"Now. Sure. Well, I don't know that the line is a dollar a month, Charlie. I think each request or each requirement each demand, each circumstance requires its own, its own discovery, if you will. I don't think we should do a whole bunch, necessarily at one time. I think that we should do smaller tranches just for the purpose of renegotiating reassessing the not only the situation on the ground, but our NATO allies, what are they doing? Are they doing what they need to be doing? Is the money being used for the things that's supposed to be used for are the weapon systems going to the people that are supposed to go to? Is it really helping fight back communist intrusion for the cause of freedom? But in general, the reason that I support it and the reason I think Ukraine is the good guy in this fight quite honestly is if for no other reason, I do believe that Vladimir Putin is evil. I think Vladimir Putin wants to he harbors the fantasies of restoring the Soviet Union in as much in as much as he can. And that the first wave of that was Crimea, the next wave is where we are now. I don't know that he plans on stopping. I don't know why he would stop if he gets parts of Ukraine or all of Ukraine. And then it becomes obligatory after that. As you know, as a NATO leader as a NATO country, the article 5 obligates us to defend another NATO country should they be attacked. And holding back Russia's the main purpose of needle. So really the price of letting Ukraine fall to Russia to the United States taxpayer and to the cause of liberty. I think is very, very high. The other thing I would say, and this is a little bit on there that you may be on the fringe or into the future. But one thing we are seeing one benefit we're seeing that we haven't seen in a long time and that is a not just a unified Europe but a friendly or Europe to the United States. You know, when it comes to things like energy policy, food policy, trade policy, whether it's bilateral trade policies or a European U.S. trade policy. They've always sort of snubbed their noses at us. They don't want our food because they don't like the way we grow it. They don't want our energy. And yet now they need what we have. And I do think there's an opportunity for the good guys if you will, to form a stronger alliance in all the right.

Charlie, it's good to be with you. I'm sorry, it's taken so long for me to hook up, but I'm glad our schedules work today. And yeah, it's a pretty big topic to discuss for sure. And our little rectangular blank spot in the middle of the North American continent, north go to plays a role. It really does, we have a ton of North Dakota viewers and watchers and listeners. And I still do all the time. America is a freer place because of North Dakota. So senator, let me first start by asking about the story that has been popping up and you have spoken out against this, which is the Chinese Communist Party purchasing farmland right near the Grand Forks Air Force Base. It is a potentially a corn milling plant, but the majority owner is a CCP member. Can you talk about this? What is the air force leadership say about this? And I'll be very blunt. Why is the state government of North Dakota allowing this to happen? So, well, a couple of things, Charlie, first of all, with respect to your last question, that would be a better question for the governor and for the commerce department probably, but I would say this about North Dakota and you've been there a lot, as you say, and you have a lot of fans. For sure. But, you know, North Dakota is not a place that's hurting financially or economically, as you probably know. We have a very good robust, very modern agricultural community that does very well. We do a lot of value added agriculture. We know how to market our products. The commodities as well as add value to them. And we, of course, have a robust energy sector, robust technology sector, robust bio sector, we have a lot more job openings than we have jobs. So my question is, are we so desperate as to need a corn milling facility on the very northern edge of corn country? Near Grand Forks. At a time when frankly, economically, we need more people not necessarily more

"Dot com. Okay, I want to play a piece of tape here. It's remarkable. Of CNN talking about Joe Biden's collapse. And again, I'm all, I'm willing to kind of delight in the jacuzzi of the misery of the Democrats imploding. But I'm not ready to pop the champagne yet. Let's play the CNN clip. I want to make sure I get the tape number here. I think it's 24. Let's play the CNN clip, whichever one it is. Play the CNN clip. Nearly two thirds of democratic primary voters want a different nominee two thirds. If you break it down by age, 94% of democratic primary voters under the age of 30, 94% say they don't want Biden. That is a stunning number. It's a stunning number when CNN says that I still get a little bit nervous that there's something else going on here. With this right now to help unpack what has happened in the Chinese Communist Party buying up farmland in North Dakota and also time what's happening in the U.S. Senate is someone from a phenomenal state, one of my favorite states in the country, North Dakota, senator Kramer, senator welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. "Big. And in the coming days, we all remember where we were when all of a sudden Domino's started to fall. Where NBA games started to get canceled, I remember we had a turning point USA southern regional conference in Charleston, South Carolina, and I saw for the first time a worker with a mask. A number of returning to one of our team members, I said, why is that person wearing a mask? It was a four in sight and little did I know that piece of cloth over the face of that hotel worker was a harbinger for our reality to come. And I thought back to the good times at