"But there will be horses that will handle it better than others. And for anybody that's been around horses, you know that the cooler the weather, the more they enjoy it, so we'll see who handles the heat. It's certainly a concern for Hall of Famer Steve asthma and as he spent time with Bobby talking about it. The horse that beat epicenter in The Kentucky Derby 80 to one long shot rich strike was on the track this morning at Churchill downs. He worked for furlongs in 47.20 and Kevin kirstein, who joined us a couple of times leading up to The Kentucky Derby. He's the publicity manager at Churchill. He posted a video of the workout on his Twitter page and I have to tell you, you know, look, looking at it from afar, just watching the video. Dave, he looked really good on the racetrack today. I'm not sure that's what I want to hear, Mike. I mean, that's fantastic. I hope bridge runs well in the Belmont, if he's in such good form if he looks great, shouldn't he be running today? Well, yeah, I mean, that's one school of thought, the other school of thought is, hey, we're, you know, we're going to do what's right for the horse. They obviously thought he was going to need a little more time, and they're going to stick to their plan. You know, I mean, to play devil's advocate as a racing fan, I wish he was running today. And what's good for the horse for a hundred years, the horse that's run in the Derby has run in the Preakness. So maybe rich strike has a better chance to win the Belmont because he'll have had all that time off, then he would have today in the Preakness. That being said, the Belmont field is often better than the Preakness field and to say it's better for the horse. It was that not the case. The last hundred years, all of those trainers could have skipped the skip the Preakness, too. Yeah, you know, the only thing I'll say is that we're not around the horse all the time. Absolutely. So we don't see what's going on with the horse in the days after The Kentucky Derby. How he came out of the race was he knocked out from that effort. He certainly didn't look like it after the race when he was trying to savage Greg blasi in the pony. But we're not around the horse. We're not watching him every day. Like Eric Reid is doing. And so when the owner and Eric Reed sit down and they say, you know what? Our plan all along was to skip the Preakness and we may want to stick to that plan if he's not doing the way we would hope he's doing. And I don't know if that's the case or not. We're not there. We're not privy to those conversations. But as a racing fan, I wish he was in Baltimore today. And the way he looked on the racetrack this morning in that four furlong breeze, watching that video that Kevin posted, he certainly looked like he was he was really fresh and he moved over the ground really well in my opinion. But 47.20 for the Derby winner this morning at Churchill will see him in three weeks at Belmont park. When we come back, we're going to talk with the owner of simplification that is Tammy Bobo. She'll talk about her Derby experience and she'll tell you why she thinks he is a contender, later today, in Baltimore..

"Lost season. He is he referred to himself announcement. Said how would you define yourself as a player and he said. I'm a box to box. Midfielder he has a bit of everything you know. He's not shy of throwing himself into a tackle. He defends spice. Hey can attack. He can school goes. He's very skillful have left on as well. he's going to complement. What we have in midfield very nice late in date really looking forward to seeing him. And i think already is going to be a big big fans fiber hair joseph. But something that i've been really really impressed with necas is just how badly he wants to be here to. Have you ever seen a player. Come to a new team and post as much about them on social media against high like it literally was like a post in our reused said that he hired his own media guy to come with him in spain document. That journey of him coming down to the training grounds in london. And i just think that's so cool to see a player who wants to be part of the study who wants to be part of this culture Embracing at foley. You get pliers. Someplace will move from clubs club semi regularly. Sending begets another for several. Been authentic His whole career in fifteen years so this is a big move. He's grown up at club inspired so this is an opportunity that he said he had to take into something. He's really excited about when kappa join the club. Three years ago as his as framed than captain was hades agreed with open arms Kevin post on this time round. Hey came to me. His friends saw was the familiar face to go him around. As reels the premier league is already underway and the women are already often running in the super league as well but ladies and gentlemen international break is now over and the business of the season is just about to start. Let's get to business because we got a lot more to discuss thoroughly about this team and this is the segment. I like to call l. l. london on london because we've heard was going down in london with the news but let's let's get even deeper with the hottest chelsea news first up topic one lukaku officially back. Is he the number nine. We've been waiting for the al's evesham scores damn goals and i just feel like him mason mounts in habits as this trio like just lukaku presence opens up so many opportunities for them. Let's them to get more space below more creative. So yes he's number nine we're working for and he's just gonna make everyone around him so much. Better andrei how can the women defend the title. Ooh now that's a good question. That's a hard question to because it is going to be difficult as lee mentioned. You'll manchester city gus. From new players are better than they were last season. We've talked him by two points in the league. Last season arsenal also got better. They had a down season last season for them. But they're gonna they got they kind of got some new players. They have a new coach We saw them play a little bit differently than we've seen them play already mentioned that they already have been playing competitive matches for a while. So it's going to be a little difficult to do it. But if we do it'll be our third wwl title in a row which is our rages and but you know what i mentioned other teams getting better. Chelsea