"Box and rip it yourself where the entry point is obviously much higher or you can go online and buy into a break where you might get nothing for your money, but the entry point is much, much lower. So it really depends on a personal situation in that regard. And then if you're a team collector, that's pretty a good option as well. If you're just hunting for a team or a player, especially if it's not a team that has a really popular player on it, what's also interesting is going into this prison product, I wonder if there's going to be, I'm assuming there's going to be Brady and Tampa Bay, right? So like Tampa Bay might not be a bad one to buy in for the break. You're not going to get their rookie hype, but you get some rare Tom Brady cards out of the break that could be could be some of the better polls in the product with a bad quarterback class. Waiting for the secondary market for singles to hit into buy, you don't want to buy right out the gate either. That's another thing. I remember it was God, what was the problem? It was like optic basketball. It was lamella ball's rookie class. I remember when those base cards were coming out, raw, they were selling for like 85 to $90. And now they're worth like 8 bucks. So you want to be careful buying singles right when they come out the gate. Same with graded products. If you're going to get a new release and you see, oh, it's a pop one PSA ten or a pop one, BGS 9 5 or SGC ten or CSG ten, whatever it may be. Well, you want to be careful like what is the actual supply of that product, right? Is this just a moment in time where the population is going to drastically increase over time and someone just happened to beat you to the market or beat everybody in the market and now they're able to get a premium on it because of it. So like I said, it's a loaded question. There's a lot that goes into it. Just make sure you do your research and don't overspend early. It's really interesting because there isn't that's the general answer. There is this little balancing act though, I think, if you're extremely bullish on a player and it's an SSP or a low numbered card, right? It's a red DeFi. It's a finite one O one. If you believe in that player, you do sometimes kind of have to bite that bullet because you might not see it again. There is a little bit of a balancing act there, yeah? Sure, yeah. It depends on it depends on if you're into this for the hobby nature or the ROI. If it fits the hobby nature and you got a player you collect and it's a short print or a low numbered card. You might just pay up for it and get it. And then you're happy. If you're going from an ROI perspective, well, there's more entertainment slash gambling, right? Because you're literally banking on that player doing well because you're into it from an ROI perspective. So either way you slice it, it's an ROI risk, but it's just a matter of if you care not. As we kind of put a bow tie on this because there isn't anything that, you know, set in stone other than, you're probably going to lose money. If you're ripping wax. I think trying to limit that downside is really important. So group breaks, player breaks, teams specific stuff waiting till the product cools off unless it's in the off season where, hey, maybe you have an idea or thought that Kenny Pickett can be that guy and you're going to be bullish and you might wait a week, two weeks, three weeks, four weeks, put your starting to still position yourself in the off season before you get that July August national hype. You want to focus on the brand. Prism contenders, national treasures, false. Those are the brands people want. Those are the brands that hold the most value long-term. I speak to a lot of guys that do this full time, 24/7, 360 five, and the feedback, they get when they go to shows. It's that these specific brands sell the best. The demand is greater. And I think you hit that perfectly. There's a lot of releases right now. We've talked about all the products that are being sent into the market optic prism finite chrome. There's just too much going on. And I think if you're trying to rip all of that stuff, you're going to get absolutely crushed focus on the biggest brands, the biggest products and enter at the right time and hopefully you can limit your downside. That totally agree. I do believe that fanatics coming into the space, they're very aware of the standard ROI that people have gotten in the past on products. And they're doing a lot of different things to try to increase the ROI for buyers. So I do believe it's going to get better in the future. I think the fact that price points have come down is really healthy. But all the additional things that they're going to be doing as well should drive more value and more ROI for people, whether you want to buy a box or buy a new break.

