"Entry and start dreaming I don't think i'm ready to quite move on from the morning session even are we. I mean we have I guess we burger kepco. Go through the matches burger and kept were solid unspectacular thought Good pairing up again and again this kind of spectacular down. The stretch from burger kept shanking. That was unbelievable. What's weird dow. Was there for the shaolin seventeen. It sounded so flush it was not a shank it sounded so pure. We looked up and just could not believe where that ball flying. Sorry hunting is on the live show. No it is not Yeah and but they. I mean i think if they draw different pairing than westwood fitzpatrick who were they. Were not terrible but they were not not not a fantastic payer and they're going back out again. God that's blown. Europeans appearing bloom the best lineup of the threes of our for the us. Your morning that it's like project lost. The plot legit might be dawn. Tend to guys randy and our jim. I'd be tended to imagine one is europe going against stinky Who who were. They got a team tapestries. They gotta get kept you Yeah like spaniards there. I definitely spaniard. Nine i mean basically. I'm looking at it on the third. The third one like hololens going to have to play alvin. We gotta stop the bleeding. Big little upset there. And then i just don't see like westwood. Fitzpatrick feels like an auto loss. We're making putts in that one. Tc and jt speed. I don't see them losing again. I know that's kind of what would the odd deal but like jt down. The stretch looked like so much better. I think we've talked about how the us is. I mean they're big time front runners when they're when they're up big they love. Just keep beating down. I don't see those guys losing like bottom line. I would feel so much better about about the morning session. If instead of westwood fitzpatrick you had lowry fleetwood. In that last pairing i feel worse as an american fan. Yeah they'd be like all right like you know what you feel like. You've got to be a little bit instead. We're we're sending out the two guys that like an eight they. They didn't even. I'm just so frustrated right now because they didn't even like westwood and fitzpatrick had had chances and like fitzpatrick gas. A wedge over the green on one hole left one shortcoming in like they had fought back and won some holes in the middle of the round and then when they had their window they just kinda spit the bit. So yeah just westwood was never going to start making putts now like it just. It's not the ball is not going to go in the the look on any johnson's face we're all standing up on the first t andy of course a big time westie supporter and looking to open the day. West has five foot birdie. Putt win fits hits it to five feet he goes. Oh no and. I didn't understand why i was like. Oh god i just remember it. Just no universe where that puck goes. It didn't even sniff defense. It was right to left. Or as a righty. A hate abbas lester. Right though i'm joking it was right. Knows like the easiest way you're going to have. I n dini's apologized for lee westwood. I think is where we are apologize. Andy rain brady trying to deflect apologies..

"I really yeah. That could get that could get sideways on the americans. I think i'm i think i think that's a frisky. Then you think european team. It's fitzpatrick was flushing. Although we did cover that we didn't cover that that report from the ground you know what that one reminds me of is when you're going to put a team you don't get off the bus. You're you're playing grab ass on the bus. You know brooks and burger thing. We got this in the bag. And then you come out and you're down a couple couple touchdowns after the first quarter. And you're like you know. Coat coaches are furious. Could be tough. Could be you know. They got the first game of the season two. So you don't have any reps good burger. Can't you know come in. Lolly gagging on that one. I'm not about that. How do you. How do you out for What how you burgers gonna do this week with this matchup. 'cause at We talked about this last night the other night. There's too much there's way too much emphasis placed on guy ryder cup record. Seems to be all about how he plays the first day or the first three matches and everything gets thrown out like the. You know the second session on saturday and single seem to get downplayed you played. Well the first three sessions right. I mean do you agree like it's like the importance of single seems to get washed out based on whatever else happened or what the general theme it's like. I mean when female just baptize fleetwood in paris. I was gonna ask you guys like at some point. You got all the female c. I never had a female people. No i would say like props. A female for from course fit perspective. Like being the one to absolutely senders show up get. Yeah but female. wouldn't you. You know you guys are such big female guys. Wouldn't you send out. I a true tone setter tone. He i bet he he may go out i in the afternoon. I bet brian the first shot in the afternoon. I bet that's the horrible perry mason. I i will get to the afternoon. I'm in. I'm in on bryson mara. I think it's gonna be a big price. They might drop slime from the from the nickelodeon golfers did you. Did you get rid of gave. I live article gopher. Bergen kepco boys and we didn't really talk about this. We've heard some chatter because the mind the only one i thought they weren't boys at one point they were definitely not an apparently the it's been buried or they've moved on or whatnot or it was just a couple of couple of alpha. The alpha seminoles free shoes. University burgers got any alpha burgers. Just i'm happy to be here man. Let's burgers like a junkyard dog on the golf course. But i don't think. I don't think he has the ego. He seems like he's just revived. He's got more of like a chip on his shoulder guy than he is an ego guy and i think he points up before radi rainy showed up. I when you're talking about the dj prototype the dj two point. Oh i think it's burger would be a guy. I'd love to see those two together. I think the brooks and burger pairing is fun. And i'm intrigued very excited to watch it. But those two also plane well practice around wives of they've been dj in bourbon and the same day the other two in that one no fee now in english or gallon brooklyn burger play together at Liberty national twenty seventeen. That's my point earlier was about how they should play that shit on on at like five iron golf in manhattan. That was willing. I think it was Seafood tried to try to go. Patrick read on the honor bond lahiri also to the finger point down. Fourteen to two on. Saturday was so sick not until july. My friend that was there. It was tough on sunday. Apparently the you're the us got drooled saturday night and almost gave it away sunday singles. They party they celebrate on saturday night. Let let's get the main event here. Tread stone versus Rory so can't lay an awfully versus roy. Poulter ran who he got off. God that's that's a really really good match. I i mean. I'm just root for golf. It here i know we've got. We've got a member of of rory's inner circle here on the payroll. Probably walking around sean. All day out there today has posted his picks the gulf faster. What a good test. Go around the horn. I wanted to answer i'm taking poulter. Mcelroy polders an absolute killer. I've i've put my eggs basket. The pollsters gonna struggle. I think I am nervous about the zander. Can't lay pairing. I just think it's like been assumed. And i just haven't seen a ton of them when they've played together that has me super inspired I think that matches gonna tell a lot about how this ryder cup is going to go. But i'm gonna take zander and caitlyn i. This is weird to say Because poulter who he is in roy who he is. I think Can't is walking. That i with more swagger than either of those two guys love back. It'd be like dude. He's quite yeah. It's going to be just a. He has proved these particular operate for granted. He's not starting ten hundred. But still i think he i think he has. He's pretty much showed. What are the pop holes. That's a good question just poultry pops poultry gets. I think he gets sixteen five. Okay that makes sense. Yeah i think. I think i think sandra cantaloupe will win. Poulter is always a big question. Mark going into this right does what. What are we going to. What kind of energy level. Risky rory though where it's like. There's not really expectations. And he's not in his own head and there's something about play with him in situations where i think he can play much. More carefree fearless uninhibited. Because he's not worrying about making the big mistake you just go