Mar-a-Lago, the otherwise bulletproof Trump agenda in 2020 that all came collapsing down. Then the lockdowns occurred. We cut off travel to China 15 days to slow the spread. Massive spending, trillions of dollars of spending to jump start the economy. Families across America were going into crisis mode saying we got to protect our family at all costs. Now we were never into the COVID paranoia on this program. We were leading the charge. Remember, schools got closed. We stood against that. People fully trusted Anthony Fauci and the orthodoxy. People that have since all of a sudden, wow, I totally was misled by them. But I'm taking you back in time for a reason. Because I'm starting to feel the very same sort of spirit of arrogance. See, inevitability of victory that I felt on that February Saturday evening. That felt like the end of the roaring 20s. I could go through the polling. It's a beyond implosion. Joe Biden is a 33% approval rating. 64% won a new candidate in 2024. He's a mockery. He's a joke. He's a punchline. It's cataclysmic. We know that. But I wouldn't be doing my job. If I was just going to tell you everything was just fine. I've lived through too much. I've seen too much in my short ten years of doing this. That's what the people on television do because they don't think deeply about things. Outside of Tucker Carlson in a couple others. The polling is incredible. Over only 1% of voters 18 to 29 strongly approve of Biden's performance. 1% of younger voters. Only 18% of voters somewhat approve younger voters. Older voters actually approve of Joe Biden more than younger voters. It's a total implosion, so is it time to start measuring for curtains and shopping for dumb perignon and what ridiculous antique glass you're going to ship the champagne in? Have we learned nothing? Over the last couple years, we have seen lie and change disruption. You're trying to tell me the very same cartel of criminals, the very same group of ruling class elites, they're going to phone it in to the midterms. When they're entire agenda, is at stake? We're just supposed to believe now that victories inevitable have we done enough to fix our elections and ban drop boxes praise God. They've done that here in Wisconsin thanks to a judge. It's amazing. It hasn't happened in Arizona, hasn't happened in Georgia. What I'm trying to say is we need to wake up call everybody because I'm afraid that some of the apathy and the arrogance, not by many of you, but by the elites by the decision makers, we're gonna win this thing. I'm telling you, do not drop our guard. I lived through that moment and it can change immediately and suddenly and rapidly. You can go to bed one night thinking you're gonna win The White House and you could wake up the next morning realizing it's all in total complete jeopardy. Biden's health and human service secretary Xavier becerra. Came out yesterday and said, well, there's a strong chance we'll see a resurgence of the virus this fall. Right before the midterm elections. Play cut 34. What I will tell you is that come the fall and winter. Most everyone who's an expert on pandemics and these viruses will tell you that strong chance that we will see a resurgence of the virus, whether it's the variants that we have now or new variants. And we got to be ready. Are we ready? Or is there an inevitability that seems to be setting in? I want your thoughts on this. Do you think we should be confident, cocky that we're going to win no matter what? Do you trust the process do you think we've done enough? Since 2020 to fix our elections, or are you like me and you're trying to say, hold on everybody, there might be something more to the story here. You guys can always email.

Charlie Takes Listeners Back in Time to February 2020
"I want to ask this question, which is, who do we think we're dealing with? Let's go back in the time machine. You kind of think back to a time when we thought we were going to win massively. I remember being at Mar-a-Lago, producer Andrew was there with me for one of the book launch parties for the maga doctrine. If my memory serves me correctly, this was in late February of 2020 and oh times were good. It's kind of the beginning of the tale of two cities. It was the best of times and yet it was the worst of times. It was the best of times because it felt like it was the best of times. It was the worst of times because we didn't quite realize what was happening under the surface. There was a subterranean risk that was emerging. You see, we were at Mar-a-Lago and hier Bolsonaro was there. It was Kimberly Guilfoyle's birthday. The good times were flowing. Tucker Carlson was there. It was a who's who of a typical winter, Saturday evening, at Mar-a-Lago. But I would say some people were there were a couple people Tucker in particular. Tucker was there actually to warn Trump. About COVID. Ahead of the curve is always saying you better take this seriously because this could end up being a massive risk to your presidency. The economy was great. We were exporting oil, the border was largely secure. We weren't involving ourselves in foreign entanglements. Our enemies feared us, our Friends respected us. Times were great. And I remember that evening at Mar-a-Lago, higher Bolsonaro was there, the birthday parties, the times were flowing. It felt like The Great Gatsby all over again. It was the roaring 20s you could say. In February of 2020, they were talking about inauguration plans for the coming January. There was a cockiness that almost permeated the air. There was an attitude that we got this. There is nothing they can throw at us. We're the incumbent president, the economy's fabulous, they're going to nominate either a socialist or a dementia filled candidate, the mainstream media was even writing stories saying Trump will be very difficult to beat. And then everything changed.

