Urgency Behind Nevada's New Bill That Expands Mail-in Voting
"News the Nevada Senate approved a bill Sunday to implement a majority mail in election in November. In their argument Senate Democrats asserted that the measure assembly bill four was needed due to concerns over the Chinese corona virus they cited long lines at the pulse. And close contact with others. The measure which was passed with a thirteen eight vote was not supported by any of the Republican members. Well, that's good that the Republicans Nevada still have a backbone president trump then promptly got Nevada to trend on twitter. He said this in an illegal late night coup Nevada's clubhouse governor. Made it impossible for Republicans to win the state president trump wrote on twitter. Post Office could never handle the traffic of male in votes without preparation using Cova distill the state see you in court. The president is one hundred percent right on this. If we allow mandatory mail in voting to happen unchallenged, we are headed for the biggest disaster of an election in our lifetime. There is a reason why the Democrats want mail in voting it is ripe for fraud. People might say, well, Charlie what about absentee voting that is always a small sliver of the amount of votes in the absentee ballots are always the majority of the voter fraud claims as they are. In some states, absentee ballots are anywhere between five to ten percent. Sometimes, there is lows two percent in states like Oregon, which is complete and Total Democrat control. The only way to vote you cannot show up on election day in Oregon. It is all vote by mail and it starts in early October leading up to election day. Because of this Democrats US organizing tactics to be able to do a thing called ballot harvesting ballot harvesting is how in Orange County California Republicans wants controlled five five US congressional seats in Orange County after the last midterm election. Republicans lost all five. Now Republicans were leading some of those seats such as young Kim on election night. But then all of a sudden new ballots were found. Mail in ballots were discovered. And the Republican candidates. Fell behind and behind and eventually lost the race. The way that voting should work is through independent certification with election judges in decentralized fashion to have the most people centered citizen-focused way of voting. What do I mean by that? It means that when you have a local precinct that is in charge of the election for that one precinct, not the post office of the Postal Service you think called election judges, those election judges. Are Bound by the law and they usually represent both political parties Republican. Democrat, to make sure that there's no funny business now, it's not a perfect system voter fraud absolutely exists but a vast majority of voter fraud is almost always voter registration fraud and ballot fraud with absentee voting. So, if we admit that the Democrats are pushing for mail and voting harder than anything they've pushed for in recent memory, the question should be why. They say it safety. Mean that's such nonsense. Worried about people gathering. Then shouldn't they cancel? The local marijuana dispensary or the casinos in Nevada. In Nevada, you are able to go to Caesar's palace in Nevada, you're able to go to the Venetian in Nevada, you can go to a local restaurant. and. They'd say that's perfectly fine if you wear a mask and socially distance. But it's not okay to be able to go to a local polling place. It's not okay to be able to wait six

Dr Maria Van Kerkhove talks about WHO's response to Covid-19
"Thursday, marking six months since the World Health Organization declared the Corona virus a public health emergency of international concern. Thursday, also marking the fourth consecutive day, the U. S reported more than 1000 related deaths, bringing the nationwide death pull closer to 150,000. The World Health Organization's Dr Maria van Kirk off on the agency's response that's been a target of blame. For the Trump administration. Me and we will Where is the doctor? I think we can characterize the response globally as mixed. I think we can weaken very strongly show that countries that have acted Fast have acted aggressively have acted comprehensively and really, it's due to many countries who have had direct experience with something similar or a similar threat. Countries that had experience with Stars Movie won the first stars in 2003 countries that had direct experience with avian influenza. Those that have had experience with MERS those countries across Africa that I've had experience with other infectious diseases that they deal with so often really saw the threat really knew the thread of this We as an organization active immediately, we mobilize ourselves on on the day we were alerted to this and mobilize all of our forces Tio acts and to inform Our first guidance materials were out on the 10th 11th and 12th of January, which was the comprehensive package of how to find cases care for cases how to protect healthcare workers from infection, how to collect samples to be able to test Onda checklist to get countries ready. On DH, So there was a lot that was put out early, and we really saw countries that that took an aggressive approach Countries that took all of government comprehensive approach really see some success in the beginning of trying to combat this these tools over and over again. If they're implemented, they work. Taken suppressed transmission and they can save lives on and I think what we need to do going forward as look at how we could be more efficient and our response. How? How can everyone Be more efficient in the tools that we apply so that we don't have to go into large lock down again. Our so called lock down measures.

"Welcome to film spotting, we will get to our Nolan Review Awards. Later in the show, we might have an for those awards picked out by. Then we might not. We will share our awards for favourite supporting performance and lead performance from this retrospective of the work of Christopher Nolan will also share our picks for best Nolan moment in the overall best moment or seen after we have revisited all ten of Nolan's films and that will culminate with our Christopher Nolan rankings. The definitive Christopher ranking for each of us one to ten will there be some shifting Adam Gimme a tease. Shifts definitely from the last time, I posted a Nolan ranking on letterbox. There's been some movement Yep me too one I think you'll like I don't know if you'll like it enough, but you will like it I though the World War Two movie from Christopher Nolan that we didn't know we needed dunkirk. The enemy tanks stop. Why? Why waste precious tanks when they can pick from the. Barrel. Their full hundred thousand men only speech. Your position. Josh, coming into this rewatch was that done kirk is Christopher, Nolan's best film and there's at least one longtime listener and regular commentator who agrees with you that we are culminating this overview triumphantly with the filmmakers greatest achievement Adam Grossman in Vancouver says like many of us. I've completed my Christopher Nolan Review. Biggest takeaway hoover is a really hard were dispel. Well, second takeaway. I've decided dunkirk is Nolan's career highpoint while my heart loves interstellar the most good on you Adam and I. Hugely Admire. and. The Dark Knight for what they meant to Action Cinema and Superhero movies respectively dunkirk is his masterpiece got laid down for you tenant. I just don't know how anyone could argue that the legend of dunkirk could be told any better the setup and the first eight minutes alone from the falling paper from the sky to the distress. Cry of where's the bloody air force is a wonder of a short film. In itself, the lack of dialogue works perfectly for what this movie wants to achieve with. Hans. Zimmer's relentless scored doing all the audio work that's necessary among all the chaos. There are frequent moments of grace. Kenneth. Branagh face as Commander Bolton as the cavalry arrives in the form of the civilian vessels the empathy as Peter Tells Killian Murphy's PTSD soldier. The young George will be okay and no moment more than the shot. Be Okay and no more than a shot of Tom Hardy's planes silently gliding over the beaches of dunkirk knowing his job has been done. dunkirk is also uniquely Christopher Nolan Movie One where his signature use of time has never melded together better and more cohesively than it does in the final twenty minutes of this film while Dunkirk will understandably never be a wholly enjoyable or easy rewatch. It's one that gets richer and richer with repeat viewing. Now, Adam Mention Nolan signature use of time, and that is one aspect of dunkirk among others that certainly connects to his entire body of work. But there are other aspects that Mark Dunkirk is unique. It is only film that is based on historical events, which means it is inherently rooted in the past and yet I'd argue it is only film that truly feels present tense meeting there are no. Dead parents or wives or forsaken children or other tragic events haunting the air's barrier played by Tom. Hardy the Moles Army private Tommy fiene whitehead or for the most part the sees Mr Dawson played by Mark Rylance like all Nolan protagonist there's plenty of personal sacrifices on display but no guilt no sense of futility about toning past actions just the seemingly futile need to survive the current event that they. Are Tragically experiencing here's something else that argues unique about dunkirk as we every other commentator on Dolan's work is discussed in some form or fashion for all those dead parents and wives and foresaken children. There's nothing so emotional or borderline sentimental in any of his previous films as the climax of inception and yes, mileage may vary there which led to interstellar and not only mcconaghy's crushing breakdown watching twenty three. Years Worth of miss video messages from his family but the verbalize message love is the one thing we're capable of proceeding that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that even if we can't understand it, it's hard to imagine any character in previous Christopher Nolan movies saying something like that which led to Dunkirk am I crazy josh this is his most blatantly sentimental and even heart film. And if so is that what establishes Dunkirk as his best its balance of coldness the sober portrayal of the hell of war of life in the misguided choices, some men will make when facing death with warmth. In the compassionate inspiring choices some men will make to maintain a way of life. So a lot of subtleties in that question and you're onto something so you're not crazy I think I would distinguish. The word blatantly, I. Don't think this is blatantly emotional or moving, but I do think you're onto something in the fact that it is maybe his most heartwarming in where it ends up and let me kind of try to parse those. You're right as long as the Nolan Canon has convulsing McConnell. Interstellar is going to be his most blatantly emotional I mean you can't have a scene like that without registering that on it surface. That's his most emotional movie. But I will also say that I find Dunkirk to be his most emotionally affecting movie maybe even more. So than inception, which we about how I did find that very moving especially in the character of Mal. So yet dunkirk is really a unique thing even as it's working within the strands and trends that we have been tracing in Nolan's other films, I. Think the heartwarming aspect is probably a part of that. You've nailed it there in that it brings us to a place that. Is One of Constellation and I think it's earned because I think up until that point we have just been suffering alongside all of these other characters in so many ways and we've also been recognizing as the movie does that this is You know a an account of a military failure, a huge defeat and so for the movie to kind of offer, some sort of solace at the end of that I think is. In proportion and well

