"Is the lightbulb number 7 is armor number 6 is the Internet. Number 5, penicillin. That was a good one. Number four, the plow, number three, sewers, the number two, most important invention of all time, the refrigerator, and the number one most important adventure, I'm sorry. The number one most important invention of all time is frozen pizza. Frozen pizza. No, I'm only kidding. What do you think it is? It's pretty easy. Electricity. The wheel. Oh, the wheel. Yeah, you know, it's funny because the wheel isn't mentioned, but you're thinking. Mobile phones? Yeah. You know, electricity is not even in the top ten, but you couldn't have a lightbulb without electricity. So it got crazy. The guy who invented the wheel, he did it, and then somebody else go. I could have done that. Anybody could have done that. For sure. Yeah. I know. Yeah, that's right. I think most of them are, I don't know why electricity isn't in there. I don't know why armor. Well, I guess if there's somebody coming after me with a battle axe, I guess I would want armor to be there right away. If you had to give up one of your modern conveniences, which one do you think you could live without? And I do mean forever. Like it's gone. It's out of here. Which one do you think you could do with that? Well, it's not going to be electricity, it's not going to be my car. Why wasn't it? Why was in the car in there? The car is a great invention. It's not going to be AC. It's not going to be that. I know that you're especially younger people are going to be saying, oh, that's the last one. It would be number 6 the Internet. I'd rather have AC and a toilet. But not the Internet. And the Internet, yeah. How about you? I agree with that. And I think the reason that we can say that is because we know what it's like to live without the Internet. And it makes life a lot easier. Oh my God. To have the Internet and be in school is amazing. It just does, there's so many things about the Internet that make your life simpler, but we know that it's possible to live without it. So it's easier for us to say, oh yeah, you can give me my plumbing in my AC and you can take the Internet. What was number ten again? Coffee. You know, you know as much as I love coffee, that would probably be the one because you keep the Internet and give up coffee. I know it's tough. But I would. Yeah, yeah, I think I would. You know what's strange? I mean, one of the first things man did when he walked out of the cave is to figure out how to make beer. And that's not on there. There's nothing on there that's alcoholic with the top ten. Well, it's probably like number 12 or something. I mean, I'm sure it's in the top. So you're brewing is in the top. So whatever. Let me ask you, it's the Internet or wine. What's it going to be? The Internet. You know, I'd rather keep my wine and have no Internet than keep my wine and go on the Internet as I have sometimes been called. I haven't done it in a long time, but isn't it awful if you've had a couple and you go, you know, so and so text me, I didn't like the way that sounded. I think I'm going to reply to that. No, no, don't do it. Never never do that. George Clooney said once. He said, I don't text period. And he said, the reason I don't text is, I drink wine at night. And I got a lot of things to say to movie studio executives. And I don't need to be doing that. I don't know why I always remember that. It's true though. I don't want to give up wine. I just don't want to give it up. I really don't want to give up caffeine either. I don't want to give up the Internet, but I guess if I had to pick, I could give up, I guess I could give up coffee before I gave up wine or the Internet. Yeah. Yeah, I would give up, I would give coffee first and then the Internet, I think. Everything else you have to have. I mean, what are you going to have no refrigeration? You're going to have no cars. The wheel, you're not going to deal with the wheel. You've got to have a plow. Maybe you're not plowing. As a matter of fact, I'm sure you're not plowing. But somebody's plowing. Right? My husband likes it. My husband likes to tell me how low maintenance he is and how unlike the rest of us, he could live off the land and go back to the 1700s or whatever. But this is the same man who went a storm knocked out our cable and Wi-Fi. Marched into the room and demanded to know when the TV was coming. And I was like, hey Kit Carson. Watch go out and watch the birds migrate or whatever. At least I don't pretend that I can't live without my technology. It's bobbing sherry. You know, when I first read this thing that I read online, it was from a study of physical study of how people carry themselves. And it says, if you are wealthy, you will walk two inches taller than somebody who is really struggling in life. And I saw that, and I went, well, you know, that's two inches is quite a bit, and then I thought of somebody that I knew, who is just have the hardest life, a lot of it he brought on himself. He's a nice person, but he's just never had any confidence he won't look you in the eye. He's embarrassed about himself, you know, I've encouraged him to get help. He's gotten a little bit of help. But he walks with his head down. He's got the Velcro chin and looking always down. And whenever I'm with him, I stand up taller because I don't want to appear that way. And I just thought about him and I think it is true. And if you think about somebody who has a fair amount of resources as wealthy, perhaps, but was successful, you think of someone like that as being, you know, very tall in the saddle, just very erect. I can see how that comes to play. Maybe less exhausting. I mean, you said this was about wealth, right? The more money you have, you're more likely to walk tall. Yeah, well, because if you're super wealthy, you don't earn your living with your back. You know when you're not as physically, you may be mentally tired from earning your living, but what are the chances that you're stooped over working with your body? Yeah, but there's a difference between stooped over because you've been carrying bricks and someone who is just, I don't know, just kind of depressed all the time and always looking down. The shoulders droop and you just look shorter than you are, and less in command. So if you're a millennial, a Gen Z, you're going in, heads up, you know, just throw your shoulders back, just think marines, right? They got.

