"You're here for some spotting them. What's going on? What's happening Just laughing on my way into work this morning because Rob Kendall was getting raped. Over the coals by the sports Talk station upstairs. Is that right? Did you guys did you talk about this? I did not know that. No, No, it was they Rickard and Big Joe. Totally besmirched the good name of Rob Kendall. It was hilarious. Can I have a place to live it on my phone, please. I would love to hear them say no more right there. I don't think I get that. Rob Rob candles open already talked about the Masters dangling. Rob Kendall doesn't know what he's talking about. See the backstory is Robson. Rob said the U. S Open, which is taking place this weekend is more popular than the Masters with the player. Yeah, I said, it means more to the players to win the US Open. Then the master and you take a poll. How do we do this? There was Kevin Bowen from the fans and Rod Kendall doesn't know what he's talking about. All three of them record big, just days in the AC and Kevin born or jest and slamming him for that tape and and Kevin Bowen's dismissing father's Day and dismissing the country and happened Like Has this ever been asked of the players. I feel like this should be an easy to prove argument. No, I don't know if there's ever been a scientific poll. I just I mean, look there just without a doubt. A player by the winning Your Nations Championship. It's 100. What 121 years old. Now it's your national championship. It's the biggest golf tournament in the world. I guarantee it means more to the players in the master lock. Rob was vindicated. After the the three minute tongue lashing he took on the sport's station, Dan Dockage tweeted in talking. I'll be talking to the coach later on the South. Yeah, he tweeted in and said that Rob is right, he said. You know, I've talked Players, professional golfers and said the U. "Seat your thoughts on it. I really hope it's the guy, but we've been down this road before. I just hope so much for the family's sake that they could find somebody that either confesses to this or they can connect the dots to it. Because I know the family. They can say that you know they've made peace. They can say that they moved on. But deep down inside, they want closure, like any family work right? And there's been a couple different times where we thought this has to be it. There was a guy in Colorado who was busted, walking around like railroad tracks that had a history of Violence. Thought that was the guy turned out not to be it. He had ties. The Indiana turned out not to be it. This is another one. Now. The other day we had the sister. Of one of the victims. I believe this was Libby's sister came out and said, Please stop sharing your conspiracy theories online because it's not helping anybody. It kind of brings one more pain to the family and two if you do share your side by side pictures, one of this person is still out there. They're going to see this and social media and get out of dodge. Send it to the police. But keep it offline. You lose track of because it would there got so much publicity. And all these national networks have done stories on it that these were real people. These are real families. And if you're doing things that aren't helping them get closure and justice. Don't do it right. And what's so crazy about this story is that it's not like this happened in Indianapolis, where there's a million people, right? Delphi is kind of a smaller town near a larger town of Lafayette. But this was a community where that kind of stuff They'll be the last place in the world. You think something like this? What happened? And if it did? It shouldn't be that hard to find the perpetrator. Because in these small towns, I mean, if you've ever been on Facebook in these town, a Facebook pages, you know small towns, people talk people get into this kind of stuff and for this still to be an open case. It's heartbreaking. I hope there's a lead here with this guy in Lafayette. I'm not getting my hopes up. But if it is that be fantastic. And you again you followed this way, way more close than than than I have, and probably almost more than than anybody in media has been. I just haven't been really impressed with the way law enforcement has handled this investigation. Well, there comes a point to where you have to ask yourself. Is this a cold case or should we release more information? Now There's they've never said that. It was a cold case. They've always said tips are coming in, but Let's be honest. It's been what four years now, Um, I know for a fact. There's a lot more information that was recovered at the scene and on the cell phone where we originally got the down the Hill Audio and the picture of this. I also know that it's pretty gruesome. What's On that phone. So the problem you encounter is, do you Take this awful footage and put it out there just a little bit more in hopes of finding the guy that did it. Or does that just break the heart of the family of the victims? Yeah, because it's some point, you know, because they would say, Well, we want to hold things back so that if we get the person we know what interrogate him in science center, and I understand that, but it's like man after four years, this doesn't appear to be working. Right, And it's really tough because The information from what I've been told on that phone is pretty awful on do you don't want to release information to the media that features little girl screaming. Nobody wants to hear that The family doesn't want to hear that. But at the same time, if there's something else you can put out there. Maybe you could edit it. Do something Production wise. To make it so we've got more. I'm in favor of that. It's coming up this afternoon. It's bring the heat Thursday. We got a lot of stuff going on. Rob, you are going to come by and go off the rails. "Retires. And then you've got Matthew Stafford supposedly in a deal with Los Angeles Rams because he really likes paying taxes. Tony Katz 93. W I. B C Good Morning. So what's The plan. Let's bring in Kevin Bowen from one of 75 the fan, one of 75 the fan dot com. You've got the article about what the options are, but before anything What this deal. Stafford likes this deal, or it was just the Rams are willing to give up so much that how could the Detroit Lions say No. And Stafford doesn't have a choice? Yeah, I mean, definitely more Ram than I do Think Matthew Stafford wanted and was intrigued by being in Los Angeles. Um I think his family wanted to go there. But again he was under contract. So the Lions had execute this deal on their own, and and it was impressive trade package. We got two first round picks. And potentially starting quarterback. They got Jared Goff back. He does carry a big cap it but at the same time he is only 25 years old and lives to GM comes from the ram. So it's very two different sides of thinking here. Tony, the Rams are all lead when now. The lines are looking much more towards a rebuilt I'm looking at your article over at 175 the fan dot com What the options are for the Colts a quarterback, but before we get into that list, what we're saying is, there's no way we're keeping Jacoby percent, and there is no faith that Easton, who we picked up in the last draft could be the start of this year. Correct what service eats and Chris Ballard isn't even sure if he's comfortable on him being the backup, and this was before Philip Rivers decided to retire. So you know that's against the first order of business there because Ethan is under contract. Whoever set the free agent we talked Jimmer stay for about an hour last week and then an hour, Jimmerson says that lot. He did not bring up the name to Kobe percent. One time he started 30 games to this franchise. No, you're in a weird situation right now. He knows the offense. But is anyone else but in no way, shape or form Do I think this is a window team and Jacoby Percent could be your starter. Your list. Includes a free agents and potential trade options in the free agent category, talking to Kevin Bowen from one of 75 the fan about who's going to be the quarterback for the Colts. You have Andy Dalton and Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cam Newton and Dak Prescott. By the way, Prescott in Dalton, both of the Cowboys mixture Boesky, Jamison and Jamis, Winston, and I think all those choices a crap and I love Fitzpatrick. I would adore fits Magic in Indianapolis. But none of these are good options for the Colts, are they? No, not at all. It's such a bleak list and again realistic option that Prescott is probably going to go back to Dallas anyways, and he would be the best name. On that list. So welcome to quarterback Purgatory and Antonio. I've said this often when you're in quarterback purgatory, its quarterback Hell when you don't know the answer, it is hell in today's