"Bengals browns, steelers, ravens. Regular season, best record? Yes, time. I want to say Cincinnati. You want to prove they weren't a fluke list. All right. All right. I'm going to take the ravens. Same. I'm going to take the ravens. At the bottom of the AFC north, top. No no, who do you have at the bottom of the AFC north? Steelers? Yeah. The anti Mitch sentiment is just rampant in this building. But look, Mike Tomlin, they always have a winning record. Boy he's going to be tested this year. This is where I would, I would start Mitchell trubisky. And then if I thought there was an opening, then I'd put Kenny Pickett in. And then I would never look back. If you're not in the playoff picture, then I would start to think about, what are we going to look like next year? And Kenny Pickett has played well, but it's still it's preseason, but I would if it gets to that point, and I think Mitchell trubisky was a fine quarterback with Chicago. It's not everybody can't be, you know, Patrick Mahomes are in Rogers. There's nothing wrong with being a good quarterback. And there are good quarterbacks. I mean, Derek Carr is a good quarterback, Kirk Cousins is a good quarterback. Not marquee may not lead you to the promised land. May have to rely on other aspects of your game, your team, your roster, and then they compliment that, but Ryan Tannehill. Good quarterback. But nothing more than that. He

"For example, if you're looking for a sleeper running back and then they got a goal line carry in a preseason game. That's sometimes a pretty good sign going forward. Not always, sometimes they just don't have that many active bodies, and that's why they're getting those carries near the goal line, but in general, those are the things that I like to look for in the preseason. All right, hear me out, boys. We know that Wayne a backup quarterback takes over for a starter. We usually see like a third or fourth string wide receiver start to emerge, right? Because those are the guys that are working together in practice, they develop that camaraderie. With certain teams that have these quarterback battles, Pittsburgh, Seattle, maybe Carolina, could we be, should we be paying attention to the players that are on the field with drew lock? The players that are on the field with Kenny Pickett. George pickens so that way those guys eventually become the starters because I do think picket will eventually start in Pittsburgh. I think Locke might be the guy in Seattle. Those wide receivers could be the players to target Albert. Does that make sense? That makes complete sense is a great point. It's not only during the game Scott is in practice as well, right? Because the QB one is going to play with the ones and twos. The backup QB is going to play with a threes and fours and just naturally they're going to have a better sink and better alignment with those backup wide receivers. So I agree with you. I listen to you on the previous segment. I don't think Pickett's going to come in until week three. Because those first two weeks are really tough for this dealers there and I don't think they want to throw them to the wolves. But you're right. I will look at the rookie or the young wide receivers that are coming up in the three to four spot because they've been playing with the backup or The Rookie quarterback all training camp. Mackenzie has George pickens risen up your offensive rookie of the year rankings right now. I mean, he's rising up the odds boards. It's always the favorite at circa earlier today. I know he's moved up to 12 to one 14 to one range which is a little bit rich for me. The Rookie of the year markets real fascinating right now. I know at the Caesars, which was what ESPN uses on daily wager. I think that I counted 16 guys between 8 to one and 16 to one. And then there was even a couple of guys after a 16 to one that I'm kind of interested in. But Pickett is definitely one of them. I mean, we know what his physical stature is. We know his physical attributes when it was coming out of Georgia.

"Short week, notice Sean Watson. We know that we'll see what happens with that game. And then the jets conceivably. It could be one in three. I mean, I don't think they're going to lose all four of those. But if they're one in three, trubisky's not playing well, and they lose to a team like the jets, which at that point, they should have Zach Wilson back, although we can get into that. He looked like he looked very good anyway. But if you lose those, you start off one in three O four, I think it's a thought that, well, it's early enough in the season if we make the change now, we feel like we have a shot of still being in it. I mean, you could maybe say depending on how the first quarter of the season or the first four games goes, we could have an indication of how short that rope is or if Kenny Pickett gets a shot. But they put mason Rudolph ahead of him already. I was about to say, that was a bigger question. Where does mason Rudolph fit in all of this? I don't think it's anywhere, you know? I would find it hard to believe you draft a guy in the first round and you're going to keep two guys in front of him. I mean, if it's a place that would do it, it would be Pittsburgh. I'll be honest with you. If I'm the New York Jets right now, I'm looking for another guy. I'm not just role with Joe Flacco and Mike white. I might make a move from mason Rudolph. I might say, hey, we still the exact guy, but we need more depth in here. And this injury, he's getting surgery in LA. This is going to cost him a miss. We think at least four weeks. If that's the case, I need to bring in more guys just in case, you know, Joe Flacco gets her. He's up there in age and very much. Or we don't want to put that ball in Mike white's hands all the time. Even then he still need a little more depth there. So I would be shocked if they didn't try to move mason Rudolph because I think you got a couple of guys right now and usually teams only keep to. Yeah, that is true. But again, I wouldn't be surprised if they held off on putting pick it in this year. I just went, I would not be shocked. Are they going to play this game though where it's pre season and they make an announcement next week that now Kenny Pickett's moved up to second string. He's just slowly climbing