"Over in Queens, the Watson, the Parkers or having a nice brunch with a side of bombshell nays selling the house checking up with and Watson just like Vero called a couple of episodes ago however may shake into your core when she sees the headline in the paper detailing the reemergence of that old crow which peaks peters interest. This is another example of off may trying to tell Peter about her and Anna's relationship and. Peter just like immediately thinking about himself you don't want us to be lonely now to you. Of course, not it's just this is where I grew up with uncle. Ben. After my parents died, I should say you're half right bureau you said that one of the lead move in with the other and then give the money of selling the house to the kids But here they're going to do that at not give them. He'll just be investigated aged tico in Brussels sprouts marital. AIDS. Every all that sort of good stuff. Wait a second Merrill. AIDS hey what. I'd just checking. I'm glad that Anna Watson sticking with their strategy being a colossal bitch, but it does raise a good point that peters objection here doesn't really make any goddamn sense i. know it's just a way to remind the audience about his living situation and the parents are missing stuff but like you could have spun it as are you sure you're okay leaving all these memories like him saying that just doesn't doesn't resonate at all with me. Now I agree when my parents sold their house like you know, I'm sad to see it go. But like it was more them, that was attached to the house. Are you GONNA be okay leaving Any here's complaining to Mary Jane about this whole situation as usual in says. Kim Thinking about himself and I am Peter's wife now that doesn't mean I have to like him. He's GonNa. Be More quiet and is just like no shut up. I'm Peter's wife now finally stop it. Stop IT GET SOME HELP This crash right and aunt may is in the other room should dropped a tray or some shit and. Peter comes in and he's like suspicious instantly I've seen on my upset never agitated vis. Those are sinning. Argue that if you were to rank them by strongest of emotion, upset is worse than agitated like. That was that even mean like she's upset but never agitated the chew. So flustered, she's nearly trebled like what the hell are you talking about some writing reading the source? Well. It's obvious with the fucking names and. All the. Thing. Free Shadow to rhyme the zone dot. com, and the source. So see for me though I thought that. May finally became lucid and read the date on the newspaper and realized she missed the last thirty years of life because she was driving. Because with Anna there now clear sober relationship. Well, they go on the show like upset in the May show the newspaper I'm like what the? Nineteen ninety-seven. The future is now. I haven't made any investments and technology. But, of course, the parkers aren't the only ones to see the news. Big Willie Fisk seems to have some hidden knowledge about this mysterious scientists and the secrets he might be holding. He landed decide they'll need to free the chameleon from shield, HQ, in order to acquire Dr Karadzic and so planned to wage war by reforming the insidious six. Chameleon. Rhino DOC shocker in the Scorpion with new edition. The Vulture Landon. Here's talking to kingpin and he actually does in refers to him as kingpin Mike. Aren't you guys like hanging out all the time is there no familiarity this point like hey willy? Hundred agree with what you're doing here. Bob Boy Really. Mr Fisk or just like Wilson what are you doing? You saw I. Mean he chose the name so I guess he's probably into it. I think the only person who called him wills like Wilson was probably Vanessa, and now it's like awkward. Yeah that could be true. He he says London I am puzzled. This scientists holds the key to one of the greatest powers mankind you mean, yes all the Lebanon herbs and spices. That's the whole arc of his bucking series. Now, headshot they used for God's sake, is pretty funny to me. Now that you've zoomed in on it and get a full blown full screen shot, he's got these kind of puppy dog eyes and the ways looking at the camera connor reminds me of like Oh me. I'm a bad boy who came up with a doomsday device like it looks like Michael Moebius if you took a shower? No, it was like mark. Amorebieta, thirty years later. I. Guess. I have bastards from shaking hands with the kingpin gets it on, and then the best part is landings is responses you must be joking. King probably never you. To Be Fair Shield headquarters isn't impregnable because they already broke in. So that's a good point. What is this? What is this continuity like? Speaking of clack of continuity kingpin says he needs these six forgotten warriors. One of them just worked for his enemy. Yeah he says that. Like why would the Scorpion agree to work for kingpins? Does he says they were forgotten by the world driven underground. He was literally working for silver main in the kingpin, ripped off his tail and threw him a city block king. Out of that courtyard, he's like Sia I wrote Kim. Yeah. Kingpins talking he's going through his computer and there's all this footage of the sinister Asari insidious six. Get that fucking footage. "Need be all Wayne's have been used successfully so far this weekend, especially the outer two lanes at this end closest to the wall. That is where that PJ one traction compound has been lady and can provide more grip than the bottom of the racetrack. Ultimately, there are plenty of options for these drivers race on, depending on where they are most comfortable. We'll have it all covered two terms three and four this afternoon as we get set to go green flag racing in another couple of laps, 312 miles. 