NFL. And as a colt, you know, beat writer as a fan as someone that lived in this market for the last, you know, for my entire life. We're not deuce to this. You know, since the big nineties, the coast of really known who their starting quarterback is going to be or haven't had to think. Too hard about that decision, And now this is this is the reality at your end. So again, I posted those free agent names and posted those trade names. None of them are very ideal. You also got to think towards the draft, and if I were crisp out, I've been looking long and hard at that list. Then you've got the potential trade options, which include Teddy Bridgewater. Derek Carr of the Raiders. Sam Donaldson, the Jets Nick Foles, also with the Bears Jimmy Garoppolo, who made the big move Tol West Coast from the Patriots, Matt Ryan and the Falcons to Shawn Watson and Carson Wentz. Although there are some names and their of guys who can clearly play and some guys, so I think if they were in the right situation they could play like Sam Donald again. Man, Uh, except for Derek Carr, who I think could be a cult sky. There's no one here that that moves the needle is there. No, I don't think anyone that moves it to the degree that Stafford would have. I thought Stafford gave you a chance to potentially make a run in January. Now, you know, we obviously look in Kansas City in Buffalo, and there goes two teams are going anywhere. But The rest that group home with you actually think their car could make sense. But again, the Raiders have not floated their car out there Now. They haven't made the playoffs and last three years, so you never know with the Raiders, but still it's not like his name is on the trade market. Obviously, Carson went to the front brake. Connection played in N V P level, But you're gonna have to resurrect a big time career there and take on a pretty big contract because let's play terrible last season, Sam Donaldson, you know former top five pick Get him out of the New York market and just the dysfunction of the Jets. Is there something there? There is a level of risk that you'd be taking with all of these moves there. So again no one offers. You think ideal situation. I know the draft is difficult. That is the route that I would explore. So there's I don't know all the players in the draft and we'll get into that another time. But before I let you go Kevin Bowen from one of 75 the fan dot com You take a look at this list that you've put together and you realize My gosh. Maybe asking Andrew luck to come out of retirement isn't the craziest thing I ever heard. No, You are right. And your Jimmer say, um It's like talking, you know, uh, thinking about your ex, When was how we talked about is your luck so they have definitely, you know, thrown out the hay and Drew, are you? How are you enjoying Dad likes, but they definitely tried to make sure that The conversation doesn't go very far past that he knows what they think of him again. It's not a pestering annoyance by any means, but I don't expect and you love to be coming back. He does have one more year. Under team control. Jimerson spoke last week about okay, You know, it doesn't do the Michael Jordan, blah, blah, blah again. It's a lot of Jim just kind of being a hopeless Go to romantic with it all. I do not expect Andrew luck to shock the world and un retired that is Kevin Belen from one of 75 the fan dot com We will Be following this as it goes, Kevin. Thank you. I appreciate it..

"Certainly we're keeping an eye on all the events unfolding with the inauguration, also the state of the state. Much more coverage coming up here on the hammer and Nigel Show other breaking news, especially if your Colts fan Philip Rivers iconic, legendary quarterback as spent one season with the entire with the Indianapolis Colts, is decided to call it quits. Kevin Bowen covers the Colts in his host on one of 75 the fan, Our sister sports talk station. Keep s O s. So I woke up to the news this morning that rivers is retiring. I consider you an insider. You have contacts. You worked within the walls of the court's Colts Organization for number of years. How did you first find out that that rivers wasn't coming back? 29. I think when you know me and hammer talked about a month and a half ago, I thought OK about 80 90% Chance. Philip Rivers returns and then you know, as December started to move along, and even we got into January that really became almost a coin flip to me. Again, Rivers his own decision. You know, I was like, Oh, boy, I don't know if this was gonna be something that he definitely 100% wants to do for another season. Um, late last night, I I heard from someone that this is going to happen. Unfortunately, just Did not get that second confirmation on it. But having said that I'm still a bit surprised. To be honest with you. I thought his competitive streak his passion for the game. The fact that there's not some crazy physical injury involved again. Yeah, he had the toe issue this year, but Burstyn talk that might have a need surgery. I just thought that would win out and how that season ended in Buffalo being so close to beating the bills. I thought you would return and always moving, you know, Secondly, for a third time in less than a year, which that's just a small army of people that he's moving, you've got nine kids, so I just thought all those factors he would play one more season and kind of delay being a high school football coach. So tell me is that the way it works with sports journalist to sports writer you had And initial confirmation last night, But you but the way it works is you have to wait for your policy is I'm gonna have to sources on this before I hit social media with it. That's what kind of the way it works with you. Yeah. You know, I could probably get away with one, you know, And maybe mother medium, but something this magnitude, you know, I really wanted to make sure like I'm not necessarily in the breaking news business. You know, I'm more of Ah, analyzer if you will of this information, and you wanna be right before you first, for sure, for sure. And so, you know, I averaged out to someone I thought close to the rivers family, someone close to the Colts organization, and when I got crickets, I probably should have known then that this was happening, but it was kind of cool. Philip broke the story. The UM San Diego's equivalent to Mike Chapel. So my chapels cover the culture of 30. Some years. I heard you guys to him this morning. Uh, the old Chargers beat writer Kevin A. C is his name. That's who. That's who broke the story. And you know it wasn't some mega Adam Schefter in rapid ports and mega NFL reporter. It was just kind of a local guy that to get that goes to show you who felt forever says extremely loyal and extremely dunder. Kevin Bowman covers the Colts for one of 75 the fan. Okay, let me go back to this one Looks circle right back around like I was kind of surprised that you said you were surprised. By Philip Rivers retiring. I always thought and I think you mentioned is I thought it was. I mean, 50 50. This guy had a great season with Indianapolis and I thought, Well, he's getting up there in age. It wouldn't surprise me at all. But you were kind of surprised. Yeah, you know, it's kind of two fold one and think of Sando decided to retire last week. That kind of brought me back to the drawing board of like, Okay. How about Philip Rivers view that like the offense of line protection without standing last year now the culture scrambling on who that new left tackle's gonna be? Rhetoric just suffered a toe injury. Okay, Is that going to alter his thinking in a way, But I brought the high school football coaching job, which is what rivers we're going to do next down in Alabama because he's always wanted to coach his son's. High school football. His father did that to him. And so his oldest son, Gunner is on Lee in seventh grade, So I felt like, okay, you know, you wait till gunner is a freshman. And then you know, you go move back to Alabama. You play here and indeed for two years, and that's kind of how the story would unfold for his next chapter after football. By all accounts, he really had a pretty good individual season for the cold. I mean, I think he checked off a lot of boxes of what people thought he would be like so I was in the corn. I didn't think it was like a big of a slam dunk, as I think many others thought, but at the same time, the naked found the news came out. And those families battle a little bit of a code code thing. Right Right now. I was just kind of like, all right, You know, highways just gonna play out with, you know, seemingly another virtual offseason. Come into the NFL. What was the name of that? You mentioned the reporter in San Diego that broke the news. Yeah. Kevin 80 San Diego Union for being I heard you asked him this morning. Maybe..