got better to chelsea. is a lot of superstars already. Was we mentioned with sam. Curran frank kirby pernille harder is incredible. Milly bright magda ericsson is an incredible lauren. "Life is an artist now. This is such a fun podcast from you today because we've got one of my very best buddies in the spotlight kevin. A gilligan joins us and he's an artist. He's an educator a present or a writer. He's a great dad and husband. And we first met through. Tom ron at least ten years ago. But here's something that it's really a fun for me and true to the internet and cyberspace and and the phone system for eight of those years while our friendship growing we'd never met in person but that never slowed us down from these long conversations about photography and family and life in the industry and through all that time this friendship just kept growing. Now there's so much as life and business that everyone is gonna be able to relate to today i. He's got a day job as a full time practicing attorney. Second when he and i i met his primary focus was landscape but today his skillset has become so diverse he shooting a little of everything including a portrait project that he shared with the public at an exhibition two years ago. Third one of the very best post ever shared on the skip on university. Blog was kevin's three part series on how to put together your own exhibition. So there are so many of you over the years who've considered ways to show your work and kevin's post had just about all the answers so today we're gonna talk about finding balance between careers the importance of education diversity. In your skill set Doing your own exhibition may be and relationship. Building is going to jump in there. And who knows what else is gonna come up so buddy it is a kick to catch up to you today in cyberspace. Welcome to mind your own business. Wow skipped thank you for that fantastic introductions for kind of you. I'm really happy to be here. Shamir thank you very much for having me as well and Let's go out of business kevin. we have you. I'm glad you liked it because you did. Send me a check for much. Appreciate the secrets. Come out actually was the check. It was a bottle of wine. But that's true that's true but but that was before this came up so you know i didn't know it's time now. This is this is going to be a good one. Oh my goodness kevin. This is awesome looking at your work. It's inspiring and i'm excited to dive in dig deep into you and your business but first let's kick it off with our favorite first question. Tell us a bit about your background. I know skip went into it a little bit but give us that personal touch and tell us how you get started in. You know ended up doing what you're doing today. Thank you question I grew up in new york. And i'd always been interested in photography art museums etc but I kind of lost touch with photography. When i was in law school about halfway through my professional career. I was in a place where i was spending a lot of time in the tough neighborhoods and not seeing a lot of things that were priverty related to my work and i needed to get back into something to kind of fill my soul up again until i got back into landscape photography and so it started with going out to the ocean and shooting and being outside and seeing beautiful things to kind of supplement. No other things going on in my life bring some joy in the air and then Actually tried to turn a bad situation to a good one in the two thousand eight financial crisis. I started getting furloughed at my job. Has many of us got hit with that crisis and So i started turning my love of photography into into a business back them and have accents. Wow two thousand eight. That's an interesting time to get started. Yeah i guess looking back a lot of people say that's a terrible time to start your business but You know well who comes getting cut in one place. And i had this other interests that i love photography so you know let me give us a shot and So you know probably against what a lot of people would say business wise. I did it. And i you know started you know shooting and selling my images and you know making myself available to shoot which is for people and marketing and that's kind of how it started there. There's a great line that goes. I do it because i want to do it because i can. I do it because you told me i couldn't do it. And and that's kind of the way. I felt in two thousand nine when i left w ppi and started my own consulting company. I mean it's it's it's interesting because the last thing you're thinking about was got what a terrible time to start a new business right Yeah it's it's the best time and unnecessary time to start a new business. Kind of it's it's it's kind of a catch twenty two for people when they're trying to figure out what god. Why did he give that up. You know. I think if you're really passionate about something and you really love it then there's no bad time and there's always gonna be ways to do it and there's always gonna be ways to to move forward and get your name out there and and get work and if nothing else kind of like you know. It's almost like a big circle again with kobe this year. Obviously it's been incredibly tough all over the world and you could build up your skill set. You can do other things to prepare yourself to move forward. You know when the clouds kind of part and there's opportunities again so. I don't think there's any bad time to start itcher through passionate about it. No that's true all right so let's get right into one of the biggest topics challenges for so many photographers out today. And that's finding balance between your day job and your passion for photography and it's it's not unusual in fact my guess is that fifty percent of the industry are made up of part time photographers and i don't think that has changed in the last thirty or forty years. It's always been that way going back to the very early film days. There were so many part photographers out there. That were primarily came out of the educational world. And we're teachers because teachers were often the summer it was logical connection to photograph during wedding season and there were so many photographers out there that we're taking advantage of that time to create some additional income so the challenge today is just the same as it was. Then it's finding balance kevin..

