"All you need is cell service in a Wifi. Any device and for two and a half two hours. you know trae young Kemba Walker. Build the depot all NBA all stars. Briana do it. League MVP WNBA, Brittany griner. Will your personal trainers two hours. But the difference it's alive so I'll kids consume information live, so you get to ask questions live. You could upload videos live, and it's a different process the differentiator. Jet Academy Camp Dot Com Jonah follow and a half and you get a nice workout. So, can you? There's going to be instructional videos. Coach talks different QNA's when you pose the question to Kemba, Walker trae young Brittney griner. What were their thoughts on this virtual camp? How do they take it? They love it. Because most all of them have camps already. That they had to cancel. Cancel all camps. This is great, but then I told him I was like. Yeah, but typically you only get people in Boston Picchu in your city or Charlotte wherever you playing. Now. You got the world like everyone's available. Everyone has access to. And you know it's funny. Because Kendall was asking like well. What are we GONNA do? We WanNA do. We want you to uncover. Though like, what would you do to workout? and. That's it like step back. Move that you get everybody there fall. You gotTA show he's. Like yeah no problem. I said, but you gotTA. Tell us when and why you do it. He's like Okay Kennedy I'm doing it, but if Patrick Beverley signs on. A man. I love it. pity jesuits joining us here the Dan. Lebatardshow Peter Burns and Katie George came. When you look at this. Obviously, we're just all ANSI. We want some basketball in our life. If I. Put the Jet Smith NBA Legend in Tony. Twenty, you're still young. You're suit up ready to go. How comfortable you feel about what's going on in Orlando. Well it depends on how old I am. Twenty, one, twenty, two, twenty, three I'm like. Let's go. Let's go because I had no responsibilities. you know I lived alone, no kids. You know. Mom And dad lived in New York I played soccer better. My only responsibility to me at that time you know safety, but you know thirty year old Kenny kids. Family my mom and dad moves closed. They come to visit. My have different trepidation. Concerns a would've had. Being? Younger Kenny so speak. Kenny Jay Radic earlier this week and conference call with media. He said there's absolutely no comfort level going down to the bubble. Is that the general consensus from players in the League that you've spoken with or to? Other guys feel more confident and have more trust in the League and what they've set up in Orlando. Everyone should be on the side of. Caution like everyone I. Don't think there's a person that shouldn't be. This is the you know the. Most active virus we've known. and deadly and I'll let you stood up a concern for sure. Can you when you look at this and you guys are going through, and you're getting ready to get back in and start covering these games. Let's take corona virus out of it, and it's hard to at this point, but you just talk about the questions you have for basketball in what are they? Is it as simple of Dwight Howard? In in what the what the Lakers are going to do? As far as now defensively in also getting JR Smith on this? But what are the basketball questions did you can't wait to see actually? Get answered in Orlando. Well when typically when you're? You've got three or four months off. It's a new season. So for me, you think about the improvement. That certain players make from one year to the next. You're going to see that in Orlando which is going to be different like that's not the same yama possibly. The same look like these guys that have an opportunity to assess the league and mature. And did express, and now they're coming back to me. This feels like we're starting a new league. Do. You feel like players who have said that they're worried about gearing up as quickly as possible. The Games for the remaining portion of the regular season are so important. That injury is something that is weighing on a lot of guys mind. I mean of course I would feel that way I would feel about. Where more if I was you know a guy who had just been hurt? and was just coming back when before the pandemic, like if I had just come back? From whatever injury and independent kicks then for three to four months. I wouldn't have had access to. The training facilities to continue my treatment. So then I would be a little concerned about this drop in now because I really not saying I'll be hurt, but I just wouldn't have to. You know so. I would be concerned if I was that type of Guy But anyone else like I would be like if I was Lebron like. What did I need this? You know I'm glad well healthy. You know you know I didn't need this rest. You know from a basketball stamp, but we're not talking about covert nineteen and the results of people dying. We're talking about rest for my possess. PROFESSEUR needed that. You mentioned the broad. Who Do you think benefits the most? Which team do you think compass back better stronger? Having had so many months off. Young teams? And young teams. You, know again Milwaukee's. On coming back for next season. He'll be better. You you think of Denver you take a Boston, you think Dallas. Then gets in and now Luca coming back together. That are so I would say younger teams to me because older veterans. KINDA train one way to get ready for the long haul city season where young guys a lot of times. They're like. Oh, I'm coming in day one and I could I could scholarship. And a lot of times older guys Kinda ease enter the season. Do you think that it's warranted? Some people saying you know Washington the signs they should have been included in the down to Orlando or do you think now what we've seen with the nets in different players opting out and not deciding to go that Bradley be on the Washington Wizards. Actually have a chance to get within four games. Enforce that play tournament for that eight seed. Yeah I I think the League understood that there will be parameters that some of the key players might not want to be there and you know in safeguarding those parameters now also get some interesting team. That really were mathematically close to being out. Cage Smith co-star Turner Sports inside the Joint Peter Burns and.

