Most of you know by now myles Garrett Takes Mason Rudolph Helmet off and then Wax Rudolph over the head with the helmet He was ojected There were marquees. pouncey jumped into protect a rude. It off he threw a couple of punches. Garrett kicked him in the helmet on the ground it was a complete and utter Malay to finish up and evening. That was just as is boring. A game that you can get and by the way let me just say up front one of the worst quarterbacking performances all season long by Mason Rudolph who was just dreadful in the game. Four interceptions and Cooley. I thought he could have had seven in the game. He was so bad. But let's start with myles Garrett and before you weigh in I wanNA play Joe. Buck in Troy Aikman's reaction When the play happens in then you'll hear them as they see the replay there?.

we're talking about lessons from family reunions are you ready well let's get started within us I actually believe in our world today we don't spend enough time thinking about and valuing the idea of learning from our elders a family reunion can many people say our family reunion is different than most people most people have an afternoon long family to create an understanding of who we are and where we came from history provides understanding we can certainly get that from more than a family reunion but a family I mean not us starts Friday night goes through Sunday at lunch people come from multiple states and that's one of the reasons why it's longer our family reunion this year is he was telling a story about something that happened to him and he said here's the lesson when there's when you have one boy you have one boy when you have two boys you have together because of a blood relationship but then in every generation there are marriages and there are folks that aren't blood relation that become an integral part was held at our farm in Michigan and so because it's just recently happened as I'm recording this for you I thought I'd share some of my lessons and how they I'm kevin i can vary and i'm here to help you reach your potential as a leader and human being welcome to remarkable tv today. We're talking about what i learned on my summer vacation. Are you ready. Let's get started good news. This is not the back to school essay about what i learned my summer vacation and better news. I'm not going to share a bunch of photos with you. What i am going to talk to you. Though is what i learned on my summer vacation in first. Let's talk about how i vacation. Here's how i vacation. I go to our farm in michigan again for a couple of weeks. Every summer. I spent a couple of days working before the vacation begins and while i'm there we have a big party. It's a long story this year here. We also had a family reunion talk about that next week but most of all during this medication. I have a lot of activity. There's a lot of stuff going on. So how do i relax well. I relaxed in lots of ways but as i've just hinted activity is one of those ways by me getting more active in doing things not necessarily going on a hike but being active being outside. Those are some of the ways that relax one of the ways that's different from my normal everyday everyday work. So what are my observations. What did i learn in my on my summer vacation. First of all mine will be different than yours in other words what my vacation or my ideal vacation or how i wanna summer vacation is probably different than what you want and there's nothing wrong with that. It just is what it is and so so the question then is who's right is my way better. Know is your way better. Not necessarily what's important are the lessons that i learned this year. I find yours find your way to have the best vacation for you. What are the things that make help you. Relax dope you recharge and rejuvenate figure out what those things are for you and second don't project on others there other people that are on my around me during my vacation to have a different view and a different look at what summer vacation looks like for them. It's okay it doesn't matter who's right. It matters that we figure out what we need and if we're vacationing with others that we make sure they get some of what they need to so. Those are some of my lessons dozens of a high level lessons from my summer vacation. I know that this episode has been a little more about thinking than action. I haven't give you a lot of specific things to take action on my challenge to you is to think about what you learn on your summer vacation and maybe leave you with this final thought in the tweet determine what vacation means to you and create more of them they will refresh and revive you summer vacation or not every tuesday through friday. I create what we call. The daily email is sent to people who want to hear from me about what i'm learning and how you can be inspired each day eight tuesday through friday by joining us for the daily email. I hope you'll do that all the information for that is here and speaking of regular activities. He's every week right here another episode of remarkable devi next week. I'm kevin i can bury and i'm here to