"Khokar rear starting today with came from beneath the sea. Boy did it. Hello welcome to must movie fun. Time go i'm precious. Anthony be today. we are discussing. It came from beneath the sea from nine hundred fifty five. It's a black white movie but the version that we had access to been colored in. Oh okay i was thinking like who are first movie in color. But i didn't know that it was not originally in color. That's kind of strange. And i do have a physical copy. That's in black and white. There was a time when you could share your voodoo library with a friend and the friend. I was sharing with thought. It was a good idea to buy this in color. Which is why we had access to it. Tic- i could watch my blu-ray. It's good that you had a copy. You could watch but it was colored in. They did a good job. I don't know if you are enough to remember but early. Colorization was not good. I am not. I do not remember any of that. It a big deal at the time in that everybody hated it. Ted turner was the one that started doing it. Give me a year eighties. I guess okay yeah ted. Turner had this network that he was taking nationwide couple networks. And he thought there'd be more interest in these old movies if he colored demand and he did a taste test to prove it he did a screening of casablanca where i think they were showing black and white and color side by side and they could monitor which version people were looking at but just because they were looking at the color version does not necessarily mean the preferred it. Yeah i think you just naturally you're gonna look because it's your. I just naturally wants to look at the color i think. Yeah they also yes and also might have been looking at it and just being appalled terrible. I can't i can't look away and people at the time were outraged at inevitably rightly so but at the same time. When he was doing this he was doing a lot to preserve old films so he was doing good work with film on the one hand and then kind of crap on it on the other hand. Because he's all old films deteriorate deteriorate physically film just starts falling apart after awhile right so they need to be preserved anyway this we saw it in color and it looked fine. But it's originally in black and white. Seventy nine minutes directed by robert gordon special effects by ray fucking harry housing. I mentioned a while back that we would be seeing his name again and here it is here..

The clash as well when i towed at alive and they looked after us fantastically and we actually got an on. Wake up to plant three song coal. Wow which i suppo- where it is. It's it's really good That sent me a very memorable gig. That one thing. Is there a band that you wished that you'd play with todd. Think so. i'd think general have played in some really good bands and his knife and wishing wishing things haven't okon happened now. I'm happy with what. I've done them while i'm still doing. It ought to pain in the beatles but yeah but now housing. They did with drummer ahead. Yeah that yeah ringo's pretty good. He's fantastic. that's what it was like. When you first started recording. The first recordings i did. Yeah esparza i band. That recorded was was neon watermelon. That was the first and we recorded gripe fine studios in melbourne straight and it was actually part of I'm not sure he was running it now. It was a it was an organization that organized for a group of top headline bands. Toco in record and then they was like a workshop afterwards and all the music was played it was discussed amongst all of the musicians and and the people involved the recording engineers and so on so that that was a that was a great experience and in uh that was a good studio back in those days. And i think that that was that was already nas experience anyway and being the first time in the studio pride we've caught love original bands. Haven't you look always tended that while i was lucky when i joined the joe khokar banned all on sale at the time. And which kind the job and it was all original music. We didn't do any cowboys at all. And that was really the first significant ban. I was in and it just went on from there. And i've been in bands that have that of clyde toddlers but there we met ryan struggled to play strider toddler music. I don't have any criticisms of the musicians and bands. Do that on struggle to do that myself. I'd rather just play something that i can. They really involved in in broad and arranging and feel like it's something that with being creative rather than just copying Other music so yeah. I have mosley i. I've tried a couple of kevin. I was in a couple of abandons in the nineties and it didn't last long. Because i just i just maha wasn't in it just didn't feel locked in a should be doing and because i'm not doing i've never done as a leaving a i don't have to play music to to leave by Could be choosy of in some musicians that that income that regular income from plying cover music yeah fair enough that john cova continues to have a tremendous impact on the music industry. Gigs julie's lays well when she didn't lose any it's funny because we're we're only talking about this last night. We played last night at the railway hotel. that's the first Wait long shutdown. But looking back we haven't lost a single gig. I mean it's not like we're working. Hate sweet. Were with sympathy orchestra. Who implying with now we. We probably any work a couple of times a month anyway We have a regular the railway once a month and we we work various appliances So we're not we haven't missed a single gig up to this point. Well that's pretty good. We've been very lucky. We have just fallen in in between all of our shutdowns and an problems. I mean. obviously we win. There was the full month. Shutdown hide a motto. Toil riding months ago Way didn't play the we didn't have a monthly gig. But i think we've missed. What would have been nigerian july. We i think we miss three gigs. Their a name we have an escape was in august by I mean we always knew we weren't going to be applying juryman shut down but other than that will the other little bits. We haven't missed out on a dull. Yeah that's pretty good. It has been gripe spin good but as this is we're not working three or four nights a week so we then we probably would have lost via gigs john. Is there a positive. That's come from the lockdowns. It wouldn't have occurred