on to the next hole. I just everybody points back to twenty sixteen. He was playing really well. Going right twenty sixteen. He had just won the net champion that championship. At the time he just wanted to grocery of he's just won the so gross the fedex cup and he was the pga towards ultimate prize. He was playing great and he's he's not playing great coming in and i think the poulter is poulter is not good right now from green. He never been good his yes strokes gain heart so we have numbers on that ready. It's one row. it's one round. Maybe not even maybe sixteen holes. It's like thirty. it's twenty five shots. I'm so ready to just find out the answer to these questions tomorrow. I can't do anymore of the who wants to win that match more. Not rory canley shaw fleet on. I don't think that's the block. You you wanna stephan shop leagues number one. I think that'd be. He'd probably be like. I'm a little tired. You see that video stephan shafi sliding down the hill. That was the late fourth question for you think that is where we were in hat tomorrow. No now i think he does. He made him some hats. I could see him wearing a beanie. Doesn't wear a hat. That's the question because he has not been. Think kelly. My go with the hoodie thing. I like that well. what better. what better environment for rory. Though where he can. he doesn't have to. he can get outside of himself for once. I it's not. The pressure of individual played a major. I just feel like he's going to put himself into this. He can invest in the team. You're the leader of the ti right. You got to get the best. Rory here i i'm gonna i will regret saying this but we're going to grow at all this man i i. I'm not feeling rory this week. Yeah you definitely regret that. I i is roy faked. Use his juicer sauce. He sizzle no steak his His presser even earlier this week. There's no low energy. It was we juice. He's not sausage that that means he's not trying to fire them up like fire himself up artificially early but roar even show up and get into rory fed off the crowd last year in the crowd. We were talking about this for you..

"Poll question all of that forthcoming fair or not the feud between brooks capterra and bryson dish. Ambos been one of the bigger stories of the years era golf in this weekend. The two will be teammates on the american ryder cup team yesterday. Bryce into shambo had this to say about his relationship with brooks kepco. A lot of this social media stuff is definitely been driven by a lot of external factors not necessarily us to where we had a great. We had some great conversations Tour championship week when we had dinner. And then this week as well..

"Off but in the morning. It's going to be chilly john. It's gonna be fun so let me get to. I think there's a lot of sort of soft questions but the hard question for most people is. What are the chances of the intersections of kepco and shambo who have not pin pals. What are the chances. I assume there's no chance they'll play together but but will they be in each other's company and are people looking to see how that works. Yeah more than any other event in golf. When you're in a team event your intersections are often and the the guys are around each other a lot and they'll get along this week tony. They'll play nice. It'll be coon by ya. It'll be fine. I don't expect him to play together either. Just doesn't seem like steve stricter To do that. He's such a nice guy. Isn't very confrontational like butch harmon. For instance is one of the all time. Great golf gods The instructor butch harmon Gozo dear friend who was telling me the other day. I put them together. I match friday morning. Get it out of the way. Just go They would make a great pairing by the way but they don't get along as okay. Not everybody has to get along sports. But they'll they'll intertwined a bunch In the team room Having to walk around with other matches when their matches complete those kinds of things but if they do play together tonia i. I'd be surprised. But you never know. I mean i think it'd be great television. If they play together first thing out friday morning that'd be that'd be very very cool. I my question about the shambo. And i like to shambo and i think what the shambo doing incompletely reshaping a sport or trying to is very very intriguing to me but he is also practicing for the long drive contests which is going to be held the day after the ryder cup. How if you're if you're steve stricker how do you not go to the shambo and say what are you doing. What do you mean you taking time every day to practice for the long dry. What are you doing as as that come up. He hasn't said something to privately In that regard i. I don't think it's gonna actually affect his game whatsoever. Look telling you watch as much golf as anybody. I know and i know does well And i know wilbon hates the shambaugh but yeah he is he is he's taken over the mantle from bubba watson as the most interesting person to watch in all of golf and if you've watched him say all the way back since say wing foot last fall when he won the us open outside of new york city you know. He goes out there and rips that driver on the range every day. I don't think is preparation. changes whatsoever. Just because he's entering the long drive contests on monday i. I don't think there's any difference in what he's doing. He's always done this or always meeting in the last twelve or eighteen months. And i just don't think it's that big of a deal for him. I think it looks like a big deal to us. Gee tony it looks like you tear your acl. Just watching get a drive that hard on the rage as opposed to actually performing that way. So i don't think the other guys know a little quirky and they that he's into that other kind of stuff. So i don't think stricter cares. You have to consider what this might mean for matchplay particularly if he has the safety blanket of a partner. You're looking at what means to get off to a fast start with the right wind conditions. One seven could be driveable for him. And there's an early par-five most players are going out left. And they might have a three wood into the green. He was cutting quarter and had one hundred and twenty yards. And so i mean with the right conditions. it could be right or cup changing Well i guess. I i'm sorry telling you things on that Michael the golf course gets to be set up by the home team in the ryder cup. Unlike the president's go and the way the golf courses set up this week wide stairways not thick rough at all and they're probably going to be about three or not just seven. Michael they gave me about three or four holes perhaps depending on the wind and the way carry the pj of america decides Tea boxes Three or four holes could be driving. I would be to me forget personality and all that kind of nonsense price. The shambo should play in every match. He should play in all five matches. He drives the ball farther In match play You know you never know what's going to happen. And by the way at the end of the day as far as he hits it match usually is a buddy contest. And outside of harris. English and zander schlafly on the american side rice in the shadows. Probably the third best putter right now on the team so to me to shambo with what you talked about michael and the way the golf courses set up with not a lot of rough and wider fairways and greens that are softer than usual to me. I didn't shambo ought to be playing every single round. Can i just ask question. There's no chance he can win the long drive contests right. These guys are beasts do that. He's not gonna yeah different deal. I mean look he can roast it out there But those guys are playing different sport like he's playing a different sport than we play when we go play off. Those guys are playing a different sport in that particular skill set. But it'll be fun to watch him. Get after. Because i mean. Those guys aren't great golfers. He is great golfer. So you know it'll be fun to watch him compete against those guys but no he's not gonna win that i'm assuming that everybody on both teams has played whistling straits before because it's been the host of a major too right. I mean they've played it like they're familiar with the course right now. The last time there was a major. They're telling you it's twenty fifteen. Pj championship jason day. So it's been six years there. There are some guys who have not played up until this ryder cup. Where you know players have come over to the golf course. Looks like but yeah there. They're a few guys on both sides actually who've never seen the golf course before. Okay all right. Stricker much to my surprise because i think patrick reid is a great ryder cup player. Much surprise he left..