help you. Reach your potential as a leader and a human being welcome to remarkable tv today. We're talking about leadership and apples. Are you ready. Let's get started well. This is the third week in a channel series of challenges that people gave me where they gave me an item in this case and apple said kevin how's that like leadership or what can we learn from that thing and leadership in like last week the second one from neil collusive who gave us this idea and said kevin an apple and leadership so here you go and neil and your goals for everyone else. What can we as leaders learn from this this apple well. I an apple carries a legacy so inside of every apple. There's somewhere between five and thirteen eighteen seeds now. Some apples will have more it will depend on the size of the apple in the variety the apple but pretty much all apple will have at least five seeds and some will have thirteen or more and each of those seeds doesn't just produce another apple it can produce a whole nother tree with hundreds and hundreds of apples for many many years and so like that as leaders we can create a legacy the leader the folks that we the influence the folks that we develop and and the legacy that they provide to our organization and for those people and for those people's families and for the people that those people lead apples carry a legacy and so two leaders number two apples are nutritious tristesse. I mean we eat an apple because it's good tastes good but it's good for us now. I'm not saying that there should be like biting in of the leader. I'm not saying that teams need good leaders. In order to be successful. There's something that they had that adds to make things better and something that apple adds to our diet to help us be healthier. Teams will be healthier with a great leader. Just like you'll be healthier if an apple an apple a day keeps the doctor your way number. Three apples are attractive. Now i told mercer there'd be one of these. It was a bit of a stretch. Maybe this is it. I mean i think apples are pretty. There's lots of art about apples. Apples are pretty. They come in all colors. Here's a thing apples are attractive and i believe that the best leaders are attractive. No not talking physically. I'm talking about piss. People choose to follow leaders. The best leaders attract followers people say i wanna be around that person i want to follow that person and i believe in that person and not attractive visually like the apple but attractive by their ideas and their approaches and their values and their beliefs apples attractive indus leaders are attractive and lastly apples have strengths and weaknesses now. I grew up part of the country where we had a lot of apples of different varieties and so you may or may not know this. Some apples are really good for eating. Some apples are really good to make pie my personal favorite some apples are better for applesauce than others. Some apples really all apples when put altogether in one make the best apple cider. The fact is that some apples are better at some things than others apples have strengths and weaknesses as do leaders no such thing. It's the perfect leader no such thing as one leader that can do anything and everything the thing is that as a leader you've got things are especially good at those are things that we want to continue to improve and develop and there are things that you have that you're not so good at that. Are your blind spots that are your weaknesses and we went to work on those but not only working on those who work on strengths as well and get this. Here's the.

"I know if the story was reversed, you would not allow me to tell it. But I'll take the self sacrificing for our listeners, because I think that's why they love the fact that we've been friends so long and we beat each other up on air. I mean, it's not that long story people just that me and my girlfriend where your your children. The guy goes is this your daughter and her boyfriend. The lady, the lady, I remember ladies label. Yeah. She's just a cougar on the hunt. She thought I was just a young father. Twenty three year old girlfriend, whose boyfriend was thirty. Say this was years ago, years ago Asia's ages. It changed mine had. Yeah. She's like fifty now. Anyway back to land. The only thing like pressing man, I had had a piece of property and had a buyer before it was closed. And she went out there and funded them. She's a K as this is the road, you get onto the top of it, and she couldn't figure it out. There's only two roads. I don't know. She said there was a lot gate but I didn't see any lock gates photography didn't note any lock gates. And there was a Pat on top of it for a mobile home at one point. So I don't know. It's a pretty neat little property, twelve acres. It's on top of a plateau overlooks, the valley in Utah really pretty. So I was bothers me when people can't take the time to figure out access on their own, and they're calling, you left and right for like this one property, when you pull it up on the maps, you can see five different ways to get to it. He kept going to one particular