He told them that he He had personal terms in place with with manchester city. They were higher than than i anticipated. And he's willing to take the contract. There's talk of a two year deal The problem is city Event is saying well. We're not going to let them go on a free. That's very very clear. You've of course losing something like three hundred more than three hundred million over two years. They wanna get a feedback and city thus far is taping. This have yet to make a bid. You expect a bid on friday from manchester city and that is they expect to be right around thirty million euros and if that happens think he's john. Ronaldo will be free to go. We'll it'd be free to go to city because that is obviously the big question mark because at the same time there's this massive bid from around madrid second bid for killian bobby and l'equipe a reporting this time. Perry senator man are willing to enter negotiations with real madrid. Doesn't mean they're going to take this huge bid it may require another bid but they are willing to at least talk to them at least according to the keep and the other detail and all this which i don't think we can ignore is after meeting with uganda's on thursday morning george mendes jumped on his chartered plane and didn't fly to manchester. You wonder though if imbaba goes could that be an alternate destination. Could it be more appealing. Christiano to move to power senator man. If if it's the biggest. And bob

Kfc we okay with that great. That's the right decision. It's kinda. I wouldn't call it a no brainer but 'cause that's speaks to evan moberly and jalen green how talented they are But it's as close to a no brainer as it gets when you're talking about a guy who's six foot seven six four eight can play. Who can shoot off the dribble who can defend multiple positions. Who's a leader. Who works hard. Like for the pistons. Here with their current roster. You know as troy weaver said everybody's a fit Became cunningham is especially at fit next to their backcourt with killian hayes city bay in the front court and i say a stewart. I love their young core in the pistons finally have hoped

What do you think is this team's biggest need right now because I the other thing we need to talk about obviously is the potential for a trade. Yeah and I think that's relevant A. Necessarily their biggest need but the one that, and it might be that there was some some of this in the pieces that you and I think that might have been chumps since I passed the camera exactly where the was. The idea that thinks be good for them to have a point guard I do think having somebody who can run the offense Stephen a Smith even. Thank you that having somebody else who can run the offense who can you know who can initiate other then PG and why would be would be a huge benefit for them? It might not be as relevant when they want to go to the ball and in the key moments of the playoffs. But it that's another way that you can take miles off the tires of star player is by just it's appropriate that we're doing this after talking about Kellyanne, Hayes in the first segment, where will ring a players usage can can actually make things more viable for them and. The good news for the clippers is there are plenty of point guard that can do that especially for not necessarily demanding that they be in their closing five of the championship team. But the hard thing is there aren't many in the free agent class and there, and you can't really draft somebody for that because it's GonNa take them longer to get there. So it's it's a different conversation. Yeah, and you would probably have to be through trade if they can't get drug with an aggressive offer, thought might be a and they've got mcgruder as matching salary Lou Williams. I think. They still would like to keep him Ronnie seats got value again, another guy for a team who just needs a ball handler to get into the playoffs that has some value M Patrick Beverley is there are there other trade assets with thirteen million but he's kind of more of a matching salary you're guessing that a team that is willing to give up a good player who's going to help the clippers doesn't need a like veteran role player like Patrick Beverley back green could be part of a package if he opposite of course of you know not a lot of these. Guys have a crapload of Value Landry Shamet it could his value is probably lower after his rough bubble performance as well. You know Lou. Williams is probably their best piece. They cannot trade a first round draft pick right now they're pick from this year's owed to New York in the Marcus Morris deal, and then they cannot trade a first until the twenty twenty one draft due to the deal that they made with the thunder for Paul George. So they have a few things that might be interesting to teams, but they don't really have a ton in terms of future assets. Kevin Gala I'm not sure he's a titillating anyone nor as terrence man well, I think sham it would be if they're willing to give them up yet even though I just wonder what his value is trump. Yeah and you and I both been higher on him than it seems like degenerates. I mean he he could really help these guys too. But again, if you're going if you're going with this idea that it has to be a point guard to me, I don't think trying to trade for a point guard. Now makes a ton of sense I think you're much better off just trying to do that at the deadline see how this team comes together maybe maybe with Thai Lou and the same cast of characters come back they dominate. There's there's one other big recent to wait, and that is remember that it's not as extreme as twenty sixteen but a large portion of the League is hitting Free Agency and twenty, twenty one and what that means is there could be a Lotta guys they get bought out and clippers point guard could be the the neon lights in the sky of like oh My God. You could actually play on this team and rehabilitate your value and so somebody who's on so that the crazy example this that happening is like I was going to bring up Derrick rose is a trade possibility if the Pistons Dote Trade Derrick rose the that might be the best case nerve for the clippers because then they could just get him in. The equivalent of February. So I guess that might be like June yet. So and and the idea of a point guard so is this guy is going to play over Lou Williams are you treating Louis? Lou Williams is pretty much a point guard on offense he's not a great passer. All up like he's you know, take some strain off A. At least now, we hate him defensively but what point guard are you getting in? Who's going to be so much better that's the whole point of Patrick..

"A particularly if it's longer term, maybe get some nine guarantees on the end where I mean if you wanted to trade Lou Williams Adventures Herald do a team that could just be like your offense, right? Like that's a combination that could get your offense into being like a solid playoff lovelock's offense as we saw with this team two years ago and I guess it the question becomes. So I do think if heralds prices reasonable and you know what is that? That's nine, million, ten, million a year you know again something. In the thirty to thirty, five, million dollars guaranteed maybe that type of range I would pull the trigger on bringing it back. Now, he may just want to go somewhere else maybe start out north. Another team wants him to be the starter though because of his defensive limitations but he could at least be the finisher somewhere else if your choices Herrell and mini mid level and Harold Lozano decent contract right I mean if you GonNa get sixteen million a year from Charlotte than our decision is made for you see see you later but if it's a decent price, would you rather have herrell and the mini mid level or would you rather have the full middle? This requires A. Basically. So the question is who is potentially available for the full mid level, which is nine to ten million who would not be available for the mini mid level. An also worth mentioning that the clippers could potentially if they're you know, let's say they're getting up to ten million dollar Ridge there could be a player who is expecting more money than that who is willing to take it? They are they are championship contender that depending on what happens with Marcus Morris could. Have minutes to offer. They could even potentially have a spot in the closing five but there, there isn't really a to me a great eight partially because let's talk about the need i. mean I think that let's say let's say they lose Harrell. What are they need? They need a backup center don't need to spend the full mid-level on that guy up if you could get center that you like better than than zoo bats than that would be an option I'm not sure. If. You know if surgery Dhaka's wouldn't come there for the full mid-level. Okay. Yes. I you up for that but you know or Marcus Oh. Why to come out or something like that. although Ghazal I mean, you'd be even okay fit with with Leonard George but he moves the ball and he goes yeah, I mean those are probably the only two guys I would think of as being like an upgrade on simply just bring back Carol and there are plenty of decent enough backup centers. But really it is these guys that we expect to get a lot more money than that going down like Danilo Gallinari sure no no brainer. If you could get him for ten million dollars a year, you do it but if you might like to be back in La, but if it's MOE heartless, know if it's you know even like some of the some of the kind of small forty guys, they're not great fits for this team. Either and point guard class is I. If there was a point guard that was potentially that ten million dollars range that I liked as a somebody who could shoulder some of the playmaking burden even if they're not going to be in the closing five yeah. I could imagine that but when when the drop is basically from Goran dragic to DJ. Augustine that's exactly that middle range where you would want somebody to be and there's no one there. They I would absolutely make an offer of three years at the mid level. For Gordon, drag sure. He doesn't even need to necessarily start for you could just kinda take it easy with them during the off season or during the. They treated the regular season like the all season last year but Yeah having there's nobody else where I'm like man, this guy is so much better and then you look also at the fact that they you know, let's say in the twenty twenty, one off-season if you wanted to have herrell under contract as a guy that you could move and then you also attach your twenty twenty one pick at the draft for example, like maybe that package could get you something as you're trying to retool as Georgia and Leonard hopefully. re-sign Yeah. I mean other than drug itch you know Paul Millsap is like a small five rather have him than Harrell. Point. Gallo also is perilous younger. He's been in the League for a while, but he's twenty six and unrestricted Paul millsap five. Yeah. That's an important thing to right. I mean, this is a good twenty, six year old player who I mean I still think holding onto him is more about the asset and you'll do butts can't play. He's GonNa play twenty, five minutes a game he's. And thank you for credit gain. This is the other important truth is that much makes the clippers team in the regular season even if he's not as useful in the playoffs, still have to get their stuff to get the message again and again I thought he took some strides forward defensively this year he obviously was atrocious. He obviously is not going to guard Nicole Yokich if that's the matchup. And