Towards life test the death of Verne Ganja at age eighty nine and we are I'm excited to be able to talk about what Verne Ganja meant to me. As a wrestling fan again as I did on Tuesday and what he meant to professional wrestling with two people who had a chance to follow his career closely in different roles and the first person could bring on is Mick car she worked for Verne. Ganja as part of the Awa in Las Vegas on the ESPN tapings. Mika former pro wrestling torch columnist a frequent guest here at torch live cast on Nick. Welcome back to the life cast. Kenya's this you are you there. Yeah I'm Wayne Kenny. Thinks he's doing. I'm doing great. Thank you for taking time away from busting sod to join us here on the show to appreciate it absolutely. Well I talked about what Vernon to me on Tuesday so I'm not going to repeat it today. The first wrestling show I ever went to was Verne's retirement so I came in as a fan at the end of Verne. Ghana's reign as a full time wrestler. I watched them on. Tv for years. But the first show. I got Lau was may of Nineteen eighty-one retirement match seventy thousand plus sold out crowd against Nick Balk Winkle and of course you know he made a few coming out of retirement matches but Kenny you obviously knew vern as a wrestler as an employee and as a friend. I'd love for you I to talk a little bit about your background with Ganja and how you I met him and how. You ended up on television as a wrestler. "What it is. It's, it's terse the blame game continues. The latest line coming from the spokesperson for the Chinese ministry of coma, saying the following China's stance on the Tokes has been clear if the US wants to resume talks they should show, sincerity and correct that wrong practices done. What means on I basis of equality, and mutual respect. Then the tubes can. Continue expectations of shifted so much of the last couple of weeks. We've gone from the base case pink, we're going to get a deal the base case being would probably gonna tariffs on everything. And now I think if we can just get the twenty next month without any further escalation, that would be seeing this positive critically to your good point critically. We've got a lot of guests, just assuming this will get fixed. And I'm like, I'm listening to the language. I don't hear the fix of this is the grows older, I would say, some of that is coming out that optimism is slowly paling go with that. What you just said. They're all that language about China. You could have set about Washington politics yesterday. I'm looking, I guess, at the theater of the speaker of the Senator from New York and the president and then quietly, it's about judges in. It's not a lot of theater is just terse sentences is judge a judge beaches? They say no, I think the neck. Thing is another case, and we'll see what the judges say. It's interesting that we can't find something Republicans and Democrats agree on at the moment. It's China and I think that's really interesting gun into twenty twenty this no much daylight between the candidates on China from the Democrats from the president in the White House to keep going to this so much. Let's start with Deutsche Bank hired a different message the headlines from a chairman in the president the chairman of Deutsche Bank once a global player. I didn't hear that from the president. Interestingly is the champion under pressure that this is the champion seed. How many fell turnarounds of how many? And how many CEO's this? Well, the latest Christian saving same mall. Comebacks thumbs investment banks and tell them we talked about that old cliche. You can't cut you white ticket, and that's what you still grappling with ugly two hours ago. There has been rebounded believe we are six point four zero six point four one year over and back to six point four eight euro today. And this is different than when you took your sabbatical. It's significantly risk off. There's no genius to the tape. It's risk off, as you mentioned stronger yen where we get back almost to a one on and Feddie treasury yields at Lowe's twenty nine hundred seventy three percent. We come in another two basis points. What did you hit from the fanciest tonight in the minutes? I didn't hear a federal is that was pets cut rights anytime soon. That was even FOMC going nowhere fast. Even though we price cuts in this mom, I guess they're data dependent. And we'll see what it is, again, the court thesis here, folks, and you heard at the press conference was Michael Mckee is chairman Powell is beholden to these trimmed customer inflation gauges of regional feds. Like Dallas, like Cleveland that I would suggest very service sector based in higher inflation. So data dependent. Yes. But what data point you mentioned inflation. Let's talk about the market and zentner of Morgan Stanley in the last twenty four rounds. She said the credit market will halt, the trick, potentially on paraphrasing could hold the trigger federal this next. Let's think about what led to the pal Pippa the turn of the year credit spreads on high yield approaching five fifty the primary market completely seized up. In other words, there was no issuance in the US high yield market for the whole of December now, compared that pay then to where we all now yield spreads. Go