What we do know is that written house was seen with other militia members earlier that night. And then, after cholera in house allegedly killed people, The page was actually a place where people went and celebrated it, And even then, some of the Facebook users were reporting it to Facebook. But Facebook still, you know, didn't remove the Kenosha Guard page. The event page disappeared The next day At first Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg suggested that his company had removed it. In fact, it never removed the event page with all these violent comments. It was the creator of the event page from the Kenosha Guard itself, who removed before Facebook got around to it. I want to share about our investigation. Zuckerberg spoke directly to his employees about the incident. You know, the first thing is we designated. "ABC News and spoke with Como's Jeff Pooja to start what are his grounds for finding extradition back to Wisconsin. Well, he's got time just trying to build a much time as possible and try to build the case's best as possible, and they were able to slow the process a little bit today, getting an extension of two more weeks before The next hearing in which the extradition will be discussed. They said. They just didn't have the proper materials available. The judge agreed. Gave him two weeks and away we go. They say they do plan to fight extradition. We don't exactly know what That will be the shooting took place in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He's from Antioch, Illinois, which is just across the border and literally 20 minutes away. So when he was arrested, he actually turned himself in to authorities in his hometown. So the shooting took place in Kenosha. It sounds so from that point he drove home, turned himself into authorities the next morning, and that's why he's in juvenile detention right now in the Lake County, Illinois, instead of Kenosha, Wisconsin. So what do we know about the details surrounding the deadly shooting? Well, you know, obviously, we know Two people are dead. One person was hurt. We've seen the videos that have come out. No one has denied that He was the shooter at this point, even his defense team because their case is that he was defending himself. And he was. AH, courageous Patriot was exercising his right to bear arms, and it sounds like that's what they're going to say. We'll be bored, and it seems to have worked because They've been able to build up that defense fund a lot of it on online donations made specifically after Kyle right now, so they seem to believe they've got a pretty strong case, and they're going to try to use that money to, you know, make their case and and find out the best strategy to make him You make it so that he doesn't have to face the homicide charges or at least convicted of homicide charges. What do we know about the two people that are dead? Well, their families were out there today. Outside of the courthouse where the hearing took place. Obviously, they are ah. Still very distraught over what happened. We know that they're suing, not only written house, but the Kenosha Melissa. The Kenosha guard, a militia group that had formed online actually started up by an older man in the county who is also being sued Facebook. Also being sued is part of this, too, for allowing this group to what they say instigate this violence and create this violence. So From the civil aspect. Expect more from that coming down very soon. Have we heard anything from written houses? Family? No, We haven't heard anything. They've been pretty quiet at this point today, when he appeared by the way he was vey assume he was wearing a mask. He's obviously that juvenile detention center and the only words we heard uttered out of his mouth is good morning, your honor when the judge introduced him, but Beyond that everything was handled by the the attorneys. So what's next? In this case, we'll wait until two weeks from now and still bring the same extradition hearing back up and we'll see what the defenses and there may be a plea. At that point, I guess we'll have to say. That's a bee sees Ryan Burrow speaking with Como's Jeff Pooja 6 39. Let's get right to build Schwarz. "Long ago forfeit any moral leadership in this country. You can't stop the violence because for years she's foreman and you know, he may believe mouthing the words. Law and order makes him strong. What is fair you to call on his own supporters to stop acting as an armed militia in this country shows how weak he is Joe Biden earlier today, delivering a speech in Pittsburgh, blaming President Trump for violence we've seen in recent days. In Wisconsin and in Oregon. One person was shot and killed in Portland during a violent clash between Trump supporters and counter protesters over the weekend. And this weekend. We also saw a pro trump caravan here in Los Angeles, traveling from Woodland Hills to Studio City. We're going to talk about this moment. And these movements with Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at Cal State San Bernardino, Welcome back. Thank you so much for having me. Well, it's great to have you first. Let's talk about the situation here in Los Angeles. What