"Tweets all right dave bleacher tweets for a mundy. We've got a couple of years some good questions. We got andrew. Stout i at thomas. Ac stout injure rates in so adam wainwright is tied for the second most wins and major league baseball second most innings pitched in an er a under three. Oh and he turns forty before his next start. Is he slipping. I guess maybe ascending into the gushing slipping is a bad word there. I'm so excited. First of all taylor to answer bleacher tweets. This is very fun. So adam wainwright no-doubt unbelievable year guy who kind of looked at the end of line two or three years ago. Is cy young contender. I wouldn't go that far. I'd say maybe he might get some back in fourth or fifth place but if you look at some of the numbers he's only thirteenth in the national league war he's tenth and era. There's so many nfl starters. Having great years you know that wainwright still is beyond me walker dealers. Probably the leader at this point you know He's thirteen and two two point. Oh to right. no doubt. He's the favourite may be corporate burns. Brandon woodruff kevin. Gaas men. max scherzer see. This is where it's waiting majlis avenue unbelievable years so adam wainwright not really a ending tender there. You have it todd. Alec pratt at todd. Seven writes in craig. Kimbrel has given up five earned runs and two home runs all season for teams. That are not the cubs. He's given up six earned runs and three home runs to a bad cubs team. Have you ever seen a dominant player get traded mid season and struggled so badly against his old team type pratt. I assume that's not the time pratt to play for the mets back. In the day that one would take some research to give you a good answer. My response here is yet craig kimbrel and liam hendriks have both been scuffling a little bit when they made that trade. We kind of expect they would have this absolute dominant one to bullpen punch at dinner. The games and i think a lot of people when they acquired kimbrel automatically made the white sox the favourite to come out of the but so far they have not been a dominant do also. That's something to watch for the white sox september can hendrix kimbro. Get back on track heading into the playoffs. But yeah then. He struggle against the cubs since trade. The topic is made for podcasts. Or radio it's like the white sox have closer problem. What's tony larussa gonna do. Hopefully i. it's interesting because we always evaluate these trades. The day they happen at the deadline that one out everybody thought absolute great trade for the white sox kimbrel had been. He'd been the best closer in baseball the first half with the cubs and he hasn't been that with the white sox doesn't mean we get october doesn't pitch twelve scoreless innings but it's a little bit of a concern for chicago right. Now let's go to andrew campbell at real cam. True andrew rates in if the yankees. Just keep on winning. Is there any chance. Garrett cole sneaks in at the very end and steals the al cy young award. He's thirteen and six so far. Two hundred strikeouts. What's his second in major league baseball in his era since at two point eight all while pitching in the al east. Well andrew count weird question. Because i think it's always been garrett cole and lance lynn sort of in one spot all year for the al cy young but now lens had a couple rough outings lately. Ziara which was in the low twos is up to five nine. So i think cole is the favorite right. Now he leaves the al and graphs war. Two point eight zero er a to me. He's the number one guy. So i don't think he's sneaking up at anybody. The guy who might be sneaking up is robbie ray. He's only nine and five but two seven to your a tough strikeouts. He's on a roll So i think kohl's the favourite i think robbie ray is number two right now and lance. Lynn is probably down the number. Three with nathanael volley few like war. He's kind of a dark horse Coal in war. Bobby meacham at bobby meacham. One rates giancarlo. Stanton has been on a tear at the plate since about the same time. He started playing games in the outfield. Do we know who was behind the decision not to play the field. All these months was at standing or the yankees. Yeah it's a good question. Another former player. Writing in bobby meacham up and coming superstar for the yankees in the eighties. That's a good question you know yes. Stanton did not play his first game in the outfield. Until i believe july thirtieth the first game anthony. Rizzo played with the team. This make you wonder. Is there correlation. Here that stan has started hitting since he's been playing the field. I don't know look obviously. They were to try to preserve his health. But you gotta let these guys play stanton always a pretty good defensive outfielder with the marlins so he's not gonna hurt the team out there. I think getting them in the field is helped and last one for today. Pk steinberg our friend writes in. Honestly what's tampa bay's secret freaking sauce. And why can't the pirates orioles rockies etc emulate and replicated their small market team with huge market success in a scoff at the angels dodgers and padres and yankees. What is it for you dave. Well how much time do we have to go into this. No the key to the raise. One organizational depth. They draft. Well they develop well both in the states and latin america and the key of course is the rapid turnover of the roster. They'll trade a player not as he's entering his final year before free agency but two or three years before he hits free agency which means they get a lot more in return. You know if a player has a career year though flip you know and get more younger players in return like. I don't think it's probably easier to be a fan of the race because you're always learning new players but that churn of the roster they make it work it takes a lot of guts to trade young players coming off good years but they're not afraid to do that and they basically have been competitive now since two thousand eight it. It's hard to pull off with their resources. They've done it and they continue to do it. They're gonna win that division. I'm over here. you can hear now. The world small violin for playing for tampa fans because they have to learn new player names who was not the best way to phrase that they they do a great job finding relievers kind of out of nowhere. They i hate to give credit to the front office is it's the players who would lose games. But it's more cohesiveness throughout the organization. And i know when i talked to raise players. They buy in completely and they know who's gonna be spending six years in tampa bay there no at some point. They're going to get traded. But somehow kevin cash and the coaching staff front office get complete absolute by in on what. They're trying to do there. And it works pretty jelly over here. Thanks.

