"Chief of Frisco, Texas. His officers made a mistake when they held an Arkansas family at gunpoint during a traffic stop. Police stopped the car last Sunday on the north or on the Dallas North Tollway, and one of the officers inadvertently entered the Arkansas license plate as coming from Arizona. The officers believed the car was stolen after no records came up. Then one officer drew a gun on the family of four. A Democratic congressman says the additional charges accusing former President Trump of wanting to destroy evidence demonstrates a consciousness of guilt. Speaking on these this week, Dan Goldman of New York says the superseding indictment shows Trump knew his actions and conduct were wrong when Mitch McConnell, the 81 year old leader of Senate Republicans, froze up at a news conference last week. The incident inevitably raised the question. Does age matter in politics and how old is too old to be president? Let's go to our Northwest Newsline ABC News political analyst Steve Roberts. That was frightening to watch, Steve. Yes, and think about what has happened to either Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Think about the conversation we'll be having this morning. It's reminder a that when you've got leaders that age, look, health incidents can happen to anybody. when But you're 77, as Trump is, you're 81, as Biden is, the possibilities go way up. But and Americans are not happy with the choice between two aging leaders. Is the Yahoo poll out. 67 % of Americans think Biden's too old to be president. That includes almost half a Democrat. 62 % say Trump's too old. So that McConnell incident is a dark reminder that when you're led by leaders that old, not his problems, but it's out of keeping with our history and our tradition. If you think about the four Democrats who were elected president before Biden, leaving aside Lyndon Johnson, although he was only 55 when president after Kennedy's death. We look at Kennedy, Carter, Clinton, Obama, their average age when they were elected president was 47 years old. So it was Biden running and it would be 82 on election You day. can see how far out of touch we are with our own history Steve, I know you have been looking at this for a while now. Do you have any more insight? this Is truly Americans concerned with the health of these men or is it more of a concern of we're really talking about a group of white men? Well, you know, there's a juxtaposition here that's out of sync because prefer Americans younger candidates. But at the same time, you look if at what's happening on the Republican side, Ron DeSantis has portrayed himself as the younger generation of conservatives. And there's a New York Times poll out this morning, Trump's at 54 % and DeSantis has sunk to 17%. So what's happened is that Biden and Trump have so dominated each of their parties that have made it very, very difficult for, they take up so much oxygen, very difficult for a younger generation to emerge. Let's remember with Biden, it's not that it was Biden himself, but the two leading candidates to challenge Biden. Bernie Sanders was even older than Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren was in her 70s. So in both cases, Trump and Biden are sucking up all the oxygen and making it very difficult for the next generation to emerge. thanks Steve, for sharing your thoughts this morning. ABC News political analyst, Steve Roberts. It's 5 .50. And this is your stockcharts .com money update. Interest rates are hovering at their highest level in more than two decades. "They're all stuck in the snow. Then coach Jesse Clark made a play call. I told the bus driver to open the door and I was like, give me 5 wrestlers. Let's go. For over three hours, the wrestlers from Illinois valley high school helped stranded motorists. Helping them get moving and then once you got a move, we move forward, turn the corner, there's another car. They were definitely appreciative that we were willing to help out and not just sit and watch. And it just trailed on for three and a half hours. We just kept jumping out, doing the same thing, jumping out, doing the same thing. It was actually pretty cool. Nice call, coach. I think this sport teaches you an ethic, not only of work, but empathy too. By the way, coach Clark was named coach of the year when the boys finally made it to the tournament, but the bigger reward our firefighter and these wrestlers will tell you was serving the community and going above and beyond. "I for fact that there were list of things. Expectations player association is involved there of prior to the season and if emotions carry you beyond the line of permissible actions. Then that's on the player. And that's why i think renee montgomery said we're gonna hold them accountable now if you don't have any rules in place when he holding them accountable too so there obviously have been rule set in place that now have been breached so because of that you're suspended and because of that we're going to handle it so i think that's great leadership now having rules in place and having them broken are different so if there are no rules in place then how do you know what to hold him accountable too. I think renee