his pick and roll defence against Luca Danni was pretty rough to your your after spot him in the playoffs unless you just have this all offense team, you don't have anyone else like they did in the twenty thousand nine playoffs. But if you're really trying to actually stop people, you could run into problems with Harrow going against Lebron James and Anthony Davis that Luca Danni and Nicole Yokich. Absolutely. But yeah, I, mean I really do I talk. Radio. Okay. Yeah yeah, assuming he cares more about being on a competitive team than being on the Washington Wizards what if `Davis Brittan says I will play for of whatever the number of years can be negotiated for Tiffany but he would come for the full mid-level Yelich over like the full four years Yeah. We'll see maybe maybe that's an upper ties us made. You know like fifteen million or so so far in his career. So not not that much A. Important to him but you'll see how important the la lifestyle is a as well and Brittan is he gonNa be in your closing line-up maybe not even Gallo to me bring some problems defensively like, yes, you could space the floor, but you're not really using his isolation ability at all at the end of games in your closing just based on the floor and then he can be attacked defensively a guess. You would just need a senator Ron. Gallo really limits what you can do you in terms of your versatility develop. Still, a good player to have on that contract. You know I. would imagine if he does come there, he would probably just get a one plus one at the mid level So was probably. The also in terms of mid level candidates there or Could talk about a Jew Michael Green briefly? Yeah. Lean get to green. So he has a five million dollar player option or he could opt out in be an unrestricted free agent and the clippers could then bring him back with bird rights if they want to and I think they would have sufficient sufficient but rights to give green contract he would demand other places and it is possible that the. Coaching change give screen more reason to return whether that is on on opt or a new contract because it seems like Doc rivers wasn't gonNA play, but maybe tyler felt different. Yeah. Maybe a do more of those Michael Green at the five switch everything type units n degrees market has probably GonNa be right around what he would be making His agent will have some work to do on that one..

"Are Let's talk about the off season for the Clippers Mr Larue or their finances look like going into what is probably going to be a critical off season for them? It's kind of Nice to do the clippers because in some of the normal can kind of constraint factors the clippers just just aren't that complicated their best players are going to be on roster next year Paul George Leonard. It's hard to imagine a circumstance where those guys are not on the team at least at the start adventure but really at the end of next year as well they also are not constrained by the luxury tax in the way that a lot of other teams. Are because it appears that steep bomber is willing to pay and when you are a championship contender absolately should in and also because one of the clippers you know most important free agents there actually isn't that much flexibility in terms of what they can offer him salary wise and so functionally speaking if you want to say where are the clippers they're going to be over the tax, I would assume they will pay the there over the cap I assume they will be over the luxury taxes well, which affects certain things like the mid level exception in. That's a nice. They don't. They also don't have draft picks to work with only fifty seven which. Okay. Because they traded their first round, pick Marcus Morris, who's GonNa come up very very soon. So they don't have a lot of kind of that traditional flexibility. There aren't a lot of leverage points in the Oh, they have a top ten draft pick, they have cap space, they have trade exceptions, none of that kind of stuff but every decision warns Franken. This for an office makes is extremely important because they are championship contender and because their two best players are only under contract for one more year because then they both have player option. Yeah. Those players obviously are maybe moving into a phase where they. Could quickly not be as good as you need to be to win championships and the two big swing points. Of course, are the free agencies of Marcus Morris and Mantras Herrell. Basically, if you bring back both of those guys, there's no way that they could use the full mid-level exception of around nine point, two million. There'd be limited to the mini mill level I think there's a decent chance they would spend that I mean there's still bombers probably only looking at increasing luxury tax bills m you question particularly with the depth on this team whether it'd be worth spending a lot more but you know. They go at least as much as fifteen million over the tax if they were to bring back Marcus Morris for we'll call it fifteen million and Montrose Herald. For you know his capital is eleven, it will say that that's where it would start for him. Then they would be about seven million or so into the tax and they would have twelve players under contract assuming that Je Michael Green were to opt in he's got a five million dollar player option. Let's begin with Marcus Morris they have non bird rights on him CONC- since he was coming off a one year contract and that will enable. Them to even though they're over the cap to pay him up to an eighteen, million dollar starting salary. It seems very likely that he would stay. Don't do see a team out there. That would offer Marcus Morris more than the full mid-level exception dealing one for baby the next just yeah I mean I would you could. You could see maybe more it'd be like, Hey, you know what? Like I wouldn't just go somewhere for one year just like I did last year and collect another fifteen million or so if the clippers offer is lower, but it seems like they're going to match whatever is out there. And they're and they're championship contender and Morris could be in their closing five depending on depending on the construct for that specific game and I actually think that the non borates facilit- could facilitate a deal getting done because they can say we can't go above eighty. There's there's no universe where the clippers can go above eighteen million and they can only do five percent raises per year well yeah. But they're like I mean obviously, if they pay him eighteen over any decent number of years, he's going to take it but I think they're gonNA try and get them from Las. I think it will too. But what I'm saying is like that you're you're the the negotiating points sometimes, it can be about anchoring there isn't as far for him to and he can't demand twenty million and you have to be like, oh. God, we have to talk about that. You know everything else like that. So I I think that it will be, but you're right it'd be the lack of external leverage I. Think we'll be the larger factor in bringing things towards a number of the clippers are. Happy with because I don't think the hawks are particularly interested or the Pistons or the Hornets, and the next mayor of the ones that might be and also teams this came up in the office protons section we talked about the wizards earlier in the week signing traits teams wield a Lotta wield a lot of power there, and if the covers don't really want to play ball, they don't have to, and whether they you know there isn't as a concern with base your competition here, but I could imagine. Like, we'd rather have you back then create a trade exception or something like that. So they could take a lot of teams off the table there. I don't think worse is good enough that another front office is going to clear cap space just to get him see I think that you'll end up there and that's why I think mantras Herro is the more compelling discussion because what we'll hear our. Let me finish up with thing I'm more Acidic Herald to some degree eighty to meet does matter because if they don't have Herrell then I would say you're you've got a incentive to lower what you're paying morrison that first year maybe you go out more years to enable you to use the full mid level and stay under the hard cap, which is about six million dollars over the luxury tax line. So. You want to say, Hey, we'll. We'll pay you more in the later years. Want you lower this year so we can use that full mid-level exception in which obviously could be a very powerful tool for this team Otherwise you might say, Hey, you know we're probably better off just paying you more in the first couple years than maybe having a non guaranteeing the my guess is it's GonNa end up somewhere around forty million guaranteed out know what the year structure is going to be but that would be my best guess is that's what he's going to get I. think it'd be closer to forty five but the general contours we pretty much agree. Okay, but you ought to move on to the Free Agency of Herald, and why heralds more compelling to me is because there is a less clear argument that even needs to be on the team at all and that that's crazy for a guy who has just crammed six men and the first inclination would be. That's a lot of recently by US considering Herro, was not himself in the bubble and that? was and that was a big part of the problem for the clippers and I agree with that and I think that there is there's an element of the problems of of that non-representative time factor again. But you and I were both skeptical of heralds place on a championship level team long before Orlando and it's because he doesn't play defense well enough to be in the closing five, hundred good team and. Their Times that it absolutely works but they're absolutely times that it does not and a senator who does not who does not close games on a team with this level of expectations that'd be different on a team. Let's say like the Charlotte Hornets where they're they're not going to be in this kind of circumstance. It's better to him than to not have him, but it's more challenging when there are other real sacrifices that are gonNA come even if you're owner is basically made of. One of those sacrifices could be using the full mid level and we can talk about if your if that's your decision, would you rather have herald and the mini mid level or would you rather have someone at the full mid level WHO's out there for that? We'll we'll talk about that but I think that's one of the discussions are GonNa be having. My thought though is maybe they can capitalize on him being as bad as he was in the bubble and maybe that offers in computer right? You just think of other than Charlotte or me be Detroit, you just don't see the team that's going to offer him above the mid level and honestly I mean are there that? Many teams out there. That really are even offer him the full mid level of certainly over four years it he's he's sort of a tough fit and but I would say that if you can take advantage of the fact that is value is artificially a year both because of this market that. So crazy right now with the pandemic and it wasn't, it's not be cap space your anyway and because of his artificially bad performance in the bubble and get him out of decent contract number one, they just Kinda. Need Salaries I. Think of guys that they want to move I. Guess they've got Beverly and they've got Lou Williams do. So maybe that's not as much conception and Rodney mcgruder. So, but it's nice to be able to have those altogether and I think he's someone who could have positive trait value on a contract that they signed him to.

