"On the shop floor are you kidding me about that I couple things about that clip number one true holiday is the lead defender he is an all defensive team first team guy and Luca got him not once but twice on that clip got I'm going backwards pulled him forward and blew right by him I've never seen anybody make that guy look like that he just put one of the NBA's best perimeter defenders in a blinder and then he pulverized and then here's the other thing the other thing about that clip is this maxi Kleber we've doing if the games in overtime and look at his just humiliated offender like that can set you up for a wide open three to end the game you can make that shot you have to make that shot missing that shot is not an option look it does all of that puts the ball in the perfect spot and you miss it come on man you can't do that you did a great job and signed all game then you go and ruin all that hard work by puking all over yourself at the very end of the game at least two Luka was there to bail you out by tapping that rebound out to a teammate to retain possession but you can't let that happen thank you had yeah the morally so in your hands and then you vomited all over it or as the legendary Tom Crabtree once tweeted and I quote unless you making a painting it is imperfect by other standards but it is you're painting you're proud then somebody takes a bleep on it except that painting that painting was perfect that highlight from Luka was that good and then that shot was that bad but I guess I will let that slide did you did you monster work on the defensive end again sign on it was his defense against the rookie that put that second year star in position to dominate over time in any other year any year that Yanis is not doing what he's doing Luka is an MVP candidate in his second season in other words there's so much talent among the young guy's jaw design Luca tray the list goes on last night was a reminder that the next generation is not just on its way they're already here already here and they're already damn good the association is in very good hands once that puts on his past or better yet once they rip it from lebron's cold dead hands yes good as far as the next like I said already covered yesterday their garbage I hate to crush them two days in a row I can't even touch shot earlier in the program but man their dysfunction makes it so easy to rip them so hard not to rip them I mean they can't get the hell out of their own way a day after talking about James Dolan versus Spike Lee I can't help but laugh at the franchise's former savior Christos posing as and the waistline of late with the mass like I said this guy absolutely bald I guess the pelicans last night again thirty four twelve and five blocks that's not a one off either this guy's been playing that well of late so after some early season struggles in adjusting to his new team at his new situation with Luca coming out that ACL injury it looks like he is finally settling in he was in the Western Conference player of the week and since moving from the power forward spot to center his game is clicked in his chemistry with Luka has taken off this guy slid in applying a really efficient pick and roll pick and pop game with the second year superstar it is fun to watch Knicks fan I know you don't hear it now but it's kind of trending like he's back to being that unicorn that you all thought you had you know a seven foot three guy who can move blocked shots knocking down from long distance did I mention it he is still only twenty four yeah at least you have that cap space to pursue Kadian carry right expand the skin and so badly you know this yeah my man is not about to let you forget it either he was asked after last night's game if it felt like it had a playoff type atmosphere this is what he had for unix fan Mr on I wish I had that experience have some Knicks fan have some Jim Dolan.

Sonos CEO tries to calm customers, says products will work ‘as long as possible’

"Josh did a write up on this in peace per this week And this is an announcement about Sogo. Soros us so goes so knows legacy versus modern products. And if you're wondering what that means if you're a sonos enthusiast rest and I'll just wave my hand in the air there or if you're frustrated with Sonos I'll just waved my hands in the air. They're they're classifying their products into two groups legacy and modern the modern products of course You know we'll continue to get regular software updates and it's interesting thing There's a kind of a list of the modern products and the legacy products and You know the the bridge. Ah The connect Made from two thousand fifteen the connect amp which was made from or the ones that were made between two thousand eleven. Two Thousand Fifteen because they continue to make the connecting the connect damp You know two thousand sixteen In later right until they came up with these sonos amp example that came out at the tail end of two thousand eighteen The first gen play five which I have And then a list of those EP Eighty Ninety one hundred one twenty which are fairly old but it was interesting because a lot of these products in some cases if you bought a connect Ampara connect In two thousand fifteen. You're going to be profoundly pissed off because it's essentially a four a year old five year old product. This point If you WANNA play five Jim one play five. That's a ten year old product and The the reason I'm bringing this up is You know this is this. Is You know sonos claims that they cannot get for a lot of pardons there's over one hundred streaming partners that Sonos works with this point spotify tied. All these would be the ones you might think about first audible something something like that But apparently the the the API software getting so complicated that they claim they you know a lot of these products these you know. Eight ten year old products next which respect with eight ten year old chips or at the edge of their capabilities at this point and they can no longer They can no longer kind of keep them running and or deliver the customer the user experience that she wants. And you know it's Frustrating strating would be one word for it if you own these products because they still sound fantastic They still work extremely well. They still seem to have. I've frontier purposes no delay when you start the product it's You know it's something we're probably GonNa see more and more of For these single use devices you know the register Got Really intense intense about this Thomas Kleber over the register dot co Dot. UK First of all like a lot of sites The idea that so if if I have if bald my stuff is modern like for example. Apparently might play three is new enough. You know. SONOS APP is new. And if you have the play one speakers which is what we've done a ton of our listening on Those all have enough processors to keep moving forward However the one play five we had which was perfectly adequate? Did a great job in our kitchen kitchen would no longer would aid. No longer received updates and be leaving in our network would prevent us from using Any of the Speier any of US figures network. I work from getting updated. And you know so SONA says they're gonNA give you the ability to Corentin your legacy gear You know the part of the reason I mentioned the The register article is because they pulled out some I. I think that that pulled out some quotes there. It is do you go In their Q.. Four Twenty Nine Hundred Ten k the financial filings were. Sony said quote we expected in the near term this backwards compatibility with no longer be practical color cost effective.