"American standard. Cooling weather center, the time right now is eight sixteen. Two thousand nineteen NBA the Indiana Pacers because. That's the name you were predicting everybody. Knew it, of course, the way the Pacers were gonna go. They were going to go out there and head to see Georgia. No, that's not outside of Atlanta. That's the country of Georgia, and they were going to go draft gogo Batat Zeh. And of course, everybody got together and said. That's right. Tony cats. Ninety-three WIBC. Kevin Bowen from one seven five and ten seventy the fan joins us. He stayed up all night watching the draft. And he was left with. I don't know maybes happy. Kevin happy. Or do we have questions? Questions I won't I will say, I don't have many questions about Dobie himself as maybe most international draft picks. Actually think there is some potential any played a really high level played pretty productively for nineteen year old in the best leagues in year at the bigger question is why drafting center what if this named for milestone, Domon disobeyed because today, you don't need a bunch of young centers that you've invested, you know, pretty big assets into. He got a trade one of them. But from what ten and Richard said last night, it sounds like role with milestone, the montpe- Sedona. And Mr. go gob batons. So I if you're taking a look at this, this to get something done on the court now or is this long term project take a look at the draft copiers back TJ leaf. Are the are these projects. And what where do you think these projects could take us? Well, I don't think go is the project. I think they believe there's a high ceiling there, but they also believe he can come in and play right away. You'll probably be a guy off the bench for you. But unlike a lot of international players, this is not drafted staff. This is not a red shirt type of twenty nineteen twenty season. They certainly believe he's going to bed and six eleven two fifty pounds able to handle the physicality of the NBA. I think early on. He's a backup and but they also really, really believe he can become a starter in this league. So, I think it all comes back to Nate McMillan Kevin purchase thinking of, unlike the rest of the NBA, they are staff, staunch believers in that they're bigs can play together. That would be probably the power spat Turner at the center position. They kind of flip flop roles on the offense of end of the floor and then go would be your. I big man off the bench. Kevin Belen from one seven five and ten seventy the fan. Let's before we get some of the other things that the Pacers did. Let's talk about the totality of the NBA NBA draft. We knew that Zayn Williamson was gonna go first Zayn Williamson went I we're not surprised. We're not shocked. This was the only way it was going to, to go down anything in that top five surprising view. Nothing. Really? You know, Atlanta moving up to the four spot to a lot of intrigue. They're over that four pick once the pelicans, acquired it from the Lakers for Anthony Davis. The Pacers are rumored to possibly have some interest there as well. So I think a lot of people don't like the drafts all of bit after the top three oncein Williamson John Moran RJ bear went one two or three. I'd say for local interests, Carson Edwards, going to fix and Roman I go into something as well. What are the odds? Right. It's kind of Indiana west out there for Indian east. Right, where with Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens Romeo Langford was a lottery pick fourteenth overall to Boston, then Carson Edwards wit early in the second round to the Celtics, so should be pretty good fit there with coach feeling watch that both those players a good amount during their college college careers. Let me bring it back to Indiana. The other story was the traits that the Pacers pickup TJ Warren from the sons, and if I if you know not being the expert here is the guy who's eighteen points game. Is this something that the Pacers need? I think so, you know, when you look on bygone of its Thaddeus Yellen, those are two free agents than those, that's your starting flow for starting power forward. That think Warren gives you some position versatility from the Ford, spot, buried scoring skillset not a great rebounders. Trump is a bit of the defensive end. But really shine it well for the first time in his career three last season. So again he the skilled forward in the scoring department. I think the Pacers maybe lack at a little bit last year. There are some concerns certainly overs durability. He's a really strange to be on the floor on a consistent basis in its career, but he's young. And again he gives you more of a scoring presence. I think a multitude of ways than the guy like that, maybe even voi- on as well with what he can do inside the Arp. So what the Pacers dead is pretty much Zorg his contract. They didn't give up much that they gave up some cash, but they absorbed contract. They also got the thirty second pick from the sons in trade, which they ended up creating the Miami, three future second round pick. So I know the sort of people look like Indiana was gonna have a couple of picks. They ended up not choosy anybody in that round they trade in both of those fix the future second rounders. They also with the fiftieth pick picked up a drought Brantley and they send him off to Utah. In exchange for twenty twenty one second round picks as well as cash consideration says some of the cash, they had to do to get for the, for the other trade. They see maybe gotten back, some of that in this rank it a rate it, how would you say the Pacers did in this draft? I would say, strictly look at go, I would give it a solid, B guy. A lot of people thought was the best international player the best center in the drafts it a lot of people buddy going the lottery, go to Penn. So in terms of value eighteen it's nice. You know, you've out on holiday players with the eighteen fifty four and in that range. So why not take a bit of a flyer on an international got, but ultimately Tony for us to Italy? Give this a passing letter grade. You've got to think trade, one of those big guys, and I don't know if they're going to go that route, but you have a logjam at center and with the victory legal injury news, maybe he's not back with semblance of January. Dad is a huge, huge deal. And I think that you have some young assets that you can move and address, prominent areas of need today's NBA, you need guards you need score. On the wing to win in the playoffs. And so I would move Turner or Savona to the next couple of weeks. We'll see if that happens, but who's the guy who's the free agent out there that you that you wanna grab. Well, I think when he'll a point guard, the ngelo Russell Kemba Walker even terriers year are the names that come to mind there. You know, I think they still wanna bring back bond on at small Ford it. But I think you know victory, then if he's gonna miss nearly half the NBA season next year you didn't have to shooting guard as well to being a starting lineup. So that's where I would move. One of those big. I just. Acer seem to be contrary in today's NBA. They believe they can play said, bonus Turner together. I'm not sold on it. And that's why I would move one of them because I do think you can acquire pretty solid piece. If you were to part ways with your young, big is that right there, Kevin Bowen from one seven five and ten seventy the fan? Check out the podcast and everything else, he's got going over there, Kevin. Thank you, Paul Bonin lost in the WIBC traffic.

