"Her failed marriage to that ex husband kevin honor. She said the idea that the show wasn't called the windy hunter show was a big source of their problems. Yes i mean look. I think yeah. The spotlight gave windy. Not only that confidence but it gave the self-esteem that he did not want her to have because he always wanted her. I think to be reliant on her relying on him and she he controlled her that way and the minute. She became wendy williams and she got this success. She almost saw herself. As you do this to me anymore. I'm wendy but she's always been even when she had a radio. Show wendy williams. Windy hunter wouldn't be around right now outright. She was doing radio. She was very famous for wendy williams. What she did and now. She's on television the windy hunter. Shell bo one hundred were. She made the right choice. Considering the way things ended. So i just think it's one of those and i think what you were saying about him. I think it was a double edge sword. Because i think he obviously had a hand in her career and wanted her to succeed because he would have benefited from it financially. But like if you're in front of the camera if you were putting in the work and not that a lot of people don't make it happen as well but like if you were face forward on that camera you better believe your first and last name say the way. It's one hundred percent. I don't think he meant it like that. I think it was metaphorical in the sense that he wanted wendy to be his wife and she got a little bit too much independence for him. Yeah men men are no matter what. I know that we're trying to break all of the traditions and you know break everything in half and we have to learn a whole script about everything in the world. That's going on like these things exists still use this a lot with my girlfriends at different shows. Mitten any names but there have been some divorces behind this one. Hundred percents me. "All right. let's start with jennifer lopez revealed. She and a rod might never get married. They already postponed their plans of twice. And on. andy cohen's deepen serious. Oh sees me deep shallow sirius. Xm show andy acid. She's going to ditch the wedding all together. Is there any part of you as i'm looking at kurt russell and goldie hawn do press right now for something has. Is there any part of you that dot has ever thought. Maybe we should do a golden kurt thing and just we've talked about that for sure. I mean our age. You know we've both been married before it's like. Do we get married do we. Not what does it mean for us and it just comes down to like personal. What do you want to do. There's definitely no rush though. So what. I'm gonna throw this to you guys. I've had my opinion for a very long time. Do you think they're going to get married or are they gonna pull a golden curtain. Oh i go with golden kurt. Why not i mean. Come with mary. what three times. They've both been married. Come on get the house. You got the kids. You got everything i mean you go in. It's the it's the next season i mean. You really need somebody to travel with <hes>. Give you some soup and push the wheelchair know. That sounds pretty. And all and i wish she was that girl. But she's not that chill. She is kinda sorta like me in the sense that we need that moment for our own peace of mind. You know what i mean. I think she was like. Yeah we talked about it in the sense that like you know. Yeah you know he brought it up in my. You know we kinda talked about it but nobody should do why. It's taking them so long though. Just because i always i've always felt that they are not going to get married and i also kind of feel like for them like if it's not broken don't if it's not broken don't fix it. That's that's that's saying. You know what i'm saying so i just feel like for them. There's no real reason they are already married. They already have a family life. As kim said they have the kids to have the houses that tried to buy a sports team would. Why does she care to walk down. An aisle for the fourth or fifth time. I think that's why we haven't seen it. But because she likes the ceremony she likes the moment. I think a lot of couples who are together and engage. Who don't care about those kinds of things have just rushed to the courthouse. Look at you. You did a four person waiting in your backyard. Because you didn't care about the pomp and circumstance and the lavish wedding and three hundred people in italy and having that whole moment for those to their power couple but they also know that they kind of open air bans to have that moment. What can they just have a big party. Why do we have to get the paper and it did. If we break up now we gotta split up. The houses. Divorce is too much you know what my easier to walk away from a curtain. Go the moment but if we get married and we walked down that aisle. It's going to take you not only a longer time. It's going away heavy on your heart to fuck up and walk off that. No that is true. But i think it's easier once you've done everything for her. I was you may need to go with. They're not going. Do i say. I want students win. There you go. I agree she should jerseys on. She's ready she just put that scorecard out there. This is what we're doing. I

