banned? I guess he's certain touch lean ban would be in order because you can't do it. We all know you can't do it. You can't behave like that. Certainly when you're joking clock, you can't do it. So if he gets banned for a game, then I don't have any problem with it. I'm sure he won't have a problem with. But again, as I said, I'm just explaining. Sometimes get the better of you and that's what happens. I'm glad you changed your mind from yesterday. Yes, it should be banned. And listen, I understand it's emotional game, and emotions are running high, but I don't think I can not defend approaching an official in that way. Under any circumstance. Aside from which we just here given you can probably benefit that you know that the fourth official was trying to explain something away in a way. Stephen is. Well, I'm just seeing. Whatever. At this point, at this point. I've never said that. But you're playing something at home. Come to me. All I'm saying. Okay, my point is your defensive Jürgen Klopp and his actions with that sometimes force officials do this and try to explain decisions. We have absolutely no idea what the fourth official said. We have no idea he could have just been standing there all game long. We have no idea. So to offer some kind of an excuse that you can club, I don't think we're in a position to. Say this again. I'm not trying to make an excuse for your clock. How many times have I got you here? I'm explaining to you why you lost these cool. Me that excuse for your why did is wrong. And I said that. You are trying to make an I am trying to tell you why you lost these coup. That's not my fault. But we don't know. We don't know why he lost his school.

"Here. The honing and the shirt, Mark. I think for me, there is contact from both players. There is a push off, there may be a small hall. I think that happens everywhere on the field. I can understand why the referee's played on, but we don't accept what clubs we actually is because there may be things in that game. For example, we've just discussed a penalty kick that could have went against Liverpool and we're talking about a free kick outside the penalty area which could have gone either way. Yes, there is a probably a small shared poll. Yes, Salah pushes them off for me. This is just stay on the field and pay the referees clearly seen it. A small shirt boo. 6 of one half a dozen the other? What do you can't give in? Well, no, I was a question. No, what's arrangement doing? Delaney is absolutely written with it. The lane's been completely seized. He's got half a jail in his arms, Davis, so if there's any sort of foe, has to be for sale. Right. So the fact that Sal has fend off Davis because he's got half of his Jersey in his arms, which Elaine's been looking at because this is tough but the referee is quite a distance away. So you want the linesman. Should the lanes have been standing right and lame with that. He's got the perfect view. He's a man that should be making Nicole. Well, certainly influence in it. But no, referee gives a fall. I see this as in pretty much the same being as I saw the previous one. I look at it in real time. I didn't think foul, and I didn't think that wasn't a replacement. It's convinced me to change my mind. I think both at both of them are tossing. Davis does have a whole of osala. He's got a full hand. Okay. And his shot. My point is two players are tussling, Salah is also throwing elbows. You can make that argument. But again, I am looking at this in real time. I didn't think it was a fault. Ian? Well, it probably should have been a free kick, but it wasn't given as a free kick. There's a lot of things that happen after that. Liverpool have got to defend whatever happens next in the game. They don't do it effectively enough. And it's a goal. It's one of those things that happens. How far do you want to go back in an incident to keep moaning about something that should have been picked up? Yeah, it probably should have been a free kick, but it wasn't. And then Liverpool had to defend it properly. Klopp was frustrated as he fell to his knees when there wasn't a free kit given. And of course, when Diego Johnson scored his first born of call was the fourth official running down the

"Welcome to lettuce edition of ESPN FC I'm Dan Thomas joined by Shaka hislop and Stevie nicker will kick things off in the Premier League Leicester taking on Everton. What a match this turned out to be, you may be expecting a nervy cagey affair. It was anything but chances for both sides, but in the end it would finish Leicester two Everton to a point of peace, meaning, of course, both still very much in that relegation scrap Everton in 19th, less than up to 16th. From all on this, and that's welcome in Ian dark. Ian, what a match that it was almost basketball esque. Yeah, that was a spectacular game, really. I mean, as you said, Dan, often those games at the bottom are just dogfights, scraps, ugly, to look at, but this was just full of drama and incident. I mean, I think Leicester, how they're gathered regret that penalty by James Madison straight at Pickford that could have given the points you have a feeling they had to win that game tonight is a better point for Everton. I thought they were much improved Everton. Last week I covered them against Newcastle and you thought really all the hope is draining away the fans had kind of made their minds up as well that it was a lost cause, but they played tonight like a team with restored belief and they might have snatched it as well in the second half, you know, they still need the point so there are point behind the other three ride was there as you say Southampton and doomed their last game Everton is at home to Bournemouth and it could come to that, I reckon. Yeah, it's going to go right down to the wire. No doubt about that. That big miss penalty from Madison or saved. You could save Jordan Pickford. Had it written on his bottle. The potential penalty takers and Madison was stay still. Was that? Yeah. Well, would you have done any sort of research like that back in the day? I would have had my research assistant do that. It's difficult is it to stay still as a goal? It goes against all your instinct. As a keyboard. So I'm laughing at. Well, if you've got a bottle that tells you certain persons taking it, you stay still, then it's pretty easy, it stays still. And instinctively, surely you still doubt yourself. I mean, listen, I get it. I do your research and how many has managed to hit all this panties down in the middle. I mean, I find that I find that players who go down the middle is usually because they keep a move early. Right. So to pick for its credit, he starts to his right and then holds his gun and that's fairly understanding who's coming. But to the point of the research, I think there's context to going down the middle that sometimes can be lost. They get it right. You have to say. Stevie did you enjoy the defensive show that we saw from both of these signs today? What defensively it was a bit of a shambles, let's be quite honest with you. It was fun. That makes it fun, didn't it? If you thought of a horse in the race, as you said, I mean, it was great. It was just end to end, both teams score, which if you like washing football, then it's funny watch. Yes. But from a coach inside of it. I mean, it's a bit of a shambles. And I think the goal sums up too many teams in my opinion. Today, nobody is thinking about what happens if it goes wrong. Because as soon as you're makes that pass, you should be able to figure out it's probably going to get cut out and the only person that is thinking that way is Jimmy valde. Right. He's already on his way as soon as he figures it out. He's already on his way. And the defenders are just standing, waiting for it, you know? And that's why he's that's why he's got so many goals and that's why he scored to this or yeah, from a defensive point of view, Berber shambles, but watch. Let's take a look then. How the bookies have things set after that result regarding who's going down no surprise. Sam Hampton, massive favorite 66 to one. You have to put $66 on to win one single dollar. That's how certain they are that saints will be in the championship next season. It then gets a lot closer, doesn't it? Leicester