"That's kind of I think what you were vacillating to and the other big element of his offense that we haven't got to. The big element is his jump shot and I got more I want to talk about it on like his dribble game, I. Just to for for continuity I mean this is actually going to be a long one because there's A polarizing prospect within his own game as opposed as well as an actor I think it was Todd Whitehead at crumpled jumps good follow on twitter who tweeted this I used to do some work for the sons that Hayes and James. Wiseman are the players with the most polarization the most inconsistency among mock drafts that I could certainly understand that as I I was vacillating back and forth on him, just watching him for the. Hours of film that we watched but as a ball handler being pressured up in the backyard of the problem, he's slow. I mean these are like no name guards in the German league like turning him several times in the back court he's getting running jumped at half court. There's a play against or a series of plays against Alba Berlin where he turned it over at the half court line to plays in a row, just getting pressured up. So that, and there was clearly on the scouting report. Every team was like, yeah, we got a pressure this guy up. So you know he'll get a little bit better at that but that's not great. Right like you don't WanNa just be getting into your offense with twelve on the shot clock every time because of the fact that he struggles to bring the ball up against Setif but I did not once he got into the scoring zone that he would have some quick runs. Like a quick crossover quick between the legs could even actually go to his right for a couple of hard dribbles although against finishing with the right hand was very difficult for them. I thought his change of speeds was pretty good. He's not that fast, but he could slow down or speed up in a way which could wrong foot his defender particularly out of the pick and roll and get him going to that left hand, and then as a finisher when he would get to the. Basket when he wasn't able to shake as man and he was contested, it could look really ugly. It doesn't have a right hand. He'd kind almost shoot like the Jason Tatum like jump shot grip especially if he had to Kinda Eurostep to his writer slow slowdown but if he could get some separation either with going slow to fast quick attack and Phishing, you had one nice little Nash Layup just the extend with one hand where you never put the other hand the ball in his case. The left as it was for every single shot, he took basically or you know he had a nascent Eurostep game as wally he could bury his stride length us longer strides each showed off a little bit of a same hand same foot again on the left side fish he had like a nice running hook shot over a guy reasonable to get decent extension with that six eight wingspan, which is unbelievable. But it's still you know that's better than a lot of point guards have so. There were a few things to like there and I think he as he gets stronger, he'll be able to use his body to create a little bit more spaces while maybe even like get into the post for a floater, he had like a decent floater game As while I thought that could be somewhat of a weapon of, but let's Let's talk now about that jump shot because again, you just you can hate it or you can love it. I think I don't love it at least out right now I think that the So the kind of the first visual that that bothered me with Hayes is that on his jump shot his arms or little far outside his body it's not as extreme as Lonzo ball but it kind of either times it feels the same way it's like it just. Is Elbows blowing out like his elbows flying out and his lower half. It seems okay. Other than the thing you talked about it sometimes, it seems like he's like gleaning and moving laterally as he's jumping, which really hurts hayes consistency and also as the release on his catch and shoot is a little slower than it would like. I think that's credible I. think that I would actually expect that part of it to be to be corrected. There's plenty of incentive to to get that right and I since I'm talking about catcher shoots, I'll bring this in one. Of the one of my favorite small things about as game, and you wouldn't expect this for somebody who's ball dominant as he was at ratio farm. This year is he does a really nice job when he's off ball like some of that Kinda, like Steph curry pass the ball run around bunch, and then get a look like he's he's does that and I'm I'm guessing that was coaching them by applying scheme. There were flashes that I mean they were also possessions where he would do James Harden I'm not involved on the stand forty feet from the vows. But but. Again. You're you're basing it a lot on flashes with him but yeah, there a few times where he would recognize that his defender was engaged and make a nice cut a the ARCA and get open up it. So what I would the the thing for killing for killing Hayes and this was especially true for me on his pull up and it doesn't it. This isn't always a negative, but it's usually like for example, this is not with Klay Thompson but Klay Thompson is a freak in terms of shooting is that killing Hayes like I a lot of times what I like in my head? I'd like to take a snapshot of. When a guy is going up and piece together what I know about certain sins how closest to defending how well, how under control is the? Is it a catch chew with situation and with Hayes, I had real trouble predicting whether a shot was going to go in or not, and generally like so it wasn't like Oh everything where he was set it looks good and then when he was rushing, it was bad or anything like that. It was there was kind of like less internal consistency with it and so that can run out a lot of ways one that could stay assisted but also it's like, Oh, well, if you iron. Maybe. Maybe you can work something they're like the ability to make some tough shots is actually kind of a good thing and that's why invoked the Klay Thompson Thinkers Klay Thompson is like the best best bad foot at times that that I've ever seen. And his is not that by any stretch of the imagination. But so you kind of see that a little bit in the number. So Hayes, he had eighty four points on eighty-five pool up possessions seventy seven percents, Alabama points per possession. Pretty Good I. You'd be totally happy with that but then the two thousand, nine percent on threes per game overall and also blow point seven points per possession on thirty, six catch and shoot twenty five of which were listed unguarded by synergy and so I'm not sure how to eat out eight out of thirty six on catching shoot jumpers. That's a twenty two percent folks. And and it was like just watching a couple of his catch and shoots like 'cause we watched the film I before we looked at the stats I was like, Oh, bad his catch and shoot numbers going to be terrible because he just he shot prep is awful it's totally As you mentioned he shoots it from like his catching shoot co hill one when he won twos into it, it looks really bad. It takes them forever to get it off. He's got an incredibly low release from three that he basically a shooting it almost off of his sternum and he starts at really low to and he brings it up on the right side of his body. There's a you know it's just. I don't know if he just didn't work on it enough I mean the good news is like catch and choose one of the easiest things to work on and he made more shots off the dribble but I mean it was just like. Any heads as you mentioned, just atrocious Mrs. So it's I I guess the question is, can he fix that maybe and also I don't know if you saw this I have my notes and it's as a question not as a statement does he shoot on the way up there were times looked like it felt like he was shooting at a little bit too early well, that might have just been the whole the ball coming from the sternum just totally messing with my equilibrium. But yeah, it was Yeah..