Charlie Kirk: Coronavirus stimulus
"And you have Schumer Pelosi. In Biden one hundred twenty five years, Charlie Kirk of failure, unmitigated failure, swap failure and I. Think of my kids. You met my son. He's twenty one years old. My daughter's eighteen and I would think about your America their America and when I say you know, live free or die, American, the world on the brink I'm not joking. And very specifically will be probably the biggest choice election by far in my lifetime, and maybe since eighteen sixty, and there's a lot at stake We can go through the issues if you want, but it's. It's there's there's not one issue we agree on that. I can think of for the most part yet, and you wrote this, and it just really sent chills down my spine. You wrote this book to sound an alarm as a warning. Warning to my fellow patriots about the left's undying commitment turn America into a land, our parents, founders and framers wouldn't recognize it. It's perfectly put, and that's the direction that they're headed on page twenty seven. You have a great part about how Ben Franklin says we ever republic. If you can keep it, can you talk more about how this truly is? A referendum election in some sense and the left is trying to do to our country. Well the the story about Franklin's interesting, because it's, it's the constitutional convention and somebody says he comes out one days, says, is it a monarchy republic republic? If you can keep it Reagan, I quote him off. When I give speeches, said Freedom Charlie and you know this is but one generation away from extinction. And you know when if you want understand if socialism is adopted if their stated goal is adopted America as we know, it then becomes unrecognizable look, I can understand psychologically. There's a component of maybe people that that have been indoctrinated in schools, and you're great at this because you're going in to hostile environments every day, and you're saying you know what there's another way of thinking here, so maybe the idea that people think Charlie that some things are oh, everything's going to be free and they're gonNA forgive my loans at I'll have a guaranteed government job guaranteed government food. How did obamacare workout now? We're GONNA have Medicare for all or or double down on the stupidity of Obamacare and guaranteed retirement. Guaranteed vacation sounds great. But simple math shows you that you'll never get there. And that's why in the Fourth Chapter of the book did this whole history of socialism which is a history of failure? The point is look at the issues. If if we're talking about law and order. They've cited in Portland in Seattle and new. York and Chicago with the radicals. Joe Biden his yet that I know of said one good thing about the ninety nine percent of cops protect and serve and put their lives on the line for us every day. You're right. Okay, so law and order taxes. He's pledging to raise your taxes through the roof. That will destroy the economy Then they're gonNA just add all the bureaucracy. The Donald Trump spent almost four years. Eliminating that'll be gone. That means nobody's GONNA WANNA DO Business. That's why the Biden Obama economy was so bad. Then you look at where now energy independent for the first time in seventy five years with a number, one producer of energy in the world will lose that for sure We'll shut down coal fracking. Oil Gas exploration production those tens of millions of jobs high paying jobs career jobs for people. Then it's about amnesty. Or the United Sanctuary states of America versus Border Security and law and order of never mind foreign policy. We haven't even touched that part yet, so. There's a lot at stake. If those plans stated plans are implemented. America will go down the past you know. The Trash bin of history as Reagan, said Freedom One generation away from extinction we will. It I shudder to think what will happen the three you and your children by kids, and and maybe one day grandkids. ARE READY FOR THAT And I love the framing, because as the founder said either we're GonNa live free and defendant right now, or we're gonNA. Have a country that you know. We don't WanNa live it, and that's really the framing. That is so important right now, and you talk about and I'm really pleased about this. Shawn because I think we have forgotten about the Russia hoax too quickly in. In the conservative movement, you have been the leader on this every night. You were covering it. You didn't let us forget you help. Muller Accountable, you had investigative journalism and it just seemed that an Oxana names, but other conservatives just kind of drifted away from like Oh. That's what happened happened. You have two chapters on this in the book. Can you talk about that? Yeah I mean I call it Charlie, the the biggest corruption abuse of power scandal in history and the Ukraine was oh. Okay, we failed with Muller after three years. We won't. We won't even bother with a special prosecutor not to I'm going backwards here but to get to Ukraine. You? Know they're talking about quid pro quos, but you have to ignore their presidential candidate on video saying you're not getting a billion US tax payer dollars unless you're fire. That prosecutor is named Shokhin. WHO's investigating my son Hunter who went on a and said? Do you have any experience in oil? No Gas, no energy, nope, any experience in Ukraine. Nope, why are you being paid millions? No, because you dad, so there was a quid pro quo and millions of dollars for the Biden I call crime family. That's exactly right, so. Listen and China's even worse. You get to this whole thing what we now know and I believe what's coming. It's like, and this is where the media's corrupt because. They're just the propaganda wing of all things democratic. Socialist. We now know and have all the evidence that we'd ever need is that they protected their favorite candidate. Hillary Clinton. For things you and I and everybody you know that follows you and you have a massive audience would. Literally never get away with. If you had subpoenaed emails Charlie Kirk and you decided to delete them, and you decided to acid. Wash your hard drive with something. I had never heard about bleeped bleach bit and bust up your devices with hammers. You'd go to jail. If you violated the espionage act, you'd go to jail. They protected her. Then the narrative began we now know began in August. We know crossfire hurricane representatives actually went to brief. President Trump General Flynn. Flynn on national security, but they were there to try and get information on trump and Russia, the most amazing part of this, because the Democrats and the media live for all these years is that they knew and they said and they wrote, and they even testified. There was never any evidence, but there was a dirty Russian dossier. And now we know even the New York Times acknowledged full full of Russian disinformation and that was used. And they were warned not to use it, but high ranking people abusing their power, wanting to take out candidate, trump, transition, team, trump, and then deep into the Presidency Donald Trump. They use the dirty Russian misinformation dossier to ruin Carter pages life and roomed his civil liberties and constitutional rights, but more importantly to spy on candidate trump, and then they had their insurance policy. The fact that the mob in the media ignores it is beyond comprehension. I have so I have two chapters. One is on the Russia hoax, and the other is on this whole impeachment witch hunt. And I want everybody in your audience to understand one thing here if I can get one point across. Yeah, they hate Donald Trump, but they hate us more. They think we are as Peter. Struck, said the smell by the way I probably shop at Walmart say money. Why not you have a woman I love Walmart I love COSCO's. I Love I love it all. And I've shopped there my whole life I mean people always stopped me when I'm in a grocery? So, what are you doing here? Shopping? Wa I like to eat a cracks me up. So but think about that. smelly Walmart Shoppers while irredeemable deplorables, wow! Bitter Americans as Obama said that WANNA cling to their God. I'm guilty their Second Amendment Rights Guilty Bibles and religion I'm guilty of that, too. But. It's contempt for your audience. It's contemporary my audience. It's because they knew better. And they will ling. This was an attempted coup. Now do I think there's going to be arrests and prosecutions I? Do spend much slower than any of us would have liked, but the evidence is overwhelming. It's incontrovertible sad actually that this could happen. That was going to be my follow up. Question Sean because when I travel and we get thousands of e mails a on this topic. When are people going to go to jail? And can you give me insight on this? Can you give us any clues any crumbs that we're starting to see from Durham? It's I call them. It's funny. You say crumbs because call them the the Attorney General Bar breadcrumbs. It's like Hansel and Gretel. Remember. We're we're trying to follow and see the trail exactly yeah. He did say that the president was spied on. It did happen illegally. The. Think about this. If you go before Judge Judy I wouldn't WANNA lot because Judge Judy I. I've met her once she'll eviscerate. You I watched her show. You. Don't