otherwise figure in music. I'm not sure there's continuing positive fairly out on the fact that ought managed to set my drum kit up in a spare room for four months and and was a practice which is something i haven't done for forty years. Well that's going to be a positive what it goes away a helped me. I have a few little things you know. I should have been working on. But as far as the general industry. I don't think there's been anything positive out of it. Unfortunately leeann unlocked out of things sport and so on that seems to carry on regardless The the restrictions around music is still fighting people and particularly professional musicians uncle columbia friends in living from it. And you know it's very difficult for them yet. Is i think the hardest part is when i decided to adopt this. How you've got to wear a mask and ladder sing sort of thing. I mean a venue can control the dancing. Have you stopped paper from singing. Lock saw forcible on now it's ridiculous It's funny 'cause the the during the the previous lockdown when when we were playing one of ephesus geeks A backup the railway sympathy orchestra music soul instrumental. "Can't take the inconsistency of it and consistency inconsistency coming from who the work so it. It's so much so so it's like drinking from a fire hydrant some days and other days. You're staring at the wall counting. How many cracks in the tile absolutely. Oh well so if that if that was relieved so if we changed that into a better role because this is all you're just in a position right now that that you're just not happy with if we change the position would you be thinking about changing the career. I would think so. Only because i don't i can't change. How the place that i work at now. I obviously can't change. No you're missing hodi said you're missing was set so if we if we what what field would you say your in. How would you describe your field. What with what's that field. Now i field. I mean i'm helping greeting people and you're helping what grieving people. Okay so what. What other industry would you would you be looking at. You came in on the phone call going. Do i stay where i am in this industry but move move positions or do. I change fields altogether. What's the other field. You're considering going into administration and like a nursing home or something. Because i deal a lot with that in my working with nursing homes and i've learned a little bit more and i just feel like that would be something that would interest me more than where i am now khokar. What's what's your favorite part of your role right now. I mean i know. I enjoy the fact that people can trust me and they come to me at the hardest time when something so terrible has happened That i'm able to walk them through the steps and let them know that. Somebody's there to guide them through this terrible time in life. Okay age so that is key for you to understand. That's what you enjoy most right now. So the question is will you be able to get something similar out of out of a role in a different field. So let's say you were administration at a nursing home. Are you still going to have that that same feeling there. Were you like being that lynch pin. You like you like to feel very viable that you can ensure People and give them confidence and give them some peace of mind in dealing with something. That is not fun to deal with correct. That's really the juice that is correct. That is absolutely spot on okay good. So here's what i would tell you. That's what you're looking for. You're looking for all the different ways you can get that and and so it's less about the industry. It's more about that right there. And so when you think administration you need to go hang out with somebody. This is the first part of the proximity principle before we decided. We're gonna actually go this route. We want to go get in in proximity to somebody who's in that role in an administrative role a nursing home. Let's have some coffee. Let's have some lunch and let's get really really clear on what their day to day. Looks like in your sharp enough and you've got enough experience. And then i feel like you. And i just got some real clarity right there on what it is. You're looking for out of the job and if you can get that and you can feel like okay. That's possible for me in this role. Now we okay. We're going to keep moving forward but if it's not we go back okay. Where all the different places. We're talking about job jobs. We're talking about companies organizations where you can provide what we just said and you can feel what we said you need to feel that should give you tremendous amount of freedom to look around and go okay now. I know what i want. And i know why one which is what we just discussed. It really is that you know operations role slash comforting slash counseling slash. You know really. Are that kind of person. So i think that's what you're doing and i do think that it's moving past discount position. Stay there for now until you find multiple opportunities To to to be able to look into and say. Can i do what i really want to do here. All right i've teves this for half the show so a great article this morning. I said i've got to share with you. Fine folks neuro science says your body and your mind get stronger when you focus on this one thing and i've talked a lot about this on the show so i'll be very honest with you. It's kind of fun to see it and go. Oh it's kind of nice when signs backs up. What i've been saying and honestly when i tell you what it is going to go. Oh well my grandmother told me that. My mom told me that well. It's one thing it's one thing to know something. It's another thing to do something with the knowledge here it is. I wish i had a drum roll. Joe don't get the drama. It's okay don't don't get a journal you'll break your trying to get it here. It is the number one thing is gratitude according to the journal of personality and social psychology people who keep gratitude journals. This is as simple as writing down at the beginning of the day the end of the day. Here's the one thing. I'm most grateful for or the one person. I'm most grateful for reported fewer health complaints and they actually spent more time exercising and thus fewer symptoms of physical illness. So you're going. Gee whiz can. I should like to exercise more once. You start by being grateful..