"I'm not buying them at this point. Okay look at the numbers get on the field and play or don't that's urban. Method is here. i think it makes sense. Yeah it does feel urban. Meyer just accidentally said the truth and he maybe didn't know he shouldn't have done that because he's from college and he is usually this guy with all the power in the world and so here he is ruffling feathers with the union. Which again he did not have to deal with in college. But the union look in their defense if there is any defense here and it is minimal. I think it's affected. They have to be adversarial. So i'm not surprised that they have to say you know what we got to stand up for our guys but the big picture aspect of this is just so obvious to me and it's obvious on this level right if you're going let's even just reframe it from you know. Oh did you get the jab. Did you get the shot to get vaccinated. Let's use different words. Thank you love football so much that you will do anything to preserve your ability to play it. That's really the standard year like we can talk about vaccination and we should because again we're in a pandemic that's now eighteen months old but beyond that it's like hey there's a chance you may miss games. Do you wanna do you can do to avoid missing them and the players who got vaccinated say yes and the players were unvaccinated. Said i have other concerns. That are bigger. And if that's the trade off you make. That is a cut that has been made in professional sports for eons at so yes urban meyer. Congratulations on your point. Is the pj being stuffy and lame by banning fans from yelling. Brooke see at the shambo. Okay brooks kepco embracing shambo need to sit down and talk it out. This is a beef that has been escalating in the dare. I say most childish of ways over the past. How long has it been. They don't like each other and fans have been chanting brooks easy at writing to shambo and this has been happening for a while and it's gone a couple of different ways so at first he got pretty mad and then there were rumors that he was trying to get fans objected. Then there was the the round of this where he said that he actually wasn't mad. No not at all anything since really funny. And it's just because it was in his backswing and like honestly whatever then there was like he bought fans that had been ejected beer and keping like pga is going to have to do something. It's not me and then now look the pga tour. Commissioner j monahan has come out and said if you yell brasi at this grown man. Then you're going to be x it could result in expulsion of fans from the tour because it will be perceived as disrespect. It's just feels like he called mom. It just feels like the parents getting involved at a time that the parents don't need to get involved. It's it just feels like that energy of like my mom says you guys better start being nice to me or you're going to the she's gonna call your mom's and it's just like yes. It's disrespectful but in a weird streisand effect way. I don't think this is going to help. I would say getting expulsion from the pga tour would lend houston street. Cred to a bunch of people who attend the pga tour. Who don't have much to speak of so that could almost be seen as a prize. This feels so silly to me. I just proxy so disrespectful. Glad we're cracking down on disrespectful language being used in sports but the incentives at play here i do think they are the doing of the parents involved because keep in mind the pga right. They're doing this whole social impact program now or basically there are financial bonuses. If you're like. I don't know trending on twitter or whatever and so attention in gulf is now literal currency because yes they want all sorts of street cred that comes with being cool on the internet and so what has happened. You have a lot of people who not realize okay. I need to do stuff that's going to maximize that edge. And what else happens when that is being done. You have fans who are going to act as if they are on the internet and it's not as if this is the worst of the internet by any stretch again as katya said just yelling. Someone else's comment guy. I bid that that feels like a line that you should be able to cross but now they wanna have their cake and needed to. They want to be the sport of decorum in which that doesn't happen but they also want to be a sport that is trending on twitter and good luck trying to square that circle. Let me tell you something. There are few things in the world that i appreciate and like more than to meet head white. Dude's dugan it. Out over victimless crimes. Normally people get hard in this case. There's no big deal i need. This feud for golf. I need this to happen. I need people to show up. All maas with broke c. T. shirts on and yell at all over the greens to make sure to see if the pga has the stones to throw them all out with all their frat brothers from campesino wherever they all showed up. I need seriously childish completely stupid and lame beyond belief but all parties involved. Okay this is the most entertaining thing to come to golf in a decade. And i mean that with all sincerity. Keep it up. Gentlemen your ridiculous antics have your boy very interesting up next on. Hq boy in the middle of the morning because that was a day game they were continuing game. That was from april. In fact..

"Playoff and everything for shambo at least went off the rails starting with the fourteenth hole blocking just as patrick kennedy to stop watching law certainly did yeah so that was the fourteenth all they went will play off and bryce was missing ships. He was missing pods. He was falling apart. Which is a tough thing for a guy who fancies himself like renewed inner einstein of gulf to process and this is how it gets literally old because in fairness the people who hate this guy. We have been watching this guy. Do stuff like this for a very long time. We saw against brooks kepco. We saw it with a fan at this tournament. He is somebody who has become a villain of this sport and clearly as kevin von belkin burke pointed out on his column on. Espn dot com. He clearly doesn't love that idea. So as an amateur psychotherapist all of the emotional turmoil. That is what i'm still into. That still feels very fun to me. Well i find it fascinating as somebody who used to cheer for bryson. And here's why like. When i went into this thing with him and brooks kepco. I swore up and down. That bryson was the protagonist in this story right. He was the nerd who bulked up. And you know stood up to the bully and brooks kepco. He is no longer the protagonist in this story for me. And i'm just going to go through the last several months here and i actually had to write it down because he had so many in a lot at the dude at the saint. Jude invitational few weeks ago. He got backlash for the vaccine comments. Right where he essentially said. I don't want to get the vaccine until there's enough for everybody. Which is one of the most uninformed statements a professional athlete has said about the vaccine which is saying a lot so backlash and decided not to talk to the media after that unless they were a pga tour sponsored media okay. He's had his fan ejected for calling him brooks yeta tournament. He had a caddy quit before opening round of a tournament. He had a club manufacturer. Call him a child okay. And he had a very divisive figure over for dinner recently. You might remember him. He used to run the country and so now he's continuing his silence despite all this despite opportunities to sort of fix his reputation and in this tournament even found myself quietly cheering for him because he and this is the only sport. Where can you please. Stop. walking is considering him because he was sort of trash talking there and then at the end what does he do he chokes. You can't tell me he didn't show key choked it away. And then he gets mad at a fan and nearly goes after him for calling him brucie as he's walking away so even though he used to say brooks kept or he lived in brooks kept his head rent-free not anymore it's reversed to me. This is turning to shambo into somebody that is easily hateful. And if he doesn't start talking to the media. I think we can all speak for him. And yeah you choked and if you don't want to say something differently we're here to save for you. Yeah so the idea that selling someone to start walking is absurd. Consider that trash talking is absurd but it's not as absurd as the fact that somehow walking is the legitimate distracted that you are somehow einstein newton end so yeah it is ridiculous. I think it's unfair to be giving so much attention to desirable. Even though he's a big star in the big. I guess lightning rod for us all to talk about but it wasn't. I guess you could say he choke some but can't lane. I'm not a golf expert. But i watched the indicate and kelly was bald. It was amazing. I mean to steal the words of phil. Mickelson can't lay was well. that's always. It seems unfair to be focused on shambo. But i think this proves ape point it may not be the point that you shambo is making personality. Sells like maybe. He's not going for this. But i know who he is. I care about whether he succeeds or fails. I might even tune into a golf tournament every now and then because he is so hateful so whether he wants to be loved. They're not it doesn't matter the fact that we hate him and he annoys us disappoint so many of us confuses many of us it makes him relevant is the old school. Wwf model. give somebody something to care about. You're absolutely right. This was a complete glow up for the person i used to call. The unfortunately named patrick can't lay but now he's got a cool nickname. Patty ice right so not only did he. Stand up to bryson and you know. He walked his way to a championship but he's got much better nickname than what his normal name. Are you here for hobby by trolling mets fans. So if you have not been listening to new york sports radio today. God bless you and you have been missing out on a lot. A lot has been happening on the airwaves. It's sort of thing where i'm like. I want to defend the idea that everything has a right to boo and do whatever they want. And then you listen to collars and you're like no. I'm on the same side of the people but listen. This is how it started involved. Hobby by says who's been a met for like four hours got traded from the cubs. He's been terrible hitting to twenty. It's a home run and then this is how that plays out. So yeah look. The mets have been struggling right like they were at one point at the trade deadline. First place in the latest in.