"And you're listening to the whole show with my buddy brady whole a thirteen ten. Kfi so kevin lytle from the colorado and tweeted thirty four minutes ago. Carter say football coach. Steve adagio was on zoom. Press conference call talking about the upcoming. Unlv issue game when a report came that the game was cancelled so i think we can confirm that now. What ensued was a wild ten minutes or so as does process the potential change so again. I wasn't a part of this soon. Call so i wanna make sure we get kevin on the program five minutes after one and we'll we'll get the thoughts there. It's it's nuts man. Kevin posted the coach. Adagio was late to oppressor and said it was because he was on a call about the universe. Unlv issue game and said there are issues but said he hasn't been told it was canceled. What is what is going to happen here. Man in lytle also posted just realizing now that colorado state basketball plays at san diego state on december third and fifth and football's at san diego state on december fifth would be an awesome extended weekend trip for rams fans. If not four well you know. Two thousand twenty. Yes so again lyles. Processing a lot of information there will bring them on the second hour. I events text line. Three one nine nine six three one nine nine six great stuff from coach coach smiley. Excellent talk there. I can't imagine you know if you're a head coach preparing for your week and you keep seeing this football because basketball game for the most part starts up next week like they got their full schedule out and i'm going to go through that in the second hour. They don't start to the weekend after that. But if you're a basketball coach you got to be your nails a little bit here. You're looking around and all these football games left and right now. The beauty of basketball is. They have their little more flexible. You can. it's it's easier to put together a basketball game and change on a dime if you need to than it is a football game or shorter notice. I would imagine maybe maybe basketball coaches to tell you different but and also having so many different games. That's why coach smiley to more games left. I'm going to do this to them. Because i don't wanna put him on the spot. Do you think it's Do you think one of those non conference games is going to be the team up north gullfaks. Now we had. We had jeff lender on the program. The of course new wyoming head coach about two weeks ago. And didn't he say i wasn't really ready for that kind of be too too soon. But it's twenty twenty. So maybe maybe you find a way to get ready for that. Two cool vk texting in the pac twelve not allowing a non conference game to be played. This year i know but do they change that. Listen here's what we've learned this. Year guys is no matter what they say because according to the pac twelve my man basketball wasn't happening until next year football was done until next year right well. Last time i checked it's happening. Football's happening so things can change. Will this change the the the possibility of having a rocky mountain showdown. We're gonna find out second hour coming up next..

"Cross doing risk assessments on training services and we work with the. HDA as well as many resumes on our APPS. So, we to provide a support in knowledge to the aquatic industry. I was GONNA ask talk about Ventura Tests Kevin I know that we had a we just had a podcast a couple of weeks ago with Dan from American water and You Know Davis Big Fan of the bacteria test as far as you know, being able to test homeowners. Pool quality the things like that and I, know you're involved with that company as well. Can you just say a little bit about Withdrawal Dan? I'm Dan actually the world's aquatic kills conference and as a pass cool operator, I was really intrigued by the ability to actually do a bacteria. On we test for chlorine it's really a secondary test to. Date reads. Taking. Care of everything we assume if one part per million of chlorine remains than it's done all of its job to get to that point where. Residual and this is basically validated who actually knocked out the bacteria. Then this real benefit becomes into areas where chlorine is a standard. So there are no natural lagoons being developed around the United States a lot a big push for chlorine-free cools. We've talked about ozone AARP. Both of those I've seen on residential applications whether they only sanitize because you're such low use they can keep up with the demand. You're the need for the one part per million on public access facilities. And so. Then the question is, what are we testing to make sure cools clean for for user so with the bacteria tasked. This plan to hear my home hot tub as I plan to do different testing, it will be tested bacteria levels in our, we actually maintaining a sanitized level in the water. With this. With, ozone or not we don't have to zero arts related flooring. Test. And then. Is it something that you think a service could use you know like I was thinking Damon Dan about this about you know adding it as an added service for service guy a couple three times a year or seasonal or whatever it may be. An add onto the services provided. You know as a service company what do you think about? Over you know the YEP three, two, three, two, three times a year that you clean the filter you add as A. Bonus to it. Yeah absolutely, the test itself is just like any other tests you would do. So you're doing chlorine tests or key tasks onsite. You're you're used to using this equipment. In Colorado agents. There's one uses a exactly that uses an APP and as a digital photographer took readout. Very simple and I think it'd be great. Add on. One is to validate. Whether the chlorine sanitizing. You could do a before and after the soldier, she actually do a test now cool water but the water sitting in the filter and show before and after and I think if there's an opportunity to do a chlorine free application which a lot of homeowners are interested in this is the test you would need to do to make sure that systems or keeping up, and so it'd be really unique if you'd have a homeowner that's interested in that that you'd be the one