down to about four percent then now three so yes, we're a little bit wide open. Nothing. December and the prime EMA still functioning. Well, I don't want you to get you in trouble here, could tesla do a bond offering today, the so much money out there. They probably could tell them what price. I mean, it goes back, you cut back to August. Twenty seven saying, when that twenty twenty-five came to Marquette, eighty two at that maturity at that credit writing five point three percent, record-low yield. We've come from there to north of nine percent point one. It was nine point to say this credit, Marcus changed in the last two years, just on the basis that the sexiness of the equity turns in the equity market for whatever reason we're in the market twenty-seven cures. All right. Then we care about that got the tops code come on, man city coach. But one no one knows that America, the Chelsea coach never played pro soccer. He didn't. That's very cool recess salary. And he's like one of the ones that are looking at potentially an we don't know if he's leaving Chelsea's. I think a lot of people. Think he will get sack. Wrote the league final in the next couple of weeks champs here in that fun with us. No. And there's a lot of people the thing Chelsea would just sack him off the Bank gang. But won't he's on the shortlist? Goto Uganda's reportedly reportedly, you could get a management America round through the summer. I'm not sure how many people are interested in this front now. But we're just getting just getting you just getting you free. You know did he go without this yesterday? I just it just wants to get to spend. Free yesterday. Mention Kenny, Jay. Sorry for listeners, but have no idea what Tom Kaine is talking about, there is a sense of back football to the place for Chelsea code. David louise. Good told me convinced looks like Kenny G. Now, if you get a spend minute dunk, do this one, you driving to when you get to the office, Google David Louise, and you tell maybe looks like Kenny G? Response to know that for sure. There's going to be announcement about a coach in Italy. I guess it's a big deal futures what you need to know negative twenty four. We're gonna do more data checks this Bloomberg. What's up?.

"Lot more aggressive as the Tokes became formalized. The plan B thing Mr. says, there is no plan b and he's got return on tangible equity that is an outrage. I mean, it's like it's out single digit. We can't his campaign. Let's be clear this plan. This plan z is I mean, we've had some money turnaround plans for Deutsche Bank in the last five years there, it is Brexit not off the radar percolate in there's European elections. In may what what does what does British man do? I mean, what do you focus on at the moment. Yeah. I'll try and ignore all of this. I maybe you're asking me. This isn't a my right foot. It's fascinating. It's not on the newspaper pages. I mean, it's like it's disappeared. You've pushed the deadline back till October. This will back. On the front pages when we have the European elections, and you get vicious pushback back by the British election, Electra number three fed meeting stock market. Let's combine it this a stock market care about the fed. Of course, it does. That's why we've had a massive turnaround in this small Kip is off the back of the federal pivot. What was really interesting for me on Friday decent GDP per. And I know once you kick the it's not as great as it looks out for well, the market gritty tried it on last Friday with a self inflation prim get another NEC a little bit like to this morning. That's k the fed, and that's why still those fed rate cut bets still alive, and well, it's because of this tech inflation story, and what I keep hearing more and more about colleagues have written about this morning is the nineteen ninety-five mid-nineties comparison while we had that inflation type right from the fed. Did you follow game? Did you watch game of thrones? I did not know watch spoiler. There's a lot of things to spoil careful what he's doing. Spoiler on this. I will say to people you got to go back once it beginning. But all of it in particularly the first ten minutes was maybe the most beautiful television. I've ever seen. It was. So you've been up again, I'm asleep. Did you get lost? I'm always reading things I'm reading about. You know, we Cleveland last night. We're watching TV. No. But then I stay up and I read about bitcoin. What did you what did you learn about bitcoin tethers like it's like the regulators are coming in to get that come to get, you know, they're coming to get bitcoin at five one five zero in in football, Jon English football. I notice this this weekend. You know, I complain they fake they faked their hurt. There was one point there were three guys laying on the field. And you could tell they went faking do they just wear out. If this time did a couple of games left now. And yet they get really tied. I mean Davi day what's his name in blue? Who's like really good the guy that Kenny G at one point because he's he's David Louis. Whatever. He just he just sat down, and he was really hurt in. He's clearly signaling to the bench. You can't let me think David Louise. Kenny, Jay, no. But there are lessons that follow the game place..