Like patrick reed and gary woodland paths you. Maybe we'll come to them women to about picks later i don't want someone who's just bumi at high into the sky a in trying to stop it dead because i just going to be able to. If as fifty mile wins as it looks right now. And i guess so you know more of the more of your experience grinders ride keep saying this is not going to be dartboard golf. You're going to around and think construct the joys and be willing to just eighteen pause if that's what it takes so Yeah experienced heads as well all right so as we take a look at the at the board here. Jon rahm is your betting favourite plus seventy plus seven fifty. This is courtesy about mgm Burks kepco fourteen zander softly. Sixteen jordan spieth eighteen. Justin thomas eighteen rory. Eighteen dustin johnson at twenty. Louis station is at the beginning of this next here. At twenty eight. Can't lay twenty eight to shambo thirty hatton. Thirty more cal thirty-three fitzpatrick thirty-three read thirty three. And then everybody else forty or longer so. You can tennessee where that top tier is and then. Interestingly enough with will use hazing kind of slipping into that top ten as well stephen. You already talked about the staff that kinda matter to you. I think we have a lot of overlap. Overlapping things brad. Actually talked about some of the staff matter to him as well. Actually the two things. I did add into my model this week. I have proximity from seventy five. To one hundred yards added into mind just to see who's good at that because some of these holes aren't all that long that doesn't mean they're going to be driving the greens or anything like that especially with the wind conditions in the gusts and things like that. I mean if this was flat wind no wind whatsoever. We probably have some of these bombers they'd be able to go attack the green on off the tee on on several these holes but does not going to be the case. So i think you're gonna have a lot of short approach shots as well so while. I did emphasize the approach game. I also did just some of the shorter approach shots just to see who who excels in those type of things especially like brad mentioned so. Somebody's get creative. Some of these shots needing to be kind of you know not necessarily the typical shots that you play on the pga tour week in and week out. So i wanted to see who was kind of good at those. And then i actually just i did. Add the Just ball striking just in general as a stat to me as well to see who's been kind of who's been doing well with ball striking outside of that i think you and i.

Let's mike's got his own course. Now that he built in north carolina like let's get it going and they should have people interviewed prior to the match talking about jordan's game on an ipad in between holes every every third hole. they hand jordan ipad. Where he he he drinks in with others are saying about him. See what you are wrong about recused. Great it's not an ipad. Those were actually thirty five inch. Tv's mike sands are so big. It looked like an ipad right. Who's next who's next to you got to do. "His last thirty six rounds in fifth in his last twenty four and then from what we talked about at the top of the pod here proximity from two hundred plus out so for these second shots on the par fives and the par threes. I in this field in his last thirty six holes or thirty six rounds from two hundred plus second in this field in his last twenty four rounds from two hundred plus so the one chink in his armor that i was concerned about in the overall stat model with the approach. Numbers at least of recent. Was forgivable considering. He's going to be coming in from very different distances than everybody else. So he is an extremely strong contender in my mind. Obviously that goes up for any given week but given the factors that we talked about before with how much of an added advantage there is with driving distance in these us open's and what his actual approach shots will mean for him. I think that eighteen to one is a hell of a lot more attractive than a nine to one for john rahm so i know you typically don't play don't typically play short shots especially a guy short as as roma at nine to one. I think just for the listeners. Though do we feel that. It's fair though for him to be the for him to be. The you know the short shot for the whole tarmac. Because we look at this grouping of all the guys that we're talking about here. Dj kepco to shambo zander. Speak jt. Roy moore cal. Got six hundred like a qualifier six hundred through ten think. Yeah the lead by like six says folks. This was like within a month of shooting one hundred with seventeen so but again it. You always have that ability to go low And i like in that timeframe like six hundred ten. That's unbelievable. Do you feel like leads you to be comfortable doing that. Like how a lot of kids get a couple of par start panicking right or they start protecting that couple under that was never really your protocol. Maybe you're just too dumb to know. I tried to find this in an article earlier and I can't find it. I don't know. And Brooks Kepco doesn't think much of Price and D Sambo said he still got hit two fairways Gotta hit it close. It's still got to make the putt so long you hit it. Obviously, it becomes a little bit more difficult to put it in the fairway. You're mrs become a little bit wider. I have no idea if he wants to put a 48, inch driver and good for him. It's like he's cutie. That's who he is. No, he's successful. He's better, right. I knew that. Your right I mean, I was going to. yep all yeah I was just gonna say I will wonder if there's any option for him to play caddy list but that they probably would not want anyone that close to it well I would think that he would you know have to go through testing yeah so I don't I don't know just a precautionary measure there but you know just saw that where that term is starting this morning and had to pull out of that event I took a couple more phone calls in here Paul in Iowa Hey Paul when you have for me today five eleven one seventy eight thank you so I want to bring up the point I think there's a real chance do we have a scenario where an entire bullpen needs to be called out because what happens if one guy in your pitching rotation that's positive a contact within the past week so you lose your entire bullpen for at least the next game what are all tested I think I could really affect the final standings you know what it what I was told is that you know they're going to expand the rosters they're gonna have about sixty players available and thanks for the phone call because there's no minor league system right now and you're gonna have a blast about there I think thirty players may be on the roster and then they'll decrease that in the the future week so my go from thirty to twenty eight to twenty six but there would be about sixty players total available for each team including these minor leaguers if somebody happens to test positive Caleb in North Carolina is back hi Caleb eighty three six five two fifty could shut out the chat room and yet this one says the traditional baseball guide normally be completely against the run starting at second tenth inning in both the short season hand bigger issues with injuries with people not being ready for the year I think it's a great idea shorten the season and our shortened games and get them in and out to avoid injury also want to get your World Series picks this year I don't division I division II I don't know Caleb no no no I you know the obvious would be the Dodgers and the Yankees I I I had to look at pitching depth that you know are there is there gonna be a fantasy baseball league yeah oh really right because yeah there are a lot of tweets about their changing the rules I don't even know it's it's a challenge but they're doing it okay I mean I just off a tweet the worst case