providing tests. and. You get a test with this did did you intend? Didn't you find Well, you didn't finally did a test Legionella by you found that there's bacteria enough to where you went. You went ahead and took care of the problem assuming that it was going to. Detect something when you send it onto a lap. Right to where did finally. Out We did a case study with the company that developed And we did both the tests onsides you're saying, it's the FACTORIA tasks, basically low medium high low means. You're very good clean when we did the test in the pool, all the areas that had chlorine levels came in perfectly good level. Than medium means you're unlikely to have any type of. Bacteria growth, but you're certainly in an area should you know maybe look out consider where we found out in the ramp? Into the pool and again, you would expect that low turnover doesn't have foreign injection right near it. So it had some residual chlorine so it's probably safe. But an area to Wedeman we should look at and consider how we get some more water flow in there and then bad. You means that you're very likely to have some sort of bacteria grow gap. It tells you that within seven minutes. So. As as you were referencing, we did find a hot tub in a blower jets that hadn't hadn't been circulated for twenty four hours later came back and we we didn't know at that time whether it truly was contaminated or what with. But we also took that sample Senate off to the lab. So three weeks. Later, we learned that there was legionella in that. That's all blower jet about at seven minutes. After taking sample we knew we need to clean the hot tub. And that's the difference of this product is it's not gonNA specifically identify your target area, but it's a fraction of the cost an instantaneous tasks compared to lab testing, which has historical method. For Finding region now or other activities and you're not gonNA wait three weeks to get the test results to decide if you're gonNA. You're GONNA do some about right there and just to see them get something. Right exactly I was. On my reaction to the canvas, I looked at those allies we don't. Think we should just hotter anywhere. It. Brought out is I think one of the biggest dangers in a residential pool that nobody really thinks about pool smart combos may go months without people getting and using the spa, and that spot jet pump a lot of times it's a separate pump. Or even if it's If it's not you you. There's not enough circulation velocity through those lines to describe out. BIOFILM, so It's highly important to me yet program a time. Let those things run for ten or fifteen minutes a day and purge those lines and keep them clean It's something I've done on my Wall Street for years now and I, just because started seeing algae crud growing the Emily Boston like that can't be good. Yeah agreed it's just sit stagnant. So the other outside the cool we founded the hose bibs and Ariza's Adak shower and they just rarely got you. There for for weeks. And so this is that sit and make sure that that water keeps moving. The the other thing is when we start up new pools were they've been under control. A of a lot of the higher rules are built along with the House sometimes, it's two or three year project. The plumbing goes in the ground it's capped off in pressurized. And six two years and when you find reconnect Adam start, who'll is it's really horrible but comes out of there. and. So we enzyme startups with all of our bills, but I would love to be able to to have test like that to to know that the after the enzyme treatment and now that we've gotten everything at the Bulls when we When it's time to turn it over to the homeowner. I. Can.

"You <Speech_Male> select and how <Speech_Male> it's going to impact <Speech_Male> your operation <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> like or used to age. <Speech_Male> So <Silence> they're <Speech_Male> one of <Speech_Male> the things we talked about with <Speech_Male> commercial-size <Speech_Male> programming precedes <Speech_Male> design. And <Speech_Male> what we are talking about <Speech_Male> is the <Speech_Male> what you're going to do <Speech_Male> with the pool <Speech_Male> is how you should make juice. <Speech_Male> Asians more <Speech_Male> than the <Speech_Male> one-time built <Speech_Male> cost <Speech_Male> and in <Speech_Male> impacts <Silence> and so I <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> think that applies to the filter. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> how do you plan <Speech_Male> to service it <Silence> <SpeakerChange> who's gonna <Speech_Male> service it what <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> you know service is available <Speech_Male> in your area. <Speech_Male> Are there water <Speech_Male> restrictions, <Speech_Male> you know, <Speech_Male> you have to ask <Speech_Male> all those questions about <Speech_Male> how you're going to use this long-term <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> to make the right decision <Speech_Male> upfront. <Silence> <Speech_Male> Somebody <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> else's <Speech_Male> the budgeting <Speech_Male> decision upfront. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> A <Speech_Male> lot <Speech_Male> of times it <Speech_Male> there are <Speech_Male> supplemental systems <Speech_Male> those own a o <Speech_Male> u v <Silence> <Speech_Male> that are proposed <Speech_Male> and they get cut because <Speech_Male> of the initial <Speech_Male> cost but <Silence> <Speech_Male> for instance, <Speech_Male> I do a lot of work <Speech_Male> with AutoZone systems <Speech_Male> ozone <Speech_Male> systems are going <Speech_Male> to reduce <Speech_Male> the amount of chlorine <Speech_Male> you have to use <Silence> <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> because it takes care <Speech_Male> of the oxidizing <Speech_Male> part of <Speech_Male> it in the chlorine can <Speech_Male> can work on it <Speech_Male> being a residual <Speech_Male> and attack dog. <Speech_Male> Which gets introduced <Speech_Male> to the water <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> as <Speech_Male> it <Speech_Male> has people <Speech_Male> get in but <Silence> the <Speech_Male> other thing that it does <Speech_Male> by reducing the amount <Speech_Male> of chlorine <Speech_Male> that you add to the water <Speech_Male> off <Silence> every every <Speech_Male> form of foreign <Speech_Male> we use is a <Speech_Male> compound if you're <Speech_Male> not just adding chlorine <Speech_Male> you're adding salt <Speech_Male> and and <Speech_Male> if you're using liquid <Speech_Male> you use a calcium <Speech_Male> if it's cal-hypo <Speech_Male> you're adding cyanuric <Speech_Male> acid with a <Speech_Male> good types. <Silence> So <Speech_Male> all of your adding stuff <Speech_Male> that's going to build up <Speech_Male> in the water and <Speech_Male> and either cause you problems <Speech_Male> down the road or force <Speech_Male> you to <Speech_Male> drain the pool <Speech_Male> or or <Speech_Male> change the water <Speech_Male> more frequently. <Speech_Male> So there <Speech_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> there's a balance <Speech_Male> an economic <Speech_Male> benefit <Speech_Male> to savings, even <Speech_Male> though there's an <Speech_Male> initial cost to <Speech_Male> these these <Speech_Male> and the end <Speech_Male> what they do to <Speech_Male> the water in terms <Speech_Male> of proving the quality <Speech_Male> is yeah <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> it's worth <Silence> it. <Speech_Male> Yeah, I mean ozone <Speech_Male> Mao PUD. <Speech_Male> They all are great <Speech_Male> examples. They have a high upfront <Speech_Male> cost but almost no <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> cost on going <Speech_Male> right. I mean they <Speech_Male> are <Speech_Male> they're not only have to keep <Speech_Male> buying over and over <Speech_Male> again. And so <Speech_Male> I looked at once <Speech_Male> but you really look at <Speech_Male> a five-year tenure. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> You would have <Speech_Male> saved yourself a lot of money. <Silence> <Silence> <SpeakerChange> Yeah, <Speech_Male> they all do <Speech_Male> require <Speech_Male> a certain amount of annual <Speech_Male> maintenance ozone systems <Speech_Male> have to be <Speech_Male> rebuilt. Most of the <Speech_Male> systems have <Speech_Male> some sort of <Speech_Male> cartridge that has <Speech_Male> to be replaced <Speech_Male> UVB have to <Speech_Male> change the bulbs <Speech_Male> but even still <Speech_Male> <Silence> <SpeakerChange> I <Speech_Male> think <Speech_Male> the benefits <Speech_Music_Male> to the water and and <Speech_Male> the chemical savings. <Speech_Male> It's <Speech_Male> definitely worth looking <Silence> <SpeakerChange> at <Speech_Female> thanks so much Kevin. We <Speech_Female> appreciate have a wonderful <Speech_Female> day and stay safe in <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> Colorado and <Speech_Female> he's in Evergreen <Speech_Female> day, but I'll know if you've ever been to <Speech_Female> <SpeakerChange> Evergreen <Speech_Male> but it's beautiful. <Speech_Male> Right. Now <Speech_Male> I lived in Dillon <Speech_Music_Male> for a long time. <Speech_Music_Female> Oh, okay. Okay <Silence> might <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> be me. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Make sure <Speech_Music_Female> <Advertisement> <Speech_Female> you stay saying guys <Speech_Female> <Advertisement> will talk soon. <Speech_Female>

"And then we we've talked with James amburgey and he he's a big proponent of efficient filtration. You gotta get the stuff out of the water that reaction causes chloramines in the first place. So what are some things from the filtration side we could look at Yeah, so yeah, one of the things that I've looked at in the past is what I need to bring it up. Is As We filter like into a sand media. We're holding that whatever we capture that sand bed for six weeks days, you know maybe a month and it's going through that breakdown reaction process, you know, there's new filter media has things that you know can take that out quit work and Delta kind of fire particulate a very interesting one that I have a presentation on it I've done on cool Technologies is from The Fish Hatchery standpoint. So it's a drum filter change and and it's the idea is it stays hatcheries are disgusting and a filter with a clogged up very quickly. So this drug and filter filters through gravity as water goes through and every 15 minutes, it rotates and rinses itself off there for and and basically meant to get like skin cells and the big products pre pump and then it would still go through your normal filtration process easy. After but what it's doing is from a pool standpoint would immediately removed the skin before it has a chance to make it the main filter and be broken down by the chlorine and become chloramines. So that's you know, one way the idea is just that we can get things out quicker or filter more, you know, then we can change what we're doing a lot of times. We're still using sand filters, which is a technology that's been around for decades and decades. Yes. The filter itself has been around for decades, but there are some new media choices available. What are your thoughts on God? What's your favorite media for a sand filter? Well force and filter, I think one of the newest movies I've seen is the is Green Green Glass media. I have not tagged a lot of personal experience. But I've seen a lot of science and research done by and it's very fascinating that it still is doing the filtration process. But it also has I believe some kind of magnetic process that it's helping grab some Edition particulate. I can help do some breakdown in the filter as well. So I can my understanding is it's pretty much a comprable, you know swap out from a sand. I know there's also been a lot of studies. We just kind of blending media a sand filter. So like adding Pearl a layer of perlite on top so you get that extra filtration on the surface when you backwash that would obviously go out, but then you would just reload that small layer. That's that's great. Now.