"This is one of my favorite people in the bond space. I know you've booked him for a long two sets here because you really want. Bob, Michael to get you going your property. Your time job parttime, Bob, Michael J, P Morgan asset management CIO. His full-time job is our premiership football. Correspondent. Yes. Five mil. Bob co Liverpool Wofford what happened last night news yesterday five now. Yeah. Where where they're taking this seriously, Bob, you, actually. Okay. Well, then let's continue. Let's continue this right now. I mean, I'm watching last night because Bob to make a long story short feral couldn't see tots Chelsea. So he's going to me to give them a play by play. Untouched. Chelsea. And everybody's starting to really get rough. Bob, you know, they're like they're not swinging and throwing punches, but it's really physical. They should do that a lot more. Don't you think? It's a physical game. It's it's real football out there and we're getting to the business end of the season. Now, everyone wants to be in that top four. I like playoffs at hockey. And you know, I know we gotta go on to talk about total return German inflation rate just out one point seven percent says it all but just one final point John. I mean, we have huge mail this morning on Harry Kane is with a tots. Harry going up against Kenny G on sidelines. Mike, he'll tell takes the David Lewis looks like Kenny Jay. And if you don't know who he's paper, LA Google. Can we talk about markets manages a couple of dollars for Jammie gamut as well, Bob, what is going on with global fixed income and one thing you always tell me, and it always sticks. With me is people get too, greedy. They sit on the sidelines waiting for something to happen. It ain't happening. Is that like your line still, Bob? It is. And and I you know, I I've been traveling around meeting with clients, and I'm telling them we're in bond market nirvana right now and their jaw drops to the floor. And I said look it's been raising rates for over three years. Look at where government bond yields are relative to a few years ago there are substantially higher. We just went through a fourth quarter collapse in equity, it took out the credit market spreads widened. You have a chance to get in their wider than where you could have gotten in over the last couple years and more importantly, there's been a policy shift, the fed and the other central banks have tilted dovish. They've called a truce on us bond investor so short I'd like to buy high yield at eight to ten percent. I've got to buy it at six to seven percent. I'd like ten year treasuries had four or five percent. You know, what two point seven percent, isn't so bad. This is really important an advance. Question folks will stay with me here. There's a fabulous index out the marriage move index which shows the volatility of the bond market, it's vixen, quivalent, etc. Etc. Bob, you're living in a world. That's been dampened down. Like, we've never seen it. Do you apply that that increases the fat tails where you get a jump condition in the bond space with big moose in price? Big moves in yield. Or is that off the Mark? No, no, it's true. You what happens is you get complacent because the central banks. Now, it looks like the fed will continue to maintain its balance sheet size around here. So that will take the volatility out of the market. And and you have to be careful that if you're sitting on these trades to be aware of of the orthogonal come in and disrupt them, so so you will get these big moves it puts more pressure on the central banks and to to respond to them and and try to calm the markets down. So or or sock and all is something that comes in at at a different angle than what you anticipate, so call it unexpected or unanticipated, you're you're you're more or less fat towel. So you have to be aware of them. I don't think you should get rattled by them, particularly if the fundamental flick. Okay. And and you anticipate or policy response comes in. High yield default rates are going to drop from here you've got Claire stores, and I heart are falling out of the indices. I think that's all very positive. You could default rates down around one percent what the fed has done is. It's extended the cycle. We'll see I think actually before we should get concerned. There could be good news that comes from some sort of trade compromise. And and then I think you could see credit tightness significant amount, then I might think about taking some profits. Our team here at Bloomberg by Molly Smith done some great coverage on the debt diet, the beliefs that this is the year of the debt diet with companies like AT and T G focusing on the balance sheet to ensure they on downgraded. Do you have any faith in the C suites ability to avoid the downgrades? Yeah. I do. I think that that's certainly over the last couple of years. We felt companies did the right thing to lever up their balance sheet does those that don't feel they could get through the next few years with the debt and they've got are selling asset. It's a good time to sell assets 'cause you're still an expansion and using that to retire debt. So I think there's good fiscal responsibility in corporate America right now. "Wally carville. He was a referee was he before that a wrestler and didn't he become an announcer? I'm associating Wally carbo with more than just officiating Wally carbo, never wrestled. But he was a referee. And he was a co owner of the American wrestling alliance with Verne ganja, but he was a member of the national wrestling alliance before Vern and Wally went into business for themselves. And what Wally did was? He was the front, man. He was the promoter. He was the guy that came out on the interviews with Marty O'Neill and would tell Marty that certain wrestler would be fined and suspended or or he's going to have to accept this match or else. And Marty was the guy that you know, basically was the the front guy while Vern ganja all during the sixties was the wrestler that no one knew was really co owner of the company back in those days. Let's go back to the phones. And Diane was a huge wrestling fan. Diane, you're on with George Shire high. You know, I'm a huge wrestling fan. I gotta get the book. I gotta get the book. Thank you anyhow. My mother used we are we are starting to the matches up the time every Saturday. We never miss the match. My mother worked at