"1020. OK, this is well preserved with Eunice. Cory live in the studio with me today I have a guest from Arkansas. Arkansas law enforcement. That would be Joe Green. But it is time to play tag the Tahoe and we have Danita on the line. Good morning. Don Ada. Good morning. Do you know how to play tag the Tahoe? No, ma'am, I well, what I've heard is you see the Tahoe? You tag it. You call it in. Okay. Well, you got you got the game, right? So girlfriend of where did you see the Tahoe? Yesterday at 2 30 Office Depot. Oh, wow. And would you by any chance know who the sponsor the week ISS? Ah Spanish Cove Retirement Village. You know what happened to you? You just won some money, but I have to ask you. Are you a law enforcement first responder teacher. Or no, ma'am, I am a caregiver him. Yes, ma'am. I'm a med aid and I take care of five elderly people Monday, deciding will bless your heart. We just added 50 backs. To your tag the Tahoe today? How about that? That's amazing. Thank thank you for giving out into the community. And, yeah, we stop by office Depot. I believe Carolyn Myss over there three times yesterday, Donatas stating. We have an amazing program today and we love our caregivers out there so Magainin needs to get some information for you. And I'm writing down here. You can't see it, but I am reminding myself. You just got an extra 50. We appreciate our character said the community. Okay. Thank you. Yeah, you thank you for listening. Live in the studio. I have Joe Green. Joe is a certified law enforcement officer. He is the public information officer from Arkansas and Joe. Thank you so much for coming over here. We have a pretty state to an Oklahoma. Definitely. And I appreciate the invitation. Yeah, well, today line Force Mint, the culture has changed a lot. Dramatically in the last year, and I've observed our law enforcement having to, you know, make some different changes with us. So lost some of our law enforcement. Would you like to speak to that? Yeah. I always do that. I want to recognize and pay respect to the officers that we've lost in the line of duty Just so far this year, we've lost 218 officers. In the line of duty and just recently in the state of Arkansas and Pine Bluff. A few days ago, Detective Kevin Collins was shot and killed. And he is actually having his funeral service today. So I want to pay respect to him and his family and the plan. Both Pablo Police police department. Yes, ma'am. And also, you know, Oklahoma has had three line of duty deaths this year also, just like Arkansas. So we respect that, and I want them to be recognized for There. Her dedication and their ultimate sacrifice. Will and I tell people, you know, we need a reminder every once in a while. You know, when you sign up to go in the military, are you sign up to go into law Enforcement party? Your contract is you'll give it all And that means you may not come home at night. And a lot of those people, Kevin, he probably has a family. So you know, I look at both sides of the story, and unfortunately, sometimes the media Not here on Katie. Okay, but sometimes the media spends it too. Like You're the bad guy. You're doing all this stuff wrong And you shouldn't do that. And you and I both know we'll have jerks in our life. But you shouldn't take the ride for one person. Doing something that's they're not supposed to do. That's right. And In the case of Detective Collins. We actually have his cousin who was just recently hired by our agency. In North Elrond. Okay, so he's you know, were impacted by it. Just as much as Palm Bluff is because we have one of our own right is going to that funeral representing his family family today, and you know that could take a jar, a new officer, especially one that's just in the academy. To see his cousin get shot and killed in the line of duty and What we've learned from Officer Jerry Collins will soon be an officer. Once he graduates he account academy is that it's driven his desire to be a police officer. Even more. My hat's off to him because we all have a mission in life. And when I watch our law enforcement here in Oklahoma are Oklahoma City Police Department, Our county Sheriff's department. I have the greatest respect for them. Because I know how hard they're working. I hear Kim Lopez. Corporal Kim Lopez. Her job is to work with seniors and make sure that they're aware of the scams because if you're over 55 you seem to have a target on your back because she maybe have money in the bank and You know, people may perceive that you're not the brightest leaf on the tree, so she has a mission to protect those people. So every time I see a black and white or a blue and white car roll around I think Wow. I don't know if I could walk in your shoes. It's getting tougher and tougher each day, But, you know, like you talked about in the beginning, the oath that we swear as police officers is We take it seriously and we do it and, ah We respect the oath. I respect the people that we serve in the citizens in the community that we serve, and we give everything that we've got, whether it be a senior citizen or a young event. We're going to do everything we can to help and serve. Well, you know, I brag about Justin Nichols on my radio Show a lot. He's an Oklahoma City police officer and I had him on a couple of months ago, and we talked about the pals program. Because a lot of the problems in our community is maybe young kids that don't have