"One other nick of the yankees prices and you were kind of like Like sounds interesting. it's rare to have. I feel like with forty games lot. Basically i'll so many of these division prices go like what are the white sox minus literally not going to give you a bet on like actually can't bet it and so many of the other divisions work the same way it's kind of rare to have a division race down the stretch where you know with so few games left. It's like basically kind of pick them each way in terms of which of the two teams you think is going to win. That's what we have in the west right now. Where despite the fact that the dodgers are still a four games back at the san francisco giants giants minus one twenty-five dodgers minus one twelve so giant. Stay tiny favorite basically to win the no west despite having a multi game lead you know forty games for basically when the season is over. Who do you think is more likely to win the division the giants or the dodgers. Ooh i would. I've been trying to. I thought i'd i'd do the power rankings column at nbc sports edge. That comes out. Every tuesday shameless plug and i put the giants at the top. Like twelve weeks ago And was thinking it would be kind of like a one week to week run. But they're still up there Here in as we move into late. August and i've been waiting for them to kind of fall off and they just haven't kris bryant has been a great trade deadline pickup They somehow lead the the entire major leagues in combined. Home run total even though like they don't have one specific standout star when it comes to a power standpoint. I believe they have eleven different players that are in the double digits in home runs and then kevin gaas men and logan web was terrific again on tuesday night. I'm so i feel like it'd be foolish at this point to doubt them. i think. Really the the lead story in the ls is the padres following flat. You know which is opened things up for the reds and the phillies and even somehow the cardinals and the no wildcard or my dropped the padres to number ten in my power rankings. This week after they get they got no hit. By someone named tyler gilbert onside or hey in arizona wound up losing three or four in that series against the diamondbacks Just one win over their last seven games and they turned jake arrieta today in colorado. And that didn't well. That's how desperate. San diego is for pitching at the moment. When it looks like to begin the season the padres have maybe the best pitching that in baseball possibly behind only the dodgers and now you look at the dodgers and they're pitching depth to the trevor bauer situation. Kershaw remains sidelined Who is out still. Tony gone when cole hamels didn't even throw a pitch before they had the rule him out for the year See i think. I'd go with the giants to take that division. And i think that the nfl wildcard is going to get really interesting As the padres kind of try to tread tread water here down the stretch..