that. Turn crystal and every every week Larry Hennig would come in CASAs check. And he'd always come to mom and give us some us for the rest of matches. And my and my teacher was not Nick kills wedding. Great my manager at GNC went to school with one of the road warriors. Now, do you have a question for George Diane? I have a question for whatever happened to Reggie parks. Reggie parks is still living and he's in Omaha Nebraska. And for those fans that don't know arts was known as the man with the iron stomach. He was a baby faced which is known as a good guy and he had an iron stomach. So that was his gimmick. And they would even do little vignettes on TV where Reggie would have a Volkswagen bus drive over his stomach or something like that. And he could take it was great stuff, Reggie parks guy, and he's still alive, and he's in Omaha Nebraska. Yes. But how's the Volkswagen bus? Well, that's probably got. I wanted to touch on the guy before the break. We asked about red basking and Hercules Cortez. Yes. I'd like to answer. His question. Redback dean. Sadly just passed away a year ago this past August. But red bass dean was a local Minnesota wrestler for Minnesota from Roosevelt high. He started in what I had mentioned earlier, the carnivals and read the learned his trade here in Minnesota. And then went on to become a outstanding professional wrestler all over the country in Australia, and Japan and read was also one of the just most genuine guys, you could ever meet tonight was honored when he'd call me up, and we'd talk and I even Adam at my house, and he's just a great guy. And I was sad to see him go. You also mentioned Hercules Cortez. Hercules, Cortez died in a car accident, sadly in July of nineteen seventy one when he and coincidentally red bass dean were driving back from Winnipeg Canada after having ruffled on a card up there. And Hercules Cortez for fans that don't know was about six foot four three hundred pounds really really a muscular wrestler from Spain. And he investing where the champions Cortez fell asleep at the wheel lost control. And he was killed in the crash. And so that was one of the tragedies of wrestling as well because the guys did so much traveling on the road in those days in the fifties and the sixties and into the early seventies. They would pile into a car and head from town to town sometimes two three four five hundred miles in between and the the travel was their enemy. Sometimes there were other wrestlers that lost their lives. You know, traveling, but Cortez was local and fans recognized him. Incredible. Let's go to Brooklyn park. Chubby your home with your child. Hey, I'm gonna totally get your book to George. Thank you. I must I grew up watching all star wrestling, I Saturday's and besides the. The popular big names. There was also that all these that circle of the guys who always lost all the time like Tedeschi of Woody Wilson. But. Kevin j was probably one of the more well-known died like that. And I was wondering if you knew anything about this max that he was in with Hamad Ali. Oh, sure. Sure. Back in nineteen seventy six Vince McMahon junior. Who is now the owner of the world, wrestling entertainment. That's today's wrestling he along with a joint venture of several promoters around the country put on what they called a mixed martial arts match, and they had Mohammed Ali who is going to take on the wrestler Antonio Inoki from Japan. And so they had Mohammed Ali go into several exhibitions before he got into the ring with a gnocchi, and they had them held around the in different cities, one of the city's what's Chicago and Mohammed Ali actually went couple of rounds with Kenny Jay who was one of what you call the the the. The losers of wrestling because Kenny Jay never one Kenny j just went out there and he put other wrestlers over. And what that means is that when a guy like mad dog Fashanu was wrestling. Kenny Jay mad dog was going to win and Kenny Jay what's to make you know, just make it look good for a little bit. And then he would lose that was his job. He was known as a jobber. And that's what a lot of those guys were called. But nonetheless, they were great talents. They laced up their boots and worked as hard as as the boys that got pushed, and that was the exhibition with Kenny Jay. And then also Mohammed Ali went into an exhibition match with buddy Wolfe who was a local wrestler that Verne gone. You had a hand in training. And I think fans can actually go on YouTube and find that match Mohammed Ali versus buddy Wolfe, and you can see the exhibition on their incredible. W thank you so much for the call. Let's go to Jim in nursing, Paul, Jim. You're George Shire. Okay. Yep. I used to go to. The wrestling matches in the late forties and one night when I went down there leelanau millennia was doing his first time he'd ever wrestled in a tag team with he and Brock on the gerski. Sure. And I think they register as members right? They wrestle the calicoes the Russians. And it was a little blood drawn from the Russians at night. Well, the cough brothers as I talked with L one time here not too long ago Ivan and killed Kalmykov, and they were billed as Russians and they were successful for about ten straight years traveling around the country, probably one of the most celebrated bad guy tag teams. But they they were they were on top wherever they went because they drew money and Leona Malini as you mentioned was a great football player for the San Francisco Giants after leaving the NFL he got into wrestling burn ganja was one of his closest friends. And of course, here in Minnesota NAMA Leaney was teamed with ganja Wilbur Snyder and other wrestlers back in the early sixties and late fifties. And then also you mentioned Bronco gerski Bronco was also a great great football player and a great wrestler later on and he and burned. Novel lenient others worked together as well. Yeah. Not novel alien guy played together on nine hundred forty nine gopher football team. Right. Yeah. To two very talented athletes without question. Jim. Thank you so much for the call rich. You're coming up in Indiana. George in Fridley, you're on deck. We have a couple of lines open at six five one nine eight nine nine two two six George Shire is our guest the book, Minnesota's golden age of wrestling from Verne ganja to the road warriors written by our guest, George Shire on eight three oh, WC CEO Martin.