Hellmuth Sweeps Negreanu to Win High Stakes Duel II

"Jeff let's breakdown some poker news and let's start right with the biggest story that happened last night. We actually postpone this episode one day so we could talk about this. And that is the high stakes dual round three while right. It's round two. but match. Three between daniel new infill. How news hellmuth had won. The first two he was looking to sweep agron you negroni was looking to have some redemption and save some face by finally defeating defeating how this was four. Four hundred thousand dollars in two hundred thousand dollars apiece and what happened man. I i mean it's just incredible. It's just this The phil hummy train continues to roland. Nobody can can stand in front of it. He sweeps antonio's fan. Dra wins through straight against him for fifty k. Person for one hundred k. Person for two hundred k person antonio loses his right to challenge fill chooses to stay stool. Boom we move on to high stakes tool to daniel Steps in the with all this heads up experience now after playing doug hold time and time and time again and cash none go but still negroni. The heavy favourite hell me wins round. One person how swings round to one hundred per cent and this week. Helmuth wins round three for two hundred k. A person it was almost the same script. Chad like we saw for the first couple rounds of high stakes tool to mcgraw nude jumping out to an early lead in super deep stack. Play mirani clearly at the edge. I think phil would tell you that as well so ground who had the lead helmi fought back. I think that you can say again. That helped me to get hit in the head by by the deck for sure there were plenty of times flop trips turned trips etcetera etcetera. Now with that said two things number one they got it in kings versus kings negroni one number to fill in one of the biggest parts of the night fairly early on when absolutely ham with eight. Three of clubs against niagara new and his deuces in agronomy saw something in phillips like he had a reader attell. That was weak. But phil followed through on this crazy blah. Ns got through so there's no doubt about it as an agronomy said at the end of the match. That phil hellmuth deserve to win. That he deserved to win high stakes stool to and that four hundred thousand dollars three hundred fifty camp profit. Well-done films what were your thoughts five betting five bedding with a after a suited like. Let's give this man some credit. I've been saying it for a long time. I'm a film fan even did antonio's family oury three in sweep. He got a ground. You want to three main. When when's poker will start giving him some of the credit that he deserves. And i like. We talked about in past episode. It was a win win situation as far as story lines. Go by a. I think this is a feather in the cap for helmut for sure and in kudos to you for pain him to complement and You know saying he deserved to win. It makes me wonder where this leaves. Negra new I listened to him on the debt. Khokar podcast every week. I love it. It's a great show how they recommended and in that you know even admitted that he's he was a little rattled by being beat the first two times and now he's been beat three times in who says he's playing the best poker of his career right now all the studying that. He's done the solver work and he's put a lot of Of working to his game but he's not seen the results agency a year in the helmet high stakes dwells. You didn't see it during the. Us opened in against doug elk so man. It's one of those things like you can be playing the poker of your life but this is a game where results matter say. Don't be results oriented but it does matter you could be the best. Ufc fighter as far as training goes in in pound for pound strength. But of you're not winning matches you are not a winner in in the ufc so in poker you have to be winning as well to be to be a winner in into gronya. Hasn't been doing a lot of this far now. I did say this tweeted it in. Negroni tweeted back. Saint he agrees. I think between the wpa summer online bracelets which are slated to start in one week. We'll be recovering them for focus and the full schedule in the fall between the live and online versions. I think you is going to win a bracelet. at least one race at and he's gonna find number seven. I think it's long overdue. I do think he's playing extremely well. And i think that that's going to happen. I hope it happens. Because i think he might need that. Sort of a boost. He needs a win under his