"Six two. But certainly this year of a season-long era of two three four is above. And beyond what. We've come to know from kevin gaas mid so is is the workload kind of bearing down on him. Is he going to be able to continue to push or is he going to run out of gas here coming down the stretch. It'll be fascinating story line to follow along out west. But he really is the only guy for the giants on this list so again. Best pitcher on the best team if he continues to shove he's going to be right there in the conversation. Now corbin burns here. We are again. Plus six fifty. I talked to you guys about what he did tonight. Just kind of another notch and his belt. The record of ten straight strikeouts. He's going to improve seven and four on the year. Era of two to. Three's going to go down. He's up to about one hundred and thirty innings. One hundred seventy two strikeouts. That number is going up based on today's outing. So this certainly is another way for him to kind of get into this conversation and continue to push. I mean he's in the ninety fifth percentile or better and every statistic category. It's just man he. He really is an outside. The box candidate here. Where if he continues to throw like he did tonight. I think it plus six fifty. It's not a bad bet on corbin burns kinda coming down the stretch here. I think that could be some value as we're looking for. You know long shots. His teammate brandon would drif is next on the list at plus five twenty five so just a little bit better than the plus. Six fifty corbin burns after this recent started may go down from plus six fifty. So get on that today. If you're listening to it here. Thursday but the record of seventy seven and six i think is a detriment to brandon woodruff. A two to three era in twenty two games hundred and thirty seven innings hundred in sixty strikeouts. He's obviously been fantastic. He's third or better and era strikeouts whip war innings pitched. He's right at the top of the list. So every major statistical category for these pitchers i mean would drift right there him and burns whose the ace. It's going to be a battle and these guys are gonna push each other internally right based on what gordon burns's just done brandon. Would drift now knows if he's going to continue to be just ahead of him in the odds he's going to go out and have to shove freddie peralta is going to watch these two guys and know that he has to go out and perform so even though they have a big lead in the national league central. These guys are still going to play off of each other and be driven by each other to be the best they can be coming down the stretch here but the top two guys slightly ahead of the rest of these gentlemen at plus two seventy five. You have walker bueller of the l. a. dodgers. He's been one of the most consistent guys this year across baseball he's thrown at least six innings and allowed to earn runs or fewer in sixteen starts. Which is the most across major league baseball this year. He's twelve into a two one three. Era in twenty three games one hundred and forty seven innings hundred and fifty two strikeouts point nine three whip so he's arguably been the ace the entire season of this dodgers staff. Which again. I think puts him ahead of his now running mate max. Sure zor because you look at the dodgers. Why are they here. What's the reason they're here. Well walker buehler's one of the biggest reasons injuries in the rotation injuries to kershaw injuries to may injuries to other guys. Bueller spend mr steady. He's going deep into game. She's not giving up a lot of run so he's certainly at the top of that conversation now he really does need kind of an electric start here nine inning shutout ten plus strikeouts national tv kind of like burns kind of like wheeler the other day against the mets. We'll get to him in a minute but kind of having that moment. That kind of brings all the eyeballs and saying. Wow that was like a cy. Young style of outing is what walker bueller needs down the stretch here if he's going to jump. The favorite who right now is zack. Wheeler at one eighty. Five and zack wheeler his odds have absolutely decreased. I mean if you're looking at the odds back on july twenty eighth so even two weeks ago wheeler was plus twenty. One hundred buehler was plus thirteen fifty now just after that it all the way. Plus three ninety for zack wheeler on august. Second now in august eleventh plus one seventy three so he continues to decline and be the favourite as he puts together a good outing after good outy he is ten and six with a two four two hundred fifty six innings. One hundred eighty one strikeouts. He has been absolutely dominance right. He's thirty one years old. Leads the the majors in endings at one hundred fifty six so he continues to be at the top. There leads the national league in strikeouts one hundred and eighty one so he's throwing long into games. The most seven innings starts most eight inning starts. We talked about that on mondays. Podcast when i was talking about the phillies in the national league east and then he had that moment against the mets last time out where they retired roy holidays number on national television and then he retired twenty straight batters he was the first phillies pitcher. Sense roy holiday to to accomplish that feat so national. Tv tried to take over first place in the division. Throwing a complete game shutout. Just kinda brought. All those is nationally onto zack wheeler so he was able to get that national crowd not just the local philadelphia market buying into ultimately what he's doing here in being the cy young favorite. So wheeler is the favourite. He's been consistent all year if he continues to go deep into game. Strike guys out in the phillies. Make the playoffs. I think that's going to be a big key. As to whether or not wheeler wins the award because if the phillies collapsed down the stretch or even though wheeler remains dominant. I would give the edge to somebody like walker bueller or would drift four burns because those teams are going to make the post season. And i think that's a big to do here similar to mvp typically guys who win the mvp. Their teams are in the play offs. So if the phillies miss the playoffs. I think it opens things up for those other guys. Burns would drift bueller to ultimately. Come in and snag this a war. But that'll do it here for another episode of the mc baseball podcast brought to you by the mc podcast network. Hopefully you guys enjoyed today's episode..