Dennis' Moment Lives up to the Hype in Iroquois

"Good morning my friend very good more this where we just played the clip type of this horse breaking his maiden Dennis's moment and have you. I know you've been around some pretty darn. Good horses my friend but this is that impressed that performance was so so so impressive yeah. It's bad in the best meaning victory ever seen so I've been around a Lotta. He acts like he's one of the best. When did you start to get in a sense that he could be this kind of horse like him a lot when they were breaking even then we came into us when the first time she prays. I'm working with some good horses. Nobody can keep up with it so figured we were on something pretty special and then he comes out in his maiden race and clips heels loses. Jockey Robbie Alvarado that was in June and then redeems himself of that nineteen eight victory what was going through your mind when you saw him clip heels and saw Robbie come off. That was a bad day. I was just I hope I saw the ratings. Were still in place in soap. They went come over said tripping wouldn't get hurt and then worried about he was hurt when we got back to the barn but he's sure got lucky that day and that's that's show how good he really is in. The stomach did get get himself up recovering. Come back in and Iran down to Orson wonder race and fifty Yup Yup. You know you were saying that that was maybe the most special maiden breaking performance performance that you've seen it. You've seen a lot of them. Nineteen lengths the final margin I as as he's drawing off through the stretch and you're watching that what's going through your mind. Well I mean. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. He just got widening and asks the Jack said he actually never asked him to. Rani said he couldn't tell us going that fast but turnaround look. There's nobody back there. I mean it had me shaken with so impressive when now he s a stretch out go to turns in in this mile and a sixteenth Iroquois later this afternoon. What have you done to make sure he's ready to stretch out. Well yet missed a beat. I mean the thing is you don't want to Overdo it. He's but he missed a pre work then on racetrack over day since handed and he's naturally should rallied the distance with federal great yeah he should son of. Tis Now and a horse that appears to be is talented as they come and just in case you're wondering they'll just two hundred thirty one days ten hours six minutes and four seconds until the first Saturday in May that's a lot of strategy for a horse. Do you let that cross your mind at all at this point. That's way too early. I mean you can't help but to start dreaming a little bit but there's so much inbetween here and we just wanted to get through this race if you're expecting superbowl towards the Breeders Cup. You've done pretty well in this Iroquois this again looking for your third victory. you want it in two thousand thirteen we Kleber and came back in two thousand sixteen with not this time. What is it about this race. It just seems to fit your overall schedule and your philosophy was churchill downs for one. That's that's how I need to know. The last ten years we deal with a lot of courses trying to make a derby horse or triple crown horse. This is the first step in the past thirty so it's just a pretty obvious fit force you know he showed a lot of speed going to the to the front right off the bat and that seven Furlong Maiden win. Is that the strategy. You expect to see again today. There's a lot of speed in the race so it just leave it up to the ACA Iran Ortiz. The best rat countries coming in around him breaking. Put him wherever he feels comfortable. Just try not to give him. Stop talking about that relationship. You have with the al-baas obviously you've you've had a ton of success in recent years partnering with them talk about that relationship yeah. It's been good I mean. We put a system together several years ago to try to get derby horses. We've put up. We've had a five years. I've got the three times and really everybody thinks they have a Lotta. Horses will only about eight euros a year so the systems working and hopefully this horse can get us there. A two definitely deserved win the big yeah no doubt about it. This horse sold for four hundred thousand dollars as a yearling at the Saratoga sale the phasing Tipton Saratoga sale last last year. What was it you saw him as a yearling that made you think okay we gotta have him well. We got a big team. That goes out selects. The horses got from the pedigree the analyst of the shortlist very park for not come through with the final say and he just jumped through all the hoops you have to go through the cardiovascular exam a skeleton exam he jumped through all the hoops and you know the price point we thought was fair for Saratoga. Especially four hundred thousand looks like it's GonNa pay the off. Yeah it certainly does. He's he's talented. Dennis's moment in the grade three Iroquois race ten at Churchill this afternoon yet a few others to you have three other maidens ends that are entered you have to in the fourth race in one in the eleventh race following the Iroquois Tell me a little bit about cigar box and fight fight fight in the fourth scratched fight fight fight fight. I don't like him. Come out on the white running KLOM race and cigar box source. He's doing good. You never know about our debut but he's training very well. later later on we've got the very top divorce and continental clash another. Tis Now. He's a big strong. Colton who got started anymore else. He just wanted to stretch out on. I just want to get a raise at L. Cave you. You know it's funny. When you think about sport seems Dale you often hear that they don't rebuild build. They reload in every year. You come round with these top two year olds. It seems like that's all you do. You don't rebuild just reload this game. Everything starts on September. When we start on babysit hopefully continue to do that. You know the our goal is to win executor. Everyone saying the only way you can do to start with some good young horses yeah it would be special special del Romans a native of Louisville to win the Kentucky Derby at his home track in his home town would be quite remarkable. Dale is always man. I appreciate the visit and thanks thanks for spending a few minutes. I know you got a lot of things to get to today so I'll let you

