"Washington, Boston Philly. Boy. He had the Islanders that were so successful last year, making that playoff run the Penguins, uh, short circuited by their Keystone state rivals who makes the playoffs. What are the four? I would say You're going to go with Washington, Boston? Pittsburgh and Philly. Am I right? No, I'm gonna I'm gonna put the Islanders in there because they always surprised And they always seem, Tonto. Just do everything. Really Well, I mean, talk about these guys Just don't make mistakes, So I'm gonna put the Islanders in there. I'm Boston is definitely in there for sure. Um, I gotta go with Washington. Even though the king isn't there. They got a good enough team in front of them because you know they don't They get goaltending, right? This kid's Samsun off. Never done hell below before. You've never pulled the wagon himself before with Lundquist now, of course, right, But I still think watching you'll get in there. And you know you can flip a coin, but Yeah. Fill your pit, You know, flip a coin can. Here's the thing like quasi ruse, even good hockey player, but his best years air long behind him, and I don't know who's gonna score the goals. I know they got good defense there, and another got great goaltending. Carter Heart. I just don't know who's gonna do all the goalscoring. I know Nolan Patrick, the young kid, but he's getting injuried injured his whole career and then in Pittsburgh is, you know, do they have enough depth scoring behind Crosby and Malcolm to get it done and So you can flip a coin between those two, but I think it's definitely Boston, The Islanders in Washington. Okay, So I got you penciled with those three Islanders, Boston Washington And then you say, flip a coin on the probably the Keystone state teams with Pittsburgh and Philly, right? Yeah. Okay, So let's go to the north. Now, let's focus in on the Canadian. I know. You know this. You're mean Canadians gotta be salivating at this opportunity at these seven teams going head to head. Ah, lot of times. I mean, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Calgary, Winnipeg, Vancouver. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Ed Metin, Why can't I can't wait to see who the four coming out of here But talk to me about that young connects team That's not too far away from you and really showed some speed skating last year gave the Vegas Golden Knights Fitz I mean this team Mary, there's still tend to wonder when Their division. Do they have any shot? I mean, I'm making the postseason again in Vancouver. Yeah, I think thank you will make the postseason. You know, Here's the thing that the M V p of their team can. The last two years was Jacob Markstrom? And I thought Markstrom was phenomenal for four Vancouver. I really do. I think he was definitely no, no doubt about it. He was the M V P of that hockey club the last two years and Calgary when scooped him up in free agency. And I don't blame Vancouver for letting him go cause they got factor. Denko who they've been grooming for years, and looks like he's ready to come in and then against your Vegas nights, you know, I think it was the speed divorce at all, you know. Goddamn code. And that Vancouver, Syrians, Right? You had the verb ground. Denko is phenomenal against you guys. So we showed the signs. And so I, you know, And then they went out and got hold people two years kind of see well of them Coney, The little more seasoning will put, you know, hold peak and teach him a few things and The only cup winner, so I don't blame them for letting marks from go, But he's you Let them VP your hockey team. Go and then Chris Pan of Who's that brick of a defenseman back there who blocked shot, too. You know fights when he had to hit two clears the front of the net. They let him go a swell and he also signed with Calgary. And to me, they lost him heart and soul. When they lost those two guys. And I think they'll overcome it. So I think they're definitely in the playoffs can but I don't know if I'd put them at the top of the division. Queen use still pretty solid defenseman and they get in each mitt from the Vegas cold nights coming in. Yeah, that was a great That was a great trade. I mean, Vegas type of ship him out. Of course, right. And so, yeah, and and to me, Vancouver's defense known H mit coming in, uh, Yeah, I'm I'm okay with the defense. I mean, look, they I think then cruise, the fence is gonna be okay. I've been crew is going to be a good hockey hockey club. There's no doubt about that. Um, you know, J T Miller real solid player on front. I think Patterson's getting better. And, uh, you know, but then they got guys like like Cold War bad Gonna be another solid hockey player and goes out there and win draws scores. 