156 laps the distance, So let's get a final report from pit road on what we might expect from down there this afternoon. This report from Pit Road is presented by O'Reilly Autoparts Winston Kelly. Well, Alex Woe be it from me to disagree with the Hall of Famer, but I'll tell you what we saw some guys that got off sequence. And it worked out for him yesterday. While we don't have that competition, caution that lap number 15 Todd Gordon took advantage of. I think we're going to see some guys when we have these different caution flags that they're going to do different things we saw left side tires right side. Four tires, even some fuels and go But with the 40 laps are being able to go somewhere between 45 48 lamps on Sunoco fuel, we're going to be able to go all the way for each of the 1st 2 stages. And then, as we showed yesterday, that window opened up. They came in a lap number 107 and went all the way into overtime. So Lenny of time to make some adjustments here on pit road, but also to do some different things, and I look for him to do that. What's going to be the trigger is when they have caution flags or when we have caution flags Kim could about tire. Where what do you expect? Will it be different? How many do they have to hone in on the tyres? Teams have six sets just like yesterday's race, one on the car five in the box. Trying to get through today's 400 kilometers, not a lot of wear yesterday, most of tires held up for the entirety of the run the first part of yesterday's race. We saw mainly four tire stops, however, as the team's became more comfortable with the tire they were given. And as the Lapps wound down We saw that mix of strategies that Winston was talking about teams bared it up with four tired to tire and some fuel only stops. So because track position is so important at Michigan and because the tires have held up so far this weekend we accept expect the same today. We get a caution in those final stages and final laps we could see another mix of strategies with team scanned billing on what they do with tires in order to gain spots on pit road. Another thing to keep in mind did they make the correct adjustments. From where their car was handling yesterday, taking into account. It's a lot warmer here this afternoon. We'll have to wait and see will be covering all the action here on pit road Now back to Jeff Struggle announced in the booth. Thanks so much, Kim Think O'Reilly Auto.

"Adopted in our first child, I remember being so excited, and then also same as you heather thing of her birth, Mom and The day before Mother's Day is National Birth Mother's Day. Where MOMS who have given up their kids for adoption can be honored and I just I would love to sit down. I would love to sit down and talk to Sonny's mom, but we have a closed adoption so expecting that but I would love to be able to sit down with a birth mother WHO's given up their child for adoption just year how they feel on that day. So I'm really excited that we're talking with Katie Jameson. About this topic. How introduced the topic yet? No. Absolutely! Yeah, so Katie is going to be on to talk about grief and she says she she has lost a child so not as a birth mom, perspective, but. Having lost her child. She will be talking about grief on Mother's Day and. I think fate. You should talk to Augsburg. Bombers because I would like to, but it always feels like I would. You. But I'd like to go one online about it I. Bet she would I like her lot. into this, and maybe she's like no, please upstate back. It always feels like with birth. Mom Steph. I've I've said it's not. It's just such a unique relationship in that she's not my friend. And, she's not my family. It's like something different ends. As important. You know so I'm not gonNA. SIT DOWN! Have a girlfriend talk with her. and. Then I'm also not going to be like. Come to Christmas, right, but both things are. There's a place somehow and then also. With recognizing birth MOMS, I have I'm very vocal about my love towards birth mothers, and our kids birthdays in particular, and and I have a friend who's adopted and she was last year. It was so good to hear this from her. She said I hear you talk about how much you love your kids. Birth months and I can't get on board with that. Because of the actions, my son's birth mother has taken and continues to take. She said I actually have a very deep negative feeling towards her, and I, don't eat i. like what are your thoughts on that? And it was this moment of like Oh. Yeah, you're actually allowed to feel that to. English like I'm so angry at everything she has done in did while he