"Nigel. Jason hammer over there. NBA drafts for NFL draft. I think more people get into the NFL draft just because the NFL's king, the NFL's the biggest sport in America, they've moved their draft to a multi night, like extravaganza. I don't think you're gonna see an NBA draft in the city with the thousands of people in the street that you saw Nashville like with the NFL draft. But the NBA draft is a big deal. And there's a lot of rumors going around tonight about what the Indiana Pacers may do and joining us now on the hotline to talk about that, from ten seventy the fan, our pal. Kevin Bowen k b I'm seeing a lot of chatter about miles Turner. What's the latest? Yeah. You know. Hammer again, VIN or moving vile, turn from the fourth overall pet, and ultimately, I don't think it'll happen. Something that you really take a long long look at if you're Kevin richer. Tradeable asset than you wrote them. We have tradeable answer to that couple hours because, you know, role, and then totally healing, I think to, to most people considering you have the draft here tonight. So. I'm not sold on out democracy. Bona pointy Gabar down the road. And I think if you really like the one that in the top five, I think you look really, really hard and moving one of your young guys sewn. The big rumor is that New Orleans the pelicans who currently have the number one pick. I believe they're offering the four to the Pacers from miles Turner. Is that correct? From the Lakers for Anthony Davis. Okay. So the Pacers in theory would have the fourth pick, and they keep the eighteenth pick as well or that go to New Orleans. So that would be that would be, you know. Table that they want the eighteenth and Myles Turner, it would be okay if you do Turner. Data that drought of garland point yard from Vanderbilt. Now, Gary Arlen new point guard at the poor girl depot, obviously coming back from injury shooting guard re-signed boy, on either small board going, you're studying Santer, then you have over fifty million free agency. You go out by the power forward. You find a couple bench. And I think this team had a fire often to feeling than it does in may. Create is going to offer all your answers. I mean we know cool well in this market. Don't come to Indiana. Maybe don't you? All trades. Whether that turnover component weather just the pick all of them. I think you really, really have to answer any mole that, that come your way over the next couple hours. Kevin bone of ten seventy the fan. Joining us the NBA draft is tonight, the pacer sitting with the eighteenth pick. But there's a lot of rumors going around that they are open for some wheeling and dealing KB sports gambling will become later legal in the state later on this year. So if you had to bet some money right now and push it all into the center of the table to the Pacers make a move tonight. Or do they stay at eighteen? Boy on Amer. I think they probably would, but I think it's really, really close to a point. Remember, just a couple of years ago they had the twentieth fit. They traded it fatty of Yang. I would be okay with something like that. You know, creating you're eighteen veteran at that, that can come in and pull your starting lineup but I'm gonna I'm gonna be a little bit educated. Yes, I guess that they stayed at eighteen and make a pick shooting is the route you go. And I also think Romeo per on the board that, that, that the main, you also need to keep in mind because I do the high healing there. When you tell the end you don't get that with a lot of people. So that's, that's who the if they stayed eighteen you think they'll pick early Lang for that. I you. I don't know. No, I don't not you'll the city of new Albany, probably can't show. But I, I wouldn't go with a more shooter, more to guard laying sort of that, that probably the route that, that I would go, but it bro mood Laird eighteen. They got another collection as well. What about Carson Edwards, Purdue now that's not probably a guy that's going to go at eighteen but at the same time, this is a guy that can certainly fill role in the NBA God that could come off the bench and provide shooting. And as you said earlier shooting a need for the Pacers. Yeah, it is. And I think we're Edwardsville road just a little awkward spot to say they not good with number fifty overall. So I got two words ears name, call the perch around. I think he should. Here's name all the first round that I think going to be more middle. Twenties. A lot of March out the goal defeat warriors taking hand me talk about greater Pitt being the backup. Steph curry. Coin cook will will move on breeding. Tito, think live a really nice on some playoff here. Two hours. Okay. "Covered. The I guess they can call them. Protesters of the dedicated bus line in regards to the red line. Julia Jason hammer here now in your video package that I watched I did see like the owner of Mohan Janis who's been very outright. Since very forefront Chuck about not being a big fan of what's happening with this construction. But were there other business owners who might not have salt what this was going to entail? When they initially supported this red line were they surprised by this construction. Yeah. Interesting that you bring up shock because she was one of those people, and he told me she initially voted for the measure that resulted in his project being approved. And he told me that at the time he went along with it a couple of years ago. He had no idea that there was going to be a dedicated bus lane. And he had no idea it was going to be right in front of his business. But he's through twenty five years. So what are they people that don't like this what do they propose instead? Alternative is designed it's being used along different parts of the indigo Redline crowd. So they're not proposing. Anything is not already being planned for other portions of the route they want Knicks use way, they want these buses to be able to travel the alongside regular cars. They just they don't want that dedicated bus lanes and Joya. Did you get a chance to reach out to the mayor's office in today? Give a response to these complaints. I did reach out. And there were a couple of protesters at at that rally yesterday. They were calling for the mayor this stepping here. Their concerns to do something about it to address their concerns with the indigo board. It's a aborted. Shutting board of directors. We've reached out and spokesperson for the mayor got back to me. She basically redirected my question. Ships that indigo even though it is a miserable corporation is not directly under the control. The mayor is under the control of the city council. Duly one more thing before we let you go. You mentioned Chuck MAC, who's the longtime owner owner of Mohan Johnny's place I've pin to hundreds of times he said that one of the things we always talk about on this show is like, hey, you got to read these referendums, you gotta know what in these referendums that you're voting for sounds like Chuck knew what he was waiting for. He voted for the referendum to bring a mass transit his way. He just each is saying like, look, I feel let down by these representatives. I didn't know there was going to be a dedicated bus line, right or bright. And he came he came prepared to that interview. He read on I think everything related to this issue. He came with a stack is papers. He came with a jackets letters. Britain to other elected officials that we're still reaching out to to get more information. "He's out with a season ending injury last night at baker's. I feel house what exactly happened on the play. What did you see? Well, I thought at first he was trying to jumper decide maybe whether or not to jump and trying to fly the full length of the court pass from Kyle Lowry. But Victor actually said after the game that he slipped. Yeah. He swept his knee buckled. And then immediately. After looking down at his name. He motioned to the bench. And that's when I from media thought oh bleep and you knew right then and there that was not good. And certainly when you saw the train bath, you know, call for the paramedics and the scratcher. That's when you knew this just wasn't a ankle sprain. Was he was he next was under the basket next to the Pacers side or was he on the opposite side of the court. Optus side. Yeah. So emotional all the way down to them than actually the head athletic trainer for the raptors came out. I mean, he knew for awhile right away. I think the severity of it though, he came out and put a towel over Victor shoulders. And that's when the Pacers dot Cornell took the towel and put it over his knee. And I was another sign that you knew this. Not good at all. Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan. So what we have here is a ruptured tendon in the season is over. He's going to have surgery at a date to be announced coming up the recovery time here Kaby anywhere from eight to twelve months. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe this is the same type of injury that Tony Parker and Charles Barkley had and their careers is that right? Correct. And those guys are much much older when they suffered those injuries. I think both of them were in deep into their thirties. There's not a lot of professional basketball players that have had this sort of injury, or at least, you know, well documented on the back injury rehab and the timetable for them to get back. Yeah. I would say right there. Eight to ten twelve month ballpark seems to be kind of the general area. Of course, the biggest question is just not only getting back, but getting back to the level of athlete. Victor, all depot is without a doubt is strongest asset is that explosive, you know, really relentless attacking style that he has towards the basket. This is not a dead ivory point shooter is not a guy with some meal. Unbelievable. Ball handles from point guard standpoint. He did downhill and attacks the basket and plays a lot bigger than six four and because of his elite athleticism. That's why he's able to do that. So that's the question. I have with this rehab isn't so much time. Obviously time plays a factor. But you can he get all the way back k b what was the reaction to victim. Depots teammates initially right after the injury. What kind of emotions did you see on their faces? And then how eventually did they respond to after the game kickback back in? They were stunned miles Turner. I would say right away put his hand over his mouth. I think looking down at the knee. They rolled up me beneath leave it. He was wearing on. I right knee. And that's when you knew there was some sort of dislocation displacement, something was wrong. And he just got so eerily eerie quiet inside of bankers life field out. There was a weird weird feeling where it was on a pretty lively crowd for a week night game. Some probably some this calls towards the home team early on played into that the fans realize how big of a game that was Toronto the best team in the east. And I it was definitely quiet. I would say throughout half side. But then I thought with their play in the second half the Pacers just were a bit reenergize. Thaddeus, young was outstanding. And they got a big big win. So it was it was a really commendable opera by that group to rally together after you're just watching your star pretty much knowing that it's even had ended. So Kevin ware the Pacers go from here. Do they write out this season with who they have do? They try to make a move day. Try to make a trade. I keep hearing Michael Connelly's name out there. I know Carmelo Anthony hasn't been signed by anybody are the Pacers look into bring anybody in. Or is this the group we have they're going to go with it? Macmillan said they're still evaluating those things right now the trade deadline's not till February seven I would touch Carmelo Anthony with a ten foot pole. I think at this point of his career. I would ride out probably what you have on this current roster. You know, we have to think about if you're Kevin Pritchard the team president this. Are you going to make a run by adding a mic Conway or insert? You know, be sent to good choir here, and you probably aren't going to make a run. And when I say make a Ron I'm saying Eastern Conference finals or beyond. So I don't think it's worth sacrificing those resources. Now having said that that probably means the season about going to live up to anywhere near decks vacations. You know, we had had, you know, maybe even if we had this conversation twenty four hours ago. But I just think that's the reality of the situation that you're an I would not sacrifice again long term. You know, draft picks y'all got that cap space. I would not do that for maybe a quick 'cause I just can't see anything leading you to you know, a deep into Mayorga Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan covering the Indiana Pacers. K b thank you so much. Yep. Let's go now live to the president. Who is speaking about the government shutdown? They pay a pro rated down payment for the wall, which I think people agree that you need you need the wall. In fact, I see a lot of the Democrats are up almost all of them are breaking say, look walls are good was a big difference from what you had two or three weeks ago, and the vote we had the vote on our Bill, which we won fifty to forty seven that was our Bill, but we got one democrat fifty to forty seven and we need as you know, we have to get sixty we'll have sixty votes. So we need democrat support. We didn't get democrat support other than from actually wonderful man, as you know, Senator mentioned and who's doing the right thing for his people mean he's doing the right thing for West Virginia. Frankly. And the other Bella was fifty to forty four and that included a lot of hurricane relief for a lot of different things. So it's sort of not something some of them really voted for the hurricane relief, which I felt I needed that was fifty to forty four, but you need sixty. So that didn't go anywhere. So we knew they both were not gonna go anywhere. We thought. And now Mitch is negotiating with. Chuck Schumer, and we'll see what happens. I think they just left a meeting. They just had a meeting. I think they're going out to see that people, but they just left. So we had two bills. I think we did very well the Republicans held except for two Republicans L to or not there. They couldn't they weren't able to be there. So were two non votes. But even with tunein votes. I think they would have been good votes for us. It's fifty to forty seven we won. But we need sixty votes because of the sixty vote rule, and so I just really wanna thank the Republicans for holding again on the other one that was the opening up fifty to forty four, but you need sixty votes. So it's a long way short and a lot of that a lot of those votes were based on the fact that there was hurricane relief for certain states. Spending without money for the wall was you're just just reopened. Why wouldn't be happy with it? I wouldn't be happy. But we have a lot of alternatives honest. We have everybody look for the most part people in grave what I say everybody. I would say almost everybody agree we have to have border security. We have to have a wall in order to have border security. You cannot have order security without a wall. And then we can play games, and we can talk about technology. We can talk about drones flying around right now. Formed is an eight thousand person caravan and the caravan is heading our way, congratulations. We have another one we stopped the first one we stopped the second one. I wouldn't say that Tijuana's too happy, but they're happily living in Tijuana right now and a lot of them have gone back, but we stopped them. But it's very tough. And if we didn't have a wall in those areas that would have been very hard to stop them. We have the military and we have the voter patrol. They've done an incredible job in ice has done. An incredible job all over the country. Frankly, we've removed thousands of MS thirteen and others out of our country. But if we had a wall, we wouldn't have that problem. It would be great. So we have a lot of alternatives. But I'm just honored that almost all of the Republicans voted for Bill Bill is the Bill that we were really focused on, but we had almost all of the Republican. So the end result was fifty to forty seven. The Democrats lost one. That came over to our side. So they pretty much held and we held and again, we're we're missing two Republicans. They couldn't vote they.

