see Kilroy is here good morning doctor lords is it is Kilroy Kilroy that's me yeah nice to hear from you you are you're everywhere but you're here today thanks for checking in you're welcome thanks for letting me listen to our pleasure you found a new way to be I have if there's anything that all the hours of animal crossing this taught me it's that I can I can actually enjoy some yard work now and again really I went out you're going up a tree stump and enjoying it or planting some flowers and pretty much everything reminds me of animal crossing now you know what I would like to do is I would like to come over to your house and makes up a big jug of country time lemonade and sit on your porch and watch you do yard work not help hello welcome you're all right welcome here now Hey I actually do have some I want to share with your listeners if you don't lease so I know I know we typically avoid traffic stories on radio from hell and no one no one really likes hearing anyone else's traffic story but I didn't wanna let me through and I think the children let me just clarify because that's a that's a myth it's a myth we we don't like traffic on the must goes because it's always about Utah drivers are the worst because and you know that so it's on the must goes that we don't want traffic stories everywhere else they're fun no answer and this is actually the opposite because if an instance where I realize I am a Utah driver in some cases five nine I'm a very careful driver try to stay within a few miles per hour of the speed limit but I I have a a traffic story where I was the bad driver and I wanted to share it with your listeners to there's a lesson at the end okay but just the other day I think it was when I was driving around on the mound I was behind another driver in the right hand lane and suddenly I realized that I was passing a big rig but with on my left knee and you know have you ever seen those big gray that have on the back painted on the back it says pointing to the left of the big ERISA passing side anything to the right notice that kind of problem with that song yeah yeah I haven't noticed hair lead drivers truck drivers don't want you to pass on the right I'm assuming it's a pretty bad blind spot I get moved back to have my CDL and I realize and I try to be especially careful around big rigs yeah but I know that I found myself passing the struck house I'm like halfway through passing this truck they turn on a blinker as if they're about to change into my lane and run me over and then I quickly pass and move quickly they can safely and then they start blinking their brights at me furiously and I'm like dude I'm a little indignant what I just passed you I'm sorry you're in the middle lane and are we not allowed to use the link on the right track so but I I quickly humbled myself and said well maybe there's a reason and I remembered that you know you're not supposed to pass trucks on the right but anyway I wanted to kind of just open the conversation and hear from any truck driver listeners that you might have if they can explain to me why is it so important well that's right we have a lot of truck drivers involved this time am I okay passing on the right if I leave a buffer lane in between listen you think you know it is more dangerous for you to pass on the right but the truck driver was also being a douche so yeah some validation okay all right one is to blame yeah she later Kilroy thank you all right thank you until later let's see Kirk the Principia pretty checking in Hey bill did you ever get your masks you "Jeff Good Morning Good morning how you doing excellent and lots to digest. We've already talked to the J ribbon earlier this morning morning. I want to get your take on what went on about the racist we discussed last week including the the upset which I think is less shocking talking than people. The people are are feeling. It didn't seem upon further review that Mongolian groom was all that impossible well. He wants to me I mean I thought he'd run well but I I really I'd watch McKinsey working. I thought he was ready to roll. Oh and just looking at the form I thought that he would win and he he moved to the top of the stretch like he was going to pounce and then he kind of flat out and I I always had a little sense of doubt that maybe he wasn't quite amount of quarterhorse but this is only a mile and they and I was disappointed and I think Bob Baffert with two do I really was an he's made in announcement that he's going to replace my Smith with a writer that we don't know who's going to be. I'm sure all the the agents are kind of hanging around trying to throw their hat in the ring but yeah I mean I it was I mean it's it's just it's the nature of the game here. We've you see this happen a lot and perhaps the real the real important racist coming up a month from now but if you've you know food for thought as to whether or not the horse that we also at least I thought was the number one older horse in the country. is really that much better than everybody else and amount of quarter. I think it's anybody's game now fold in as well the the result at the Jockey Club Gold Cup and what did you think of the takedown and who do you favor of the two of them coming out west well. I'll tell you what that I I was kind of hoping that it didn't come down and even I thought the three year old is going to win the race going in and what am I ran well. I thought he I thought he had every chance to get by but it was a tough. It's tough to lose a race lightweight like way when push came to shove and unfortunately for her also did come to push he he hung in there I think both both of those