was this group? I think media reports are saying there were maybe hundreds of cars in this caravan pro Trump cars. Yeah, Yeah, This is a phenomenon that we're seeing. It appears to be a function off the local GOP as well as an event planner and others on but also includes just, um Ah, Pro Israel folks. This was just one of the caravans and taking place in different parts of the country, and they tend to be more locally organized. But no Facebook has become this really interesting meeting place for a variety of different groups that we have seen accelerate into the political season. And this includes human on the boogaloo boys. Ah, and I think this is something that Facebook is going to really have to address. Better going forward. Right. They got a lot of criticism for not taking down a post by the Kenosha guard or taking down the page by a group called the Kenosha Guard, a militia group in Wisconsin, which has issued a call to arms before. You know that violence erupted and to people ended up dead. One person seriously injured? Yeah, again. This is really insane and want to be careful here. I'm not saying that caravans of people who support the president, the GOP or militias or terroristic, But what we're seeing is just interesting, elastic pool and thank you for bringing up Kenosha guard as well. We're seeing these kind of Ah, mushrooms of meeting places pop up on social media, but they're not just organic. Oftentimes their local political leaders were some kind of event planner or political folks involved. Some are organic. But you know, the commotion guard, for instance, was part of really kind of a nationwide development that started in recent months. After the horrible killing of George Floyd. But we also saw a New Mexico guard and they showed up in places where violence took place. So it's not just the fact that the folks were getting together. But what we're seeing is this becomes sometimes cess pools for conspiracy theories and sometimes on people who either want to confront them or become part of these things when you have moving caravans. That makes things more difficult. Right. And so that brings us to Portland, where a group went into downtown, I guess to confront the protesters who had been there. For what? Some 90 days protesting. The killing of George Floyd and, you know, largely peaceful protests. And so what is the thinking behind these other groups? These right wing groups going into confront the black lives matter. Protestors Really great point. You and Portland's interesting because if there is one place where you actually did have ah, sustained amount ofthe violence coming from the left, not from not from protestors. But from the hard hard left, including the suspect, who was allegedly arrested in July for a firearm charge. And what was so important with regard to Portland is that was one place where we really did see not only mostly peaceful protest, but we did in that place. We had a coalescence off more hard left. Activist and again someone who apparently was in that orbit did something that we haven't seen in recent years. This is the first hard left extremist a suspected we have to get all the facts. Suspected extremist homicide that we've seen the alleged suspect posted. I'm 100% and hkifa. So what we're seeing is white supremacy. Far right and then populism kind of week into the main stream from the right and we're also seeing some instances on the hard left of folks trying to glom on to peaceful demonstrations and political rallies. Interesting. So, yeah, this suspect had already been accused of taking a loaded gun to another. An earlier Portland protest on DH. He had been attending black lives matter protests. He's a suspect. The guy he allegedly killed had an insignia on his hat That said, Patriot prayer, which is a far right group. What do you know about the Patriot Prayer group? Oh, my gosh. Very interesting group. You know, they were kind of the survivors post Charlottesville because they were kind. The altar light as opposed to the old right. They're from Vancouver, Washington. They show up a lot of times with proud boys, and they get into these violent confrontations with folks on the left, and unfortunately we saw with respect to Portland. This is one of those situations where you have a volatile mix off of people who were armed coming into A particular place, but geographically now amorphous, and it's very difficult for police to cover such expansive areas when most of what was in this case most, But not all the folks were in vehicles and not on on foot and again. We're now seeing instances where we've had around Chevy are our friends in New Chicago been counting this better than we have? But But the scores of incidents involving the hick Euler attacks not all of which were Ideologically motivated the volatile minutes as we're seeing Ah, more amorphous grouping of people, people who glom onto these things and they're on and we're seeing different instrumentalities. Ranging from vehicles, two knives and now gun Brian Levin. He directs the center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at Cal State San Bernardino. Ryan. Always great to speak with you. Thank you. Thank.