montgomery has has a position of leadership there in atlanta. But that doesn't mean that everyone's going to follow suit and comply. So when you have kennedy carter who has an electric. You know Energy with her of courtney williams like we've seen it and she's already been involved in a situation like that so an s not downing her or or kennedy situation happened. The organization has taken leadership in saying. You know we're holding you accountable to what we told you could not happen with while you're suspended so i think know we really have to be careful with you. Know players taking upon themselves to to stretch these lines of permissible actions especially with social media and everyone understanding that there was situation. Now all eyes are on your social media links there on your instagram. live there. All your you know twitter page there waiting for you to say something so how about you. Say nothing as hard as that may be. Because you're you're mad about what happened like no. She didn't do that okay. no she didn't do that. Yes but you cannot say that in a public forum like social media. Because like you said that. That's airing out things that don't need to be said in the last dance. There were so many things and that documentary that we didn't know about because social media wasn't around so i was like wow that happened. Oh my god like we have any idea about it and we shouldn't have had. I mean we want whenever known. We wouldn't have known if there's any way you want to what we wouldn't have known if there's twitter because if you said someone on twitter that michael did this or scotty did this. Michael is gonna come to your house and kick your ass right like. That's that's the fear that's the fear of saying a that that's accountability when you are don't even can't even think of doing an activity that is going to be harmful to our group in our unit in an argument to our goal. Like right like that's why those things i think that's on saying like i think when when these things happen like this is not just like one isolated incident or one like these things. Take time to get to the point where you're like. I want to fight that person. Amadou it right here in a game and it takes time also to to consider. Hey i need go. Defend myself on twitter because i know people are going to bring it out because we've been dealing with this issue for a while so then wonder but i'm saying that's what i'm saying if you're a team like i almost rally you guys just like getting a fist. Fight 'em practice gift this five practice. You got an out or good good. We're done like eight. it's hot. it's competitive like we all wanna win. We're all yelling. H under the win. But you can't you can't you can't let it get to the point where it's affecting your chances of winning and now it's affecting your chance to win it. 'cause you don't have carter. Who's one of your best players so now now it has affected your season. It's going to. It may affect them the rest of the way. Although do you think hopefully the break and the time awful time apart will will make them grow fonder. Yeah i think so and you know. I mean going back to like a little bit back in the day like when checking. Kobe had that sit down resigned. Nba tv and. Kobe was talking about things that we just didn't know about that. Were happening in house right. And i just think you know. The players have to really take ownership on the decisions that they make via social media otherwise You know when it comes to what the team stands for with the league stands for and i in that moment in their last game however if both of them are culpable than both of them need to be suspended if both of them were involved again our who started it finished it or did what whatever but i mean i think there if we're talking accountability and again not knowing one hundred percent what deal was. But that's how i feel about that. You know because then you don't wanna lose the integrity of the team and have people thinking what you spend it her. What about her like isn't that rule. Why is she still. You gotta be careful and you don't wanna lose the locker rooms like mike peterson. You don't wanna lose the locker room by not having integrity behi- what the rules of the team and league are by that that would be the most detrimental thing that can happen to him and the team is to lose the your voice in the locker as you're not standing true on all counts while it'll be really. I think it'll be really interesting. In atlanta going forward you know figuring out what their leadership Dynamic is and figuring out how they can kuala situation and hopefully like not have to trading bike. 'cause i again i i just said i ain't trained kennedy car. I'll trade. i'm not trading. I'm not trading the player that we just drafted and is the future of the franchise. So that's what we're not seeing do fake traits on this podcast. Everyone on twitter one. Who's wanting to see that we're not we're not doing. The today aren't chrissy. I think that's That's all i got. I mean i know in talk about like the basketball. It's literally happening right now. And i'm sure you guys are wondering about that. 