go before a court. The information that you have not verified. It actually said at the top of a FISO Warren Charlie. It says verified. Okay. We now know the dossier was unverifiable. The sub source we now know, said this this bar talk. We were making this up. This was never meant for anything and again Hillary paid for it funneled money separate issue. And so, what is going to happen I don't have a crystal ball but I. do know all of the facts that are in the public. Are Enough to indict many of the names that your audience is most familiar with. I would argue. Komi McCabe struck page. I'd like to know a clapper. Brennan's role in all of this ends up being and and others. The more fascinating deep question is. Will they get to that January fifth twenty seventeen meeting inside the Oval Office? This is when member Biden said George Stephanopoulos Oh I. Don't know. Anything about this, you know this whole impeachment Russia thing. He was the one same. Bring up the Logan Act fifteen days later Susan Rice in that meeting did the Cya memo the day that Donald Trump was inaugurated. Obama in that meeting shot Sally Age by saying a He. He knew everything about the Kislyak Michael Flynn call. If we look. To sum it up. I think we're GONNA get there because the evidence. Is that overwhelming? If we don't. I fear for the country? Because of you. GonNa Raid Manafort's home predawn raid and you're going to raid Roger Stone's home. For lying to Congress by the all many of the names I mentioned were referred for the same crime and you're gonNA. Pull it twenty nine guys in tactical gear, frogmen and tip off CNN cameras and. Have a biased jury for person. We won't have equal justice and equal application of our laws, and worse than that Charlie is. We lose our constitution. Yes, all our laws are are predicated on next great document and some `perfect, but it creates the path to perfection at a more perfect union so. Long answers. I'M GONNA talk. Show I love it. No, this is what our audience needs to hear, and and thank you for that and look I I completely agree because if we do not have people and I, say this as carefully as I can in handcuffs for what they did Donald Trump then I I will lose faith in the American justice system I. Don't want that and I don't want revenge I don't retribution I want people to be held accountable and I would want the same if someone did this to Barack Obama because it should never happen to a leader ever. Yes. and. They've gone after every single trump friend confidant, and yet if you oppose Donald Trump you get different treatment, talk a lot about the constitution in your book and the founding of our country, Sean going to be honest, I've been very let down by some of these supreme. Court decisions lately Can you comment on that and the importance to get more people like Kavanagh? Who's actually ruled brilliantly? Unlike John Roberts. I! I'm a little. I don't know what's happening. Roberts I have my theory I guess I have my sources people that. have their own ideas based on some knowledge? For whatever reason and I think this goes back to the obamacare decision. He has allowed. How the court appears to influence his decision making. I also sense with no evidence whatsoever. You're not a big fan of president trump, but that should not come into his thinking. Now. If getting rid of bureaucracy and lowering taxes and energy, independence, and securing our borders, and law and order are all part of this election. Let me tell you another big part of it. And it's you know we're taping this ninety. Whatever days away from the Election Day, I what about and we got asked. What about the Supreme Court? Yes, I go through a whole list I. Forget what paid maybe sixty seven I forget. A. In the book. Of. All the things Democrats would do if they're getting power one, is they? WanNa, stack the courts. Get rid of the Electoral College. And I. What, they're saying they. WanNa do is scary. They used to hide it Charlie. When I every single Liberal Democrat running for office, they would run to the left in the primary. They race back to the center, but you knew they wanted the left. There now openly embracing the most radical elements in the country and you know. Unfortunately we're watching it all. Play out nightly on TV and and that sad what I see happening when I think we have to remind a trump supporters that these are not trump appointed justices, a gorsuch I think ruled incorrectly on one ruling. That's it besides that gorsuch and cavenaugh have been tremendous and terrific verses Roberts. I just think we have to give the audience a sense. Sense of continued conviction that the trump appointed justices will continue to rule correctly and Clarence. Thomas and you know the the Thomas Family. They get no credit at all. I mean what he has done. And can you comment on that? 'cause I, E, you've actually been you open my eyes to that like eight years ago and I never learned about Clarence Thomas as a high schooler until you I mentioned it just as a quick aside on his incredible career. I like to do on TV and antidote on radio, too. Sometimes I call it the Hannity history, lesson 'cause I lived through all of this. I know this is going to see. You're not even thirty three, but my radio journey started in nineteen eighty-seven crazy right. Now on my twenty fifth year of Fox, I didn't think I last two. So I feel very blessed. As a side note if you haven't read my grandfather's son. Which is about Clarence Thomas is life. It's amazing. But. You know it's interesting because him and Scalia. To my opinion, my to most favorite justices in my lifetime. Scalia this incredible wit and genius and understanding and. They got a little acerbic side to when when he was questioning Clarence Thomas always set by quietly. What they called a high tech lynching at the time, the more modern. Let it. You gotTA. Remember Yeah. And you know. It was then Senator Ted Kennedy you know Robert Bork's America the borking of America. That was Clarence Thomas. Now we see it more recently cavenaugh. It exposes. The, who is Joe Biden? Who is his team? Because Clarence Thomas and Justice Scalia or the people we need on that court. We call them constitutionalists or originalists, the original intent, not people that would sight foreign law as liberal justices have done or not people that feel that they can rule by judicial Fiat and dictate or legislate from the bench. Democrats always wanted the court to do that which they could never. Do legislatively or win at the ballot box and that's why they want. We call them. Activists Justices Clarence Thomas. has shown a fidelity to the Constitution at the Antony Scalia. That is beyond enviable And the differences styles always interesting, too because Justice Thomas will always be quiet. That's very few questions. Anthony Scalia was in there in a wrestling with people. I don't know about John Roberts. I can't get into it, but I do believe the next president United States is a very good chance. You have a lot of older justices may want to retire. And I think that the next this election in just three short months. That's on the ballot and that's that's generational now. And Sean I think we have to pressure the Biden campaign to do what trump did and release a list of justices I mean president trump was so transparent and Joe Biden hasn't done it yet. Intentionally, of course, because he'll probably put repeated to lieber something on the United States Supreme Court I mean as horrifying as that might be so in two two quick closing question Sean and thank you for being so generous with your time anchorage, everyone you know. Know go by live, free or die. the first is this. Can you just talk about? We are heading into the election. A lot of trump supporters. They're failed. They're falling victim. They suppression pulse I wish that wasn't the case, but it seems like the memory of two thousand sixteen as faded where people forget. We were down by double digits. Can you just give a little vote of confidence to some of our listeners out there? That think we're just losing. I WANNA. Give the vote of confidence, but I want people to feel this way. I want people to think I'll use a football analogy that our mutual friend Linda that you know. Who's your biggest fan? My radio producer? He's amazing. Amazing, but she doesn't even know how many points you get a touchdown, so I'm giving these football analogies. I, want this election. I want people to feel the way I feel which is. We're on our own twenty. Two minutes to go. We have no time outs We're down by six. We got a cross. The plane marched down the field, cross the plane and hit the extra point to win. So if people feel a sense of genuine urgency and worry and concern, I'm cool with that because fear often as a great motivator, not irrational field fear, but if people do not vote, you will get the government that they're telling you. They're going to give you believe. That that is their agenda. To be a Republican and win. You GotTa always use this analogy got to run the table I gotTA. Get Florida Georgia North Carolina can't win without Ohio. No Republican's ever become president without it right? You got hold Iowa then you got pick off Pennsylvania Wisconsin hopefully Michigan maybe MINNEA- Minnesota will be play. Maybe the city of Arizona will be in play. By Joe Biden reference for those of you. That didn't get. We got a hold Arizona Gopher Nevada New Mexico. New Hampshire and Maine's second congressional district. If every single mom, this is a battle cry. You started out this interview with this. I wrote this book not because I like writing books. My last book I donated every Penny I made to charity I don't care. It's not that. This is a tipping point. Charlie this is I, don't. See if these policies are implemented how America recovers. Irreparable harm the to the rule of law to our courts to our economy, they want to wipe out the lifeblood of of the world's economy. This this promise of socialism and I go into such detail about how it's always failed. Here's a quick socialism of example. Member obamacare. Keep your doctor keep your plan. Save on average twenty five hundred dollars a year per family right? Okay. Millions lost their doctors. Millions lost their plans. We're all paying about two hundred percent more and add to that. Forty percent of Americans almost forty percent have only one obamacare Biden Carriage James Choice now. How did they do with that promise? Medicare is going broke. How did they do it? That promised social security. Charlie hate the break this here. He paying into it. You probably won't get it I. Barely Skate through, and they might give me ten cents until they means tested and then take it