25 gold. Well on a on a Navy two game season is 25 30 goals. Um, you know, then you got like broadcaster who's a good hockey player. But again can't seem to stay healthy on. I think that's gonna be a question mark for Vancouver. Um Yeah, So to me, it's going to be the goaltending I to me. It's gonna be goaltending and consistency. And Kenneth, the young group in this young nucleus keep their mo mentum and can they play consistent hockey and shortened season, I think is what it comes down to. Last year. They kind of they peaked at the right time can is what happened right? They hit their stride. And they peaked at the right time. And it was a fun. It was fun watching them in the playoffs. There was a lot of energy around here, even though it's quiet city and whatnot, But still, But, yeah, Vancouver definitely is gonna be in the playoffs. Calgary real quick because they have marks from now and there were a lot of fun to watch That series with Dallas was just was just crazy stuff, Johnny. Good row. I mean, they've got players as well. Uh, when it pegs in there, and you're Toronto Maple Leafs if I don't have you talk about the Leafs. I mean, this is again how long something was made? I exactly. I just I mean, because this leaves team Ontario's still waiting man once it gonna happen camp You know what? The intense thing you can The leaves are very similar to camp Obey, right. They've got a lot of skill. They've got pretty good goaltending. They got high end skill. You know, they don't have a Victor Hedman. But there's only one Victor have been in the league, but they got some pretty still defense. They got some pretty skilled forwards. Here's the team that kind of took a page out of Tampa's notebook and they went and they got some great And they got the great before the even, you know, like when you're playing these like you play within your bubble can as opposed to the other league. They're only playing against these teams. So Toronto is gonna play Montreal nine times. We're gonna play admitted nine times. They're gonna hate each other. That's in all these divisions. We're all gonna hate each other by the end already hate each other. Well, they're really gonna hate each other now and we'll talk much. We all does. But Toronto and Calgary or Toronto, enigma tenor Montreal and being Cooper. I think I play each other nine times and it's going to get the rivalry going..

Trump campaign drops key request in Pennsylvania lawsuit
"The president, Trump still refuses to concede and acknowledge that Joe Biden is the president elect Pennsylvania just one of the places where President Trump's campaign has filed lawsuits challenging Results of the election just yesterday, the campaign making changes to that lawsuit that was filed in the Keystone State, Sean and Brennan talked about it with Josh Gerstein of Politico. They talked about the changes in that suit. When they watch this lawsuit about a week ago. Now one of their chief complaint was about the ballot counting process, especially in the Democratic strongholds in Pennsylvania. They claimed that Republican deserve ear's observers for Trump's campaign were either locked out or forced to observe from a distance a variety of complaints, including that they were treated differently than Democratic observers, And initially they were actually asking that The vote tallies and all those counties be thrown out at least the ones during which Republican observers were having difficulties observing, and that would be some 600 to 700,000 votes. But in the last version of this suit that was filed yesterday, an amended version they largely excluded those allegations and just went back to some. I think more minor claims that absentee ballots were being treated improperly in certain Democratic strongholds, which is different than saying the hundreds and thousands of votes are tissue. The status of lawsuits. The Trump campaign is filed anywhere any have a chance of succeeding. Well, I mean, overall, I would say it's been a pretty abysmal you're not everyone was filed by the Trump campaign. Some were filed by other Republican candidates or state parties and so forth, But there have been definitely more than a dozen. Maybe up to 30, depending on how you telling them. And really, only one or two have gotten much traction. And it was mostly in the way of as we discussed getting Republican poll watchers to be a little closer to the tables where ballots were being counted, or perhaps winning. In order that certain ballots that came in certain number of days after Election day. Absentee ballots would be set aside, or at least tallied, so that if there was a court ruling later that invalidated them. Somebody would know the number but in terms of actually getting votes thrown out, it's just not something that we've seen happen up till This time. There hasn't been a lot of track then that is Josh Gerstein of