was while she was pregnant. That is set that set him up to have a harder life. Right? Don't have love for her like. I think I was just feel like well. Kim Thinking about my kid. To Kid it is, it doesn't matter I believe and this is my experience with talking to adoptees adult adoptees right like for this particular person for her son when he as he gets older, and when he's an adult, it doesn't matter. Who has birth mom is and the actions and decisions. She's made he is going to want to love her. And so, how do you hold your child? Well, you know like. In and creates. Not Create, but foster relationship that. Or even idea of a person that is not going to feel as burdensome to your child, but there's still some honesty right though I. Just it's this mother had a lot to hold. Much to hold I feel like it's not, I was GONNA, say case by case that feels a little bit even incentive I feel like it's person a person, but to be able to teach non resentment I. I don't know I. Just feel sad for your friend. Obviously feel what you want to feel. You're always allowed to do what you want to feel, but that's also carrying Anger is hard. Yeah, you know and that's. That's it. I feel like I. Feel like this is a good transition into talking about. MOMS, you're going through grief or carrying for your first someone. Who's going through grief because it is. Just what you were talking about heather, it's so messy. It's really uncomfortable, and you don't always know what to do. And in in the same sort of like you know, it is each experience. It sounds like as you're talking about these the each adoption. It's a different experience with the different birth mother. It's a different story that your child has come into your life with, and I feel like. Grief is that we to and entering into it with a friend who is going through it or if you're going through grief We I think this interview that we have with Katie is so profound just because she's able to kind of put that into words how what she needed in losing her child, and how it wasn't tidy, and what she was given wasn't tidy, but it was also. Good. And Yeah I think it's important to be able to see it that way There's not like a direct path definitely. So let's get. Let's get right to it. We are very excited and honored to get to bring in our guests for this episode. Her name is Katie Jameson and I'm I'm just going to get straight into the conversation with her and we're going to let you know about got from a listener. But. Let's just bring her on so Katie Hi. "Sense really when you walk in your store now. So I'm a new customer. I walk in and is it. The idea is kind of I were at one side sunglasses versus the other and then toward the back you can do. The eye exams. Is that the premise of how you kind of laid out well. The premise is the eye. Exams are done towards the rear. Their Ability Chair But but when you walk in there really is no visual. Strategy to wear sunglasses are It's not it we've gotta by Brand Dan we got it by design My wife is hurry Conscious of how she markets and designs you know the the lay out of of the high wear But you'll see some of the sunglasses group together like you know it's grouped together but some of the other ones are kind of spread out all over but we've got close to a thousand pieces. A thousand pieces. Wow Yeah we teeter. But it's a huge variety. We teeter between the low eight hundred fifty two. You know a little over a thousand pieces at any given time. So what point did you decide that you we needed to add the eye exam aspect too. I think when you first met we talked a little bit about this and I think that wasn't really the original business plan. Correct talk when Berkeley I were opened up You know in two thousand ten My wife was looking to sell. Eyewear work with you on the fashioned side of it She She she loved. You know the I wear the hardware if you will side of the business and you you know less love for you. Know the eye exams and but She saw that we had to eventually do that. The original business plan had it in there as a model it. Just we didn't WANNA pull that trigger until it was the right time and You know After being open eight years we had a pretty sick clientele list and It was easy at that point to reach out to them. And say you know how you loved us for you know buying your eyewear how come in you know and seeing our doctors and we have to really great doctors. Has that helped your business. Then you feel like doing that doctors and that way. Yeah Yeah. We're now where we can kind of do it. Full full service Sometimes people were a little bit surprised maybe even a little bit put off when you call up and said I wanNA make an appointment. You said we didn't do eye exams but you can buy your eye. We're here well. I had one lady years ago. Hey well that's silly well. It wasn't socially because thousands of people did and We just knew that eventually it was going GonNa come down to that. I'd like to retire one day and I'd like to think that you know a doctor will come in and you know in May to happen for us. Sure right right now for a while but you come in and Ri- big check and then you can go down to key west and live the