"Brought brought to you by berry. Okay thank god okay. I'm glad out out lubrication cry god. That's off my chest. Katie was so passionate. I guess i'm gonna have to go home and watch that or like. Go over the man's house and watch that tonight. Yes is please. Oh girl you just do that episode one and just see like your tone okay if you like it looking at a like that so they're not mad about it. You are noisy gnavor avenue mad about it <hes> okay. We'll segue from that. <hes> i guess katy what's going on with like what's your what's what's going on next with you. You just release that big course so i'm going to <hes> update. I have a cardiac nurse. Crash course in neuro. Nurse crash courses our courses for someone who just got hired into those units if you wanted to give. Could you crash course. I'd be happy to work on so that's like on my list like <unk>. You know so but i did just very excited. I got a a three models of the heart in the brain and stone and worrying to rerecord some <hes> content to put into that in an optimize those with like these amazing three d models so my antics kind of my marketing situated so that's another thing that's automated so i'm gonna do that for the next couple of months <hes> i do next year. I'm hoping to get a precept course out for people who precept race and instead of these like general adult theory very things but like how do you precept the no at all or the mousy one who won't say anything lineal the millennium. That's all i wanna talk about. That's when you could sell the corporations because they all want to criticize. The millennial sees people. Oh my gosh they just go on and on and on. I'm just like oh my god. Forbid brian court these corporations. They're said yes so that's what's going on. I'm gonna <hes> optimize due to start looking also at what what like hospitals nursing schools on boarding them with the the masterclass too so yeah <unk> going on and i want to do another season in my podcast yeah you had to just five. You're great hall. Thank you was yeah. I still have it. You just haven't done it episode for awhile. I i have it but you know it's been one of those things where podcasting doesn't make a lot of money unless you hadn't and not even podcasting some acuity money unless you have ads austria and i it shows a labor of love for me to create this podcast right like i'm putting my money yes you put in money and time and this is a lot of time and i got to the point where it's like okay. I could spend like eight hours a day for like a couple will probably a month or two to get this done <hes> and make absolutely nothing for my time or i could make some money doing something else in spent time with my family obviously only gonna push the podcast back to when i have some more passive streams of revenue going they have it. I don't blame you. People complain about ads but you know it's like the nature of the beast. Every good podcast that i listen to online has ads because it has is to pay for itself somehow does or you don't. You're not compensate now. We're not consumer. Reports here like there's no assing there's for those of you don't know they're no ads in consumers reports. There's repeating podcast. Don't have ads and it's because you you don't you you don't earn any money for for your time and i don't think a lot of people realize that like it takes a lot of time to get three people who live in three areas of the country together like anytime you have a podcast with guests. There's a lot of coordination russian and pre planning the content hosting the content publishing the content of the time editing god knows we love other yeah we do this last. It's expensive and it takes time and if you're not like like being compensated for that time it's like going to a <unk> shift for free like who's couldn't do that. Yes so right. You're so right. Katie does so thanks for free the top about failing. You're worth she. She knows that you're worth is worth exactly exactly oh my gosh well. You're so sweet. Thank you so much for dealing alien with all of our technical issues today and everything and we'll all my god. You're looking at here for nominal. E. I. in Boston on Monday are you okay with wearing the new helmet this season yeah it's kind of you know they they kind of spoke to me last year about it I mean with a couple different ones and I don't really love one that a man but the I don't really have much of a choice on this trend do the best I can to work with that you can get used to the same helmet for a long time and I did that my last helmet for the last four super bowls you know so it's pretty great helmet for me and I hated that put it on the shelf Paul yeah that was kind of what they had to do so dealing with the number I don't work in the house unlike Tom Brady Antonio brown hasn't found a helmet to his liking he's been fighting to keep wearing the old one the NFL said no and an arbitrator ruled against him as well on Monday brown is reportedly looking into whether you can find a version of his preferred style helmet this version that's less than a decade old deceived that would be acceptable but it's not clear that even if he could find one but if you get it certified because the technology is outdated that says the S. peons to find a balance the crux of this issue it's a two part problem so let's start with the Knox the certification that's the national operating committee on standards for athletic equipment they certify all types of equipment NFL helmets collegiate helmets shin guards lacrosse helmets if they don't certify a piece of equipment to meet a certain safety standards it's not allowed in the field of play so the NFL isn't even going to include in testing a helmet that is not not see certified and that is the case with then turn around time it so that's one thing right there but let's look at the helmet safety testing a collaborative effort between the league and the NFL Players Association and what they've done is they've brought in an independent lab in Canada that has looks at impact testing to evaluate the safety of various NFL helmets not just linear testing but acceleration all and rotation on that's based on the type of impacts we actually see in an NFL game and that is how the safety rating was brought about that color coded chart with the green helmets in the dark green performing the best on down to the yellow now what's