"Today on five different lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign against vote counting efforts to the Keystone States after winning a court victory there yesterday. Judge rules that Kathy Book far the secretary of state of the state of Pennsylvania, did not have the authority to say that people who needed to show identification in order for their balance to count would have until the ninth of November to do it. The judge, saying that she had no authority to do that, so those votes which have all been sequestered and not counted will likely be tossed out. But the Trump campaign is looking at this is potentially a harbinger of what may happen when it comes to the Supreme Court because there is a case before the Supreme Court that is going to decide if they take it up whether or not they said the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania had the authority to order it. Extension passed a PM on election night to receive mail in votes likes of John Roberts, even though it won't change the outcome in pencil. Deal. The Trump campaign calls yesterday's ruling a big victory not exactly divine intervention. But his far is the pope is concerned. The presidential election is over. Trump and Biden hit key states in final campaign stops
"Of the axioms of presidential campaigning watch where where the the candidates candidates are are travelling travelling in in the the final final days. days. And And on on this this final final day day of of activity activity before before Election Election Day, Day, it it looks looks like like Pennsylvania Pennsylvania is is considered considered the the most most important important prize prize and joining us live CBS News Political reporter Caitlin Huey Burns, who's been all over Pennsylvania. Caitlin, Thank you so much for joining us. Hi. Thanks for having me. So you're on the road somewhere in Pennsylvania. Why has the Keystone state emerged as perhaps the chief target here by both the Trump and Biden campaigns. That's right. We're leaving Bucks County and heading back to Philadelphia. This is the battleground of all battlegrounds. President Trump was here making four stops around Pennsylvania yesterday. Joe Biden is barnstorming the state today with this family come alone. There is also here. Pennsylvania is key for a couple of different reasons. First, it offers 20 electoral votes. A huge prize for whoever wins the presidency and also in 2016, it was decided by just 44,000 votes that's such and there are large in and at the margin that help Trump When the White House he's hoping it helped when again, But both campaigns say that this is a very close race, perhaps closer than the polls we've to believe, and the Biden campaign wants to take know voter for granted. They're crossing all over the state today, hoping to get every last vote out. We also know that Pennsylvania this is the first time that they're having absentee ballots, no excuse absentee ballot programming. About three million people have requested an accepted absentee ballots. Um, we've been talking to voters who like this process. Want to make sure Their vote isn't to be counted. You know, it seems like Pennsylvania. Like many other states, It's really an election between the cities in the suburbs and then the rural areas where the president has a real stronghold. That's absolutely right. So you're going to see the vice President Joe Biden, campaigning and places like Philadelphia and the suburbs around Philadelphia, which, as we've seen since the 2018 midterms have shown kind of perhaps a realignment of the parties also campaigning in places like Pittsburgh. The president, meanwhile, has been campaigning in areas that he flipped. In 2016 counties. Ah ah, that, you know that include former Vice President Joe Biden, hometown of Scranton, Uh, that flipped from Obama to Trump in 2016 hoping to maintain those areas support. You're going to hear the president. Talk about oil and fracking. You're going to hear Joe Biden really talk about Krone virus pandemic and making that a centerpiece of his campaign. We talk a lot about bellwether places. What part of Pennsylvania? Are you considering the bellwether tomorrow night to see which way things might go? Well, a couple of different places that we focused our reporting right now. We as I mentioned we're in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This is a place where the margins have really narrowed in 2016. Hillary Clinton wanted by fewer than 3000. Votes, and you talk to a variety of different voters at a early Dropbox location, who kind of gave us a sense of that area as a key battleground watch. We're also keeping an eye on those three counties that Trump flipped from Obama to trump in 2016 1 of them is a place that we were over the weekend, North Hampton An area that we were walking around name neighbors, neighborhoods with canvassers and finding trumps science Next. If I don't sign their neighbors against neighbors, you could be in the same neighborhood and be supporting two very different candidates. So those are kind of the areas that we're watching to see. It's basically a game of turning out your voters. And that's why if you live in Pennsylvania, you're likely getting calls from campaigns urging UT either Get your ballot in or show up on election Day. Hey, Caitlin, our time is up, So I need a quick answer on this, but Do you agree with this? Thought that whoever wins Pennsylvania wins the election. I think it is going to be critical to whoever with the White House. All
Trump Hints At Firing Dr. Anthony Fauci