Margarita. Ville Life Sane. Maybe I don't have to go as far as key West I can stop in Fort Lauderdale. Oh Okay Hollywood. Yeah okay. That's realistic. I was sick with Key West. But that's me you okay. That's where you you WANNA go. Once I mean I rarely go there. The Fort Lauderdale. Okay wow you could have like a whole episode on this probably right away so jeff tell me a little bit about the the kind of business strategy side or kind of how are you guys are trying to have atomic dog look in the local market versus other restaurants. Well our liquor license has definitely played a big part in so what was the reasoning of adding a liquor license into it. I'll admit I don't i. I know you ever license. I haven't had a drink there because I probably mainly done it. From what lunch perspective was that to try to grow your dinner business correct we expanded our our. There's an added a liquor license. We were only opened for of M- eleven to two. Yeah I think that was my challenge. The first couple of years I've been in Berkeley a little over four years now when I first I came in a lot of times I would i. I work from home and I don't always go out for lunch and then my wife and I would go out and be like oh I wanna go on atomic dog sometime but the now for dinner and and I think of the six times I've been in there five of them now have been at the dinner time frame good at the time the come yeah. We are venturing in music. We have have shows now. We have a poetry event tomorrow night with M. L. Liebler. He's a very well known. Metro Detroit poet and professor We have a great museum. It makes you more a better way to market self as a poet if you say you're a professor doesn't it sound smarter professor poet. Yeah he's a he's a garbage man poet I must small business owner and I on the side. I've taught marketing so I'd always say like when I'm running my beer to her business monitor with drunk the people and they're like what else do you do do. I'm an adjunct professor of marketing. And then they look at you totally different when you say it that way so okay so you guys have a poet coming in and you're doing some music poetry and I believe this time is I'll look it up until your assistant. Look it up as your as your on live on his eerie. WE'RE NOT GONNA ask Siri because I don't know her and I aren't friends right now so anyway. We are having a great night tomorrow night. Is I forgot to tell you. That's the s the theme. So they're gonNA just. I'm not sure where to go from that. But it's hosted by Shelley Lions Mack. Okay Okay and it's anybody who wants to come up there and talk. They can't we do open MIC nights. So if you have play instruments this is relatively new since we started this in say September or novell cry. Oh yeah very recent than very cool. It's great business for us and we we stay open later. So how do you guys stay open when you're doing that. This'll be from seven PM until nine PM. Scabby Open tomorrow from eleven to we'd take a little break remember. There's only six employees police who at the atomic dog and then we'll reopen from five until nine or nine thirty. I mean if people are so they're having fun at nine nine thirty. I'll stay open for a little bit. So are you seeing Seen people respond to that are they starting to come at night starting to get a feel for it. Yes it but every day is evident mystery. He never know. Unfortunately our location isn't the best for people who if you want to see a building you're just you're GONNA die. You're not really looking for it. You're not gonNA see it But people have been coming in the door more and more. We've been doing advertising doing so. In what ways are you advertising through. Ferndale friends we've thrown a few ads in there with some coupons through I I did a radio radio broadcasts last year. I think the Chuck Bennett Show. It was okay and then we did something on Channel Four live in. Did you do live in the region. Do Live with Jason Kerr. Yeah I've done live in the DEA a couple of times on air of Beer and candy paring back in. When was that like October? uh-huh oh you totally. I had An October fest beer with peanut butter cups. Subways listen to this. Go try that when October. Fest Beers come around again. The the Maltese of the October fest. Beer plays really well with the peanut butter taste and the chocolate taste of a resistant. buttercup sexually did that. Live on air. Jason Kerr and what's what's the not taty but the other one. That does the Blonde Kim Thinking Kim. Yeah it was those two that day and that was a lot of fun. That's a that's a fun format Matt. It's an interesting format because when you go on their ten to eleven. Am so you go down to that studio in the city. Don't you and it's not like you're getting up at five in the morning to get to the studio to do like five minutes on air. Yeah you gotta go there and like when we went there. I went with our chef. Gary they brought this huge huge mobile grill to us. It was on my goodness is it was. It was incredible. It's unreal. I was watching the weather. Report live like ten feet away from him. It was a different experience as you're sitting in that green room there and you kind of watch