It's here and now abortion rights advocates in Texas say they are going to court. After the Republican governor signed one of the country's most restrictive bands on abortion. Yesterday, the law bars abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected. That's his earliest six weeks into her pregnancy. It can be before many women even know they are pregnant. And while the law prohibits state officials from enforcing the ban, it allows anyone who wants to file lawsuits against anyone involved in the procedure after six weeks, even someone driving a friend to a clinic to be sued. More. Let's bring in Ashley Lopez. She's a health care and politics reporter with Kut Radio in Austin, Texas. Hi, Ashley. Hey, there, so let's set the scene. This law is one of many that was pushed through in Red states. They've been blocked in many states by federal courts. The aim is to get the lot of the Supreme Court. Challenge Roe v. Wade. And just this week, the Supreme Court said it would take up another law that would ban the procedure of abortion. After 15 weeks. Roe v. Wade is generally after 24 weeks for a band when it saw the fetus could survive outside the womb. So here in Texas Ah ban after just six weeks. Tell us more about the Texas law. Yes, So the law prohibits people from getting an abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected, which, as you mentioned could be as early as about six weeks into her pregnancy. And like you said, This is before many women even know they are pregnant. And if you factor in the weight times, which are required here in the state of Texas, and the time it takes to make an appointment and arrange childcare and stuff like that. Abortion rights advocates say the law basically acts as a de facto ban on abortions in Texas. And, um, currently, there's only one exception. Um, that's the way the law was passed, with an exception for a medical emergency, but the law has no exceptions for victims of rape or incest. Okay, well, there's another component to the law that makes it unique among these laws banning procedures after six weeks. This one in Texas allows lawsuits against well, you explain against anyone who someone might perceive as being involved in the procedure, but won't allow State officials to implement the ban. Tell us more Yeah, So the mechanism for enforcing the law is really what sets Texas's law apart from other of the so called heartbeat bills instead of there being criminal penalties, which are enforced by the state, which is usually how most abortion restrictions usually work. This law leaves enforcement basically to private citizens. So in this case, anyone, including people who don't live in Texas, by the way, consume anyone who provides Procedure or helps our supports the woman in any way who ends up getting an abortion outside that time window set by the band and the civil penalties for that could be upto like $10,000. So it's a civil penalty. But it's not people turning people in, you know, for some kind of criminal action. Right, right. But still and it's so odd that there's no state officials that are allowed to implement the ban. Um, look, as we said, we've seen similar laws and other states. Get held up in the courts. We know that this one as well will have legal challenges s. So what is the sense of whether or not it will ever go into effect? Well, it's it won't be going into effect by law until September 1st. But I think the way that the penalty and enforcement side was designed was to really make it hard.