interesting is they also looked at on field actual injuries every helmet is ID tag so when they look at how the helmet has performed on a player who suffered a head injury what they found is the same helmets that did not perform well in the laboratory testing also did not perform well relative to actual on field injury so when you're getting that dual input you can see why those helmets are performing in essentially read on one axis and read on the other axis and those of the prohibited helmets now this is been in place for over a year the fresh data was issued in twenty eighteen these posters were put in every NFL locker room equipment managers medical staff were all informed about it to help bring players along and we have seen players who wore the same moment like Adrian Rogers make the switch knowing it would be mandated this year so is there room in some ways given all that if I am Antonio brown on making the argument like I just made that Hey my line of sites impacted that also could affect my safety that could affect how I run routes to my job is there room in this to make a player an exception to the rule I don't think so because again the exception is the slippery slope and what I will also say is that there is now a form of a helmet that is introduced that is three D. printed and custom fit to that player's anatomy of their head you could work with the company to get a helmet that will fit only your head and make any modifications necessary so I think had he been working towards that end and then found it unsuitable you might have a better case but again no planning and just trying to bring in your old helmet at this stage I don't think that's going to be a successful argument and Tonio brown was acquired by Oakland in a trade from Pittsburgh you Pronto probably landed in new contract with the raiders what hasn't been so prompt is his arrival was like the light bill one from boulder if you think you're hitting because you're wearing women's underwear you are okay that's the way this works okay right so if he thinks the helmet helps him that I understand why you want to fight that here's the issue that I have read and nobody seems to be talking about this he's not there there's no reason for him to not be in camp over the helmet because they he can't play anyway right because of the sore feet because of the stuff he had to do with the bride the frost bite on his skin the bigger issue is not that he's fighting over the helmet of people think he's nuts over that the bigger issue it is not with his team doing everything you can to acclimate that by far is the issue it's not the frost bite in the feet which will take care of themselves whatever resealed it's not the helmet because he's not going to play and be wearing that helmet because he can't practice with the feet Kirk it's the fact that he is gone AWOL from his team and no one seems to be talking about that part of our Trey Wingo on goal is to win go and there's certainly a lot of football talk once these players get on the field once we get through camp once the regular season is upon us there will be a lot of focus and there's a focus on fantasy football today is American all day long ESPN ESPN two sports center all night ESPN radio talk for straight talk brought to you by straight talk wireless the NC double a doing a little backpedaling amending it certification process for agents representing basketball players who are deciding whether or not to stay in school as they explore the NBA draft it will no longer be required to have a bachelor's degree instead agents that don't have a bachelor's will have to be in good standing with the national basketball Players Association the guys PTI well I see it as a victory but I see it as a victory for for good reason at this point there's absolutely no reason where to be an agent in the NBA you have to have a college degree I mean you have to be certified but you don't have to have a college degree and I felt then I feel now that there's an elitist quality to this and that not only that you could walk down the road and you could get to where you would say this might be race based and I don't think you want to have either of those things in play it's like it's not made school which falls not being yes to get to give you an open heart surgical procedure thanks a lot so it it it seems to me aimed directly at him and for reasons of loneliness you don't people maybe maybe they don't like they don't want to succeed in the succeeding very well I am completely in with the new ruling are you I don't think I would have been I'm gonna say something that most shows wouldn't say you you persuaded me your reasoning last week you were very precise I tell you look I told you the time I was on a seventy thirty right now sort of seventy percent with Chris I'm with rich fall in that camp and that reasoning and I know some of me was reserves that way to me you know I'm thinking about my own wife who I would choose to do certain things mean the qualifications those people might represent all of any color or ethnicity now you persuaded me that the slippery slope is very slippery all right so you and rich Paul convinced me wait a minute this is not you're not supposed to try and use that sentence to qualified people for this particular allegation that yeah you win me over this is a victory the NC double a bail twenty because they knew they were wrong yeah the criticism aimed at them hit them square between the eyes and they said oh my god we screw this up will they will never say that public the NC double a will still require agents representing players who might return to school to have certification from the NBA Players Association for a minimum of three consecutive years earlier on Freddie infant Simmons I can't believe the NC double a did something right when people call them out on it normally when you do that to the NC double a they build their trenches and they're made out of concrete they makes it nobody's going to tell the NC double a what to do what that whole rich Paul rule in which you need to have a bachelor's degree to be certified as aids among the three criteria that they put out there on Monday they amended it any age the knowledge to represent because played in the NBA draft by saying then aged does not have to have a bachelor's degree they decided to a man that whole thing now rich Paul put out an op ed on the on the F..