back, How does it? How did Liberal government work in New York City with all the anarchy cutting a billion dollars, so please? How's IT WORKING IN CHICAGO? All. These liberal cities have where the violence we've been talking about takes place. They all have one thing in common. They've been run by Liberal Democrats for decades right. Most of these states have been run into the ground by Liberal Democrats for decades. If you WANNA know what America will look like if Biden Bolshevik Bernie. Pelosi Schumer and Bozo. That team gets place look at new. York state and city look at Chicago the City Illinois. The State Look at California. Look at Oregon. Look at Portland, the city. Look at Seattle. Look at the state of Washington. Yes. And I. Love this country too much. You know it's an all hands on deck moment and Every everyone of you've got this connection with younger people in this country. You have this incredible. A credible platform you built, and it's become powerful and meaningful and transformative to the country, and you're going out there, and you're fighting on these college campuses and you. You know it's not easy to be in the middle of a I call it a shift. Show all the time, but let's well put, but you do it. And it's freedom works. Every time you give up freedom for security, you lose your freedom because the security that they're offering. These promises that can never ever be fulfilled. In America. The land. I'll close with this unless you want to go further I can keep going the. Barry Farber who was a mentor of mine. Just recently passed away like ninety ninety one. And he always said there's never been a country in the history of mankind that has accumulated more power and abused at less than the United States well I add. A country in the history of mankind that has accumulated more power abused at less, but used it to advanced human condition. The reason America is great and exceptional. If I can say that today, it's not perfect, but it's great. An exceptional is because of its people, and because of the fundamentals of liberty and freedom. So that? Natural rights versus government or rights, natural rights come from God doubt by our Creator. Life Liberty pursuit of happiness while you can't pursue happiness these days in Chicago New York Moreland Seattle. So there's a lot on the line. I love your audience. I'm so thankful for all you're doing, and you've got a great team that you building review and you're out there fighting the fight and I just urge you guys. Just fight like your country depends on it. Because America's, we know it. It's all hanging in the balance. Yet was Sean. You've been so generous the last quick thing I defend the president all the time personally as a person. Can you comment on that because I've had the opportunity to meet him? not as much as you obviously and get to know him, but a lot of people here misrepresentations in lies about who he is as a human being. Let's close on this note. Can you just mention one or two things that that people can take away from that? You know first of all. It's interesting. Nobody seems to understand Donald trump yet. They don't want to understand. I mean Donald Trump. The Dog Bites the beasts, things you feeling sad or get cancer. You Complain Trump. I mean that's how saying the leftist. But here's a guy that is so unique he this guy is like a soon nami force of energy like I've never met my life. The most distinct and unique quality he's had is as president. You mentioned the Supreme Court. He put those people that he said he put. He cut the bureaucracy as he said he'd caught, and he cut the taxes as he said he'd cut. He did the North Dakota. A keystone pipelines Anwar Likey said he would. He's building the wall or almost four hundred miles. A wall by the by election will be over four hundred miles. He found a way it was. It was an uphill climb He said he wanted to pull us out of foreign conflicts, but not back away from evil defeated. The Caliphate took out. Baghdadi and Associates took out Sola Mani took out the Al. Qaeda leader in Yemen. So? What makes him special and unique in terms of presidency is that he is who you see is who you get. The guy that's fights on twitter is the guy that's fighting for a better trade. Deal the guy that fights. Against Liberal Democrats and the media mob is the same guy is fighting to keep his promises that to me makes him the most unique transformative political figure in our lifetime. And Right now. The. We tip the scales. You have a choice. It's never been a bigger choice. He will keep his promises. Coronas been a little bit of a curve ball to the world, but even that ten days after the first case, the only guy that I know of thought about a travel ban will be donald trump. They were teaching at the time and Joe Binder Biden was call them Sinophobic, so he's a man of his word. He's a man that will fight to his last dying breath for this country and the promises he made, and that makes them in my view very transformative. Men will. The book is live for Your Die God bless you, Sean, thank you for that. You do and we really appreciate. It helps you soon. Thanks bye. What a great conversation that was! Harry & Meghan Called Whiny Brats
"Hey guys happy Monday and welcome to daily pop. I mean a- Parker joined by so my favorite. Silvester Aunt Victor Cruz A. You know we are going to go in this morning. Because someone is calling, Harry and Meghan tone death, whiny Brat S-. That person of course is Pierce Morgan who else pierce like the rest of US got a first look at the new book about the royals called finding freedom. It's a very personal and intimate look at their lives, and in today's Daily Mail Pierces the book. Confirms Up There Rawls, most that they are the world's most tone-deaf, hypocritical, narcissistic, deluded whiny Brat long to say. Do you guys agree with his assessment? Not even close not even close when you look at Harry and Meghan. You have to understand this okay. The royal family didn't work I. Think I think Harry First of all was just. He's a person that likes to spread his wings. He likes to do what he wants to do. And it just so happens that he found a partner that is rotten with him and wants to do the things he wants to do so look. They separated from the Royal Family I. Get it, but they still got to bring in the coin. So of course they're going to drop a book. Of course, it's going to be things about their their intimate parts of their life. That's going to be in the book. It has to sell copies, but do I think they're whining brats, because they're kind of letting people in into their loz little bit absolutely not coming from someone who has a New York Times bestselling book myself. You can go pick it up at Barnes and noble. You can. This is what you have to do to. You gotta give people a little bit of something personal so that they can go in and buy your book. That's what this is all about well I. I brought I bought. Cruise Control Victor and there was nothing personal in it, okay? We'll let me just. A REP from hearing. Megan told us that they did not contribute to the book. So this is not fair book. This is an author that claims that they spoke to over one hundred sources, which is how they got such personal information, so the book is about them, but they didn't write it. The sources gave them all the information from today's Arthur. First of all. Nina, you know as well as I. Know working in this business. We know that every celebrity has a few henchmen. You know my name on it I. Don't want to get my hands dirty, but wouldn't it be crazy if you're over? At TMZ found out about this personal detail. Look the thing is I do ride for Megan Harry? Understand everything that's going on with them, and I feel bad for them. However, the one thing that was missing in this book was them taking accountability for at least one thing. That's the only problem I have with. This I could see where they felt like they were trapped. I could see where they felt like they had been turned against, but they're just not taking accountability for anything at all. It's not their book. It's not their book. How do they take accountability for something? They didn't right. Come on, come on. Kirk five written. Book. Does like her five germ ability. If you decide to write something about my life, I don't have to take accountability for anything. It's not my book. You wrote it. But it's there. It's still going to come out and it's still going to be things in there that are probably true and depending on what those are. They should probably own up to a couple of those, and it's not anything wrong or anything bad about them. They're living their own lives right now. They're doing what they wanted to drink, so I wouldn't mind owning up to one. Maybe two of those things that are being said is. Is a lot because they don't want to go. This traditional route and I also think that there is a huge disconnect with how it relates to a lot of this because she's American because she's a celebrity from America and she had a different way of life, and also because she's a black woman, and I feel like there's been a lot of insensitivity to hurt that regard for how she's been treated in the press the way. Way that she's been treated compared to everybody else has been completely different because they didn't have to deal with a lot of the same type of headlines that she did. She felt very triggered by the way that she was treated by a lot of the press in Britain, because of the fact that a lot of it was race baiting a lot of it was. You know saying things that were really offensive to her, so of course. Course she's very defensive when she's dealing with that. And then also the fact that she was very popular coming over there, and so they were saying that she was kind of taking over for him, because she she was more popular than K., and that's to be expected so a lot of it, not that it's not her fault, but it's like look if my light is shining bright and this overshadowing. You said you'll came up, don't. Know Tena. Not that Nina I totally get it at the same time. If you're walking into institution that's been built for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Sometimes, you gotta learn the ropes before you start stepping out before you get crazy now. Not saying what she did was wrong I just would have played my game a little bit slower. I would follow. Call before jumping ship and surprising and enrolling up on the que-, being like hey, all we hear from Canada. Talked about Leonardo's. Popularity grew like that. It's not her fault that the attention came to her the way it did when she got there. It wasn't her fault, and it's not that she linked up with Harry who was riding with her, and it was like you know what we're doing this on our own less rocker