"The perimeter that's mint mobile dot com slash cap space can cut your unlimited wireless bill you thirty bucks a month at mobile dot. com slash cap space. I vacillated too but I'm still a little bit more on the negative side than you are a part of it is and this might just be calibration off of somebody who's this young playing playing at a level that that killing Hayes was is something that we've talked about sometimes as was shooters, but it also can come come up with passers and that is when he is off he is really off like his shooting misses. Some of those are just jaw dropping in the way that like you just Kinda can't believe it. And he has some passes like that like, yes, passes that are just really high and wide, and so sometimes that's you had the right idea and just don't have the right tool in the toolbox yet, and I agree with you that he's does he does play intelligently especially for somebody as young as he is. So you could see those things get better. However, what concerns me is generally speaking I I like it when those are or more fine tuning correction than need to be made rather than these these larger scale things and we'll get. Into the jump shot later I wanted to save that Freud but like another one that gave me pause was indicated the unsorted film watching through it and this change later on so I'm not saying this was a statement through all of the killing haste film but I didn't see a lot of how reeds for passes and this is part of why sometimes I watch sometimes I. Watch turnovers is because sometimes those end up especially for young players not working out but it's like well at least you saw something and you tried it and maybe you Didn't have the right angle or something else. There were some later and he is a good functional passer and there are lots of lots of things that I like about Killian Hayes is kind of passing game, but the idea that he's not like I beat. So I think that people including me at times have prioritized these hall point guards because we'll get what they can do and you you think about especially when the term is brought into players who don't defend other point guards like Hardin, who runs the offense at a different position in. With Hayes you see sometimes but like for example, and I'm not saying they're equals is prospects because marco. Foltz was far better as a prospect even though it didn't work out but like full in the first ten minutes, I watched his unsorted offense folks made more wild passes than killing. Hayes did in the first two hours I watched yeah I've been there weren't any anywhere I was just like this is unbelievable but I thought he threw some Nice Alley oops I thought he would throw these bouncers every once in a while takes some creative angles. is going to be an elite passer, but I, think he'll be solid for an MBA point guard particularly considering his size he also just needs to get more steam on his passes. He needs to figure out how to throw passes with his right hand. He's got to get that behind the back pass to the pick and pop man. He definitely needs to add some passes and he's also he's going to be more of a pick and roll operator because he's Not incredibly explosive and I don't know that he's going to be zone WHO's going to get downhill and put so much pressure on the defense where they have to rotate over and he's going to open up a lot of passing lanes some he was basically the point guard a lot of these games. He was the guy controlling up top and then they run guys off of screens. We did you know his five assists in in Europe in twenty five minutes pretty. Darn, good. But some of those were Kinda. All right. The Guy came off the screen he didn't really do anything a couple nice post entry passes as while he did it at a good lob chemistry I. Think it's also talking about his situation as well. I think it was probably a pretty good situation for him. Offensively had the ball in his hands a ton. You know there aren't you don't have guys in Europe generally who are like way over thirty percent. Usage the way you do in the NBA. So for his age, that is a very high usage at twenty, five percent and other some of that is because he turned the ball over much that counts that counts in your usage also but you grant Jarrett would roll the basket a lot that was the main centre. They had Derek Willis as a stretch force of the floor was spaced pretty well a Zoran drug each also on that team does Archie Goodwin. Though he didn't start they. Didn't play as much together. So yeah I mean I'm not wowed by his passing. But when you have one guy popping one guy rolling, you have some options I think he did a pretty decent job was those and something I liked about Hayes, an unusual for an eighteen year old is that other than when he got pressure and yeah that's a pretty big caveat. Hey, seemed patient. Would you don't usually rush and pick a rolls didn't usually rush the passes would see where things go kind of knew where things were supposed to be, and that is a very good element of a game for. A young player because I mean you and I talked about it a lot on the NBA cast of these point guards that rush the often put their teammates into problems because maybe Russian wiggle screen or things just aren't ready at the right time and so then you kind of Jim he's up and I do really like that. There'll a bunch of different things like as you said, like some of the, there's a really nice interior will bounce pass. He had a couple of Nice entry passes that I did really enjoy. I brought it pass philosophy too. So it's it's interesting with him yen like Hayes I. Think his ball handling can get better. He doesn't have a lot of he's not beating or shaking his guy a lot but he does have some moves kind of seemed like he did it in the abstract sometimes rather than using them to really create separation. That's something that can happen though NBA athleticism is is Different than what he's facing, you know like the German German league. In the euro. Cup so I think that they're like with Hayes and this happens a couple times every class of people where it's like, you see the path where they could get a lot better where he could get to be a, you know a top twenty point guard league baby even the top fifteen I top ten might be a little bit of pushed just because of the physical margin that he's that to me that he's going to have. To make up like you would have to maximize like a Lotta different parts to get beyond that just because they're always going to be deer and foxes and Russell Westbrook and those types of players in the league. So I think that I see the positives with him. That's kind of I think what you were vacillating to and the other big element of his offense that we haven't got to. The big element is his jump shot and I got.

"Haven't signed up yet for don't on prime I, encourage you to do so monthly we're always gonNA keep that price the same. But if you want to sign up for a yearly membership, we're going to have a special coming up shortly probably within the next week or so won't be as good as the founding member special but if you want to sign up For a year, we'll give you a much better deal than what is out there right now. So let's get right to it here with French Point Guard Prospect Killian Hayes Danny. Yen. Killing Hayes is an interesting kind of set measurements in bio. So Hayes vespers, I could find six, six, five, maybe six to sixteen pounds with a six foot wingspan he's nineteen July two, thousand one birthday admits played all of his games at eighteen or younger in Hayes. Was Born in Lakeland Florida as that's dad was playing the NBA but he grew up in France because his dad signed up with chalet and he's and Killian Hayes started playing for their under twenty one team. When he was fifteen, he joined their senior team in twenty seventeen shortly after his sixteenth birthday, a basketball, thou- borders twice and joined ratio farm in twenty nineteen, which is where we watch the primary part of his film as was also the. Mvp of twenty. Seventeen Phoebe you sixteen and was got us on the twenty eighteen you seventeen. So he he is French but he hasn't you know has has even roots and that led to an interesting thing because his dad nudged hayes to instead of playing in the US, which could then for high school and college or going to a French Academy instead, he's Fed a large portion of his youth playing against grown men. Yeah and he was reasonably effective. Just some of the top line steps for ratio farm, whom by the way I will say this after watching film you've not lived until you've listened to the German announcers for a basketball game just the intonation, the excitement, the interspersing of various English basketball terms in a German accent. It's really everything that I had for even though of course, I couldn't understand much of it. Other than the English because I do not speak German sadly, but the top line stats a very interesting they played both in the German League, Hayes Played Twenty Games there and they played ten games in the Euro Cup, which is like the level below the Euro League So it's not champions, league? It's out guy can't remember what the name of the one like Laura. Yes. Thank you so So you're playing against teams from other countries there as well and so across all leagues five ninety, one true shooting percentage not bad twelve percent defensive rebounds turned it over incredibly high numbers they're almost twenty five percent turnover percentage twenty, four percent usage pretty high for a guys H he was basically the starting point guard for his team and he had a ton of assists as well despite. That crazy high turnover percentage, which is about as high as I can recall seeing from just about anyone frankly. But that is generally improves the we'll talk more about that. Obviously had a lot of assists as well. I mean to average he he played twenty five minutes a game averaged five assists and that's in Europe across all competitions where they are little stingier also a decent if not ridiculous steal rate and. Then from three point range takes a lot of threes but doesn't make a ton of them twenty nine percent from three for the lefty but he did shoot for his career as well over eighty five percent free throw shooter. So some reason to believe that that could come around he was taking some pretty difficult to attempts. So I think we should probably just start for a point guard prospect as lefty Let's. Actually a little bit about more about his physical profile. I. You mentioned the six eight wingspan, but to fifteen that is six five. That is a very solid body for a guy who who played most of this year at age eighteen. He just turned nineteen in July and what did you make of him from a physical standpoint? So I I kind of vacillated a little bit I mean there were times when Hazaras Maybe more slipperiness that we had a couple of decent dunks in there but especially, in terms of applied athleticism I think this is more of a defensive thing than offensive thing. I didn't see much as I wanted to. But remembering that he's not necessarily going against his peers, you know playing playing in the Euro Cup. Eighteen years old and so i. You know he didn't seem like like an above average athlete especially laterally to me, but there were times where he looked better than. That then some of them were disappointing one. So I'd say like in the kind of in the average range but not anything like the the ones that really spark you like for me like deer and Fox like nothing close to that. Yeah. I would say he's probably GonNa be below average athleticism for an NBA point guard, but he does a pretty good size to some degree to make up for that but. Is he going to be quick enough to stay with a lot of ball handlers in the NBA probably not i. think he's going to struggle to guard a Lotta Point Guards in the NBA just do is the fact that he's a little bit slow. He's not an elite athlete get a little bit better in that area and I think strength could be. Something that eventually with that two hundred, fifteen pound frame becomes a big plus for him, you know physically I kinda saw him as a mix between James Harden and de Ngelo Russell where both those guys have some size. He doesn't have the same big wingspan that harden has hasn't harden also was much more explosive. I. Think Than People Remember when he was. Younger and even as recently as twenty seventeen twenty, eighteen year, he was getting up for big dunks like Enrique Baron draymond green in the playoffs, and that's not what Killian Hayes is going into. You know if he if he gets a chance to dunk it, he'll just go straight in and get a little like two handed flush but he's not really to. Dunk the ball off a to feed he's not. You can never go get now. You know it's not that type of thing..