the stuff happen And I was like I was super nervous. Oh first time I did a live on TV type of appearance of Don Lots podcast shows and radio shows and that's improve type stuff. This is totally different though. When you do it live and you see stuff that you normally see on TV and you see it? There is is because of the video camera right. Yeah see I'm acting like I don't even see it like I'm just so natural right. You've ever had to do that. Any you've done some live on air interviews before if your business a couple couple not too many but You know every time is a new experience with that it is kind. I never know you never know what they're gonNA say my thing always if they get my business name right in my name right. I'm pretty content with that. I could give so many stories over the years. Where where it's like today we're GonNa Interview Blah Blah and his business Blah Blah Blah and? Then they totally say the name wrong just like Oh man like. Did you read anything anything or are you in a position to correct them. Yeah that's always what. I wonder right because it's like the first time they're going to hear you talk now on that interview. What do you say that like? You said my name wrong. Business Name. Wrong Jennifer's kind of Nano had like you can okay okay. It's so rare that it gets done correctly. Luckily that I I'm excited when it does happen correctly. I'm more surprised when it happens correctly. Live in the totally professional was all great journal line. Yeah Yeah but when I'm on like Bob's beer show or something I think was one I was on before like the knows what they're going to say so or like a local podcast Haad cash show like you never know what they're gonNA say local podcast show right. I know I've always walked away wondering why didn't I say something different than what I said. The best thing and you should do is should always listen to it again and go Okay next time I do that. I'm going to try to sound like blank right i. I got taped a lot of times. I listened to myself on video a Lotta Times or on a recording La Times before I felt like I sounded a little more Official and Professional. And but you have those good days as in bad days like it comes in waves like nerve wracking. It's cool when you guys are talking and then you look at me and asked me a question like oh no all right. What are in the room? Oh my gosh. That's what's going to happen in my mind. Yeah it's just always good practices kind of the more you do it the more. It seems natural. Maybe easy for me to say that since I I work as a tour guide ride but even tour guides when you put a camera in front of us. Kind of sit there with the headlight. Look a beer guide. Usually the beer tour guides drunk so so then he's a little more at ease. I remember one time I was at a beer festival in grand rapids in the data. Winner the winner. Beer will Michigan. Bruce Kill does every year as a bunch of friends. And right at the end of this five hour drink fest. I don't know how a camera got put in front of me but it did and they asked me some questions and I walked when I go. Oh my gosh. I can't believe like why did I even start talking. Because I had to be very intoxicated at the time and now have this rule of friends. I call them handlers. "Eventually Kim stared through the lens of a camera at police officer taking her picture Coen to turn to the left. This. Chase has often brought her to dark embarrassing places. So she asked us not to use her last name this latest crash in her search for normal started one day last year when she went wine tasting with a friend in cinema was on an x speed. And at one point shooter friend got into an argument in the we started arguing Kim thought someone was following behind us. She was utterly convinced. She was being chased literally thought I was being chased. And so she had to get away. He pulled over and I jumped out of the car and started running, and I literally ran a mile at poison oak from head to toe. I had bruises cuts through water from the tree, and I was literally running for my life in my head. I was running from Kim was soaking wet when she walked into a woman's house woke her up out of bed and ask for help. I thought I went in there innocently and said I need help to beers of hers from refrigerator and said I needed help the woman went to call the police that she was worried about me. I didn't think that was the kind of help sure needed. So she left hitting lost on the way back. She found another woman's guest house known these there she's pulled up in bed and went to sleep Goldilocks style spending. The night Kim says she just wanted to get warm, but then I woke up and stole her car. I was totally fame and thought that the rest of the world was wrong. And I was fine. But now looking back, I know it's was crazy. As totally crazy. There are so many stories like this from people who are so high. They believe they're being chased or watched or otherwise endanger to a person on the street. They look mentally ill. Nine one one. I got a white male. "Okay. That is a Steven Crowder with the peace prize song. Everybody. Gets a peace prize. But that was under the Obama. You got a piece prize