"Out, and then you don't have to worry about the first thing that we started talking about. Yeah. That's a funny full circle. That's a funny experience because this weekend. I had a motorcycle, and it was very cold. Like if you ride in the morning, it's so cold. You're freezing, no matter what, like I have these big, thick leather gloves, all this stuff. And I was like, man, I know I'm near campgrounds. And I go to a campground. And they can't be closed. And the bathrooms would be closed. And so you're on a motorcycle. You can sneak it in there. You know, behind the scenes. You can sneak it in there 'cause it's so small, right? It's not wide. And you get to the campground bathroom, locked, and then I'd ride another 5 miles somewhere else and be like, oh man, I can just take a shit here. Locked. All of them were locked. So I don't know. Well, you could actually take some cordage and a toilet seat. And make yourself a little swing shitter. A swing ship. If I'm ever hiking in the remote Woods and there's just a toilet suite. Swinging from an Atwood rope. I know who did it. That would actually be pretty sweet, man. We should do that. You know, I went on a I don't want to take this. Wee. I really don't want to take this podcast and throw it in the toilet, right? I don't. But that's kind of where I was, I was hiking up somewhere or the other day. And I was having myself a good Kevin Kevin good time, right? And I swear to God, I don't want to I don't want to take this whole conversation and throw it in the shitter, but the first thing I thought was, I have taken so many craps in this section of the Woods. You've accounted for 40% of the mushrooms in that area. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I've been there. It's an area that I've hunted frequently. You know, and I've camped somewhere within about a half mile, and there's a lot of deadfall, and I was just kind of like, you know, I have crapped here so often. I mean, pause. Sorry. But we can actually do that. No. Yeah, yeah, this one going into. You could technically plan out the most beautiful thing. You could hunt early season archery. When it's wet in a good Colorado year. And you can mark where you shit.

"I'm watching this and we're really going to litigate the speaker issue when the democrats are literally destroying this country in the house of representatives done has more right now than any other body we have to take this guy on biden and the democrat you party have eight members including nancy mace who thinks mccarthy's too conservative you have eight eight members who joined a hacking jeffries who orders his democrats and they were right down the house mccarthy with eight members are going on we have three three trillion dollars yes we do and there's the biggest cut in my lifetime thirty percent being offered a thirty percent cut in domestic discretionary spending you've been there a while have you proposal ever had a like that before we've never had a proposal like this and and let me tell you i'm not saying this as an excuse but just to tell you how long our odds are up here we're in control of one half of one third of the government by a one percent majority and we have and been putting bills on the floor we have been passing bills i'd love to litigate some of the claims that were made paid and have been made publicly about this january deal because i was in the room helping uh that deal and let me tell you one thing that's not i didn't get a chance to say in my speech on the floor but i'd love to say it on your show there's supposedly this religion against any kind of continuing resolution whatsoever by the you know the rebels i use that term affectionately when i call somebody a rebel but in this case if they're not being very helpful i'm sorry i call them anarchists go right ahead well in january part of the deal with kevin mccarthy for him to become speaker was a cr at ninety eight percent if we didn't get the twelve bills done that was baked into the deal and so now they're acting like any kind of cr by the way the cr that he put on the floor was at ninety two percent you had eight percent cut across the board it was a thirty percent cut to everything but military but on average an percent eight cut and all he agreed to what he agreed to in january was a cr at ninety eight percent so he exceeded the january deal when he put that cr on the floor and there are people who said they voted against against it because they've got some religion against you know funding the government for little bit of time so we could finish our job and I also I want to remind your listeners that you know I'm not out in the news that much they may may not know who I am but I'm the guy who came to Washington D .C. during covid on March twenty seven twenty twenty and made all of these folks show up and vote on the cares act and they hated my gut that was two trillion dollars of Nancy Pelosi spending you were with me mark I remember it but the president called called me up and screamed at me that was President Trump yeah President Trump screamed at me said he would work against me he said I should be thrown out of the party for merely and I said absolutely not I support this man somebody's talking about the debt now let me ask you something congressman macy yeah did you have support from mack gates just yes yes or no no no I've never heard these guys talk about the debt passion before of you honestly I have no that's the that's the funny thing here by the way gates mack is a friend I have campaigned for him but I had support I don't want to single him out I had support from nobody I zero if I too much as went to the bathroom while I was sitting you know it left floor the to go to the bathroom nobody would take my position at the microphone to demand a recorded vote three years ago in the care that came up that's two trillion dollars and now they're saying they're vacating speaker over a hundred billion like where were you when there was a care that but anyway I was also co -author of the motion to vacate John Boehner the only member still serving who co sponsored and co -authored the motion to vacate John Boehner never voted for John Boehner never voted for Paul and and like yet I can tell you this motion to vacate speaker McCarthy is a horrible idea he he did something that Paul Ryan or John Boehner would never think to do he put three of us Chip Roy Ralph Norman and myself on the Rules Committee he gave us a blocking position on the committee that's known as the Speaker's Committee so that we could not just watch and make sure they weren't screwing the entire GOP conference by changing the rules but so that we could that steer committee and we have been on that committee we've made sure there are over 500 amendments that have gotten a vote since this summer on the appropriations bills and you can't tell me there's not regular order and he hasn't been trying to do 12 separate bills because I'm on the committee that brings all that stuff to the floor and just one final thought the people who wanted to vacate Kevin they're demanding two things that can't simultaneously be satisfied they're demanding regular order and an open transparent process while at the same time they want a predetermined outcome you can't guarantee both and Kevin Kevin never did and what you mean by that I want the public to understand is you can pass 12 appropriations bills tomorrow but they won't be what we want that's the problem you can pass whatever number 12 appropriations bill and have regular order but you can't as ensure congressman Massey is saying that they're going to do what you say they might do or they can't this is part of my problem I heard Gates up there and among other things he says well great it you guys passed the greatest border security bill in our history but the border I checked the Senate has to be involved the president has to be involved the House of Representatives isn't the parliament they they don't control everything is that correct that is correct and and what speaker McCarthy January's promised condition of becoming speaker was to try he never said he would force that he could make Joe Biden sign a law or that he could get Chuck Schumer to pass it he said he would try and I believe he has tried and on the debt limit deal which so many people are upset about I all the was in negotiations in January and speaker McCarthy promised a lot of things but I don't ever remember him promising anything in exchange for raising the debt limit and I and Chip Roy may but disagree I told my colleagues who were in that room I said I wish we'd thought to him get to promise us something in exchange for raising the debt limit but we didn't think to do that and so what you know one of the reasons they wanted to vacate him is they're still relitigating that in June which has a provision in there that may save our bacon I got in in that debt limit deal a 1 % automatic cut that triggers in January it's in in April if we haven't gotten 12 bills done now they'll move heaven and earth up here in the swamp to try and undo it but that's into signed law by Joe Biden a 1 % cut if we can't get out of our own way by January it's my understanding congressman that the vast majority I just looked at numbers the vast majority of freedom caucus which is the most conservative yes although vast majority voted voted against vacating the chair that is correct in fact the overwhelming majority voted against including Lauren Boebert including Scott Perry including Chip Roy including a Donald's Byron Donald's including Dan ball people including bog Paul Gosar Andy Harris Mary Miller Ralph Norman these aren't wimps these aren't rhinos and neocons are they they not are they're the most conservative members of Congress and and some I mean speaker McCarthy even put conservatives on the Appropriations Committee like they've got a chance not just to amend these on Rules Committee or on the floor but some of those conservatives have had a chance right there in the committees that are drafting the appropriations bills and they voted all of them speaker but mccarson the knife that was handed gates which he fought hardest for frankly because remember I this was the building of one single member of the house to move the vacate the chair and that's what he did in my view agree or not that's what he was always going to do because you know what he says today he's asked could he back scalise oh yes could he back emmer emmer's a liberal can he back emmer yes he says i can back anyone but just not mccarthy does that not tell you that it's pretty damn personal the reality is don't i think there is anybody up here in our entire conference who could could satisfy the demands that my friend matt gates has made on speaker mccarthy again like trying to say i want this outcome but i also want an open but then why is he willing support to all these other guys who are not even as conservative mccarthy quite frankly