'cause that's usually what we come on here and but We will be talking about that probably next week. I don't know. I don't know what's next is next week. Oh next week's also break okay. We'll talk about the talk about nor basketball next week when we get back. It's gonna be august break. It's like august fourteenth. But we'll we'll be rolling through here on the on our on our little courtside seats. Yeah we love our courtside seats. And i tell you what. There's some great games tonight with dallas of minnesota that's going to be. Espn game and then at ten tonight on the amazon prime. It's phoenix and the vegas aces. That's going to be a good one. And then diane's rossi back yet which rossy hello Asking me find and then the sparks and the storm also played tonight on. Cbs sports so all three gay a tonight us can be fun to watch New no i just think that the games in a great place in spite of the issues. I mean what's life without some issues. You have to deal with. I just think atlanta is going to be fine You know hopefully neka will be alongside their sister air on the daingean national team. They'll be in tokyo too But i mean it's an exciting time to the wnba. I think is going to be great to have all of the players in one place. I mean they're going to be honoring the nineteen ninety-six olympic team in las vegas on the fourteenth of july. I think that's gonna be fun. I know lisa leslie. Tina thomsen are gonna serve as co coaches for the wbal. Thirteen that'll be fun. To to see that whole dynamic and just respect is what. I was talking about earlier. Just the respect of the foundational pieces of the wnba in its twenty fifth year. I think it's going to be fun to celebrate that moment and celebrate where the game currently is on and off the court. I think that's going to be a really fun..

"But the The vets take the veteran. You take ownership of the situation. Yeah to me to me. I know court According to can say whatever she wants a mustache. You can't but to me if i'm on that team and you're going outside to tweet about the stuff to to the world and let it now our dirty laundry as a team in the locker room absolute as a failure of leadership that that that that came out and same the whole thing. The whole thing is a failure of leadership. I'm not sure who the leader is. But someone has to take over and say look. I'm in charge and we're not doing that anymore. You got a problem with her. You go up to her in the locker room and you handle and if you guys fight break you up and then we'll make up like like like a family right. Sometimes you find break you make up. You're not going to sit there and go out and tell the world what's happening in our locker room. That's supposed to be sacred to us. I thought that was wrong. I thought obviously will kennedy. Whatever he did was also a big problem because she suspended indefinitely. So there's a failure of leadership here in. i think. I don't know i don't know if to me. I'm not trading kennedy carter. I'll treat everybody else on the team before trade committee carter to be honest because also when you look at their salary cap that would make sense because all most of these players are on Expiring deals so. I do wonder if there's gonna be somewhat of an exodus from atlanta for some of those veteran players Because if that situation's untenable have you ever had. Have you ever had to deal with these sorts of explosive conflicts on a team and like i dunno. I keep that from happening when you have personalities. Yeah i mean unfortunately this one. I was coaching at the At the collegiate level and something like that happened in. It was awful. But i will tell you about that but when you just wanted to ask you this when you said it's a failure of leadership. Are we talking within the players. Like for courtney williams to have lack of leadership of herself. Is that what you're talking about or are you talking about coaches You know gm's owners. Are you talking about. What kind of leadership are we are we talking about. Because we don't mean to say it again we don't. We don't know the specific. So i don't wanna like single out someone when these things happen though it is. It is a failure of leadership because leadership starts at the top starts at the owner in the ownership group so yeah renee montgomery on this chain of people that i think has has has failed but she's only been there for two months so it's like how much can we really put on someone here who's just getting used to do getting used to their position in the organization but then it trickles down. I'd put i put the blame on every single person down from ownership to the the the assistant coaches to the players. Everyone needs an account of brittany set. It's accountability accountability and leadership starts at the top. And then that trickles down to the rest of the team. And if there's any break in this chain between ownership jenner of front office coaches and players then it's gonna fall apart. I think that's on everyone at each level and when you have when you don't have a straight line and maybe that's the problem. Maybe there's too many players here who think they are the leader right because you do have a lot of great veteran players have been to really important stages and have led their teams