By buying to go through adventure, the Stevie going for a one one draw, everyone else going for a barn victory. Joel, are you going? Are you wearing your full PSG kit? How are we going to be? I mean, peach side and that can't wear my food colors but I love the tisha underneath the jumper and everything. And I'd be watching like this because I'm too scared. I'm too scared that something bad is going to happen. Jules, how disastrous is it if something bad does happen with regards to PSG the season, the project, et cetera? I think what's fascinating is that like we said, February and March are key. You can basically lose everything. The 5 points clear in the league, but considering the pace that they're going in the league and how Marcia are doing well and Monaco are doing so well, they can soon be leveled with PhD, for example. And then you under pressure only. You already out of the cup, the domestic cup. If you get knocked out, let's say badly by Bayern, which is obviously very possible. By March you out of the Champions League as well. And then suddenly the crisis is there. I mean, the old was already not happy. There could be tension tomorrow with the fans within the stadium too. They turned up at the training ground, all that kind of stuff, which would get even bigger and heavier if they are knocked out. If they lose heavily tomorrow and even before the second leg in Munich on March the 8th, and then if they get knocked out over there, it's obviously even worse. So all of that can you just imagine if they lose too many lesser tomorrow, then they have to then they would have to go to Martin between. It could get so toxic that I think even for Gaussian for his pressure for Luis campos who clearly the players as we saw with the argument with Neymar and marquinhos have issues with all of that, it could turn out to be really nice to him. "Crisis. The problem is this is a crisis because they were playing okay before the world cups only having the results since the restart. They don't play well and they don't have the results. So for a team like that, it's obviously a big problem. It's a circus in here. It is a circus and, you know, sometimes you feel sorry for the manager, another times you just don't because he's put himself in there. And we thought he was going to go in with us sort of iron fist gold in, straight in a few of them out and just send him a lot more than us and has talked about them. The lack of any ideas and the tactics, but more importantly, you know, now when you're struggling and you've got some big games coming up and you've got that paranoia back within the dressing room about some of these leaking stuff and all that. When you want your dressing room to be strong, whatever goes on and then you try and keep it in there behind closed doors. And so now you've got all this worry about these scenarios on top of the football scenarios as well. So everything at the moment is pointing towards them hustling out of this Champions League. It's one of the worst things it's one of the worst things in any football club when there's a mall. Right. Have you experienced it? Yeah, it's horrible. It's horrible. Because everybody's well, then you're trying to find out who the audience is. And what's the motivation of them all? No idea. Is it just an attention thing, a power thing, no idea? Absolutely. But it's done. I will say that. Have you can find them. Yeah, I would say. No, no, I'm just saying that. I understand what Steve is saying because it's not that usual in English football because you don't have so much of the politics that you have on the continent. I obviously know Germany a bit more than France, but I would guess it's a lot of the same. You can have three or four moles. You can have someone who is producing for build sites and ones for spot build one for kicker, and you just know about that. And that is terrible when things start going on because that kind of ruined kind of the dressing and remember a year ago at Bayern Munich. They were always leaking things out of the dressing room. And that kind of crushed any team feeling. And you can understand that is using a lot of time. I'm not sure about the method for about his girlfriend, but somehow it is frustrating with things that comes out. And it can ruin any team. Right, let's talk about the game, shall we? Of course, Bayern Munich and the round of 16 Valentine's Day in Paris.

"Your teammate. That's tells you what date has up against. Let's focus in away from the bottom of the table back to the top and the title race, of course, which will be a huge game this week between city and arsenal. But I want to bring up a quote from our very own Jan aguero. First time he's been on since he tweeted this. Manchester United can win the league this season, the Germans got a quote. Victor, meaning the third in the race can control the two in front and jump ahead at the end. The winning culture, the discipline ten hagers installed is impressive. 14 to one Manchester United yam. Yeah, I should probably put some money on that. If you have a German way. Yeah, but have a look at the table. I mean, it's a draw on Wednesday. Manchester's united keep on winning, taking the points that they need to take ten hog has got that winning culture in them. Craig and I discuss this before Christmas, we said that we said we disagreed a bit on Manchester United chances. And yes, for example, the game in the case of palace wasn't good, but still they wanted. They go to leads. We said, if they can get this game into their hands, if they can take away this leads thing that they are fantastic, the first 50 minutes of every half. If Manchester United gets it into their shape, they have a rash fort. Maybe they get central back. Vehicles will do his stuff and so on and so on. So I say they are an outsider to win this league. And let's see now. What's going on? You're outside. We know they're outsiders, Jan. I mean, you're throwing German quotes on us.

"Hello, welcome to latest edition of ESPN FC, I'm Dan Thomas John by Craig Burley and Stevie nica will kick things off in the Premier League. One game on Monday, Liverpool taking on Everton, the mersey Derby at and if you're gonna be Liverpool, who would win the game by two goals, so now a brilliant counter attack would see most Salah open the scoring ten minutes before the break, then gakpo would get his first ever goal in the Liverpool shirt to seal the deal and give them the victory. What that means still a long way off Champions League football, they currently sit 9th in the table 9 points adrift of Newcastle in four. For more on this, let's talk about if you're talking, just wait a moment, though, because I want to start with Stevie. You happy? I was very comfortable after the second goal and getting the second goal saw Ellen in a second half. The game was done. I'm seeing that, but I must admit, when tarkovsky headed the ball, I thought it was going in the net because Alison was beaten. And then for the ball to fairly seconds later, being Evan's net, 13 seconds, 13. I mean, incredible. Yeah. You talk about changing the game completely. And from there, Everton really went. And again, and so yeah, it's a good victory. It's an important victory. But it is against a team that looks as though they're going to get relegated. So everyone in needs to come down. But it was better. Well, we started with a very low bar cricket. Well, I know, but somewhere, I suppose. I mean, you talk about keep possession of the ball. Obviously, a guy up front with little or no experience at this level. Just come back and back and back. And at least we saw more, you know, that second goal, both fullbacks involved. We saw a bit more energy from the full backs, getting forward and the passing and robots

Sloppy Liverpool tumble again in loss at Brentford
"Brentford continued to move up the Premier League table with a stunning three one victory over a very sloppy Liverpool squad. Ibrahima Konaté's own goal off a corner kick in the 19th minute, put the bees ahead to stay. Johann wiesa doubled the lead with a header just before halftime. Prompting Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp to bench Virgil Van Dyke for the second half. Brentford climbed from tenth to 7th in the league just two points behind number 6 Liverpool. "Some continuity, you have Salah who's still on board. You have Diaz and angio who've been as good as they have. Now with Nunes coming in. I just feel that for me no place a rule in the transition. That transition that every club with that kind of those kind of fixture players have to move on from it at some point. So while it may not be the truest words you can cop as ever spoken, I think this is just fantastic man management by club. In a way that goes way beyond for me and his own rule or lack of it over the next season. Would you agree with that, Ian? Yeah, I think clops are fantastic now manager. We've criticized him moaning about schedules, but he really does know and love his players. And I think they love him back as well. For me there's been a massively important player for Jürgen Klopp. Okay, he's not having the same impact and not getting as many minutes these days. And he's probably been the same story from this season. Now they've got Darwin new years and they've got Diaz's pushed himself somewhere near the front of the queue as well. There are a lot of choices there. But there are a lot of games for Liverpool as well. And for me now, with his craft and know how, can bring something different if it's proving to be one of those games where Liverpool are finding it just a tad difficult to break down the opposition. So in a home game at Anfield, I've seen that where he's come on and he's just offering that little bit of something different by way of Nelson craft. So he still has a role to play even though it's not as important a role as it once was. And Klopp's right. He says, he's the heart and soul of the club. And I think he really believes that. And I think the Liverpool fans believe it too. They love him. Okay, well, we will see Liverpool and man city back in action in the community shield coming off. That is the curtain raiser in the insert for the Premier League season.