"And I mean, can you imagine watching rocky for for the first time knowing the events of Cree to it has to make it an entirely different experience than we had. Yes, it's got to be and for kids who love today's music going back to watch that film and having to listen to what survivor and John Kathy. And put on my missing out who else is in that film like Kenny Jay, go west. They might find the film somewhat unbearable just because of the music alone. But I loved it. I did. And I remember I still remember the day. I went and saw rocky for and I loved all those, you know, all that cheesy music back then and still do so. But you're right. If they're if the thirteen year old that was sitting in front of me goes back and watches rocky for he's I think he's going to be bit. Puzzled to a certain extent. And the amazing thing is I've shown rocky talked about going back and revisiting the older films. I've shown rocky to to younger younger people and their thoroughly bored at times, I'm like are. You kidding me? Because ritual rocky has almost an independent movie like film, film, quality two dozen. Yes, sure. And in the seventies for whatever wrote ever reason, you know, audiences were more willing to sit back and let stories unfold, and you know, we kinda got that with the independent film resurgence in the nineties. But yeah, just seeing I mean, if you watch a lot of seventies movies is I think it's really interesting to think of how audience, you know, what are willing to put up with dictates how films get made? And I'm sure that's a completed for discussion. We can have enough time. But no, yeah longtime. Yeah. Long long time. Yeah. But it, but it's amazing that that film. You know, here we are if we go you wanna talk about the art going from rocky to creed to in just the difference. Right. Put that on a double Bill, rocky and Crete. Yeah. I do think that creed to has a lot more in common with you know, rocky or rocky to than it does with rocky four. Interesting. What your take on that? Well, I mean, just in the fact that it's two hours, you know, two plus hours, and there's a pretty long stretch creed to where we don't have any entering action. And you know, there's it's if you were flipping through the commercials or or through the channels when this hits cable, it would be probably a while. If if you catch it at the right time before you realize that the boxing movie. Is a good point. Yeah. That's a very good point same for. Of course, rocky one as you said, there's a lot. There's a lot of of non action in it. Right. I mean, a long long time before the lead up to the the final fight. And then the other thing is it. There's not that much fighting in the final fight. If you really look at it and comparison. It's just a wonderful film. I it's right up there with if I were to do like, a top five films of all time, you've got like rocky and all the president's men and broadcast news, and and twit see and there's four right there so Rockies, right? Amongst me, the greatest films of all time. Yeah. And you know, and that's why I've never sort of given people a pass that say, oh, you know, rocky wasn't a deserving best picture winner. And I, you know, I call a call Bs on that at and I mean, it deserves every bit of respect it gets. And also the fact that we're sitting here in two thousand eighteen talking about the eighth entry in that sort of universe. There's not a lot of movies that people can talk about forty plus years later. Yeah. It's very good point. That people are gonna wanna listen to us talk about. I mean. You know, or maybe not. I'm just kidding. But, but I think the enduring the enduring, you know, love of of rocky is all the evidence, you need of of how and how much of an impact that movie made on on society. And I think it supports reflected in box office. I think people just gravitate toward to to feel good. You're you're absolutely right about that. So wrapping up the the creed to discussion. And then I have another question asked before we we close the show. What do you what do you give it?.