NBA Big Board: Kevin O'Connor
"Kevin O'Connor the ringer housing ranked number one on his big board. I can't find any teams that have in there. But I'd love that Kevin did that I I like thinking outside the box I think he makes some really good arguments about why Hayes. Could be that Guy I. Don't think that we're going to see him go a number one and I'm not sure that we'll see I don't think we'll see him go in the top three, but he's fair game. Pretty much anywhere after that and again much like in tires Halliburton's case it little bit I the beholder. He's got off so many strengths going for him and I the big thing that you hear when you talk. To Scouts about Killian haze over and over again is just they love how much he has improved his game how much he's worked on his game how he shown up and become a much better player over time and when you look at young players, you wanna see them evolving. You WanNa see them growing. You want to see them adding to their game and there's just been so much. Of that for Kilian Hayes this year that if you want to talk yourself into Hayes, you talk yourself into now that he faces NBA level competition. What sort of things and wrinkles is he going to add to his game? How is he going to adapt and how much better could he be down the road because he's got the size excels with a ball in his hands he's. Really committed defender he's got hike. He's a high character player. You know that lack of like elite burst or balance is is an issue He's left hand drama net that's an issue is shooting a looks gray. It doesn't always go in and you know he shot around thirty. Thirty percent from the field from three point on this year. But he was eighty seven percent a free throw shooter I think for. He might not be the first international player off. Off The board? Because I denny Adia is is a possibility to go ahead of him, but he's definitely going to be one of the top two international players off the board and right now having ranked slightly higher than Denny.

I guess I don't know this is the honest answer so no. That was a great answer. Great answer aligns with a lot of a lot of things we know about kind of resilience and it's tied to optimism really having that outlook on things in one hundred percent is I mean you know I got so. Nope all the guys who just came in your stop loss because they're creating a fourth brigade tenth division and I'm like this is getting all kind of crazy you're creating a mountain division down in Fort Polk Lake. We're like well. It's just temporary until they can build the billets in drum for us to transition to and I'm like oh yeah they're still creates found and and poke ten years later right now so he's ever GonNa Happen. Yeah I didn't know that. Yeah so that was a brand new unit brand new new activation on the first time this happened in a while. So it's cool to be a part of activision ceremony and that'd be a part of the mountain for me. The amnesty I couldn't ask for a better I Unit because there's not many times where you can go right out of college and they're gonNA give you Unlimited budget to create an entire computer infrastructure. Like there's just no company that's going to trust someone right out of college with no experience to do after they're like. Hey man go at it. So I'll take in Microsoft classes setting up servers on programming. Like routers and stuff you're Cisco's is awesome Nice but but But that was the problem is once. You're that computer network guy. And you know all in any enters outs of the network and you have access pretty much. No no one else does can't really go far from the unit so I think it was a curse and a blessing that I was really good job with the unit. Just didn't want to get rid of me because I I had all the The network kind of squared away. So I guess going back to how I got to ranger school because signal officer and a freaking field artillery hey baton fort polk and by both my battalion commander my battalion exa were ranger Sony Ranger Regiment Scroll guys both add mustard stains that are just like all stars and We of course on staff always did staff PT. Every day. I mean you know how ranger guys are. Chris Josh Davis at the old school guys. I mean Colonel King and The other journal of had some reason but They would just run us into the ground every frigging day and I was the only one who can hang with them so once they got slots you know because it was an infant Brigade they got a bunch They sent me up to drum for light fighter infantry school and it was what the lur skies always those guys is those guys fucked us up a really really bad yeah like that. Pre Ranger was way to the ranger school. Like if I was like literally in the back of my mind like if I want nothing to do like it was just it was bad I mean they just rocked us. Setting only four of US actually got recommended ended even go out of like a classic fifteen but We came back from life Hunter Infantry School and they will be scheduled for class. Listen I I went to ranger school and it was funny like I knew nothing before I went there. I I didn't know the ranger creed. I didn't arrange your hair book. I had a high title screwed like nobody. Set me up for this like because you know we went to pre ranger they did make us shave our heads. I was GONNA say why. Why didn't they put you through some of the same thing saying they just crushed US physically? All they wanted to do is like destroy us. We did some operator stuff. But they didn't tell us about the creed we didn't do the retreat once turn to ranger so it was just just blew my mind when I got there so the steep learning curve. I was actually in the parking lot. So thank God. Somebody brought this like electric like shaver and converter and my Susan trooper winter shaved my head like literally minutes before I went to like in process. God notice our you know how I got through. Yeah but I mean I do. It's like once you get there. It's all about like I was saying. Poke team the of guys on staff that was there with just made that unit not experience so much better because they're hard workers they're supportive. Nobody was trying to backstab. I feel like now in the special ops man. It's so competitive right. I'm guys are really trying trying to put themselves in front of us at the in front of others at the expense of their relationships. And I'm like dude. We're on the same team. Same fight but some guys. Don't think like that they're like no. I want to ask my career. I want to get ahead. I need that next job that next position and and to an extent I can see that. Because you don't WanNa go on deployment and how you know the shitty mission or the author Tapan security while these guys are out there kicking in doors but You know it is cutthroat out there so I think just having some of those experiences versus the ones I had back in POCA looking back. I'm like man as as guys are actually pretty legit. And we had really good deployments Iraq we did we earn maneuver role. Even though you're tillery serie out there conroy in every day and doing a lot of stuff that we weren't trained to do but you know that's the thing in the military you daft and overcome and you know we. We didn't lose anybody which is a huge thing. We had a lot of attacks. Stuff happened but grapically experience so what year was this that you went through ranger school then. Two thousand six Yup. I have been apple for two years As firstly tenants and and of course I went through the class with all the regiment guys SPEC floors and all the guys going so I was like. Yeah it was it it was it was hard man like what I I was able to. You know work with those guys because I think you know I wasn't listed kind of understood basic. It industry what they went through but again they don't see that you know and say learn I mean you. Of course you don't have rank but everybody knows who the officer listen guys are they just went through suck or not socks the it is what they ran that yeah right before they arrived so it was a pretty you know they go to relieve ranger as well so rask grasped get in and they go through a pretty grilling prearrangement much better than yours because they accident. Prepare them for almost go immediately. So so you're in shape like I had A. I had a break for a month for actually had to maintain everything and But I mean ranger. School is different animal. I mean every every every statistic is right around the same matter what rules they implement. You know it's about a fifty percent pass rate. Maybe like twenty percent first time but you know everyone's like Oh you know the integration of females. Nothing's really changed. I mean the standards are the same I was there when they were letting females go through and the thing that I think I found. I'm I was going through. Best Ranger training or any females going through yet in two thousand six birth. The thing that I saw. They're having the most trouble with was actually the CBS. CBS T.. So they went out did They're having a hard time on the roof. Bruce being able to hang through the a lot of time in drop but They got over that and everything was good but I thought ranger school was pretty good experience for me and now entering winter phase. It's funny like every school that I've ever done. The army's been during winter and we've had snow we are open to Galanga and just on this like death March.

