This after the driver is accused of not properly responding when a woman was being attacked on a W four bus in D.C. earlier this week. It was on Monday that video surfaced of a woman being beaten by a group of young people on a bus. She told Fox 5 that during that attack in D.C. other passengers and the bus driver didn't help or respond to her initial calls to stop the bus. In a statement metro spokesperson Ian janetta says leadership has determined that the bus operator did not follow proper procedures during the incident and that appropriate administrative action will be taken. Responding to what happened, the union that represents metro bus drivers says bus drivers are not law enforcement in that intervening in a fight assault or dispute would place a target on the bus driver's back. The search continues for the attackers. Mike Murillo news. Fairfax county is now going to ask the Virginia General Assembly for more authority to fix its trash troubles. Fairfax now reports the county is considering lobbying state lawmakers to ease restrictions on its ability to impose its own trash pickup model. This has residents say problems continue with American disposal services and other contractors, the county board of supervisors just this week discussed continuing problems with trash pickups by the private, contracted collectors that serve about 90% of residents and almost all businesses in the county, fairfax now reports American disposal cut back on pickups this spring, so far there's no comment from the company in September, the company had reportedly agreed to hire more drivers and customer service personnel increased salaries and credit customers for missed pickups starting in the new year. Turning to Prince William county and the school board there. It's adopted a collective bargaining resolution, but inside nova tells us, the union representing county educators is not happy. Members of the Prince William education association cited a lack of binding arbitration in that resolution. They also say it has an unfair election process under the resolution employers would need to say it again under the resolution employees would be broken into two bargaining units, one for teachers, nurses, counselors, and other state licensed employees, then you'd have another unit for non licensed employees such as food workers, bus drivers and maintenance workers. Principal county schools is now the biggest school system in Virginia where employees can collectively bargain. Sounds like two crazy people suing each other, but actually it's really interesting when you look into it. So you go a level deeper and yesterday was the verdict, so basically Johnny Depp was suing to defend himself. And you might not think the story applies to you, but it absolutely applies to you. It applies to you in the sense of, if you've ever been wrongly accused of anything, if you have a son or a grandson in your life and the world that you're putting them into, that this sort of a cultural battle is incredibly important because it sends a signal to future people that very well might be falsely accused. So Johnny Depp was accused by Amber Heard by for beating her and she said he beat me, he broke my nose and immediately Amber Heard the crazy person was believed. Read them early. Okay on the rise if you're just trying to read the whole series for free. There's a one issue release every week. Basically you can read them free weekly. You can pay to read a handful of issues early before everybody else. Okay on what. I really like about platform his the form of complex. I read web tune. Console my phone primarily because they are all formatted to be read almost like as if you're scrolling through a social media platform it's vertical. Scroll blake just like if you're going through your twitter feed your scrolling vertically reading. it's it's like a comic formatted in that lay interesting which works very well for phones because Like if you compare it to something comics how they have like.