the charts. Again, if you're looking at the history of the franchise, generally speaking, guys don't come right in and play. They give them a little bit of time. Ben played because Tommy Maddox got hurt. Correct. Yeah. It's possible that times may have changed enough where this team may need his services enough where that caution goes to the wind or that tradition goes to the wind and they don't, they don't wait, I think that if they are a one in three team, you certainly have to think about what you're going to do, especially if it's because of your quarterback play. So it'll be interesting to see. I mean, I guess the more I think about it, you know what you're going to get with mason Rudolph. That's for certain. He had his opportunity and if you're looking at the trajectory of what detain could possibly be, I would only say and would caution if you throw them in at one and three, then what happens if it doesn't get any better? I love it continues to slide once he gets in there and you can't take him out. Take him out. I think at that point you kind of know what you're getting though, right? It's just built for the future. If you're continuing to ride. You kind of know where things are going at that. But that would be Mike Tomlin keep in mind. This would be Mike Tomlin's first losing season. As a head coach, if they were to just let it ride. What's going to happen? It would be crazy in year 16. 15 years, he's never had a losing season. That is absurd. By the way, has he been there longer than cower was there? I think at this point he asked. I think so he has, yeah. Jesus, man. I didn't realize it would have been that long. Then when you get older, that it was like, oh, yeah, he's got to be pretty good, easy. He plays a sport, he got injured. That whole thing, then when you get to a certain age, you get heard, people are like, oh, they're just old and brittle. That's what happens when you get old and brittle. You start falling, you can't get up. You have a sled drop on your foot, you break it easily. And stuff like that. Yeah. I do have some good news, though. Come on. Kenny Pickett. How about how about Kenny P? How about making your hometown a Pittsburgh proud? They were fired up to see him getting that game over the weekend. I mean, he delivered look good, man. He delivered. I mean, it's weird though, because I thought his hands were too small, Brady, so I'm just trying to figure out why he was able to throw the football away. So that his hands would be too small to hold on to NFL balls. Yeah. You know, there'd be too big for him. So were they using nerf footballs on Saturday? Or was that like, how was he able to hold out of the ball? They look like a regulation size to me, Jonas. Yeah. So can get worked out for him. He was cupping them balls and he was spending. I love her balls. We are off the ground. Off and running. Trubisky looked pretty good in limited time. Mason Rudolph had a good drive. George pickens, by the way. He's just going to be the real deal. Brady, you called it. I don't know who the defender was for Seattle that got knocked on his ass. But then somebody brought up a clip from Georgia where he did the same thing in a game at Georgia. And then the catch he made in the corner of the end zone from mason Rudolph was fantastic. He looks like he's going to be the real deal. Pittsburgh got another wide receiver. So congratulations. I'll go as far as saying, I think he's got a shopper rookie or offensive rookie of the year. And then maybe better than pick it, which you might be thinking yourself, hold on, how does that make sense? It's kind of like the high has been right. If the quarterback is playing well, and obviously the wide receiver is going to be playing well, the difference is trubisky did look good in the beginning. They might let him start the first few games. Before this thing would ever get turned over to Kenny Pickett. So if that's the case, you have to think it's going to be in there the entire time getting targets, getting yards, getting production, but the Steelers once again did it again. They find these guys all the time and the draft and it seems like it's not even the first round. Like they find in a second, third, fourth, 5th round, whatever it is. They might be the best team at drafting wide receivers ever at this point. Why can certain organizations just do it and others can't? New England's asking themselves that, that's for sure. I don't get it. Why can some organizations, it could be, is it just because there's consistency there because you don't have a lot of turnover because there's not a new head coach every three, four years because it just seems like Pittsburgh always has an act for finding these guys. Look, they let Mike Wallace left and it was like, oh man, they're really going to let Mike Wallace walk and he got replaced. And then you had Antonio Brown, and then you had juju Smith Schuster has gone. And now they've got pickens. It just seems like they just roll out wide receiver after wide receiver. Chase claypool is there. Don't forget about Tyler Vaughn's. Yeah. Tyler Vaughn. Yeah. Jeez. How about it? But where's that? Fantastic. Opacity in action. I don't know, man. Kenny Pickett looked fantastic. And I wanted to see just when he came in the game and they were waiting for the second half to start. Once he got in, you just looked at that crowd. And they loved him. And I was thinking to myself, I wonder if Ben Roethlisberger's watching this right now, what he feels. I wonder if he's got a red ass watching Kenny Pickett get the celebration he got. You don't think so? His bottom is not popular. Okay. He might be puffy that he's not playing anymore and probably thinks that he had at least one or two more good years left in him. But I don't think he's looking at him and fill in a certain type of way while he's at home or he probably didn't even watch the gang. He's probably somewhere at the golf and barefoot. By the way, ten to one, George pickens ten to one to win rookie of the year. When a little sprinkle sprinkle there, you know? Kenny Pickett is Kenny Pickett is the favorite. So a little bit. Do you think at what point this year do you think we're going to see can he pick it as a starting quarterback? Not because of injury, but at what point do you