"So the first thing there is also starting knowledge is the wage water chemistry and water balance, but also the the users and so educating users the shower before they get in don't pee before they get in also just you know, the the proper you may associated with uh, the cleaning side not just maintaining water chemistry, but just upkeep on freshwater and delusion. That's one thing off if there's anything good that might come out of this whole pandemic situation that we're having It's people are more concerned about or aware of spreading disease. Yeah, I'm thinking if you can get somebody to wear a mask. You probably got at least a better chance of getting the shower before they get in a pool. We might be able to just kind of piggyback off of this thing and start educating people that as pools open up as we start to use them again that may be changing their behavior in the pool will Will be beneficial what's interesting about that. We talked about European standards in Europe. They do treat the water like drinking water and pools. We're in the US which wage password. We think we get in it's going to clean us and in Europe, they want to be clean before they get right. And so what you're saying absolutely we can change the mindset that we need to be cleaned before getting in so we don't share diseases and spread that's going to solve a lot of the problems right off the bat. Yeah, and indoor air quality is a big deal. We've talked about this many times in the past Kevin, you know, a big commercial water parks and all that stuff. It seems like it's always a problem and the ventilation system or the air system they have that taken care of it is still an issue for a lot of places and I'm not sure we've we've we've capitalized or or figured out complete problem out. Have we I wouldn't say we figure it out and you're right now it's the all-hands-on-deck approach. So we start with the water we talked about the username. Can you talk about the air quality? We do know that the chloramines are heavier than air the writing low. And so we need to make sure we pulled them off and get them. So there's the you know new products that look at source capture them, you know do new hvhc design. We want to make sure those returns or are we really low that they're pulling that below are and when we we do that, we actually see a great job impacts the other part is that the amount of fresh air and you know, obviously more fresh air is better but it also costs more. So we're balancing Energy Efficiency with user comfort and air quality home. So if we have facilities that are bringing in a lot more fresh air, you can tell that the air quality is good, but the energy bill in that they may need to be in a climate that can support that..

"Let us know you know. Said Mr Guys. They don't WanNa talk to anybody you know what? We WanNA see the homeowner coming out wanted to have a conversation like. A. Lot of them are kind of introverts and they go in the backyard because they don't want to talk to anybody but you don't have to, and you can still maintain good communication by sending that notification now. You're at the like you said I have two great. It's a great way to. To provide good service does things brought rights documentation we we know if our risk management standpoint, that's the key right documentation documentation documentation. So it is the digital world. Job. Documenting. Using pictures which do a lot more in the next part of the communication is the transparency. And it's really being a very transparent up exactly what you're doing. Lenzi. Your records in real time. That's that bill communication and had. Any to do anything to. Automate. Yes absolutely, and you can tell that they're actually there's a time stamp. There's a time date stamp I to Right Kevin. So a lot of owners they like been out might pool doesn't look different I don't know but there's a time date stamp on there and and so you know they know exactly what you were there. "We provide. Support in knowledge to the aquatic industry. So a little bit about the APP that you have. Michelle was telling me about it. It's very intriguing. Yes, we have a suite of APPs what we call a Hydra apps they're all based and. Again depending on what type pool we have very different products. We have Sonatrach lifeguard certifications We have a new one that's actually a schedule manager part-time scheduling. But, the ones I want to talk about today out I think really. Really off a lot of different areas especially in the service side as our our pool tests out as well as our checklist which really GonNa weld together yes. I just talking generally the idea of using APPs everything we do today is not on our phone with for some reason in the pool world, we're not really engaged in a lot of the technology. And so and it brings a lot of benefits just looked at the tracking as well as reporting and also trouble-shooting we try to go back and figure out problems. So we talk about our pool test. APP. That's really just your chemical lock. But it's done in a digital version. So now you're you're still doing the test like you did before instead of writing it down on paper, putting it the APP. once it's into the APP because it's computer based, it now can alert you about weather something's out of range, and if that item is out of rage, it can then tell you how much too does that specific cool that you're looking at instantly there's no calculations as walls no errors. Every I quite Kelco to Kevin I. Don't know if you know what this but has