"Oh get mad at each other because just like anything else in life one events going to go wrong. I remember that year Eric and I want it. We're on the Tri Tower. So this is a bay to we made pass first day. We are in really good position. Top three you never really want to be in I on the first or second day in your target. You always want to be the guy out hunting you know and and trying to move up in the in the rankings. It's not bad to be in I all the time for at the same time. It's nice to you. have more pressure you tend to make more stakes. I think we actually were in first and You doing what's called a try our challenge so you actually Klein a sixty foot tower and your medicine the eighty foot six six hundred eighty and it's different. It's different each time too though right because sometimes the rules they change up the how you do it so some years. It's approved climb. Wore the rockwall and this year. This past year was awesome because they combine them so one partner did the perfect and the other partner did the rockwall climbing the now is a really cool integration. Because then you could again accused stronger at the. It's one of the other kind of suited towards your strengths. And then right after that you have not tying station to one of the rules is you have of course issue repelling gloves that you don't necessarily want to climb with because it's really hard to get your fingers in this tiny little Rock hold in rock holds that when you're climbing on wall so you either stuff down your shirt put in your pants pocket or something like that down there waiting for areas. CLIMB CHEERING THEM ON. And all of a sudden I see this white thing falling straight down in front of me and it just like I mean we had a killer time going and the rule is you actually have to climb all the way the top. Aw go down the stairs on the back of the The Wall in climate again in the talk never stops that see after achieve your equipment so he That was kind of like the penalty which is huge. The whole events Myself and Nick. We actually set the record back in steals in fifteen or fourteen right fourteen and It was about seven and a half minutes and the time that he had taken for both of us to do. The rockwall is like five minutes and we saw two towers left so it was Yeah I was. It was not a good day. Those little mistakes I mean bad things are going to happen. I could have got mad at him. Mike could've right. You know done that but I'm like hey let's just move onto the next event and luckily that year so the way that they do land out on day two. So we're still talking about the competition here if I were kind of all over the place but day to is After he do the or S- called day stakes. So those are all the taps that you know. NCO's are really good at officers you know. We don't really do that on a daily basis. We have to do a lot of train. Up for it and traditionally. That's where we stand kind of lose points to either really good guys regiments or you know just a really strong. NCO team that does weapon assembly or does a lot of medical tasks US or I mean we even today C. F. T. This year that was integrated into the competition with which I think's amazing I think it's a great change changed from the normal PD test. Where you're doing all these taps and after that on pretty much the whole day you're sitting in the Sonya exhausted then you move right in the night steaks or night Yeah nights not thanks. Thanks night landover orienteering. So you start in the day and you're usually go all the way until the next morning Sometimes it's twelve hours. I sometimes ten hours sometimes. Eight just depends on when they finish up with the day stakes what the weather's like etc but that year. We had a grueling willingly twelve hours we had a full twelve hours came in the way that is scored is the point that you find during land actually added to your score. So let's see if there is a land point point that's really far away deep. been you know some some Shitty draw where you're sitting there fighton. You know the draw monster. That's like a fifty point Another one that through close to the finish line only be like five points so I was like you know we're just going to have to go out and find more of those big points just going to go have to go out there and crush ourselves essentially and all three of the past three competitions. I've done one Landa I have the most wins and went out of his three For Our our team and I'm I'm really really all army. Sports Program actually has an orienteering team. I was on that over in Austria and as a completely different animal orienteering tearing versus land navigation or two very separate things and orienteering is huge and Europe. I mean I got my ass kicked even as good as I am. Those those guys are or they're just run four million miles in the woods going to these control points no trails nothing but Being able to do that and moving putting ourselves thousand a position to where we made mistakes we can still go back and get those points because you're saying earlier that the competition usually on day three. He is pretty almost decided. I think ninety percent of the time the competition is like that the two times that competed and been seconds seconds and even not so much third but the two times that I've competed and got second and I saw two seconds and I The point spread within twelve appoints one year and only eight points and we're talking like our total point scores like thirteen hundred by one thousand three hundred right now. We are only separated so that a year it literally came down to the last event and the guys from regiments RTP. I'm sorry actually. Were in the lead and they decided to to come back from Linda of an hour and a half early to get some sleep. Eric and I showed up three minutes before the cutoff time. Like I didn't even know if we could make it back. We're going through this draw. You're going through the star and I was like dude if we stopped to take a piss. WE'RE NOT GONNA WE'RE GONNA bus time and get zero points in probably end up like fifth-place. Yeah but that's the chance chance you take. I didn't WANNA get second. I wanted to win. So those guys you know doing that put us in a position to where we were eight points behind going into when Adam when we came out five points ahead and then they got us on the dirty queen because Erica made a little mistake there and I thought it was over because you only have up to events left after that and historically They don't tell you the way to the events it didn't start getting more transparent until you know people were like. Hey how these guys winning when a team won twenty events and this team only won two events. They're like oh the wait was really high for these and one of those guys one really low but you never knew that because it was scored behind the scenes so then you know publicizing the weight of each event showing the scores a lot in my opinion way to make it more for Competitive which in their mind the other way around. If you didn't know your score you would always keep pushing. You never really knew you know what place or how far ahead or behind you're But in the years that they showed the scores in the results I mean it was twelve points eight points we were so close. It came down to literally the final buddy run and I remember standing there with the RTD SAR Major. And he was trying to side side. You know what the wait was going to be because there there was kind of like a rolling way that year so he brought us all over there and if it was a weight one I would have had to have had four teams between myself and the other. RTD team And that's hard to do so all the essentially had to do to sit on our heels and make sure there weren't any other teams is to create a point gap But we were able to you know pull it out and he called it a five point eight five. which is the highest weight that you can get outside land now so All we had to do is actually finish in front of them and we were. We were down by three points so like we only won by two points it it was but we will if they would've come behind us once once we were like long gone. Like I was literally pushing Eric. I was like dude. I don't care how tired you are. Were never going to get an an opportunity like this like we're so close we like if you don't know how to dig deep right now. Dude I don't know if we'd be friends anymore situation this is like this is like Shit and I. I taught running pushing them as they. Don't you turn around like he's a close early. I was there right behind us. Those guys are like a half a mile mile back right but I did want. I didn't want to let go rising the best ranger crop. You never know I've done runs you go around the corner and he's got a weight vest sitting there that you got to pick up that you aren't even thinking about now you gotta wear weight vests or you've got to carry a kettlebells. Sounds like we could be in the lead now but something can change later so I was like those get very thing you got the once gone another few teams finished in between kind of create a bigger gap. But I mean like you were saying like it. It took me five years parts and a lot of teams. It's taken them three or even a reason. They created the rule two years ago as role I think it was his eight seven three. I'm I am a two years ago when they want. But the rule I mean the rule in my opinion I mean last year. made it so easy for Rosenberg. Men Too and they were the first team to ever win it twice for the same guys and now Roses the only guy who's wanted three times so so that was mainly because none of us were allowed to come back in peace so essentially they were the only experience guys in the whole field and they just ran away with it. The competition in my opinion wasn't even interesting because they were so far ahead that nothing they did you know. Move them out of first place so it's kind of like Oh those guys are GonNa win. We don't even need to do that. Other ethnic event think about a couple of years from now. I mean it's going to be like what we were just talking about where there's not gonna be that same level of competition and not going to be competing against the guys that have multiple both times where have comparable because what what are the odds of or of the teams that actually compete. How many of those are multiple repay percent? Yeah so I know all of this show stress me. Yeah by heart so I mean yeah this twenty percent return competitors every year eighty eighty percent of the field our first time competitors. There you go so your odds now or going to increase in your chances because you're not necessarily competing against can't skies who've come back multiple times and even those guys that return multiple times. They're not always the same two guys like. Yeah one dude might go and get another partner The next year so that means you know again. Your weak link. That new partner has never been through this and it's a big learning experience and that's the thing it's all I guess we didn't explain it in the beginning but the competition is you know. It's a lot for bragging rights so you're.