"Or not, that's exactly what it is. In both shades, I do not expect both sides to play the start in the 11s. I think the players who will open the season for both sides will play some part in the game, but it won't be at the same time. So, sorry. If some of these looking for a battle in this chat is yield. Don't you think it might be a little chance to send out a message to the other side? I think it's a chance to center a message for a team that has more to prove. And I'll go way back to my time at Newcastle when we lost the title to Manchester United. United also won also on the epic cup, so the charity shield was Newcastle against, I guess, Manchester United. And remember Paul's games, Alex Ferguson saying that this was by far bigger game for Newcastle, give me the fact that we lost that gap at the top of the table coming into the new season. We wanted to put down a bit of a marker and the pressure at all. And then in the end, Manchester United won one quite easily. I think it would be for some of the sort. But in this instance, you have a two team who went down to the wire in the Premier League race. The team that just missed out also got to the Champions League Final, I'm not sure really that Liverpool are under the kind of pressure that Newcastle will what was it 20 5 years ago. So I don't see so while I accept that there are times that this game is important for at least one team. I don't think that's the case for either of these two this time around. So again, I don't understand why you can club is making the issue of it that he is. Let me give you the perfect example of why I'm telling you that the charity shield doesn't mean anything. We lost the league title to arsenal on the last day of the season. In 1989, the last day, the Knicks game we played was against arsenal in a charity shield. And I can assure you, we went out to try and knock them over to beat them up to get revenge because we had lost the league. There was none of that at all. So why would this be any different with city and Liverpool? For argument's sake, and I won't say one or the other. What if one of the sides won four nil, that's going to cause a stir? Absolutely not. As I said before, he's the ghetto for everybody. It's a pretty easy game. And we didn't play the false team. It doesn't count. You don't get anything from winning the charity shield. Nobody remembers who wins the charity shield, ever. So why did anybody think it's a big deal? It's not. It's only a big deal for the fans. Not the players, not the coaches, not the teams. What about the commentators out there? What are you looking forward to with this game Ian? I think it's always quite a nice spectacle. It's something to wet the appetite. Stevie's saying they won't play there. They're best teams. Probably not. But it'll be something like their best teams because let's face it, instead of moaning about this game, it's kind of like an ideal sharpener for the season to play another very good team in Liverpool's case. Manchester City, of course, who would like to use to be in a neck and neck title race for them. Again, this season. So I kind of think, you know, lots of not to like about it, really. It's a good way of just getting you back in the mood for the Premier League season that will follow a few days later. Let's see what Jurgen Klopp had to say about Roberto Firmino as we do head into the new Premier League season. He said Bobby is the heart and soul of this team. For me, there's no doubt about his quality. He's essential to us now, obviously when it comes to those famous front three, Stevie. We know that the other two have cemented their future. Hasn't happened with Roberto Firmino so far. How important will he be to Liverpool this season? Is he essential like Jürgen Klopp saying? If he was that essential, I'm not so sure they go and spend the money on Nunes. Or is much money. Well, he's not going straight in, is he? Well, unless Darwin knew has no idea and as of no, after being with Liverpool for what, three or four weeks, how they play, and then he

"Hello and welcome to the latest edition of ESPN FC and Kay Murray joined in the studio by Stevie nichol a little later on we'll be hearing from Ian darken getting his Premier League predictions for the new season, but let's look back on the old season to begin with Liverpool's that is because it was a lengthy campaign for Jürgen Klopp and the Premier League going right down to the way in the final day. They also made the Champions League Final. They were both domestic cup competitions, but cast your eyes along the bottom there. 63 days between the Champions League Final and the community shield, that's 9 weeks, which is apparently not enough time for Jürgen Klopp. I like the competition, but I think again here would be possible to find another date for it may be because we had a longer season than other teams in our way of a shorter pre seasonal team so it makes not too much sense. I think Germany places Super Cup island for that. The teams are involved, don't have to play one cup round. The Al opportunities, obviously, but maybe we can think about that. Or somebody can think about that. Let us know also welcome in Ian dark and chuck at his slot, but obviously I'm going to start with you, Stevie, what do you think about what klop said there? He's not the best complainer, is he? If you're going to complain of it's something. Make sure that you're a 100% spot on rate, but everything. And it carries somewhere. I mean, seriously, it wants to change the day. Well, during the season, it's complaining. There was too many games and wasn't enough down time, but it wants to do what is a preseason friendly in the middle of the season. And if it wasn't playing this game this weekend, it would be playing another preseason game somewhere else. So why do you need to change anything? It's a fundraiser that you're going to use. And he's only going to play half a team anyway. As he would, the other preseason game. So forget that. As far as his team played along the season and everybody else, and some teams had a shot, he seemed a little bit, well, what would this crazy thought? The champion's league was a week after the Premier League finish, right? So okay, you may hear you might have one more week to play. Than everybody else. But guess what? There was a million international World Cup qualifiers where every man in his dog was planned. So everybody's had the same amount of time. Everybody's played. And the very few, the very few that never played in the World Cup qualifiers ain't playing in the Premier League. Because everybody's an internationalist in the Premier League. So I'm sorry again. I love you. But if you're gonna complain, please get it right when you're complaining. Imagine if the World Cup had been in the summer as well. What did you make of what he said he? And I see you nodding along. I'm a bit fed up, frankly, and Jürgen Klopp, moaning about the schedule. One of his favorite ones is to moan about 1230 kick-offs on a Saturday after his team has played in midweek. But you know who sold the Premier League for a lot of money and I mean a lot of money and invented the idea of 1230 kick-offs on the Saturday. Well, it was the Premier League in which Liverpool are members. So if he's got a complaint about that, he should be going to his own chief executive and saying, we don't want these kick-offs. Let's opt out of this part of the deal. So there's that. And then now there's this. I mean, the community shield is always been the preseason churn raiser a week before the season. I just don't get the point of moaning about it. They've got the biggest and one of the best squads out there. They can rotate players and players and teams moaning and clubs learning about the schedule. You know, what's part of their preparation to drag their players halfway around the world with jet lag playing to boost the brand. So I'm afraid it falls on deaf ears for me. Arena and Stevie ray checker? Absolutely. If Steve is criticizing Jürgen Klopp, there's very little for you to take exception too. I think key to what you can Cobb said was that he likes the competition. And now maybe things have changed and nobody told me, but Sydney back when we were playing the community shield, charity she that was called back then, was just another preseason friendly against good opposition at a really good venue. But nobody really takes it seriously, nobody sees it as competition. As Stevie Reilly says, it's another game in a build up to the start of a season and should be approached as such. So to be complaining about the timing of it, I just don't get. Is an up and down preseason and worry for Jürgen Klopp. Is this contributed to him saying this? Do you think Stevie?

"There wasn't and I understand what Angela said about the second half. There were a couple of touches there from hazard, I thought, oh, there he is, but overall, over the 90 minutes, it was another bang average anonymous display from a man who let's not forget he's one of the most expensive signings in football history. Two or three years ago when he was playing for Chelsea when he was playing well for Belgium. He had that burst of pace. He could go past defenders at will. You know, either side, he could go past and he could play one twos around them. At the moment, he's not doing that. He didn't go past anybody with the ball. He passed it, okay? He passed it square he passed it into the front players, but he didn't actually make anything happen when he was running with the ball. In the second half he played as a second send a 40 a couple little one twos and a ball across the box, but overall he looked a player that was lacking that sharpness. He's also lacking a lot of confidence, and I can't see how he's going to improve at the moment because he's not going to get in the team as a number ten. And he certainly not going to play out on the right hand side and venezia's junior is playing brilliantly down the left hand side. It's a struggle for hazard at the moment. What's interesting is when you hear about people who have played with hazard Sid was telling us about Felipe Louis, and we've heard from others in fact, wasn't a particularly good trainer, was playing Super Mario just before kick off. But he had that natural gift. That natural talent could go on the pitch and do what he did, of course, as exceptional. Chelsea, is it just a simple fact that he doesn't have that anymore and therefore can't find those extra gears to get that back? Right. So at his best and robot was just talking about it in hazard was a nice elation player. A guy who was square you up, one V one situation, and he knew and everybody else knew that he was going to run past you. He was going to cut to the inside. He was going to cut to the outside. He could do whatever he wanted because he had dual in a one V one. He was unstoppable. Now, the new version of in hazard doesn't even look for a one V one situation. In fact, sort of runs away from it and tucks himself inside to look to combine to other people. Why? Why? Okay. And I was going to get there. No, no, I was just trying to have them together. I didn't need your head. Why? The reason is very simple. At this point, he doesn't trust himself to actually engage in one V one situation. Because he knows he can not run past people. He knows it. He feels it. He doesn't trust his body. The injuries and whatever else that now is playing games in his own head, and he recognizes, my goodness. What seemed to be easy in the past and what was natural to me in the past, now I have to work for it and I don't have it. The foundation that you need as a player as a professional to be fit enough to withstand whatever comes in a whole long season, he never did have that with that Madrid initially. He came out of shape, and he's been playing catch up since then. And it's been a long time and you think, well, by now, surely, we have but surely he now has this cars, not only of the injuries, but the mental scars of having been a failure. And he knows he's been a failure. We don't have to remind him of that. He knows he's been a failure. And those cars stay with you. He's done. Oh, yeah. At that level? Yes, sir. Yes, he is. Wow. "Always flying into the tackle. He's going with his studs showing. It's almost above the ball as well. And the only reason he jumps out of the way. So it's an absolute red card and why the VAR didn't get the referee to have a look at it. I will never know. It's a blatant red card. How much does the fact that it was Harry Kane planes in this? I think it plays a part. Certainly, because yeah, preferential treatment for superstars. Yeah, it happens. And to deny that it happens is being naive. And the fact that it is hurricane, I do think there is something to that. I also do think that when you come out and say something along the lines of Robertson would have been better off, just taking the challenge if you wanted a red car for Harry Kane. That shows that level of ineptitude. That I think is flagrant is egregious to the point where you show a level of ignorance as to how this game should be played. So to your point, then, if they just come out and say, look, we got it wrong. It's a mistake. My bad, look, we have a system in place that help us out that maybe should allow us to get this calls, right? We're trying to work through that. But we did not get those calls, right? We're going to learn from this, grow from this, and in the end, we're going to get better and next week, we're going to get this calls right. We wouldn't say anything about it. That's it. The story's done. There are no more muse to this. But when you come out and make this sort of statement, again, ignorant as the statements are and flagrant and egregious as they are, now it's just embarrassment. Now you're displaying a level of ineptitude that we simply can not pass. And we have to highlight it. Just like you have to highlight the fact that Harry Kane should have been thrown out of the game. And just like you have to highlight the fact that their own reasoning, when they say the fact that Andrew Roberson jumped, okay? I can spin that argument around and say, he jumped and still got caught. Yeah. So that's how high the tackle was from Harry Kane. It shows idiotic. I have to see. When I heard Harry Kane's explanation, I thought I caught the ball and then Andy said a quarter on the foot. I thought that was as ridiculous a defense as I could hope to hear. And then it just seemed like the PGM was said, you just watched this Harry. Hold my beer..