Twitter Will Be Fun Today - The College Kids Who Hacked Into Twitter
"Today's guests. His Hip Awan CEO of Afani. Secure and private cell phone service locum his Heeb. Thank you Laura for home. You'll show. You were one of the investigators in touch with the young people who hacked twitter last week and gain control of prominent accounts, including those of Joe. Biden Obama Elon Musk and others as well as those of crypt companies like coin, base and finance, and when they had control those accounts, they were soliciting bitcoin from twitter users. How did you get in touch with the hackers? So Laura be in like. four-time itself, so then after I was so pissed off that angry that I said I need to solve this problem, and so I've entered into a form that relates how they have those accounts holiday getting pretty much all the ring of how they operate so. When you say that they had had your twitter account, nor they have my Sim Sark four times. Okay, and when you say Sim, swaps just described that in case, listeners does up. Does improper pretty much. What happened is like someone will take the form so the underground market like think about Ebay, but like I knew democracy with information. So you said your name, your information social security number your call logs your life, your life, location or anything on you. If I say hey, I need to find out for Laura Shane telephone number, and they'll give me telephone number will give me a call loss to give you. An everything comes through telephone numbers of numbers unique, and then if I say. Say Hey. I need to take the phone number 'cause I need so they will just prophet abuse him that I control, and I need to pay them few hundred dollars now. Your formula not work anymore because I had control of Sim card, so then I use that telephone number to get into a g mail, facebook and twitter, so if you go on twitter, new likely rescinded to email our number. If it's telephone number you've got. Someone's adopted very common technique deployed across US for a long time. So. The twitter hack twitter said that their employees had been socially engineered, and that's how these hackers gained control the systems. Are you saying that? Some twitter employees have their account. Sim swapped like how how does that you or Simspon tried? These people relate to the twitter Hack Greg? You wanted to ask me like how to get in touch with them so I'm trying to understand. You, that of analysis himself, so started going into the industry into this form than trying to see how they operate and to Dodd funny, so which will provide the made acadia that probably that cannot be Simpson's. That's what we did an offer that. VINCI START GETTING customers. Have you would actually getting a lot of attempts to do so? You would getting Dempsey pretty much every week that someone prior to himself or customer, trying to like hack into our system and mend the failed. I got in contact David Mayhew call, they would email method you and they will do all kinds of attacks. You know they'll try to let pen to pen tests. The everything did and obviously in one of the cases restocked immunity stopping messing around it right I know what you're up to. And after I got in touch with him to signal and author that the lake. Not I won't say that become a friend, but I told them why you're doing this. Thank you know you should not do this multiple hackers and they said okay. If you don't have anything to do pretty much, does it okay? Why don't you get a job? He said job, and then they start feeding the all information to proved at. Legit than a lot of information and how I was getting information from a lot of talk of the vote. And when it all this happened that you got in touch with him and had it happened late four five months ago. Okay They were diverging to me not just for this hot, but for other purposes to ride like a kid discount. Lot of databases beach everyday, so they wanted to see that a hey. If I'm interesting in the database, just wanted to work pretty much. is not money. It's also about ego that they wanNA prove something that they would do something so. So Mike Context for not hacking, but they'll be into the songs that they had access to. That follows A. Up I didn't want to. Excessive today were passing me. Hey, today. This is for sale to do sports on tomorrow. This person's so on the deal stood attack. I got a message that will be fun today, and when this message I thought he'd be like a distributor barks. Like scam scams, and but after why? That's all the kind. We got attacked ten. Finance Accounting Noble at depth one time. I taught that it's just a third party API like you know you have like you know where your schedule. The in everything I thought that may be compromised, and that's how they got author. Riley said No. We have everything. A screen chart I tweeted screen shot, and after that is blue. Well and so, who are these people? who were the people involved in the actual twitter hack? The difficult to identity like frankly I don't know I can speculate, but obviously because someone security and privacy I don't want to speculate but I can tell you wanting like college. Kids are maybe like someone between eight, eighty, twenty, one, twenty, two, and they are video gamers. They'd metaphor armed, and they found fascinating for them. Dislike a game like you go into video game on you killing you do stuff for them. It's like that. They, probably living in some way or radio patterns right now in basement. Who does not even know anything? and. They just do it for fun. Obviously, money's there, too, but most of fun for them is just a today. And so originally. The way you got in touch with them was they were targeting these different cell phone accounts, and what does motivation and taking over the different cell phone accounts so for account you can actually to when people take account, they can actually destroy you financially emotionally ended up recently, though by financial I can say they can get into your county bank accounts ticket by Tiptoe through that they can buy a lot of levels of securities financially they can do. obviously going to facebook in an email to, and then they donor all information from your facebook, and then they start blackmailing you that. Hey, likely when a lot you have done this like you know you have this. And you have to pay me this information out there and a lot of people would have to pay them the money because they don't pay the money. They looted operation right so and then third party. They just become Parson Mike is the word processing me. blender used to take my county new. They cannot get anything, but they wanted to talk to me. Just fun for them like people. Some people are sick. Like how did they pick you out of all the different people that they could torture also the league, if not just me like everyday hundreds of people to get them soft, though I'm just one of them on average, every second medical become victim of since up, not himself but cybercrimes so. But I had the impression that this was primarily targeting crypto currency people, but you're saying it's any bundled nor I think eighty percent of people who was himself to an entrepreneur L.! And the new in the cases of those people is it like personal vendettas that they're trying to? You can make more money by a hacking Lord cell than anything else you know. is one thing but Lloyd is like one number one target Loyd and has professionals league doctor medical doctor then. In Lord other number one targets in suffers, and what is the motivation for targeting lawyers Don. Money don't happen. How do they monetize that Yeah, so I tell you doctors, basically busy less tech, savvy and rich. It's that easy to find out any doctor information. You can find out who the best doctor in the city and you consume. Stop Him. And once you get into that account, you can transfer money between accounts who can be that people have been? Going into the count, Simpson calling the bank making via transfer, and then just checking accounts. That's pretty common. For for doctors to clinics have a lot of money. If you'RE GONNA clinic, instead he did even like five hundred hundred million dollar distorted the front because Alaska. Election for them. Okay, so let's go back to the twitter hack. They were some names that were identified of people who are involved these names. In The New York Times article that quoted you as a source one was kirk. There were some other people ll and ever so anxious. Who were these people? And how did they know each other? So they don't. Know the Best Birdie. They just hang out on rooms like chatting channels lake similar people on developed talked with you. The pirates channels. We had people a go if they WANNA have information to the document industry for finding information. If I want someone associated Gordon dissipates on one. Don't get call for these people trade information. And you asked about like a leg. Imagine your lawyer and you are fighting for my open kiss. We begin go to the website by that long since he will. They are who they're talking to the day can. Make some delays on them. That's one thing but other than that. These people are just a game as they would play like you know different video games and kick the die, who was basically a source of the rate industry rock says they'll be extra agents, and they are in room for longtime and David. Obviously you want you want something you don't trust the new guy. The new guy who is basically the main culprit punching the entity because multiple reasons, but the main guidance, the just which had A. Reputation. If you say you want a username of Laura at Laura, Shannon inactive. You may not trust kick, so you can do this. Middle Diane Tell Them Hey, can you hold the money for because you have a good relation? Because like Ebid forums generally have a petition systems. You know so then you ve into this guy like you know every inch it He went to care. Concur depended he the credit employees but I. Don't think he was employees. And, then he gave him the concert start building. So this is just a middleman. He was just broken deals. You tell them what you want. He was just keep his car and transfer the money. The is completed that fall. And so so kirk was was saying that he was a twitter employees, but as you said, you don't think that he was, and he was essentially selling valuable twitter accounts, and if people didn't trust, Kirk, they would use ever so anxious as their middleman to get the different twitter handles that they wanted. Is that what happened? That's correct. Good Gig, only unharmed on in July of. July it was very recently. that. He