He spent his early childhood living in various parts of the United States and three years living on the island of Okinawa Okinawa Japan after graduating university with a degree in English he was commissioned and officer in the Marines. He served fifteen years active duty before deciding to break out from the bought that his father and brother at followed in making the military. Career and left the Marines to pursue a life as a civilian, he joined Cisco Systems in two thousand six and shortly thereafter discovered yoga. Don't do it insightful and sometimes silly. It blends elements of Yoga with quantum physics to bring the esoteric together with the practical for eight, truly unique perspective of how the mind works in greeting easily understood self development plans that create lasting change for a more fulfilling life so. These are some clues or hints into our. We might be speaking about today. David really great to have you on our show, and are you ready to inspire? So, glad to be here. Thank you for the introduction. Absolutely a registered with your audience stories and things that have worked things that haven't worked, but the the growth that the journey of life is so absolutely wonderful, so I start. Let's talk about your child to begin with. What was it like growing up in your house or in your home? Yeah, it's. We had a loving very loving nurturing environment. And everybody grows up with their sense of normal, and so for me. My sense of normal was we moved every two to three years. And? What I didn't realize was a lot of that created. Beliefs in me. Just, really long relationships you a one day. You might best friends and the next day I'm moving because. I'd I'd got orders to a new duty station. And so this is certainly before the age of the Internet. And on facebook and chatting and texting, and so our French just stopped But it was great to you know on the on the flip side. It was great to see different parts of the country and early age great certainly live in Japan for for three years now got to South Korea got the Philippines there, and and just being exposed to different parts of the world at that age had tremendous impact that still with me. Today got it. So that moving know that having a friend and losing the friend because you're moving to another city are part of the country. What sort of impacted that have on you in retrospect because I remember. When I was a kid, it happened the other way for me. 'cause I used to have a friend, and then he would move to a different city. Burns would get relocated and deep down. I felt that I could. Could never have a longtime friend. I always wanted to have that best friend as kids. We WanNa feel accepted. We want to have that friendship. You want to feel that you love as a property, but the fact that every time I made a friend, either he would move to a different city or I would move schools and I. Don't know I'm still discovering how that has me long, but how did that? You, don't affect you. Know for sure it really did. It created to beliefs that I took with me into my adult life, and so one of those. Relationships end and so. I just didn't fully appreciate the currency of a rich relationship in rich friendship, and what that meant and certainly had some. as I went you know as I grew up in I still remember this guy comes to mind Jason. Who is my best friend? When we lived through Japan, we stayed touch for years afterwards when his family moved to Virginia, moved North Carolina. But I just didn't appreciate that keeping someone in having a lifelong friend. was really something that I could have and. So that was one belief that just friendships and relationships ended I started carried. You know I've got great friends from high school still. is a long time, but the other believe really that it created was. When it came to romantic relationships, and so, if you have this dynamic that in some cases, relationships end well when it comes to romance, and you almost of have to go all in because you're trying to shore up this relationship before you get to the point where it's GonNa end. And so I became super romantic. I became a really romantic person. I wrote poems. I think when. Other people? In certainly later part of high school into college, discovering physical intimacy I was still kind of looking at romantic. But that you know those those two beliefs I really took with me through big part, my dot life, too I think was only through. Kenner the last you know five or six years that I really awoke to them and realized the power they'd have of me and was able to let them go. Thanks Norfolk shedding. It's interesting how one incident or two incidents. Are you know these things that happen to ourselves? Student Avenue Affect Different aspects of our life, even as we're adults, and only when we sort of. DIG The dive to shine the light on those parts of is which are now in the dock realize. Wow, that that did affect me right, so thanks a lot for sharing now your father and your brother will vote Marines right so what ruled deeply as you're growing up in your decisions, especially as far as the Yeah, you know it's it's funny. It was very creative growing up and I think that was part of the. Reality of not having consistent friend that I went from Grade School. All the way up to high school with I got really creative, so I wrote. I I drew I was very artistic. And in high school actually got something published You know a piece of A. Short story published honorable mention in a magazine nationally. I just thought that everybody can do that I just I didn't realize that it was. The writing was something that I just excel that a little bit so? When it came time to look at life after high school I remember my my dad's down. He said listen. You will pay for part of you're going to pay for the other half and. Get naked scholarship that's great. If not you might look at ROTC and join the military and. I guess one of the beliefs that I I grew up with it mentioned. Was I learned to hate the marine? Corps Because I blame them for always moving around and so. I thought. Okay, if I have to do military scholarship. I'm going to do that, but I'm not going to join the marines because no and. And so and there wasn't any you know. My Dad didn't push me. My brother was kind of going down that path as well. And I got into college and I was going to go into the. and. So every semester when you do ROTC program. You have to do a class for ROTC. And, so the class is like naval weapons system, so it's Kinda like missiles and stuff. It's really cool and second semester. Its naval like engineering like the actual ships engineering, and my mind is a liberal arts mind, and so I started him mechanical engineering just GonNa blacked out. Going to be good. I get to the grains. And so, that's kind of the pathway that took me down. That was you know I know the Maria familiar with them I grew up in the Marine Corps and so that was the path I decided to say.

