We didn't have a trust fund. We weren't legacy you know real estate developers but really Decided to work smart and be intentional about how he's been our time to be able to build that portfolio

"The next thing. I want to talk about which i'm happy that we didn't spend money on is nursery decor and a crib or like the baby furniture for the nursery. So i obviously. I wanted to but i ended up finding a really cute set that i loved that matched the kind of room that i wanted him to have when he was a baby. I'll share a picture of his nursery on instagram. actually so we ended up getting a set of a tall dresser and then a lower dresser and then his crib from kia. And i think all three of those pieces of furniture came up to like five hundred or six hundred dollars whereas cribs that i were i was looking at that. Were really nice. And in the nice baby stores were like just. The crib itself was like six hundred or over so that crib was amazing. It had drawers on the bottom and we used that up until we switched him to a bed. And it's still like in mint condition. I am happy that we did not spend a lot of money on the crib knocking ally and to be honest when we travel to my husband's parents house in vancouver or to my parents property to my sister's house we just bought one of the. I think it's one hundred dollars and it's like a would basic crib for my kierra. And if i was you know. If i knew what i know now and i was having my first baby again i would just by that one hundred dollar kia crib. And that's it. i wouldn't even buy one. That's more

That's what makes you wanna rebel even more. Because you're like. I want to have this experience too but then sometimes god wants to protect us from certain things and i remember you talking about previous relationships in. How not only did someone tell you that someone in your previous relationships wasn't for you but that you weren't for them to. Yeah yeah i would have lost it right. Overturned semi closes express lanes on I-5 South near downtown Seattle

It's where a semi has gone off the road. And so most of that semi it's on the bank mental. We have two right lanes of the express lanes currently blocked a bot is working on completely closing the express lanes. But for now, they do still remain open in the North Gate area. Also because of this, our North bound traffic on East Gate That they're on East Lake. Excuse me, that is going to be closed at Aloha to keep drivers under that area.

A moving freely had to adjust. We've never had to be told to do something bad extreme. There was hard for a lot of people. and. Let let's talk to you guys as a restaurant providing food for you community up in Harlem to. About today is the last ten weeks. You've weathered as a restaurant owner. And in the past week with the uprisings around the country in the wake of the killings of George Floyd. And Brianna Taylor and I'm an arbitrary You know as a black restaurant owner and a black man. What this past week has been like for you but I guess let's just start off with cove in nineteen. And did you guys stay open entire time to close forbid? How did you manage those waters? I'm not a person that suffers from anxiety. I taught that. There's going to be hard times in life, and you will figure it out in the storage room where I'm sitting with you during this podcast. I came here. Lock myself in this room and I started to think like Oh my God this business this concept. This vision that we. have been developing for years. We've touched a community very differently than it would've taken me five years two years to do people that eat in this restaurant now and filtered are not the same people that were eating this restaurant cove it that that customer laugh that customers at home I used to make these these funny jokes and say. Popeye's closes. That's our. You know. We are going to be good. Because people are gonNA, be looking for food pop I started closing four o'clock people were coming into the restaurant, saying hey, man, I pass by this place. I have fifteen. My last fifteen dollars I was going to go to Popeye's. What can I get here? Do you have crispy chicken? And we were converting people one by one, but then also people started to see what we were doing. We started to feed first responders right from. Frontline workers right from the jump. Due to the fact that my wife telling me nurses and doctors weren't thinking about food, and they were hungry the day, so we adopted all of the hospitals and Upper Manhattan and the Bronx to date. We've done fifty thousand meals out of field trip. and. That's our making. People realize that they can trust us that they knew who we were. What we stood for what we could become, and that this small restaurant that was new will right now. We're about ten months old. That was new would be here with us. Through the darkest times to make sure that we had some food or would I call it? Was this Obama hope in the community? Community that those people that were actually going to work and people that were unemployed say one day. I'll be back at work. One day I'll be getting back to receive a paycheck or I'm gonNA. to lose or is it too early to say that definitely has to lose end up and I think it's gonna be very difficult for Bernie Sanders to rebound here the one variable of course the one no wild card is by himself as I say he has not been report he's still the guy who can show astounding lapses of judgment he's still the guy who could make gaffes he's still the guy who can show his age very clearly he's still the guy who can appear fumbling and uncertain and in debates with Bernie Sanders and interviews it's still entirely possible for him to make damaging mistakes I think a lot of Democrats even if