"Actually saw. Oh you of course you know I saw you it meaning along with about one hundred other dudes and the best ranger competition in two thousand sixteen when I was there and because it was that year where the two guys National Guard Green Berets one. Best Ranger in my buddy and I were talking talking about that as we walked away. Wow that's a big deal in so that was how I knew your name knew about you. And everything from was from that point to be honest honest. Yeah no exciting moment for us Definitely a big point history. Not just for the guard but as you said the last green beret before doing it was a Colonel Collins on if you guys know Liam Collins he's pretty well known throughout the Guy Works up at the. We just retired. Actually out of West Point Houston Coaching and mentor. Ship up there after doing his time. with With Kagan I think he's doing some stuff with Ukraine rain but He was actually the last green rate. Went into seven and Yeah took US until two thousand sixteen Nine years for another Eric Green Beret and if my history is correct there is only three green berets in the history of the competition. Who have been able to win the title? So I don't know why more guys is no go out I think the training and actual competition is topnotch. You're literally doing every single deployment task pretty much acid arranger and for the most part of special operations guys of course you have nine tour core tasks so a lot broader spectrum than just you know. Da Specific more like Ranger Battalion But Yeah I think it's just the best way to train. You literally go out there and do everything that you would be asked to do. But in three days eating Maris Ariz no performance. You know food out there like on the Spartan race pro team spectrum field or side of the house but Yeah I'm just I I mean that was pretty much my one of my career highlights and it took us a long time to get there. There were some guard haters out there. Maybe some green beret eaters but Hey man where we're resilient just kept coming back until we won. I mean that was the goal. Like just keep coming back until you know. We're the best of the best. Unfortunately now they ever recap on it. They put a three competition in the history of your military career. which sucks and I get it that? They're they're trying to limit. There's a lot of people trying to compete. I get it that a lot of people spend a lot of full time away from the unit training and all that but I mean this. This is a healthy. It's also it's not just a healthy thing for there are soldiers and while ACA say anybody who's reign qualified ACSI wanted attend this thing for there to be He. Some level of competition even if there's a pre level to distinguish it down to a reasonable number of individuals you know or something of that nature as a as a single gate but this is so important for recognition outside of the community. I mean there's so many people that know about best ranger competition and so it's a marketing. Yes it's a great great marketing tool used to be on Fox ESPN and Actually at resell this year by the producer. The guy you know who does a lot of the videos stuff He's out in California and they want me to do some commentating this year. So I'm all about and I think that that would add to a different aspect aspect of having someone who's competed in one to provide you know there's a lot of people that's that's the disconnect is if you don't have someone Right they're able to talk the talk and and translated to the civilian side and you lose that popularity because a lot of people don't understand exactly what we're doing Why it's important how it relates to either combat or our party units but like you said I mean we even had it regulated by SAR major daily or? You're only allowed to train for sixty days before the competition so they they did put a regulation relation before they put the three Time or three times that you're able to compete cap on the event but I guess I mean trainings training. What are we gonNA be doing if we're not training for the best ranger transition is actually more in depth than my opinion a lot of times especially in the guard? That's more training. We're going to do all year and and for some conventional units. That's more training in those three months. Doing all the tasks that were required to be proficient at than a lot of units are able to do so you become more proficient Russian and you actually go back to your unit you know one hundred percent across the board unable to be a train the trainer and actually you know be my opinion more effective leader. Because you're able go to you know. Give those skills those asset you learn to mentor your shoulders and those under you or you're already qualified so when those guys is there out doing training you can be a mentor. Be You know are so or do something in the rule to support those guys. Yes so Scott setting over in wells and there's many people are going to be listening to this thing that are civilians or that are not in the army and may not be familiar best ranger competition so take us through that because I can tell you that for the people that I usually bring due to best ranger competition for them to watch it. I usually come there on Saturday because I know that the individuals who made it to that point are going to be pretty much your final final teams and those that are in. I would say the top six you pretty much at the bar so high that somebody seven or further down at least from the ones that I have attended. You usually don't have a chance so take us through how grueling this whole thing is yeah so the best Titian essentially you know seventy two hour event bent nonstop. You have twenty twenty five of events or what they're called and each one has a different weight so let's say you know road march might not or would have a higher weights eight. Then let's say you know just putting weapons together blindfolded or under nods To you know standards be able to do a functions check All all the other events I mean we have obstacle course military specific we'd actually had a spartan race within the competition. I remember that. Yeah which was grueling. Like people out on it. It's like man that's just one events and I'm like Oh you have like we go through the Derby Queen we do Spot jumps. They've got away from those just because it's a little hard for jump master kind of puts you out to the same standard every time so that one typically wasn't waited much but You know on a medical tasks to do on a ranger first responder or t try see what we call a special operations and grenade-throwing I mean. Just you're out on ranges. He's doing stress shoots with every type of weapon system you. Yeah Yeah and this past year was amazing. They've got these like really high speed like back in two thousand nine. When I did it for the first time it was pretty basic? It was strong. Rangers GonNa win. You know whoever wins. The Road March whoever Wednesday night land of and doesn't make any major mistakes is GonNa make the cuts and like you said like after day. One you've completed you know four or five whatever ten events and depending on how you did in those events it's and what the weights were. You don't know if you made the final cut and that's what's so like kind of grueling is you know we start with fifty two teams. That's one percent of the most elite rangers and just to give you a statistic. There's only one percent of the military that arrangers only one percent of our United States population. That or even in the military. So you're literally talking about the best of the best of the best and that's why it's so frustrating. Competition went to a limit because that's what they are trying trying to highlight. And if you're no longer able to compete as a previous winner or if you've done it three times on the kind of takes a little bit of weight from the competition not only that but I want compete against someone like you who has won it. Who has been there? Multiple Times won't win against the best. Yeah absolutely I don't want to just go out there and these a bunch of guys is this year that happened to be less of you know less than the former group you know like in your case you went. What six times The fifth the time I want it on my guy and then the the six times went back third an the first time I did it on active duty. But that's like with the competition Titian is about like your. There's only been one team in history competition to come out on their first year and actually win it and that's is just an enormous feet and their coach had wanted the year before. So that's like the most successful teams as if you can find a coach for one thing you can actually of course dedicate the time needed the training and you know you can either Fort Benning or a similar environment because humidity down there as we all know is crazy and It just helps to be on home turf and get acclimated committed so He The first year I did on active duty was just an eye opener. I had no idea about it. I had no is actually asked to do it during the deployment that we had just got back from two months prior to doing the competition. So we're over Iraq for fifteen months when he just background like House and it was actually episode guy who used to be with ranger regiment. who asked me because I was always working out when we are deploying our we're at the at the deployment and he was like yeah? You do best ranger and I'm like I don't even know that is what I'll do with you anything I do. You Know Don Know Best Ranger is like why didn't go through a cycle that had best ranger going on. I went through the winter class. Just before Best Ranger kind of started and I mean it's just it's grueling. I mean it takes you a few times even figure out how to train for it because someone can tell you you know what the competitions about you can listen to this podcast. You can read books. blogs articles. I've done a few for soft lead and having journal but you don't actually really noticed like until you get out get your boots on the ground and you actually experience it for yourself and find out what your weaknesses are. What your strengths are? And not only that your partner the relationship rotate between you and her partner is the biggest single point of failure or success in the competition. You guys have to work together. You.