"Alan Yang has, I think is I think very good at pivoting off of his central story to show you people you haven't seen before, like in that episode of master of none and have these people come in as stand ins, make you feel enormous empathy for them and have them eliminate something about the story that's being told and about the world that they're occupying. I found that episode enormously affecting and powerful. It is very much my favorite one of the show to me that was just an interesting look at like, okay, Alan Yang is the one who does that look on master of none now. That's true. I did have a moment when I was watching that. I agree that they're both very good in it, and I agree that there are a lot of really terrific moments in that. I did think that they hit the ending a little bit hard. It was a little on the nose. The ending, I think, tried a little hard to explain to you what it's moral was. But you know my issue with it wasn't that they. Away from the central characters. Because as you said, when they did that a master of non, it was wonderful. But to me when they didn't in master of non, it's still felt like the same show except just focused on different people. This felt so totally different to me. This felt like a short film drama, you know, with sort of, you know, comedy, dialogue, people, amusing each other, but ultimately it felt like drama. It didn't have any of the the kind of droll comedy that I feel like they're trying to imbue. The rest of the series with that, I don't think is always successful, but I felt like the other risk is when you put people who are really charismatic and interesting in a kind of a standalone episode. So like that you risk people reacting like I reacted, which is I'd rather go watch that. Sure. Like. I'd rather go watch the show with those people rather than the people that I'm actually watching. No, I thought it worked because it is a different take on regret and passivity. It's about these two people don't want to break what they have, and so they stick with it. And that's, that's exactly the point of the show. So it fit into medically tone poem. I, I'm just interest sunglasses, just gonna. Keep saying toes. I am interested in the thoughts of the thinkers behind this show even when the show didn't fully cohere for me, I just was intr-. I'm just interested in hearing Alan Yang's thoughts. So even when it didn't necessarily add up, I still appreciated the Embiid of it, but dollops of beauty throughout it. I still found myself really engaged by it. Yeah, I appreciate the ambition of it. I think that's fair to say, and I do think it's it's a big swing. And as I always say, I do appreciate a big swing. And I think when people are trying to get their arms around something that's really massive like this, that is always to be saluted. But at the same time when you come in with a big Prentice like that, I think you always have to ask the underlying question. Would this show be interesting if these people weren't dead? And to me, the answer was not particularly. She is. She is, but they together. I also think it's so tragic that in the first two episodes, they have Kim Whitley as best friend wasted on the show. So funny how she got relegated to block best friend and I was like, are we really doing this? Yes, she and I thought it was really interesting to see this dynamic between them in the church seen, especially it was. It was just like, this is weird. I don't know how I feel about it. It's like Maya Rudolph is half black, but like it's just playing with this weird dynamic that I don't think was fully explored. And I, I agree that Kim Whitley's is totally underused and I would love to see more ever. Yeah, I kind of felt like that second episode is my favorite one in the series and then kind of everything in it goes away. And I thought, all right, then you kind of our traipsing through. I don't know five more episodes of the two of them, and then one episode that has nothing to do with or whatever. Well, I'm the jerk..

