We've developed a very good relationship. Mr. Trump there now accompanied by the South Korean president covering the Kim, Trump, a handshake meeting to come CBS news, White House correspondent we Jiang will meet at the DMZ. They do not have a set agenda, because this will be a very quick meeting and remember the last time these two men met face to face talks to denuclearize. The Korean peninsula actually fell apart. It was also here in Asia and Hanoi Vietnam, and they walked away without a deal without able to set any terms, but that does not mean diplomacy hasn't been

"Reiterate something that I said on yesterday's program. I even tweeted this out several times in different forms. It's really sad that some are hoping that Trump's meeting with Kim Jong own is a failure. Just because it's President Trump. That's just. The state of political discourse in this country that any kind of a successful summit where the North Korean risk can be minimized at the least possible concessions granted by us. The United States is a good thing for all of us. Whether you like President Trump or whether you don't like President Trump, and it's just sad that some wanna see President Trump failed. Just because it's President Trump. Did I tweeted out again about three hours ago that every American should hope for a very successful at real Donald Trump, Kim Jong UN meeting. Unfortunately, many wanna see Trump failed because he's Trump this buddy. And I've been very clear as well. This meeting must this meeting has to include real concessions that would be verifiable by the North Koreans. Not just oh, here's a word will work not because they're known liars. And I don't an all watered down. The fact that Kim Jong Hoon is a nasty dictator in the. In the lineage of his grandfather's father. And now he running the country. You're murdering his own people, oppressing his own people. Many of the the most of the population living essentially in the dark ages. Foraging for bugs and wild leaves the door dirt or bark in some cases for nutrition, and it's just a it's a rough place and you look around. Listen, Vietnam, communist via labs, a communist government. But I mean, look what they've done. They've followed essentially the Chinese model where you use the spoils, and you exploitive capitalism, but it still remains under communist control, which also has a gigantic thumbs on the people, and of course, the Kerr tailing of free, speech, etc. Which I find this gusting an appalling. And that sort of the the the balance that's the the the issue that we way because you'll look at the amount of manufacturing in Vietnam. Yeah. Lever? Not a lot of manufacturing has gotten to expensive in China. Because you know, you have a burgeoning middle class in China. So costs have gone up and a lot of companies have moved moved manufacturing to Vietnam where labor is cheaper than the expensive labor or the labor costs increasing in China. But again, it's the same type model, you have this disparity where you know, you you still have a communist oppressive government, but they're using the benefits of capitalism, and we all know that capitalism has been phenomenal for this planet. How capitalism has brought more people out of poverty than anything else. But. Again. I I want to see a successful summit here in in Vietnam. I don't wanna see President Trump give away the farm. He can't give away too much. And hopefully, there is a game plan that will be followed. And we'll walk away with some real results. But again, I'm always suspicious of the North Koreans in the sense that they have screwed around with us. They've messed with President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, and now I don't wanna see President Trump roped into the same game of talking talking or promising in a we deliver we give them benefit. And then they end up hosing us in the end. I don't wanna see that that happened. So time will tell you. I've got a little more on the North Korean situation with Trump. I want to get to that here. Also, Michael Cohen, the president's good friend and personal attorney at one point for a long time for what a decade or so. And of course, his testimony. On Capitol Hill today tomorrow and on Thursday. And I also had made a mention about that on Twitter that it's a shame that that these two events are intersecting. It's a shame. I call I called it. I put a tweet out which I thought was pretty good. My my header was radioactive nuclear talks in Hanoi between at real Donald Trump and Kim Jong UN and the indications that Michael Cohen is about to go nuclear in these these c- congressional hearings. And I said that it and what I just said it's a shame that these two issues aren't the same time, and they're intersecting. Well, what can only wonder if that was somewhat intentional on the part of the Democrats? Well, listen, the Democrats you've got Michael Cohen who's testifying before the house ama- Senate, and you've got one Senate committee. Of course, the Senate committees are run by Republicans because Republicans still control the Senate, but the house committees are run by Democrats since the Democrats took the house. And of course, we have the Senate intelligence committee hearing that's ongoing right now. And of course, that's a closed door hearing. We have oversight in the house that is going to be the public open-door televised meeting tomorrow, which already it's being suggested that it's gonna be some entertainment value. There must watch TV. What is calling to say? He's got to also remember that Cohen is unknown liar. Cohen did not tell the truth Cohen is going. Going to prison for three years beginning in may, partly because he did not tell the truth. And then of course on Thursday. The house has another crack it'll be the house intelligence committee, and that will also be closed door on Thursday. I want to get into all those details and just a bit back over to the Trump issue and the president in Vietnam in Hanoi with this summit on a lighter note on a little