in the past. Okay i e that that could be an issue where you have actually too many people trying to lead a team and then it falls apart because everyone has different styles. So i said these someone like you know you look at. Let's talk about the washington mystics as a counter example. Why should miss six totally instant now. It goes it goes from ted leonsis to To my tibo. Chew the players in the leader of that player group right despite tan charles alien. Ambience team is natasha clown unimpeachably. I think tasha clouds. The leader of the washington mystics. Everyone else has also leader in their own right but the person who is in that chain of people who's gonna take care of problems is the tasha clout so that's why that organization works because it goes straight out. If ted has a problem he goes to. Mike at mike has a problem. He goes to natasha. And they deal with it. I think on on atlanta. It seems like there isn't that system quite yet because of all of change has happened. And then when you have all that and all these big personalities stuff's going to boil over and hopefully you can get it back in the pot before before it gets too much and then you lose the season. I hear what you're saying. And while i do believe that the mystics are in linear position. Leadership wise no question about it. And i know that. Natasha cloud is the most vocal on the team. I believe that the leader for the mystics is dealt with. And that's just me seeing her. I mean obviously not this year last year but we were able to go to practices. I was there all the time when there were situations they were running things in practice like a minute left down to win. They're going through things. She was the one who was in the huddles with team and they were all to delegate on every single time and that's no shaded to cloud because she has animated she is the voice of the team. And you think about the misses. You think about her because of who she is. And i get that and there is some some truth of what she said. But i think when it's all said and done the ears are really in on what elena delle it on his sang on on a lot of things But that's just my opinion on what i've seen but going back to atlanta now me being coach. We have meetings at the beginning of every season. Here are the things that are not acceptable. Here are the things that are expected. Here are the things that social media presents and you cannot not fall into that. Here are the things that we would like for you to represent terms representing our program rang absolutely so in that regard. I'm not gonna tell renee. Montgomery this is all your fault. Because i feel like even though she did just get this job couple of months ago.

"Trail. I did want to bring up one morning. I didn't wanna bring up one morning. Couple me marina. Mabry has been excellent. Deserved all star said consideration ably. She got consideration shoes to make There's a case for erica wheeler but she's mello- but more hurt. I just want to bring her a name up. Because i think she's been pretty excellent the sheer especially in the clutch. An ally needs her. Erica wheelers been their biggest name though to me. That did not make it with sammy. Welcome 'cause i think sammy if you just look at the new york liberty to them. He say they have. They have laney. they have sabrina. You know everyone else's kind of like an answer person that's just now that's hasn't been the case statement. What comes been. I think they're second best player of the season. Sabrina has been supreme as an up and down. Not only with injuries. Just play so sammy to me has been excellent. She's been perfectly efficiencies everything you want from shooter. It's it's like watching. Allie quigley inadequately his best season. Right to me. i think Sammy should have been on the team. It's tough you're picking twelve players. So i understand why. She's not but those three players i just wanted to give a shoutout to and then one more one more to get into. I want to talk about next. Accordingly has made according williams made it over tiffany hayes Which i think is ultimately fine. I pick tiffany hanes. Tiff atip does a little bit more on the defensive end. And should that should have been in there. Kenny carter also probably got consideration speaking of atlanta. So we don't we don't actually we all know the exact specifics of what happened but there was some sort of verbal altercation potentially physical altercation between it seems it seems to. I'm not reporting anything. I make it very clear. I'm not reporting anything. But seems like according to williams. Kenny carter guy into a kerfuffle. Things have turned physical bubble. Wait a scuffle. Whatever they got into something and it boiled over on the bench during the game to the point that kennedy had to be benched. Now this is playing out over twitter. Recording williams talking about this all over twitter There's been a lot sources talking. About how kenny carter is a cancer or a lot of stuff is coming out of atlanta. It seems dysfunctional. And again i just mentioned all three of their guards as being potential all star candidates. So it's not like team. They're not playing great. They're not one of the best