I go, I hard time with you. That's a big red flag because I believe that women keep you going. Women, keep you strong. You need. You need a woman in there who's going to listen to be there who listens. You need somebody who's gonna check you. You need somebody who's gonna hold you accountable. You need those prayer warriors. But also they understand the behind the scenes of when we have to come off their carpet, and when we can get together and laugh and cry until our stories and just share it, you know, we leave our dinners. You so much stronger it is, oh my gosh, you feel recharge and refreshed. And I can't tell you how many times I have gone over the niece house, and you know, it's just been the sisters. They're ready to go. Okay. What what you need and just have wheat and cried and they sent me home and I've been, I'm good. I'm strong. They build you back. Yeah, and you welcome people into these circles. I've been to cookout at Sherry's like she girl who will meet you and say, what's your Email and put you on the list are put you on a holiday card because that's where we're call, do not call me clicking. You have your people that you have your circle that you, you know that you're very intimate with. You know, you're careful who you share your intimacy with, but also we're called to be a light to other people. We're called to mentor other people we call to open up because you could change somebody's world. You don't know how and and I, and at this point I'm just like I always look for other women that I can kind of encourage through this journey because this is a difficult journey, this entertainment industry navigating your way through with me too movement. And so I think I'm quite boring, but I think my story sometimes will help other women's. I'm like, you know, for me to keep my mouth shut and not reach out and not give any kind of advice that would do a disservice. All of us. And you don't forget people because I feel like when I see you do stand up, you're like, she's like those people look on the audience, hey, I know you hate like you're very phenomenal names. I'm I love. I love people in the love doing stand up. I don't remember names, but I remember faces all the time and then they're action, you know? And so as as I get older, I used to Debbie Allen when I first met her, she's call everybody, sweetie. Hey, sweetie. Hey, sweetie. Hey, sweetie. And at first it was I remember my first job I was working and I said, that's just real actually don't call everybody Swedish pass nine times, and my name is Cher. I was so mad. Debbie Allen. "I grew up in and we were all in Westchester suburbs. It's like, you know, they were blown away by how much land everyone had and they were like, you. This to go to LA. What is wrong on? Do you go look around? Do you see any like lights streetlife? I'm like, I want you to picture this plays in the dead of winter ice and snow yet curvy streets and it is boring. Yeah, there is nothing. They roll up sidewalks at eight pm time. Yeah. So, yeah, there was a curfew because I grew up sort of the Glendale Pasadena area, and we had like ten pm curfew. And I remember like going to the police say, oh, which is an old town Pasadena grew up on that Colorado strip. And we would go see a movie, you know, whatever it before it was the arc light. There was something else there. We'd all let out on dome. Yeah, yes, right. Like that. Yeah, we would all get out. And there would be police on the streets being like who's picking you up who's picking up. And that was like, well, is this weird like to truly felt like a neighborhood people were looking out for you? That's nice. It was nice. You don't get that anymore. You really when the police are saying, no, there a lot of things that. Not that. All right. So that's a bummer that there's no wedding. At the end. I was very excited that you're to come in and like give us a way learn. It's odd that I actually have worn a wedding dress on that show when moon Betty white was on last season. MandA. Was it last season? Yeah, last season. I, there's like a mix up. I try on Betty white wedding dress that's supposed to help me figure out what to do. And it's like a magic wedding dress. And so I try it on and Josh comes in and sees me in the dress like freaks out. And it's it's very funny, but it's funny that I wore wedding dress on the show and it had nothing to do with whether it was actually going to marry Josh or not. Now everyone's like, oh, are you going to do it? So I hope it happens. I just, I don't know. You're really close with the cast. Yeah. Yeah. It's funny. A lot of their neighbors actually like real, we when when I was on the show you were moving, I was moving. I was I, I was, I look for a house for like a year end up. I ended up finding a place like very close to where already was, which was funny. But Jonathan and I are like a few blocks away, which is really, we like never run into each other, which is. That is. So I ran into Kim Whitley at Home Depot on Christmas Eve. I remember being like, what are you? What are you doing here? It's like I'm buying like a head to buy something for my fire firepit like a gas, like a tank or something. So my family's coming over, we could sit by the fire, but. And you know, you can really see it from a mile away. She's got this gigantic fuzzy keychain hair, and she just screaming about something that's completely. She's not no, nothing little. So all right, so no. So Amy and bent racks. Nothing gets wrapped up this very disappointing. It's. I mean, we're really, really hoping that movie happened so we can wrap all this. I think we need to all right in and demand yet. I know, yes, I would love to what show. So do you know what you're doing next? I just finished working on a Netflix show called the Kaminsky method that comes out in a couple a couple of months. I believe maybe Tober, but it's it's Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin and it's about I grew up with his kids. Oh, really? Oh my gosh, Tony, y'all. Very cool. Yeah, there. I mean, the two of them are. So I was saying earlier, it's weird to call them cute. But there. Alan Arkin is like the cutest person I've ever seen joking and dancing and just full of energy and and they're wonderful. And it's Michael Douglas plays, like sort of an aging acting coach is trying to figure out what he's doing. The last, you know, sort of years of his life before he retires, and and he's taking on this new class of students in his acting class..