"About being graded person As far as being there for the experiences i wouldn't. I would never look at a ring announcer and things like they did anything. Aside from the pocket schedule one. Paul i would never realize how involved they were and how much they saw at nuke firsthand That's why i just think it's cool to to put that in a book and just talk about what is like to be a little. Reagan is not a book about. I was are ringing. I'll try was good or bad. And i would say the following who's schuster story about Feeling that role but being wrestling bad and say okay that look cool cool waiting to get the door and then hopefully that that's awesome. Monday morning we're going to re recapping sunday action as we will all season so i don't know i think we're i think we're done ripping connor for the browns stuff. Reo what's going to be really interesting. Is what if the browns due in this. So this is. This is exactly what. I was just going to bring up. So i'm gonna have to do. The actual printed prediction is that they will lose to the packers in in the super bowl but now if they win the super bowl like it's just going to be so much worse and so theoretically i'm rooting for them to now. Not even make the super bowl To validate the prediction. Because now i just want it all to go away. I'm you know you on the controversy to be over. I'm like Did you ever see the. The stephen glass movie shattered glass. You know that one Haven't seen it. But i know it. The plagiarize guide the new republican like. Everything's his back's against the wall and he's just hoping the whole thing's going to go away like that's kind of kind of where i'm at now and so like maybe the browns. Just don't play this season. And then it just lets me off the hook for everything you know like like kevin kevin's defence. He's like we're just not gonna play in twenty twenty one focusing on any to and then i can then i then i just have another shot to get it right so all right. "There are definitely times just to play. Devil's advocate that management steps into what is a fairly simple situation and makes things way worse. Yes and now. It's like wait a minute. We were just having like a simple argument over here. Now you're stepping in and it's ten times bigger. Why don't you guys back off and not get involved that that happens in any kind of business. But that's when the two people could then say i don't want this i mean this is you have a once in a lifetime. Chance for a dynasty. Here you're going. To let steve kerr. And bob myers ruined this. That's where you go. Hey let's let. Hey you and me we need. Let's talk about this. I look. I'm going to take the heat. They can suspend me but when we come back. Let's be stronger than ever. I'm not going to let this break up our team instead. you're going. they screwed it up. I don't know i can't do anything about it. You guys screwed it up. I'm gonna guess though that. Is that really the players team. I mean but that's your friend that your team mate like you can make it better. They might have made it work. There are plenty of times at espn. Where management would do something say something and all it took with the two people involved in something to get over something that was really petty but when they bring you in separately and then when somebody's gonna get disciplined. Somebody's gonna get suspended and then it changes the relationship there but i think it's incumbent upon certainly. These guys are buddies. They recruited kevin durant. That's where you go. I can't let this. This can't break us up. So this moment here at broke up a dynasty. In retrospect see. That's what i would have said draymond green drain. Why didn't you guys fix it like you're blaming others. Are you taking any blame like fix it. It's just you and him you and katie. Fix it talk to him. And my bad. i overreacted. My bed to overreacted. management overreacted. Will move pass them. The one that stuck out for me draymond green with management. Said we want you to go. Apologize to kevin kevin draymond. Green apologize apologizes. Someone is not a problem. I don't mind politics but when you're told to apologize to someone and the other person's not being told to apologize for a mutual fight. It's like it's you're being devalued like a dream against pride. Probably thinking i was here for all the titles i was here. I and this guy comes in on politics in the new guy and he he wouldn't do it being told to apologize. Bothers people what it's in the moment you know gets heated. You say things. I mean teammates do this all the time. That their stuff that goes on their stuff. That's happened with great teams great players. That's never seen the light of day. Three stories that i have that i know of two that i witnessed and it didn't change the relationship with these players. On the team somehow someway they. They moved past it. But now it feels like katie is always the victim you would imagine. I think steve kerr's like this is my dynasty. Bob myers is like this is my dynasty. I this you guys are just players sort of like you mentioned..

"I just. I have specific points to drive the narrative. And then i basically like to let my players fill in flesh out. You know. I find if i'm to organized tend to railroad and if i if i don't have the but if i don't build the bones out of of the of the structure of the narrative It tends to go in circles. My players tend to tell to say. Oh we don't have enough information to go on. Unless i'm parsing out the narrative and i'm specifically making them go in circles to make them see things happening in the background like currently arc making guys go in circles. If you guys didn't go in circles you wouldn't have noticed the bakery being back and completely like nothing had ever happened it. Is this kind of a different question. That i didn't write down but one of those things. Dm like when you need to give your players insight and when you need just let them go in circles like where do you find that balance is a dm. It's it's it's sort of an intuitive thing. There's not really a way that you can say this it's And i say this with the with the utmost love for my players. And i it's gonna come across sounding derogatory but i really don't want it to. It's a lot like training a dog Where you kind of start to figure out what everybody's habits are and you start to figure out what works best with certain people in the way you say things in the way you do things and you know or better yet. Not training a dog. It's like getting into a relationship with somebody because that's really what you're doing with your pc's. I don't know let's ask. Let's ask kevin kevin loom could watching kevin anyway It's sorry guys. That's an inside joke with the playing games family here. Don't worry about it it's it's it's like it is. It's like getting in a relationship with somebody though you start to learn the what the likes and dislikes and how to talk to each other and how be able to infer what people's non verbal communication Is and stuff like that. So you can eat you know. It's just one of those things you got to learn to feel out as a dam. If he needs something to happen you just you do something that you don't want me to do. And then i'll. Oh if i if i to happen if i need something happen this sign. No i just handle i just dangle something in front of joe cy yeah like well so i i was gonna say that was the last question but i'm gonna ask this last question on the end and then we'll take a quick like five minute break so i this is like this is like the last session that we did word. Do we kept so long. So this will be the quake like going to be very hard to parse the twenty minutes. But i want to give like one piece of advice and this is kind of a question of adapted for manda one piece of advice for someone that is the emmy and so it can be any piece of advice. It doesn't have to be your best piece. it doesn't have to be all encompassing. It will start just based on something that you said john. Which is one of the best piece of advice that i ever saw was don't put necessary knowledge behind a skill check. So if there's something you need your players to know when you're having them role for their roles not going to determine if they find out just.

"And i knew the judgement wasn't right so i did appeal and then i won the appeal court. How many years did it take from. Start to finish starting your first lawsuit and then to your victory on your second one. How many years did that take Well two thousand and ten was as we talked about. And then i think the trial was in two thousand seventeen and then the film You know came out and at the end of the first cut of the film. It says i lost which is where things were at when the film came out. But then i went to the appeal court in one so a new cut of the film was released. That says in a groundbreaking decision the appeal court. Overturned the initial ruling in what year was at two thousand eighteen almost like almost like a thirteen fourteen year journey. Because you bought the painting in two thousand and five and then at twenty ten at the art show you pulled it down so then from twenty ten until twenty eighteen proximate. Yep you know eight year journey almost. Yeah and there's there's more perry know the the film was the catalyst for reopened investigation by the police and It's not the end of the story. Tell us more about that. Sure i was on tour. And i got a call from a detective and thunder bay and he told me that he'd heard about the movie and he needed to see it and so i had a copy of the film sent to him and shortly thereafter. They opened a an investigation into the whole fraud. Situation and I have been working with the police whenever they need me to and They can't tell me everything but there has been a lot of progress made. They've they've interviewed a lot of people and You can expect to hear more so what we've learned an i. I've watched a documentary and there are no fakes. And what you learned is that Yeah the fix nor the nora morsel. Fakes the original ones. Don't have the signature on the back you know. They don't have that signature on the back and correct the drawing of the thunderbird on the back. They don't have that on the back. The original ones they. The original no remorse does have the the celebrex right on the front which refer yawn the front in that refers to his name. Copper thunderbird correct so so anything with on the back. Red flags automatically come up. That comes out pretty clear in the in the documentary. Yeah and i think one of the the hopes for this Investigation and all of this is that we will eventually sort of clear some of this muddiness and really bring back nor vows legacy and protect it because he is such an important and great artist. Well that's really what it's all about. You know guys like in a closing line the documentary you just said i just wanted to buy a painting and because novell more so is one of our heroes. He was so gifted and so talented. So spiritual So where does this story. Now stand in terms of investigations and the legacy of nora more so from your perspective. Can you make some comments on that. Sure well where there is the art perspective. But there's also the The social perspective you know when we learn of news as we learned you know in the last few weeks about residential schools And they're what they're finding and when you look at what we looked at in the film where there's there's young men who are leaving their communities just to further their education and they're being preyed upon there's A real connection and it really illuminates that. These problems continue and man and in different ways and so i think as we all try to work towards Truth and reconciliation and that's hard work and it's going to take a long time and commitment that all of these stories are important and they need to be heard as difficult as they are and that is my hope that that continues and that friendships and teamwork that i felt with You know dallas thompson and and other indigenous friends that i made along the way can act as an example and and can continue in other ways. Well kevin you're gifted musician in an artist and songwriter. And i know my partner valerie. And i went up to old crow. Von tech witching territory for new years. And i realized there was a collaboration. Between you in val on a song you guys were writing. And what are your thoughts on the collaboration there before we get to the issue in question on hope can you. Can you share about the song that you're you're you're writing with vowel. She wrote the lyrics. It's a it's called feet like feathers and it's a beautiful poetic lyrics. we have done A little demo of it but it needs a bridge. And i've been waiting for the bridge for about a year okay. Well that's a work in progress listener. That's work in progress. So you guys can continue working on the bridge together. Moving from that. One kevin. I want to. I always ask my guests on the podcast because this is such a tremendous story you know and you're you indeed our hero to dallas as a hero. The documentary carman's a hero for having the strength and the courage to come forward with their truth in their story about this fraud. Ring regarding the fake morrisseau paintings. But you're you're you're a hero for standing up and not giving up to seek the truth because it's the spiritual truth in that way too and now in canada with residential schools in atlanta covert nineteen in all the challenges. We have in canada. What gives you hope what gives me hope while perry Bruce cockburn has a song called lovers in a dangerous time. And there's a lyric in that song. That was my motto through this whole story and it is. You've got to keep kicking the darkness until it bleeds daylight and i think with all the conversations happening and people standing up for each other more and more in our communities. I think that's what we're doing as individuals and together. We're kicking the darkness till it bleeds daylight. We just gotta keep doing it. And that gives me hope. And that's a very powerful message to end our dialogue on. Kevin kevin hearn. Thank you so much for your leadership and your commitment to seek truth and justice regarding the the fake fraud ring of the northern. "Back in november when we were here for an unprecedented masters tournament. One of the most noticeable differences was the lack of patrons it made for a very different tournament for the competitors. Here's bryce into shambo on what it was like playing with no patrons and his perspective on what to look forward to this week last year. It's masters dara's patron and it was pretty empty and quiet. How did you feel the fans are finally back to cheer for you here. Yeah i've already seen it in the practice round Yesterday i played nine with the all ian. Kevin kevin ollie Runner up in the us amador. And obviously kevin's a good friend and we had a fun time just messing around with the crowd. There was a moment on nine. Probably about a minute minute and a half. We were just joking around with the crowd. It's fun to be able to interact with the crowd and and get them going again. I think hearing those sounds you know whenever something somebody makes an eagle or amazing birdie or those sounds down by aiming corner and then you know buy fifteen sixteen are going to be pretty special here in that again. We haven't heard that in