think Mike Tomlin pulls the trigger? Because he doesn't feel like somebody who's going to just make a quick decision to please the fan base. Is this going to be let him sit and we go next year or are they going to be able to hold him back and keep it in the holster? Not release him to that crowd to that fan base to that division, especially if they're in contention with who the hell knows what's going to happen with Cleveland. We don't know whether or not Cincinnati is going to bounce back and Baltimore was riddled with injuries last year. Lamar Jackson still doesn't have a contract. We'll get to that later. But if Pittsburgh's winning, you can't just make the quarterback change. It feels like Pickett's going to ride this thing out for a little bit, barring injury. Let the quarterback have it. You want it? Yeah, sure. I mean, as you look through their schedule, I don't know, it's tough to tell. I think if you lose back to back games, they start off at Cincinnati. That could be a loss. Then they get to play New England at home. Could be a lost. It's pretty good. Then you play at Cleveland

Your foot is getting worse and worse. Apparently. What is going on with that? So it's broke. So for people that are just tuning in, a kid was tackling a sled. A 5 minutes. 5 man sled and just do it on your foot. I didn't think that he could move a 5 man sled by himself. So I didn't get back to a safe distance from where I was standing and coaching him to where he was going to be possibly capable of hitting a 5. If you know how big and massive a fat man sled is, you would be probably like, yeah, levar is probably right. Like, I'm standing up in between the shields. I'm standing there. I'm like, come hit it. You know, come hit this thing. And he came in and he hit it. And it went up off of the ground and then it came back down on my foot. And now you get a brace on it. I had to, man. Wow. I had to. Wow. This is getting worse and worse. Yeah, bro, I had to, what is it called mobilize it or whatever? Immobilize. There you go. Yeah. Yeah. So is it broken? It's a mid foot fracture. Oh no. "It couldn't be more tailor made this year for them to take a receiver, which obviously means they won't. But you could not have a better say. For a number of reasons, the way this class is set up, you can not have a better situation for the Patriots who, you know, to take a receiver high in the draft. Yeah. The one guy that I will say that this is a little bit troublesome for me in terms of weight is John Dodson from Penn State, who I don't think they were going to draft anyway because they have that thing about Penn State anyways. Right. But he's a 178 pounds. And the one thing you definitely see on his tape is getting jammed up by press coverage, right? And inability with his upper body strength in his smaller frame to get off of physical coverage, especially at the line of scrimmage, I think that's reflective on his tape. Now he weighs in under a 180 pounds. If he doesn't absolutely fly in the 40 yard dash night, then I think his projecting to the NFL gets a little bit murky, but the topic of the day really has nothing to do with the Patriots in India right now, is obviously Kenny Pickett's hand size, right? And how much does this actually matter? 8 and a half inch hands for Kenny Pickett probably for most people, the consensus quarterback one. This is not a good quarterback draft. This is not a this is not like last year, or we have Mac, juicy, what I'm just grabbed. Oh, I did. Trey Lance, Trevor Lawrence Zach Wilson. This quarterback class is not very good. But what are your reactions to how much this actually matters because if you look at things in one way, I do think that it's opportunity, right? If you measure in small, then maybe you're not going to have the opportunity to be a starting quarterback in the NFL because people are going to write you off right away. But at the same time, the only guy I think that I saw was under 8 and a half inch hands or in half and under that succeed in the NFL was Michael Vick, who obviously did it with his legs. His arm. So with Kenny Pickett being a pocket passer who is.

"Determine the over under, but the matchup, it's a matchup friendly under, and that is why that is my theory on this, that the defenses are accustomed and then you have both offense is bleeding the clock, but that's also why you have a 35 and a half runner. But it's been fun to bet every year and I have been actually I think I had the under in the first half and went over and then the game went on or something like that maybe two years ago or something like that. But it's definitely a thing. The game was 15, nothing last year, so you're probably thinking of two years ago. That game was 31 to 7. But you're right. Every year the last year, 15 nothing, then it was 31 7 1710. It's very rare that the winning team gets over 30 points, even though I just said it happened two years ago. But pretty much every time the winning scores and the teens or the low 20s, and if that happens again, most likely it'll stay under. That noise is my dog sleeping on the couch next to my desk here. So that makes no way sleeping. He snores. He's a French bulldog. They don't have the best breathing. So he's snores. He breathes heavily when he does anything though, but he is sleeping or maybe I don't know. Sometimes he just breathing heavy, I can't tell I'll be snoring or not. So that's that noise in the background. It sounds like a zipper going up and down. All right, I think that's it. We covered college. Got the game next week and obviously Heisman Trophy looks like Bryce young's gonna run away with it at one point on Saturday. I think there was -4000 odds on a live somewhere had it posted. It's pretty much a foregone conclusion. You had a great game. I told people on air last week, -200 seemed really cheap for a guy who could still win it even if you just played fine against George and a loss, but of course they played great in a win. All right my man, good stuff is always Mackenzie. I know listeners really appreciate all the hard work you put collecting all those notes and putting them together. And you know, week 13 in the books, except for one more game Monday Night Football at Orchard park. I'm just sad that by Kenny Pickett Heisman ticket is dead..