teams in the league. But they're certainly not bad. Enough to be completely unraveling at the seams so kristie. I just wanted to get your thoughts on what we've heard from the situation so far first of all that was it was shocking. You know no one knew why. Kennedy carter didn't play in the second half of their last game. And you know i had the game on friday atlanta and seattle the twitter game on. Wnba's twitter and you know her minutes. Weren't that big during that game. We were wondering. I was on the call a. w. tonelli we were wondering man. They need carter back out there. She was you know scoring at will like she is doing a really great job. So i don't know. I know she's coming back from the elbow. Injury came back. You know the several weeks ago a couple of weeks ago you know. There's no mention of minutes restriction for her but it just seemed like okay. They're trying to ease her in to the situation. They're trying to ease their head. And not you know overdo her minutes you know because cardio teague or whatever elbow may hurt or something like that that we were wondering where she was on friday so the fact that this kind of exploded all over social media last couple of days and you know might peterson. God bless a i mean. He was handed. This team is was it three days before the season started making calling a took the job at baylor. And you know two days later. The dream opened the season. Like here's the season so he spent. I think quite a struggle in that regard one and then to get a whole entirely new coaching staff. In there You know they have the kisha frat down there as one of their assistance and they have dana laforest man who is on the bench as well for the essence. Stick oats terrence. Mann's anyway for the clippers but anyway i But i think it's been quite a challenge. But i think what i like most if there's anything to like about this Situation and is that renee montgomery came out immediately and said accountability will always be at the top here in atlanta for our organization. And that's it. And she had to say something. And i think that was the best thing to say and who knows how long kennedy carter is going to be suspended for because it said until further notice so it wasn't like for one game or you know we're almost halfway. Mark was going to be a huge break. I don't know what that looks like. And i know it. Wasn't there an incident a couple of seasons ago where we'll players got into fisticuffs and they both got traded. So that happened. That was as courtney alex bentley. That's it was but connecticut picks they to treat someone. Because i think it got into i think got from what i can understand about this situation from social media which is not a ton but from what we can understand. It wasn't like alex bentley according got in to eight bytes a right all altercation on a team bus so the team had to do something about the situation and they decided to trade alex bentley to atlanta where she had awesome playoffs. That we don't talk about enough for alex. chisholm is. but i digress. But yeah so you know to me. So the big issue obviously like kennedy is your future you know. No offense to courtney no offense to tiffany hayes offensive elizabeth williams the future of the atlanta dream is kennedy carter so you need to get her on board to whatever you're doing. I think is extremely difficult to get anyone on board when the gm just got fired that drafted her the coach that brought her in just got just left for another job three weeks before season and now there's a new coach who has been there but it's not like he has the same sorta head coach relationship to another player and on top of all this. You've added all of that firepower to a group of players that when they all came together like this is a this is a locker room that we need to see like this the great and we saw some video of on their social media of courtney and tiffany hayes and can carter and our uh simpson all of them like hanging out and being franz but it also blow up because you have players. Have biggie goes the have. They're not afraid to speak their minds. And we're going gonna get any faces and look that works right like that's what that's what makes the miami heat the miami i know. But that's what makes miami heat the miami now. If you've ever been to my he practice you will see players getting right in each other's faces yelling you know. Get getting an almost physical altercations because they care that much and that can be a good thing channel channel and put it towards a positive way and i think they've missed the boat there in atlanta with this So maybe it's just a situation where you have all these big personalities and there's some losses piling up there some miss shots and there's people who want more shots who think they can do better for the team maybe it just pulls over and then it comes back and it's like you know when you when you're boiling something boils over. It'll come back down. And then we can sue out the process especially with this break coming up but if now know where they go from here that's the thing like what's it gonna look like. Whenever it is that she returns like what is what will that look like when she does get back..