are deserving the universal. I'd come already come out west a winner racer over the summer so we subtract and so they'll meet again it's I I. I was talking about this. The other day was Zoe on our podcast and we we were pretty much not baffled. I don't think that's the way but kind of open to in trying to figure out who might win the plastic doors so many possibilities now so many horses that look like they're capable title stepping up some of them that look good or maybe vulnerable so I duNNo. We'll be watching the next couple of three weeks to see who trains the best. Maybe maybe we can come up with a conclusion but right now now. It's really a mess we'll wait till they get the decisions. The final decisions horses like a late and late would add another wrinkle visit I think they're thinking mile and a quarter and the boys aren't that top much tougher for maybe the midnight DC would be if he ran against her again and and a mile an eighth in the in the the staff so that would that would certainly make an interesting well a couple of other thoughts jeff about last weekend the reasons we discussed filled D'Amato just a of magical a couple of days pee wee reese on Friday mirth and Cleopatra Strike in the Rodeo drive and the John Henry able to Geo Story. I keep coming back to it because what can you say and then Sunday Paradise Woods and I ask you the same question that I brought up up with Jay and I asked Sadler too Sadler Sheriff's the other day if she runs that race of the distaff she's she's a major major player and I know she's a notorious in and outer but I thought that was a terrific effort it was it was accomplished under under pristine conditions sitting right outside a speed horse with nobody all rounder nobody in front of her nobody beside her with kind of like a workout for but she did feel the deal as she finished strongly and she earned a beyer speed figure that was something like eight or nine points better than they were not that that means anything but bottom line is she ran really well now whether or not she can do that again I don't know if he pointed out not exactly your model of consistency and I thought maybe your best days were behind her but boy did she work well and I I I yeah I mean you have to go. You have to think that going into the dispatch. This definitely has a legitimate chance I mean if she decides to show up with a game the thing that we're going to start talking about Jeff when when when I'm at clockers corner and and we're watching horses work and when we analyzed the the XP TV workouts leading up to the race between you and Millie Ah Zoe is going to be fitness levels and the one thing you're not going to have to worry about John. The sheriff's Baffert and Sadler is is fitness of these horses on that racetrack and that's going to be a huge factor and I'm I'M GONNA keep referring to the east coast horses that went to del Elmar for the Pacific Classic and God drowned on that deep surface and Steve Asmussen asked me to his credit with with tenfold he learned his lesson and went out early with Mottola because he is not gonna get caught on that element he wants his horses. This is ready to travel over that surface and it's going to be something we we really focus on and then I'm sure in the recap you know after breeders Peter Scott. It's GONNA come up well down. Mars is eat but it's it's not it's not any deeper than in Santa Anita where this is not the old Santa Anita track backwards you know three quarters in eight and change all all day long I mean you have to be did fit to run on. This track is deep. You just tiring you you have to train over it. I think I think it really helps and yeah I think it's going to be very important to to to watch the works and I I do think it's going to be a great advantage for horses to get in early and get a beast of one or maybe even to work over the drag your possible because it's it's not it's it's tough. It's it's it. It's deeper than New York and Belmont Park is I'm convinced of that and I know Belmont to be called the fanny and all that but this track is is big heavy. I mean it's the faith it's safe and that's why they made it so deep but you've gotta get through it and you gotTa. That'd be fit well. Let's get set to look at the weekend and before we talk about Saturday any any day maker ideas for today well. You know it's yeah I mean I I did do a couple of San Anita and I can give the a little bit of an insight today's tough but I like the Philly name swirling in the fourth race she's not the favorite averaged five to two zero six two five in there she's a late running turf sprinter that that I that likes attending through force and they're starting to run five and a half now in the first we've got a couple now they extended the shootout there so she'd found five furlongs on this course a little stripe and she was hitting the boy and running well but just running out of room now she goes five and a half and I noticed in the few couple of five and a half long since we've had so far that the closers have a better chance and she's she's good enough to win. and I think that extra half for a long we'll give her the edge that she needs so I'm looking at number two swirling in the fourth race to kind of heightened me over for that's my play play today. It's an okay car not a great guard but I think we can we can get some value there because she's not going to be the favorite it's excellent all right swirling today and Let's let's go to the weekend and obviously the steak the steak side of things Let's talk about talk about the city of hope I because it it it really is intriguing and I brought up with Jay earlier. Jeff the mixing