"I mean, he's part of the reason why you can't. Well, you your your issue of how? How can you trust? Gordon? Gronk Ataman heavy and all that is both positions. It he affects the wide receivers see affects the running backs, and he is I think one of the only trustworthy assets, the problem is he's not the trustworthy asset you want. What you want is Sony to be the trustworthy asset. Because you want him to have all the all the cares. You want Gordon to be the trustworthy asset? Because you want them to have the the deep bomb touchdowns. Instead, the trustworthy asset is the guy. Ding Dong getting getting you a few fantasy points here, and there he's much more valuable in PR leagues. But yeah, I mean. Every every patriot is start -able because every single one of them has a Jonah ceiling, but even James Devlin. I'm not playing Devlin. But you know, the Devlin's in the details. Devlin's in the details. You know, I do agree. I worry big time with paid. You're lucky. You have the soundboard. I know patriots have like you said they've ruined people's fantasy playoffs the last few years. And you know, I it could it could start this week in what looks like a juicy matchup. Yeah. I'm just hoping my grunk boat. Doesn't turn into a submarine. Yeah. Yeah. Or maybe I do because then we're all still alive. Say some are safe underwater. Sounds like we're onto something. Mike analogies. I feel like Bill Bill shaky like he kind of lives on your fantasy losses. Like, that's his. That's what feeds him his soul on the other side of the dolphins. This weird six and six Miami dolphin team. According to rich rebar, the Miami's the only team in the league to score more touchdowns from outside the red zone than inside take that for what you will. It's strange. They have a strange running back rotation. Kenyan drake. I love my cookie. Yeah. I'm just saying can you? Drake's the reason why they squirrel their touchdowns for far away. Is it I think so he's fast. Okay. Try to catch him try to catch him. So you're playing Kenyan Drake this week at home. Sure. Yeah. I like can you drink? That's exactly my answer forever. Kenny Jay questions. Sure. Well, we've said this from the beginning, can you? Drake's the type of player you have to you have to take your lumps to get the greatness to to find the coals that turned into diamonds. You got to boot. Yet, the you know the reference. Okay. All right. Yeah. So can you take if you can't start him in a matchup like this that projects at least with for the patriots be able to score and put a points at is your shutdown running back? So is he a running back when he gets only like four carries a game datum geese fair point. Yeah..

I was thinking swear I could tell at least you were doing something this hour. It is eight eight eight nine four what what happened. Well, let me ask you what have you done so far for the show this hour. Well done that even play interviews. So not a whole. In fact, I've got another one right now it is paying Bondi. Pam Bondi is the attorney general the great state of Florida, and she's a Republican. She, of course, is out campaigning for for Scott out campaigning for for Ron to scientists. And they cut up a little while ago. Pam, I appreciate you. How are you? Hey, I'm doing great. It's a it's a great day in Florida. It really is just got back from Florida yesterday. I grew up down there as you probably know my mom's deliver my sisters live down there. So we actually hung out with Rick Scott. We did a rally with him in Boynton beach. And we did some great radio. We had an Coulter on it. That's a hot state right now. I mean, Rick Scott, I think he's gonna win. But it's tighter than can be. And then when it comes to the Santa's in Gillam, it's almost a tossup. But we feel good about the Santa's talk to me about what you're hearing. As you're on the campaign trail, shaking hands and kissing babies. Well, Joe I have been all over the state in the last couple of days from south Florida to the tip of the panhandle with Rudy Giuliani with Ron Santa with Rick Scott with all of our great Republican candidates. Ashley moody to replace me badly that she's wonderful. I was just left. Laura Trump, Laura was listen, Saint Petersburg, Florida. And let me tell you Rick Scott. We have got to have him as our next US Senator Marco needs them and the president needs. Have pain? What's the deal a Bill Nelson? The guy goes away every four six years, and he shows back up, and he thinks he should be the Senator I don't I don't understand why why that's attractive to voters when you've got a guy who's been a great governor who cannot continue looking out for Floridians in Washington. Well, well, I know it's not every few years. It's been for the last over forty two years in an office and only shows that frankly for a press off. You know, Rick Scott has turned our date around. We're in the best shape. We've ever been in President Trump has turned our country around. And that's why the this is so very important in if someone asked me the other day name one thing Bill, Nelson, STAN, and I said I can name three hundred he's voted for higher taxes over three hundred times since she's been in the Senate, and you know, only less than one percent of the bills that have passed. I don't think even has the greatest voting record of showing up versus a business. I mean, he's. No. Demise is your career politicians eurocrat? Right. And Rick Scott is a successful businessman. Rick Scott, does it need this job. Rick Scott didn't need to be governor. Rick, Scott, deeply cares about our state. I know firsthand 'cause I've worked side by side with him for eight years, and he has hit it out of the park is our governor, and he just cancelled all campaign events to help the panhandle. Right working tirelessly. I think the only time I've gotten out of him in eight years because he hasn't been sleeping enough because he's been working in.