"Still think of them as you know when we earlier in the pod we talked about the sparks in phoenix and some teams that we were kinda worried about. We don't super trust right now. But like they are they do seem to be going in. Different directions phoenix going down in sparks. Coming up. I don't really trust the dream against those. I know we kinda love the middle class of the league altogether. I don't really trust atlanta even against some of those mid tier teams. I trust him against the fever. And i don't know about anybody else to be honest. I just tried to think of someone like now. Like i think they're just a very average team that doesn't there's just a very average team now. I do think. I do think that there's an opportunity to kennedy carter. Getting back on the court could do some things there. She kina strictly getting back out. That she's a major threat from the from the outside perimeter neither one of them played tonight. There's some opportunities for atlanta to to maybe correct a few things know. Parker elizabeth williams. Neither one of them got a ton of minutes tonight. I think there's some opportunities there were just missing out on them. And i don't know if atlanta is going to be able to put it together. This season atlanta. We want you to be good. We this ah it would be awesome for atlanta. Considering the story that they've had as a organization over the last year or two. I want to dream if they could shoot toward the top of the league under this new ownership. Nothing would make me happier. I don't think this is the season for that. Unfortunately i maybe tonight's game is just coloring my feelings on atlanta too much tonight tonight. Just stink really bad. It's hard to. But i don't i don't know if i want to get down on atlanta after tonight because washington really just had a phenomenal game washington which they're not if it's those seven players for the rest of the season. They're not gonna do this. It's not happening. let's over to connecticut. Chicago chicago with their fourth straight win doing it against the connecticut sun. Obviously connecticut still missing. You know couple of their best players junk jones not playing currently out with other commitments but connected sun still a solid team yet. Brianna jones brienne january jasmine. Thomas wanna bonner. Us some really solid solid players tissue. Heideman there's some great players here for the connecticut sun but chicago took care of business. Chicago had five players in double digits. Kalima copper had eighteen points khalil. Copper is one of the most fun kind of breakout players from last season in this season in know kind of wasn't really mentioned a whole lot prior to last season when she really came on strong and had a great twenty twenty bubble Era for this guy. But i think that the candace parker kalihi copper connection is one. I will watch every single day of the week. And i'm absolutely loving it again. A really strong game from everyone steph. Dawson struggled quite a bit this game but everybody else seemed to be doing a lot. Better out there that we're seeing some more allie quigley minutes Speaking of depth. Logan chicago actually has a lot more depth than people. Give them credit for. You got allie quigley stevens. Brown hiebert and dana evans all coming off the bench. All of those are pretty strong players. That that i think have found a solid role. And you've got one of the more for miserable. Starting five in the league right now with candace parker does shields courtney vandersloot and then kellyanne copper playing strong as she has. That's a really strong starting four out of your top. Five stef dawson struggling. But you know as if she can roland than the chicago. Sky team really could pop into that. Tier truly believed that so How legitimate are you counting this win of chicago. Over connecticut sun team who recently lost their. Mvp candidate for the for the next little. While is this are we. Are we starting to believe in chicago again. Logan i think so. I think other people jumped the gun. After two wins against hapless indiana team and minnesota game where minnesota just didn't defend didn't look interested in the entire game. I think people were.