and matching of older horses. I mean really veteran in six seven eight year olds like synchrony and Ohio and Bolo and catapult facing off against some horses that may be emerging What's your angle in the studio? It's really hard. I handicap this this race and I came up with about four or five that on their best day could win. synchrony is intriguing to me I think he's intrinsically the best of the group but he doesn't have a lot of tactical speed and going a mile on this course even though he's running the tool aww theoretically he could maybe draft into the mid part of the mid packing and save the nangle out and get through he tends to give himself a lot to do and I remember when he came out here for the CBS del Mar last November. The same thing happened. Do that was sixteen. He fell back. He he had some traffic trouble he got. That's where we finished. Fuller Ronnie finished thirty one but but he didn't get there so I I like him at five to one at synchrony shipper I I hope he gets the trip. If he doesn't then you can make a case for a number of these. I mean looking for fifteen to one shot number four on your program. Aziz restrained vengeance. He's GonNa get loose in the lead and if he does that he can be dangerous. TAT upholds training really well but he's form doesn't look all that well you gotta go back to the Kilroy Mile Back in March the finding good but at least it was over this turf fourth and he could pop up Sadler. He's five to one the raises a bunch of the race basically is is a bunch. That's a five to one shots hoping for good luck but I think maybe if he gets through synchrony can win I wanted to I wanted to like River Boyne off the lay off and then John White made him four to one and that that cooled my ardor well you know I looked at him him and he was a very good three year old and he hasn't won at four and haven't made a lot of progress at least according to his numbers and he goes from practice and I'm looking elsewhere. Let's put it that way you know a to go back to an angle from last week as that in fact Jay also came up with and Dash the other filled D'Amato player and here's able to do who the things that just seem to be running for Jeff at at least from what we saw last week while they they ran for a golden gate when he was leading rider up there and I talked to them for a number of years actually we had horses up there and he he wrote for us always felt that he was good enough but he was kingpin up there era and then he decided to make the leap and I thought it might be tough for them but it really hasn't he's really falling favor with the with the horsemen down here and he's a strong writer but he's a good rider as far as and dishes concern. He's coming off a nice win. Del Mar.. He's obviously never beaten this this group although he did run second Mendelssohn and his racing debut of that matters which it doesn't that was way back in two thousand seventeen at the Curragh but but he's he's he's developing. He's he's coming around and the way the model is going. I mean I wouldn't put anything past him and especially in a race like this in which really there is no standout and anything can happen so hey why not wanting to watch a couple of other thoughts. what do you make of this chance Salat Omaha beach matchup the very very different set of three year olds against elders in the in the sprint championship wells twelve sheds lots four to five in the morning line because he's not only the fastest horse in the race in terms of numbers but he's also look controlling speed and he doesn't even have to go that fast my my concern was and it's kind of happened in the Jerkins a little bit then I know that the inside part of the wasn't particularly hit that day but they kinda slowdown down twenty three flat forty five and and he's fast horse and I think you gotta use his weapon and I think going three quarters. They don't have to worry too much about you. Know saving reading anything so I I would suspect he'll bust out there and go. He had a nice breeze over the track. I think Navarro did the right thing by bringing them out early and breezy had a half and forty. He's seven and one third fastest at sixty five last week and he lied did it. The right way looked like he was relaxed like he got over the track very very well so he's going to be it really hard for Omaha Beach the rundown although I my theory about Omaha beach is that he's always wanted to be a sprinter and because he was so good and all the money's going long long that Richard Mandella kept running them wrong and why wouldn't he won the rebel in the Arkansas Derby any may have even able to win the Kentucky Derby had come down with the trap Levada brought his only sprint race of his career only race of seven that he actually sprinted

"I think I lost some at a certain point and it just wasn't going the way that I had seen it. So it's not viable at a certain point, but I've learned to look past the numbers and as long as we have one that's more than enough. And that's that's exactly true. And I don't know who who came up with that theory when it came to podcasting, because that's what I was getting to that one person. If you have that one digit, don't care about how many zeros or behind that one. Somebody took the time to download and that's huge. Like it's the same thing like I look at our numbers to see, okay, we dropped off in the last month. We've been losing listeners. What can we do? What can I kinda look at my own show critique, like I do my clients and look at it and go, okay, what can we do? We're not delivering the content. We should that our fans deserve that our listeners deserve, because even in the chat