actually came so obviously not trust someone admit. That soon. July seventh in the New York Times article are. Limited okay, but all right so but ever so anxious. How to longer reputation and. And that was who people are transacting with. And so then. How did BITCOIN come into this? All. On these things happen through Bitcoins, so the way it started was they were selling. This twitter handles four bitcoin and then later. How did the scam change? So I. Personally is what I personally think. That kid was in touch with the employees who was giving these accounts. For a few thousand dollars. And then. Either bribed him. Architects. Social Engineering Him. Legs because like hey can do. This is my. This is purely my speculation that you're working for so long. He warned the trust. Any may have said Hey, can you log in forbid I wanNA see how it looks like something that he made it something so the guy is pasta on. Hey, just do it, but don't do anything crazy. You Know Butt kicked. Decide Okay, man I can just go on or can also go online with I can do it I can. Can also go on like you know. All those accounts crazy. That's what I okay, but you're just speculating. You don't have any proof that or or do you know what? I don't have any proof of that I don't approve. Have critic probably do it? And Kirk? Is probably a guy called coup, which is on a farm for a long time, so he speculated that he someone that was in the industry for wide, but not. Approved that. Kicked it, but from all the action than everything it all points to cook. Irene so in a moment we're gonNA. Talk a little bit more about what happened. Exactly I, in sight, twitter and scam, but First a quick word from the sponsors who make this show possible. How much in fees are you paying? Back to my conversation with his Heeb Awan. So, we don't know exactly how. Kirk got into twitter's internal systems. However Once. He or she did then what'd he do or or she do with their power? So. Kirk than they went to buy I think. Start with by notes I'm coin base. And the see your finance and he made it account Egypt first of all. What did it was did with other? Account. Okay, which means when you log in, it asks you to do a second type of security, which is hopefully. If you're in the crypto space, you have used something like Hugo, authenticate or key, and you're not using text message based second factor authentication. Where they sent a code your phone because otherwise if he gets swaps than than having no. Buyer so. Removed that and then keep going good thing. They added wall a secondary second. You know Autodata so now. I'll give example like you have my username seep, so they moved to a FE, and they're also removed. Jane, Email. And then they. Did possible reset. So the new email guard, the chain deposited garden the account. and. tweeted whatever they wanted. Well, and what were they tweeting? So, they were tweeting that you know. About Co. Ed Nineteen I believe like you know because of Covid, we like helping people. I don't remember the wording. Health Has Something and they said Back. And this is video any comments in YouTube. Actually they were so good that frankly sometime I get like you know Oh my God like the able to make it like a secondary thing. That's real you know and like, but this happens pretty commonly, and and it's happening for almost two years now i. It, really is the kind of thing where people think it's real I honestly. Had created a question for you, which is who are the people who are savvy enough to own bitcoin and know how to send it, but not savvy enough to spot. What to me seems like an obvious scam. Actually went on the Internet and are tweeted out this thing same thing I said like who are those people who can have sophisticated enough to buy Bitcoin, but knowledge to. Send. Bitcoin but I think leap Dick's everything. Like I agree people think okay. Let's give it a chance. You know it's like a lottery ticket. You know people may be, but they think what if this is true and other than that. If you like an must happening there, actually flaunted, be efforts on twitter. All the time with people are donating money on twitter, but they don't ask for anything they say hey, can you give me your Alfred Egland who this every day, so he will dollars to off fifty dollars for every person everyday. You'll say. Retreat this. I'll give you this money. So this happens right now and obviously As hit audible, read like you know when viewed come in people, people forget everything that you know. We have so many Ponzi scheme like so many scattered that happened that exist today could if I come to unity Laura investment scheme, which is a pretty good you know. He hit all the MACHIDA. But it only gives you five percent. You may not listen to that. Say Hey, Lord the Child who may tennis money tomorrow. You may skip everything. Cocaine is thousand and ten dollars tomorrow. Okay I'll take the risk from doing that. Hopefully I'm sure my listeners are savvy enough to know if it sounds too good to be true. But people do that I. Think I have estimated that around like maybe I. Just in this journal given us cam like. He put a lot of tens of millions of dollars and well not last week, but no, not over time overtime. Yeah, yeah, we'll be sending money, so there are enough food. I guess yeah over I mean for last week. The hackers did net about a little over thirteen bitcoin, which was about one hundred twenty thousand dollars, although analysts said that about twenty, thousand of it seems to have come from a suspicious address that they actually think controlled by the hackers to kind of make it look like this was legit and people were actually sending money. But then also by the way they could have netted more. However, Cuevas said that it did prevent more than one thousand customers from sending about two hundred and eighty thousand dollars worth of Bitcoin to the twitter hackers so oriented, so let's talk a little bit also about just what happened in twitter which was? Twitter blog posts. Hackers a targeted. Thirty accounts for forty five of those they reset the password and sent tweets from those accounts for eight of them. They actually downloaded that counts data, and then for thirty sixty legitimate direct message inbox, including one elected official from the Netherlands, and it was who. What do you think they could do with such information? I think it's A. Black, man that I've been talking to you about what happened with sin sopping. Let's think about it if you have first all that fool Phoolan that why didn't put? It wasn't like planned. I don't believe it was just like in the move in the heat of happened. BANDAIDS slaves. They clearly guy who just got drunken pretty might do everything but I think if you have access to like anyone, social media, proper social media like I have been I've received. Messages. And I but I don't believe that I think we have forged around. Lincoln Project Releases Video Criticizing Trump's Pandemic Remarks and Well-Wishes to Ghislaine Maxwell
"I want to take a look at another factor in the campaign, and this is Republicans working against the re election of Donald Trump, and this is the latest from the Lincoln Project, let's take a look at the Lincoln projects latest AD. COVID nineteen deaths till now more than one hundred forty, one thousand thousand new deaths reported overnight. It is what it is. Forty million people have lost their jobs in ten weeks is what it is massive camouflaged federal agents detaining peaceful protesters. It is what it is. The British social is accused of conspiring with. I wish her well whatever it is I just wish it well frankly. Jennifer Mary from Donald. Trump's both yesterday to the ad tonight. something obviously unimaginable before him? President United States saying I wish her well twice about a woman accused of sex trafficking, minor jewelry four Jeffrey, Epstein. Yeah and it's a case. The Messenger being effective for getting getting under trump's skin. Think that wondering the Lincoln projects does really well. Is that Republicans are former Republicans may know what irks Republicans and say you know. I, think coming back. Keep coming back to that comment about wishing her well is joined to. It's GonNa. It's GonNa. Upset Him, and that's what. That's what he does. Their ads are designed to do that. Designed to provoke and you know with the the video with the former vice president and President Obama. It's another case of the Messenger being just the right one in. We all talk about how trump doesn't take responsibility. Kirk says, but to have a former president I dates. Who Bore so much responsibility for advice for the United? States, speaking in a casual conversation like this. I think it really has an impact people. It's not a speech. It's not a set interview. It's a conversation and also as a practitioner I really admire how well the Biden campaign is played this out a clip today. We are all talking about it. I got a ton of. Of calls from reporters today. Who wanted to talk about the Biden Obama relationship? There was an event in build build. There's more that they'll will see tomorrow, but this is what the campaigns got to figure out. How do you do this and the time of a pandemic when you don't when the BP doesn't have the opportunity to do a lot of offense and I think we'll have to see stage, but in this case manage to make it informal in warm events like this. As the president was leaving the briefing room. Today we could all hear someone or more than one reporter yelling. That name Lane Maxwell to the president That was the question he didn't want to deal with today about. Why did he wish her well yesterday? That's right and what we saw yesterday was a president who was at least on message when he was reading. Out from notes, but then when he was his notes, he was against spreading misleading information so while he's reading he saying yes, the it's going to get worse before it's better the minutes later when he doesn't have a dose in front of what he's saying is actually it's going to disappear so what we see and president trump is someone who is easily thrown off in this case. When he's answering the question, he's being fully himself, so he answered that question really in the way that he really believed. He wanted to answer it and I. Think now, of course it's causing problems for him, and maybe now he's GonNa Adjust his answer. to to find some way that will make this may smooth over a bit, but we already know what president trump thinks because we have to go with the first answer, which is the answer that he gave when he was really thinking about it, in a way that was very much leaning on his instincts, which was of course to wish her well.