"The fact that at one one, they should have had a penalty. And Harry Kane sent off as well. Just going into a little more depth as to why you're wrong. Well, you're talking about the hot talking about decisions. I'm talking about the flow of the game and in terms of the way that tactics were played out. And the way that the chances came about and Tottenham created lots of good chances. We saw the chances for song when he was one, but one against the goalkeeper. We saw dele Alli get through on a couple of occasions. We saw Harry Kane should have scored. Yes, Liverpool played well when they were going forward, but they were vulnerable defensively. And I think we're going to talk about refereeing decisions and should they be sent off. But what we should be talking about as well, it was a fantastic game between two sides. We played it very much their maximum to a certain degree. Yeah, that's fair. That's a fair point as much as we will dwell on the officials and the mistakes that they made. Overall, considering some of the droughts that we've seen Shaka over the last few months, this was fantastic. It was. And credit to spurs who themselves have not been at their best up until no and should a sight of them as did Harry Keane that we hadn't seen before the season. It was a really good game of football decisions apart. Between two good teams, that seem on the up. We've made a lot about spoons as I just mentioned with their slow start. They have games in hand. And all of a sudden, now the top four is within touching distance and you're seeing a side of them that suggests that they are going to make a run at it. Well, talk about a top four potential a little bit later on in the show, but let's talk about those decisions. Statements that have come out first from the PGM mo.

They've got a real gunfight for the champions league places next year the injuries of taken toll the were way to open nicotrol. The game from most parts play some nice stuff again and scored a wonderful goal. But they've been so open at the bark and vowed a couple of opportunities in the falstaff and when the opportunity came along and the second half of course another calamity the buck. I don't think i could believe what you see it on the sidelines. But that's the reality of it. That's the have claimed. Playoff possession bring yang suzanne. I'm sure that you klopp kind of sits down has a maybe a couple of coffee with him or or maybe even a beer and talk through those mistakes and that just normal is a is a human being there will be moments where you make mistakes and and obviously cost him because a malaga an because Obviously mentioned the city is is kind of just flying away on their way to the title and nobody can stop them and liverpool is going through some some difficult moments. But it's also understandable as frank said. You know it's all dykes injury. And then other injuries kind of got ended on and and for three years they played mos amazing football on the planet. They were flying. I always call him up. Two hundred mph and and it's it's it was so enjoyable or is still enjoyable to watch them but it's it's normal that it comes now a period of time where things don't work out the they're not gonna win the championship for sure not But there's still have to get into the champions league. I mean you've got to give leicester a huge compliment for the season that they play So far but but when things like that happen. Individual mistakes happen especially a goalkeeper. You just need to to be with him. You gotta gave him all the support in the world and and Have a talk with him and and make sure that he kind of refocuses and and put it out of his mind because it it always. The next game is in a few days again

Jurgen Klopp Belittles Journalist With Ugly Putdown After Manchester City Defeat
"The first time that you've been on craig since you're klopp and have that show how you describe it kind of attack journalists after the game was on the new tweeted about these against. I think this guy has had more than enough plaudits on deserve them. But quite frankly i think he's rhetoric and has behavioral season has been disgusted. I mean embarrassing condescending. Look i get it i understand. There's no easy when you as a planner as a manager after the game particular manager when you're not playing well and when you have just been smashed by your biggest rivals for the last as i get that it's not easy and you got to go and talk to the rep race and you're going to and talk to the domestic tv and radio then you got to do the foreign broadcast but guess what. Guess what the reason you're able to bring individual dykes and the allison. And the reason you're in such a big salary is because these people pay all the money in domestic broadcast us and global broadcast pale the money and so you can get paid we get paid and so you can go and bring it in big money players and enjoy elite level football. It's not too much to ask to go along and get some the public in a minute. Sixty seconds to questions and he made that clear your club. You can be advocate and you can be tasty and you can keep your short. We don't have to go along and be condescending and rude telling the guy you're not even print job that team point no it's not ten and then he spends the next thirty seconds or twenty seconds. Well your second question already and you had to condescending and it's rude and it's not too much to ask if he doesn't want if he wants to give answers right give answers but he's no bail than the mon- in the league that to talk to the broadcast and fulfil is media duties because these people pay the money helps pay hayes wages and helps pay transfer fees and salaries. So why would he treat many different aurigny different to any other pets. I thought it was rotten. And i'll tell you what. I think we're seeing this guy. No and he's truly the mask has slipped because it doesn't need to done he's got enough money in the bank and i don't mean and financial terms i mean in the results. He's all right. Everybody knows bonn dykes not for. Everybody knows gomez is not for. Everyone knows that it's difficult not expecting him to win. Twenty games role with all these players. Oh no one. But maybe they can expect a common decency when you're talking to reporters and that's what that was locking common decency