room, they said, you know, time is the most valuable thing you can give. Somebody and it's true. I don't wanna waste your time. So if I'm going to sit and spit into a microphone for two hours a week for you to listen to me, I wanna make sure it's worth listening to, but it's also one of the things for like, I also wanna spit into microphone because I'm gonna sit there and talk to my co host Kilroy for two hours on air run Skype for like five hours or you only record two hours of it. But like, that's, that's what it's about is like having fun and talking about video games like come on now, like whoever thought ten years ago, any of us would be sitting here right now talking. Yeah, I never expect to be doing this. I mean, and what I love is talking with all all of you. I mean, I've got both of you through podcasting. And that's the thing is like I met my co host podcasting. It was another podcast it's called with cast way back in the day. I met him through their chat room. Basically twist me into his friends. He directed me to Kilroy. I was looking for a co host mean Kilroy sat down to guest episode. He's just going to be my guest, probably fifteen minutes after the episode. I was like, hey, do you just wanna be my new co host like it went so well, that in that was five years ago and now we travel the bliss conduct gather. We are texting all day long talking. We we read together, we play overwatch together like this is a friend that I never would have known if it wasn't for podcasting and and has everybody else. There's like mine entire friends list. That Blue's con is like podcasters that I've met throughout the years just because like we all have something extra or passionate about. I, we're blizzard gamers. "Much drama ultimately you think it's all made up anyway back to gilroy this vomit i like you can't create he's everybody he's having an honest kilroy can't tell kirkman han having the finger on the pulse sure he sits there sort of finger on the pulse when it every morning idiot he's on a night begging for phone calls by himself you only get five lines right now on the red sox and the celtics i can do it that's not what people talk about people this is now my new thing i've made this my entire thing people don't talk like patrick gilroy talks people don't talk like most sports radio people talk nobody has those conversations noone noone noone noone says noah bosses anybody else think well i think boogie cousins will fit and golden state friends say the david only through eight changeups flipped the top what what hold on hold on i knew i knew there was a reason you interrupt phone calls phone calls so played again moment i flipped the topic to gear sean yabu sally i had five full lines what the hell is he talking about he flipped the top he's got his finger on the pulse because people right now does he think who selling focused jerry's info cost matters sounds that's exactly what he said what i heard was must have been a little after that he said we don't know what people think he's you know because you baseball says we don't take a lot of calls so we don't know what people think bigger ratings one twenty the percentage of people who call percentage of listeners who call is like one and a half percent claiming that it's less i think it's also it's definitely less than that now and the only only number ratings take that many calls so for kirk to sit here and tell us what his fans want i'm not call right now call them up i want to talk more on right now calm yes com he's thirty seconds getting here he's never gonna be on the stage and we talk can we take calls and you'll be selling so we mentioned who is this big night in the summer league if we mentioned your cell he thinks we'll get drafted a couple of years ago yeah ski last night yesterday some really what summer league watching every night robin williams like doesn't show all right let's channel is it on comcast the game nba tv i know about these things don't talk all the people to host some team look good great good williams at brunch crashes the board as aggressive reminds me of young otis thorpe the show he's got some issues i would say is there ever been an nba player who started with this kind of you know questionable behavior probably all worked out great no turned out to be just a beast no again i was thinking that yes oversleep for your first press conference miss you oversleep and miss your first plane and everything after that works out perfectly doesn't seem likely he's doomed yes over you might as well cut them like michael young comes the first round pick now be done with it did michael young show believe oversleep come training camp right it should be you should do that fine see i know i know i know basketball you do your but hoops i know our listeners don't care about yuba sell each they don't care seriously said that he got five calls on uber sally five calls in anything i mean if i couldn't do it on that late it's probably the ten celtics fans this is probably the same no no let's go spell it i can spell it go ahead what's the name i don't know you berselli you shelley how do you have in the moment i flipped the topic to gear sean yabu sally i had five full line it sounds i think that both dan shaughnessy and kirkman ahead of trying to make the point is this i don't believe them i don't believe what shaughnessy you selling here and i don't believe that kirk has the finger on the pulse the way that he thinks he does why is he allowed to criticise me i understand you want the boss to bring it into that i was sending producers hit the buttons any emails it's no talent lollipop sales dick wad is there criticizing me.