It seems like wants to do something else. I just wanna do radio every day and keep people company where they are in an entertaining. "Was where I first discovered Talk radio. With the Skip signal coming in tow the desert Southwest from places like Denver, San Antonio, Even Los Angeles. Sometimes I got lucky. Was immediately hooked on this medium. 25 years later. More so than ever before. I'm in love with talk radio every single day. Back my most formative adult years. Came after I joined Rush. And his team there in the studio. The very studio. That team is working in This very day. I joined rush as a screener. Was the guy who answered the phones so Many of you may have already heard me. But you didn't know who I Woz and I certainly heard all of you. I was a snugly. Although technically most notably the only snidely I mean, the reality is both snored. Lee is the only snugly he is the gold standard. He was the one who helped blaze this trail. Rush would refer to me as Mr Winter ball. That's winter ble. It's like terrible, but I'm not that bad. It's winter ble is how you spell my last name and during that journey when I started at the show. 1999 I got to work with the legends on this program. The names you know so well. May mon. Oh, snugly. Cookie and cocoa. And of course, the legendary HR Kit Carson, the official chief of staff for Rush Limbaugh, who we lost way too soon. Now during my run 1999 to 2006, which is when I left the show to kind of strike out on my own to go back out West to go out to California to see what would happen. Before I did all that I got married. Rush announced the birth of my two kids, My son and my daughter. I still get goose bumps thinking about getting to do this today. Let's be honest. You're feeling a little bummed out about things politically, socially culturally, right? You're a little worried. They're a little concerned. You're thinking. What's this fight going to be like? Where's it going to go? What's going to happen? Well. Understand where we're going is to understand where we've been. No, I I get it. I get it. Nobody wants to hear the substitute teacher. Nobody wants to hear the alumni from the from the program there behind the mike. But look, Rush takes time off every year at this time from Christmas. The new years. This is a normal winter vacation. I get it. There are challenges and things like that that Russia's fighting, But here's the deal. This is a regularly scheduled vacation. I expect he's going to be back next week. And in between now and three o'clock eastern time. I'm going to keep you company, but I mentioned talk radio being special. Talk radio is special. Because rush Makes it special. Look the reason why progressives and the elites Dis it hate it. Try to copy it or ignore it. Minimize it, You name it. The reason why they do it. Is because they want you to feel isolated. They want me to feel isolated. You probably sat at home over the weekend. And you thought to yourself Christmas was awesome. New Year's is going to be great I can't get I cannot wait to get to 2021. But we've got these elections with these two Georgia Senate elections taking place there in Georgia, and it feels like the very soul the very future. The very stakes of our republic. Are in the balance. Truth be told. I went down to Georgia over the weekend. I'll give you details on that across the program, but You may feel a little bit uncertain. But you shouldn't be This is Rush Limbaugh show. Rush Limbaugh is the eternal optimist. He's the modern Russia. He's the doctor of democracy. He built this The left hates talk radio because talk radio really is synonymous with what Rush has done and continues to do to this very day. He has impact. He has weight. But you know what he really has. That makes Everyone nuts that doesn't like this. He has the ability to relate to America. WHO? America To the people in the cities and the towns across this country that are often overlooked. Whether by the elites in Washington, D C or New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco Chicago. You're overlooked. You're not respected. You're dismissed His deplorables and people that they can smell inside the walmart. Right? We we know that routine. You see? Rush. Hold this. He was the first guy to really take phone calls not just from the big cities, but from America. Rush was a Trailblazer and is a Trailblazer to this very moment. He used to take e mails on CompuServe. CompuServe. I mean, techniques across the country just gave big thumbs ups because I referenced CompuServe. He did the Dido camp let you watch him in the studio. He first published a newsletter, The Limbo letter that actually mailed to your house. I know people good personal friends of mine. Have them all. That kind of loyalty. That kind of love that kind of respect. You can't create that. You can't create it like you're some wife of a Hollywood star, creating a new identity. Like suddenly you're from Spain. No, no, no, You can't do that. That's the kind of thing that happens organically. That's lightning in a bottle. I got to see that lightning Up close and personal. See what we are is a country today in 2020. So many ways. Rush is the.