"You must be crazy use a D. O. G., and if you was my man, I would have been kicked you out of my house by now this is what had happened. Actually, for that, a couple of minutes left in the show keeping our eye on the trade deadline, we only have an hour left. War rumors about the giants maybe moving on from Kevin Gaas Mun. Listen they signed him to a one year nine, million dollar deal which meant. What do they have to Pam or? E. This guy was speaking of four. He was a fourth overall pick lsu. He's not even thirty at and he's an unrestricted free agent. So you only keep him. If you think you're going to win the world series this year. That's only reason to keep him. I would cash an. Interesting to from yesterday in baseball I said, there's been some. Only, crazy numbers. The cubs had a meltdown Saturday night with kid. Rake kimber once but anyway, they did Trump Cincinnati yesterday ten to one and they did something that's never happened in the history of baseball. All three of their starting outfielders hit two home runs each. Jason Heyward in happened Kyle Schwab. In fact, Schwab second one was a grand Salami. Here's the interesting thing about Jason Heyward. He's good again. He's hitting who would have thought that. He's hitting two eighty six right now. The plate discipline. Is whereas renew article and that's where he's improved his chase percentage in other words swing in a garbage outside of the strike zone. He's improved twelve percent on that. So the cubs if you think about. How Hobby Boulez isn't hitting. Ryan has slumped Rizzo has slumped Willie contraire has slumped. What is keeping the cubs in this with twenty wins a lot of it are those slugging outfielders but hayward as well. How about that are thanks for tuning in? We'll do it tomorrow at nine. "Braves have and apparently more on the way the Braves are going to be a contending team. It seems for a good long while now. And. And it's been interesting to watch him. I and giants are going to have to fight hard to get a split of this four-game series. They need to win today to do that razor game and a half behind the Phillies. Second place in the National League east Atlanta's got Ronald kunia junior. Maybe the most talented of all their young players in centerfield hitting leadoff, your this afternoon, dance Swanson, a shortstop at second FREDDY Freeman. He is no longer considered a young player. He's just considered a great players hack series free minute. First base batting third, Josh Donaldson. Third basement hits in the cleanup spot. Austin Riley, the leftfielder will bet v the second baseman Ozzy AVI. Switch hitter hitting six trolley Culbertson. The former giants minor leaguer gets start today in right field hitting six to Nick marquesses off for the afternoon. At least starting Tyler flowers. The catcher is banning eight and a starting pitcher for -lanta is a right hander Kevin GAAS many spent the first part of his career with the Baltimore Orioles, he has come to Atlanta at pitch better with the brave. Over the last year or so two and three or four three one earned-run average for GAAS Mun against the giants today. This will be his tenth start of the year. Meanwhile, the giants twenty one and twenty seven giants are in fifth place in the National League West Joe panic back in the lineup after a rare off night last night. Second basement hitting the top spot. The order, Stephen Duggar in centerfield hit, second BUSTER Posey, doing a catching beds, third, Brandon bell over at first base he hits cleanup. Evan longoria third baseman at fifth place at our Kevin Lara rightfielder bat, six MAC, Williamson in left field, hitting seven Donovan Solano is starting today. Brenna crawford. The giants announced today we hadn't been feeling one hundred percent. He has a case of conjunctiva Itis, which is I think essentially, Pinkai, and brand got all the young kids, young family. And it happens in so he has been bugged by that the last couple of nights. Crawford's gonna take today off maybe even take tomorrow off just to try to feel better. Crawford, I think would be available as a pinch hitter. If the giants need a playoff bench in this game but he's just not one hundred percent. So a lot of at shortstop hitting eight and a starting pitcher, of course, is the left-hander Madison Bumgarner against the team that he grew up watching, and pulling for is a young baseball fan. Bumgarner three and four four two Yarra intense start, sixty two innings for Madison Bumgarner. Sixty four strikeouts. Only eleven walks stuff has not been reflected in those numbers, and Bumgarner attic is motivated to get those numbers looking more Bumgarner like he's been really good overall for the giants this year. "The sports leader. Welcome