"Break was in full swing in matamoros the next night march fourteenth nineteen eightynine followers maglio and little sarafin set out in serafin pickup truck to find a victim at two am as college students streamed across the bridge from montemurro on the mexican side to brownsville on the texas side the cult members a blonde twenty one year old named mark kilroy they offered him a ride exhausted from a night partying kilroy accepted the offer they drove kilroy to rancho santa elena and tied him up then left him in the back of a truck for the night the next morning domingo rey is the caretaker of the ranch found kilroy he brought him some eggs for breakfast the caretaker felt sorry for the boy but he knew better than to offer more help he retreated to his house on the ranch before any followers found him helping their victim at midday on march fifteenth nineteen eightynine the cult convened on the ranch at the ganga shack while they stood outside the shack adolfo tortured raped and killed kilroy he made l dooby one of the original five modern morals followers cut his heart out his brain was placed in the in gunda adolfo said the brain of an educated person would make it smarter better able to carry out complex tasks but now the cult's murderous tendencies had crossed an international border there would be much more scrutiny kilroy's friends were already frantically looking for him police started investigating mark kilroy's father became a daily fixture at the bridge between brownsville and matamoros during march of nineteen eightynine handing out flyers with his son's picture on them the disappearance had occurred on mexican soil and thus was legally the jurisdiction of mexican authorities but kilroy's uncle a us customs supervisor pushed for an investigation to take place on the us side as well mexican police also had great incentive to solve the case the negative publicity could cripple the tourism economy which many mexican cities relied on including mata morals for the last two weeks of march neither side made headway kilroy had disappeared late at night while the streets of motto morals were crowded with drunken college students it was impossible to find reliable leads a break came on april first nineteen eightynine though with authorities didn't know it at the time a red pickup truck drove through a drug check point of the mexican federal police without even slowing down the driver was little serafin hernandez officers on the scene found surfing's behavior suspicious so they tailed him without alerting him to their presence sarafin wouldn't have cared even if he'd known they were following him he accelerated through the checkpoint because as he later told them he believed his cults magic made him literally invisible to the police the officers followed him to rancho santa elena then staked it out once sarafin left they looked around and concluded the ranch was likely a stopping point for drug shipments police began to monitor the hernandez's on april eighth nineteen eighty nine the cult went through with a three hundred thousand dollar drug deal the federal police were watching the.

"This late night i am patrick kilroy i need to get this video here to stop looping kids are gonna make me sick each and every time i watch it this jaylen brown dunk thankfully he got up walked off under his own power but in a shades of the whole hayward situation like he went up he lost control coming down and for a moment you thought that maybe his season was over it looks like he's going to be okay what i wouldn't be surprised when he misses a few games here he's going to have a massive bruce on his back but it could have been a lot worse the best part about it was watching him smile at the end of it the fact that he walked away means this'll be like a sports center not top10 now you know exactly i was seriously injured they wouldn't make fun of exactly but i gotta i just got exiled of this thing real quick i don't want to watch this at eu was harsh is hard to watch that is sports radio weei and we're talking about the storm we're talking about peyton manning because both things really you know turn my stomach today the storm was fine it was a new england storm it was something that we all deal with but this one was different this one came with the weight of the snow the wind listening to those trees crack up in my neighborhood win the new hampshire was something i never want to experience again and then this whole peyton manning thing with the poppa johns selling off the thirty one locations apopka johns i was listening to another show earlier today and they were talking about it for a minute but a glossed over just like everything else and you know he had the whole thing with the the sexual allegations against him as well going back to his tennessee days that came up a couple of years ago and those went away and in this meat to world that we live in it seems like nobody gets away with stuff like that anymore and make a difference how will the allegations are but again for peyton manning i'll shucks some peyton manning i would never do anything wrong and people by it they eat it up they love this.

"Hundred two seven three three over my line brought to you by kilroy so i cannot imagine a world although i guess if you're looking at generational me you're talking about people who have now use things like ridesharing services as the norm they may not own a car if you live in san francisco for example you you walk to work you you you do one of those rental bicycles or uber everywhere that the everything is temporary you don't have anything and you only want to pay for exactly what you use so from that standpoint i can understand it but it sounds it sounds like prison where you get to leave okay well i didn't go for it president after you take your communal shower three doors buzz hedman well now but we're looking at just how expensive cities have become where there is an there is an affordable housing for people who actually live there in a couple of weeks ago i was up until he ride snowboarding and we were talking with some some locals there about just how the homes that are vacant and a broken down the law and everything is cells for like one point two million dollars and how there is an affordable rooms or or living spaces for people who actually live and work in that city and they all have to buy san or live on the outskirts and commute hours now i commute and hour but i choose to you that every single day there is affordable housing in phoenix but when you're looking at places like san francisco like new york city living in a dormitory for people i get it i thought what i would dream of as an adult i get it there an example and i was just googling like two bedroom apartments in.
