"Thanks excited to do that. Yeah we you and I met a couple years ago and was in the context of a telegram group and that was my Kenley. My first foray into the wires of will call. It's or Crypto will. Now it's crypto twitter's the word but you see all the social media it's a Sort of a wild environment and it was eye opening for me to jump from traditional tack and business and Fintech into the system. It's two years later from when I originally met you. I feel about twice as old twice as have have no kidding. So so it's been a while couple of years but to your question so entered the space to fulltime as described right when things were rushing up an Krisha knowing But I've been bitcoin owner since two thousand thirteen fall. Hackers out there. You're welcome like Ryan. I enjoyed talking about you. Know all of my security issues publicly and that's why you'll also the thing that drew me to Bitcoin I've Yolk in two thousand ten joined Google's while at team and spent four years in that team does a decade too early to mobile payments in America in have been early on a number things was early at Bimbo which was acquired by Braintree P payments and before that I worked on my music in the late arts so that was a decade later but Juli after working infantile juvenile equitable for years out working braintree in meeting with the Queen based team to talk about bitcoin payments and two thousand thirteen and really being a little bit disillusioned. And I think we're still seeing this. Continue today with every Cinta company out there seemingly having the aspiration perhaps other than Stripe Square and Shop Affi- which is sort of Fintech e adjacent to sell to big bank or financial institution your I wanted to actually work on. What would hopefully be disrupting financial institutions in the way that we describe them and you know the regulated by the US government and other governments over the next few decades And discovering bitcoin in two thousand thirteen participating and being on the outskirts but seeing it from a formal industry perspective. You got me excited about the potential slightly aware of the risks the personalities the complexity. And then when I decided to jump in full-time Holy Shit. It was like awesome terrifying confusing and just a trigger for all of my good bad side as well as seemingly everybody else who is participating and I probably monologues provide house all stop here but looking at this confusing volatile space. At a time when it was you know growing seemingly exponentially was was simultaneously amazing scary and and just saw like I think what you saw around. I mean you've you've been full time for a long time but A darth of reliable real credible information that led people to do really stupid things and inaccurate. Gets us to the core of what the block is. I I don't WanNa go out on a limb and describe the block because I know that you're just gonNa correct me with some ostentatious vision and my best not everything of everything that That the two more people look at the block. They see a a media outlet. That's competing with coin desk. I think you yourself has Have have been vocal about winning business away from Clinton to ask and in growing the audience. You've obviously got a very strong team of researchers that are on percents On on twitter in a good way a lot a lot of the content has been exceptional. What's how do you describe the block? And and where are we now in terms of its evolution? Because I'll have Frank Frank Reich went for a run which typically twelve minute pace half walkout by their which is bad news. So maybe you can think about the block in terms of caricatures. Franken the media elements and then there folks being the research but how does how does this business align with your original vision to improve information in the industry? And and where do you think you are now versus where you want to be? So the original tagline was crypto simplified. While we strive to do that I. It doesn't describe you know what what we do in its entirety. We've expanded that into the first and final word and digital assets and what that means really as you were not just simplifying things so you can understand them. But we'd like to be the first place you look to figure out what the heck's going on this space and we define the space pretty broadly so it's not just covering public blockchain's and cryptocurrencies than I just covering bitcoin Theorem Ripples and Be Gash Etcetera. It's covering central. Bank digital currencies is covering distributed ledger technology and stuff that is adjacent. So companies that are using technology and governments that are thinking about money in new ways The original idea and concept was again crypto simplified and it was hatched time when there was a lot more momentum behind. Lucia say everyday people's interest in learning more and going really deep in the technology What happened? Is you in two thousand eighteen as we started to form the brand and launched the brand. We realized we had incredible talent Stephen Frank Larry editorial talent that was super experienced had experience in various aspects of currency and blockchain Inventec analysis research and so we launched you. Know Not really a crypto. Simplify brand one. That had insider knowledge people gravitated towards our all of our contact with free in two thousand eighteen and that was the original vision for the business was young in two thousand eighteen. Hundreds of millions of people will be interested in this You know imminent revolution. That's happening today. What has clearly happened as everybody took a deep breath. Certainly we did and said Hey. This is going to be a multi year multi decade evolution with a incredible things happening up stones and everything in between just like I think a lot of technology and a lot of you know financial markets over yet throughout history. So where we've come out is. We are focused on instead of blockchain. One one Call it somewhere between Crypto blockchain to one and above. And it's enough that if you're if you're somebody who's aware of what's going on you can kind of start with our news and journalism that's our top of funnel that's where most people are aware of the block the news and journalism brand. And then you we will through as you mentioned our social counts and through our personal accounts. We you know. Basically tighten the funnel and connect to the folks who are actually participating fully in the market. And then we sell solutions as including research information. We'll talk more about where we're headed with. That
How Did White House Press Briefings Go From Daily to Done?