this is exciting what isn't what we're talking about why do you need to know about this will stay tuned doctor Neil Levin is on the line here Dr eleven is a chiropractor he's a nutritionist he's a long time adviser for purity products welcome doctor eleven so great to have you back on the show today this is a big story isn't it absolutely Steve and let's cut right to the chase here that discovery you talked about at the top there it's cruel oil because crude oil is simply amazing for us it's great for the heart great for that choice fantastic for the brain for the eyes I mean I have people coming into my clinic every single day and they want to feel better I mean they want to feel physically better stronger they want your choice to feel comfortable but they want to stay mentally sharp they want to keep their brain thinking like it did when they were younger they want to protect themselves from coronary heart disease and maintain those flexible healthy youthful arteries for wonderful circulation they see they want to boost their energy why not I mean we deserve it and that's what we're gonna be talking about here today with this cruel omega fifty plus which is the cutting edge combination Steve of krill oil which is so fabulous for us but we didn't fuel used the crew will notice is so important we've been fused to collide with the high omega three concentrated fish all you need to do that when you're dealing with crow because crow's just isn't high enough in make every so many other important parameters and virtues but you got to get that hi omega three fish oil in there we've done that so this is now the best of both worlds but we didn't stop there for the fifty plus years we've added to vitamin D. we doubled the antioxidant power and Steve we actually increase the microwave sixty seven percent so this now becomes the finest omega three nutrients in the world as far as I'm concerned this is very very exciting this krill oil sensation I mean it is all over the news docked in eleven great studies are out there many experts are declaring that krill oil is better than fish oil so give us this low down on this promo make a fifty plus formula right right right you know if I told you and we did talk about this before the show that this is one tiny pill that benefits the joints and the brain and memory mood coronary heart disease wonderful for the arteries makes your hair shine great for the skin I mean what would you say that where is it where can I get great and we have it it's cruel maker fifty plus and we're going to give it to everybody for free today and that's really cool because he wants everybody to try this because they know they're gonna see a huge difference but get this on top of that for the first thousand people that call today we're giving away a second gear because I just demanded this you know we're dealing with the fifty plus years and Hey you know if you're forty and you feel like your energy is low this is for you also but for people fifty and over we're also giving away free B. twelve energy melts I demanded this because Hey as we're getting a little old we don't absorb that B. twelve as well I want you to feel the benefits from this crawler maker fifty plus wanted Jack up those B. twelve levels for you today as well you know one of the value proposition you know when it comes your health it really is a win win this is amazing I heard you say that this can actually reduce the risk of coronary heart disease I made when you hear that whose ears don't perk up after that how exactly does that work anyway you're right right will Kronecker fifty plus remember this is the combination of crude oil with the high omega three highly concentrated the show also which is much higher than omega threes than most crude oil formulas would be so when we're dealing with the hi omega three fish oil we're talking about support for the HDL cholesterol healthy youthful flexible arteries it's so great for the circulation heart muscle strength platelet activity red blood cells that stay nice and soft and flexible so they can work their way through those little capillaries a what about triglycerides that becomes so important so this clinic a fifty plus supports the heart in so many ways and you know the bottom line is we need to think about this because those are getting a little older fifty plus maybe mid forties certainly sixties and seventies it's decision time I mean you know your body's not working the way it did when you were in your thirty Saturday might not be there you need to make a decision are you going to take it laying down to just let yourself get old war are you going to do something about are you gonna stay physically active you gonna do the things you need to stay healthy and getting these omega threes the crude oil the vitamin D. the antioxidants makes such a difference this is a game changer for anybody in the fifty plus age group dot this is absolutely great information I know that I make it freeze talk about that just for a second are best known for the cardiovascular benefits and are certainly also known as brain food now we discuss this in some of the past shows if you would touch on the brain benefits for our listeners listening out there today and tell us why you say that supplementing with omega threes isn't just a good idea for the brain but absolute necessity hello this is such an important point that you're bringing up absolutely for brain health we must must get these omega threes back in there you know when you think about omega threes and you think about brain health and memory and mood and feeling sharp you really want to single out the D. H. A. component that's the doko external affairs that you know what Steve your brain is sixty percent fat body weight and all that twenty five percent twenty five percent needs to be D. H. Hey you know what I use an analogy my practice people understand calcium and bone health rate if you don't have calcium in your diet you don't supplement with calcium your bones are gonna get brittle and weak you understand that right right exactly what happens to both Monique house after the normal strength and structure it was the brain it's the same DHEA for norm structure we use this for one brain nor and communicate with another to build out to bring me the serotonin and dopamine old feel good neurotransmitters so must must have it must get it back in there so important in with this cruel maker fifty plus we've increased the level of DHEA because we put the concentrated omega threes in there now with chronic fifty plus you could get a hundred and thirty milligrams of DHEA per serving Steve leading brand of crude oil you to get.

"Killian Dolly and dollies part will be at the next the next time we go out a commercial so stay tuned for her part they were cut quite a do over they did lots of major hits and Christmas albums of course in Christmas specials and all that jazz anyway we're we're talking about some shade plants and what brought this up in my mind is that when I was not there so large development that I've been working on for for many many years in phases we they brought up one of the problems that a lot of the homeowners are having some issues in some of the deep shade areas and they continued to have failure with grass ends in many of them are planting of the here grass and it's just not doing well and what happens is but here does not like she it will fit on in the shade it and it will be very very sparse in fact we found a spot where I was showing them that the way that it dies is they're they're just happen to be two perfect examples under this tree where part of it was just be here but it was very very thin in spotty and then there was an area right next to it where it already died and so it's just a slow drying process and they were telling me that many of the the homeowners have complained that you know they're they're not going to do press anymore because they've done it three or four times and it keeps starting now if you put this kind of grass in the shade it's guaranteed to die it's just a you know you it's just a given this is the wave nature is this is a plant that likes sun so we can't go in the shade so the option becomes well what do you do in a case like this because we want we want to grow grass well the idea is grow ground covers as a matter of fact there are many types of plants and shrubs I for creating shade gardens because I can make it more tropical looking like it add colour there's either in everyone says you know I am sure you so I can't use any color nothing could be further from the truth I have a property where I have tons of shade and in it is a design that is textbook color in textbook contrast this she I fact I see it just the opposite of everybody else the shade is an opportunity to be more creative and have more variety and when you use some of the colorful Tropicales like croutons like I have done they they tend not to freeze because they they have the the radiant heat from the canopy of in this case you know the oak trees so just stunk just the thought that the here's the main thought the main part is there is always a way and a lot of folks that I I need this they have given up on their yard they have said they've tried grass so many times but they never have thought outside of the box and they have allowed themselves to put their yard in the cage and say I can't do anything with it I'm done and a lot of times we find that they're also sprinkler issues and so.