"The election just a day away. Both President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, busy making their final arguments to the American people were going to win four more years in the White House is for Donald Trump to pack his bags and go home. President Trump on it all out blitz holding nine rallies in six states over the weekend. And planning five Mohr today, hitting many of the same states. He's playing defense sweeping through areas he won in 2016. With polls showing he has a narrow path to victory. Trump is banking on a large turnout on election Day. We have a giant red wave that's formed this form, while Joe Biden is flooding the zone in Pennsylvania, his entire team today fanning out across the critical state. Polls show him still slightly ahead in the Keystone State. Pennsylvania is one of 33 states that won't start counting absentee ballots until November. 3rd final results could take days. But now without any basis, Trump says balance should not be counted past election Day. We should know the result of the election on November 3rd. That's the way it's been, and that's the way it should be. But that's just not true. While projections are usually made no state ever reports final results on election night, Biden says he's taking nothing for granted as he tries to rebuild that blue wall Trump broke through in 2016 guess rubbers to president. I'm coming for you. Hoping to take back Michigan Biden Saturday with a little help from his heaviest hitter, former president Obama. Obama, trying to get out the vote and showing he's still fighting is also trying to make inroads in once deep red states like Georgia, Arizona and Texas, where on Friday abiding campaign bus was swarmed by a caravan of Trump supporters, the president praising the move Retweeting the video, adding, I love Texas and blasting the FBI's investigation into the incident, calling the people All involved Patriots the biding campaign, calling the ambush reckless, dangerous and an intimidation tactic. Sticking to his message. Biden says the president is surrendering to the pandemic. Beat the virus. We first got to beat Donald Trump. But the president's still eager to change the subject, putting on a positive spin on his patch rallies were rounding the turn on a pandemic. We're rounding the corner, but Dr Anthony found she challenging that view, telling the Washington Post You could not possibly be positioned more poorly, adding, the country is in for a whole lot of hurt this winter. The White House, firing back accusing Fountain of playing politics ahead of the election and the president, hinting he may fire him. Don't tell anybody, but let me wait till a little bit after the election. I appreciate it. Now he's been wrong a lot with cases reaching record highs. The president is now blaming doctors and hospitals claiming without evidence that they're inflating the numbers. You know, our doctors get more money if somebody does from, you know that right? I'm in our doctors are very smart people. The American Medical Association, responding the suggestion that doctors in the midst of a public health crisis are overcounting covert 19 patients or lying to line their pockets is a malicious, outrageous and completely misguided charge.
Trump Blankets Pennsylvania, While Obama Joins Biden On Michigan Trail

"I would. I would probably take maddocks from the secondary I know Mike Tomlin was talking about him a good bit in the the press conference. The other day because he's he's had experience watching him playing pit and sharing the facility with them and I really think that he is a dynamic young defender and I'd probably plug him in on the offensive side. You know I mean I'm going to go with Penn state guy would just went with a pit mile sanders I would probably bring miles. Brennan. Seem question you off the steelers your through to the eagles. Yeah. So I think I mean I have to take tdy Working on. I mean, who was the other answer I mean I know that Eagles pass rushes playing well right now. So it's kind of like adding to a strength, but I, mean I'll take him and I love Brandon. Graham. I think Derek Barnett did some good things last week but I mean I would just figure it out. In their more sex does dominate. Asked me to answer easily on defense offense thinking about a lot of different directions here. Now, I like dude you. But I also kind of wonder if you know what do you, it's yet the production hasn't been there this year. and. I. I don't know that they need another guy as much right now as I need speed. So I almost want to say the Anti Johnson here. I. They definitely need speed. I was thinking about him I could go with former eagles often tackle will actually it was a defensive end for them at one point one, hundred Nueva the definitely. Could use some help line, but during my lettuce playing well. In, addition to Jordan lot of the way for that that podcast, you have here dent under. The Punter is also an Australian as well. So there you go. Cameron Johnson, you can throw him into the mix. He's doing really well, actually this season so I give you the names there, but it's TJ defense and I guess I'm GonNa take the Anti Johnson offense. Per