"And Lake County, Indiana. Is that the fourth of July yet? No. I wish this should work. After Kevin most is the chief medical officer, Central DuPage Hospital. Doctor most good morning to you. This is the perfect morning for you to be here on the show with us today We're gonna talk about all things covert 19 and a second, But I don't know if you've been listening the one of our news writers back in the newsroom. Is about to have a baby and she was shoveling her driveway. This one, which I would argue. Maybe somebody else should have done that. But I'm told that I guess it's okay. But she was having contractions this morning. So we've put Andy and Schwann e and myself were on alert in case we have to deliver a baby here on the show today. You know how concerning that is to me? Did you notice the pause before? He answered? He called 911 real quick. Put it. Yeah, uh, shoveling Snow will certainly induce labor. So that's good. Congratulations survived and she hasn't chosen a name yet. It's a boy. Kevin is a great day. Your closest Connor. Okay. Kevin. Kevin's a good middle name. Middle name. Perfect. Kevin's a good Kevin's a good middle name. Is that? I mean, is that normal? She apparently that she's going to be inducing labor in a week. By the way, I asked her if it's okay if we talked about this today for those of you thinking I'm spilling her personal business. You know, without her permission, she said. It's fine if we talk about but is apparently they're going to induce labor a week from tomorrow, So it's normal for her to be having contractions right now. Sure they're going to do, Sir, You know, there's many reasons to do inductions of labor. Some of them are based on dates. Some of them are based on whether health related issues, But many people that are set up for an induction will actually deliver the week before because it's set by dates, and they just happen naturally go into into labor. So No big concern, and I'm not sure if it's our first. But like I said, congratulations, but 20. I still want you to be on alert, though. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Keep him on alert. It's funny 20 twenties in charge of us. We were looking at what you're supposed to do if someone goes in the labor at home. See, I'm wearing my mask. I'm ready to go. One step 11 of the things I said assess the situation. Schwahn. He's in charge of that call. 911 is number two, and he's in charge of that. And staying calm is number three. I'm in charge of that. That seems to release you all have your roles identified. I mean, I just kind of picture the Seinfeld with a fire in George Costanza running out over everybody, right? Right, Right. Get out of the way. Okay? Yeah, I'm picturing the Isle of the famous. I Love Lucy episode We're when she goes into labor. S O. Vaccines are, you know, probably the headline this week, right with covert 19 availability distribution off. Where are we with all of this right now? Yeah, it's certainly it's the frustration and I hate to tell people they're probably gonna be more frustrated over the next couple of weeks. We'll have to remember that you know, supply has certainly been nowhere near with demand is And as we gave those first shots for the past couple of weeks, we haven't seen the supplies go up. Someone has to understand the supply stays the same. We have people coming for their second shots. So therefore, if you don't have additional on top of what we were getting almost all of the vaccines that are allocated for this week and next week are for second shots, so we're not seeing a lot of new initial shots. While the governor has opened this upto one C starting in a week, and more people are gonna be frustrated looking for spots when we don't have those And how soon do you think we'll be able to fill that need? Well, I think two things want to think all the companies have said that production is definitely been ramping up and then to the other big thing is gonna be. What's the decision on Johnson and Johnson? I'm certainly Johnson and Johnson is making vaccine already and to be very interesting if they're approved whether it be end of next week or the week after how many doses they're ready to ship immediately, which will certainly be a relief in some parts, where we really see the demand outweigh supplied by Temple. Yeah, the question this morning coming in from Mark Relates to all of this first vaccine. Second vaccines Mark you're on WGN with Dr Kevin Most Hide After most, I have a two part question. If a person never has the second Daxing with the first one become totally useless eventually. The second question. Is it true that yellow mustard on the hot dogs could have to build my immunity? Wow. Um, let's take number two first. I have never heard that yellow mustard is bad for your immunity. So if it is, you're gonna have a lot of hot dog vendors in the city that are gonna be a little upset. So that one I can't tell you science behind it in Chicago. It would probably be catch up is bad for your immunity or screwed. That's true, right? Correct. But let's let's take the first serious question and ignore the second ridiculously correct. The first question is very serious because a lot of people are looking at that first vexing having a little bit of a side effect and say No. Do I really want to get the second? We know that you're going to get about some between 60 and 70% protection from the visor Madonna after the first vaccine that booster get you up to that 95 mark so you won't lose it, but you don't get the full of fact, unless you get the both shots within that time frame. All right. So that's the story on if you have had one and your second one is delayed what maybe happened, but go ahead. If it's delayed, you can still you know, the studies have shown that the delay can still go up to about 12 weeks and still, at the end of that time, you would still get the full 95%. That's the argument that they're using in Europe is trying to go broadly based as many as they can initial and push those second shots back to three months from now, when we expect to have plenty of supply. We here have not agreed to that doctor found She has been very stones about saying Hey, let's follow the science. Let's use the vaccines in the appropriate way and we will get enough supply. Can't tell you the number of texts that we have right now. That are in one way or another, asking the question. I have not been able to get a vaccine. I've tried every link possible. Any suggestions? People want to know what's what should I do? Don't I get my name on a list someplace? Yeah. What I'm telling people get your name on every list possible, so every county should have their own. If you go on the county Web site, Regardless what county you should be able to get on the list there your doctor's office. If they're using my chart in the epic, they're probably gonna put you on the list there. And then also just looking at the Walgreens and the CBS is which will now beginning doses from the federal government, not the state, so you will start to see those as well. But I'll tell you the number of people and like I said as the governor went to groups, one C, which is everyone over the age of 16 and under 64 with co morbidity ease. Now we're going to see so many more people looking in the supply over the next couple weeks is not going to be there for initial doses. So I sent a lot of frustration coming here since 3129817 200. If you've got a question for Dr Kevin most You can text or call 3129817 200..

"Radio 1000. Katie, Okay. With everything that has been going on. I had a chance to speak to Governor Kevin Stitt. So he's joining us now. NewsRadio 1000. Katie. Okay, We've not only got a legislative session coming up, and I wanted to get an update on the Corona virus And with the pulling of the permit of the Keystone Pipeline, Governor, will that affect the oil industry here in Oklahoma? We have pipelines down Tonto down to the coast. But it is it is very disturbed. Disappointing. I mean, we're the pipeline capital world. We have a lot of companies that specialized in that We have some of the lowest utility costs in the country. And so it's disappointing. We know that The transportation of oil and natural gas pipelines of the safest way to move it versus on trucks. And so it's just it's just a political move. And it's disappointing. Very disappointing, at least to me, Kevin Kevin States with this governor, What are you looking forward to in the coming session? I know there's been a bevy of bills that have been filed. Well, we're gonna can first off. The session starts on February 1st, and we're really excited, Tomo to get going. We've done a lot of pre work. I've been meeting with the leadership in the House and the Senate to come up with the people's agenda. And were excited about it. But we're gonna continue to push for Oklahoma to be a top 10 state. We've got some education reforms a planned um, obviously, business recruitment is something I always focus on. And I believe Oklahoma, uh, is primed and ready to have a really gross in business recruitment. Are our Commerce Department pipelines never been bigger. Companies from better They're currently sitting in certain states that enclosed all of 2020, and they're just getting so frustrated with the overreach of government. Forcing them to close and I just appreciate Oklahoma's business friendly open for business atmosphere, and we're getting great. Great. Great. Um, you know, contact with some of those industries. I had a question on this program yesterday Governor regarding some of the recent squelching of social media when it comes to certain voices, and, for instance, North Dakota seems to be taking an action. I don't know what action Oklahoma could take, if any, any any ideas about that. You know, I don't know specifically what you're talking about there, But we believe in, uh, free speech and the fact that people are being squelched on Social media's eyes disappointing. Far as Corona virus is concerned. What do you look to see out of the legislative session? Well, you know, first off. I wanted to kind of give everybody an update on vaccinations. We're currently done. 258,000 vaccines have been administered in the state of Oklahoma just since mid mid December. It's really amazing and we ranked according to the CDC. In the top 10 of all 50 states and vaccines administer per capita, So I'm proud of the team that we put together. As far as case counts are concerned. We've dropped. 56% sent January. 13. Wow, we're currently at around 2700 per day on a seven day averages where we're sitting right now and January 13th. It was 4200 day, so We're starting to see those that curve come down. We think the vaccines are are helping. We also track and bodies and antibodies in the state of Oklahoma are up to around 36% on what? We're what we're saying so Those those are some, You know, positive things and we're hopefully we're at the beginning of the end on on on covert as we as we started to slow down, those is an excellent numbers. I have not looked at a lot of the numbers to tell you the truth. Governor. I like a lot of people were tired to see him every day every single day, but it's nice to see those numbers. Absolutely. Yeah, in constable is ations were down to around 1530 statewide, They peeked over 1700 so Those have also come down. But, yeah, I mean, the media tries to spend every single thing and say that it's getting worse. Getting worse getting worse. I've been on covert meetings every single day since March. We track this were in constant contact with the hospitals. And we're seeing hospitalizations come down cases come down and people are are generally doing a good job in the state of Oklahoma along I go that I was recently over in Arkansas with apologies to Arkansas, but they were asking us. Hey, how are you guys administering the vaccine, and I told him and they were like, Wow, we can't. Our health department's not handling any of it. We have to go down to the pharmacy and make up Make an appointment. So kudos to our health department for forgetting these vaccines out. Yeah, we We've really, You know, we've been on top of that. I have some of the national guard helping. We actually pulled vaccines from the CVS and Walgreens, who had a federal contract to administer. We grabbed around 10,000 vaccines from them. Get him out to our veterans centers quickly because it was gonna be like another three weeks before they could get around to. It s oh, really proud of the team and how we handle that Governor Kevin States with us getting ready for the legislative session, which begins on the first any other legislation or things? You want to talk? Tough to hit on while we have the short time this morning. Well again, You know, regulatory reform is something I continue to push. We've got way too many regulations in Oklahoma compared to other states. Occupational licensing reform is something that we're gonna we're gonna hit on. We've already talked about education. I think the funding formula. Um it's disappointing. Um, but we've got to get our kids back in school and some of the schools there. Shut down. It's just It's just embarrassing. And here in Oklahoma City, I know they're starting to come back. Which I applaud him for because Mork, Edmund Norman Yukon Mustang Guthrie hair, all the other surrounding areas from Oakland City have been open. All the private schools are open. And it's just been disappointing that Oklahoma City wasn't hasn't been opened. But now they're they're finally finally starting to prioritize kids. Well, Governor, Kev instead. Thanks for joining us this morning, and maybe we'll be talking again throughout the legislative session when we see what makes it to the various houses and what they vote.