scenario for Major League Baseball is if the Astros win this well it's no no it's already gonna have an asterisk by it yeah so they're good to get it gonna have double asterisk issues whose Sean Indiana hi Sean would you have for me Hey Dan I feel like we are focusing a lot on the negatives of everything going on in my baseball and soccer personally from a guy that does not watch a lot of baseball I think this year is gonna be awesome because there could really be some of those teams that normally aren't good but they get hot if they have good prospects their up and coming that they would normally trade I think this year is gonna be really fun to watch because you're gonna see a lot of people that you haven't seen before and also the strategy of the game right everyone is going to matter in so it might be you know the long ball might not be a big deal it's all going to be getting runners on base and just you know grinding it out so I don't your baseball will be a lot of thought yeah I think so I said that John I agree with you that we're going to have a lot of teams involved in this and it's sixty games and it's going to be a sprint not a marathon you're gonna have a couple teams that will probably surprise you normally that doesn't happen because this is about payroll yes done it could also have an NCAA tournament field not only where maybe this is the price Cinderella team but there's always that player that you're not never heard of the clothes and make a name for himself because of an injury or someone gets a chance and this kind of format that become some hero later I saw that there is you know we've been looking for Analyst Brandel Chamblee on all things golf
"All Right Ladies Gentlemen we are joined by a very special guest a friend of ours ars Panama on probably a handful types now. But I think it's been at least a year so he is the lead analyst for Golf Channel One of the best analysts in the game. I got a whole intro. Here wait till you see all this he is a PGA tour winner the Greater Vancouver Open in nineteen ninety eight. He is now defunct finished well about. We're not worried about that. He finished tied for Eighteenth at the nineteen ninety nine masters never made the cut of the PGA Championship. Which I want to ask you about tied for forty fourth at the two thousand and one? US Open tied for sixty second at the open championship in two thousand one. Pretty good stretch author of the anatomy of greatness. Which I've read Mr brand-new shambling? Welcome come to the show my friend. Yeah those last few terms are not defunct. They're still they're still they're still up and running And it's always a pleasure to join you guys Who's there in the studio? We've got myself guys. Would you like to introduce yourself Frankie here brandon. Trent also got lurch. That could to meet you four to it so you tell us a little bit pre show that you just came from a little shoot with rory. I wanted to address royal because I was just reading this article earlier. This week. That came out independent. Paul kimmage was going on with Rory. You know nothing's off limits a an amazing acing insightful interview and he mentioned you rory in this interview and there are some negative words that you have received leave before some positive words but I thought we would start with some very positive words from rory and what happened was I played a little clip from year guys discussion on live from from or golf central or whatever it was right after the Patrick read winning the masters a few years ago and the clip. You essentially Go through how this has to be the most disappointed. The point that rory's Ben since leaving Augusta in two thousand eleven you talk about Amnesia from his first tee shot that day which if anybody remembers he hits it a million yards right off the first tee and you talk about that had to creep into the rest of his game and rory goes on to say it hurts when you're on the receiving end and sometimes I think And sometimes all that stuff hurts but I think brandon was one of the smartest guys in Gulf. He's brilliant I like him. He's giving me a book on. Bobby Locke I have it here. So so what are your thoughts and hearing those kinds of comments from Roy a that that type of stuff you know it hurts to hear but also be that he says you're the smartest guys in the game. Yeah you know when you said that in a chair where somebody asked every two minutes. What do you think Why did he do that what you know? What reasons did he? You know made him win. Why did he lose those kinds of things? I mean you have to very often say critical things if people you really like and admire and sometimes you have very complimentary things about people that you don't particularly care for it's just the nature of the job and you know and also the nature of Of all of us that I could wax on for an hour about all the great attributes and the one thing everybody will remember just one critical comment Has All the time I'll do interviews with people and go on and on and on about a particular player for I don't know Ten minutes and then I might say one critical thing and then that'll be the headline and in the story or the podcast or whatever I get totally understand it But it's just hard of the. It's a part of the job I have it. So it's the nature of the job. I have in the analysis business. And you know if you say everything's great and when something comes along. That really is great. While you've desens- Does the whole world and they're not going to believe you so you know he set up there. At least I do I sit there and I just try to as best I can but shots in historical context and when they're great you know without being hyperbolic great when there are awful without being pollick awful so he goes on to sort of talk about how the Rangers that day. He had a left mess. Then he comes out to the first day and he hits it miles right right and your analysis was obviously that though that that shot is clearly. He's going to remember that throughout the entire day at affected the rest of his round. Like how could you tell that. Anita from that. Shot from whatever's going on with the swing was affecting the rest of his entire route. I it's informed by I years and years and years and years of struggling with those issues myself and You know I mean we all have those issues. You had a horrible horrible shot off the first tee or somewhere around the rest of the round in particular when you get to a place where that miss is now Even more vulnerable people because of a penalty. Then they're gonNA favor it and predictably miss it the opposite direction are they gonNA make nuanced changes to their offspring. So I've I've spent the last twenty years of my life watching golf. The way radiologists looks at X.. Rays you know I. I'm I'm all in I'm all allies and I am I research every detail of it and you know it's it's a it's an educated. Guess I guess if you want to call it what it really was but Roy May differ with me later on in that interview. He said he forgot about. It doesn't think about it and and and again I say you know. There is a crucial crucial role of Amnesia. The maintenance power of every athlete you have to be able to forget the inability to forget is infinitely more more devastating than an inability to remember for an athlete. You've got to be able to forget the bad stuff Years ago there was a people talk about about this interview that Jack Nicklaus gave or this speech rather than dynamics gave where he said he'd never missed a pot on the last hole that he needed to make and a man held his arm Arma said. Excuse me Mr Nicholas just last week I was watching you and a PGA tour champions event you had a four hundred or on the last. Oh you missed it and maybe you just kind how to forget that one. and Mr Jackson let me repeat at Never Mr Putt on the last hole of the tournament that I needed to make and the man in the crabbers incredulous