Klopp's Pop at Journalist Justified?
"We start off in the premier league premier league table. Of course that shows that live in the moment are ten points adrift of manchester city at the top of the table. After their four one victory against liverpool were anfield. On sunday urine quilt. Not happy with the journalist off the game. We will ask them whether or not the title race was over. He said you need to prepare for your job better and ask better questions. Water waste of a question. Was i am the master of wasting questions as we welcome in don and stevie nickel to the show steve. This isn't the first time that we've seen from murugan clock the cracks appearing from his happy friendly personality that we're kind of used to and i suppose it's a lot easier to be that shining. Happy guy when you're winning or losing. It's a lot harder here. Let's i've i've said previously. I think he. He has opened his mouth too much. He's complained too much more too much. But all of those have been he's had type thing kubota and actually rationalize things straight after regain when you asked the question and you've just lost. I can assure you you talk about being prickly. I don't personally think was much question back in on the sound. Why he he got prickly about. I'm sure i'm sure he wanted to get in the guy's face not just through a common so i would suggest that it gets a little bit down because straight after a game and and say after the game particularly when you coercion. You sat on the bench. And he's your team. You see things a lot differently for a period of time between the game furnish and maybe three or four years later when you have attained digest and think about. It will look stuff. You have a more realistic picture of what isolate happened. So i do have a little sympathy on this occasion because you straight after a game and it straight after the defeat on on a big defeat. But you steve. It's not a stupid question. It's not unequally trying to get on your skin eight. Yeah it's the timing of don straight after the game. He probably understands that. There's gonna be some questions late. And he does one answer them and it makes them feel bad. He's emotional. All of the things that will be going through has had and some per character is going to ask the wrong question wrong time and then he's gonna get bought after game so again. You gotta have some sympathy. We call come on don. I've got little sympathy because he is emotional. That's why we love your good on bought. But i just think he's been lot while. And i think he's frustrated. I think actually Finger on what's gone wrong. He shot field. He's strong side. Three home defeats on the spins. Just not being heard off for a long time. The lose into all about sides get wins. Got no momentum. Just when he thinks he's crocked that when they win a couple of games in the capital they lose again bryan and it was a bottle of could be two three and he's probably lookout. I think in wet is his team. Go probably what. Can i do it a bit. Better rather than just happened to go. The pressman impressment of asked question. Now i've never stood dead in tech. Larry asking the questions as sorry answered questions after game. I'm allowed to be terrible. No up emotional both professional job. He's been in the dugout along time he must know. These questions are coming when you will ten points beyond man's satan with a game in hand. It's not ludicrous. Should disappear to ask you and call all your team in terms of winning the league. It's Hot Out West: Interview with Seattle Storm's Jordin Canada
"What's going on WB Fans Meg mcpeek I am so happy to be joined by our guest Jordan Canada. She is one of the up and coming superstars in the WMBA. She obviously plays for the Seattle storm coming off a win and you know without introducing her I've got to talk about some of the accolades because you can't mention Jordan Canada and not talk about defense in this league. Here's a two, thousand, nine, hundred, wnba. All defensive first team one, she's a WNBA champion with the Seattle Storm Two thousand eighteen sweeping the Washington mystics open. Guess what she was drafted number five overall by Seattle and I think my favorite fun fact about Jordan is the fact that you are the first. Woman. First Woman in PAC twelve conference history to score eighteen hundred points. Record seven hundred assists in you joined one of the best to ever do it in Gary Payton. In I. I. think that is probably the coolest thing as well. I don't know about you. I'm so excited to have you on the show first off. Happy Belated Twenty Fifth Birthday. How was it? In the bubble. Thank. You obviously, it was quite different. I didn't really get to do much. So I had practice and then I came back and I kinda just chilled That's pretty much I can do is I've been inside the bubble but I've. Sydney gifts my parents sent me a little birthday cake and some edible arrangements. So I got to celebrate just That's amazing. I'm a big fan of the edible arrangements myself. So I am super jealous about that and you mention you know being limited on what you can do in the bubble how is life going in the bubble and? To that point what has been your favorite thing to do not hoops related. The honest we come and don't have much here. We have a pool at the legacy hotel, which is right right up. The street you can save because we're all in villa. So we have a pool that we can go to I. Know they have like early morning golf lessons. and that's pretty much it. That's all we have So for the most part I mean, if you're with your teammates hanger with team You. Aims walking by because we're all in the same areas. Say hello to each other and speak to you know speech our friends and that's pretty much a practice and you come back to your villa. You'd relax and chill we go to games I'm. Really all that we have are you try to make the most of it I? Mean I'm very simple. So it doesn't bother me as much I'm such an introvert. I'm a homebody. So mostly in my room, some of most time just watching TV and stuff. So it's been fine in the beginning of a little bit rough I know something. Terrible living conditions would it where they were saying and stuff but I never had a problem with it but it's been much better You know we've only been here a little over a month. So it's getting better and I think we're just getting used to the conditions of the environment. I'm so happy I actually have something in common with Jordan Canada I am very introverted as well and homebody. So it's good to know if I was in the bubble I would be able to survive with like you said the Gulf I'd be able to hit up. So that'd be pretty cool and it's always fun to relax outside at the pool when you have an off day. So I, know when things being in the bubble and the season being much different than what you're accustomed to. Of course, the news before heading down to a Bradenton geared kloppenburg would be filling in again for coached in Hughes just because of the health concerns with his previous health and cove nineteen how has the team been in contact with coach hugues while being in the bubble? How have you all and coach Kloppenburg still managed to integrate coach us into the day to day of the season. I mean, well, we kind of had a little bit of of that last year when our coaches out when need. Your cancer in remission stuff so. We kinda had. A few games in the season without him and we kinda had to, you know do without him and adjust, but he's always been very active and engaged with us. He I know he talked to the coaching staff allow he does takes me call me from time to time just to talk and catch up I. Don't know about the other players but yet he's just been very engaging in still keeping contact i. know the coaches do a good job of You know talk to him and him incorporating things that he sees while he's. Just, something that he wants us to do Argos very that in. So having a coach Klopp no, be the interim goes like he's had experienced last year being you know in position than he's done a great job and you know we also have like sue bird who's technically light a coach he knows that they're helping. US as well. So we have a lot of help but I know that you know we we really do Miss Dan and I know he's cheering us on from home and you know work continuing to pray for him after thought. So it's it's been a good experience at amazing and it's as if you have done this media before because we me Perfectly with mentioning sue bird and for fans that may not be aware two, thousand nineteen with sue being out with her injury. You were basically thrust in your second season into the starting role and leading this team from the point guard position and being a vocal leader at such a young age in your career. Can you tell us just how that adjustment was? Last season and dealing with that, and even if you know as you mentioned is basically an extra coach with the team on the floor now that you've got her back in the lineup, how how was that transition for you and what advice did she give you throughout last season? It was it was It was tough. I would say there was a lot of ups and downs during that season. It's very hard coming from and you're you know one of the star players on the team you're playing a lot of minutes and you come into a team that's fully stagnant at the see. Find Yourself and my rookie year I had a hard time finding my role I was very up and down I, kind of lost a little bit of my confidence. So it was it was a hard adjustment and then going overseas having to be thrust back into a starting position than have to you know get that leadership back in that confidence bag. So I think that really helped a lot going into two thousand, nineteen season I mean obviously, I didn't expect to be out but because. I was prepared and I gained a little bit my confidence back. I was able to just we know set Ryan in. Obviously there have been subscription ups and downs during that season and trying to learn as I go but sue was a big help. I mean the the best advice that she gave me was don't worry about trying to fill my shoes in in trying to be like me just play your game I know once I came into the league, everyone was talking about Oh. Jordan and ensue in is Jordan going to be able to about up to sue in an expectations and so she told me not to worry about that lying just go out inches player game two point guards, two different types of styles. But what I bring to the table is very important to the team, and so I keep that in mind last year and just trying to play my game and not. The. You know the outside noise and just Do What my team needed to do and I kinda, you know gained a lot of confidence in that and incoming in this season and having Birdie back. I mean like I? Say We're two different point guards in two different styles and if you've watched this play the season, you can kinda tell the difference of when I committed in when she's in. So it's just great to see that you know we're able to play together and you know still Kinda or me keep up the pace with the team when I'm coming in and not have a a low or did. when sue comes out so it's just been awesome experience so far she's been a tremendous help and in my growth all around. How important was that advice that she gave you of reminding you don't try to be me be yourself like how how integral was that inner growth especially, you mentioned now having her back. was very helpful I mean coming into it team like I said I was fully back in playing behind one of the. Honestly. The best point guards ever played the game I mean, that's kind of like nerve wracking and still you have your own expectations like I don't want to screw I don't. WanNa. Come in to a team as police tag playing behind the best point guard ever and you know fail I. Mean there's some of the things I not to think about my rookie year in having her tell me that especially a veteran who's been as game for so long you know she didn't have to tell me that she didn't have to step aside and say, Hey, like don't worry player game don't worry about outside noise expectations just just play your game in big about the team and you which you need to do to to get us to where we are and so to have that advice as such. Early stage in my career was is extremely helpful and it has helped me at times. I think about those times she says that it just calmed down because I know there's been times in the season last year this year where I get super rattle and try to do too much in that think about. That, like calmed down, relaxing, get back to who I am as a player. So to have that to have that advice as A. Data Mark Career is a blessing in Zomba's very thing for