A Look Back at Soviet Aircrafts

"These Soviet airplanes these pictures. This is kind of cool. Jeb Yeah You posted an folks that we're GonNa talk about pictures I'm GonNa try and describe them for you. I promise This is a a picture of photo montage if you will on on a website called Hush Kit dot net which I'd never heard of before Jeb. Something you look out on a regular. I don't look at it Ronald Regular base. It's been around for some time. Yeah it's subtitles itself. The Alternative Aviation magazine. Yeah which which. We have several. I would be high. No right yeah but hushkits been around a while. This is this is simply a photo essay. somebody or somebody's have had put together a collection of Images from various Russian slash Soviet Outdoor Museum outdoor storage area. Something love that sort and a lot of interesting aircraft Some that have you know. We've we've heard of we've seen before Some of them Perhaps not some interesting helicopters. failed Research craft things of this sort. And it's just a completely interesting to me. It is it is kind of interesting. It's Let's see if there's any of the jump out here at me Well the space plane of course is a whole different almost different categories. There's a what do they call it. The mid one zero five is apparently. It's number and it's it's well we only have one shot. We have two shots but the same shot repeated twice here looking straight down the nose of this thing Looks like it's a little you know sort of a two cylinder shuttle. Yeah exactly the space shuttle with kids and no wheel. Yeah no wheels up. Well you know and the Russians have always been notorious for the way they decide to bring spacecraft back to Earth if you ask me anything. Notorious notorious sure. Yeah that's that's the word I'm going with So Yeah skids and You know we're looking straight down the nose. So the the Heat Shield I presume. The Heat Shield is kind of Prominent in this picture stubby little wings. But I guess it doesn't need an awful lot of wings and yeah it's It says the mid one zero five was an experimental space painting built in support of the spiral program. Whatever that was I would imagine that some sort of Russian space program. I guess Google is your friend. Did you Google it already? I have not okay What else is interesting here? The the bear bomber. I thought was interesting. So the the the bear bear like her bare grubby. Er that T- you ninety five is the number. Is it here? That aircraft is still in service. Isn't it is. Yeah Yeah Yeah that aircraft. Are you know a representative of that? was I think exit two flights of two had penetrated the Alaskan. Eight is. Yeah I heard that. And then they get a little a little feisty where they were greeted. Yes appropriately yeah. The thing I found interesting about first of all when I was just kind of first skimming these pictures I looked at it and I thought Oh. Connie that's a constellation clone. All right and maybe it is but because it has that kind of thin long thin look to it and so the other thing. Though it's notable about it is first of all it's propeller-driven are they still constellation clown in here. You're not I'm not a of the bear ninety. Okay thin yeah I get that okay. Yeah yeah in Kenner its turboprop. Yeah for four engines with Counter rotating props on each engine. Yeah it had to be a hell of a gearbox to design holy-moly. Well here's my question. Is it for engines or eight engines? Four engines it. It certainly four NACELLE. Sometimes they do weird gear shaft driveshaft things to drive each proper. The different mobile. I don't know I'm GonNa let you Google at this tile. I'll go that way. Engines Abe propellers. Yeah eight thanks. Thanks to the counter. Rotating the other another signature feature of T. Ninety five. Is it loud? Is it really. Yeah I've I've seen where You know like Navy Airforce Pilots escorting bears in his Co. Over the noise of their own aircraft can hear really the proper noise from the bears. If nothing yeah the problem is if nothing else I would imagine. These counter rotating coaxial. Props are like making crazy turbulence. Know exactly exactly. That's exactly what's going on. Is that a disproven technology. The whole idea of having coaxial counter rotating sellers to work well for the bears. The bears ninety five and there was a civilian airliner version of the same basic airframe Sweat Khrushchev flew to the US. Back in the fifties The airplanes been in service. Sixty plus seventy seventy years. So it's it's very much there'd be fifty two Well Kinda SORTA in terms of errors. I'm not necessarily talking about the technology and it has the same mission right sister strategic bomber. Right I would not want to suggest that I know much about okay should match what I've always understood. David What are you? What's your understanding about? The bear. The to Nineteen ninety-five bear. What's its primary mission? It was very much the counterpart to the beef fifty two young and threw it blew their strategic response. Patrols like R. E. Fifty. Two's flu you know the patrols when we had aircraft in the air ready to drop nukes somewhere. Twenty four seven three sixty five and if you go back through photo archives from the Air Force you'll see more than a few there of and NATO aircraft encountering the the bear right on the edge of our airspace right loitering around out there. That's been known to fly low over our navy. Fleet was taking pictures. Yeah like JEB. Said just recently one of them busted the eight is up or or nearly did they actually busted or nearly. But there's keep in mind. The aid is international airspace designate. Say Hey you know. We'll be looking at you if you're in this airspace. It's not the same as penetrating are. Got It okay Territorial