bit of a lighter note, and I was. I was just really upset to see this. And this also makes by point might you. You have a communist government oppression. Can you believe we got a guy here? Just trying to make a few bucks. The Kim Jong own impersonator has been deported. The Vietnamese through the Kim Jong own impersonator out of the country. Yeah. I saw the the story over the weekend. I guess he was there last week. Trying to garner some oppress, but this Kim Jong UN impersonator, you might have seen his picture last summer because he also showed up in Singapore. I'm talking about Howard ex that's the name that he goes by Howard ex. And he happens to be a resident of Hong Kong, and he was apparently deported over the weekend. They throw them out of Vietnam before Kim Jong Hoon. And of course, he's the d'appel ganger for Kim Jong when he looks very close my haircut. The same Kim Jong UN is low fat this guy if he really wants to nail the part, he probably needs the gorge, a little more some food and and get a little more next fat going on here. But there is a definite resemblance. They throw out of the country. They deported him Howard ex. And he had a fake summit. Last week at the end of last week. He had a fake summit in Hanoi with the Trump impersonated because remember last summer at the Singapore summit you had this Canadian guy believe it or not he's a Canadian Donald Trump, look alike, and they did the photo-op and they tried to drum up publicity by being together in Singapore. And now the Vietnamese they staged this fake summit. And they were they were tossed out. They were told to quote cease and desist all of their political satire. Well that right. There is certainly testament to the fact that you're not dealing with the press freedom or freedom of the press, or you know, satire in Vietnam. And he was told this Howard ex was told that his visa is now invalid, that's it. Yeah. So he said that satires apocryphal weapon against any dictatorship. They're scared of a couple of guys that look like the real thing. And well, they they toss them out. We're working toward peace through negotiations with dialogue. We wanna help North Korea. Of course, that's what Mr White said. Who's the Trump impersonator who is the Canadian sunsets? Tyrod sucks they throw the impersonators out of the country. And I know for sure they through the Kim Jong UN impersonator, this Howard ex Vietnam. Which certainly lends to the argument that this is a communist government still with oppressive tactics lack of freedom of the press and transparency, and that's certainly a shame. I did see all the fanfare, or you know, there was a problem. I did see all the fanfare that Kim Jong owns train arrived this bulletproof train. So they say which made this trek from Pyongyang North into China and then having to loop around and then go back down through. China and into or close to Vietnam. And then I guess he wrote a in a in a car or limo for the remainder of the trip. He had to go on a twenty five hundred mile train ride slash car ride twenty five hundred miles that took like two and a half days for this happened. Why why did Kim Jong own? Not fly. I just want to fly little or Kelly humor there. I'll tell you. Why in just a second? And it's a barrister Elliott, just it's it lends to the problems that this country has in the fact of their crumbling old ancient infrastructure, and you got to hear why took the train remember last time. He bought a plane or they paid for a plane. Maybe they didn't pay their Bill because to Singapore, Kim Jong Hoon flew on an Air China seven four seven, but the the new reason why it's pretty embarrassing, and I'll get into that in just a bit. And then the press including Jimmy Kosta, another problem in Hanoi. Vietnam today, which we'll get into those details in just a second. And then of course, your phone calls are welcome eight hundred eight zero one eighty nine ninety nine eight hundred eight zero one eighty nine ninety nine. Nine the nationwide number here on Schnitt. "So what is the Trump administration's response to all of this breaking this morning US hopes Kim Trump summit could take place in early two thousand nineteen. I I don't know to. Honestly, I don't know what to say is the motivating factor here. It makes no sense to me. I I think that it cuts against everything that President Trump has purported to be on foreign policy. So we've got the wall situation falling apart from we've got the Syrian situation falling apart from got the North Korean situation falling apart from him. What do all of these have in common, President Trump build himself as a man who would not cave, and what we've seen in the past week is caving and caving and caving and caving Mr President stands strong, your things you promised you promised the American people safe that promise means more than a dumb promise to remove troops at whim from a place in the world where the troops were actually doing some good and abandoning our allies in the process, you made a promise to build the wall, so build the wall. All of this is I it's got to be maddening for for Trump supporters. It should be maddening Trump supporters. And if not if you're Trump supporter, you should ask yourself why or not Madden are you're not mad because we're so invested in President Trump just as a person that we don't care what he does politically or because we've convinced ourselves that every choice is a binary that we can't push President Trump for better that every time something President Trump does is wrong or bad that we have. But the Democrats would be worse. The Democrats aren't an office right now. You know, who is a guy named President Trump means it's his job to do what he said he was going to do. I have a couple more notes about this. And then I want to get to the latest on the Trump legal barrage. The the the Muller investigation coming after President Trump again very bad week for for the president. We'll get to all of that. In just one second. I go over to daily wear dot com.