"From an individual and yes you know to to really maximize your earning potential you're playing against individuals you wanna seek out people who basically are degenerate gamblers and and for me like in backgammon. That got really kind of distasteful And often they were really sort of awful people who i did not want to be around definitely There's you know there's the the guys at the club. They're good guys. You don't wanna take a bunch of money and then feel guilty that you're taking money from their you putting food on the plate with kids or anything like that so there there is some of that for sure and then there's reputation right so i have you know a career and I do business with folks at the club. Until i become that guy who's taken thousands of dollars off other people it's it's not a good look But that said i was in putting game with some guys the other day and we set up a a a good game. I felt like an advantage and we played for a nominal amount of money But i try and limit how much i gamble there just because of reputation and and i don't really take again it's like i don't like taking money from individuals as much as i do from casinos now. Socrates you're married. Does your wife have any problem with you gambling at golf or anything else. She doesn't i think at first. You know with casinos she. She was hesitant at first You know like anybody out there. It's if you're if you're gambling there's always the risk of of losing money and you know if you don't understand why you're doing it than there's there's a natural hesitancy towards it the hesitancy was there But i think once she saw that i was winning consistently in that there's an actual advantage there that makes sense and then she started joining me on plays. So how did that happen. How did you get involved in was blackjack. Your entree to advantage play. I actually poker. that was my entree. i kind of grew up towards the during the poker boom When i was a teenager i had an account on khokar stars and some of the other events online poker was was was going on and then i started going to the casino and I i learned learned to play blackjack. "To get through that situation the first time the incomplete perspective and a lot of ways when somebody asks. What's the value of data. You guys run a data driven khokar company if i were expressed that from an intuitive plane data allows you to stay in front of the projection. Data is that tool or instrument that allows you to balance the projection. That you're coming in you coming into this. With preconceived strategic notions many of which are not statistically true. Many of which aren't the reality of the situation would write would be another way putting it. Data is allowing you to allen's the projection back to a place. That's more in alignment with reality. You have a couple of zones in your career would it will be. It will be really really hard to overturn. the projection is seemed so convincing. Ace high boards were zone for me. Where like the data in cash says three bat in position and blast off on as high and they fall river way too often in that line. I was here thinking. Nobody's folding if somebody's taking top pair of the river on ace high board bear. Just not folding a significant amount of based on that river data says the opposite. You can either sit there and say data's wrong or you actually accept that people must be calling twice with top hair and releasing significant amount top pair on that river that you want to take that one step further you can say well. Why are they doing that. Why is it that the data shows that people check full top pair too much on the river after facing three barrels when i investigated a lot of different narratives what i found and i think i mentioned this last time was in my opponents shoes. If you were to get involved in a lot of different conversations with people who are in that spot and you guys might do this too on the other side of this if you check call twice on an as high board and you have a significant amount of top payer in your range and your thought processes my opponent notice that a lot of my ranges as sacks here. Why would he be trying to move me off a sex when it seems to be such as a snap. Call for a half pot shove on the river. Oh i know why. He's doing that. Because he doesn't want me to fold because he has value so all fold exploitative -ly too many aspects hands here that's why the hotspot works because people are thinking like that people are projecting that you would not challenge their when it appears to be strong but what good exploitative players do as they look at the data and they say okay. This must be a spot where people are thinking that. I won't challenge the range so i'm going to challenge their anthony's thoughts. 'cause they're gonna find a reasonable revolt. This is why the strategy safer than you guys. Think as it's guarded by such deep level projection. at even. If i told you that you are reading the situation wrong refute it because you're projection is emotionally stronger than your allegiance to data. Your projection is emotionally stronger. Then your preference to follow data. Which means you don't actually care about reality at you care about perpetuating your own version of reality but bring it up because this was a huge blind spot that i had to overcome when i really got on board with data toward adamant of not been like two years ago. That was zone. Where like. I couldn't wrap my head around pulling the trigger but the boss this is that how could how could they be folding enough top career and you reach a point where you just have to override the projection. I know how but it's clearly happening. I don't know how they're making. I don't know how they're folding spot enough. But they clearly do. And mrs actually the main difference that we're seeing our top level calls in the cash side. We basically have our top player. Give his analysis alongside of a hand history presented by a player and most of the time. What