"One really outsider. They're not gonna be like look. I was right at the door of my rod. Takes the preseason house right. But i can confirm. I was there when you said that. Obviously absolutely thrilled to see her playing level. Just had a fantastic start to the season at that. I'm not that high on new york. I i think. I mean there's just such a young team so i think they've done a lot of to brow in keep getting better. I mean it's basically a rookie year for sabrina to she four games last season. So i mean it's just it's gonna take time and i think that's fine. Don't know that they're gonna be quitting season. I think the got shot in the playoffs. But i could also see among of missingham alright so next up with got atlanta four and four is with tuesday night. I mean the back court here. Unsurprisingly is the story of the tiffany hades williams than fantastic kennedy. Carter is out right now with an injury but has been really solid for them. I think this team looks a little bit better than i thought ever going to. So far i think positively surprised with them. Yeah i'm with you. I think i probably had been if i if i would have had to rank Rather than just tears. I think i would have probably had them eleventh above indiana at the beginning season They've moved up on my board as well with that. Four game winning streak had Big thing that. I'm really loving this year's corny williams Always been a big courtney williams. Fan a She's really swaggie. And i love that be. We share initials and we share a birthday. So i have to be a fan But the only thing. I haven't liked his her as a guy she just takes so many jumpers and she'll pass up a three and pull up off the dribble one step inside the line but she has been taking threes this year. She's never attempted to. Three's a game In her career she's attempting four and a half threes game this year. She's never made a three-game she's making over two threes game. She shooting almost fifty percent forty nine percent from three. Which i think is a big reason for the step up for this team and this offense in particular. When is really the same shot. She's been taking her whole careers. Just an add an extra foot to that extra extra point every time. That's how it works. And i love it. I'm even more of according williams fan now that she shooting in making threes I'm i'm on this team. Being a lot higher than i thought they were to another sort of middle of the road team. I don't think they're they're. They're in the basement. Yeah the status in thinking about tiffany hayes. Team she's attempted more threes in her career. She's attempting Now four three threes a game at shooting at forty seven percent which would be a career high. She hold onto that quite a bit. Thirty seven percents that. She's shot from deep in this season so Both of them have been really leading up from beyond the arc which has been a big part of why events successful. The two are tied for team around eighteen points. Am huge part of this team. Success yeah and you know we we have yet to really see. I think the full extent of what they're going to look like when cheyenne parker you know she's she's been back. She's played two games. Seventeen minutes a game I think the more she sort of gets up to speed with his team gets acclimated with with her new team and he meets. You know we'll see. I mean she was great last year which chicago So so. I don't even know if we've necessarily seen the the ceiling for this team and of course like you mentioned kennedy carter's out as well so when you put put all those pieces together. Yeah this definitely is. I think potential to be a playoff team. Yeah great and i think i don't think getting a little bit better every game. While is she keeps getting better. I mean there's some questions in the right car when equal lambs in elizabeth. Names have been playing well. But they're not. You know pretty hard with her. I just don't think they're gonna make the playoffs. Probably this looks better than i was expecting. Yeah yeah absolutely with you mess. Now after teasing its game at three and five quite. They were hitting their straddle. They were out like a three game win. Streak to washington tonight. I feel like i just so confused. By what is going up steve. I've paper that very clearly. Have all the pieces. He's the gut know killa brian. They add declared improv. The liberty after they they got their got all the pieces. It's still feels like a all. Really clicking on the court though yeah. I am very confused by this team. Two would say the same thing as you. I you know. We're both were high on this team. Did you pick them as your champion. Yeah i knew i did. I thought you did as well we but we both went out on a limb and then they lost their first three games in. I didn't change my opinion even a little bit because they didn't have to call your math on all right. you know. She's back game four. They're going to be all right And they just got run out of the gym by the storm Which was a little bit concerning because they had call your back and they had a week leading up that game without any games with collier practicing so it's not like she was just thrown into the fire. Having straight come from overseas without any practices with her new teammates they lose aerial powers. Obviously but after that they started they start rolling a little bit until tonight Ever before tonight every single game their offensive rating had increased the late at least a little bit from the game before our. That wasn't gonna keep up forever but I think this team. I'm a little bit confused by its shot. Making i think is what it really is. We looked at some of those in the praises. We talked about some of those players from last year. Who were knocked down from three. And then you you add in players like kayla mcbride who obviously can shoot aerial power so area powers has been has been out but when she was playing she was just one for six from three D'humieres dentist though under thirty percent..