Now Bryant. I know we're getting to the top of the hour here. Do you have any questions for Brennan? One. One thing we talked about nineteen, sixty five, we talked about even the steelers and the eagles when they're play, it's it seems like it's been even when they're playing in Pittsburgh I was fortunately at the the two thousand and four Game Win I. In fact, we just talked about that on the steelers retro show the other night I go ahead and screen that on all your favorite places to download the podcast the steelers retro show talking about two thousand and four and the demise of the relationship of Donovan, mcnabb and. Won t o but what question to you brandon is Did the eagles kind of look like look at the steelers as a little brother in the state of Pennsylvania because the they seem to own them quite a bit. I always think that's interesting because I think there's conversation like is there an eagles steelers rivalry to me? There really isn't I think there is more. So for people that live like Middle Pennsylvania like Penn state like the people I know in the Philly area here that went to Penn State. You know like they kind of can't stay in the steelers more 'cause they have to deal with the steelers fans out there in the middle I guess a little bit more. Than I would necessarily out here in Philly. to me there's never been also family from out West like league. Acne PA like way out there in western Pennsylvania. So I've always kind of respect for the steelers. They're not a team that I think is a rival and obviously being in a different conference diffuses things there. But it's interesting though because I mean you're the flyers, the penguins and obviously I hate the penguins. That's a big rivalry there on the football it's not the same. I definitely wouldn't say little brother. Especially, you know the steelers have any more super bowl success by far and everything but. It's interesting. Seeing that these teams only play every one for you or every four years or so I'm I'm real disappointed. We didn't get the keystone bowl back in what was it like two, thousand eight. When the eagles they lost the cardinals yeah, and obviously the steelers go on to beat them in that supervising have been really good matchup. That Year Eagles steelers I would have been fun to see. We didn't get to see it I'm more disappointed about not getting the the keystone bowl in two thousand and four is the steelers lost in that AFC championship game. So that was the possibly radio twice and they ironically, they played each other in both those years. That's right. Yeah. That's true. I want that you know the NFL is moving to seventeen game schedule. I, propose that there'd be like a cross conference kind of local rivalry yearly matchup, Pittsburgh Philadelphia. I would welcome that if that was the seventeenth game every single year I would thoroughly enjoy that as we're GONNA talk here I want to make sure we get to game predictions on this Their final score prediction. So new, why don't we start with you on this one? What What do you think the final score in this game is going to be. Yeah. I think. This is just a tough spot for the eagles. I don't think that forty niners game show them at their their back by any means the steelers are seven point favorites in this one goes typically do well when they're underdogs and everyone counts them outside be. I'd I'd take caution with that just because when they get to a spot where like no one thinks they can win is like When they're invincible and they can win somehow it's just unfortunate. They dig that hole for themselves all the time So but that aside, I think the steelers defense is just GonNa give this offense that can't score already so many problems and I thank the offense the offense is just going to be able to do enough because they're going to be big Ben's going to be able to spread the ball around. So I I definitely think an eagles loss and obviously the by factor to the steelers are. Two players on our the whole roster is basically an IRA and if they're not an IRA hurt in some other ways. So I just think everything is working in Pittsburgh's fever. In this game I will take the steelers to win by a score of twenty four to ten. Brian what do you think on this one? You. Know what I'M Going to get in trouble for this, because I'm supposed to save the prediction for the steelers preview tomorrow night, and also for the pre game. But I'M GONNA go ahead and call the steelers victory. I'm still cautious about this. There's there's a little bit of doubt in there and I worry 'cause that's just becoming that pessimistic old guy, the guy waving his fist clouds. But really what I'm thinking here is I don't think it's going to be the blowout that everybody thinks it's going to be I think it's going to be a lot closer. The steelers are not blowing out teens right now. So I'm GonNa go ahead and see twenty six to sixteen in favor the steelers. And myself running this out I think I think I read this morning that the steelers are one of if not the only team that has hasn't put up thirty points game this year.