like a reference you can click on the tells you what range it should be in a Yeah, we're looking at trying to empower the people on site, and so it gives those little alerts about your Westmont articles say if you find some sort of contamination, what does it say to to respond to that? How you clean services has that also has other documents uploaded Julia for reference to use specifically for specific side or service that you're doing. And the other one that. So is it did design I know mostly for commercials but could be used on on a residential route as well. The pull, the protesters is really straightforward documentation. So it's Very. customizable. So you would plug in what parameters testing. And as well as frequency of those tests whether you're doing multiple times a day or once a week. and. So it's absolutely buried customizable. You'll be set up that way. The nicer is also different INS, types we have administrative law. Gansu can do a lot of setup and then a service tack would have their log. INS News it and a homeowner can have their own modern just a few. There's specific account records. Screw you can attach photos and everything to Dame. See some issue you can attach a photo to it, and you can even the customer can be notified when she leaves the property and they could be set up on an email says say. There this is what I did. You know so that they don't they can't question what you did or didn't do. So, there's league the equipment powder of potential repair that needs to be made. You could use that to the customer. Yeah, so of using one of the other areas, the checklist and so. This is also very customizable. Service tax could set up a checklist of items go observe when they walk onto a site. So either checking the deck or checking scammers checking in the filter area and they check for compliance for saying yes. Yes. Yes. If non-complying area they can say, no, it'll pop up alert end they'll fill out the item. Once that that item going to show a picture. So yes, there's a leak right here in they can also. Send that to different people. So if they're gonNA take care of it, maybe sign a dude date of next week come on site next week in sickness or I need some back at base to be notified. So they can order part or notify the homeowner so that they can see that I found an item all of that happened in the emails. In the next part is really documenting that you did. Dixit. So yes, leaked then I came back I fixed it, and here's a picture. Now of Noli so the before and after it's all documented again, insulin signals records and you can find it later. As, well as homeowners long. Pleaded Multiple accompanied with multiple service technicians in the field. Could they use this to kind of track what their guys are doing what they're looking at in? customize a checklist is. The. The the average guy in the field is working for somebody. SCRUBS, Tile Nets, the bull vacuums checks the chemistry empties Olympics and blows goes but there are a lot of balls that require a lot more attention than that in there are things that need to be looked at. So so that would that work to be able to kind customize checklists for for the guys. Yeah, so each checklist is very customized in fact. We set up how many checklist basically naming it within. Once, that's done. The client administrator can add questions changed fashions setup who can see which checklists even let's say someone decides on vacation you can change the access for week Inigo back. We have some plies have fifteen different checklists and so they. Can sign who sees what checklists and even some people have read and write. Some people have read only on. So that's all set up in customization and really. You have as many users as you want it. and. Certain locations as well asserted checklist to most people. Grew. It sounds like it's. Very powerful. Tool and I love it too. Because like you said, if you have a service guy, the owner recovery who's dating back at the office and like Jerry Wallis attributed example up in Sacramento. He doesn't go out in the field more. He's sitting at his desk in an and I don't know what he does. I'm sure he does work but he's I think he's feeling his death and you know he's got thirty guys out. Feel. So they go out with the APP and take a thought they have to order equipment a pop comes back to. Him, he can actually or the equipment call distributor or the equivalent have ready in the guy can go back out like cameras at next week or whatever it is documented there I like that for it but even for a a single polar I feel like from a liability perspective, you know help sue happy everybody is in US anymore it's i. just feel like if you're not keeping good records, we talked about he'd be good financial records last couple of has been done but if you're not keeping good records on what you're doing at a pool. documented. Than I think it just set you up for liability in the future. Bad happens God forbid somewhere to drown or get sick or something like that. If you have documents showing that you have been about pool every week, you did every week or whatever I just think it's it's just doing good business because set you up for for being able to defend yourself if necessary. Really key to maintaining clients that you have in keeping happiest communicating with as a lot of times. The only communication you have as if there's a problem, but if you're able to send them a little taxpayer email. With the report of the services that was done on the oil until on a everything's great..