"What did he do? From the Associated Press. Are you ready for this one Ready? As they witness President Joe Biden take the oath of office on Wednesday. House majority with Jim Clyburn said former Republican President George W. Bush lauded him is a savior, helping get by an elected. Well, you know how these establishment guys are. You love the bushes. Don't look at me. Well, I mean, I can like them as like a family and disagree with them. Clyburn, on a call with reporters, said Bush told him quote. You know you're the savior because of you and not nominated Biden. We would not be having this transfer of power today. He added. The Bush said he was the only Democratic candidate he felt could have defeated Trump. Wow. So there you go. Rob Kendall's right again my least favorite part of the show. But wait, What were you right about exactly just that He's awful. But the bushes are just complete pieces of crap who care more about power who care then they do the country. I mean, now now Bush's spokesman trying to come and go. You guys are making too big a deal on it. He was just saying that Biden wouldn't wouldn't have won that election when the won the primary without him. A bull craft I call complete bull crap. He meant every word of that I am certain because Bush admitted that he chose none of the above. In 2016. It's not like they those people are the Bush is certainly the Clintons. Huge wing of reports of the establishment wing of the Indian Republican Party. They're just fine with Biden being it or not, the Indian, the National Republican Party. They're just fine with Biden being in there that this is this is it must be because they think that Biden is actually going to lead which is really Wrong? No, I think they're fine because it's back to business as usual, which means hand in the cookie jar and they get all the access and make all the money right When they're this isn't about the country, it's about them. Buzzers back. Good talk. Do you have a joke? Did you hear about the burglar who fell into the concrete mixer? No, He's a hardened criminal. Now it's a good one. That's the, uh that's a good one. So having update on the ghost in my house? Oh, yeah, I remember that. Yeah. The other day The spam goes. Yes. I told the story the other day that I had this can of spam, Which is what you put on the Oh, cam, you and Pam, not Spanish, Pam. What you put on the cooking the cooking spray? Yes. And it magically fell off the shelf and into the sink. And then, as a result, the woman associate became completely convinced the house is haunted, and she fills my head with all this stuff. And what if it's a bad ghost from good and then she just goes right to bed. Okay, Now I'm locked up all night sleeping with the lights on to defend the house. Well, my dad, we talked about this on the air the other day and within a minute. My dad is flooding me with text messages in all caps. You don't have a ghost. I have the answer. Call me a seriously Get off the air as the answer. He proceeded to go three. Ever seen the movie JFK? Oliver Stone? Yeah, We're Kevin Kevin Cosner, and he's doing this. Dramatic court room breakdown of the magic bullet back and tend to the left. Yes, Dad. Proceed to go on this 30 minute. Kevin Costner asked. Breakdown of how this can of Pam got off the shelf. And into the sink wasn't a mouse. He claims now This is fascinating. And my dad was a faint trained federal investigator. So he's not one to jump to conclusions that the space of the span the Pam Gets like the there's grease left on it when you touch it after you use it right, And the show was a roller shelf, and he does that mean a roller shower was it was like individual metal bars. They're not. It wasn't like one solid shelf there. Three It's a shelf, but they're three individual metal bars that make up a shelf, and he claims that the grease on the pan that when there's any sort of vibration, it will move forward. That we hadn't noticed it and move forward to the point where it finally fell off the shelf. But what what was causing the vibration? Well, it's none of your business. I still think you have mice. I think there's a ghost, but Oh, my God, I love your dad's explanation. Oh, he broke it down. There was Scientific evidence could've been episode of forensic files from the Daily Mail. This is a shocking story. Now you remember that many people believe that if Biden was elected that all the violence would stop? Yeah, well, because I mean, it's really just white supremacists that air the raging lunatic violence creators and we tried it because I saw these people on social media people who I knew didn't believe with Biden stuff, but whether it was white guilt or stupidity or whatever. They generally believed that That if we just put a Democrat it was all about Trump. And if if we just got rid of Trump would all stop you ready for this jelly ready from the daily mail? Aunt Eva Rioters smashed windows of Portland's Democrat Party headquarters, burned US flags in Denver and vandalize storefronts in Seattle. Just hours after Joe Biden was sworn in. I don't understand. What are you saying? Why would Antifa be mad at Joe Biden? All the stuff they claimed the trump people we're going to do. They did it. That's so weird. It's so weird that they are just horrible, violent thugs who mean to cause mayhem and destruction. And it has absolutely nothing to do with anything except that they're psycho in Portland. One of the signs read. We don't want Biden. We want revenge. Oh, my God. So there's gonna be. I mean, this is not gonna end And the key will be how do the local leaders handle it? Because I can tell you right now that if they learned anything from the summer, they should have learned that just arresting these people, throwing him up behind bars and then immediately bailing them out is not effective. Kamila Harris will raise their bail money They need to be locked away. For a long time. A really long time. This is such a monumental day, one of the speakers told the crowd in Portland. Because today is the day we dump Trump, but we need to embrace resistance to the fight is just beginning. Wow. All right. Good luck with that. Biden's I hate to sound like a broken record. But I I really don't know how to feel about this because I was so right. Wait what? You were so right. This isn't ever going to stop. Oh, yeah. No, it's not. And these stupid idiot. Suburban People. Felt that if they just did this is by being told every evidence to the contrary telling them no and be told No, but people like us. They get it anyway. And now you've just made it worse. Yeah. Now, let's work made it worse. And you know what they're going to do next? I mean, because you know, one of the thing one of the things that Joe Biden did on day one was decided I'm going to just have, like a moratorium on deportations. So now we're gonna have this giant care of, and people were just gonna let him right in. And then we're gonna have all of these people who cannot make a living because the economy is in shambles, and it's going to get worse under Biden and the crazy ideas he's got with $15 minimum wage and so on. It's gonna get worse. People are going to be poverty stricken. They're going to get angry and then you know what angry people do. They get together with other angry people, and they cause a lot of this mayhem. That's what's gonna happen. That's what we all get to look forward to. Don't blame me. I voted for Jordan's. You did not well, some sad news for us Well, good news because it wasn't Jason Hammer but from the Indy star. One winning ticket was sold Wednesday for the Powerball drawing Nord for the Powerball drawing worth $731.1 million or a cash value of 546.8 million. Wow. So somebody wanted somebody if they take the cash payout, 1 $546.8 million last night. That is amazing. Do we know anything about that person? The winning ticket was purchased in Maryland. One ticket matched all five white ball numbers with the power play, which was also sold in Maryland and is worth $2 million. So somebody won 56 546.8 million and another person $12 million, So those people are also going to be ridiculously belligerent and awful people. I mean, I hope I just hope hope hope that it was somebody worthy a total of 12. Other tickets matched all five white ball numbers and are worth $1 million. Those tickets were sold in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey and Oregon. So luckily no one we know what do you mean? Luckily, well, we don't have to deal with them. Yeah, it's true. Like sudden millionaires, man. They're the worst of it. Is it bad that I saw this story when I had opened my phone this morning to get news stories for the speed round and saw that there was a winning when winning Powerball ticket?.