two parents. So They go find their own friends, their on the straight and that is not good. And just in his worked really, really hard with the palace program, and I know that in Arkansas Police Department. They're also has a palace program. So what isthe pals powers the Police Athletic league and we have a great office. Officer. Hunter is his name. He's our pal director. And he is extremely aggressive in the community by getting out in outreach programs. Hey, teaches life lessons to the kids hate goes out the everywhere elementary school any hosts. He calls him. What does he call them? Uh, has a special name Dylan. Especially. Hey, He's a deejay also. So that's OK. So that's what he does. He goes out there in place music for all the kids during recess and, you know, shakes and hugs gets kissed, you know? Get something, and that's how you build relationships in the community is you start there with the young kids, and hopefully that leads into the middle school high school and then hopefully as adults, they still respect law enforcement. Well, it ISS. It is an environmental issue, not an environment. It's a cultural issue, because unfortunately, a lot of those kids maybe they know who their mom is. Am a clue where their dad is. And I know that every kid out there wants a mom and dad. And if they don't have one, they'll do the replacement. They'll bring somebody in their lives. So the Powells program here in Oklahoma City in Arkansas and a lot of other police departments. Is working on that match. And if you need information on that here locally, you call our Oklahoma City Police department and inquire about that, especially if you got a kid in your neighborhood. His neighbors Kim Lopez, her tip today was no. Your neighbor, You know, know your neighbor. So those of us in our neighborhoods we see those kids walking around aimlessly. There are some Pretty terrific programs. I know I've donated to the cleats program every year because vice football shoes for kids, Okay? And I figure fighting afford a couple of football shoes. You know, That'll help a kid at and I'm glad to do it. That's great. Time. You talked about? Jerry Collins, he said new officer while he's going through the academy and Arkansas to be a police officer today, he's going to the funeral of his cousin. Brand new brand new on the force. Hell. Count. Difficulty, is it? To talk to people. That may be a future in law enforcement, but it's getting tougher and tougher each day, you know their this is probably probably the hardest time. To recruit and retain law force ministers. Just because of the culture that we're living in. We're being villainized. We're being attacked for being In some cities were being held down by a leadership that doesn't want their law enforcement actually get out there and be proactive and being police officers. But thank goodness in in the city that I work in and in the community that I work in. We have the support of the police chief. Chase. You're Austin. We have the support of our mayor Joe Smith..

Fiduciary that would would watch that money until he turns eighteen just in case north calls you home before he's eighteen so that would be that would be the option there to make sure that it stays out of the hands of somebody that that would do the wrong thing. Right. Okay. Well, I appreciate your information. Your health. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thank you. Jim. I'm glad you called. Let me go to Kevin Kevin Collins from Texas. Hey, kevin. Hello, dan. How are you? I'll tell you my wife meeting you the rate now all. Oh, great. No, you covered this before. But now it affects me, but I haven't bowled oral one. The previous employer about start one with my new employer. You'll have it sitting in Nain bold account. Your recommendations, sir. Do I move that into one one? Do I look at another vehicle to how old are you? Kevin. You're right on that borderline. I would I would probably move it into an IRA account that you manage. That that you have definitely get it out of where it is. Because you need to have options. And I I would roll that into. And now if you roll it into traditional IRA, that's fine. No big. If you roll it into a Roth IRA, of course, there would be not penalties that would be taxes on it. But I would roll that out to a brokerage account. And where you have some options you can put it into. You know, anything you want and watch it and manage it. And you can maybe ask them if that can be put into you want to roll it into a contributory IRA. So you even have options to contribute to from time to time. And that would be the best the best of all worlds. Okay. Well, would that be they need to count? I I've done that already. But also have a Timothy plan. I have. My wife, and I have to traditional IRA. You could roll it into that's ridiculous at Timothy good role at all into that. If you want and continue to contribute. So you already have that open or you know, if you roll it into a traditional at each raid. It would give you the options to both ad Timothy and Timothy ETF and any other stocks you might want to do. So might give you a little more option by using the trade account since since you're familiar with that. Okay. Aren't sir? Thank you so much have a great day and have a great weekend. You're welcome fact, you Kevin God bless. Let's see let me go to rob rob from Texas as well. Hey, rod. Hello. Yes. Sir. Dan. I have. The material.