So I hope you know, giants fans don't feel like they're selling out here by wearing Metallica jerseys are like they were a Yankees themed Metallica jerseys when they were congratulating a Mariana Rivera. The other thing is Mariano Rivera is a Christian. So he doesn't listen to metallica's music. Now. Wait a minute. He doesn't he's not the one that picked his entrance music. Somebody else picked it from the Yankees. And and he said quote with all due respect to the guys. I've never been. I've never been to one other shows as a Christian. "The Indianapolis Colts and other things for our sister station. Ten seventy the fan, Kevin Bollin joins us k b. What happened and Saturday what the hell happened if I could quote, Hillary Clinton and her book title what happened? It was probably the worst offense of performance of the season. Honestly, I know some people I'd be like, well, it doesn't make it shut out in a game. Jacksonville jacksonville. At least I think as a much better defense than Kansas City. This is one of the poorest defenses in the NFL. So she from a run defense standpoint. And I was just frankly stunned by the offense of performance, especially in the office of wine that's been such a strength of this team especially late in the season. And was this starting five and tax. That's your best starting by. And I just saw that side of the ball. Let you down. I expected the defense. He give up about thirty one points. But I did not expect the offense to play. Of course, they did on the most frustrating thing for me was the fact I didn't really see nobody in offense could get open. It didn't seem like there was any separation whatsoever out there Saturday afternoon that was the most frustrating part to me what about you. Yeah. I'm the stick with the run game. Just because Kansas City was the thirty first right? Rush defense in the NFL and Marlin Matt had nine yards on five carries in the first half. And I thought that was the biggest advantage you had over the trust me. I agree with you what passing the football. No one to get open down the field. But I would say the biggest concern or the biggest surprise again was the lack of a run game. There were times in the first half. Like you mentioned where you know, Andrew luck. I thought had time to throw but no one got open down the field. And that will certainly be an off season key, in my opinion. I power upgrade. Kevin Bowen covering the colts for ten seventy the fan. Joining us here. Look I've had a little time to decompress and sober up since that game on Saturday, Kevin. And ultimately, the culture a sixth seed, they went into the house of a one seed who had a bye and had the MVP. There's certainly no shame in a losing that type of game. So let's look at the off season here. What are the colts have to do in the off season to make sure they're not a sixth seed playing in the house of a one seed next year? Yeah. Without a doubt Amer you're exactly right. The season is unquestioned success. But but to take that next step on the mountain Frank Reich loves to talk about I would say start there on offense and upgrading the playmaking. Especially at the Seaver position is going to be thirty years old next year. So you're not getting any younger with your best play with your best quite makers. I think you gotta get maybe a little beggar at the receiver position as well. And then if you look on the defense, I would say the pass rush definitely needs a little bit more just individual talent. I thought at times this year when you get after the quarterback, it was mostly schematic and just guys kind of slow developing via stunts and things like that. You don't have that dominant pass rusher. Well, we saw several dominant pass rushers for Kansas City on Saturday afternoon. So I why receiver pass rushing and then just overall death. You know, I thought the cooker injury was a huge deal on Saturday. And it's just difficult for this team to withstand injuries. I'm with you. You know, a seed played a one c like I didn't expect to win the game. But I expect them to be a little bit more competitive. And I think just some of the injuries jacked oil me cooker, those guys that you just don't have the depth to withstand when you're going on the road. And you're one of the final eight teams in the playoffs. Kevin you bring up the need for a wide receiver and an edge rusher. A pass rusher. The culture gonna have a lot of money in free agency. Are there any names out there not named Antonio Brown, and a trade or maybe on Belle any other names out there that the colts could take a look at and maybe spend some money on? Well, I would say a pass rusher. Probably not in the, you know, high level department a guy that's eight nine ten a year passes. You just don't hit the open market anymore teams value that more than anything? So don't likelihood I mean, there are some names out there, DeMarcus Lawrence and Dallas. But I just cannot see any of those elite pass rushers getting into the open market. The good news. There is supposed to be a very deep defensive line draft class. And you know, he can you find a guy late in the first round earlier in the second round with that jets pick that you have you know, maybe you can help help out the pass rush there as far as white out. Golden Tate is available man. I know he's a little bit on the older ad. But I still think you've got several more years left. Mean he's got the biggest body. But I think he plays a little bit bigger than you know, his roster size. If you will and it has won a Super Bowl in Seattle. So he might be a name. But again, I I kind of lean more towards the draft capital, which I know is weird because you have one hundred and fourteen million enter you're gonna have to spend it somewhere. But there's no obvious names that are, you know, stare me right in the eyes at pass rusher or wideout Timbo uncovers the colts four ten seventy the fan. Finally, before we let you go Kaby the old man Vinnie. Adam Viteri kind of surprised me yesterday. Did not have a good game. Missed an extra point Mr. field goal. At one point colts would have been only down by seven had been hit the field goal in the extra point. Are we going to see him again next year? There's no way he's gonna he's gonna walk off after the game. He had this year is he? Yeah. I kept calling it quits after that. I guess the question is will that be in Indianapolis or will be somewhere around, you know? He a free agent at the age of forty six. I know Chris Ballard love, Terry. And that's your Chris Bauer. Just spoke to the media hours ago. Instead, he believes out budgetary can still be a very good kicker in the NFL, but he would go as far to say as a definite resigned. And I just don't I actually agree with kind of some people that say, all right? Let's pump the brakes just a little bit. I don't think it was a big of a slam dunk. You know break the backboard that the resigning should've been in previous years. He was eighteenth in the NFL this year. Field goal accuracy. And I know some injuries played into it. But you can't ignore injuries for forty six year old guy. Right. Oh. I don't think it's as big of a slam dunk as it has been in years past. I think you just at least need to have the conversation. Like, okay. Do you wanna go younger is their guy in the draft? You like, you know, whatever that that thought process. I probably bring him back because I still think if he's healthy, they can be a very good kicker for you. But there is some questions that I think need to be answered before that's a done deal putting pen to paper. What scares me Kevin is what happened to the Chicago Bears because Robbie gold kinda had a rough into his tenure in Chicago. And they cut mate with Robbie gold and ever since. Then they've been a mess of the kicker position, including what happened with Cody parkey, and I get Benny had a rough go at it there at the end. But I kind of get that Robbie gold feeling that if you cut him now, the guy's you bring in man, be careful what you've got go. You know what I'm saying? No, I trust me. I totally hear you out. I mean, there are kicker nightmare stories colts have not had to go through. Well, I guess the colts. There with my project. But you know, what I mean, the culture very steady at the kicker position for about the past twenty years, and really I don't think you know, what else in the NFL outside. Maybe New England can say the same thing. So be careful what you wish for. I think it's something that will be on the minds of Chris Ballard. And that's why I say you better be dead on with Free Asia edition of a kicker or drafting, the kicker, whatever you decide to do if you move on you, you better make sure that that guy has some you know, what is vain because if not then there will be questioned about why you let out of military walk last question, thirty seconds or less here. Again, we got Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan joining us anyway Antonio Brown or Levy on the Steelers make their way to the colts next year. I can't see it. No, I play making easy upgraded. But I don't think it'd be expensive those types of contracts and those types of personalities in the colts Walker. I'm Chris Ballard does not mess around with that stuff in terms of personality. And I think that's all whole lot of diva give those guys the sort of contracts that you'd be giving a bell or absorbing with Brown to send a message to a locker room that I know Chris Ballard loves the culture. That's currently in there right now on Twitter at K Bowen, ten seventy if you've got any colts questions hit him up on that at Cabo in ten seventy k b we appreciate the conversation. And we'll start talking to Pacers with you when we get you on the big show here. I love it. Thanks, guys. All right coming up next big somebody is going to get paid for doing something racist allegedly that seems a little odd. We've got the story next. Hey, join me. Chad Benson tonight. The shutdown is still going on how long will it last? Will they even? Come close to getting a deal done. We'll discuss info tonight at seven and today. My new dad threw a barbecue today. My new son, and I threw a barbecue. There were burgers and chicken. I burned everything the burgers chicken. The salad. They were delicious. They were awful. And then and then we had watermelon. I'm allergic to watermelon. And then we played catch. I broke Mr. Lewis' window, MRs way comes window..