Why did President Trump not Tell his supporters to stop the attack on the capital as soon as he learned of it was impeachment manager and Maryland congressman Jamie Raskin, asking a pointed question as he completed his team's opening arguments. He and other managers pointed to former President Trump's extensive history of tacitly supporting threats and violence among supporters and Raskin drew a straight line from what happened in the state capital of Michigan. The U. S capitol. You place it was a preview of the coming insurrection. Impeachment manager Joaquin Castro says what occurred at the capital sent a damaging message to foreign adversaries. They saw that this capital could be over taken and Rhode Island Congressman David Sicily, NI says the attack has taken a heavy toll on Capitol police officers. They call them traders. Nazis. On American for protecting US. The defense team for former President Trump will present its opening arguments on Friday on Capitol Hill. Mitchell Miller W T. O P New ABC NEWS senior political director recline goes over the key points of House managers during that trial. I think the biggest argument that managers have on their side is that this was real that this happened and that this could have been far worse and the way that they documented the president's reaction real time not just the many things he's Hadn't tweeted in the days leading up to it and on January 6th itself, But the fact that he was tweeting encouragement, sending only that half hearted a statement that video statement on saying that night remember the state forever cheering them on That, to me, is just very damning evidence. If you're looking at this and again remembering that these senators, including the Republican senators, were witnesses to these crimes. Meanwhile, a group of Republican senators met with Trump's legal team before they begin to play out their rebuttal tomorrow. Multiple reports around there that the lawmakers who include Ling Seagram, Mike Lee and Ted Cruz talked with the attorneys about legal strategy of some are questioning of that's ethical since senators a technically jurors a trial, Trump's attorney, David shown, said to reporters that he thinks it's the best practice here an impeachment. It is also unclear of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will vote to acquit or convict Trump, but he's reportedly not pressing his colleagues in any direction. Hill reports. McConnell has met behind closed doors and at lunch with fellow GOP members who expressed their views on the trial. But McConnell only replied with statements about procedure and the trials timeline. McConnell has said publicly before that he wants to listen to the arguments indicating he might be on the fence. North Dakota's Kevin Cramer calls McConnell a good tactician, but he's also very respectful that every senator Got there on their own 11 34. "This'll is about a president who literally tried to end constitutional democracy in the United States. And so the Republicans wanted to everything. Some of them want to do everything to avoid the merits. This dispute, and it's up to the house today to make the case that really there's no there's no leg to stand on to avoid this. You cannot avoid this, and they should not want to avoid this because it was their mistake. Their cowardice. Senate's cowardice somewhere everyone except for Mitt Romney and those who are new to the office their cowardice a year ago in failing to remove President Trump when he showed That he was willing to do anything to get himself reelected. It's they're cowards that led to this moment and this day their cowardice, he says. The first time around. I think I think we need to be very clear here that what he's telling you is that the problem is that the first ridiculous impeachment Was unsuccessful. That's really what we're supposed to take this. That's really what we're supposed to believe. And to that, I would just say. Uh, when when do we get to ignore these people who are now just making a case for what they've been saying all along. This is just the latest version of it. When we get to tune them out, because this is all they've been saying, we need to do Here's Kevin Cramer on this one play 16 welcome to the stupidest week in the Senate. Impeachment is not something we should use flippantly as a response to her view that President Trump demean the office. She actually is no making a mockery of Congress and one of the most serious institutions and processes in our country. Frankly, it's disgusting. Impeachment is now just another another tool. Another weapon of the Democrats Arsenal for basic partisanship. That's what this is now. Impeachment for any reason, or no reason, has been normalized to borrow a term from the left. Look at what they've done. They have normalized the Democrats in the last four years. The use of impeachment for an ex. Certainly in the case of I know it's crazy to argue that what they did with the Ukraine phone calls that was anything other than Absurd joke and undermining of the entire system. Right? You know, we do live in a post 9 11 world nearly 20 years ago. You know this country came under brutal attack. This is the U. Hi. I think he learned that his governors see now at Shaffer would be there two minutes early. And Jack down, Rumble. I think on time, but he can talk a little bit first and how you're doing and you know All good people, all good people and good public servants. They are and you know this. This has probably been the most difficult thing for me through the certainly election forward is that I know. Um you know the vast majority. This audience probably rewards Senator Kevin Cramer. For the time he puts in an hour every week taking calls. We don't screen him. We don't weed people out anything comes right. And one of the things they always say thanks for coming on. Appreciate you coming on. But now those same people are calling him like Judas. I just I don't and I think it's a product of just there's so much information out there. You don't know what to believe. It's really kind of sad. It's kind of sad that we've become that