eating before he even did anything. He got a peace prize before you even started drowning in killing. Isis y'all got a peace prize? Even though he ended up destroying Libya. Moammar kadhafi. Obama got a peace prize. Maria Barreda realm o- on Fox News was talking. Also, how you know what the president walking out of this out of this summit reminded her of another great president watching this closely for a potential deal to get done. What is the reaction this morning, not a major market impact on the North Korean news? Most observers will say that this is a positive that it shows the Donald Trump is not afraid to walk away from a deal. If it's not a good deal for the United States. It would have been a lot worse had he's agreed to something. Whereas they would remove the sanctions, and then we would only get a partial denuclearization. So the the Kim Jong UN's people apparently were willing to give up some of their sites, but not all so the president walked away. I think this is largely a positive they're comparing this to Reagan. Downright regular Rajkovic. The the North Korean people. Now, they may live in a vacuum. But chairman Kim does not. Here's what happens when I put on my thinking hat. Lanny Davis was identified during the hearing yesterday as the person who said it all up, it was postponed, and then curry curiously it was rescheduled to coincide with the summit. That hearing yesterday was set up to make President Trump. Look like a weakened leader. There were a lot of possible charges against Trump thrown around but not one actual illegal at by Trump was disclosed. So chairman Kim thinks this guy needs a victory. I mean, he's getting beat up at home. It's gotta bring some. He's gotta bring home some kind of bacon is. So he makes a big grab. But. Trump's credit? President Trump kept his word and he walked away. Like he said he would. And what the media's not telling you is that the United States of America has been blessed with a strong leader at last if Trump were in in it for personal gain. He would have given in to take credit for an agreement. Even if it wasn't the best for our country, sorta like what Obama and John Kerry did with Iran. On the flip side of the coin. Cohen had better be careful because he's now in the Clintons fear of influence. He does he does that handle this pressure? Very very well. He could quickly become a liability. And I'm pretty sure Adam Schiff was not pleased with the disclosure of the meeting. He had with Cohen. I'll tell you something else. The Gambino mob air predicts that Michael Cohen get wacked in prison. This is coming from the Daily Mail online. Air to the Gambino crime family has issued a stark warning to Michael Cohen predicting that the president's former personal attorney may face retaliation behind bars over his congressional testimony. A message for Michael Cohen he- better keep his mouth shut this Giovanni can be no right better. Keep it shut that it makes love Trump, and they hate rats if he wants to get out alive, you better keep his mouth shut about Trump. Maybe co was should have been asking the Democrats in congress for protection while he's in prison. It does seem to me that the Trump family is the problem here. Democrats. Are dedicated to destroy President Trump. They want him to fail regardless of what it's costing this country. The real power in the party right now is hiding behind the minority members of congress. Diane Feinstein worked in the background in the cavenaugh case. Remember that chaos? You didn't actually see her taking the fall for Lanny Davis worked congress to have dear old Elijah Cummings may Cohen the first test of his chairmanship, and it didn't go. Well, look bad. And who prepa Cohen? Well, he and his attorneys have been meeting with the Mueller group for two years. And yesterday Cohen admitted that shift prepared for the line of questioning that the Democrats were we're going to pursue. It was all a big fat setup. A moment in history. Had an opportunity and the Democrats threw shade on with old arguments. Now, the mainstream media gets to say that Trump failed with North Korea. You know? I don't think I don't think. That's how it went. I don't think that's how it played out. And I even think that the the media and the Democrats realize that they're going to have a very hard time spinning this because in the back of their mind, they have to understand, you know, what this thing may still be on. And the president may he so far has done. What no other American presidents presidents have been able to deal with North Korea. So I'm not willing to say that this yesterday was a failure. But what everybody is beginning to realize that the Democrats are dirty and they're playing dirty. And the fact that this hearing yesterday's hearing fell on the same day as the summit Vietnam is not a coincidence. It is part and partial of the resistance movement. And I got I got a I think the American people are getting kind of tired of the resistance movement. Maybe that's why the president is not suffering in the polls one thing is for sure the whole Russian collusion there too. Has fallen apart. And all they have now with ticky tack stuff and the full. I mean, the undisciplined Democrats were on full display yesterday. It's it's a time will actually here's we're going to do. I'm going to demonstrate that to you because between Cohen yesterday and a vote that came out on on gun safety. The Democrats now are meeting behind closed doors because their caucuses are a mess. We'll talk about that at six twenty. Fourteen minutes after the hour time for east side, west.