"In fairness to him talking about that earlier I think has been there keeping him in war and now he's not the best blocking tight end he's not anything George Kindle again. But I. Mean. They're going to have to do that. They'RE GONNA have to keep guys in because again it's Jordan out there on the left side it is. either. Hobbled Lane Johnson or rookie Jack Driscoll on the right side. So yeah, you're going to have to keep a tight in a tight end in times. You're to keep Mile Sanders in at times in because he's pretty good typically in pass protection they kind of count on him there or at the very least he's much better than Corey Clement. Boss Got Eagles. Backup running. Backs behind Mile Sanders. So so yeah, they're going to have to do everything, and now again I think Jeff Scotland Eagles offensive line coach is a good track record of kind of figuring this thing out and coming up with good plans for this. So I I have some level of confidence they're going to be prepared but I mean you can have on the preparation you want. Against this number one steelers pass rush and it might not be good enough because they're just going to dominate and they're going win their reps and I I really fear that you know Carson. Wentz who had fumbling issues I mean he's fumbled a lot way too much. He you know he likes to stand there back in the pocket almost like a certain steelers quarterback. Do that at times and make things happen. But. Yes. I, kind of fear he's going to be hold onto that ball trying to make a play especially because offense might struggle at times to kind of get that big play. If they're GONNA go station the station all game long and it could be that one time where when strives to hold on to extend something to shut down the field and all the sudden you know the ball's coming out of his. Hand someone's you know hitting him from behind or maybe from the front who knows but but yeah, that's definitely going to be a huge concern I think for as well as the of a plan that might be able to draw up just might not matter if the steelers are gonna be able to execute now Brenner right back to you on this Fletcher Cox is he still one of the best defensive Lineman in football? I certainly being paid like one. I don't think we're seeing enough production in that regard I. Don't think he is bad by any means I don't WanNa I. Don't WanNa don't confuse that he's definitely not like don or anything but I don't know that he's elite anymore and. I think. Does a lot of things that don't necessarily show up on the stat sheet and fairness to him. But when you're playing a player or you're paying player like the eagles are with him where he's like counting for their highest capital on the team twenty, two point eight million and he's not giving you the production in addition to the things he's not doing that show up on that don't shoveling says she Like you need that you need that and I think he went without even having a single stat of any kind in last week's forty niners game, and now that's not really the biggest issue when the whole offensive line is having success in helping free guide up. So you're not really going to kill him for that but. Especially, if you win but you know there's going to be losses here and he's not showing up I mean, yeah. That makes me wonder I. Honestly you know if the can things continue to go bad for them and it could here because they're one, they're one two and one they have the steelers had this week. If the Ravens up next week, they could easily be one four and one very soon I, mean Fletcher Cox as a player I would be looking to sell at the trade deadline if they're going to be that. Say Brandon. I have flashbacks. Sure. Ben Has Flashbacks to two thousand sixteen with Fletcher Cox just destroying him in week three. Even, Brandon Graham those guys were just killing the steelers in that game. I'm just thankful that this game is not in Philadelphia. I don't know if you know this, but the steelers have not one in the city of brotherly love since nineteen, sixty five. I do know that are perfect. You know I do know that stacks I remember game I'm sitting there in the press box and as part of I'm wearing the Y. Tonight I said, you know the Eagles beating the steelers. Dominating the that is definitive proof that is better than seats. Sorry to other people in the. How The VINNIE. Mega. Bold Statement Wow, I tell you what I see a fan of Wa wa I. Mean I live in London and they're popping up here but I grew up on sheets grew up in western PA. So you know that's that's my baby ugly. The frighten word yeah. Oh, goodness. Brian I'm curious to know if you could pluck one off the eagles roster and throw them on the steelers whose player going to be. Well, as the podcast producer and the producer of steelers touchdown under it will be Jordan. My Lada just to hear the are Ozzy's talk about. Talk about him all day long because we lost Jordan Barrier Australia. Australian player. So I don't know Brennan I. Don't know if you know this but on Saturdays we have touched down under with two Australian steeler fans doing the weekly show. So I'm sure they're going to be love and talking about my Lada now I play in. Australian. Rugby. But I digress I I would probably if I'm walking guy off of this roster. You know I've been really have time to think about this, but it would probably be. matic's..