"I'm really coming in the great American, the effort of some on the left, especially CNN and MSNBC, the mainstream media and newspapers. It's just smear those of us who voted for the Trumpster the last two times to make sure that in 2024 should arise again that our votes will not be there because we've been canceled. Either by tech giants by your employer by not getting alone by losing your job, and one of the most disgusting things happen a few nights ago when don lemon of CNN Said. If you voted for Donald Trump you back to clan and the Nazis. Quote. If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who was the clan supported candidate. You voted for the person who's not who Nazi support. You voted for the person who is all right supports. That's the crowd you in. You voted for the person who incited a crowd to go to the capital. Potentially take the lives of lawmakers Take the lives of police officers take the lives of innocent people there on the capital that day you vote over that side, Quote unquote. Nobody wants to be aligned with the Nazis and with the Ku Klux Klan with those who kill cops, it's a typical smear. Arguments used by the left to keep those of us who care about conservatism still in the political agenda, But a man that has perspective on this is so much more. His website is the course of the black sphere dot Net blacks fair dot net, which have had him on frequently because he speaks so loud and forthrightly about issues that confront the American people. And once again, my friend and yours, Kevin Jackson, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show and Kevin Kevin Jackson. How are you? How you doing? Kevin, How are you? Good Bill. Let's talk about your website, which I look at about three times a day. The effort of the left now is to convince those who voted for Trump that you're racist and that your Nazis when in reality, we want freedom. We went entrepreneurism You want to Southern border? We like conservative judges in taxes. Well, and your mind. What is CNN trying to do to those of us 75 million who voted for the president? They have to demoralize you. They have they have to crunch crush you to dust. I say they're like hyenas that leave nothing of a carcass, and so they do it first by destroying Trump. Get him off social media. They tell anybody that if you voted for Trump, you're all these different things. You're racist. You're homophobia cure. Islamophobic. You're Xena Phobic. You're all these phobias. Nothing. There's nothing that different about what they said in 2016, except they pretend that they want and so with 75 80 million people who actually did vote for Trump. They want you to believe that they got a mandate with Biden, who we all know could never have the level of popularity of of Barack Obama in 2000 and eight but they want you to believe that he does and that they've got this mandate. And so you now know how bad it is because even Joe Biden was able to be Trump so you gotta pay. And and there should be nothing left of you. So the biggest a double standard. Pelosi, it's called, said that the election of 2016 was Fraudulent. They didn't kick her off Donald Trump, or we say it. They put a warning or they dismissed. They dismisses they purchased and but they have to make you believe that you've done something bad. And oh, by the way, you're also radical terrorists who stormed the capital building because if I can make you into a terrorist, I contend that I have permission to demonize you and what's happening for the inaugural on Wednesdays. Really incredible to watch. Now, having not reacted to the capital appropriately because the head of the Capitol police, didn't she Hey, went to Nancy Pelosi. He wants Secretary of Army that there was a complete object. Failure of security. Now they've gone one direction. Now they're going the opposite direction, shutting it down 24,000 soldiers. They have 7 ft High non climber. Double fences. They have barbed wire everywhere, and they got soldiers marching around like it's El Salvador, having failed on one level. Now we're going the opposite level and we don't need that. I can't conceive of that being needed come Wednesday. Of course not, And they didn't fail on any level. They knew exactly. They knew a million people were going to come to D. C to support Trump. They put a handful of plants in there. They disrupted the capital. They then made blame the trump people and now knowing that nobody gives a crap about Joe Biden. Let me put it to you this way. Bill Joe Biden were 100%. Clear, but nobody was gonna bother him. He wouldn't get 10,000 people to show up to that to that inauguration, and they know it. They have to pretend the narrative is that we are so vile. Such despicable creatures that they have to put 24,000 people in D C with all the things that you just describe, because who knows what these trump people are going to do You know what we're gonna do? We're gonna We're gonna back up. We're gonna watch exactly what they've done. We're gonna back out of their social media platforms and watch the market cap of Facebook. "The recipient of not one but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill Cunningham. I'm really coming in the great American. The effort of some on the left, especially CNN and MSNBC. The mainstream media newspapers is just smear those of us who voted for the Trumpster the last two times to make sure That in 2024 should arise again that our votes will not be there because we've been canceled either by tech giants by your employer by not getting alone by losing your job. And one of the most disgusting things happen a few nights ago. When don lemon of CNN said If you voted for Donald Trump you back the clan and the Nazis. Quote. If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who was the clan supported candidate. You voted for the person who's not who Nazi support. You voted for the person who is all right supports. That's the crowd you in. You voted for the person who incited a crowd to go to the capital. Potentially take the lives of lawmakers Take the lives of police officers take the lives of innocent people there on the capital that day you vote on that side, Quote unquote. Nobody wants to be aligned with the Nazis. And what the Ku Klux Klan with those who kill cops. It's a typical smear. Arguments used by the left to keep those of us who care about conservatism still in the political agenda, But a man that has perspective on this and so much more. Yeah. Kevin, How are you gonna bill? Nothing. There's nothing That's different about what they said in 2016, Except they pretend that they want And so with 75 80 million people who actually did vote for Trump. They want you to believe that they got a mandate with Biden, who we all know could never have the level of popularity of of Barack Obama in 2000 and eight but they want you to believe that he does and that they've got this mandate. And so you now know how bad it is. Because even Joe Biden was able to be Trump. So you gotta pay and there should be nothing left of you. So the bigger the double standard. Pelosi. It's called, said that the election of 2016 was Fraudulent. They didn't kick her off Donald Trump, or we say it. They put a warning or they dismissed. They dismisses they purchased and but they have to make you believe that you've done something bad. And oh, by the way, you're also radical terrorists who stormed the capital building because if I can make you into a terrorist, I contend that I have permission to demonize you. And what's happening for the inaugural on Wednesday is really incredible to watch. Now, having not reacted to the capital appropriately because the head of the Capitol police, didn't she Hey, went to Nancy Pelosi. "What will i do about distraction. I was listening to you. Bill gates tool king in one of his netflix as a few like last year or something and he said when he was through crisis it was the first time in his life because he was having to being in front of congress and he was having to talk about anti-competition laws and things like that and it was an intense period of his life because he didn't know what his business would survive and it was all he knew so it was intense and he said for the first time in my life. I sort Distraction while. I was stunned by this because i thought wow. He has never actively sought distraction and yet daily in my life. I seek distraction from my phone from tv from whatever else i'll usually take it and so you have to ask ourselves what relationship distraction and how to be limited because this will determine how successful we are okay. So how do you plan for distraction. How do you plan for discomfort. An side. I love this quote. I have a court. I've a very good quarter. It's from kevin hart and he. He talks about mental strength. He said recognizing feelings of discomfort as your body's response to challenges that you must lean towards you have to love that feeling of discomfort is what he says and i think that's inspiring so when we plan. Let's plan to be more uncomfortable. And let's climb to be less distracted. And i think the reason why this is so important is because kevin kevin hart in in all his infinite wisdom says behind that discomfort lies your treasure and so we plan and we have a standing of discomfort. We're gonna feel and we have sorted dining of how it can stop us from being distracted. Eight everything on the to do list suddenly starts to happen at because what stops. It is destruction and discomfort Trying to get away from discomfort so now that we have that sorted then what oh wait let me tell you a little story about this comfort and planning so one of the things is a lot of people have problems taking actions you taking action on the gulf. I have the opposite problem. I take action on everything and the problem. As i have a lot of things that i saw unfinished and say this year as this year. That's just gone one of my priorities. Twenty twenty one of my priorities walls. Michelle how do you actually grow. How do you grow as a person had you grow as a business. You grow in your relationships and i realized it was one of the fundamental key piece missing that's organization see for me. I've never been one person to right to do. Lists or to you know. Have my calendar in place. Because for me feels like a straitjacket. Every time i see meetings meetings a in my diary i feel constrained but if it's just a free that hey can i cool. I enjoy a little bit more. But i realize if i'm going to scale my business if i'm going to grow as a person i really need to become more organized and by that i mean every part of my day has a an activity ever looked at time old fire. It can't feel uncomfortable for me. The level of productivity has increased.

Why Having a Business Mentor is Essential to Success

"Today. I have two guests. My guests are kevin harrington and mark tim as an original shark on the hit. Tv show shark tank. The creator of the infomercial. Pioneer of the as seen on tv and co founding board member of the entrepreneurs organization. Kevin harrington has pushed past all the questions and excuses to repeatedly enjoy a hundred times success his legendary work behind the scenes of business ventures has produced well over five billion dollars global sales launch of more than five hundred products. And the making of dozens of millionare's twenty of his companies have each top two hundred million dollars in revenue. Martyrdom has been a serial entrepreneur an exponential thinking practitioner for almost three decades. He started more than a dozen companies. Several of which have multiplied imminent sold. They are the co authors of the great book mentor to millions. Thanks so much for joining me today. guys be here. Thank you a great to be here. Awesome so mark. I am going to start with you and ask you to share selvi. Would you think are important lessons that you learned from heaven in your mentor mentor relationship. Well kevin Kevin was kind of the dream. Mentor for me. You know he was he. He became my guide in my own. Entrepreneurial endeavors i had had a successful business multiple businesses. But i kept topping out at a certain level and when i looked at kevin as a shark you know i'm like he's taken over. Twenty businesses dobra hundred million dollars. He could really help me to scale and so to be candid. I had to give the best pitch. This guy's heard over fifty thousand pitches. And so i went to kevin and said hey look i know your time is valuable. I know that You've got a lot of wisdom you could share for me so if you would be my mentor. I'm gonna make this easy for you. And i'm going to become your student. And that was a pitch that he hadn't heard before thankfully and he said yes and so he became my guide in my entrepreneurial pursuits. I learned you know. Probably the two biggest things i learned was about following the eyeballs. He calls a aggressive curiosity at the short hand for that is follow the eyeballs. Where are people looking. The chances of success in business and scaling is if your business in the path of where people are looking in. So i started putting more my efforts behind commerce because as you can tell right now. We're shopping from home. That's herat and so it was perfect. Timing for me to invest in that category. Because wow my business this year. I can tell you that i'm actually on my way to my first one hundred million dollar business because of my mentorship with kevin and then he also taught me a concept about the dream team and the dream team. Here's here's the mistake. I was making and by the way so is ninety. Nine point nine percent of everybody in their business. I had this crazy notion that i was hiring people i could afford and you know. And that sounds so intuitive. And that's what we normally do. When we're growing our business. But kevin has this concept called the dream team where he told me i would rather have ten percent of the time of a cfo that could take me a hundred million dollars than one hundred ten percent of the time of a cfo. That wouldn't get passed a million and that's the concept of who you can afford often caps you out and taps you out versus putting a dream team in place sometimes which you don't even have to pay them if you incentivize them the right way but if you put a dream team in place that can take you where you need to go than likely. You're going to get there. And so i would say aggressive curiosity dream team to the biggest lessons i learned from kevin but most of all i took what i learned from kevin. I started applying it to home. I started treating family like the most valuable business in the world. And i found out that aggressive curiosity works at home and my ultimate jer. Green team is my family at home. And i started seeing results. That are beyond anything i could ever imagine at home. And that's when we wrote the book mentor to millions. That was one of the commitments. We made we teach all the lessons. That kevin taught me but we try to end every chapter with how you can take that lesson home to your most valuable business and bring them your best and your first instead of your last in your least oh my goodness i just love that and i have to say that i love this concept of aggressive curiosity because i am all about Well you may notice that. The end i remind people to stay curious because it is so key and i love this dream team concept i get that so many people hire who they think they can afford and they miss out on who they need to get their business where they want to go so kevin. I'm assuming that you think every business owner should have a mentor. Is that a fair assumption. Absolutely i believe let's put it this way if you're a startup entrepreneur or startup business owner. You don't know what's coming up. Kobe through a lot of wrenches in a lot of businesses for many that were some of the most successful business owners were were were. It was like pulling the rug out from under them right. This is is business life. It were were throwing curveballs every single day. A thirty years ago one day my my bank shut down my merchant account and grabbed two million dollars out of my account. And i didn't know what to do. Well i got some mentors. That helped me through that. And and because i was never a finance guy and so people have different strengths and and entrepreneurs though tend to a lot of a lot of entrepreneurs her soul entrepreneurs they take pride in being the the entrepreneur to do it themselves to be their own boss. What they don't realize is that you know when they were inside that corporation with that big structure and all those people you know there was other people that were doing the things that maybe they weren't good at and so now that they're responsible for all parts of the business. It's now time to make sure that you've got the right support team as mark and i call it the dream team to help you succeed in that and a dream team can be one or two or three or some grouping of mentors and coaches that you can bring together so i think everybody needs one