He's a great looking guy and everything healthy, very in shape. And I'm like I'm like in this photo you Greek God, I won't like it either. I liked his birthday show, you know, like it. But then, anyway, somebody's commenting. I bet Valentine's love in this photo. Somebody did? Yeah. Yeah, because I always joke around how he looks like a Greek god or whatever, so like that, Well, then, yesterday you were talking about your photo, which I still think was a great photo. Don't There's nothing wrong with that. To bring that photo of I went home to my wife and I go Hey, thanks for submitting that photo for the one of 43 mile from Instagram account and, you know, kind of like a weekend. Recap. Ah, well, you had to talk about it on the air something for that to happen. Does. Nobody was said anything about the moves. I, dad. Ah, the whatever you would you call him again. There's no point, though. No, but, you know, do you ever have one of those things where you're trying to tell something? Something about yourself physically, whatever. And you pointed out and the person goes. No, I don't see it. And you know we're all trying to be played to each other. And so we don't say we see it, but it's right there. You see it, It's right there. But I will say I have sickened by this with that photo. It just looks like you have very defined pecs like it's like a chess. It's just it doesn't look like moves. It looks just like pecks, right? Come on. There comes a point when somebody's trying to be so nice. You just have to call with carbon Stop. I like until doesn't sort of l have a huge pimple on my face or the terrible and she'll always pretends that I don't and I swear I just take it is the people I don't see it. Just go with. I understand that you're you're very smart. And thats right. So let me learn from you that respect. Sometimes you write you We only see things ourselves. Other people don't see. But when I pointed out to you, and it's so obvious, and you still go. I don't see it when you're talking about What? No, no, don't see it, then It's like, come on, and we know that. I mean, my wife is that way. You're being very sweet. They're wasted like that. But we know you see it. Yeah, but maybe it's not as bad as you think it is the pimple of Brian's forehead. "Right. So would Katie coming back after being of three weeks without probably even touching a basketball going against Kawai Lynn or maybe even the greet is going to be challenging? But I tell you what, man that, that was a beautiful that was beautiful basketball yesterday by Golden State from top to bottom and os role plus step. Never seen Steph play better. I've never seen. Draymond played better than they did last three games where you ever seen them to play like that. Katy on the court. Not happening. Come on come apart. I haven't seen. Okay. So what happened with Katie on the floor during the regular season six times at oracle, they lost my twenty plus points because there a little bit trouble because dream on and cabin got into it, and Draymond made it clear to him when they had their spat on the bench, we won without you right in Shannon pointed out earlier in the show. What was the flash point? What caused that little back and forth? What we've been seeing dream on gets the ball out of bounds. The Bush he just goes with it as z can push it up the floor and that ninety tried to do it and Kevin's like gimme the ball. No, no. I got this. I can dribble, it up the floor remember that and it caused their big clash does back in December. They lost they lost because it turned. Okay. Fine. Okay, what happened against the clippers in the first round this year. They're up thirty one at oracle and they blow the lead. Did that team last not looked like it could blow a thirty one point late? No looked like had overcome a thirty whip bluh, bluh bluh lead against the clippers. And guess I'm Kim into rent to nine okay so he wasn't. It wasn't like he was involved off Wenchang away. Okay. So he wasn't involved in way. Okay. And then guess what they call them out. Oh, Kevin Durant, Patrick Biblis into and would they go doing game threes. Roy them, and destroyed what I don't get up thirty one. He took nine they blow to lead. Well, he only took nine shot. Well, heeled ahead is when they got any what can I tell ya? It is okay. This, this do put in perspective that go to state has owned Portland over the okay plan against Milwaukee Milwaukee is number one in the league and defense. Right. Okay. So the second offense. Let's go be a different type of, you know, they was face. It's go be so you might need some ice. Oh ball. Because one thing about Milwaukee they have goes that could guard. Yeah. Yeah. And they have well, we know skip you and I, we've, we've said it, they're not better without Katie, their dif- different agree. You said the other day, they're harder to guard without K D, because the two guards are running around crazy on the perimeter and Kevin post on g hell no good. Well, too stiff is planning the MVP, right? In the conference final sweeping bones craze is on a street postseason game with at least thirty light skin. All right. Nine days game one time. Team that maybe might be going to the finals next year. Well talking about it can the Lakers, actually be a championship contender next season. Yes. Her usual. There was a ton of drama in Laker land yesterday. And remember the team hasn't made the playoffs since twenty thirteen but GM rob Pelinka is still optimistic about the future yesterday. He said this, I think people take a look at where this franchise is right now again, we have a great coach. We have a high draft pick. We have a great young core. Maybe one of the best in the league, we have a superstar on our team and an open slot. So I think people can look at this as an opportunity to win a championship possibly next year. Kendrick Perkins is still with us Burke. Is it crazy to think that the Lakers could win a title next year for up to say today, have a great coach? Part..