Introducing the measure and speaking about the separation of powers and the importance of our constitution, she sounded like Republicans used to talk. If it clears the house, the resolution faces an uncertain fate in the GOP led Senate, President Trump in North Korean leader, Kim Jong UN are in Hanoi had of their second summit. Former national security official Michael Anton wonders if Trump can't assess if a shift in North Korean attitudes is taking place this question of dangling carrots about economic development in front of them. It really boils down to whether Kim thinks that economic development money capitalism prosperity is a better guarantor regime survival. Than a nuclear program. The summit is aimed at working toward the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and certain security guarantees President Trump's former personal lawyer in so-called fixers behind closed doors with members of the Senate intelligence committee today, it's the first of three days of tough testimony for Michael Cohen on Capitol Hill. "Spend a lotta time that we did not spend. This is probably the least amount of time. We've been able to spend on the Super Bowl coming up which is. Of course this weekend, and you'll be able to join the WJR sports team headed up by our own WGN sports director, Steve Courtney, that'd be broadcasting. Live from soaring eagle casino about pleasant from four to six on Super Bowl Sunday. And we've been able to talk about a lot. But here's something that's a fascinating. We know that we like to eat during the Super Bowl. And so Google trends releases its yearly list of the most googled recipes ahead of the big game. And I think some of the findings are pretty surprising. Oh, I didn't see this. Well, let me tell you a dip still the most searched Super Bowl food overall. That makes sense. Whether it's seven layer dip in Rhode Island or buffalo chicken dip in Connecticut, and Kansas they have it by state. What's most Google food? Would you guess what? The most Google Super Bowl food is for the great state of Michigan off. It's not a dip. I I wouldn't know. I guess this Kim thought I Kim thought I cheated and just said chicken wings in my headphones. I didn't say chicken wings. I said pizza, and even I was surprised, but in fact in Michigan the most googled item heading toward the Super Bowl for asking questions recipes how to do it. Whatever we googled pizza. But I gotta be proud of Michigan with pizza because in Oregon they googled banana bread brother what that nothing says Super Bowl like banana. Nothing against a banana bread. Sweet Marie always made the best banana bread nothing better than warm slice of banana bread with real butter on it. Oh with your Miller lite. Yeah. Oh, oh, wait a minute. Well, that's my point. It doesn't make sense. Of course. Not. I don't let ridiculous. But but here in Michigan. So people are are crazy about making their own pizza. I guess which is surprising. That's pizzas to choose fresher. Where they do the work and get the pizzas to us. The other surprising items are number of places googling cakes and cupcakes. New Hampshire cakes and cupcakes South Dakota cupcakes. Tennessee cake, Wyoming cake. It's rather astounding to me now. Delaware, very specifically chocolate. Peanut butter cake. The Southland will have coconut cakes. That's big down south. Yeah. They have a sweet tooth going on. I was a little bit surprised the weirdest one really besides, you know, banana bread cakes and cupcakes for Super Bowl. Remember the Mississippi residents. I think have all puns intended, taking the cake with their quest. They have googled how to make granola bars for the game. Granola bars are not known as being a game day staple except at. Aunt's house right for a little yogurt there. An animal down to Yaser city. Let's have a Super Bowl party here the bars and yogurt. Anyway, Iowans were curious about Irish stew. And I'm curious about why Iowans went specifically for Irish stupid, some of the different foods that people have one of the greatest pizzas ever is at BU, Laura. Great pizzas. And in fact, chef Luchino Delsing yori will continue the tradition. Joining us at about eight forty six this morning with his own ideas super. Oh, boy or why like that. I here's a good idea. He's got like a Mexican fiesta planned or something. But here's an idea. Yes, sir. Wiggly's? Well, we know wiggly's is really good in the hands. Gonna have it for my birthday celebrating today. I think that's as seriously bowl thing there. Well, there's nothing like good corned beef and wiggly's is the best at least as far as I can tell. And so, yeah, that'd be a nice one. But nobody Google for it. They don't have to go forth ago. Two weeklies and get it six forty three WJR if.