remember who the enemy is. An enemy is in Iran is that is a China and some would say, You know, if if Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in these people want in America so different than me, you know we're fighting them. So technically, they're an enemy but their fellow human beings to me When you talk about a fellow human being as an enemy, you're talking somebody that's pointing a gun to your head. They're not doing that. But they're doing some very dangerous things. And I think we should fight them with every fiber of our being. But I think civility is sort of going away. I know why it is I understand it. Because these air just treacherous times I get the passion but remember who the enemy is. It's not the people that said Hey, I'll set my life upside down for you and I'll turn it all in. So don't think that about Kevin Kramer, John Holman and Kelly Armstrong. Right now, Don't or even if you don't like the latest, you know. Corona Vitus restriction and you disagree with you thinking now, now, all of a sudden people of the enemy If we do that, we're done. So we can We can just keep follow. The rules wouldn't have long cords and it's great. How are you? I'm great. I'm great. Good to see you. We've interviewed you many times in this room before in your tenure as governor the first four years. This feels very different for obviously the enormous events of the last year you talked about in that in your state of the state. Much of this legislation legislative session is touched by that. Just tell me how that all feels. Well, I certainly It's been a momentous year historic year, but it's also I think we're set up in North Dakota. We're in a position where I think our citizens can have a lot of optimism about the future on a lot of gratitude about the what's been accomplished in the last year. I mean, we're in a state that is probably better position to emerge. From this global economic crisis, uh than just about any other state in the nation. How can that be? Well, it's it is a It is incredible because, of course say that I think, California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and you're saying worse position better than any of the other 49 that sort of blows my mind. Well, I think you know there's two things. We got the balance sheet and then we got the P and L. The profit loss statement. North Korea's balance sheet is in fantastic shape. Where do you take the ER? You know, fully filled up Budget Stabilization Fund, which we haven't touched yet. The foundation Aid fund, which supports K 12, which is over $5 billion. The Legacy fund, which they'll be a lot of debate about how to use that So the balance you're doing she talking fiscal health if you're running An operation. How do we do what we could do? And how do we do a better name by yells there hobble because their numbers don't look so good. We're not exactly And what do you do with that? How do we take that position and really get to some things. We wanted to check a box on for a long time, bringing other industries in here or, you know, bringing more people in here or whatever we want to do. What's what's top on your bucket list in that regard? Well, I think we talked about this in both the budget address and in the state of the state, which is we've got an opportunity. Here without raising, you know, tax dollars. $1. We take the earnings that come off that flow off the legacy fund, and we use that at a time when we've got these historically low interest rates. I mean, the Federal Reserve is trying to drive interest rates low to restore the economy. The 10 year bond raid right now is 1.1%. I think the 20 years 1.7. I mean, we could borrow bonds for 20 year bonds and then loan them out at 2% interest, too. Municipalities, local political subdivisions, schools, water projects and in the state would actually that would be a permanent revolving loan fund that would be making money because we can fit weaken, stoke it up with a bunch of money right now. That's basically the give federal government's giving away. And so I think we have a chance to take the legacy fund and create another permanent legacy, which is this long term revolving permanent infrastructure loan fund and it gets caught up. People say, Oh, bonding borrowings bad. You know, Bar is bad If interest rates are high, and the projects you invest them in have a lower return than the than what you borrowed. If you could borrow it a low rate and invest them and something that has the higher return for taxpayers than what you borrowed the money Then you're making money every day. And so this is an opportunity that North Dakota shouldn't miss. What will be the objections to that. What will be the big fight on that? You hear a lot of talk about Probably second ride. You know, how do we use the legacy earnings? But what you know that you're going to hear arguments and that's sort of a traditional North Dakota. You know, belt suspenders kind of way of thinking. I get that you know, people don't like bonding for that very reason. It's just more debt. But as you say it's dead it low beyond that will be the biggest objections. Well, I think the biggest one will be some kind of resistance to the idea of borrowing itself because there it is a completely conservative, fiscally conservative economic sound. Idea right now in these in frustrate environments, and, you know, I mean, there's times when it wouldn't make sense in their time when it does, just like when there's anybody that's been in business. Those timing matters. And we've got a We have a window of opportunity here to do something really incredible and permanent. For the citizens of North Dakota. Give me an example. The top two things. You think if that was available, and it was here, when the most important to do that would get the return you're talking about? Well, I think you know, One of things we know is Across the state. We've got hundreds and hundreds of bridges in North Dakota that are in disrepair. When you've got those bridges and disrepair, you gotta lower the light load limits farm to market roads Get longer take citizens more time..