back to Camby tonight. My name's Bill, asking you filling in for Mark Willard and some positive points about tomorrow's game Madison, Bumgarner on the hill tomorrow against Kevin GAAS men as this reading this minute ago, just unbelievable. What I'm reading here. Madison, Bumgarner seven and three with a two point seven earned run average against the Braves in twelve career starts in fact, entering tomorrow's outings, Madison won his last seven decisions. That's right. Seven and all with a two point zero three earned run average in eight starts against the Braves. He hasn't lost to the lane of Braves since two thousand twelve. So you think about that when he goes on that hill tomorrow, seven and his last eight starts with a two point zero earned run average pretty Godley numbers right there to go on a hill tomorrow. So if you're Batman, do you bet on him? Do you put a of money on Madison because seven knows pretty damn good. And I think Madison has been pitching real good. His last four starts. So we'll see what happens. But to some thoughts before you go to bed tonight before you lay your head on that pillow about tomorrow's game. I'm thinking, hey, giants got a chance. Well, I think they do. Number forty is on the hill tomorrow against Kevin GAAS men, a right hander panic wasn't in the lineup today. He'll be there tomorrow belt wasn't in Atlanta today. He'll be there tomorrow. The left is going to have the attack. You might even see Stephen vote behind the plate tomorrow. Lefty attack against God's men Madison on a hill. Not a bad flavor when you wake up tomorrow morning, having a Cup of coffee. So far has been fun tonight. Really enjoyed fitting in tonight. Kmby are Tanada got Jacob and Dave behind the glass. "And ready after a ten day nine game road trip was put behind them that took them to Monterrey Mexico than to Los Angeles. Then to San Diego, the reds are back at it. Too friendly confines tonight after a day abreast yesterday. They opened up a three game set against the Atlanta. Braves reds went four and five on the trip. They enter played tonight with an overall record of eight and thirteen four a half back in the first place. Pittsburgh pirates. The Braves have won two straight. They stand eleven and ten they're a half game back of the Mets and the. The Phillies in the National League east. It's take a look at tonight's starting pitchers. Brought to you by western southern financial group helping to make Cincinnati the best place to live work and enjoy life on the mound for the reds Sonny gray the mount for the Braves Kevin GAAS madhouse similar are these pitchers at least statistically this season. Sunday grays earned run average to seventy nine Kevin Guzman's to seventy five sunny grace throw nineteen and a third innings Goslin throw nineteen and two-thirds innings. They each give it up the same number of hits. They've each struck out nineteen batters they've each walk six. They've each allowed six earned runs. They'll go at it tonight at great American ballpark. You heard segmentation at the bottom of the arrow the roster news for the reds today. Let's go a little bit deeper on that the reds have placed Matt Kemp on the injured list. He crashed into the wall on Sunday in San Diego, suffered a broken rib. He goes on the injured list expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. He was hitting just two hundred. But that was best among the reds outfielders. One home run and five RBI's is the reds have recalled from triple a Louisville. Outfielder Phillip Ervin gives them at other centerfield option. Of course, Philip bourbon other than Scott shetler. Well, those two had the best springs of anybody in the reds roster. Schindler made the team urban did not Philip in twelve games at triple a Louisville has hit just two twenty four in those twelve games. He's over nine in his last two games with five strikeouts. So urban is up Kemp to the injured list. It will be very interesting to see what ultimately happens with Matt camp. If he misses a couple of weeks, you would figure a couple of weeks would put us in range of Nixon Zell potentially being called up. I will I will stick to what I said last week when Kemp had a chance to face five lefties, I wonder if Matt Kemp is long for this team in terms of them, just cutting bait and moving on the reality is when that trade was made it was to get rid of Homer Bailey. The bonus was they got wood and. League and Kemp and farmer, but Kemp all along look like the odd piece in the puzzle never really seemed to fit here you wonder in a couple of weeks time once he's ready to come off the DL. If in fact, Nixon's L is ready to come up. And if if Philip urban has played well, what ultimately it means for Matt Kim's