"There's good things going on. I do wonder what you're going to say about the next couple teams because this is the most questions that we've had about a team that would cover covered so far And i'm interested to see what's because again we're talking about a team. That just said i. If i read it correctly i think that an eighty seven offensive rating last year for the right. That is a tough scene For the new york liberty oh just slightly off. Eighty eight point six Not not too far off though. Yeah i mean the efficiency landscape. It is slightly less than the w bay. It's for sure but that is like with everything else. A very clear and defined twelve place offense. Yeah again. it's i mean they just had a distinct yes and distinct amount of throw the will throw throwing throwing everything at the wall. So why other team into your five a team that i actually had to seek my first draft had to seek them in the same as los angeles in los angeles being behind connected by provides that which has questions is the atlanta dri. Here's part of the reason why i moved them down host draft. They fired their gm last week. So intriguing kim. Their head coach got hired by baylor. Nikki colin got hired by baylor in so they promoted their assistant like they got napped by the college game. I'd coach position and so there's a lot of question what's going on behind the scenes there. I mean they do afternoon ownership group. No idea why. The jam was fired. One alone after the draft. Yeah you don't see that very much in in major sports. That's not like right. After the draft is such weird like banks got it back the following week like within like seven within seven days. I believe And this is a team that had fit issues even before all that. How so i'm gonna tell you. a tale. A four guards is not the most efficient way to telling the story but it is perhaps the most fun so the twenty nine hundred offseason or e williams has just been a spark plug in the starting lineup for the connecticut sun. She is in leak. Midrange score doesn't like taking threes and she doesn't shoot the ram. She has yet to get there but she is very slender. And so you know. There is limited him out punishment she can but she is a tremendous mentoring. Score the point where i mean. The efficiency special for guards particular is much lower than the wnba. what she's able to be efficient basically exclusively from the mid range Atlanta's signs her to a three year contract on at a pretty good salary. I'm with an early pick in the first round of the twenty nineteen wnba draft. They slept kennedy. Carter from texas am. Who is a player who i had some serious worries about her shot. Show selection in her shooting daycare.

"Democrats generally only one when they had a new generation candidate. You know, uh Kennedy Carter, but but anyway that it was a new young new generation ticket halfway through this century, when my father saw that thousands of his fellow Tennesseans were forced to obey Jim Crow laws he knew America could do better. He saw Horizon in which is black and white constituents shared the same hopes in the same world. He thought against the Southern Manifesto and four voting rights. His last election was lost, but his conscience one he taught me all my life that that Was what really counted over senior Woz on the left wing of his party and one of the things that Al Gore senior used Al Gore Jr for was to provide some cover for him because I was senior was was opposed The Vietnam War. Was seen as sort of Ah peacenik type, and his son who served in the military was a useful sort of. You know whether you want to be cynical or not about it A photo op, you know, play for Al Gore senior and that was a big part of Al Gore's sort of introduction into political life was coming to the rescue a little bit for his dad, Al Gore's father. Was a very powerful man in Tennessee, a very wealthy man and Al Gore ever want you to know that he is a very serious person. It is thinking very seriously locks all of the time about seriousness. So his sober sided seriousness was a good balance to Bill Clinton, who by then was just understood to be gross and sort of leaned into it a little bit right. I think it was James Carville, Bill Clinton's man who said that if you drag $20 through a trailer park You mean you'd be surprised what you get about the women who were making accusations to Bill Clinton and Al Gore was the opposite of that Tilly Cat. Self inflicted wounds are the worst, and he has been guilty of it for four years. But our policy the problem is the left always overplay their hand and can capitalize on anything. I got. Justices I want. I got lower regulation got lower taxation. I gotta fight on China. That's necessary. I got discussion about the border to necessary about building things in the U. S. That's necessary policy wise. I feel very, very good. Knew what you were getting..