"Alright, Welcome back. It is Vegas take sharpened. Shapiro gets your phone calls in a few minutes here, 2575396. We're talking about events that took place as far as N ba players canceling playoff games, which will resume today. I want to give you all an update. On this Jacob Blake shooting. Of course, we know the civil unrest that has been taking place Kenosha, Wisconsin. Well that Wisconsin attorney General Josh call, He said Jacob Blake had a knife in the car but would not clarify if responding officers knew about it, he said. The knife was on the driver's side floor board, and he had no other weapons. The officer who shot Blake seven times, his name is Rustin Schelsky. And he's been on the police force. They're in Kenosha for seven years. According to the release. A woman called police to report that her boyfriend was president and was not supposed to be on the premises. When Officer tries to arrest Blake, one of the officers deployed to taste to try to stop him. It didn't work. Blake then walks around to the driver's side of his vehicle, opening the door and leaned forward, according to the report, Blake told police and by the way, Blake did speak to police after being shot. He was still cognisant, which is unbelievable. Apparently told police he did have a knife. He and he admitted it in an interview following the shooting. It is unclear, though, where the responding officers knew Blake had a knife, and that is going to be kind of. You know what? Listen, This is part of the investigation. There's still a lot of information that we need to find out. But now I want and that's the latest on that. Now. I want to move on to what took place as far as a couple nights ago with the shooting of two protesters. The 17 year old who rush they were rioters. They were not protesters. Writers, okay, They were rioting. Okay, So let me give the information on on what took place on then, if you're it's your opinion that the two people who are dead or riders, then we can talk about that. Kyle Rittenhouse is the 17 year old, by the way, who Does not even live in that city. He lives in another 15 minutes outside the city. 15 Miles. Excuse me. But he was taken into custody in Illinois on suspicion of first degree intentional homicide. Like I study. He lives about 50 miles outside of Kenosha. He has heard staying. I just killed somebody. At one point during the rampage that erupted just before midnight. One victim was shot in the head and other in the chest. Third victim wounds not believed to be life threatening, According to witness accounts and video footage. Police let the young white man responsible for some or all of the shootings. Walk past them with a semi automatic rifle over shoulder. I've seen this video myself. It's crazy as members of the crowd were yelling, Arrest him! Arrest him! He was the one that shot these people arrest him. And cops, for whatever reason, didn't even approach him. Cellphone video of At least two of the shootings that was posted online shows a young man with a rifle jogging down the middle of the street is crowd some police officers following someone, the crowd could be heard asking. What did he do in another person responds that the man had shot someone. The man with the gun stumbles and falls, And as he's approached by people in the crowd, he fires three or four shots from a seated position. Sitting at least two people, including one who falls over and another who stumbles away and cries. Medic Medic. A witness, Julio Rosas said that when the gunman stumbled and fell to people jumped onto him, and there was a struggle for control of his rifle. That point during the struggle. He just began to fire multiple rounds and that dispersed people near him. The rifle was being jerked around in all directions, what was being fired, he said. In the cell phone footage. The gunman stands up continues walking down the street, and that's the moment where I said police didn't stop them or approaching. Protester Devon Scott told the Chicago Tribune that he witnessed one of the shootings himself, he said, We were all chanting Black lives matter at the gas station, and then we heard boom boom, and I told my friend that's not fireworks. And then this guy with the huge gun runs by us in the middle of the street, and people are yelling. He shot someone he shot someone. We're learning a little bit more about the 17 year old addition to his participation as a youth police cadet in Lake County, his social media Post showed Riton House was a staunch law enforcement supporter who had posted tributes to officers killed the line of duty in Chicago and northern suburbs and other social media account that appeared to belong to Rittenhouse. Is that a bad thing? I'm just trying to get through the story, man we can. I'm not giving you my opinion on it. Another social media account that appeared to belong to Rittenhouse suggests he was also a supporter of President Trump. The TIC tac account with just 25 followers read Trump 2020 with the U. S flag next to it and bra. I'm just trying to be famous. That's what he said, bro. I'm just trying to be famous Third video again shows the team armed with a gun strolling among what appeared to be uniformed police officers. And on Wednesday morning, a statement by the Kenosha Guard page read. We are unaware if the armed citizen was answering. The Kenosha guard militias called to arms and it was even the bug lose that said he is not a part of our group..