you see is the top player is doing way less micro range analysis. Our top player focuses on first principles and he focuses on how big the hot spot is in this zone. Meanwhile you have the lower level players trying to like micro range analyze what their opponents going to call with an spot and it usually usually results in this type of projection. That causes a dvd incorrect. From the bull-crap. It usually results in too much passivity. The usually find a reason to talk themselves out of bluffing and a spot where the data says we don't know how they full too much you but they clearly do a must be folding more topper than you think. That's generally they must be folding more topper or repair than you want to believe is generally what's happening when a hospital is successful. I hope what we're doing right now. Creating a firm incentive for you to really start to honor getting in front of the projection. As i'm showing you a lot of ways from a strategic landscape that this presents itself in your thought process at the table these are conversations that i ever hear poker players talking about and it's either because the guys who are healed don't really have incentive or they don't come from a background where they did go through all the adjustments in these projections or just not interested people one of the two but upon seeing how profound the projection is. I don't know how it couldn't become the most interesting thing. Especially if you're interested in continuing to upgrade from this point on because your entire progression depends on you being able to get underneath the next projection. Ugo who see reality in a way that subjective have cleaned up most of their projections. Keep doing that. You're in charge of all of your controllable factors and the rest is just. Although rusted mentioned it with barbara showed up he was having some doubts about whether he really wanted to sell the house and he ended up settling with joe lynn and the house off the market barbara was having a sexual relationship with a younger man at this time. She couldn't bring him home while she lived with their parents so she hurried up. Bought a house where she could have sex with this man. So barbara dotted new three bedroom brick house at five five one. That the next time she found a guy she wasn't going to tell him about that tubal. Okay so i would think at some point. This subject has to come up. Well she's going to lie about it said. Tell me a little bit about russ so ross was going to be. "Jim lee rubber lintel khokar. Yes a whole group of people mass exodus. They left and started image comics. It had a rough start. There was a lot of good stuff going on and invincible is one of the good things to come out of. Interest comics does walking dead. And so i read it. I fell in love with it. Started by the issues collect again. It's one of my favorite books of all time. I think it's one of best complex of all time. It's one of those books that i have like. The i had had the first volume of and i would lend it out to people all the time like look. I know you might never really like superhero staff. This say it's fun. It's interesting as unique. Give it a try. And eventually i lost it because someone borrowed it in iraq. But now i have this big fat boy the stick compendium and i'm not gonna lender out to anybody because i don't want someone thicket but she should now the show is here and we can share the show and talk about whether or not we liked it and hopefully maybe i can convince some people to check it out. Great good sir. Thank you thank you so much. I appreciate it. Where's my round of applause guys into wait. Hold on let me. i'm listening. I i can hear him i have. We have a problem every time you tell the story. You just wait for the chat to put bosmo waiting for actual applause. I think we need to start filming in front of a live studio audience instead of twitch chat. Hey we're vaccinated my. It might be time soon. I now try this show in new york city. I got an people. Do you think we need in a room to have a live. Podcast show accommodate like reasonably fifty inner room. I dunno. I've seen podcast record with three people in the room. Just watching college marissa we can probably justify getting a space for wildlife tens against chen tens of number. That's just like my friend. The nearest catha we need. We just eat men for the podcast. What have we what we at live. Podcast show didn't invite any fans and only invited people that know us. Isn't that a little mashed potatoes now. That sounds good. That's less tori than inviting fans even by fans to like google. You and worshiped you. Then that's mass. Pretoria mike friends or the harshest critics by forsling was the harshest critics. What do you think. What do you think podcasts are. We get we get hundreds of downloads. every week. random people listening to our show is i. I know but it's just saying that you said it was mandatory. And i'm just saying that. That's less bathroom tori than at the actual podcasts. Marcus my experience with events similar to yours at the time at college. I was devouring comics. even more so than you. It was my whole identity in college. President accomplish club. All that junk. Invincible was one of those. That i downloaded