future as a Cincinnati red, by the way that reds outfield tonight Kemp or no camp enters play tonight. Collectively be at batting average on base slugging. You name it defense as well. As the worst outfield in major league baseball entering play tonight combined that outfield is hitting one seventy eight with a two twenty five earned earned run average on base percentage. If you add up their war. It's an easy add it's a minus one point eight that's not good. That's Kemp's two hundred batting average Puig's one sixty four wafers one seventy two and shetler one sixty. Four collectively for this reds f- feel that now ads Philip urban tonight. "That's that's what I think. By the way, there's a question here from Brett about Vince Alaska's role he's the fifth starter that so many off days in the first week. He's not a relief pitcher not yet he could be next year. But like if something's wrong Robertson. I don't think they go out and sign Craig kimbrel. I don't think move. Alaska's the bullpen either. I think they just use from within Pattni Schick might get some saves. But Alaska's is a starter. I just don't think he's going to be a fantasy rove one. All right. Let's move on now to the weekend preview as I moved down on my list here. Okay. ESPN? Plus today has Aaron Sanchez Toronto who I like against that awful Cleveland offense. You can't bet Tyler Neko and cleanup and Jordan loop blow and expect to score runs. And yet the managers and censure known as contract, we should all be so lucky, but Trevor Barrowman happy getting much run support today against Aaron Sanchez. That's something to watch. What do you think a court clover? That's too that outings. Now, Cleveland's offense is so bad and they're not going to get Linda back in April. Can you worry about Cleveland starting pitching? I mean, if you've got to put a weight on likelihood of wins, you need to make some sort of a judgment here. But I really hate overstating that I hate saying it at all that's the only thing that's gonna have an impact on terms of the starting pitchers. I think because I love those guys I mean first team in history to have four hundred strikeout guys. And I was what two years late on that bowl prediction way back when the offense is bad though. I don't think that's Frank fault. I think that's just the roster's allowed to just get stale year over year for the past two to three. But yeah, it's an opportunity for opposing starters Aaron Sanchez. I want to get on board with you. I do I feel like there's a good career there productive pitcher there. But the blister issues held him back in the past. I'm not I'm not quite there yet. I feel like this is just a streaming unity managers. Look good when they have good players, and they look bad when they had bad players. Okay. Was Gabe Kaplan fault that the Mingas and Robertson retire. No is a Francona 's faulted Tyler Neko's third-best outfielder. That's ridiculous. But no, of course, not. But when you know managers look Joe Madden who used to be a lot better. You know? I mean as a his fault, they had six hours the other day. Anyway, I also watch Darvish today. That's not Joe Madden's fall. When you Darvish his walking every other hitter. Almost literally I mean, you did as Tyler showed impression the other day. I don't know what you do there. I mean, if he does it again today, Atlanta, I guess they'd stick him on the fan of injury. And he has to work out his command, right? I mean, I do not want Darvish for this outing today my bottom, I wouldn't jump to the idea of throwing them on the I L just to get him off the roster and out of the rotation temporarily. But the fact that he had some injuries late in spring training makes me wonder too. So it's a good point, by the way on Friday. There is now day action at the White Sox at the Rockies. Get those lineups in early ESPN. Plus at night has Pablo Lopez whose everyone sleeper now you and me against Kevin GAAS men making his season debut. I'm not trusting Guzman yet Lopez you, and I both love I would add Brennan Woodrow from walkout out every Milwaukee started right now, I guess even Zach Davies, although he doesn't have the strike outside. I know you don't like him that much, but he was passable into sixteen and seventeen but would roof and Corbin burns could be excellent. That's why I'm saying add these guys Frankie montage that Houston. Do you believe? He well. Houston's a terrible matchup from. I can't use them for this one in our games context. But I like the arm, and I've that's one I've taken a flier in any of the league's defend deep enough to support it because Montas did introduce that splitter during spring training. And it looks pretty good. At least the brief times. I've been able to see it..