"And he did. And he got like other staring at him. It's not really fair. You're the dude who was on the mound should have known. It's still funny, though, because you gotta be nine ten twelve guys around. Nobody knew what the home plate. Empire was pretty generous for both too. I agree. I know the one that he's talking about because he came in waist high, and it should have been a strike in it in call it and he got really perturbed than they were talking about it. How annoyed was on the mound that how he had a calmed, down roll bliss, or bliss who stepped out of the box and Keith was making a big deal out of it and all that other stuff. And but then Jacob got got got got his act together and everything was your did speaking of that. I have no life. I was watching the other day. A rerun of the Tom Seaver no hitter from nineteen seventy six I don't ask why you know, the biggest difference with baseball is now is that stepping out of the batter's box watching that gave us an hour and a half because the guys don't move. They just stand there pitch goes back. Seaver takes. It throws pitch. It's amazing. What the difference the game? They had to readjust their batting gloves. They got back then they didn't now they do every day. I mean, you know, they don't all sorts of stuff. What about the commercial link to then? I mean we run the game. Right. The game on the computer on the YouTube was an hour and thirty six minutes with commercials cut out. So you have to tack on whatever that would, but it's still not more than what to twenty fifteen. Yeah. So she's Jerry is another guy in New Jersey. That's advocating violence. Let's go to Mark and Bloomfield Mark, what's happening. Are you getting are you a millennial, of course, you got to come inside make you gotta make them uncomfortable. You don't wanna know how can you just sit there gonna hit another five ten home run. Yeah. That's kind of a home run, though. It's kind of exciting. His dad is is really opposed. Dan, from garter at okay, you gotta do. Yeah. Well, I I'm not Jerry. I don't advocate violence with twelve year olds whose advocating violence, fourteen number one number two, who's who advocated violence curious. What point did you did? I have a K violence guide. I'm listening to you. Told your son to throw inside. Okay. And then what happened to which is the kid gets hit all the time. I'm not telling him to throw in hit him. I don't want anybody to get hit. But you're kind of giving the wink, wink, wattle doodle again. You put words in my mouth, I'm gonna go Evan Roberts on your 'Second. Tell your son throw inside. I told him to throw on the inside corner. Yeah. What, what are we talking about that led us up to that discussion? You can't let them be that comfortable in the Battersby. And they wanted to s ball, and you wanted them to hit glacier, tourists know you wanna make it more. The whole point is they make it hit him in the Phil. Yes. At the major league level. Yes. So you are pitching is to actually hit spots and move the ball around. I believe me. I pitched I know I know clearly when you pitch. You just threw strikes right down the middle of the plate. Whatever happened happened. Because you hit inside corners, so long ago. Boomer throws it guys in softball games. Yes. And fast pitches them. Yeah. I mean, let's get real. There was a guy who hit a home run. Forget which game it was. And the next time he came up. You brush true. You did. Yeah. Yeah. See so you throw inside. Of course I do. I'm just saying I'm talking about your take on things. You said perfect. You must not. I'm just saying you want to hit on her. You want them to hit Kleber tourists today and don't give them to the plate. Did you ask the question? I didn't throw it. Kleber Tournus today, if I did not say, if I was the Orioles pitching coach hide high manager pitching coach, who knows who that is. If I was the Orioles manager hide, I would say throat by and hit him, I would guess. That's a major league level I would tell them throw inside. And if you hit him in the failure of the fi, so be it by would. Ball out hit him. I don't want the ball up. I don't wanna hear shoulder head. I want an inside pitch near as by so have I put words in Jerry's mouth you have. Well, you