"He has a track record here, and so I think you know when you look at how the eagles were able the beat, the forty niners I mean and re and really tie against the bengals it was because they were able to beat up on those quarterbacks meeting again, thirty three quarterback hits in two games like I. I know the steelers generate a lot of pressure. They're actually like the best in the NFL Outta, according to pro football focus but the. Coming on here with their defensive line and they invested a lot of money and resources into that line. So it's only right that that you know would start producing like they should be and yeah. So I think that's really the key there I mean it's it's about generating pressure up front. They have to just dominate the line of scrimmage and that's really going to give them their best. Chance to succeed in obviously to you're you're hoping for the turnovers as that was really big in this forty, nine hundred game prior to last week in week four, the eagles for forced a turnover since week seventeen of two, thousand nineteen. So obviously, you know kind of being able to use that pass rush get sacks but there was a big play in that forty niners game where Gerard Avery. was able to hit nick mullins and forcing interception that kind of really swung the momentum of that game. And they're going to need more plays like that moving forward. Now there's another quarterback in this match up to that. I, think's worth noting for the Eagles Brandon. jalen hurts in this one that's kind of A. Whole nother animal I know he's been used kind of as a gadget player little bit. How is he kind of a been used in the eagles offense and what should steelers fans can expect when he's on the field? In a small package so far hasn't been like you know this this really big thing. They bring him in here and there hasn't really been super successful. Honestly you know there hasn't really been a lot of fruit born out of that. Haven't really even seen him throw the ball yet. So we've yet to to see that integrates into the offense that he was did try to do a double pass with him against the forty niners last week but they kind of sniffed it out and it ended up being hurts you know taking off for like five yard run instead. So you'll see that makes it in there for sure it'll be interesting to see if maybe. If they go to it more because of the steelers Ashraf is so good in the eagles, how some offensive line issues maybe they're gonNA look to get a little bit more creative with that and and pick their spots. But yeah, it's it's not something I. think that is lethal weapon by any means, team should really be afraid of you. It's something you're probably gonNA notice for like three to five plays if that much on Sunday. Now. Brian would tell what do you have to worry about when you're playing up against a gadget player of sorts like hurts that kind of change of pace type type guy what what are the steelers have to of do to? Kinda. Limit to some some big plays from a unlikely source. Notice. When he's on the field is the number. One thing I guess that's that's Elementary. But you know for me, it's just don't get caught with your pants down when he's on the field, you know that he's Not going if he's there for a for a As a decoy than is not going to be a decoy for long he's not gonNA waste time putting him out there to just not go to them. So you need to pay attention to them. You need to I mean I'm sure that they've been working on practice with with about Jalen hurts I'm sure they've they had. They had Josh Dobbs in that situation with with his speed. They probably had him working out with the team as well and think about it. They've had extra time to work on the Philadelphia Eagles because last week when they found out that there was going to be no game. They still had practice. So, they've already implemented that they kind of have a head start on this and you know the brain trust is thinking about the possibility of Jalen hurts coming in and you're wrecking some things on at least one play. So they're going to be ready for it. They're going to be thinking about it, but you just can't lose sight of that in get caught. You don't want those pants around the ankle man you're in trouble. It's true now speaking of speaking of often lying and some injuries that the eagles. Have really been slammed Brandon now, five five names. of guys that have were projected starters or had started on the eagles line have spent some time on the are just flat out just just knocking be healthy to go on this one. Can. You break down what's going on there and how eagles are going to be able to? Kind stave off the steelers that pass rush. So I, like thinking about it. My headier makes alright. Says want keep track of. Okay. So the it's like June earlier this year they lose their starting pro bowl right guard Brandon Brooks for the season Achilles tear really unfortunate playing at a high level for a couple of years now than lane, Johnson goes down in training camp misses like several weeks we find out he had ankle. Surgery and like August he missed some time at the beginning of the season two thousand nineteen first trumpet. Andre. Dillard suffered a biceps injury in practice and training camp one day after starting left tackle out for the season. So Jason, Peters who was originally resigned to play right guard in place a brooks goes back over the left tackle after he demands a raise and the team gives them arrays. He gets hurt. Unexpectedly didn't even know he had suffered a an injury that was gonna put an ar right before the day before the forty niners game. So now you have a guy named Jordan, my Latta who had never even played a single snap of football in his life until like three years ago and the preseason. Rugby League football player in Australia. He does pretty well, I guess the forty niners especially in his first start. He's out there and left tackle. Left Guard. The Eagles have a former undrafted rookie free agent named nate her big starting. For them and he's on some good things. But again, not an ideal starter Disney Chelsea's obviously an all pro player and he's made a pro three years now so. Good. Player. They're a little banged up though so that's not great at Right Guard you've. Matt. Prior who was a guy that eagles basically not wanNA play at all unless they have to so not ideal..