Open source developer and Gitcoin creator Kevin Owocki discusses modern fundraising

"To jump right into it in the world, of Crypto, currency money is important depending on your view bitcoin itself is or aspires to be money in a very real way and without question, the craziest time Crypto have surrounded or even just been entirely about fundraising for projects. This has always been positive though in the later stages of the initial coin offering praise it seemed like raising money became the point rather than what it was being raised to accomplish in its aftermath. It's become increasingly obvious that what's being funded matters at least as much as how you get the funding but how you get the funding is important to. A couple of weeks ago Andrey's, and I were talking about an open source project. He'd actually used get coin to fund is, can you tell that story can here? Yeah absolutely. You know every now and then I come across an idea or find a gap in the court system where I think it would be really useful if we had a software gizmo to do X. Y. or Z. and even though I can code myself I don't have the time to embark on these little projects. So as I've done in the past I looks for way to funded developer to do this work and this time I decided to use bitcoin I've been Aware of it and looked at it in the past. But now I had a real project to sink my teeth in. So the projects was to develop a plug in or changing the wizard of the electron import in order to enable it to discover derivation paths, and I'm no monnet craze that has been used in a different wallet where the user doesn't know what the derivation path is and keeps having difficulty recovering funds. This is a problem, a lot of newbies have. And so I put up a he basically and a bounty is a pot of money in this case denominated in the stable coin die so that it's the equivalent value and I put up a one thousand dollar bounty for about forty to sixty hours of work approximately I estimated to develop this capability I wrote a specification as a get hub issue and the I thing. About Bitcoin is that it integrates directly into get hub. So I could take the issue where described the desired feature in detail and then attached the bounty directly to that, and then have developers come and pitch to take on that bounty and executed. It was completed a couple of weeks ago paid out and it's a feature that's being merged into hopefully the next version of Elektra. Now, that tool that you had created actually you and I had a little back and forth about it because turns out that you don't necessarily a Newbie to run into the problems that you were trying to solve their and we actually wound up using it to solve a big problem. I've been working on for a couple of months, but that's going to be another episode. Entirely, today we're talking with Kevin Kevin, can you just kind of take us through the basics of bitcoin was kind of the goal and how is it operating? Let's just start off with the most basic question for people who aren't familiar with the project. Is there a bitcoin or is this something that builds using as Andrea saying die or other types of Tokens as a reward? Yet, that's a great place to start. There is no bitcoin token bitcoin is a place where you can get coins. If you're a software developer in exchange for doing software development tasks, we have unfortunately from a branding perspective gotten swept up with a lot of the projects. Did do ICO's IOS in two thousand seventeen even though we never did in Seo. So. Take us back to the beginning kind of what was the thinking about this project in general what was the problem that you were trying to solve, and then how did you end up solving? So I've been working in web startups for the last thirteen years pretty much ever since I graduated from school and every software project that I've ever worked on has been an open source software projects. So whenever I start a new start up I will use python, which is an open source programming language. I will use an open source database server, I will use an open. Source Web server, and so every time I've built a start up all the stuff that you see in tech crunch are standing on the shoulders of giants of open source software and basically every time I've built a software startup I've been using open source software and open source software crates, billions of dollars of value for the world, but there's good way for software developers to monetize. The work that they do in open source software, and so that was sort of founding reason why I created Bitcoin, which is a double sided market connect software developers to the people want to fund their work in open source software in the sort of insight is that now using the blockchain space, we now have billions of dollars of capital that's going to open source software. Whereas before in the old financial system, all of the money that goes into it goes to some back office on wall. Street. So what if we could build a marketplace where the software developers they can sort of be the routing mechanism for the money going to software developers and have it the blockchain native project? That's what get coin is and that was the genesis of Bitcoin.

Hashing It Out - Ava Labs Kevin and Stephen

"I'm a first differentiates itself with its consensus protocol. Which I know you've talked about a lot before Previous episodes of this but I'll I'll give a very brief overview of essentially. It's a highly scalable both in throughput and also the latency and the number of participants The can participate in consensus. So the first kind of main idea that that started album was the concert. Now since then we've also branched out into this idea of sub nets relate heterogeneous or a heterogeneous network. So that allows us to Kind of scale not just like on like consensus speed sides but also allows people to develop their own personalized Network so for example. We we are able to port the EDM so easily because we can essentially just have a wrapper around an existing EDM implementation and then use avalanche consensus with that and so we can court in two Gecko in relatively easy manner with how we structured sub nets and so that lets people not just You know have very fast infrastructure but also very flexible one so someone could implement their own. Virtual machine has an arbitrary business logic. That's specific to them and so Say so those are those are the two technical side And then I think Kevin can talk a lot more about like the business on how we're kind of it chained to to meet unique in that aspect but I think From the architecture side where we're kind of pushing towards like You know very very flexible infrastructure both on the consensus and the engine side for Kevin. Kevin I WANNA I wanNA trend reiterate something that's I think is incredibly important about The what office doing That is it's a it's a market distinction between consensus and the underlying data or mach- machine. Stay right most open networks right now those things are intrinsically married like like the consensus for lives state and the changes nate whereas Aga An it's different. Nation is consistent his own thing and then you can have other like a bunch of different machines rely on. That's exactly yeah that's basically exactly right. It's program ability not just at the application layer which is what other smart contract platforms delighted to already It's also program ability At layers below that the network stack wind data stacks which is an important property allows some interesting things that are very difficult from for for others One of the most important things that we want to make sure is that we build a smart contract platform that capitalizes on the value of the applications built on top This is something that for example doesn't do I can if I issue a let me let me call a low velocity a high longevity type of assets. Something like You know Real Estate Orlando something like that That on a theorem Looks no different than forgive nommik laser here but the any regular should coin It accumulates the same fees. It does not. It is not guaranteed to be different from any other Coined the does may be has no value whatsoever to it and we're trying to capitalize on this problem in a way that provides a that gives the issue of assets in creators smart contracts on our platform the ability to effectively divide the the the guarantees a little bit more at a higher. Gherardi or Logan. Larry Rather It's it's about you know giving somebody that is issuing these applications that or the asked us that have very high longevity needs and high security needs It gives them the ability to pay much much. Larger fees to be stored for very long period of time and be very secure. Burst something that. Maybe he's just not very high value and needs may be much higher speed and much lower fees so this is something that we allow. That theory doesn't quite allow and and is actually goes down to the to the token design as well so in fury on the the problem is it does not You know if I issue a new token Or if I build a ruler. Successful application of the theory Yeah fees are paid in East which is great but down to the minors and nobody else benefits from the fact that there is usage off of these Of this of this token on the system It's actually It's actually quite a big problem for theory. I mean you have so much value being built on a theory that bitcoin could never could ever dream off right now and none of it is really being capitalized at the value that it should be capitalized by the by the underlying token Our design has been more of the not the designer. We've taken is more of the the one that says. This is a cap supply token like bitcoin. And whenever you do operations that require things like creating new blockchain's and paying for transaction fees and so on they burn off the tokens and the burning Obama tokens alternately creates scarcity novel and so that capitalizes on the underlying On the underlying token of the of system. So that's an in a different designed from How a theory has done this But I mean this more foam I would say peripheral property The first goal that we want achieve is really in the ability to effectively labrum ability at the at the network data layer which is very very important because it allows a lot of flexibility on how you can design your your economics for your smart contract. It's like effectively. You know smart contract level charting almost if you want to think of it that way. Maybe that's not quite super correct. But it's the best knowledge that I can possibly come up with in one sentence and And that's just not the case for any other platform the whoops there okay So Steven you mentioned these subjects that have has right. How do those are? Would you compare those those akin to para chains or something like Sharpton East to a so with the St Louis? Model that you mentioned. How does that compare to something like East? Who which has the goal of being more stateless. Yes so I think the biggest difference the tweet our model and something more similar to their model is that offer us are. Our sub nets are heterogeneous which means that they aren't necessarily running these same The same the Amer the same the same Guess scheme if you're preparing database land So east to at least you know. Correct I'm wrong but Each to is planning on the chief being scale ability on the same kind of network with the same security guarantees in the same network guarantees across all of its shards. So what that means is that essentially. They're trying to paralyse computation and increase their throughput by adding nodes not need to validate the entire the entire state And so that's that's very useful in some cases however what's typically pretty difficult. When there's a lot of cross shark communication which on blockchain it then becomes very important of how you're you're splitting things into shards and so from from our point of view you know you're GonNa have something like you know the die chain or the Guy I G- CHARD. Where ever wants to be on the Diet Chart because everyone of us die and so all of a sudden anyone that isn't on the die charred is going to have to be communicating with the DIA- Chard Which is relatively expensive in most Charlotte Systems However with us Our viewpoint sub nets is that some nets are heterogeneous and so they may contain their own environment so for example B. Edm would live in its own sub met and would have surprise like Is a is Senate that were planning on doing which is a soon of Eutherian state. So so that's That's like the big difference really so we have something that's based off of the functionality. Rather than you know just splitting the entire state. So that's like the main