have, I think it was a little bit of, of confusion. I think that you were talking about the major league level. Jerry thought you were talking about the fourteen that's where the Nordic nut sack. That's how that happened was about go f yourself, right? I was thinking that. I mean I'm not I don't love that. If a guy's owning you to the hate him because he's owning you. I don't love that, but yeah. Make them uncomfortable shore throw inside brush and back, but they eat them just because he's been good. I always love song. I'm like this if the guy's now flipping the bad he's not taking, you know, a three minute stroll around the bases and he's not doing something stupid to, you know, to show me up as a pitcher. Then I get it. I eat all if that that's happening. Then I'm definitely thrown at the guy inside. At least, of course establishing the inside corner today. Every time he comes up, especially Kleber Torres. What's the first thing you think he's got to be humble? I mean this guy is not a jerk taking out of the equation. I'm thinking about your you're getting embarrassed nightly. We're mocking this team on a daily basis. At some point, you've got to go a stab wish some spot. That's not. And, you know, establish his, his inside the inside corner. But you said hit him in the fine. If you hit him in the Feis OB, I don't want the ball anywhere near the upper part of his body, nothing like that. But I want you to stab the inside part of the plate back off a little good, if he gets hit by if that happens. So be it time but back and like that I don't like the back we start getting up there. No. Is there like would you like him to throw a ninety seven mile an hour fastball? And his sire has curb ball pitched. I don't remember. All five fingers little change. I have no idea. Yes, you were drilling was asking, David Cone the other day, like if they were having Olympics and spin rates and all that other crap when you pitch would you be sensitive to that would use that he said, yes, I said, I probably would be doing the same thing that he would be doing, but I don't remember what we did. Boomer come on. You know exactly what you did. You were drilling guy, you were buzzing Illinois. Were you knowing you and then you get, like a high school, and like seventeen years old at the testosterone flowing through, you were probably, I mean, you probably hit more guys, and you struck out, and then you probably kicking dirt on them on them names. Both of you guys played sports in high school. So I do think that you gotta have some understandable. It's like, but I do think that the further you have gotten away from that the more narping you've become and you and you blow these things completely portion proportion. Exactly. I think that you were hitting. He is not you. I think you were I think you were hitting guys. And I think he took pride in that. And you you. Yeah. You were intimidating. I told you I hit five guys in a row ones, because that was the end of my arm angle. They couldn't throw it back from right at your position to the pitcher against the Hebrew home for God's sake. Wasn't the Hebrew home game? Yeah. It was. That was our first game with you know, wasn't. It was more Hamilton was the first game pulled my hamstring. Trimmers base took a hit and run down. I behold this. Hamstrung. Yep. Fort Hamilton, I'm telling you right because you were you were limping around and why why he had to be catching. That's right. That's right. It'd be catcher the next game. And that's why he could not for some reason just control back to the high end. Right and wide. It's a mental block. There you go. It's the surprise at in oblique that day. You also didn't move the ball very much. I'd have to admit you could help me out on a couple of those. I agree with that, too. He wanted it right at his chest. And then. Look, if I was going to get a gold glove, it was going to, because I was feeling my position because I was receiving a throwback from the catcher. I can't watch these highlights. I can't do this as me. This is the hamstring right there. Oh, it's like a sniper. This is a compliment your normal then. Yeah, I know. I know. And you're not anymore. It's really really something. Yep. That's right. Sixty pounds ago..