I I was doing that for I can do a drop down leapfrog hip toss. Like, dude as good as anybody. Right. So eventually it becomes like to stay sane. You're in that warehouse every day, which is fine. But it's like you're getting paid to practice, but I just have fun with him. Be silly. Sometimes I just got yelled at all the time. But how could you not have? Drains talking with with Kevin and with Sammy and all the guys that have been down there. You know, Shinsegei guys like Finn that were like headlining, you know, shows here and then go to exceed and just be doing barrel. Rolls from corner to corner. It's kind of like what the helmet doing. And I think it was part of like the growing pains of like changing from I think they I don't think it's like that anymore. I don't think that like Adam Cole's just in there right now doing somersaults. Gotcha. I think comes in lifts weights watches taper like, Shawn Michaels. And then does the shows in Florida, and that would be bad as for a while? They're just felt like man everybody was all these guys were coming in that, you know, the guys like Sammy's AIn paw. Kevin Collins, and I was already friends with like Ambrose Zara. And do they all had that thing that I didn't have? And that was like not coming here as a twenty one year old green kid who I didn't even know how to wrestle really when I went to CW really signed. That was when I was twenty one. I got signed. And how I did a I was wrestling Lenny lane up in Minnesota Lenny lay you stole my love rewards. He's best still working. I don't think he works too much anymore last. I heard he was like helping out like troubled youth. Okay. Kids in here. He's awesome. And so it was like the first this was like the first guy that I ever really wrestled like twenty minute match. Like listen to me kid, and I'll get you train with him. No. I didn't I trained a guy named truth. Martini you've probably or each. But I. Yeah. So I trained, but this is just a random indie that I I met a guy in Milwaukee brought me over to Minnesota and Lenny Lenny at the time. They were only signing guys that were like they were signing guys were like twenty one. No wrestling experience six to handsome like. Did you play football? Good. All right. Can be tight brother. But I don't like I don't know took a lot of heat for Reimer making fun of Brady's kid. It's like well, Alex rumors in adult like how is that my fault? So it gets back to I guess sort of the question that I I mean, it sounds like you disagree. I don't mind that. No, no. I I think there's a larger discussion to have right because I do think while individuals make their own judgment in term. And certainly listen we all should be against harassment course, individuals make their own judgment on that harassment. The question is is that when you have a powerful voice like yours. You can't you you can lead people to doing stuff that you personally would not do. Right. And I do think there is in your position a little bit of if nothing else, I put it this way. I think there's a responsibility on your end. If you find out that someone's being haram question, they're doing it on behalf doing it on behalf of you. You gotta tell him to stop. That's even if even if you are not doing the harass sure where I would still, but I do. Yes. I'd have to see specific ones. I'm sure she she got some. But if people are tweeting, it not necessarily Charlotte wilder, but whomever and saying, you know, you gotta do a better job. I can't believe you wrote. This. I can't believe you lied about this. I'm fine with that. Like, if you write something, and you know, you didn't tell the truth you did a lousy job. You gotta own it. But yeah. Like, I said do I want people beating them down in dumping all over them? No. I think that's that's counterproductive. But you know, but I I would say in the Kevin Collins situation. You know, we we actually did a good thing. We expose somebody. Who was so it's sort of a different different situation where I agree. I think you expose someone who has fabricating. There's no question about that. Right. And I think or maybe if not fabricating the word would be exaggerating. I think it really would depend on your definition. The Wall Street Journal broke that same story or the New York Times book that same story or somebody else broke that same story. He lost his job, you know. But since I did it in our state, you know, give them the relationship with the globe. He decided that you know, you saw happen the Houston chronicle this week. Do whatever you have to do block them. Those people suck. I hate those people as much as we have people tweeting. They wish I kill myself. So I mean, you know this. I that part I get, but there has to be some point we have to say I have to own some of it in some of just have to ignore these are people. These are these are losers on Twitter. "That year you know if we take a very very liberal generous recovery time at twelve months he comes back in january february and so you already that's like three months of the season as already gone by but no you do it because as i said before he got hurt they were really getting into a rhythm and you can't really say well you know miratec wasn't playing well with cousins was out there and then went out he said baller because he wasn't there they got them after cousins got hurt so why wouldn't you wanna see what this lineup looks like with both of those guys out there healthy but again it's going to take a while for cousins probably get back into the swing of things it it to me it's it's a no brainer you can't replace that talent if you let them walk you might as well keep them unless it comes at the expense of a longterm investment that could backfire on your obviously yeah it seems like a no brainer but it is worth noting that there was a pretty good article on the ringer by kevin collins i think okay sorry kevin o'connor on yet the big boogie question talking about how of course it seemed like they were even better with him but they play at a much better pace with cousins off the floor and that before he got hurt they outscored teams by five point six per one hundred possessions with davis and rondo on the floor without cousins compared to being outscored two two sorry outscored five point one per one hundred when he was on the floor so you know it's hard to look at on off on the floor data it's not always true but certainly some interesting arguments for how the team plays differently without boogie i don't know if it's enough of an argument to say that they'd be better without him entirely though greg asked a mean what changes will the blazers make this off season this of course related since the pelicans went ahead and swept them we gotta clean up their books when you look at evan turner meyers leonard and to lesser extent mohawk list because he played very well for them forgetting hurt this year that's a lot of money tied up into guys as we saw didn't help you a whole hell of a lot.