spot where there was a gate and kept emailing gate. There's a gate and I'm like they're going to the wrong place. Anyway. I'm gonna get myself worked up if I keep working, eventually just took a screen shot of the map put it on paint. And just drew. Eros from every direction and sent it to them. Hey, you can't figure out how to get to it. I'll give you your money back. Yeah. I had a lady go out to a property, while I was gone. I sent her the purchase sales agreement. Everything's just say go check it out. Let me know if you sign it I'll get back. We'll figure out the payment or the getting closed. So she goes, he's like, I'm just doing my due diligence. And I said, okay. She goes, I don't know, the county can't tell me if it was legally subdivided or not. I said, well, it's been subdivided since nineteen sixty five assume it's probably legal. It's bought with warranties. So your warranty there. She goes, well the road, you know, I'm gonna have to get it survey. And, and everything she goes, I know it says, there's an easement, but they can't tell me the road's name. So they don't know if that's the easement. They're talking about okay? The deed in every deed for that subdivision shows the same right away. And it goes from east to west which are even says that's the road east of us that you drove to the property on. Yeah. But I just don't know if somebody's going to. Pence me in one day, it hasn't been fenced in. Sixty years, I don't know what to tell you. Yeah, I don't I don't know then she, she called me five times while I was going out of town, five times with different story time. Well, the water tables kinda hi there. And I'm gonna have to put an above ground septic diga anything else closer to town. Not at that price, ma'am. Not at that price. I gotta guys McCall me a lot to its stock. Guess, but every time it's, it's like, hey, Mr. call. Nope. No. He didn't know you did have called in three weeks. Now we've closed on your property two weeks ago. So I definitely don't have any on you. But that dude's gate bit his dating game. Back in the day was like on fire. Sabet michiko. Nope. Didn't call. Let's go get dinner tonight. That's free. Okay. In it to win it, though. That's what I call a closer close closing me. Maybe salad. You said you wanted people to call you yesterday show. Now, you have this guy that calls you wants to be friend, and you're putting down. I think we need to talk to their stopped calling she breaks heart before all you left on. No, no. I was like super nice to him because he's sounds like grandfather. Okay. You know, you should call it just checking on. I've actually thought about just like continuing to check up with them because he definitely sounds. I don't know how maybe says that voice, but he doesn't sound very old. And he's real nice. And clearly just wants to talk to someone. Yeah, but I had a guy do that. We talked to me. We had six phone calls that were all forty five minutes to an hour long prior to me closing on his property, and I knew his whole life story when it was done. I just like man you're pretty cool guy. He's like I like you too. So that's one of the properties, it was like my uniform property, the got away and being up in Canada. I wish I had that property back, like I would have a cabin on it right now. And I would probably have my kids have to summer with me up there. Yeah. I've got this one probably right now that singing about keeping that brings up a whole other. I dunno problem because I was thinking on a whole other side of the country. What am I ever really gonna go to it? So I think you should I think we should take a trip. Let's take a road trip to. Let's go camp on it for a few days. And then come back. You know. Okay. So so that's one time. And that's fun. But then what we sell it. You make money. That's the that's the point is like I thought about keeping it for good. And then, so if we go one time will, then we'll know if you really want if you go and go on time and it's like something you decide to make an annual thing with buy an RV and go out there every year. Yeah, I don't know. We rent an RV and I'll pull my truck debt G dad's f fifty to say his to fifty were taken dad stroke. No not yet. At least. Yeah. I mean, the cool thing about the candidate trip for me like one of the things is it made me realize that how plugged into technology in how we don't just kinda sit in enjoy what's around us. You know, it was it was it sucked roughing, it sucks. Leaping on cut. I could fix that though. But the cool thing was guy ran entire deer camp that had three freezers we had, like seven grills campfire going had five, big tents people were sleeping with their c-pap machines at needed him. And he did it off. One little generator. Wow. So is to me, I was like, why couldn't I buy one of these cabins off Amazon for fifty seven hundred dollars on a piece of property two to three hours away from a house and get my kids out there, so they can actually enjoy that. Amazon didn't they just sell a tiny home thing. I sold out a twenty four hour. Yeah, that's homes. I'm talking about there were twenty