Jonas Brothers Share What They've Been Up To In Quarantine

"We say good morning to the Jonas brothers. Good Morning Guys. Welcome to earning. So can we. Where are we right? Now I'm in. I'm in a basement in New Jersey. Where Joe where are you? I'm in my office in L. A. and La Los Angeles and Are you in La as well? I'm also La just hanging out me and my dogs this morning. Kevin and I'm not in the basement in Jersey but I am in Jersey. You're in my state. Come on over. We'll distance sounds good. So here's here's something I find fascinating about you guys ever since you decided to come back and give this another world. You've been nonstop. I mean I don't it from our perspective. It seems like you never stop. It's like every day. You have a new announcement there. A new announcement tomorrow. I mean but because of the way we're living our lives these days. I'm assuming you're almost forced to slow down a little bit. Aren't you or. You're still chugging away just as fast as always it's been surprisingly busy. I mean on on top of Releasing Xm Five more minutes today and kind of the gear up for that We all stay pretty busy with their own own. Things I've been doing. The voice live shows remote from home which has been very unique. And you know had to sort of spend most of my my time outside of brothers stuff doing that. Kevin's been you know. Homeschooling is kids. And yes. That's the only new thing and then going. How's that working for you It's good. I just can't believe in kindergarten. They're doing like like light Algebra like I. Just don't get it. You know like she's like I was just helping her ready for this call with some of her schoolwork and she's like Dad. I have to solve for x and you help me figure out which one this is came today. That's the sole for ex- ex- exactly nice. I feel like we all think we're smart until it's time to help your children with homework and like wait a second. I'M REALLY NOT THAT SMART. Exactly was this is kindergarten. So I'm really concerned about what the future holds. This is why I stopped at a Schnauzer. Brilliant as is GonNa be in my house Schnauzer. He speaks German and Joe. I was watching a cup of Joe on Qube. That looks like a dry. A dream job to me being able to these these cities. You've always been too but you never got to see them now. You get to explore them with interesting people exactly a for years we would travel and go to these different cities and we'd see the hotel or just the venues we started going. Stir crazy thinking what would it be like if I had a six hours to explore with interesting people and we really tried to get some interesting talented to join us and then Matthew mcconnahey was was number one he started us off so I was like well? You set the bar. I once I ran out of gas. I used Kevin Neck which was great. I'll convenience being show convene you WANNA come so so being being musicians which is part of what you are being How does this all change for you? You're still making music but it's all I'm assuming it. The rules are thrown out the door. I mean it's a whole new way of of existing and creating right definitely definitely different. Get all go ahead. This is the hardest part about these calls. You never know. Speak kind of adapting to what this life is like for all of us right now. I'm making the most of it. Obviously music keeps US motivated and inspired so we tried to have little recording writing setups in in individual spaces. So I've been able to do songwriting from afar. And sometimes you go. Why haven't we done this all this time? Bagley you'll have our space but I think it's it's going to be really exciting. We can get a in a room with a bunch of people again and Wrightson songs right now. Have you seen each other in masks yet because I find that? It's the most bizarre thing to see a loved one in a mask who the nothing your naked. I? We haven't actually I have. I've seen Kevin on his way. You know he's running errands and we've facetime. We're both mass together. So it's just a bizarre world we're living in But at the same time when you're still producing music you're still doing the things you love. You'd have to do differently but you you. You make sacrifices in you come out with like what we're doing today so you decided to release what we call it a bundle it's called X. or fire go. No because there's there's an ex and there's five more minutes so well. Today's the fifteenth. So we thought we'd get creative. Okay tricking we've asked him. I didn't even put the two together. So I'm with YOU ELVIS. Good so we're GONNA play X or five minutes or so. I play both. What should we do? Here I've been played both say yes probably the time we've ever released time top five okay. We'll do it. I'M GONNA blame now in that order accident in five minutes in next time. Let's get together in the same room. Let's say some better timing. What are you do? I think this is great. I love the fact that I can be in my basement and talk to the Jonas brothers. Oh by the way announcement I dunno I think Kevin knows but I have three huge Koi in my house and Santa Fe and there yesterday enjoy Jonas brother a scavenger now and they have they have little fish now. They're they're they're having families. How Kevin Kevin in Nick? Fish all did each other well. I don't know I don't know how to tell left tail and how it works but it congratulates the three of you. Have you have little fish in my fish? I wanted to say thanks the enjoyment.

New York: Judge dismisses ex-Knicks star Oakley's lawsuit against Dolan, MSG over ejection from game

"This has been being talked about by all the NBA people. So I didn't want it to be spoiled for all right so this is a genuine reaction. I have no idea where you say. So what is the episode? That set you off where you're no longer going to attend games at masters locally being dragged by his pants or whatever out of the arena. Okay so after. That is out there and did nothing. So after that Charles Oakley Sue James Dolan Square Garden a civil lawsuit well today that lawsuit was dismissed by Manhattan federal judge so Oakley sued MSG for defamation assault false imprisonment and other and other things related to this twenty seventeen incident. He claimed in his suit. He was being unfairly targeted for making jabs at Dole. And who's also in attendance? And then they also claimed that oh he was drunk and belligerent. So this got thrown out. The judge sided with Dolan and Madison Square Garden. Saying Oakley failed to make a plausible legal argument to support these claims Madison Square Garden. James Dolan released a statement all no. We thanked the court for its ruling. This was an incident that no one was happy about. Maybe now there can be peace. Maybe be peace between us. What an olive branch. What an olive branch now. Maybe that you sued me. And there's no legal standing in I guess any New York Law Federal Law. Whatever law there might be that. There is no legal standing of an argument that I should win this case because James Dolan is a complete a whole. That's not that's not a legal a valid legal perch from which to sue someone so now maybe there can be peace between us. Oh my gosh. Is there nobody in Madison Square Garden? That could tell this man what to say. Is there nobody? I mean there has to be because he's the one that went to the Michael Caine interview years ago. Would that that said the binder that said talking points right. Yeah so. The man is open to receiving talking points. How can somebody say? Hey Mr Dolan if you don't mind taking off that scarf it's it's ridiculous and the Fidora Dora. If you don't mind makes you get just put away all of your materials getting set to open up for the mighty mighty Boston's what are the eagles. It's just eagles by the way. And and and if you say this there is a large portion of your Fan Base. That does feel that. Charles Oakley had a point. If you say that now there could be. Maybe peace between us that you're offering of an olive branch is his loss in court. Meaning you're the aggrieved party. Not Him. This might make things a little bit worse for this part of the fan base. That loves Charles. There's no is there. Nobody in that building that can look him in the face. And say you're paying me to say this to you even say that so. You don't feel whatever Rath that might rain upon you from a mercurial boss Kevin Kevin was the security Kevin can say it. Kevin Spacey Releases Super Creepy Christmas Video... Again

"Not Christmas. If Kevin Spacey doesn't release a truly bone own chilling and completely unhinged video of himself as his character from house of cards. Frank Underwood right I don't know if you remember but last year on Christmas Eve. He released one of these videos where he kind of hinted at his sexual assault allegations as his character. Frank Underwood well. He's done it again. This year you one year after the last video came out. I'm just GONNA play the beginning of the clip right here. You didn't really think I was going to miss the opportunity. I need to wish you a merry Christmas. Did you been a pretty good year. And I'm grateful to have my health back and light okay. I won't play the whole thing for you. mm-hmm but what's up with him talking about his health. He's was he sick or something this year. The ads pretty unclear what he's referring to when it comes to his health. I did a quick Google and no one on seems to really know but maybe he was secretly sick or something anyway. CNN summed up the bizarre Christmas Eve video. which is uploaded to YouTube? And it's called A K T W K killing them with kindness is what that stands for Anyway CNN wrote quote. Kevin Spacey has released a Second House. Have Cards inspired holiday video featuring himself in front of a fireplace talking about being under attack. His message follows last year's Christmas Eve. Address which socks spacey seemingly defending himself against sexual misconduct allegations. The three minute video racked up four point five million views in twenty four hours with this year's message posted by the actor again has him slipping into the voice of his former net flicks character frank underwood while speaking to the camera and quote the IT creepiest and scariest part of the video is definitely the end. You know what I'm just GONNA. I'll play that for you right now. You can go on the attack but you can also hold your fire and do the unexpected. You can kill them with kindness. Uh Anyway Yeah. That's the video it's terrifying He's like poking a fire. He's sitting in front of a fireplace. Stoking a fire throughout the whole thing terrifying truly scary killing them with kindness. I don't no no I mean is that a threat or or something. I don't know bone chilling especially considering a man who accused him of sexual assault died by suicide the following doing day after the video was posted. The accusers name was Ari Ben. He was a Norwegian author. A family spokesperson for Ari Ben Gear Haakon Sund said in the statement quote. It is with great sadness in our hearts that we the very closest relatives of Ari ben must announce that he took his own life. Today we ask for respect for our privacy you see in the time to come and quote the wildest part of all of this is that Ari ben's death isn't exactly an isolated incident and I say that because he's not the only only one of Kevin Spacey's victims accusers or whistle blowers to die variety. Covered this writing quote. Ben Is the Third Kevin Spacey Accuser to Die Hey this year following whistleblower Linda Kogen and the anonymous massage therapist who accused spacey of sexual assault in an October. Two Thousand Sixteen session and end quote. Obviously a lot of people were drawing a line between Kevin Spacey and these really alarming deaths twitter user at Patrick Blanchfield wrote quote. Big Shout brought to everyone else who would absolutely say we need to talk about Kevin Spacey. Maybe murdering people but is concerned about maybe getting murdered by Kevin Spacey. Just saying if this were a Kevin Spacey Movie. You'd be alone in a dark library reviewing these headlines in a microfilm station. And then Kevin Spacey would appear from behind and just Gaito so you just saying just saying than that. Twitter user posted screen shots of headlines that read quote Kevin Spacey Accuser Found Dead after being struck by vehicle and massage therapist therapist. Who accused Kevin Spacey of Groping? Dies and Kevin Spacey Says Kill Them with kindness in another Christmas Eve video. And lastly the headline about Kevin Spacey Accuser Ari. Bending twitter user at Fussy Baby Bitch wrote quote. Remember when Kevin Spacey had his accuser killed on Christmas like he released a video about it and everything. I know that was like today but I've started processing slash digesting this stuff in like minutes. It so out in the open now and quote they followed it up with another another tweet. That just said Plainly Kevin Spacey. Please don't have me guild okay. One last week this is from stand up. Comedian Tim. J Dillon who wrote quote. Kevin Spacey was cozy with the the political establishment is entirely possible slash bordering on probable that people with an interest in him. Not Seeing justice are ensuring that by getting rid of his accusers accusers. He wasn't a garden variety. Sex criminal he was slash is probably an asset and quote. The Mary Sue wrote about the endless discourse on Kevin Kevin Spacey Conspiracy Theories saying quote. It's also important to consider that. The experience of being sexually assaulted can have serious mental health repercussions not not to mention the kind of negative attention that can come with accusing a well known person of misconduct. But the instant me MRT and conspiracy theory ramp-up. Bob Is unsurprising in the year. Twenty nineteen the Year of Jeffrey Epstein. Didn't kill himself and a general feeling of the elite buying their way out of repercussions for their actions and quote. Whatever is true? This whole thing is incredibly dark. Incredibly sad totally totally messed up. And even if I'm being charitable and taking everything at Face Value Kevin Spacey is at the very least a truly incomprehensibly weird and messed I stap dude.