"Start your free trial ladies and gentleman you are still watching behind the steel curtain know your enemy for week five Pittsburgh steelers, Philadelphia Eagles I am Michael Beck joined this week but with Brian Anthony Davis and Brandon League from. Bleeding Green nation. Brian, we ended part one just kind of talking about the eagles receivers, and they're kind of injury problems on the flip side of that on the steelers defense are secondary was kind of height to be one of those kind of top five units coming into the season. So far. I haven't really done anything all that flashy. And in some instances, people could say have of been. Possibly the weak spot on this defense. Do you think they can kind of return to form of of the Twenty Nineteen steelers secondary? And could potentially make if it's Patrick have a bigger impact in this game. I actually think Fitzpatrick is having impact on the season and I feel like it's a positive impact, but he's doing different things than he did last year. Remember you don't have baron in there. You're seeing him cheat up a little bit. You're seeing a lot out of him and it's not as flashes was last year. But remember teams are not attacking if you look at the last eight games of last. Season he didn't have interceptions in that game, but they also threw they threw his way twice in the last eight games because they remember the five interceptions in the six games before that for the steelers since when he came over and week three. So I'm not as concerned about minkah Fitzpatrick and the defensive backs a whole I think that the they're just getting started I think the rust is coming off. I remember. I. Always talk about the first three weeks of the season especially with Kovin being in the equation this year as their preseason, their preseason was supposed to be over at the end of at the end of a week three. So the rest is off, it's time for them to get started. They have been left on an island a little bit. If you asked me as well because you have teens that in you have the running backs that they have faced in the first three games David Johnson. We know all about him, pro? Bowler. Melvin Gordon for Pro Bowler saquon. Barkley all world what he's healthy. And they limited those guys, they completely limited those players because they gain planned around it and when you have your front seven paying all that attention to those players than those guys in the secondary to be left all alone to fend for themselves and teams feasted on it, they're going to get every NFL team is going to get yards but the steelers are not letting you get those yards rushing the football. Where are you getting the yards is passing the ball in my biggest concern about the steelers playing the. Eagles this week. And Brandon already talked about Zach Ertz but I'm more concerned about. Carson wentz throwing the ball to his running backs 'cause the steelers get torched on that. You know as bad as bad of a game that saquon Barkley had against the steelers in week one, he was pretty good at catching the ball out of the backfield and the steelers get caught with their pants down when that happens as well. Now Brandon with our with our second year or kind of defenses whole. How do you think the Eagles need to attack this unit worst kind of the weak spots and what does this kind of offense Halford view in order to move the ball again It's funny because it's like it's such a not a good save the options really abundant. I really think they almost have to play and I hate them saying this because for too long now, the have played this station to station you know Lincoln down the field it takes like sixteen plays and sometimes they had to settle for three points just like excruciatingly boring to watch is a terrible aesthetic, but they may have to really do that to win this game I mean they might have to just to go on. These Dr Not make mistakes. You know obviously I just in Carson wentz is obviously made a lot of those seven interceptions. He's throwing only seven interceptions each the last three seasons. So really not a good start for him in that regard just has not been good and there's been accuracy issues in there and has been decision making issues. So you can't turn the ball over you almost have to be a little bit conservative. You pick your spots with those kinda shots down the field like they did against the forty niners. It would be great to get Mile Sanders involved in the passing game. As Brian talked about their Obviously, you know a Pittsburgh area native Mile Sanders in up saquon Barkley also back on the Penn State. Yeah, I mean Mile Sanders basically their steep threat last year after the Sean got her after the first game. So if they can kind of get him a little bit more involved he was there for some big plays against the Bengals it was just that Carson wentz overthrow home. Like model Sanders could have had at least one touchdown another big play down the field. So I definitely think. That is something they will be looking to do you know if the series are GonNa have issues with that because sanders kind of hasn't really had that major game yet and I think it's time for them to Kinda wake up and be like, Hey, let's get this guy the ball. Let's force feed it to him. And I don't mean the running game but let's see if he can make some plays in the passing game. So I it's not going to be pretty again. There's no way where they're just you know moving up and down the field all day against the steelers offense but maybe they try to get the ball quake and the steelers pass rush and again try to get it to sanders and see if we can kind of make things happen..