Make it a priority in 2021 back with Senator Kevin Cramer. First order of business, Dennis on the road. Did you get your answer regarding the veto on override? Got educational. There's one more point on the bill. I'd like to talk about it. My good. Go ahead, please. Real quick. Used to read a means of the Confederate bases like brag and all that. Mm hmm. We gotta quit losing our history. Because when we lose our history, that's when you get people like, uh, Black lives matter. That's when they get to take over an issue because nobody knew where we came from where we are today. The only thing they hear is what They're trying to sell. So if I understand correctly before Kevin answers You think that's a hill to Diane for the entire National Defense Authorization Act, and that's obviously why the president veto this. Any warned that he would veto it because of that, so he was very transparent, he said. I'm going to be doing if you don't fix it. So is that a hill to die on it? I'm not saying die on the hill for it. But I am saying they put it in. They could take it out. Just Azizi and yeah, and, you know, I'm getting tired of these Democrats jumping up and they just get to do whatever they want to do when they want to do it. And now they're messing with the history of our country. And I don't think Kevin arrived would disagree with you. More importantly, Kevin wouldn't didn't matter what I think, Dennis, but to it to his question, why did that survive in the bill when everybody knew it could be a potential veto? Well because overwhelming support for the D a. It supersedes all that remembering. So Dennis makes an important point says Why did Democrats get everything they want? If Democrats got everything they want in this bill? We wouldn't have 150 missile sites in my not We would not have three legs of the nuclear triad would have to, and that's not an insignificant matter, not just North Korea, but it's not insignificant to this defense of this country and the cause of freedom around the world. The deterrent of those ground based missiles are used. That's just one example of Democrats not getting what they want. So in exchange for them, not getting anything. They want to get some things that they do want And in a divided government. You have to give them something. The reason this was not worth dying on. Dennis is that this is a three year commission. If you're buying this one in January, 20th he can rename those on January 21st without anybody having a single thing to say about it. Republican Democrats anybody else and with regard to the changing history, remember that Names change in military bases. This is it's not the first time names will will be changed if any of them are after the three years and they will be. I mean, some of them have to be particularly the bases themselves. But it doesn't erase the history ever make you might erase the name of that particular base. I think part of it is we do don't equate this to the tearing down of statues and and things like that, although that it is part of the same larger political correctness argument. But the Confederacy was the enemy of the United States government. And and it was Southern Democrats that named these bases after Confederate soldiers so as to sort of maintain, you know that this legitimacy and even Abraham Lincoln VOCs, the first Republican president, and I think the Grace President American history Um, did say, with malice toward none and charity for all he wanted to lift up Confederate Um, heroes in the sense that at least give them their heroes, so that that would be part of the healing of the wounds. Our wounds now are are very different in this times time frame, and I do think personally, I don't have a big problem. I'm not a Southerner, so it's not my issue. Um, I don't have a big problem with changing some of these names. If that's you know, if that's what people need to do. As you know, Republican governors in the South have been changing their flags in out of respect for Um, you know, people today versus a timeframe earlier, so things didn't change. But in 30 in 30, seconds or less in your heart of hearts, you believe everything good that you busted your butt forward in the National Defense Authorization Act. Lion share of that work way better for North Dakota way better for our national security than anything that you would agree on. You know, Confederate flags were based, renaming or whatever. We don't like about that bill. First over. Sure, not even a quote. I mean, starting with the pay raise for our military men and women, which, prior to Donald Trump. They weren't getting these big pay raises And I say Big. I'm talking about 3%, but constantly mean adjustments every year. So studying with that, and then I could go through a list of at least 10 things that I specifically fought for Andhra. Lot of it has to do with actually cyber security and modernization. China the threat of China, the threat of Russia, the threat of Iran and North Korea. And some of that, even you know, goes back to some of the other areas of the budget there concerning to a lot of people and that is in the foreign aid spectrum that the president has requested and got so too quickly after no questions that I'm gonna go to next fall if he asked, you know That Really? What I'm trying to get at is I hear you saying if we fought till the death to make sure they couldn't change the names of these bases.