and read a bunch. I probably i probably fell off of it probably halfway through the ride now. Ready for the war. The war is when i fell off. So i only made it like six or seven volumes. I think that is not. Because i didn't like it just because i mike comic book hobby was too expensive and i was reading many things when you read too many things that you can't really focus on any when you just have to keep up with what's happening a marvel. Nbc on time for anything else kirkman with what you hear that you were in good enough for nick polish. Nick no thank you. I rather read. What were you reading. Instead of marble slab. i'd rather reduce lovell vo. Ooh we're reading. What are you reading the flash. As what i'm reading now bite or man's i'm reading almost nothing. What are you reading almost nothing. What are you reading. Well humble bundle digits. Come on studio comic books. Yeah and i'm i'm like a third of the way through the irredeemable omnibus. That was in there. is pretty good. Yeah it's similar to invincible. But love visible when i heard about this voice cast. I was super excited to watch. And then i watched it with lexie. Nice the three episodes. Oh let's talk about his voice cast before we even get into the show. Eight is stacked. It is just full of like good good people. I mean you've got like hot boy. Stephen you in in there okay. I definitely said that name wrong. It's young. I watched john stephen. Yup i know. Stephen i say his name like all the time because darren are constantly talking about him and i don't know why said you another punch you in un Who else is there. Sandro golding dancer opener sandro. She is in christ that sandra right sandra. She's incredible. I feel like i. I've seen her in killing eve. Which is a great show. She doesn't killing. Really if i've always meant to watch it. I know it's probably amazing seven. It's not the first season is very good. And then the rest of it falls off because they switched directors and creative leads every so short so it doesn't have a similar voice. Asenjo connection to the podcast. She was featured heavily in our grey's anatomy episode. Guys if you want to hear a suck by the first episode and the musical episode of grey's anatomy. Please go back and download the episode. We also game of spoilers were markets has the gas about the crazy shit. That happens in that show. He did pretty good way. No no no nick. You gotta have a qualifier. You have something. Like i said the hop boy stephen you in a golden globe building globe winner. Okay jason winner. Jk simmons now. No you can't just have their funky trophies. You gotta have something fun. hot famous. hot dead j. k. Simmons fucking welcome to the gun show at sixty eight years old bucket. Yeah guys if you want to hear more thoughts about tickets yes. Jason la land episode. We have the talented the beautiful zazie. Beetz she is seats. Jesus is a force to be reckoned with. Very good and joker. Very good in pool. Two jill gillian jacobs. What's her adjective for arrive. Ver- college college. Aged girl. Jillian jakup's gillian jacobs on the podcasts. At all yet. Gillian jacobs the what. She has vibes where i feel like. I don't know much about her. But i feel like if you met someone who's known her she'd say it say oh she's nice. You know what i mean. She has been for those people. You know those people who when they're talking to you they're like they're always like making eye contact. Yeah i feel like that would never making eye contact. Gillian jacobs there. It is there as we got hot. Hobo jason man's zucchini. We podcast rival jays. Xuetong jason. our show is this. How did this get made is trash compared to now try this. Our fans are saying it your fantasy it. Wow how did this get made guys. If you want yourselves. Combine to our podcast us. I guess they would have to come onto our podcast is we'd at. How did this get made not try. This is coming from there. S okay. We got clancy brown. Seth broken camel. Quinto go to every podcast. You listen to and say we're better. I wanna rivalry anywhere and know what we should do. We should because we're trying to make twitch affiliates at us and you have to make a certain amount of streaming hours to do so we should go on other people that are under the podcast go to gory. And harass them. I think that makes for good content and won't get us band and live from it. I think the problem with that is we'd be punching down because no major podcast is to twitter s fair can you punching people with lots of followers here. You're their armagh come on. We'll do it. Any way is a stacked cast like i watch a lot of animated content and there's a lot of people that kind of circulate in them right. It's always the same voice actors. I mean you can throw a dart at a board full of cartoons and you're gonna hit someone who's part of critical role or something like that. You know this has has some of those two fucking terry mae whitman. Fucking mark hamill. Those are fun. Voiceover gods yeah and but this is different. It's a little different because it has a lot of mainstream actors in there are like a lot of award winners. And i think it shows it come across in the voice acting for sure not to sit not anything against the other voice actors at all but it.