"And they didn't bring him up even though he was just tearing up the miners and they had nothing to play for. It's like classic bring this guy up get him some reps, but they didn't bring him up because of the whole fucking service time thing, and now they probably won't bring them up till may. So then they'll get keep them for the extra after that. So this this is dumb just. The Yankees did with, you know, try to Kleber Torres and the Red Sox did with Bogart's to the same thing. Everybody. Does it not you need to to the all the the White Sox? But it's just weird that that's the rule. I can basketball. You know, you play one game your rookie. That's your one you play two games second year that was your to. I don't know why baseball doesn't do that. The service type thing is Atta like the nineteen twenties. It's very strange this off season is you can definitely see they're heading towards. So if not a work stoppage than certainly some some labor strive, let's put it that way. Because even on Twitter like baseball players themselves are reacting saying like what the hell's going on here. When mature, you know, it's January twenty second Machado and Harper having signed yet. Can you imagine? If this was the NBA, and you're to signature, you know, like this year would be against Kevin Durant. And who's the other signature Frigel? Let's say quite Thomson. And it was just. It was like octa August twenty nine and there is like no movement on the Katie sweepstakes. It just makes no sense there. Whether they're colluding or whether they just finally realized. That that there's no reason to rush, but I the part I don't get why are the tickets still so expensive. Why do all these teams have to have two hundred fifty million dollars payrolls when we're clearly heading toward this world where the TV rights are just where most of the money's gonna come from the attendance. They're still, you know, they still have the eighty one games year. It's still going to be a cash cow to some degree. But I just feel like attendance is going to matter less and less every year. How many games did you go to Lester? Well, I didn't go to any blessed. But that was inconceivable twenty years ago, you younger twenty years ago, but true kids, and whatever, but everyone's got nicer TV's. Now, you just hang out and watch the Red Sox at home or the Yankees are whoever. Nobody wants to go to eighty one games bureau. Doesn't cost me. Fifteen bucks a clip in my house in the parking and everything like, it's not worth it. The park. Right. It's ridiculous. So they have to think about how how they make the tickets more accessible first. That's why everybody's just on the secondary market. Now, just cherry picking whatever the best seats were. But it I just don't I can't wrap my head around that part the economics of it that were so built on. We'll we'll Jack up like the ankles will Jack up our tickets and that'll help like the you watch the Yankee game in may in news just empty seat got home plate, but they don't care because it's all season ticket sales behind home plate and everything. They don't care that it looks ridiculous. But at some point. Nobody at the game. And it's you know, the sterile corporate environment where nobody's really into it. So at some point why have season tickets for the when you can just buy online. True. Just jump in world man, different world different times. And now the Yankees are the Atkinson Royal so congrats. I got that going for me Donald Trump just quickly government shutdown. That's gone. Well. This point there. We he's become increasingly erratic. And I I wanna flip this the other way, we have it was it real or even know what's real or fake these days. But I think it was a real thing where he was he had a tweet touting curt schilling's hall of fame. Candidacy was that a real thing that happened over the weekend? Or did I? I think he had a Twitter thing about how he always came up big and big games, and he should be in the hall of fame. He really is like a sports radio call-in guy. States like worrying about curt schilling's hall of fame candidacy that might have been a better career paths..

"In history. While Kylie has Ramirez and Linder ranked as the number one and number two players in baseball in trade value. I haven't gone back and looked at previous trade value series to see if that has happened before, but I'm going to guess it has not that one team has the two top guys by trade value. I think both of those guys are under team control for what three more years. I think after this season and neither the makes a ton of money and they're both among the very best players in the game. So to have those two guys in Kylie also has Corey kluber as the number twelve trade value guy on this list. So the Indians have number one number two, n number twelve. And if you look at the other guys at the top of the list, you've the Yankees with Aaron, judge. DJ at number three and Luis Severino at number ten you have as well the Astros with Alex bregman at number seven and Carlos Correa at number five. So the Astros have to the very top guys than if you wanna look at the Braves, they have number nine FREDDY Freeman as well as number fifteen as y'all bees, and number seventeen. Ronald kunia and kind of works out that way. If you want to mention the Yankees also have number twenty Kleber Torres. So you have the top teams at baseball with the top trade value guys in baseball, which leads one to believe that these teams are going to be good for a long time because for the most part to have a top trade value guy, he has to be under team control and locked up for quite a while. The exception, I suppose is Mike trout who has just two years remaining on his deal and makes more than thirty million in each of those years. And yet is still number four on the. Trade value rakings just because he's Mike trout. For the most part, though these guys are preoccupation and arbitration guys who are signed long-term..

"Winner justify they said it was impossible for three year old colt to win the kentucky derby without racing as a two year old no horse had done it since apollo and that was in eighteen eighty two but nobody got that memo to trainer bob baffert his precocious colt justify who justified the hype around him by outrunning nineteen horses at a muddy track to win kentucky derby one forty four churchill down saturday justify defeated good magic by two and a half lakes doubts on to baltimore for the preakness may nineteenth where justifiable try to stretch his unbeaten streak the five in pursuit of the triple crown at the kentucky derby rick bozic the celtics pulled within one win of reaching the eastern conference finals for the second straight season as they got past the seventy sixers one a one ninety eight in overtime to take a commanding three to nothing lead in their nba series i'm barbara kusak bloomberg sports update a tough nine offensively for the mets who were held off the scoreboard by the rockies or to nothing winners at city field a fifth consecutive defeat in the third time in the last four games that they've been blight stephen matt skiba firstinning homer to nolan our an auto the only on the rockies would need he went six and falls to one in three and showed some promise according to manager mickey callaway encouraging and not just the results it was more you know what he was doing in between pitches that was really noticeable to me thought he did a really good job of that inbetween pitcher routine he was working on you know he didn't get to rattled there wasn't a ton to get roundabout but you know he really did a good job of that tempo in between pitches and that'll be a big key for him moving forward one seven and got the victory over cleveland to improve to fourteen in one of their last fifteen six innings of two on ball for sonny gray strikeout seventy two and two x needed all of one hit to take the lead when they scored four times in the fifth trevor bauer retired thirteen zero before issuing walks to neil walker and miguel and do har kleber torres single to load the.