and later on he went up and talked to Bob. Tell this man sin. Why wouldn't Jag just admit it? And and Bob said well hold on a second. That's how you think right and Manson absolutely got admit go so you're telling the greatest athlete of all time that he should think how you think you're far often the greatest athlete of all time or maybe. We should just all jacking and again. That's and Mesia. You need to have it. You need to extract. All of the good there is is to get out of every situation and then forget all the bad and then and then move on. I remember one time. One thing you told me was that you know in order to really get to that level level where you're a we're obviously talking about some of the best players of all time and Roy who's going to be the number one ranked player in the world again here very soon but like to get to that top level you you basis Jason like at some level you have to just beat almost delusional. I mean you have to have almost a blind ridiculous illogical belief in yourself at the Times that like your perfect and even better than you actually think you are and if you don't you just can't make yeah. I mean the game of golf for sport in general and he'd you're constantly attacked by not only the people that you're competing against but by the media and fans listen and then you have your own sort of Uninvited guests in your head. You know this little demons pop up and and you you have to lay waste all of those as best you can and you can do it through sort of you know arrogance you can do it to sort of self delusion but I mean it's rare that the the athletes can get to that place where they need to get through sort of rational balanced Thought and I think that's one of the things that makes rory such an appealing superstar. Superstar is that he's a lot closer to federal Along the lines to be approachable humble symbol And yet the right level of arrogance me word has a negative connotation to but I think it's important to have the right level of arrogance as an athlete but it's so often accompanied by the less poudel aspects of that word. The right level level of it is Well it's it's very present in Roy. So let's fast forward a couple years for his game now he's Mid's mm it's kind of insane has been since two thousand fourteen that he's won a major championship of course had really good years along the way really good finishes very consistent Golf. Where do you see his game? Now a specially as putting I mean I know you've you've done a ton of research on on putting feel versus technical and all that rory's biggest struggle has been the putting were you general thoughts on Roy's game going this year especially as putting. Yeah well I think you made changes in the way. He prepares works out and that has allowed his body to move better so he's less inclined to get injured. Still got this. You know. Full reg motion and lots of speed I think had to go there with the working out with rory I like it. Yeah but I mean He. I as I've when I criticize if you want to use that word his workout routine. I was watching him getting injured. Nagging injuries popping up. I was watching his Co.. PEDS BE DECLINE AT AGE win. It should have been maintaining or even going up and you know I mean he I I said what I said. I couldn't have it with anymore. Caveats and the next day he posted a video game. Self working out I think I've told you this before about a month later I was on a set of live from said that the match-play WDC AC match-play Roy. One in fulfilling an obligation on the set nice come up but I was busy. I was working. I didn't look his direction at intern around when he was walking off no effort to connect with him and I felt a tap on my back and turn around and goes you know I was just fm with you you know. That's that's what we do. I was just having fun because I didn't mean any armide and I was like I get no problem. I didn't take offence to it at all but but I think in the long run. I do believe that rory changed as the way he fares works out so his body moving better less inclined to get injured And then with the short game you know I think he made a good move going to work with the Brad Faxon I say work with. It's really just having conversations with then and Brad is given him permission if you will to be less careful on the grains to be more clinic more reactionary which is crazy because because you know the game of golf right now is just inundated with pseudo-scientists pat sells off as a pseudo scientists and then and then they have cluttered up the game with very complicated esoteric thoughts that are not doing their students any favors whatsoever and I think Roy did a good the job of divorce in himself from those thoughts those ideas and those teachers and he's on the right path and then I think mentally were whatever place he needed to find find he got there towards the end of last year to sort of play his best gall I think. You know the rivalry. They may not call it a rivalry but it certainly feels like looks like rivalry between Brooks So I think that's that's fine tuned. Whatever it was it was missing trump his game into To a great spot so it sets up I think beautifully for Roy going into twenty twenty. What's your relationship like with Brooks Kepco? He kind of tweeted. I love what may or may not have been a clown picture with your face on it. Yeah I don't have a relationship with Brooks I yeah. I don't have a relationship with mini tour players of said forever that my job is sort of incompatible with having relationships toward players to speak about I think Brooks's a heck of talent Allen but I I think Brooks comes to this game sort of a A team sport combative Sports Sports Mentality. I think that's the sort sort of sensibility that he brings to go off. It's not really consistent with the traditions of the game. And it's a gentleman sport I think his comments mints about there'd be no rivalry between him and rory and saying that Roy hadn't won a major championship since he was Plan the PGA tour. which which by the way is ludicrous because it was a professional Golfer and twenty twelve? He just wasn't good enough to play on the stage. That Roy was on. I do believe Roy's won three major championships. Pittsburgh successional dolphins so it was Just disrespectful Not only the traditions of the game. It was disrespectful to rory And I wouldn't be surprised if you know and and sort of a roundabout way Work to motivate rory. Don't know that I'm just guessing but but who wouldn't use that to To motivate them so. I don't think like that face picture. Brandel I don't think you like Brooks did that to you. I think he's had that comment that he wasn't good enough for a long time. He's back I don. I saw it. I thought it was funny. I actually posted a picture of myself with a clown shortly shortly after that in response to his clowns because I it doesn't bother me. I mean it's again it comes with the territory of what I do for a living did that. There's GonNa be some retribution or or Kickback from some of the things. I've said you know I I I said before I mean I'm kind of half joking but I have left a few shows before and thought. Wow I don't really agree with what I said You know sometimes it just comes out wrong. Aw Show true boy. Have I been there gene. How do I get there now? He's talking about that happened. That's breaking segment right there. I mean we. It's it's incredibly feature that sometimes you just start you come from a good place with it. You know you have the information and then by the time it all comes out. You're like what the fuck did I say seriously. Yeah I don't would agree with what I just said. It happens from time. TV or radio or PODCASTS. It's a little golf. I mean just get it wrong. Ties make mistakes as a book. You know You try not to try to learn from us. Try to be accurate you know. That's the goal is to be accurate. Fair it doesn't always work out that way.