Although some new stuff coming out gonna gonna take a look at but yeah. I mean i've had really good luck with the brand in a. That's why i know so much about you know. Follow them for so long. Talked a lot of guys. We know parade shoes around out now. You nothing is bent at the vapor flies in a couple of mine so trying to get inside early details before a lot of stuff's come out and releasing kinda fun to really be involved in that. Yeah that's gotta be for. You mentioned reebok head verity agreeing on. So what are you running in lately. And she said reebok. And i said repo the last nigga. I think that i had that appear boxes. The first shoe Running into the zigzags in those were running shoes. So she what run. I should've asked that she'd been mentioned. But my i know my okay now. I gotta go his russa's couple of new. There's a couple of new reebok models that are actually pretty decent. A couple racers that really light carbon fiber played in the local the flow. Right fast or something like yeah. Yeah they're decent shoe from what i've heard a lot of people read a lotta reviews or things about them so yeah i'm not gonna not come to their own. I was surprised. I i'm scrolling through instagram and see mizuno has a carbon shoe or something out actually dabbled in carbon fiber plates for two years. Now i haven't i have the last. I ran in. Probably the wave riders breakthrough innovations of those. But i just hadn't seen anything. I stopped i was like. Are you guys going to do anything different. This this made me pause and stop. I had to call. Thomas is like. Is this real or somebody photoshop. The suit thomas is guest. Real like okay. Well every everybody's is not going to the door. i mean. Obviously if you look at what has happened since two thousand late two thousand sixteen when galen showed up wearing the vapor fly prototypes down at a local race here when he ran a one changed half marathon to qualify for the olympic marathon trials the following spring so that was followed. The fall of two thousand fifteen actually And then so. The prototypes you know. Came out in two thousand sixteen and so they will release the public. Vala doesn't seventeen for the original. Favorite flies I mean you look at how much the industry has changed than just based on that shoe loan in everybody says like wow you know that shoe and biz. They did. Is the industry in so many ways. I i don't know why had this theory my hair because i guess it goes through with the narrative that but i'd like to tell myself that hokuto that night vapor fly was inspired by khokar. I mean they they had. They're just just took it up like several isis That clinton was all diversity They changed that. Original clifton was was was something special. Minis like okay yeah. People saw the stack kind of the original abraham high and they started comparing it to occas. It's more like that. Zoomat stone ammunition so light. A might look really similar. The stack is canada. A misperception here. You really goes to the whole issue. Does i think it's the combination of zoom in the end. The plate at those two things combined are really separated from you know every everything else that without the is definitely owns Like it's a it's a it's a it's a habit So my doctors told me not to I can't talk too much about sneakers. Because i'll be back on the wagon or is it off the wagon. I'm not. I'm not sure day you took you took A heart's you. You seem to become house recovery going for you then good. A couple of half marathons here reynaud. Okay one major group but Yeah just putting humpty dumpty back together again and smart dodd like trying remember things work ethic. I might add some short term memory loss. I probably went to work back toward a little too quickly after that happened. I wish i would be at least another week or something often but yeah it was definitely an interesting year last year and i thought you know twenty nineteen pretty much sucked because the air twenty twenty says old might beer. Yeah trying to figure out what is your why now to get up in the morning and go for a run and now know it's like i. I'm such a competitive personality. I'm by nature. Sounds like my kids. Were little play board games with them. I wasn't gonna let him win. If you're gonna be you gotta be so so that it's like really. I mean my love for running comes from like getting out and towing the line and i love to race and I mean now It's getting old switch man. I'm fifty two fifty three next week and staying healthy evidence. Ages is a real trick and Just recovery and you have to learn the hard lessons you know you try to come back to you quickly every time especially if you are competitive and that's the trick is right now. Just been so clean up the last couple of years that it's it's been frustrating but i'm optimistic for the future in to be towing the line and be competitive again. You have any races. Line is anything on the horizon. Potential.