"Jason hammers here. Pokes and the Texans tomorrow some coats playoff football. Finally, it's been a few years. They kick off tomorrow four thirty in Houston hotline and bring in Kevin Bowen, Kevin covers the colts. Like, nobody else for our sister. Sports talk station. Ten seventy the fan before we get to the playoff game tomorrow. Kevin a pair of colts rookies had a little bit of good news today. Yeah. I would say great news AT first team all PLO for quit Nelson. And Darius Leonard. First time rookie teammates have done that since gale sayers. And dick Butkus. Five when you're with stairs and buckets. I would say that's pretty good company. That's in good company right there. Wow. I did not know that. All pro is really the big thing. We put a lot of stock in the Pro Bowl because that's an all star game. But the voting for that was just a far Senate stupid to be honest with you all pro as more meaning to it. It's the best players at their positions and pretty darn impressive. Chris Ballard top affects equal ball practice here. And you mentioned the Pro Bowl voting. Darius leonard. Defensive guy for the colts. I mean, he should have been in there. The first first ballot, right? I mean, the it should have been number one. And he didn't need it. Yeah. You should have been. I I'm sorry. I say the Pro Bowl voting it's stupid. How does it work? So it's one third player. One third. Coach one third. Stan I've watched players vote for other players in the Pro Bowl they vote for their buddies. Or they vote for household name. Well, Derek winter comes from South Carolina, state Attleboro, your household names, you know, buddies around the NFL, and so I just have never put too much stock into the Pro Bowl. And who makes it all pro boating fifty Associated Press writers, I would think another thing that really stands out of those fifty writers Leonard and Nelson appeared on thirty one of the fifty ballots that was both in the top ten players. So there's about twenty five guys when you include specialists that make the all pro team the first team, and they pretty much have like the ten th and eleven most boats, which I mean, that's pretty much means, you know, ten or eleven of the best players in the NFL. Nelken the Darius Leonard are on that ballot. JJ kudos and talk about the season Quinton Nelson has had on that offensive line a protecting Andrew lucked. What do you do? You see them having a long jetty of say like a Ryan deem or a Tarik Glenn there on the offensive line. Oh, without a doubt. Yeah. I mean, certainly it's gonna be a perennial. Pro Bowl all pro player. Played every snap for you the season. The only colts player to do that. I mean, the durability and the reliability of hand play and play out. You just almost took for granted. And he he faced a gauntlet early in the year, Gino Atkins. What's your cock? You just some of the best interior defensive linemen the NFL anymore that held his own. And look at what everyone else did around that you know, Marla mce career aerosol air Hebron career, Andrew luck. Some could argue that the best season he's ever had. I just think Quinton Nelson. Brought a presence. I was desperately needed to that offense. Why amphibious the entire team made this analogy before when your best player is your hardest worker that goes a long way in Victor oil depot does that but the Pacers Andrew luck and quit Nelson do for the Colt? They are the most talented players, and they have the work ethic of a walk on. And that's pretty darn impressive. Kevin Bowen of ten seventy the fan. Joining us here on the hammer and Nigel show. Kevin one more thing on Clinton Nelson before we focus on the game tomorrow. I still hear people arguing and you see this on social media from some colts bloggers or fans that even know quitting Nelson has had a fantastic year. Number six in the draft was way too early to pick a guard having seen the season play out. Now, where are you on that? I strongly disagree with it with the way. Chris Ballard had to. You know, how he is handling the building of this roster. It is through the draft and traded back three spots you passed on maybe Bradley Chubb, I guess at number three overall who had a really nice rookie. See your take Nelson at six then you come back in the second round. You have to second round picks. You get grading Smith who your starting. Right. Tackle you get I believe in traded back. Again, he got high Kwan Louis later in the second round. And then you've got Jordan Wilkins in your fifth round. Jordan Wilkins was your starting running back early in the season. And then you turn around next year twenty nineteen here a few months and you get the jets second round pick, which is thirty fifth overall. It's like having another first round pick. So I'm sorry. I just don't think Bradley Chubb is that good of a player that could make up for a hall. That includes your starting left guard. You're starting rights at all a key defensive linemen, a, you know, a rotational running back, and then who knows what you're going to get here in the twenty nine hundred. Round with the New York Jets as you got three second round picks from that talking with Kevin Bowen of ten seventy fan. All right, Kevin. Let's talk about the big showdown tomorrow. At this point at the team. You've played twice already the road. Team has won by field goal. Each time. There really are no secrets between these teams. What's going to be the difference between winning and losing tomorrow? I think the biggest story line is the help of T Y Hilton. How effective he can be. He was he was more of a decoy on Sunday night against the titans. Six targets only. Two catches one of those came behind the line of scrimmage. I think you've got to be more than a decoy tomorrow. I think you need a production. You need that system. I mean, he's been unbelievable play into these injuries. But this is a serious injury. The Coulter are trying to be a little coy about it. This is a pretty big deal. But see why Hilton on the other things that stand out to me how you defend the Andrei Hopkins. Houston's best player I had one hundred sixty nine yards in the first meeting against the colts, which she's been one. He had thirty six yards this season. Low for him in the second meeting against the colts. That's the game that Houston law in Lafayette shrank strength, the colts offense of line versus the Texans defensive line. Those are arguably to the best units in the NFL. I think it's both teams strike I think whoever wins in the trenches specifically when the coal tab the ball Houston does that I think that will will decide the game. Kevin we've talked about the colts offense of Lyon. Let's talk about that Texans offensive line and their quarterback DeShaun Watson. Now, the Shawn Watson is mobile guy. He's an athletic guy. He doesn't throw picks, but you can get back there and sack the Shawn Watson because that Texan offensive line isn't the greatest that's still holding up to be true this weekend. Oh, that's a compliment hammer calling them not the greatest fair the worst unit in the NFL. They are pretty much let the COPA then honestly in years past the cult of athletes dominated the trenches and both meetings. They sacked Watson twelve times. We're talking about the most athletic quarterback in the league you sack him twelve times in two games. And then when they tried to want it Lamar Miller who's a pretty good running back. He's been totally bottled up by the colts and their defensive line. So I that is another key in just making sure Watson doesn't get out by the pockets the colts that are really a month ago. They blitz. Kenny board number twenty three a lot out of the slot that kept Watson and a pocket and that meant that the colts defensive line had plenty of opportunities one. I want to get the Houston offense. And they just