McIlroy wins FedEx Cup, biggest payout in golf history
"Mcilroy smooth fifteen million dollars today when the tour championship for the second time in four years and that fifteen mill that he wins for winning the fedex cup. That's the largest cash payout in golf history. How's it going kepco was right there again till the end he bogeyed a couple of holes in the middle the back nine when roy birdie didn't that was that was a big four-shot swing so congratulations roy because he's getting a little short on cash steve with with the small little endorsement daily as he was the guy that was complaining kinda going <hes> salmon up the stream on the p._g. As new game plan here learn how playoff will work and going into the final tournament of the year that justice thomas starting with a minus ten like he's minus ten on the first i hole of the first day and that gives them a ten stroke lead on the guys at the bottom and so roy mcelroy is actually quite outspoken about that. I wonder if he's going to feel that way when they hand him that novelty cheque right now for fifteen million dollars
Justin Justin Thomas, Rory Mcilroy And Golf discussed on PTI
"Some high profile golfers are agitated about one of their own young stars in his penchant for agonizingly slow play bryson d shambo who has a bitter charisma and maybe more than a bit because of his style and his wonky scientific approach to everything from his clubs to his mechanics so so much time standing over the golf ball before actually swinging the ticked off some peers including bruce kepco rory mcilroy and justin justin thomas for starters dish took as long as two minutes to get his shot off when the rule allows forty seconds and now the p._g._a. Says it will review its its policies and consider more ways to penalize players tone this too harsh you want to defend de shambo his agonizingly slow play so so i will point out that as we compressed that over two minute thing into that putting didn't even hit the whole anyone three feet by after walking around twenty seven times look. There's nothing thing worse than slow playing golf. There was nothing absolutely nothing hit the ball fine. The ball hit it again. Find it again hit it again slow. Oh players kill fast players and slow players are oblivious that his whole deal the reason. None of these slow players get find in any way is because the tore four doesn't wanna find him but why not maybe the tour tony mike it was baseball didn't wanna rush the pace for a long time and it knows because it is losing viewers and and okay so maybe doesn't golf have to deal with no well not really because it's the way the way you produce and direct gulf.
Are we living in the Brooks Koepka era?
"<hes> on. Would we go. We got five topics number. One has everything to do with Brooks. KEPCO ABC Brooks won the W._g._C. Fedex Saint Jude Sunday forget how he did it or who he beat he won. That's a matter of fact it is his seventh to her win. Six of those have come in the last three years for them have been major championships. He's number one in the world. He's going finish this year at that spot unless someone goes crazy and so I asked you to think about Gulf history are we living in the Brooks kept get era yeah. We are undeniably undoubtedly. I think everyone still getting used to it. I think Brooks kept guy is even still getting used to it. I mean listen what he said in his press conference after his win. Yesterday he said you know it's always nice to squeak out a victory over probably the best player right now the best player referring to rory mcilroy who's clearly. I'm not the best player right now. We'll get more rory in a second but there was no doubt who the best player on the golf course was yesterday once he made his Birdie Putt in rory missed on number three there was just this sense of inevitability <unk> gravity. Whatever it is that happens when kept good takes control of Golf Tournament? Usually we see that a major championship in this case it was a flat W._G._C.. <hes> but it really underscored the sense is that when this guy is on he is the king all right so then for the twenty tense. Let's talk about the Erez I mean I think there are three yeah. I don't know Oh man. I know what you think this entire conversation yes. The beginning of the twenty tens. The first era is the tiger hangover your is tiger for one is still dealing with the wake of his infidelity to he's not playing as well. He's got all these injuries so then the second era is the Rory era rory takes over he wins four majors in in. I don't know five years a bunch of other winds on both tours the European tour and the P._G._A.. Tour he is number one player in the world. He is the second coming they say of Tiger Woods whether yeah that's true it's probably not then the third era I think is the Brooks era in which I mean there is no Jason Day speed or D._J.. Iran what do you think well. I mean it's funny. I looked at this 'cause I was thinking about in article. All this happens sometimes get deepened articles that never quite make it to fruition but this whole idea of you know this game of thrones were there is a power vacuum or board guys were battling for that top spot and not just the world number-one ranking but truly truly like golf's heavyweight title belt the championship belt. You're not just number one by name but you are undoubtedly the best player in the world by any definition and it went around and around and around in this post Tiger Tiger Post Rory Era D._J.. J._T. Speed Jason Day there. I mean they're all these guys that were rotating around. Justin rose got in there kept. I got in there for a second <hes>. It's not until recently we probably at the P._G._A.. <hes> that Brooks really staked his claim to the throne. None of those dudes had it for more than one year now speed is one three majors was makes you think there is an era their speed era <hes> what he won on them during an incredible Twenty fifteen year yeah twenty sixteen he didn't he didn't play well in twenty sixteen. He won a couple times on tour but that was it twenty seventeen. He gets his British open and his anything since like D._J.. A._J.. He wins at oakmont. Here's a great year after that then he doesn't win for a little bit of so Jason Day has like seven wins and twenty five starts really hot for one year fades after that Justin rose gets the number one wins onto a couple of times fades after that these things they don't. There's no sustenance yeah well. I think I mean you know you said if you look at these quote Unquote Erez if you look at deejays era you need signature wins to define these things and the W._g._C.'s we have learned they you know for for all the the might the strength of field they cannot carry a player's legacy there to there to flat. They're good window-dressing in for Brooks kept good. That's exactly what this is. This is what this is best is non major win right. It's over strong field limited field but still really strong field. It's over Rory mcilroy the number three plan player in the world but it really supports his body of work in an important way for how we look at Kapka and I think that that made yesterday huge for him numb number one in the field in strokes gain putting by the way yesterday and for the week he gained what almost ten strokes putting this week so you know watching him. It just looks like oh he's not missing missing a shot in sitting in the middle of every green managing his way around now yesterday he got up and down all seven times that he missed the green <hes> he gained almost three strokes on the field
Bruce, Rory Mcelroy And Michael Collins discussed on SportsCenter All Night
"Rory McElroy meantime won't be around as well this weekend is by shooting a sixty five fell one stroke short of making the cut keep in mind he was the favorite heading into this turn disappointed not to be here for the weekend unbelievably proud of how I handled myself today coming back after what was a very challenging day yesterday it's going to be a tough one to get over I'll probably rue the the finish yesterday that you know dropping five shots in the last three holes but I felt like I give a good account of myself today and you know I can leave here with my head held high yeah the challenging day on Thursday was an opening round seventy nine so the story lines at least according to Michael Collins halfway through he was on SportsCenter I think the biggest story line going into the weekend is Brooks KEPCO world number one is only a few shots back at a lead no one has been going out there and just running away with this Bruce can't get has not played great golf for two days he's just played okay is ball striking can get better is putting can get better and I think it will and when it does he's going to be in contention but the story line leaving the first two rounds of this tournament the open championship is Rory McElroy the emotion that Rory showed in his interview after missing the cut by one shot was so good