"My white co host is going yeah. I don't understand what he's saying but it sounds cool salad she basically grandma used all my non-spanish megan folks basically grandma told me to go. Look at the freaking door. If i wasn't quiet when she went wrestling was on. But you know she's gonna kick my ass. it's actually it's actually Ties into what would what tap now a wrestling especially. Wwe but took to them back then. It's another form of a telenovela. It's it's a story it's good versus evil your battery babar's good and know gotta fight people in wrestling with getting beat up. Yeah exactly so. I see how the grandparents and everybody were involved in older High school. I was very interesting because something. I got clip again. So yeah so like i was into wrestling high school. I wrestled in high school but like the only thing i wanted to do was like do sports. I don't wanna go to class in class. Boy me so. I was in the whole day in the freaking weight. Room with the football players are eventually became a football player. But i couldn't keep good grades. Then i got into wrestling was good at wrestling coach to really like the coach from wrestling was the football coach from green. Oh i went to high school. Yok yok for a short spell and he hard ass on me to go to class. He's like now you better go to class. They're gonna fucking class. And i would just go to class and just leave and go back to the weight room. And then i'd come the wrestling practice afterward. And i'd fucking try take bumps on the amateur wrestling mats and people would look at me funny until i started actually wrestling people and actually putting people down. And he's like. Wow this kid knows what the fuck is doing and but but you also you're not. You're not really the biggest. I mean when. I remember seeing you. You're not really that big of stature. You built the physique. But you're not really big in high. How how. how did that transition over when people will see you in either kickboxing or or wrestling over. How was how was the your opponents. The they they looked at you. I've always. I've always been kinda like not looked down upon but like overlooked but the thing is but the thing is a lot of people will see being short as a disadvantage. I would actually see it as an advantage and people usually ask me why this i answer their question. I'm lower to the ground. I can take you down easier. If i'm wrestling boxing. You if i'm boxing it's harder to hit me in the body so you'd have to hit me in the face. 'cause i'm covering up my body i'm squatting down. I'm giving you less of an area of target to hit okay. So there isn't advantages of being short. I get it. I should've as a short fired weather short restaurant multiple pretty damn fast. That that that i could see Where was the advantages of that when it came to amateur wrestling because not many people understand the real gist. When it comes to what amateur acting really is Everybody just sees guys grab other and just trying to like our our each other down. What what what does where to speed coming Come into play. When it comes amateur wrestling go question. I so i've done different types of russian history types wrestling. There's there's there's collegiate wrestling. There's highschool wrestling and then there's folks wrestling well actually greco roman to greco roman is upper body stuff right so they do a lot of go behind and everything in greco roman is the waist up right. So it's like. I feel that toll guys do veteran. Greco this how this is just my opinion. You know people can take either one free styling and folks all in and like catch. Wrestling is shit. They're shorter guys better because they're shorter like they get closer to the ground and we can. We don't have to extend our legs so much to do those explosive. Take down like the waste. Lactate and the half nelson take downs. And those you know those those take out that people dread taking you know those those shoulder throw in like the nogi jiu jitsu and things like that and like you know the flange in amateur wrestling the single legs the double leg. I i love. I love double edge double as my favorite. I catch a double leg from any angle any angle. And he'll pick. Oh somebody's listening to listen to this right now. Who lose into the same day. I know god has got nosy. Talking about this guy. You'll be the thing is the thing is to right. You'll be surprised who win. The business is like a shooter or like a like a lot of a lot of the older vet. They call him a hookers shoot. Yes because shoot or shoot is a hold that can do damage anyhow. Whole hooker meant to pacify. The opponent is not meant to harm the opponent. Khokar is a person who applies to hold to fuck them up like the ten arm out of its socket. Soccer robber visa fucking hooker. Shoot around the hook. Oh wow there there's a there's guys who come out of that field who Who able to translate from tobacco from amateur wrestling to to to profession. Robinson is my favorites. My favorite robinson for you when the door when door came came up with for you to go into professional wrestling go to eighteen. When you hit indies What what was the transition like. Was it like okay. So what would you come in with a bump here in our first of all what. He's what were you trained like kind of a mark for business. I was always very familiar with the business. Any backyard about business. So like naturally irate anyhow. I didn't know the business side of the business. But i knew the physical side of business. I knew what a fall was. I knew what the holes were. You know 'cause. I had already known about catch wrestling and like irish-style cholera noble wrestling. You know and that european like like world wrestling world of sport like like those kind of things follows already used to those things. you know. 'cause i went. I actually went down south one summer with a friend and We went to. We went to like a car like south carolina. Something like that and there was this dude that was. He was a professional wrestler. But he was saying they're stretching. Jujitsu guys out judo guy stumble guys tito guys. And i'm like wow. That dude knows his stuff. And then i was like yo. When i'd become a preferential wrestler. I wanna be like that guy. And then i started watching guys like dave finlay taylor regal. Oh my god. Chris adams like christos freaking wodel bro brutal brutal that team linkohr's the benoit's guerrero's the current angles the pateras. I like those guys. The bob apple. Bob background was one of my favorite. If i could if i if i probably say that's one of my top five you bob beco. Whatever it is homicide listened to broker tabloid. What is it to a lot. Turnbuckle tabloid tabloid okay. You already grab it but that the toys one is seven oh gee. Lax fifty one fifty two laugh. Pray while you listen to the term turnbuckle tabloid more.