"The things that these black lives matter. Protests are not necessary or de funding or fundamentally restructuring. The police is not necessary. Consider this. The Kenosha police seem pretty cozy with this fantasy militia. Lee before the shooting a local militia group calling itself the Kenosha Guard organized a Facebook event, encouraging armed civilians to take to the streets. The group put up this Facebook post addressed to Kanno cious police chief. As you know, I am the commander of the commotion Garden Local militia We are mobilizing tonight and have about 3000 auras, VPs or effort has been made. To the national media. I ask that you do not have your officers tell us to go home under threat of arrest, as you have in the past, we're willing to talk to K p D and open a discussion. It is evident that no matter how many officers, deputies and other law enforcement officers that there are you will still be outnumbered. What a polite request to break the law. Dear sir or Madam, I am writing to inform you that I have a seven o'clock appointment to poop in the town fountain. I have over 3000 ours. VPs, Please do not arrest me as I prefer not to go to jail. Sincerely, yours Imperial wizard dumping tonight. So did the Kenosha police tell the heavily armed yahoos to buzz off under threat of arrest like they usually do. I'll give you a hint it rhymes with no, they offer them refreshments. That's right. They thanked Seal team sucks and gave them water. I believe the brand was 1939, Poland spring when asked about the incident, the Kenosha police chief says protesters wouldn't have been shot by arm teen If they weren't illegally out past curfew that is insane, justifying murder because it's past curfew has a name. It's called the purge. Radio from hell on it's Graham, Twitter and Facebook X 96. Nice to meet you. Oh, you do? Yeah. So I put out a call. "Marching around town rocking his Ar fifteen with tawny he's waving to police in one clip, an armored vehicle police vehicle rolls up and offers water to the are militiamen who were hanging out he being one of them with with their loudspeaker, and as you would expect, thirsty seventeen year old police obsessed Harto kit do. When given the opportunity to interact with real law enforcement kyle enthusiastically takes the officers up on their offer of water watering around the vehicles for almost a minute following up on that water they offered water I really want that water I needed it runs out of his group to interact with the cops in just like A. Puppy. Dog Looking to get desire and approval from real police right but he's a criminal. Issue he he's a wannabe cop, but he's he's a want to become with a hard on for guns and make criminal well, and that's to be eighteen like. That's the larger point guys because then the him check this out, this is what's going on at the police. Then give him water while simultaneously giving the seventeen year old kid approval saying we appreciate you guys we really do and the problem is he's a fucking child with an assault rifle. He isn't even enough to legally own and he literally need parental consent if he wanted to join the military. So. These cops this kid is illegally walking around with a fucking assault rifle right in front of them and the cops like we appreciate you guys thanks for keeping it. Safe. You seventeen year old piece of shit. Who has no idea what the fuck doing down here and then these militiamen no matter what they're fucking intentions are are allowing seventeen year old kid to be in their midst. WHO's clearly fucking. Look I I don't get the militia thing whatever. But this is like your typical creepy obsessed kid with. Look. They're coming in because they because they feel that all of the protests and everything is so. Homes. Test their community homes and business in the community and they're. Being destroyed by these riots or whatever but it's just totally out of control. It's doesn't absolve anything obviously the fucking kid isn't. A murderer terribly killed two people. So yeah. But, this situation is created by inaction at the people in power both at the local and federal level everywhere everybody's failing on doing anything about it, and that's why people are fucking fed up with the this is this isn't like a pick a side thing. This is saddle around. This isn't going to happen to the police bill in Congress this isn't like an isolated incident. There's going to be violent protests that are going to be responded by people protecting the property that are going to cause violence that are going to respond with violent protests they're gonNA respond. Let's get it. Let's into the Ministry of that. Specifically socks sucks because these were outsiders and I think this is a larger problem that we're realized that when Shit goes down people come