Sierra Club Denounces Founder John Muir For Racism
"A historic icon of the American environmental. Movement is in the spotlight John Muir founded the Sierra Club in eighteen, ninety two in San Francisco. The group's current leaders says the ongoing civil rights protests, leading to the dismantling of confederate monuments is causing the Sierra Club to reexamine its own racist history NPR's Kirk. Siegler reports. The group is pledging to remove some of its own John Maher statues. John Muir has long been revered by environmentalists. The California naturalists Biblical love. Wild places led to a legacy of federal wilderness protections, including Yosemite National Park, but mirror was also well known for making derogatory comments about blacks and native people and the modern conservation movement has wrestled for years with these transgressions in a letter to the Sierra clubs members today, current Director Michael Brune said this moment. Moment is a time to reexamine. The clubs own substantial role in perpetuating white supremacy. Bruins says the group will reconsider the views of some of its founders that lead to the modern movement being so white today when it comes to John Muir, we're looking to advance the conversation about yours legacy to look at him in a more comprehensive and inclusive way. That acknowledges his limitations. Limitations and shortcomings, the Sierra Club says it's considering removing some monuments to its founders. Brune is also pledging that the group will reorganize to ensure that a majority of its leadership is comprised of people of Color, and he hopes to spend five million dollars on diversifying their staff and training. The announcement was welcomed by Mustafa Santiago Ali of the National Wildlife Federation. You know it's long overdue. Overdue we have to address the sins of the past. He's one of the few people of Color who's actually in a leadership position in a major environmental group that major sin of the past, many of those folks felt that those spaces those natural spaces, those sacred spaces where meant for white men Ali says the modern day environmental movements lack of diversity in its writ large. Of Communities of color has had major consequences, one example, industrial facilities are often put in underserved neighborhoods and pollution from them as drifting into national parks like those John Muir fought to establish. Hack on famous Twitter accounts raises national security concerns
"Let's see here. What happened over the week. A little thing called a twitter hack. Oh that was wild now. I know for most people. Twitter is not important. Twitter is not. You know a major part of people's lives. facebook is maybe instagram is. Some of the some people like twitter. You know, but really it's. The reason twitter has outsized importance. well, it's a number of reasons. One is because a lot of journalists use it and you know they're always paying attention. As if the state, the outrage storms on twitter make a a difference which they don't. Not at all. The other reason is because the president uses it is It is his chief. I. Think is chief form of communication. With the public. He's actually you know executed presidential decrees on the tweets. So it's important for that reason. If you know if no one else were on twitter, it would be important to follow twitter just to see what the president trump saying. There are other reasons to be on there, but that you know so, it has. An importance beyond its its actual. Importance in the world because you know there's about three hundred million users, but you know in the US maybe I don't know one in five people are even aware of it or use it. My that's that's by gas. I bet it's even smaller than that. However when there is a twitter hack. It's a big deal. and. In fact, it was a little weird. About about one what say one o'clock, Pacific Time Four PM Eastern on Wednesday. All of a sudden. These tweets start showing up. At first is just on Bitcoin. Accounts like by Nance. Hey, in because of Kovic, nineteen I. Want to give back to my community every bitcoin bitcoin. I have to explain I. Guess you probably heard of it as crypto currency, it's a currency. that has kind of a made up value. All currency does but. Kind of made up right now. It's almost ten thousand dollars per bitcoin. you can buy bitcoin with American dollars or other dollars or other you know currencies, or you can generate it. Most people can't and don't have the ability to generate because it takes a lot of power. It's so expensive in terms of electricity that you can only do it if if you like live in a hydroelectric dam. which sounds like hyperbole except that that's where a lot of these bitcoin miners live actually in hydroelectric dams and other places where the cost of energy is low to nothing. So you can't make it that way. Young people can give it to you in exchange. You create a wallet I have a Wallet Bitcoin Wall and I forgot my password, so it's not much good to me. Seven bitcoins in there s a lot of money. But I don I can't get to them. That's all right. They're safes. They're mostly. Every bitcoin wallet has a unique number associated with it. Not Name knotted addressed on a phone number. No, no identifiable information, just a number. So it's widely used by bad guys, hackers and others to exchange value so this tweet on binds bitcoin exchange, said in because a covert I want to give back to my community for every bitcoin. You send this address again this long number this anonymous address. I will send you double back. For. Give me ten thousand I'll give you twenty one. Now, you'd have to be an idiot to do it. Right because come on. Except that all of a sudden, some other very big. Accounts. Start tweeting similar things. The number one account on twitter is Barack, Obama. Followers, his account tweets it. Joe, Biden's account tweets it. Elon Musk tweets it. Wow some big names here. Bill Gates Apple Computer Apple tweets it. Apple's got a lot of money. Because, we really appreciate our community. We'd like to give back tweet. US, send us a a bitcoin. We'll send you to. Up to some people up to bill, Gates that up to fifty million dollars. It's not Bill Gates or apple or the Joe Binder. Barack Obama not all of these about thirty. High Profile verified accounts had been hacked. Obviously of course bright most people would get that. Apparently, it's hard to tell with Bitcoin, but you can look at an address and see how much money's coming around one hundred thousand dollars came in. But. It's hard to tell because you can't tell the source, so it could be the hacker himself. Putting money in from another account to make it look like you just don't know. So wasn't a huge score. How did this happen? Everybody's freaking out now. I, it's pretty obvious immediately. Anybody understands how this stuff works. That, this was a serious hack. Because in the past we've seen account takeovers onesie twosies. and you know. I think he lon Musk's account has been hacked. Other People's accounts have been hacked. You guessed the password, or you know things happen but not this many and not as many high profile accounts that are in all likelihood highly protected. With real security behind them like multi factor authentication. RIGHT IF YOU'RE A. Presidential candidate, for instance like Joe, Biden probably using the strongest security available. Almost certainly. So, it couldn't be that. The password was gaster was weaker, monkey, one, two three and everybody guessed it couldn't be that. So it was immediately apparent, something major and much more serious. was going on. Something like. perhaps. And! We've seen this once before actually several times before maybe. A malicious insider at twitter and employee, perhaps who that would be bad. There was a contractor about three years ago. Who On leaving the company? Disabled President Trump's account for about a minute. With I, mean they caught on pretty quick? Twitter reacted quickly shutting down all verified accounts. Of what we call a brute force protect you know. They just said No. Whatever we're GONNA. We don't know what's going on, so we're just going. And as time has gone by the last few days, we've kind of learned. More and more twitter not been completely forthcoming, but others have. So. There's a group of people out there. WHO TRADE IN! Short twitter handles. They call og original gangster twitter handles usually single letter. Twitter handles. Like at six there is such one. It was hacked. Effect it's really bad. I'm glad I didn't when I sign up for twitter in the in the very earliest days. Say, I want Leo, because I would be a target I didn't use that. He's that Leo LaPorte, but thank goodness because I would have been a target anybody with a really short name and I have friends who have really short names. They're at risk because there's a whole group of people who collect these who trade them and you can sell them for lots of money. These people. Were watching what was going on. And we're in fact, probably connected to the hack. They've actually been in touch. Believe it or not with the New York Times. and. They've showed him screen shots and stuff and they said yeah. We know what went on. We know what went on, and it's a guy named Kirk. Probably not is really all it's great. It sounds like a real name Kirk. A guy named Kirk. WHO and Kirk is not talking to your times, but the people around him are who, probably in twitter admits this socially engineered tricked a twitter employees. Now as we look at, it actually looks like it might be something even more sinister. That somebody got into twitter's slack channel again. Another definition here, slack Zeh. Messaging Platform like what's APP or apple messages? You! Know your text messages, but it's one a lot of companies use. My company uses it for business chat. Apparently, twitter did a very stupid thing. They put. Credentials for logging in. To their admin dashboard. This is you know what they called God. Mode the ability to log into this system. You could change things you could tweet on people's behalves. You could change passwords. This is a powerful tool that should be not available to contractors, not available to low level employees should only be available to the most trusted employees apparently. According to Brian, Krebs and other security researchers and these hacker groups that were communicating with the New York Times. They didn't secure this slack channel. And the credentials. Got Out. And Kirk, who is not well known in hacker channels apparently got access to the Adleman this makes sense the admin dashboard. Because how else would somebody do this so quickly to so many M- much more security accounts. It's also extremely disturbing fortunately. All Kirk did is put up some DOPEY SPAM At least as far as we know, and this is part of the problem as far as we know, some dopey span said, send me money effectively. Nobody fell for that very few. But What else could have done? He could have tweeted out his president trump. Probably we don't know what protections extra protections there are. There probably are some nice account. or other world leaders account saying you know the countdown gun. Nuclear War starts in five minutes. That would be disturbing. It would have a long-term impact they could also, and it's apparently the case. Download all. Previous tweets and even direct messages private stuff, nobody any with any brains uses twitter's private messaging for anything, important or secure. If you have been stopped. Because, apparently, some of that was downloaded. And it by the way wouldn't just be verified accounts high profile. Be Any account. So we don't really know, twitter's trying to figure it out right now. and they have logs and stuff. They may actually be able to figure out what happened. We don't know how much was stolen. It could be the. This. bitcoin scam was just A. MISDIRECTION! Pay No attention to what I'm really doing. We don't know. So. This is a significant issue in many ways. Twitter's fixed it. I. I have about I, don't I'm not a huge twitter percents using it since day one and I about a half million followers. But makes it concerns me and everybody who uses twitter and it should. Because twitter's security has been lax, and is still apparently lacks enough that somebody could walk wander in and do this and tweet on Joe Biden's account and Barack Obama's account. That's a significant problem. Even more significant because the president uses this as his. Bully pulpit. There's some real concern about that. And other world leaders do that. There's some real concern about that. Twitter we'll try to fix this. I think it's very clear you should not any. No one should use twitter for anything important ever again.
Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott will play on franchise tag of $31.4M
"This was the biggest surprise I think I've said on this show. Eighty million times I thought this was going to get done We were recording this thirty seconds before the franchise tag deadline at like three, fifty, nine, twenty, five, as I'm saying this so you know. Knock on wood that it holds true, but Dak Prescott will officially going kirk cousins route as his long term extension with Dallas cowboys was left. negotiated a long term deal reports indicate that the sides broke off talks as early as march in never really hop back on the wagon the cowboys would like you to know and I wrote back in September that they were offering him more than one hundred million dollars in guarantees. Guarantees which depending on if it's a practical guarantees, are actual monetary guarantees would be an NFL record Dak Prescott would like you to know that they also insisted on an extra year of service for that privilege. It looked like he was. He was searching for more something along the lines of the Russell, Wilson, deal where it was more of a four year more compact thing, and then you can dip again, for your thirty Still Shocked I think he's a top five quarterback I thought Seth Wall Dirty Espn made a good point that if you had to round up, Fi, you know. Two or three quarterbacks that you were sure in five years, we're still going to be top five quarterbacks Dak. Prescott would certainly be one of them so I don't understand why this didn't get done I think it's a gigantic financial mistake. for the cowboys of cost themselves now the franchise tag now becomes the floor. The next franchise tag now becomes the floor for the next negotiating period, and so on and so on. We've seen how this works out. But what's the deal I wonder you know he's? He's one of the most efficient players in the league. He fits well in the offense. You kept the coordinator. Is this Mike McCarthy saying? I WANNA. Get a look at the Sky I. Yeah this one is surprising as well to me. Connor I mean it seemed like they were the last couple of weeks headed toward their kirk cousins situation, but it's still kind of stunning that they took care of their running back before their quarterback like this all dates back to that decision to sign Ezekiel Elliott I instead of taking care of the quarterback, and that and they end up here and now they're in this as you referenced this. Three, year kind of tag situation where the numbers go up, which obviously is the base negotiating point for a long term deal, so you know next year would be. This year's tag is about thirty one million next year tag is like thirty seven and a half million or so, and then they have a choice between the transition and a super high franchise tag the year after that as opposed to the long-term deal. Deal
Will Dak Prescott Sign A Long Term Deal With The Dallas Cowboys?
"Prescott. There is two hours and fifty one minutes left until Dak, Prescott, and Dallas Cowboys can work in extension if not he will be under the franchise tag for the next season earning himself thirty one point four million dollars guaranteed. With the potential chance I, guess up after this season or get franchise tag again. He is now the third quarterback in the history of franchise tags and the NFL to play on the franchise tag. If that happens obviously before after four o'clock drew brees that it what the San Diego chargers. He leaves Don Kirk cousins, does it? What The Washington redskins twice? He leaves town, so history says Dak Prescott will play. This franchise tag may be getting again even but not in Dallas Cowboy long-term. If Your Dad, how do you feel? Do you pumped about thirty one point? Four million dollars guaranteed because if I'm looking at that piece of paper I'm like fucking here we go. Yeah. He's got to be torn. I would imagine I'm sure you're excited. Okay? I'm going to be the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for another year. MC, thirty one million guaranteed, but he doesn't feel like he has that long term security that he wants from the team. McKay. You think I'm your guy. You're willing to pay thirty one MIL for one year. Why doesn't that don't you think you should give me five six year extension and give me big time money for down the road? That's where he's gotTA. Be Thinking, but so if he doesn't do it today though. He will become a free agent. When the League year starts next March right now after the season they can negotiate. There's another window after the season before free agency to work a long term deal. I actually had that happened after I got franchise tag the day before free agency, we worked a five year deal or four year deal, so I never hit the market, but I was franchise tag the year before, so they could still potentially do that, but I guess I five year deal was offered to Prescott. Numerous Times but DAK wants a four year deal. Cowboys won a five year deal and we've been told by everybody around the cowboys and that knows the organization that that is literally. The only holdup is a one year difference so that's very interesting to me because it feels like there's it's much bigger than just a one year difference there. Thirty three to thirty five million dollars offered with over one hundred million dollars guaranteed, so if you look at that, they know that the cowboys won a five year deal that means three years of that deal was guaranteed. The other two were not locked in for five years as opposed to attack once for four, so everybody's assuming he's going to sign that deal. They're not going to get a deal done, but it's interesting because. He could potentially get thirty seven point four or something next year if he gets franchise tag thirty seven point nine if he gets franchise tag again I, don't see them running into the situation next free agency. I don't. There's no way that the franchise tagging him again they would. You would think they get the deal done I think that they're trying to see if he and Mike McCarthy going to work, I honestly believe that I think there's now granted. They made him one hundred million dollar guarantee already, so maybe I'm wrong in thinking
Arrest Made In Murder Of 16-Year-Old On Dallas Pedestrian Bridge
"Year old Carlos Vidal Mendez has been arrested for a shooting that killed a 16 year old boy on the Ron Kirk pedestrian bridge and dad. US Saturday, police said. When they arrived at the scene, they found Christopher Alexis Rivera on the ground with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, a 21 year old woman, was also found with a gunshot wound and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Hours after the incident, police arrested Menders and booked him into jail and charged him with murder. Police say Rivera and Mendez have been involved in an argument that led to an exchange of gunfire. The woman was hit in the crossfire.
Patrick Mahomes agrees 10-year deal with Chiefs worth $503m
"One of the huge headlines this week was the decade long contract that Patrick Mahomes lands in Kansas City. Will we see a ripple effect from that? Will that affect a deal for Dak Prescott? ESPN is Jeff Darlington. Will you know what? In some circumstances, I could have seen Mahomes getting a contract and maybe influencing the Doc Prescott deal, But the way it worked out, it actually won't know. I had spoken to some people before the homes got his deal done, And they implied that it Patrick Mahomes is in a little bit of a different air, No matter what. Um, Any quarterback that was coming up on his contract was not going to be able to demand that kind of money. The other situation here is that The home's ended up doing a 10 year deal. The contention between Dak Prescott the Cowboys the deck once less years, then the Cowboys willing TTO. Do they want to get five years? Dad wants to get four years. As a result, I think that the better calm pier is not Patrick Mahomes, but it's still Kirk cousins from a few years ago. Prescott now basically threatening to plan to the franchise tag and saying, If you don't pay me now, my price is only going to go higher. So this week will be very interesting. I still contend they going to get something done by July 15th. We'll have to wait and see those relationships take time, though. Nobody is patients in the NFL's. So what are you hearing about the relationship between deck and his new head coach Mike McCarthy. Look, everybody sees this as being really an ideal relationship. Personality wise, they really do meld quite nicely together, Doc, one of the most likeable one of the most enjoyable people to be around Like McCarthy, also the type of guy you can come in there and really work with Jack to a degree. Actually, I know the Cowboys fans don't want to hear this. But the relationship that Jason Garrett had with Jack I don't think it'll be that much different between these guys. And that actually is a good thing despite the outcome of Jason Garrett success, so Ah, lot of people expect this to be a really good relationship. I could, by the way, seeing This relationship prosper this year to the point where Doc next year winds up if he doesn't sign the deal now signs it later so that he can keep that marriage with McCarthy going

Kirk this Justin okay Just so I think I think the main takeaway is. I never give my opinion on the show which I think Kirk what I think. Kirk is very similar to what he thinks. Dave does with Mike and a situation where someone runs. Hold on hold on side. It's what the fuck is he talking talking about. I have no idea. So they're back. This is near the end. They come back around to the situation and and just in this saying that. You're like Dave portnoy where you get information from you form. A half asked opinion about what Justin has done and bring down the hammer on Justin. So you're saying you're like Dave portnoy making bad decisions with imperfect information. There's nobody who is more informed me. It was great watching them safe thing really walking back when he says because 'cause he knows so he works with me most often right away by the way which I will say is interesting because I wonder if he's heard that from Mike you know what I mean knowing but that's just me I know you hate. Hbo Time So. I wonder I don't feel bad for you. Get you get angry at them. Sometimes I wonder yeah I like that. He says like he did with me the most so he doesn't want to Piss me off but obviously really just want to Piss you off right so I won't one point says like oh obviously like Kirk says it doesn't matter what curses matters.