"The big news now on a yankee front is that mr torres your top prospect that you acquired from chicago two years ago in that chapman shade he's now ready to rock and roll he will be called up for sunday's game i would fully expect him to be in the lineup and here's what i want to see out of the yankees for the next couple of weeks let's see what a lineup books like with kleber torres that second and mcgill and do horrid third day in and day out and if that means they'll walkers doc in playing time tough if that means you know to raise is not going to get five or six days a week so be it to raise his better off when he's playing one or two days a week that's what he's gonna that's where he's really gonna help this yankee team torres has mastered the art across the board in every level he's passed the test now he gets the chance to show his talents wearing those yankee pinstripes engaged matter and we've been screaming and yelling about the yankees meaning a spark this team that is now a game over five hundred well they're going to get this far one of the top prospects in baseball eight seven seven three seven sixty six sixty six let's head to staten island new york frank chances frank you're on the fan jj how you big yankee fan and more find fan of you by frankie what's going on i agree with almost everything you said except about sanchez at the catcher i would not say he's a great defensive catcher i would say that the average defensive catcher because you're all does a bad job blocking the balls that's fine you can argue that he calls the band game i would disagree and if we're going to judge throwing on strap major league baseball gary sanchez behind the plate has wanted benadryl arms you're gonna find what he's thrown out gets for pass boils running out but i mean listen knee last couple of games to pass balls have become an issue but you know a frank eighty searching overwhelming advantage to have a catcher that's gonna hit the way to gary sanchez does and if you're gonna have some punch and judy hitter playing every day you're going to see.

"But the astros at least the way it was reported and brian cashman is never named names nor is he going to name names basically came out and said yeah they were asking for too much we were willing to make the deal for the young man but we add an evaluation of him they had an evaluation of our prospects we just couldn't make the ends meet that we thought they were asking too much in exchange for a guy like call well they eventually pulled the trigger the pirates did and sent him to the astros they liked the astros prospects that were put on the table more than yankee prospects the report on the table these things happen i would have liked to see the yankees get call i'd say that was smart of them to have entrance and call i didn't know the particulars a deal i wouldn't have given up kleber torres to get garrett cole if that was the piece that had to go in dealed and i got no problem with brian catherine going well we're not gonna go that far i thought the astros gave up good prospects but not to the level of the yankee top prospects so i thought pittsburgh compromised a little bit they wanted to move call they did they moved them to houston so far so good for the astros because the guy's been dominant he's got the most strikeouts in his first three starts of any pitcher the change teams in season in history of baseball.

"Yes he's a shortstop yes he's a good fielding shortstop no he was never at least for the scouts that i've seen him play in the minor leagues oh my god drop your tone to the floor fielding shortstop that he had to play shortstop the rest of his life that's why the yankees ready willing and able to move him to either second or third base because he could play short but he wasn't so great at short that you knew that eventually they were going to move gregoria that spot if gregorious is not playing shortstop for the yankees next year it will be because the yankees signed manny machado not because they decided to put kleber tourism shortstop and moved didi gregorius dirt based i don't think they'll do it with that manny they might if manny is truly married to the shortstop and if you want me that's where you're going to play me i didn't gregorious would be open to moving over third base side the he'd be happy about it but i think he'd be willing to do it if it was what everybody was best for the team that's the way the only the only way i think that dd gets moved off of shortstop nine for labor but maybe for machado frazier you gotta get healthy i i can't say what frazier is tell me what he tell me when he's healthy tell me what he's saying and i'll decide whether he someone i wanna keep beer i wanna try and incorporate wanna get into the lineup i wanna use trade chip first things i got to see him play enough thanks again jodi good call appreciate checking in dan from connecticut's up on the fan man what's going on i was thinking about one of the guys he's a great defensive player we all know that became really hit very well and i liked when nima was up more than a nimmo i should say then lagaras coming off the bench so what if this goes down or bruce but rather have won the guards up there who's really with defense but can't hit or have brandon nimmo up there who can't play defense and he could hit a little bit better well or if either if either jet corner every corner outfielders bruce or this went under table is for.