in from out of town on both sides to protest and patrol right and Kyle was part of a militia potentially one that calls themselves the Kenosha Guard, which is a self-described local militia and the Kenosha guard set up a facebook event on Sunday night saying quote arm citizens to protect our lives and property, and on its main facebook page asked any patriots willing to take up arms and defend our city tonight from the evil thugs question mark no doubt they are currently planning on the next part of the. TERRAIN THAT'S NOT A. Very healthy mentality. No. To a fight with a gun. Giving themselves justification they lose all sense of like what right and wrong is when they have the feel like they have this fucking power and then they're murdering people because you say like armed, you see armed protests go off well like the One Stone Mountain Georgia and then this isn't an armed protest. This is just a militia calling themselves calling themselves into action to defend against rioters who they have in their head determined are guilty and need to be protect the city needs to be up. That's not their job you know and I know but then you take layer back and then it's like to an extent Rodriguez, but that's the plane. Advocate, to an extent, you know the black lows movement sometimes. A little too hard on all the cops to like everyone's just so riled up guys and undoubtedly. Terrible. Can't solve that problem on the show today. Can point out is a system of it. There's people have different opinions on it, but I'm sure no one will have the opinion that a seventeen year old should have been out there doing this shit like. So whatever led to that this is a wakeup call in a number of different respects but guys of the militia. The KENOSHA police chiefs showed them during a press conference saying it doesn't help us that you guys are here. which is indirect indirect contradiction with what we saw from the videos from the scene where the police are thanking the militia, waving to them, giving them approval in essentially autonomy to do what they wanna do and say the appreciate you guys. He also called out a facebook invite that I couldn't find online but he claimed that he saw that went out to be antique type. facebook invite echoing the same sentiment. So he's calling. This is what's fucked up. There's just it's like a fucking gang war out on the streets. It's like it's not about the movement at this point there's like there's One there's militia groups. There's for groups coming in to agitate shit, and it's like that. That is so out of control, how has it gotten to this point and nobody nobody's really taking any action to do anything about it? I mean. Whatever trump's saying is trying to send in National Guard or whatever in these situations, but it's got to be like a group effort from everybody. It's not a side thing. It's. Everybody needs to step up to put an end to this bullshit happening and well I think I think you have a point there because the sheriff called both sides out as as outside agitators. So my guess is that what's coming up here is the locals were at the locals and he thanked the people, of Canossa for being peaceful and respecting the the curfew that they've put in place. It seems like if you're pissed off and you WANNA drive somewhere to protest you better be fucking peaceful and if you have a gun in your militiamen, stay the fuck home because it's not your job to go protect someone else's business or the let the cops do that and guys on Tuesday governor ever, Evers. Declined federal assistance from the White House however Wednesday trump tweeted we will not stand for looting arson violence and lawlessness and street might team just got off the phone with Governor Evers who agreed to accept Federal Assistance Portland the same and he followed it up by Tuesday or today referring to yesterday. A federal law enforcement. And the National Guard to Kenosha Wisconsin restore law and order. So that's cool. All President Trump quick side note are kyle was front row center at Trump's rally in Iowa. You know. I'm not merely that there and according to police, guys, federal agents and are have already been on the ground. In the form of the FBI, the ATF US marshals, and the National Guard. Wisconsin call these people in on. Monday night additionally can does your Kenosha PD. Throughout. Wisconsin, all police departments and were reinforced by the hundreds hundreds of sheriffs from all over the state. There are hundreds of national guardsmen, countless ATF, FBI. Anyway and trump saying he's sending the NASCAR. They're already there. So take that for what it is. I don't know why he's doing that. It's but whatever goes it's a wake up call some shit needs to change it's been happening. A lot of people that like people are like are so nasty.