I because I've worked side by side with him for eight years, and he has hit out of the park is our governor, and he just cancelled all campaign events to help the panhandle. Right working tirelessly. I think the only time I've gotten mad at him in eight years because he hasn't been sleeping enough because he's been working in the panhandle nonstop. Hi fights tirelessly for our state. And that's what we need for our country. Just like Marco Marco needs a partner in Florida NBC and the president certainly needs them and share the way we're gonna win this people have to vote, and if you voted already go get your friends, your co workers, your neighbors, anybody, you know, and take them out there to vote tomorrow morning, please. We have got to keep the US Senate. I cannot agree with you more. It's Pam Bondi. Let's let's talk about the the governor's race there. This one is really really interesting to me because Indra Gillam is an open borders guy. He doesn't want borders. He's also a far left wing socialist. He's proud to socialist. He thinks we can do Medicare for all thirty two trillion dollar Bill that that nobody can pay. And these also even forgetting all that which I think makes him unelectable he's also been a horrible mayor of Tallahassee here. He's overseen a city a real by crime and by murder, and let's not even bring up the Hamilton tickets, which I guess there's some sort of an investigation now at the FBI level of an undercover agent allegedly gave him these tickets for nothing, which is corruption. Why is even in this race? What what's what's the deal here? Well, you know, he had Bernie Sanders come out and support him. And and then he just took off. And you know, he's got all these actors and celebrities out there for him. And you you said everything about him. I mean, they're they're two vastly different candidate. You've got a guy who bought I mean, people he bought tickets from an undercover FBI agent who is tracking him. And then wasn't honest about it. I mean, it's unbelievable. You bring you bring that up. He brings up race for some reason. It's about about him being black which descent is never said you and I have never said, I don't care. What racy is corruption is corruption corruption is corruption and the crime rate has been through the roof and Tallahassee. So that's. That's what you have on one side. Then look at the other side, you have Ron Santa's smart guy who chose to serve our country. Here's a combat veteran. He was invited Jack. But then he was a federal prosecutor. He's a businessman. He and I'll tell you Casey to Sanchez wife is going to be a great first lady that I mean, he is doing this because he cares about state of Florida. And that's what we have to have. Now every great thing that Rick Scott is done. For our for our state Gillam could undo in the first month in obvious, basically said he wants to he wants free everything, and you cannot do that. You can't have free everything. It's great to tell college kids are going to have free everything. But you know, that's that's the socialism way. And that just doesn't work. We have. Trying to Santa's is not gonna raise taxes. He's going to help our education system. He's gonna keep all these jobs that have come to our state in the last eight years. Well, over a million thanks to Rick Scott. It's going to be undone. And then, you know, me as chief law enforcement officer and legal officer for the last eight years fighting crime loving and respecting our first responders our men and women in uniform. You got a guy like Gillam who signs this dream defender pledge and will not come off that pledge that he signed, and they are completely anti law enforcement and he wants to run our state. It's this should not happen. Cannot happen on the fourth generation Floridian. I love my state, and everyone's gotta get out there and vote Republican Rick Scott, Rhonda, Santa's Ashley moody for my job Jimmy Petronas, chief financial officer, and Matt Caldwell for add Commissioner people have to look up this dream defenders thing because that should make him as well. It's it's actually disgusting last quick question pan that we haven't spoken in a long time, and hopefully we can speak again next week after all of this is over. But what's next for you? I think you can do anything. Thank you. I don't take my job. I think that you'd be great at my don't take my job. This is. You know? It's it's it's it's interesting today. I I I've told us today. It's been really sad for me because I'm still attorney general, of course, three January that I have on fourteen hundred employees I loved that office. And I stayed there for eight years, and it wasn't running for something else. And I love my office. But I'm very sad. Because I love what I do. But I know there's gonna be a great person. And Ashley maybe who's going to come in and do even a better job. I feel for Florida and sad. But I truly haven't decided, and and I just hope I get I decided to do something where I get to help people still. I'm sure you will. Because you've been an amazing attorney general. Thank you so much for doing such a great job for that state. Let's talk again, very soon. Sure. And tell my friend, Laura, I said, hi, I think the world of her. I will do that. She's up next. Right. Thanks. We'll talk to you very soon. Pam Bondi, the attorney general the great state of Florida. They just sorta ended there. I actually have I told you did six hundred years before the show. Yeah. We're told you in for the people you did get ten to grab a quick phone call here. Let me say Hello. And welcome to Bill. You hold on a second. I don't wanna give you short shrift you've been on for an hour. But it's going to be Duke who's a lot shorter. Only got a minute Duke. Sorry. But but I want you to make it happen. Let's go go. Joe? I just wanted to tell you that most of these politicians are not defining socialism for millennials. So they understand it what they should say right off the bat is that social means that they know that no one has any property rights, for example, their mother and father won't be able to give them the titles of their home when they die. The state will take it over. And Furthermore state becomes the sole stock hold of all corporations in the country. It all these to rationing and scarcity, but the important thing that the politicians should get across that social means no property rights. No property title. In means. That the state has titled to your property. It means that you can't inherit your home from your parents. It means that you can't if you're a farmer. You can't never to land from your parents because the state owns it. Listen. Use any good. You just described it perfectly and scap. I gotta run. I appreciate you know, very well said we come back is going to be Mercedes slapped from the administration.