Lights Lights One. Oh, yeah, absolutely I mean that's we should. Actually we could talk about that in a second. Yes it's it's a funny thing. I was thinking about your guys career just in general, and you know from when you started performing up until now just so much of the the not not the music, but the actual production of the show has changed. You know the level of the festivals the technical level the just how much money is going into the whole thing. It's Kinda Wild I. Wonder if that was was that an adjustment period for you guys, or was it just sort of gradually? You ramped up your show at a match it. Exactly that was a gradual thing, right? I remember even apart from bad back when we started. Obviously, we didn't even have a manager for years. Right, Bussey. It was like everything Wednesday buster another than we played shows even think of visuals than we created also visual loop for like remember. What was it like? Twenty five thirty minute loop? Yeah. Yeah Yeah, and it just runs in the background, right? Slightly at the beginning what manager? What's what's visual loop? It was not a DJ showed the DJ when we started was placed somewhere in the corner right, and then like some of the big room. KLOPP's eventually with the DJ a little more visual 'cause it start into. Hey, people are looking for that special guy, or they're coming for to guy and then. On on. I remember that when some shows in Holland I think were the first ones where we saw an anti club. All facing the DJ before. Dancing everywhere all over the place. and. It was so interesting. That was new doing those the early two thousands that we had total new kind of conduct dance culture. It was like people were into collapsed there were you the bar and dancing, and now it's like when when we play a show. Every single face in our in our direction, so thinking about it, yeah, it's actually a total different way of going out and partying and enjoy the night. Yeah, it's really interesting. I started DJ in the late nineties, and so I was right on the tail end. You know when I started when I started going to events and all that it was very much the old days that you're talking about where it was dark you. You couldn't really see anything I didn't know where the DJ was, and then kind of right at right at the end of the nineties when I first started getting my first real show as when that switch happened, and it was really weird. I wasn't expecting it for you guys. Was that something you? You know in the early days where you comfortable with that. Did you feel like performers? You want to be on stage. were. Just mentioning the one word, a DJ turned more into a performer these days. It's more occur forms as some people come more for the event performance than eventually for Dha Music which still? Meal, wrapping it up in what what I say now still Farrah's The music is always the center and should be key over tension, and that will always be what's most important for us, but of course these that you cannot you cannot just you know. Look on your players at a not interact at all with the crowd. You can't do this these days. Maybe, I can speak for the two of us we. We grew into that where we're never the guys that search for every Kendra. Oh, we gotta jump in. but yeah we. We grew into the situation with comfy with it now it's it's fun. And when when the crowd is so much energy to to cheer back into It's awesome that. Really emotional at driving and so it wasn't it was we. We grew insulin and wait. We really enjoyed. Now may be boring to still do just the cool Dj Noah you right so. It's nice to see when they all face. You also especially back then because. The production was as Baker, was still about the music, but there was still facing. You just felt like they really care about the music they really. WanNa hear new music and expect you to surprise them and it was. Good to see all this attention than it made us also better DJ septic.

Chelsea’s Lampard tells Liverpool not to get too arrogant
"Shocker Shirley. It's not about the profanity to hear more about our Lampard said calling Liverpool arrogant. What do you think about the words in the Chelsea manager? I have no problem with the exchanges as they have on the sidelines. These things happen every single game. Between managers between players between teammates and the training, so there's nothing new or unique about this other than. points out the fact that there's no crouch. Obviously, we hear a lot, Clara. Do take a little bit of exception to frank coming out and seeing well, he would have had a beer with with you in club, but for what was said on the sidelines, not by Union club by the. Coaches. I read that has anything to do with it. You have these heated exchanges. Both men with would know this. And then you go in and you. You have a drink as much as do after the game. And you move on. I don't see why anything. About bolted, but to use that as an excuse, not to have a drink with and club I thought a little bit silly, and then you can klopp kind of doubled down on the silliness by him bringing up what Frank Lampard said in the. Post game press conference. A whole lot of silliness at play here that somehow snowballed into an issue. Greg just to clarify. Do you see any point to what Lampert says when he calls Liverpool, aggregate. No not are the best team in the country. This year in terms of the league possession by a male. They have a manager who demands is teamwork hard. They celebrate that enthusiastic. Mirror image of their manager in terms of desire and their enthusiasm and the drive. And I don't think anybody thinks. The arrogant. I think we don't know what was said from the bench from one of the coaches whether they threw something and jokes, he's face we don't know. So, you know only allow these coaching staff and the substitutes would have heard that, but certainly from eleven club playing perspective. There's no arrogance. Whatsoever. What we have to remember here Frank Pas and second unit management right false, cheering the premier league, the needed a point. To Guarantee Champions League football. Game against all needed to get something probably be. Champions League, the pressure was on. The result was going against them Liverpool. Tearing them apart at one point, he was not seeing as clear as normally would. Hide a moment. And there's nothing wrong with our have we can. Activists push for the release of vulnerable inmates from prisons
"Well some prisoners are expected to walk out of prison from this Tuesday in New Jersey the Chief Justice announced on Sunday that up to one thousand inmates will be released to reduce the high risk of contamination in prison according to The New York Times no other state has taken such sweeping action but the other cities including New York Cleveland Tulsa under Klopp in Oklahoma have moved to release a sick or vulnerable detainees I spoke to a former inmates now advocates of prison reform Vidal Goodman in New York City and he gave me an idea of the conditions on right because Ireland is horrible right exactly is built on trash the simple when it rains the trash from Ryker's actually ha goals next to beaches and stuff like that people can smell it close to their homes are we getting in there and the the crux offices don't even drink the water when you talk about rats and roaches oh my god beyond disgusting so you're basically describing a cesspit of illness of fleas for disease on book TV tell me about the living arrangements in writers so you had dormitories individuals who are like No sales but you can keep someone in dorm for thirty to forty fifty people so there's two different type of places where people can actually you know live at and I was in both places so basically if someone sick in the door commentary that means you're probably going to be sick if someone sick in the cell maybe you can get sick because you're going to be what everyone in the day room and now we've heard that New Jersey will release as many as one thousand people from its jails and president trump has also said that some non violent prisoners could be released what do you think about that Arron Arron release forty five thousand for now people that they had incarcerated in New York City they released like around twenty seven people we know how the corona viruses and we know how impacted people are we know how bad it can really get them even when I was on writers are just not prepared for me I'm at a level where like as much people need to be released from what you're saying makes sense you feel like they could do a lot more these are human beings and I think that another part about it is that we're talking my regular almond majority of some people in there are still awaiting trial even if they get sentenced and sent somewhere else that doesn't mean that the person supposed to suffer because of the chrome vice let me tell you something like I'd been in facilities where you're talking about six feet away from each other that is non existing facilities especially like records on other places I knew this was gonna happen like the coronavirus is going to hit our facilities especially on prison and jail the most part the suspected what good was just suspect valium this is just the beginning yes and the only thing about it is like we're putting spotlights on LA New York Washington but imagine the facilities and and and down south okay so what is a recommendation to control the coronavirus he met the jail system in the US I think the most important part is people were violated for parole probation they need to stop at a small percentage of it is people who had did crime and the largest percentage of people missing curfew or felony drug tests and that is the growing in population in America the parole and probation system so that's a start first right vidoe