"So this could be a disastrous hurricane. Well, obviously keep an eye on it. Meanwhile, in other plotlines, two people were fatally shot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, overnight as the riots raged out of control, and some people who are defending property got into gun battles with members of the writing community. It is unclear so far, who violated the law. Law in the state of Wisconsin does allow for protection of your property. Not allowed to use deadly force unless you are threatened with deadly force under the law in the state of Wisconsin, So we still don't have all the details. We don't know who is right and who was wrong. Some video that has emerged of apparently a 17 year old who is carrying a gun. I don't know what the law is in the state of Wisconsin or in the state where this person came from about carrying weapons were carrying weapons across the state lines were using weapons. Under these circumstances, Video shows him running away from some of the rioters. He falls down. One of the riders jumps on him with a skateboard and is trying to hit with skateboard. He shoots that guy, and then he shoots. A couple of other people. Apparently, we still don't know the implications of that. Legally speaking The folks on Twitter are trying to label the 17 year old white supremacist. There has yet to be any evidence of that. At this point, according to Wisconsin State law, quote, a person is privileged to threaten or intentionally use force against another person. For the purpose of preventing or terminating what the person reasonably but reasonably believed to be an unlawful interference with his or her person by such other person. You can only use such force or threat thereof, as the actor reasonably reasonably believes is necessary to prevent or terminate the interference. You're allowed to use force. Also of that is likely to cause death or great bodily harm if the person against whom the force was used, was in the process of unlawfully and forcibly entering an actor's dwelling, motor vehicle or place of business. The person is present in that swelling motor vehicle or a place of business. According to the blaze, which actually has reporters on the ground on like The Washington Post. The New York Times. One victim was shot in the head another in the chest late on Tuesday, just before midnight, according to Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth. It's unclear where the third person was shot. Although there is video posted to social media showing that somebody had been shot in the arm, that person, by the way, is holding a gun of his own in the video. Video posted to Twitter shows at least three people being shot. Apparently, there's one video clip showing a man sprinting into a car lot at 63rd Street and chart and road carrying a long gun, and someone pursuing him appears to throw something toward him and then multiple gunshots are heard. Her accusations on Twitter night and supported and Molotov cocktails are being thrown at this person. Another clip posted by blazing He's Elijah Schaefer was a male who apparently was shot in the head. In the after mention incident with the group around him applying pressure to the wound. A daily caller reporter took off his shirt and tried to tourniquet. The Wound and carry the person to the hospital. According to the Journal Sentinel. Other videos troll man who seems to be the same man wielding long on while running north on Chardon Road being pursued by people screaming. He shot someone, he falls to the ground and fires the gun of people who seem to be trying to disarm him. While on the ground. He appears to shoot two of them, one in the torso and another in the arm. Is then seen heading north for several police tactical vehicles, his arms raised in surrender the tactical vehicles that drive by him, but apparently this person is in custody. On Tuesday, There's a group called the Kenosha Guard, asking members and Facebook followers to come downtown to defend the city, adding the one post read any patriots willing to take up arms and defend our city tonight from evil thugs. No doubt they're currently planning on the next part of the city to burn it tonight. Apparently you can ocean police chief Daniel McInnis said. Quote. I ask that you do not have your officers tell us to go home under threat of arrest is you have done in the past. There's a later post directed toward police chief We're willing to talk to K P and open to discussion is evidence, no matter how many officers deputies another law enforcement officers are here, you will still be outnumbered. So because the police were outnumbered. Apparently these these folks showed up there being called a militia by the press. Again. We do not know exactly how these shootings it went down or what The state of law violation is the person I'm sure will be arrested and there will be some breaking news on that out. Imagine in the very near future, so we'll continue to keep an eye on that.