Clervoy end and me a psychic and owner of Psychic Boutique here in Ashland Oregon and I asked him a question about a Ouija board. Got a really interesting answer so I thought it would only be appropriate to store in today's podcast about of Ouija board in the small seaside town of Dungeon a spay. The bodies of seventy five year old Eric Warden to seventy two year old life billboard were found on the beach without a mark on either body their clothes were so would sea water. An autopsy reported indicated. That water was found in their lungs. The bodies were discovered by a jogger whose tracks were the only ones found on the beach when the police arrived locals testified that the couple were often seen walking the beach. At twilight. The couple's adult son Clayton Ward. Came up from California but after three weeks of intense investigation no suspects were revealed and Clayton had to get back to his job as technology specialist for the Silicon valley giant apple but his parting comment to the Dungeness Bay. Police was when he returned he'd be able to identify the murder of his parents in eighteen. Ninety one a patent was granted to Elisha bond for the OUIJA board but one of the first mentions of the method used with the Ouija board is found in Asia around eleven hundred eighty in historical documents from that era but the design we know today was based on the talking boards of Ohio produced by Charles Kenner following the American civil war. Mediums did significant business in presumably allowing survivors to contact lost relatives. But talking board would be created named in Baltimore Maryland in eighteen ninety but the use of talking bores was so common in eighteen. Eighty six that. The News reported the phenomena as taking over the spiritualist camps in Ohio. Six months after his first visit to Dungeness Bay Clayton more return with a list of clues. He assured police that if followed would lead them to the murder of his. Paris seven days later after following the various clues. Police brought in Steve Hawks. The grounds keeper employed by the wards who under intense interrogation confessed to the drowning of the couple. He claimed that Eric had kept a large amount of cash in a safe that he planned on taking it. He was unable to explain how he was going to get into the safe. However when asked by the police where he got the clues Clayton Ward replied that he belong to a small group that used the Ouija board to solve crimes and when his father was contacted. His father's spirit told him. Steve had knocked him unconscious and then dragged them into the waves thinking they would be washed to sea where they would drown but he was on a word that it was low tide and they'd be washed up on the beach with the changing tide. Further Toll Clayton that. If the police went to Steve's house they would find the bloody tire. Iron used to knock them unconscious. Clayton returned to California when the police attempted to contact him with further questions about the clues. They found his address. Non-existent phone number disconnected and no record of employment at the Apple Corporation. The investigator that was brought in on the case discovered that Eric Milroy Ward owned a Ouija board and from a journalist kept learned that they were often the host of a spirit called. Zuzu Richie Board users will tell you that Zuzu is that demon spirit of the Ouija board and that sometimes she becomes protective of those of hold the door open through the board that allows him to enter this world. "I hear zero down um on loans of any kind at kenner scares me and i wonder if were going down that route that whole again yeah so a that's that's something i always pay i think to carry can reassure us that that's not the case the uh the veterans have always had zero down program and other via loans are still monk what you said before they they're so amongst the very very bad in turn to performance of vets payoff but in terms of other loans is no such thing as era down and anywhere else that i'm aware of not convention on any kind of conventional fashion and and the vetting for mortgages is substantially more than when you've got here zero down back in two thousand six when you you were saying hearing to sign peace paper you got your money i didn't give them anything i said my signature and i i swore up and down i pay it back and those were the stated income stated asset they are eager to sign a piece of paper tell him he i make a million dollars a year and i got ten million of the bank where do i sign and then he will let you by ten houses and what it so i was shocked that's not the case anymore he leads a breathy god alone that's about how it was you know people say that that he knows zero down uh with va it it doesn't scare me a um there is a program to s fyi that just came out to which means they are loosening a little bit but on an fha financing you put three and a half percent down and then you can if you qualify for didn't guidelines are much stricter but you if you can qualify for a silence second mortgage that that brings in your full nina three and a half percent down higher rates of course and all that.

"Right there's gotta be ice i would assume there's got to be like an akwa fax for europe right i mean i would think maybe i'm wrong but you know it one of the things that the gdp are requires that you have consent mean you actually have to have like actual consent from the data subjects to have their data yeah the entire business model that affects works on him would not work in that in environment that's for sure yes sir an interesting uh you know one at one of the point i want to make was years kenner wrapping up a my earlier thought to was we is infosec professionals half to learn to deal with this risk acceptance by executives even if we completely disagree even if we think they're crazy that is the job right in a we cannot force the business to do thinks we we have to convince we have to control we have to proof uh but at the end of the day we don't have unlimited budget we don't have unlimited impacts and we will always have risk there's no way to get zero rate soared os or job is to in two then properly prioritize then properly communicate right as best we can and we go back to i was under the shows which is you know we're communicating risk but are the executives remaking the wrist decisions truly understanding what we say are we communicating properly and that's a whole different topic but i wonder about that absolutely.