of the people that listen to you don't know what you line thank because radio yeah you have to actually have gone onto the website or follows you on a social media platform to no you look like and that third is automatically clean wit so for us to be recognized you all being recognized generally by Weirdos some of us that do t television it's relevant feel like we've changed as a sous he's got and you know those paper bikes they wanted you to six six hundred pounds overdrawn all those paper bags that they put you yes in the shop so it's not that and she started being in sick no given the wall and I should be sick she was like Avon's watching and I was like your eye she turns me mouth went oh my God he's your baby Oh yeah that's me yes you do lou itself as I after you've been sake yeah but it's not the first time I've been recognized that waist really yeah just before on weird look weird just before started working on said radio station England then how can how can I explain why I know this story I think you're about to say I had to go for a routine checkup a routine gene check hope and this specialist right east straight out Younis is not much older than me and I got that will make you could smalto he could tell you a nervous fellow bill so I'm talking to him I don't like making the most awkward small talk about the weather about the cycling in all this kind of thing that he says right in its papillon occur and I'm gonNA give you a prostate exam I said yeah that's fine totally fine he said just get you down to your knees and putting as t- chest I am that Canadian behind in the global literally like a fulfilled in this league and he's finger we still talk about impeaching cycling in the weekend all would smalto opens boom shake soon as he sticks his finger up it goes I agent radio at the weekend I went the joke an air lock down that these days I capability he's having a full on chat with me about radio one career while he's fingering me ours so what does the girl on the train it's the BBC and if you do guys have any problems get yourself checked out I was at the doctors over the summer and everything was fine it was I remember I was there and I I thought I was being recognized derived checked in went to the to the Lou and came out in this young ish guy came up to me uh-huh and when excuse me you will and I only here we go properly poku snow like one of ours and puff chess down yes yeah you've been cold because how dare he can try my name did I tell tell you what else told about me when is it not rocket fan dot com with my face on the bag yes basically at a car was examined local the name on the side of the car and it was in the gym anatomy I'd phones in this gill short do you work for them off off the I'm sweating me now you've left you break because rolling down literally finish Mr Foe Watson yourself you all have you ever had prostate takes them not sufficiently speaking of doctors and is it ever okay 'cause I do this all the time and way moves is that what okay to rip the pages of my no is out without permission mission of the of the receptionist thing I always say stuff magazine's knitting patterns I'm starting to mood board Oh I'm buying a house in the New Year are oh you why have you and I'm I'm talking about this later I'm starting a mood board for like I did some some medical and my interior on a sofa magazines ripped out a written out really loud noise and everybody waiting room we're looking the council Christmas with that I was going what was was the page it really inspiring a cellphone off from DFS the fabric leather fabric it was my skin like scandi style right yeah this woman Game Eagles giving me looks like a lot well so we all thanks thanks Linda Balka so anyway how how's your week been it's all about me Joe Weeping yes fine I guess what I went and so for the fourteenth time we've just been told you don't need to keep this bit long so he's going to be guess what I saw for the fourth time Mary pissing poppins Yes yes I am I was having a very bad day last week and I wasn't planning to see it and I was in town and walk past the print side with hr and I walked into space you happen to have any Stacy's returns and they said no but come back in a few hours we might do so I did and and and they did they had one so I bought it it's cheap and not telling you so not any and it it was it was in the stools let's put it that way and that's you know the Labor bitch about the seat I mean there could but it was pretty good and I found myself sitting next to Mary poppins mother this was the mother of the actress playing Mary poppins when I saw it the week before on its opening I have noticed that Mary during two scenes drinks tea from a teacup and had been holding a teacup with little finger extended which we don't do is we Do because as I think I have explained on this podcast before can you remember it's because they used to do it in the fridge olden days what was it the Court of Louis Fourteen fifteen sixteen and it meant that you had the club if you get drunk you take a little pinky oh P- yeah it was a code for saying I've got the KLOPP up you've got the club yeah we can have into 'cause well yeah you it was not polite to sleep someone without letting them know that you had syphilis so you put your little finger out when drinking tea at court of an evening the other school of thought because that particular strain of syphilis was so strong at the time it made your joints stiffen up so you physically couldn't wrap your fingers round so either way gets it's syphilis related so I was having chat with easy Stalin's mother and during the interval and we were chatting about one or two things and she said Oh some of the costs went shore if they they should be saying mammal mom and I said Oh it's definitely Ma'am and she don't we do not get things rights and at that point I thought well here is my opportunity Yep so I said I just point point one other thing out could you pass this along I don't think we want to syphilis Mary and I think we probably want the little finger touch and I explained to her and she was she was made all the right noises so very interesting when I go and see it next week to see if that fingers touching how can you go and see a show so I honestly got gingy visit stress how obsessed this Mondays