Woodland captures US Open title for first major
"Gary woodland held up Brooks kept to win his first major capturing the US open at Pebble Beach woodland closed with two hundred sixty nine and made big shots. I never let myself get ahead all day today. Just kept telling myself, you know, it's never over. It's never over. It's never over when that last putt went in kind of all came out, not that I was more nervous afterwards, and I was at all today. So it was, I'm glad it's over with woodland finish thirteen under par three better than KEPCO, who is trying to win a record tying three straight. US
Woodland captures US Open title for first major
"And golf, one of the third major of the year. The US open Pebble Beach, Gary woodland finished at thirteen under part get his first major title and he finished three strokes ahead of Brooks KEPCO, who was gone for a three peat of the US open and had already finished second at the masters and I of the PGA this year, but winning three US Open's, well, that's only happened once and that was over one hundred years ago, but kept he came closer than anybody else finishing just three strokes off the pace final major of the year. The open championship at Antrim Northern Ireland, the British Open when we were kids, but they're they have a different thing now begins a month from
The Latest: Woodland captures US Open title for first major
"Gary, congratulations. US open champion. Sounds pretty good. I like the way that sounds you heard a lot over seven after you had to fifty four hole league. You heard plenty a head shake you woke up this morning, when you went to bed last night, what was your belief that you'd be sitting here now records of meant to be broken? I mean, everybody says that's what I told myself. And I believe that when I went to sleep last night, and I believe when I woke up this morning that it's my time all those past experiences over seven of led me to where I am today. I can take the good out of that and making forget the bad and I can move on. And today, I stayed in the moment I relied on those good memories and times when I've played good under the gun and was able to pull it out, you referred repeatedly to what you learn to euro, the PGA playing with tiger. When things didn't go the way you wanted him. How did that help you this day for everything? I mean, everything I mean, I, I should probably call tiger and say, thank you for that, because tiger he didn't have. His a game that he shot sixty four which I think is Lois five around in a major. He didn't have his game but he the way he handled himself the way he stayed in the moment the way he blocked out. The excite people are screaming the energies. Unbelievable. And I relied on that today I got a little out of myself, I think that got to me last year. They'll read until I finally settled down on the back nine it was too late today. I didn't I enjoyed the crowd. I fed off the energy but I blocked it out. I stayed within myself I paid attention to Gary. I didn't pay attention to everything going on. And when you do that everything you can kinda calmed down, and kind of take everything kinda slowed down for me today. And that was the big deal you go to a great start your so rock-solid and then middle part of the round early heart of the back nine you got a little quick transition, go right? What was the turning point to get it back the big deal? The second shot on fourteen. I hit a great drive. My foot little slipped a little bit there. But I covered it enough to get it in the fairway. I got up there and his one of those. Caddying Brennan little, we've talked a little bit this week about playing aggressive and I got up there. And one of those where I knew what the concentrate on. New left was bad hit the chip shot in the practice round. I knew rights out of bounds. I knew was only by one, and I don't know what Brooks is doing a head of me as well. I saw Justin Rose just lay up from a similar position. I'm like a pretty easy to lay up and he's like, let's go. It's a perfect three would and that gave me not only confidence for that shop but gave me conference last four holes. That's all I needed to know. He knew I could hit any shot in any situation. And I was able to execute it perfectly, and obviously, make birdie give myself a little room, but I credit, Brennan, forgive me, a lot of confidence right there. The shot that will probably get more attention to that. Of course, is the chip from the green on seventeen ninety feet away. What do you tell yourself as the club goes back just make contact? You know, you don't wanna lay the sod over it. Leave it up there and chip it again. Fortunately, I had that shot earlier in the week. And it was one of those where I could rely. I got it up and down. Fortunately there so I can rely on some some pass memory, but I was just trying to get past the pin. I wanted to have an uphill putt take four move on in Britain last. I do it but I didn't wanna make a big number. And fortunately, I caught it perfectly had a little spin on how to change go win. You were so. Controlled all week you make the thirty footer on the seventy second hole. What came out everything. I mean thirty five years of blood, sweat, and tears. I've been surrounded by great people, my whole life coaches, trainers agents, everything I've had good people around me. And I've kind of keep everything bottled in and I I let it out there in the last night, I was more nervous when I got done because there was no more shots hit. I didn't know what else to do and it all came out when I made that putting the last and it was a doozy. Gary woodland fourth US open champion with all four rounds in the sixties Brooks KEPCO becomes the first player to shoot all four rounds in the sixties in a US open and not win. He was the fifth player to do so all time including Gary woodland kept Cup, fifth straight round in the sixties at a US open longest streak by any player all time I players Tiger Woods finished in the top two in each of the years. I three majors as tiger final round, sixty nine his best flying around at the US open since two thousand nine and now he's gonna take four weeks off before the open
Koepka keeps 7-shot lead at PGA Championship
"App to golf round three of the PGA championship defending champ Brooks kept shattered records over the first two rounds fire gate, that page black course-record, sixty three in the first round followed it up with a five under sixty five in the second round KEPCO was more human though, in the third row with it even poor seventy but he's still has large lead heading into Sunday's final round Brooks kept at twelve under seven shadow lead at four other golfers including Dustin Johnson, Kemp K heading into the final round with the largest fifty four will lead in PJ championship history, doesn't really matter. I'm just trying to play golf if I can get off to a good start tomorrow. These first six holes are very score will, and I feel like if you can you can get one or two hundred after after six here you're gonna get spot. That's all. All I need to do tomorrow, and then, from there from seven to twelve just try to hang on and make as many as you can't other golfers are at pressed with Brooks kept gives play including Zander Shafi, who had three under trills KEPCO by nine shots. He's doing what he said he'd do. He's, he's talk some in the media room and he's backed every every word of it up. So as a competitor, I have the most respect for it, and I think is awesome. So some trash talking for Brooks CAPCO who thinks he will repeat as the winner of the PGA championship. I feel I feel confident I feel good. I feel. Excited started. So can anyone catch Brooks? Kepco ESPN golf analyst. Michael Collins, everything is