thousand. Oh, no. These are different. These are. They're really cool because me and you could put it together in eight hours. It's designed for that. And so just. Pieces together would layers on top of each other like Lincoln logs the windows and everything doors. They said in there, and it's so well put together, you're not you don't have to insulate it. But the inside looks finished out like decking would. So it's, it's like you just painted. If you wanted to steal it. I mean it's just super cool and, like eight by twelve or something like that speaking of that, did you see the groupon man cave. It was a man cave that groupon was selling for Father's Day. No, it was awesome. How much was sixty grand. Oh, you rich not do you see it in my house? No. But it was it's an eight by ten soundproof room with a recliner, a refrigerator, a flat screen TV and posters of like your favorite sports team has completely man like a man cave with a lock and so that no one can get in. We don't want to sound proof when I, I saw, like perfect recording studio. Yeah. But you don't have sixty here, no come. Nisa size of this room. Yeah. Tim attendant here, eleven since probably nine by ten but and then it was a eight by ten so it would take up this entire room. It'd be completely pointless to put it in here. But I was was pretty cool. Yeah. Man. I need to get some rich people dreams and all it was for me. It was a dream here. I am trying to buy like the budget cabinet put on a piece of property that about for thirty cents on the dollar. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Tons Tons week. week Tough. tough. The cool thing is if you did buy something like that, you just holding the company name and you develop it. So it's a cost of the business, and then you go to sell it. You take the profit. That's a cool thing about it. Talk about cabinet on the Lam. Yeah. Or your piece of property. You have that you're questioning well, number neighbor letters out on Alrighty. So it's a maybe a little too late now. You get one by it. Well, there's only so where this piece of property is there's only two owners that own all the surrounding land. So I can't imagine that one of them doesn't want to add this to their property was twenty acres and surely, it's not the same person surely, but one of the owners the name is Nolan Ryan. I bet it could be I was the mailing address. I don't remember at this point, but I wasn't Texas. Yeah. How many Nolan Ryan, do you think are out there? I don't know. Interesting. The plot thickens out. So I mean that become cool. Maybe it's Nolan Ryan beef comes from. Well, I don't know. But yeah with an win. That'd be fun. That'd be story to tell him show. You Solbes probably Nolan Ryan. I'm big time. I mean, we did sell the Tiger Woods will not this business. Not exactly. It was tiger. Woods foundation. Yeah. That was that was pretty cool. Amazon business. I thought that was fake too. And I signed loud on, at someone had purchased three hundred and fifty of our product bodice out. They did the other about everyone that we had, and I'm looking at the receipt, and I'm like, tiger what? Yeah. You called me three times? Like I don't think this, I don't know. It went through the payment went through. So that was definitely a neat experience for us in a in a previous business. Okay. Well, I think we've run out of land stuff for today. Okay. How about, you know, think that's been a good day? Yeah. So let's keep this good going and go to Facebook, Instagram, find this Kevin Fridays REI gives like give us a follow. But it certainly has it's certainly plotline that has gotten white attention in recent months. And he he just must feel like he did something to finally get it off his back. The dude did. And after game interview he never does interviews. No, he walked out while he stopped at the press talked about how great it feels to be champion. No one makes me laugh more than other when they lost game five. He left out the players exit with his head down giving high fives, but not looking at the people just like a lot like a player who just lost his fault, he lives it, and it's hilarious. But he wants dip chips, what I love that he does what dip with his. Yes. So and now he's got it. So congratulations to candidates is the first time the NBA trophy has ever been in Canada. Yeah. Toronto. Raptors went NBA championship does sound like something back to the future to doesn't sound so good times. I've seen you tantrum before, and this was definitely com. I've super calm, extremely calm. There. I mean. I'm sorry. What nothing I thought I heard something. So. Here's the this is a strange. This is one of the strangest robbery stories I've ever seen Elliott. Sure you saw this because it happened in, in marble, Massachusetts that alert. Yeah. Near near Boston. And this is terrifying has ever happened. You where you have come home and realize that somebody has been in your home expect. Because sometimes friends, sometimes family, sometimes housekeeper you whatever you won't ever. Here, although I do have a candle that if I have had it lit and then I blow it out and