Norwich stun Manchester City with thrilling 3-2 win against Premier League champions
"Hutchison joins me as we talk about a busy Saturday in the premier league well as much as Norwich place tonight after that massive result darn against Manchester City for the canaries with a win who would have thought it. I just have to you know oh pay homage to our lovely backdrop tonight on the River Thames. Look at this Hammersmith Bridge doesn't get much better than this. Unless of course he goes to tower bridge. Let's get because it's GonNa look like it's is probably not going to get better than that a win against the champions given the injuries that they've had as well. Did you see this. Did you see this coming because I've I have no mindset you all day long I believe but I tell you what I did. See it coming after about fifteen minutes when they approach the game with lows of arrogance Man City. I think they thought I think pep thought this. She's going to be easy three points. We'll just turn up play football. We'll keep hold of the ball will pay Loza possession based football will just play between the lines and score some goals. We'll go back with three points. It never walk walk that it definitely did not work. That's what I mean. Kudos enormous because what we thought was the fact that wants Man City scored. I want that goal the floodgates it would have opened but for somehow they still weren't able to break down. Why is that do you think they're missing a certain emmerick report as well there that probably would have helped them? Oh I think so I think along with probably one or two of their best player LaPorte la season. It was terrific. an emergent is one of the best center often world football so yes. He's going to be a massive miss. I still thought though because I've covered PEPs teams over the years I remember when he was at Barcelona and how much go rhino planes a holding midfielder played him center off on the same. We'll have you Martinez at Buyin so I actually thought you to play on Dino's center off the former Rhodri so that might be a pet might do down the line but you looked at automatically today and Johnstone's and they looked as was on the never played a game of those two especially were all over the place and just speaking on that LaPorte injury of course we know that is going to be a timely injury that do you think it will end up costing city the title especially given how Liverpool are going. It's a worry because listen mindset. You're all filled full superstar so you can identify any given time who you think might be Miss Kevin Lebron's last season but still won the league and still performed at a high level Aguire Heyzer to play number Games what you take out the poll where I I think he's one of the best center off do brings balance being left foot center off plan on that left side also plant life backing play as a third sent off as well so you take him at the equation on all of a sudden Muncie. It sounds strange to say still look a little bit short defensively well interesting. You say that then because remember this is Matt cities. I lost in the primarily since January incredible run an incredible stat that so given the fact that with everything that you just said and this LaPorte injury is it. Are they going to be to shell shocked. Do you think it to go on a run. That's again yeah. It'd be very interesting to have been a fly on the wall in the dressing room. Afterwards pen going ballistic. His players have just said this is a warning. This is a war and you can't any teams for granted or or the Badeah chewed or a touch of arrogance. It's nice to have a environment because it makes you play one. That makes you be confident but you can't take your position. Especially someone. Knowledge is a dangerous underdog because they've got players like Tim O. Cookie and can't who I think's going to be a superstar player they can hurt you at any given time but no one really soldiers coming. I think best case scenario thought I think people thought would win the game. Maybe nausea my goal to and give them a fright but the paper is going to be very interested in the tomorrow morning just before we move on from this. Let's just touch on March for because like you said this was definitely not a result anybody would have predicted voted for them. You know the manager even saying that beating city would be like climbing Mount Everest without any oxygen but they've done it. Can they build from this because as well a lot of people didn't even pick them to survive this primarily season Norwich Fan please. You'd ask Donyell faulk on never ever to change Shange always because you went to Anfield and I was sick and tired side of the press over the weekend call knowledge naive because they went to onfield outplayed Liverpool for probably thirty thirty five minutes of the game but lost by four goals to one so everyone label them naive Econ Hong Kong have this approach against its helps just proved if you style of play and you stick with duck and you Australian your beliefs you can get results against anyone so I just said Kudos Norwich on and a fantastic sean the on them because I'll give them so much confidence because then expected to get results against Mansi liberals they can do that two teams in and a random they must be safe life this season all right well next on my list that I have here because it's twenty nine thousand nine. We use technologies over phones now Liverpool. That's definitely somewhere that you know very well and hold dear to your heart up against Newcastle your hometown team Newcastle giving Liverpool bit of scare in the beginning but Liverpool as many would have expected expected on some how did what matches the city did not be was not able to do and just came absolutely roaring back shocked to unbelievable strike from jetro volumes uh-huh on his weaker right foot as well and smashed into the stanchion and all of a sudden you think in this is GonNa be a test of Liverpool golf with the European champions. They've gone arrogance about them. Where that that just swatting teams away? It doesn't matter if you poke the more you or your so of small scoring early goal at Anfield especially with the two years does this season last sees anything because of the Champions League I think so I think than being European champions now give them the air confidence arrogance where they believe her Jergen KLOPP speak to the press over the weekend in the UK. Hey saying he believed these players but now the play is believe in themselves which is huge on a mentality front because now that go beyond against Newcastle go beyond against anyone he wanted primitive and all of a sudden you poke menu and you smile at them and all of a sudden that's helped players. Just go through the gays and people like Maan who's an incredible. I mean what's He got twenty three goals in twenty nine unreal all of a sudden looking at superstar player. Everyone was talking about Mosala being the superstar fun Daikin Alison even though he didn't play today that building just such a rich squad where you think they all start contend believable with Muncie could be there yeah. What are you touched on Saudi-omani and of course like you were saying everyone has been talking about most most especially after you know the records he has he the and the record breaking man he has been livable so you think that Saudi-omani is a top man I do because I I look at him and I watch an I an analyzes attitude and he's he's strong durable? He's never injured even when he is ill play with Knox. those managers are priceless. the way he plays lays full of energy is hard as nails. He's he's quick dynamic. He makes things happen with support. FEE can run in beyond without the ball is now getting these goals does. He's getting his assists so when you when you analyze Liverpool you think who would they miss the most probably Saudi-omani all right well. Let's move on now to Chelsea because because what a result up against a team that we know wolves can be a very tough team to beat especially at home but you know. Can we get a hip hip Hooray for the Youth Steve Chelsea something that you know I want to say everyone has sort of pooh-poohed on in recent time saying young manager too many young players. They don't quite have have the experience to really go deep in the Premier League. It's GonNa take them at least another year or two but this is looking like a brilliant squad that really can threaten some of the other teams on Credit Franklin part especially Jody Morris so I know quite well it was working beyond the scenes academy level a few years ago before you went to Dhabi so he knows the young players coming through and there's many Moore's boy call James is not it's not really featured just yet who's going to be or could be a superstar so the way francs been brave. You'll have to say that it would be very easy if you're young manager to go with tried and tested rested experienced players but Franks put to one side he still got a good blend is still got got. The comeback who played a part in today's game were injured. He still contact the comeback but credit emmys playing the young boys. He's playing Mason. Mount is playing some more who got a goal today. He's playing Abraham do get in gold and top joint top-scorer and so you know frank is being a very brave manager tuck going in a in a club like Chelsea wherever it's always WANNA come yesterday. There's never been any for room for manages to try and maneuver in the past so yeah. There's a very very good job Jodi Jodi. Let's think of it on that man that you allege that you mentioned just last having Abraham wow three goals today that we know that hat trick that he's going to want to celebrate but I'm going to call it four goals because he's got yeah. He got the job of making the point. When you score three you might as well go with four escort goal any lean accounting methods it just take the fall the four hundred run put it up on social media later match go but it you know I was I was in in Istanbul covering the supercup and it was it was Jerus- dot dot dot game and it was what was going to be very interesting to see which way Frank Lenzi because they bring different aspects of that game as you root very good on the ball he can hold the ball he's into midfield as dream but tammy now is starting to become and he's not quite there yet but he's nearly the finished article where is hold a place getting better? He's very quick a spinning in beyond but more important getting goals are you surprised with the way in which she's just been improving and seems to be going from strength to strike because it was thought that was flaws in his game wealth will the whole to play our thought jude was better player but he was quicker than Jerusalem is an unwieldy down the line getting these calls which is most important for centerfolds. You know you can have all the build up. Play you like banging in the goals. People will start asks the question when especially when you're young plan your and a Chelsea side as I said I've got no take time to try and grow you go in there straightaway and you're banging in the goals and you're playing well. He's in a good rich painful from a rich vein of form there at Chelsea. Let's move on to Manchester United the the roller coaster. I have to laugh because I know you watch that game closely on paper Win for Manchester United up against Leicester who everyone said we're really and truly favorites going into this one you know ahead of them in the premier my league table but it really was not a performance that I would say you could take confidence from it was a strange game commentary on the game and it was almost aside Lester went into the favorites because of the quality players on paper but it's almost like they tried to kick dumpster united and Monday night responded really well Scott mcdonagh a real shift and it was probably their lead on the day he's only twenty two and he was he was Marshall Not Midfield and he was getting around everywhere. He was leading from the front. He was very aggressive. Although Daniel James had another superb game he was very lively off the left hand side rash was a little bit in and out penalty goal but still doesn't look like it doesn't look like a readymade centerfold or so much like learning these game off the left hand side and all of a sudden being thrown is a centerfold she still learning so think to analyze the game. It was one where normally manages try to analyze the performance and that's what they want. A thought today was a case of Oregon social just wanting the three points. That's what you needed just to give them a little bit of confidence and may be in the games come up with. You've got some really till fixtures. Maybe the three points against Leicester will probably not listed down a peg or two and give the money funds underplays a little bit more confidence. Do you think let's run out steamed. You pick them to run out of steam. I know this is a topic that we spoke about a lot when they ended up winning the primarily because again you know they started off so well and nobody picked it to last. This is another you know season where less to have started very well and we see the troubles with some of the other bigger clubs the Monday night is the Chelsea's having their slip-ups even spurs here and there on Arsenal so do do you pick them to to go deep is everyone has expected. I think so think my two teams I think would be calm unless that to try and get close to the top six. I think wolves are not just because of the loss today today but they've got Europe League football which is always difficult on a small squad. I think it's too much for them. but I was quite surprised at how Lester started the Game Brandon Brendan I think might want to see changes weight changes system. He played a forty three one way in the last two weeks. He's played a four one four one and makes Lester be more on the front foot a little bit defensive today a little bit on the puck for a little bit so of an order of Monday night but I think if let's go that time again and Brendan how again to to play assistant ultra and win the thing you'd have been one or two things

"Wanting a huge shock in the Champions League in two thousand sixteen of course, Real Madrid. What champions of Europe two thousand seventeen champions again last year? They won the title for a third season in a row this year. They have lost too young and unfancied I ex team in the knockout stage despite winning the first like to one in the Netherlands, a four one home defeat by the Dutch club makes I XE only the second team in history to go to Madrid Spanish bio stadium and overturn a first leg deficit in a European knockout time Madrid's, Mark and newspaper has the headline like a tombstone here. Lies a team that made history or one Castro from the paper showing this on the new state is this really the game that marks the death of this recent golden era. Yes. Definitely. I mean this period. Walter historical a three Champions League consecutive on the four champions in the last five years. So I mean, they deserve this. This nicknamed on this team because no nobody did what they have done. But also yesterday lies. You know, the the in in. A miracle way. Because nobody expected one one foreign Bernabeu stadium on the ridiculous of the of the team was such a big that we have to make this headline in today's newspaper. So twelve points behind boss learning in the league and outs of every Cup. Now, the season is basically over. So we're already talking about rebuilding what do Madrid half to do to turn this slump around. Well. Okay. But firstly, of course, Solari one continue even considering that he was renewed until two in twenty one. But he won continue. Of course, they will sign coach with a big name. I'll agree Jergen Klopp one of these mountain county. This is the the names right now on the table. Also, of course. Someplace will go away, including probably got his bail people. Lisa bit bid for that guy. Bail is over for him. Considering all of his great play over how it's over for him to sign big players. I mean, hassle probably another good striker. But I feel will be a lot of movement in the in the