"Sometimes it's a split change in all that stuff. It's usually more more of a change of change of pace pitch. Sometimes you can have finger fastball. But you're usually using it to dial down and keep like if all d- does, sir. So I so you would wanna see Guzman use it a two strike pitch with them. And he doesn't have anything else. And that's the problem is I don't I don't really see a strike at printing guy in the future here for Gassman until there's something else that he's really strong offering in that he can't really just go as for seem split finger in this bat slider. So I I don't really like this. I think that his I mean, I don't think four era guy he could be three seven for it could even be three five. But I don't think it's gonna come with a strikeout rate that we want and it's going to make it a little more dicey for us to go after gasping. Because I mean, that's the ceiling. I think that three five whip always seems to run high to even the two eight seven ran with a one fourteen and usually a sub three E R A. If it's if it's kind of matching the skill set. So too. Speak. It's a one ten or better whip. You know, a lot of times it's in that war on point. Oh, something. So even the one fourteen there was a little little suspect for forgotten. So I totally understand the skepticism there, and like I said, I've got him down at sixty ninth is normally nice, but not not quite as nice what he's taking. I'm seventy four. I haven't met seventy four had hip or nine underneath eight point five. And you know, he was at seven point five with the Braves if he can maintain that over a full year that's going to be impressive. They've got a better defense better park. But I will say the NFL easy has no longer such. You know, you got four teams go going there. Yes. At least he's not on the Marlins. He doesn't have to face all the tough teams. But you're not super geek to go into city or not you're not geeked at all to go into citizens Bank or to nationals park. So that's Kevin GAAS, man. Let's move onto our next one here, and it is going to be her mind. Marquesses prize me that there's volatility exactly. In fact, I frankly would have been surprised on the other end, and he's got a right or point difference, which is sixth highest on this list. Again, we picked three each with at least thirty plus and to give you an idea of how many have thirty. Plus there are twenty five of the seventy five pitcher pool that we use that have at least thirty plus difference in there. Men pick and max pick. So we, you know, whole third of the player pool here, and we pick three that we wanted to discuss here and Marquez does make the less fifty four year that's going as high as fifty one and as low as one oh five and in eighty four ADP, he's the twenty fifth pitcher, I've only preached him on. My my skepticism with him. And I will be honest onum..

"And I'm a big fan of McCue coming into this. You're actually wrote about him entering says an eighteen and then. Of course, they had all these extra options that he got pushed into middle relief. But I do think that make you could easily be four year guy, maybe even like three five ninety out of the room possibility. He did that in twelve starts to seventeen with that new Brad peacock slider. But anyway, Josh James, he can probably fill in as a four or five. I don't really see why he wouldn't see also sixty to Whitley I don't actually expect him to get starts out of the gate or night. Night of the year. Yeah. I think it's going to take a while for for Whitley. I'm sure some folks are saying that that firm rebound does. I know maybe that that's gonna leave it open for Willie. I actually think they're going to sign one other guy. I don't know who it is. But someone who's kind of solid if unspectacular, and it's and him might take that fit spot or take the four and move James down to five we both love, Josh James and seems the market likes them quite a bit too. Because this is a this is a a decent price. It's not something that I find agreed just picked two or three by any stretch. But the markets they're ready to pay. He's going to age twenty six two. So while he is a prospect. He's not one of these young guys that you have to worry about and say, well, you know, they can hold them off for this amount of time or or whatever he wound up last year with with about one hundred and thirty five innings issue eyeball in it for Josh James. So there's no reason that he can't come out and get full workload. He's a strikeout. Stun? He actually limited his walks pretty nicely in his short MLB sample. We'll see if. That continues this kind of one of the things on his ledger to work for but he also had a high home run rate. So maybe it was one of those sort sorta deals where he's a guy like so many others. We've talked about with the electric stuff where they have to balance the command and control and say, hey, don't just put it in the zone to make it hit a ball and let it leave the yard. I'd rather you walk the guy in and take your shots with the next guy then than do anything where the where the long ball becomes an issue because it wasn't an issue in the minor leagues for James. I really do like him. He's probably my favorite in this fifty one to sixty group. It's Jinro John gray, John Lester, Sean nukem, Kevin GAAS man, James Joey Qaissi, Alex to my ADA and Ross stripling. I love Ross stripling as well. I know dodger Itis is there is absolutely a concern. But I think it's baked into the price here because I have stripling ranked much higher. Obviously. I know I don't need to take him up. There. Him going pick to twenty two makes it very easy to take stripling fair cost. Same with my ENA. That's the thing with dryness. There's just so many. There's just so many strong pitchers that they have. That's why it is such a problem there. I wanna ask you about one guy in particular who got away from dodge rightous, but didn't go bit of tough park. Alex wood. He's going to have that clear path to get as many stars as he is. He can handle and he's had some full workload seasons. This is not a situation where we've never seen it from Alex what he's actually has a couple one eighty and above seasons. I believe actually skews me a one one ninety one seventy two, but he can he can make it through a full season..