leave, I come back. Mike Smith a little bit. Like really attractive man is in my home, which, I know isn't happening, but it's way Blunk, and it is the best Mellon candle. If you ever want to get how many times have you been surprised, sir? Seven, that's my maybe second Randall fair. Okay. Well, he came home from work and realize that something was amiss. I thought they had been robbed but upon further inspection. He discovered that nothing was missing. They Nate Roman and son, live in this single family home, and they left for work and came home. And my son said, dad, the doors unlocked, which every once in a blue moon. He does he didn't think anything about any walked in immediately. He realized something wrong in the house. He knew someone had been there, because door that he normally keeps was firmly shut he went upstairs to check the rest of the house. I going into his son's room. Which was a wreck when they left that morning and was now neat as a pin, he found his room in the same pristine condition and soon realized the entire house had been cleaned from top to bottom. That's awesome. Rugs were vacuumed dishes were done. Everything was neat and put away. Well, he called the police, they took the incident very rarely. They sincerely they clean the house to make sure no one was still there. No prime had happened, I guess, except for breaking and entering right? Nothing was missing was damaged. I schedule that guy to break into my house. Right. Great. He discovered roses made from the toilet paper in the bathroom. My fancy housecleaners do is they create a little flower the edge of the toilet paper, there that made him realize that this work was probably the work of professional now. What do you is going on? National broke a professional cleaner broken broken out and steal anything but clean the house. Maybe maybe it was a real cleaning services. Certainly sounds like one that just went to the wrong address in maybe he did leave the door open. Who knows? And if you know how some people have really weird kinks. This is there like a lot of people, you break in, and you leave something that type of thing. So you're like they're gonna find that right? You can see by hand women. His his kink is. Yeah, I cleaned I clean efforts. How? Going to love how clean it is. Or will get on the door and go, hey, what did you think of the job? I did would you like to hire me be cleaning person? I clean next door. I could I have forty bucks? When asked how good the job is short. If you wanna hire me, does work, by the way, I'll give any would forty by sure, anyway. Mr. Mr. Roman is hoping past the ordeal. But he did. Keep the toilet paper rose as a souvenir as. This was in Marlborough. That's right. Okay. Why are you looking into doing? Monday, Monday, talk more. Okay. So that's the that's the thing. That's, that's what happened cool. K somebody made a police report. Why? Police have nothing was missed really stretching this story. Say nothing's missing somebody gotten into his nothing's missing and he didn't know if there was somebody hiding in a closet. I think he just wanted to be sure. And it makes sense to make a police report because you don't know what's gonna end up paying what was the weather like that day. Sorry could have been a widow. Don't know window is ensure. Anything in the report about their house alarm system. Everything that I've got, actually they did have a house that was turned off there is more than. We had an actual sleuth on staff. Was also not set so cameras it would be activated with the alarm goes off. Did not get images of the intruder on the door. Sensors indicated that whoever it was stated the house for about ninety minutes, which is a very speedy cleaning job to. It's not bad. Yeah. How big was the place? Oh, good question. I'm drying out this hour and a half. I'm thinking it can't be Hugh. Bedroom top to make a living room up to scale. So if you even the wall height, I'm actually out of details. That's all I don't. I don't have anything else saying if you guys have anything else frustrating to me that you don't have delight your story, right? The hit, they check any of the neighbors houses to see people at broken in their sound effects. We could play or anything like that, or I feel like you're dodging, our questions. That's why I to be honest. That's why I got the glass shattering for my alarm, because you need to go the extra step motion, detectors, great cameras, great. But you need to hear glass, shatter. Okay. So that's what you look into zoom zoom. So she got. Did you buddy? Really? I'll still nervous about the house guys because neighbors are going to have similar issues. Down right closer window in that particular again. Right. Details. Hey guys, I hear something if we can stop talking to you. Hold on. I know what it's Kales. Everybody. Listen now. No. That's got nothing question, sir. Oh, there it is. Okay. Anything just let it play. What play beans gone? Crazy. Here in his head, I and he comes in with a five or with no detail. Not complaining about this. That's fine. Right. How dare you? I'm not the one doing it believable..