Why a private section of the border wall is allegedly failing
"By Iraq war veteran Bryan Cole Fatchett, triple amputee. They wanted to raise a billion dollars to quote build Trump's wall. The targeted mission Texas in the Rio Grande Valley, one of the busiest illegal border crossing areas in the country, all on the border. We're here building. You gotta help out. They had started producing the video's promoting this project and they were on the property. They started clearing the property before anyone really knew what was going on The company Clearing the riverbank to build the private wall was Fisher Sand and Gravel. Tommy Fisher, the company's CEO, had been trying and failing to land a lucrative border wall contract from the government. Since 2017. When the Trump administration began soliciting Wall design concepts. Fisher was one of the companies to put up a prototype. Officials of the Department of Homeland Security said it had design flaws. A second bid was also rejected. Frustrated Tommy Fisher took another approach. We really believe with our patent pending system, we could bring sexy. Back to construction. He became a fixture on Fox News, the president's favorite network at the time, people time sounding less like a contractor and more like a contestant on a reality show pandering to an audience of one, You know, hopefully the president will see this as well. And he's a guy who says he can cut through bureaucracy two weeks after that appearance on Fox In April of 2019. I don't know if you heard about this contractor that said he could build the whole wall for a lot cheaper than anybody else. Yes, I have. We're dealing with him. Actually, Fisher Comes from North Dakota. Recommended strongly by a great new senator. As you know, Kevin Cramer, by May of 2019 Tommy Fisher had the president's attention but still couldn't land a contract to build the government's wall. The Army Corps of Engineers, which oversees border wall construction, pointed to the company's lack of experience building border walls to prove they could fissure teamed up with we build the wall. First in New Mexico and later here on the banks of the Rio Grande admission. On the banks of any rivers difficult. But building on the raging Rio Grande is especially challenging, made more complicated because the U. S Mexico border but straight down the middle of it. So any plans to build on it must be approved by the International boundary and Water Commission for I, B. W C. Sand and gravel didn't get that approval before they started. Bulldozes. What steps did they skip? All of them. What should they have done? They should have gone to the I B W c to the A and presented their plan an actual plan. What about this idea that you know this is private money being used on private land and a landowner could do whatever he wants. They absolutely can do whatever they want on their property. As long as it doesn't affect other people's property. And you think the wall infringes on other clearly does. The way the bollards were built is gonna cause clogging of that wall, So those followed the trash or debris could get stuck in there and then the waters. It's a giant break, just like a rake in your yard. It's going to catch all that debris and redirect that water. Penna filed a lawsuit on behalf of a neighboring wildlife refuge called the National Butterfly Center, which feared the wall would cause flooding to its property. U. S government also suit on behalf of the I. B. W C. Good walls make good neighbours. But this wall did not. We've got rogue priest running around anti Trump anti Won't we build the walls? Bryan Cole fragile, launched attacks against anyone who opposed their wall. Falsely saying the national Butterfly Centre was the site of a rampant sex trade and that the Army Corps of Engineers was part of the deep state even took game and Father Royce Nights a local priest to oppose the Trump wall. Accusing him of promoting child trafficking. Also not true. We build the wall people came after you personally and that's something I didn't even know who they were. They're coming after the local priest. Yeah, I guess you're not from around here comes from around here. We can. Even Mom and Dad can disagree about things without being mean and nasty. Last December, Brian Colfax bragged in an interview that we build the wall had a direct line to the White House. We have Crispo back and Steve Bannon A lot of people that are tied in with the Trump administration, so we're able to back channel things to the Trump Administration and let them know what we're doing, But what they were doing was falling apart. A recent engineering inspection after summer storms revealed deep gashes under the foundation of the wall. That's Mariana Trevino, right, who runs the Butterfly center line underneath it. This was a normal seasonal rainfall and what happened to the wall the foundation washed out from under enormous sections of it, His attorney said after this, that this is just a normal part of new construction if you walked out of your new house And had a 30 FT hole under your home foundation. Would you consider that normal? There's the end of the hall right

Senators Joe Manchin, Kevin Cramer respond to Trump's comments on transfer of power
"Voting, whether in person and expanded absentee ballots. President Trump continues to make claims that there will be widespread fraud and would not commit when asked by reporters yesterday if he would ensure a peaceful transfer of power if he loses today, reaction from lawmakers, Republican Senator Kevin Kramer, asked about Trump's comments suggested the real concern is about peace of the pole. There will be an orderly transition. I don't think there's any question Both Democratic Senator Joe Manchin, who has at times voted with Republicans on certain measures, criticized the president's remarks and attempts to sow doubt in the process. Here's a person that basically wants total Authoritarians. He wants autocracy. It's not who we are a steady stream of