wreck the game. So I think that's the biggest advantage the coal tab gone into tomorrow their defensive line against Houston. Putrid offense of line prediction. Oh boy. Well, your listeners probably won't love it. I think t y Hilton is hurt and I'm gonna go with the Texans. I just don't think he's healthy enough to give you six catches eighty five yards or whatever you're going to need. You had one hundred ninety nine yards out of 'em early last month when you want you had one hundred fifteen out of them when you walk back in week four that's the key to me of Hilton. It's helping produce. I think the colts win I think it's a coin flip type game. But when this closer teams are meeting, I think you need your five star players healthy and ready to go. And I'm just not sure if t wide open is all the way that tomorrow afternoon for those that want to follow along during the game. Do you live tweet during the game or things like that? Kevin. Yes, you can rip my mentioned in probably just made at Cabo and ten seventy on Twitter and intensive the fan dot com right after the game. We'll have some written content on the site. Kevin volunteers seventy the fan and ten seventy the fan dot com looking forward to the game tomorrow. And as always thank you k b. You got it you too. All right coming up next big knives. Culture gonna win though. I do I do I got that offensive line for the Texans. Is Swiss cheese. I think you can get back there and forced to Shawn Watson to make some bad. Luck got other weapons to and the one pack Marlin MAC, and the broader just had a baby, congratulations. The bronze. And I think I think he's got multiple weapons into dish into T Y Hilton. I hope boy wise gotta get that ankle together, man. Yeah. From what we hear, man. It's bad. It's way worse than a lot of people think when we come back, though, there's a restaurant that's already closed in Indy at a high profile location. I wasn't even sure how long it's been open. But it's already closed Primo real estate. We'll talk about it next. Hey, join me. Chad Benson tonight. We're gonna talk about the economy. Everybody's slow your roll. We're gonna give you the ends. The outs the ups and down. Mark Hamrick paint dot com. Joins us tonight at seven. Homer. Jesse? Hey, did you guys know that kids who play sports earn more money when they grow up? Of course. I I knew that. Hey, did you guys know that kids who read books have a bigger vocabulary? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Wow. Jinks?.

"A few more days of practice Head of them still and the latest is Anthony Costanzo and the way that coach. Reich kinda describes the injury to Costanzo is Oh it he had it and he's got it back and he's gonna There's. Gonna be some rest right he's gonna. Need a little bit of time. It's as vague as. Anything, out. There I'm wondering about Costanza 's future tell me I'm wrong Yeah Tony I I don't know about in terms of long term but I think. It's something to monitor the, rest? Of the that it'd be the first injured. Hamstring about two weeks before training camp. Started and then re tweaked it. During Friday night practice It's. Been really really durable NFL career he's only miss three games, maybe since his rookie season it's eleven and he looked, at positions on the colts. Roster and talk about depth I think left tackle might be, the most bear and unproven position on the roster so Dongo's bend your left tackle for the last seven years and he's going to miss a little bit of. Time, and, that, is very vague and maybe he doesn't play the, rest of the pre season but you would think just a tweaking of a hamstring he would be able to go by the regular season opens up here in a little over a month So you don't see it as a serious thing when you take a, look at the injuries that he had last year No, he was hoping last year two years ago think or maybe even the year before that when he was heard so I I don't. Think it's anything to fret over long term why. This is a guy that has been extremely extremely durable in bell career That guy wanting the, blind side of you know Through that awful twenty eleven so you end up through Angeles early. Years in these past couple of years as well I don't think it's anything that. It's a reoccurring injury that happened for several years maybe came back a little bit too soon, from that hamstring injury and and he openly. Admitted he kinda. Over trained in the off season so rest stuff you don't. Need a Santa Costanza in the month of August you need to see some of these other guys play left tackle in case this does become a lingering issue talking to. Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan dot com that's where you go to get all of. His latest on what's going on a training camp one of the things I noted is that when it comes to running back where, a little bit, of everywhere and nowhere on here we've, got MAC I think people are happy with him. But you, need a, little bit of that day Angela shoulder maybe better, but he still needs to hand off the ball who is he handing off to and, what are we seeing a lot of young guys Tony with Robert Turbin suspended for the first, four games James Andrew lock arguably I think the top three running back to the roster none, of them have, played with lock when you talk about, Marlin MAC going into the second season the mid. Rookies and, I am, highs and Jordan Wilkins as well and Jim Irsay, had quite hyperbole on Friday night saying that he thinks Marlee Matlin rush for fifteen hundred, yards this season I don't know if anyone in for Is He has his, bell Donald Trump of, sports just don't let them tweet Did he tweet which one was it he said it yeah. Said that we have three hundred and fifty yards rushing all last year so that's that's quite the jump for the second year back and especially. On the colts have said they want to be running back by committee so I think there are some young pieces to work with with MAC and what Jordan Wilkins the fifth round pick, out of night's camp, and I kind of bored More of a hybrid player probably help you out on special teams maybe a wide out as well so that's really really. Unproven and when roster cuts happen and the end of August you know you might be a decision that you look for more of a, more of a veteran objects I. Do think there, is something. To work with their but if the group they just, hasn't proved, themselves on the NFL level quite yet as you see it so far as in training camp Who is the player that we should be looking at and who's the player who you think is causing the most concern But I. Think a player that's really, surprises then the Niko Autry new defensive lineman signed from Oakland this past season. Back in March, I think one of the I think it was the first free, agent signing, McColl patio in, twenty eighteen and you know when you're talking about quit Nelson and how dominant the rookies ban, you know in full pads the guy that have occasionally been Autry and. The colts need some help with this new four three Friday and, Autry I think could be kind of a nice surprise I. Think that a guy that you feel, good about concern standpoint I'd probably go back into the secondary and go Quincy Wilson the second round pick some last year Who figure to be. Maybe the number one cornerback a corner in. General I think as a physician group that hasn't had a lot of play making here. In the first couple of, weeks at grand park and they're rotating a lot of bodies there doesn't look. Like many documents, in terms of starters and that group so they need Quincy Wilson, to a, merge because you, spent a second round pick on them you know we know full well how valuable corners are, today that I Sal and the colts just don't have a lot to. Work with with that you know kind of really a it's of, your top four corners I would say three of them are..