"Shop because if we ever do y'all Bob too strong. This week. Kevin friday. Everybody. We will be breaking down the Sixers big win in Philadelphia. The trailblazers big win in Portland. Ryen russillo. Will join us. We'll talk about the Celtics. We'll talk about the protests that Lakers fans are having outside the staple center, which Jalen rose will join they'll be chanting eighty one to you. But Jay, right? It is time now for me to acknowledge and give a big, thanks, a heartfelt. Thank you. And gratitude to all the mothers around the world. We always celebrate women on this show and mothers, especially both the U N. I are mama's boys raised by single mothers. So want to give a big shout to not just my mom. My stepmother, and my wife, the greatest mom I've ever met. I want to do the exact same thing to mothers and my life. And I also want to pay homage to give a big shout to my mother Jeannie Cassandra roles for inventing a name that has become commonplace in the lexicon. Like my first name so much. So I'm thinking about doing something what What do you you do doing? you do change Monday? What we could be Steve. Well, here's Lee rose. Before Louis thirteen he had to be one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve. Okay. So I gotta be Jalen the first Jalen, the first Jalen rose. I or Jalen the first road. I think should be surge. Jalen roles. You can't just give all of this. Thrones. Somebody just did that was it Paul McCartney. So we so you're gonna be Jalen rose Roman numeral one. Yes, I saw that we have to change the ancho. Now somebody like he is Jalen rose Roman numeral one. No, you don't have to say it. But it's going to be pictured on the screen. You'll ratchet the job game. Jalen and Jacoby. Jump up two strokes. Sweet. He is, sir. Jalen rose, Roman numeral one. Right. Paul mccartney. Did it nobody could Wayne? He was knighted. Upi United Jalen rose. I have to confess something. I really felt like I had a handle on what was happening the Eastern Conference between the Sixers and the raptors I feel like the rap is going to clean it up in game six they're gonna win in Philadelphia last night. Well, guess what? They did not the Sixers led from start to finish. In had a great game. Do you think the Sixers can win in game seven in Toronto? I think they can. But I don't think they will they been the worst role team in the Eastern Conference in this year's playoffs. And look no further than the previous game. They played in Toronto woulda raptors beat the brakes off of the Sixers and it wasn't even a game. I give them credit for showing up in game six and not allowing their fans to see them get beat on their home floor. Jimmy Butler was terrific. He drove the narrative on both ends of the floor. Locking down defensively shot making playmaking Tobias. Harris made a couple of shots JJ reading made a couple of shots. In the second half. And being got going Bill. Simmons was driving score in the basketball. So it was a complete team effort. But you know, the one thing I did not see other than that playwright there. Somebody slowdown koala Leonard. He's still had a big game, PASCAL Siachen..

It would probably be one. You don't do in the same. Like, I don't think it's. Yeah. You're not gathering at someone. Bring your own. A question. How are you this far into life, and you don't know Easter with you? Well, I have no memory of my childhood. So I don't know Easter last year the year before the before and the year before I'm starting to hear people talk good Friday's trading the big holiday weekend, although any holiday we can that doesn't have all the Monday day off. I think it's pretty bogus holiday weekend. But I just I was just wondering if I was missing out on something you should be Easter stuff. I should be doing. What is it take to get that Monday off? I mean, the guy came back from thank you, and we have a little rest. Only be appropriate. Thank you. Yeah. If anybody deserves Monday off, it's us. After after Easter week. May I may as well as I said there's a few linemen between he and Flannigan Hutchinson. But congrats again, the Kevin y forget again. But yeah, I I really think he should be getting in the hall of fame and just keeps being on the outside looking in unfortunate Isaac Bruce came up just short as well. I'm curious where he's going to rank because there's like you said, the receiver glut is interesting, right? And right. What what are you going to look at as something that separates him? He had the last semester was played in in Atlanta. He had the big seventy three yard touchdown catch to seal the game. He was a big part of the greatest show on turf. So those are the two I was I was. I was really I thought could go either way. And Isaac Bruce. And neither one of them got into the hall of fame. Yeah. Congratulations to class. So again, we've talked a lot about the plays that were made to win Zuber bowl. But as the Bill Belichick mantra, always is. He says this guy's most games are lost not one. Let's make sure we limit our mistakes. And let's make sure we keep ourselves in the game late with a chance to win it. And maybe the other team will crack, and that's exactly what happened Mike on Super Bowl Sunday. This was not a perfect performance by the patriots. This was not a perfect performance by the Rams, but it was still a three three game going into the fourth quarter a three nothing. I can remember one zero line kicked a field goal within the third or fourth quarter. But it was it was a one. Possession game up until the Rams made the one big mistake and essentially on second and ten Jared Goff got some pressure and produce what can only be described as a yellow throw. You only live once just toss it up there. And then, of course, defined Gilmore was able to pick it off. And it was on second down, which is the the worst part about it. Don't do that on on third down. You gotta find you. Gotta find a way to make a player fourth-down do that. Don't kill yourself on second down. And after the game Rams quarterback Jared Goff with a pretty honest assessment of how he played. I mean, you use your nominee away. We're.