Critics’ Choice: ‘The Irishman,’ ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Lead Movie Nominations

"Two hours talk to Kevin car this morning good morning Kevin Kevin Kerr our entertainment guy who has the the nominations out today from the critics choice association the CC a it's the twenty fifth time you guys have done this and I guess that you have you must have voted for some of these nominations right good morning Michael yeah I'm actually pretty happy with how the nominations have come out we've got them ready for the critics choice awards which happens on Sunday January twelfth at seven PM on the C. W. and this is it's it's what's leading the list is the Irishman with fourteen nominations which is of course marks were Stacey's latest almost Robert deniro Al Pacino Joe Pesci all getting nominations for acting others also once upon a time in Hollywood Quinn turned taking those look back at that what could happen in the sixties start with twelve nominations along with little women getting nine nominations nineteen seventeen which is Sam Mendes's the upcoming World War one epic I am a marriage story with eight Jo Jo rabbit the joker in Paris like each get seven so it's been spread around for the nominations it looks like there's a lot of great movies on Netflix yes speaking of spreading things around you got a couple of actors you're getting nominations both for movie and for television work which I think is interesting well yeah you got Laura Dern whose whose you guys having a bit of a resurgence in her career she's got both for big little lies a marriage story the critics choice nominations include both television and movies and another big win is is for streaming not only is that happening with of course big nominations for Netflix of Amazon it on the chart television side but the Irishman is is that a huge win for Netflix getting that many nominations I think there are almost thirty this twenty nine nominations for Netflix alone with you in the film categories did speaking of the Irishman so we mentioned Dinero Ficino Joe Pesci from that for Best Actor Pacino at and I guess Joe Pesci best Supporting Actor in it's a very different performers from him it's not the over the top crazy guy very restrained in and is that what it took to get him out of retirement well I think working with Martin Scorsese again was a big deal working with Robert De Niro yeah but it did give them the opportunity because they do a de aging process digitally so this movie is also getting visual effects awards but that gives a batch you chance to play a very different character which is I think what got him such traction this time around I think the biggest problem he's got is he a member of the channel might split the vote for fans of the Irish men and might end up going to somebody else yeah well merit story you know coming in with a lot of nominations and including I guess a screen plays as well so I I I I know I've heard that this is a real predictor for the Oscars how is that does that real yeah I mean it's nothing thirty six actually we got the golden globe nominations showing up later today which are also seen as somewhat of a projector the reason this one China other critics choice awards a lines a little bit more is because they don't split out drama versus comments on are you voted for the nominations do you also vote for the final

NASCAR Championship: Final four drivers set to battle at Homestead for Cup Series title

"Conversation so so is in your eyes and you guys. Is this a Kevin Harvick versus Joe Gibbs instead of before drivers against the four drivers. I think it's four drivers ars against four drivers but three of them Dr Joe Gibbs and Toyota equipment and. I think that you're not going to just shut the lights. which on or off? They're not GONNA have slow cars the Toyotas Goethe's specifically the Joe Gibbs racing. Toyotas have been the fastest all year long. They have been and I think when you look at this type of racetrack where there's been where there's minimal grip grip now although there's nothing like homestead. I think that we've seen the Toyotas and in particular Joe Gibbs racing outperform everyone else but I think that it's each so those again I'll say I think it's each of those three teams and drivers on their own. So it's basically four drivers in four teams against each other. You know I agree but the one thing I will say. Say That low grip. That's Kevin Harvick. That's his wheelhouse. I mean you think about it. Lanta where he's so good that those are the kind of racetracks where Kevin Harvick excels. We just came from a racetrack like that. Lie detector puts Jonas Brothers on the spot during 'Carpool Karaoke'

"Jonas brothers wrapped up their four night. Stand on James corden on the late show last night. Whoever was in charge of their wardrobe. I really it was so disturbing us night neck. In a blue crushed velvet vest in pants shades of the nineties. Joe is in a double breasted, look, look like a woman's Armani suit. But it didn't have it was like a wrap around suit with the button far over on one side only at one button. It looked like a also sounds very kind of an eighties low Laura you've never seen this before. I don't know what it was. But it was a pale pink Unsan. He's got thick thighs that one Joe. Yeah, he does. And Kevin Kevin is always dressed like a sports player something he's normal looking dresses normal looking but Joe's jacket and Knicks crushed velvet name like what is going on around here. They were darling. No in carpool karaoke. Yes, they talked about their purity rings. And so one of the things that they said is I really kind of enjoyed their carpool karaoke driving around with James corden, they had. I see what you mean about their outfits when they performed sucker. That's what we posted. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. My were Kevin is just like a jock and Joe is dress. Yeah. Lincoln Italian shoe salesman. Shoes. Yes. Hard done being county spent all the money and now he's selling shoes in Joe. What is Joe Joe is the one what is Nick? Is a blueberry. He's trying to Iraq. He's trying to channel his inner Mick Jagger. And all that crushed velvet. How are you is? It's a funny lock. It was a funny look, but so they were talking about their purity rings. And Joe is saying, you know, we grew up in a church. That's hurry. Sang gab is a pastor minister. I can't remember which one and we all had these rings. You know, we got him when we were twelve and we were never gonna talk about them. And then he said and then brighter. We were fifteen and stuff, and we're kinda just part of image out. And then a reporter said what are these rings? Are you guys in a cult? And he said, no, this is just you know, when it came out. I know they said there period while they did call that debt. And then they just thought when they started having the raging hormones. They thought AMIS doesn't work. But there may had I detector in the car with them, a gentleman who would hook them up to a band and James corden would ask him a question. Yeah. So he asked neck. Neck who's the best singer in the do? You think you're the best singer in the band, and he said, no. And the guy says you lying, and then Nick did you have too many, weddings? And he said, yes. And he said, you're telling the truth, and then so it was kind of cute. Didn't make 'cause it was very long. But. They look like they're having fun performing sucker and the crowded, and you know, that's kind of a fun. We liked that. They're doing this documentary that they're gonna make for a year, you know. But it was they're very they're really likeable guys. They

Ellen Degeneres grills Mark Wahlberg with drivers text questions

"Can we talk about Mark Wahlberg? Absolutely. Yep. When we first started having him on the show ten years ago. Yes. You know, he's like a cool guy, and and sort of a tough guy and never really wanted to like compromise. This is my assessment of. Okay, compromise that that image of himself, and he still really like cool and works out every day, and is super fit and all the rest, but like he's able to let his guard down a little bit and absolutely loves zone. Yes. I think. Yeah. I think he softened a little bit and get has really nice guy. Yeah. And he has a daughter. Kevin Kevin can say objectively one of his children is about ready to take those driver's test yet. So he's going to teach her to drive because he he thinks he's the best driver in Los Angeles in the United States. Right. So Ellen gave him some questions from the California driver's Ed test. So your daughter's fifteen yes, she's is she taking the driver's license tests. She hasn't yet. She wants to start driving. I thought would be a great idea to take her here and let her drive a golf cart around start with a golf cart on the law, right safe. And then I'm like, I got to teach in the minivan. She's like, I'm not learning. I'm not driving minivan. I'm like driving a Cadillac truck either. Where there's a big divider I have to be able to reach the break and gas shut the car down. Right. So but she wants a nineteen sixty nine 'Sella Mercedes hard. It's going to be to drive that car a stick shift to well. You you clogging around in the nineteen and LA it's hard in a six, but I like a stick shift. I just got one. I. Learned on a stick shift or I'm going to. I'm going to ask you some questions to see if you would pass these are right from the DMV. All right. When parking a parallel to the curb on a level street. Your wheels should be a they must be turned towards the street. Be must be within eighteen inches of the curb see must touch the curb in the front or back. Well, you can't be eighteen inches away from the curb, and you can't be touching the curb. So it must be a you earn towards the street. Incorrect then roll. Yeah. Yeah. We hear that towards the Kurd. No. You. Sure. Yes. I gotta check this out west. You know, if you're if you're on a downhill, then yes, turned towards the curb you don't ever want to turn into the street you'd go rolling down the street who is he right away. When going up the hill the person coming up the hill of the person going down the hill. I don't know. Do what is it the person? We let me figure this. The person going up the hill has the right away because it's far more dangerous to backup going down than it is to go up. I know that that question it was the one probably the one question my life. Just let me ask the questions. All right. Just don't try to show off on one question. You know on trying to avoid the question. For safety. Look down the road to wear. Your vehicle will be in about a fifty yards be ten to fifteen seconds. See three Carlings. Well has to be as close as possible, close medium and far. So. You have to look straight the whole entire tire. You don't look ten feet if team feet or just fifty feet. What have you would have a cat runs out in front of you? You're gonna hit a kitty. Going to hit a kidney to avoid a tree gonna hit a kitty exactly I didn't fix site. That's the answer. The answer is ten to fifteen seconds. You don't wanna look fifty yards away. What if the kid is right here? Ten or fifteen feet. It depends. You're you're you're watching. Let's just talk. She taught about your movie. Thank his clearly, you're not going to answer any questions. All right. So it's called instant family. And and it's it's such a sweet feelgood film. And it's a true story. Two faced on the producer, right? All the writer director. Okay. Sean explained the movie he and his wife were becoming very successful. But they were getting a little older getting pressure from their family to start their own family, and he kind of made an off handed comment about well..