"Brain. GRAINSTUFF Lauren Bogle bomb here in January of Twenty Twenty bestselling novelist Stephen King and Don winslow took to twitter to make a surprising pledge. They offered to donate two hundred thousand dollars to charity. If Stephanie Grisham the Press Secretary for President Donald Trump agreed to take questions from the full White House. Press Corps for one hour. You're in the White House. Press briefing room. The offer reportedly was rejected by Grisham. WHO's since taking the job in June of two thousand nineteen has yet to hold even one former former White House press briefing? Her views expressed an interview with these sinclair. Broadcast Group is that the briefings are unnecessary because reporters get opportunities to put questions to trump himself sometimes over the roar of the presidential helicopter on the White House lawn for the time being at least the trump administration has abandoned what had been in an important part of White House. Press Corps is routine dating back to the late eighteen hundreds before the official position of White House. Press Secretary even existed. That's when President William McKinley. Kenley set up a workspace in the White House for reporters and sent his first personal secretary. John Addison Porter to give the correspondence what the White House Historical Association notes. where I'm I more or less regular briefings? The White House press briefing gradually evolved into a formal event from the time of president. Herbert Hoover in the late nineteen twenties and early thirties. He's to Linden Johnson's tenure in the mid to late sixties White House press secretary's held twice a day briefing sessions in their own offices according to Martha Joint Kumar Book managing the president's message the White House Communications Operation Richard Nixon though no fan of the press still thought the briefings were important enough that he had a swimming pool torn out so that he could convert the space into a meeting room for briefings. That area is now known as the James S. Brady press briefing room in honor of president. Ronald Reagan's press secretary who was seriously wounded during the attempt. On Reagan's life in Nineteen eighty-one during Bill Clinton's time in the White House in the nineteen nineties. Press Secretary Mike. McCurry decided to allow the daily press briefings to be televised that practice continued until the trump white house began barring cameras from briefings in two thousand seventeen before discontinuing them altogether. Oh we spoke by email but former C. N. N. White House correspondent Dan Lowthian who spent five years covering the Bush and Obama administrations. He said I think the briefings were useful full for a number of reasons. First of all it was an opportunity to get the White House response or thinking on an issue on camera rather than a written statement it allowed us to gang up on them around a question they might have been trying to avoid showing them dodge. An answer is sometimes the news briefings also put statements on the record for later. Comparison finally finally every now and then there would be breaking news and as happened after Osama bin Laden was caught lots of great details even if some turned out not to be true. Lowthian Dan who went on to found little park media and to become a visiting scholar at the School of Journalism at Northeastern University recalls that the format for the briefings was fairly constant. He said there was a certain order to who got called on briefings always started with the Associated Press and ended with a thank you from the Associated Press once in a while the press secretary would mix it up a bit but it usually happened around the same time each day and questions from the first two rows came in order. We also spoke by email with Tom. Tom Jones a senior media writer for the POYNTER Institute. A journalism education organization. He said while it's true that the president and his representatives often make themselves available bowl in informal settings such as the White House lawn. It's not the same as press. Briefings the format of shouting out questions under the sound of a whirling helicopter is not conducive to asking complicated policy questions nor pertinent. Follow up questions. The frenzied free for all of these much too brief informal interviews make it much harder to get into the topics. What's that require nuance and specifics? It's so much easier for the president to brush aside or ignore questions. He doesn't like when he's walking along the White House grounds when he or one of his representatives representatives are standing behind a podium a controlled setting they must face the questions that require long substantive answers as opposed to the one or two short sentences that suffice in those informal formal settings let view essentially is shared by a group of thirteen former White House press secretary and Foreign Service and military officials who published an opinion in peace on. CNN's website in January of twenty twenty calling for trump to restore the regular briefings in their view. Having to prepare for briefings helps the government to run better letter. They wrote the sharing of information known. As official guidance among government officials and agencies helps ensure that an administration speaks with one voice telling one story however compelling it might be Lowthian also sees the apparent end the briefings as unfortunate. He said it's a valid criticism that some reporters others use briefings to showboat. However I think when covering the White House briefings aren't important function that allow the public and reporters to maintain daily connections? Sometimes it's routine information other times. An odd question from the back of the room can turn into the story of the day even so Lowthian says journalists who cover the the administration will find a way to get stories he said this new normal might be unfortunate but not paralyzing. Reporters are in the business of getting information whether it comes from the mouth of his spokesperson or sources all across the beltway.
A look at all 16 possible World Series matchups
"Allow with us right now is is EMMA LB Major League baseball analyst insider extraordinaire the great one himself the one and only Kirk Chin who will be in attendance for tonight's Oakland a's Tampa Bay rays one game divisional playoff game. What's going on man? How are you how's everything I'm great Stephen? Even a I'm at a playoff game. It's a winner. Take all situation on October the second this is pretty good stuff. You really really liked this one game stuff don't you. You really liked him. Well what I think it does Stephen Obviously it brings a game seven half. Let's fear to the beginning of October that that game last night was a really good game but it was even better because the poor brewers had to go home after losing and granted. It's really unfair that one of these teams tonight both worked on ninety five or more games going to have to go home after one but it does bring increased integrity to the regular killer season. It makes those hundred sixty two games so important so you don't have to play in this game but the fact that the loser goes home home makes it. It has a level even high. I gotTA admit him. I'm very shocked by that position that you take because you are one of the most fair minded people I've ever known on and to go to a hundred and sixty two game season and it to come down told one game. It's it almost seems grew. It really does well. It is cruel stephen a but this is a cool sport and I was not in favor of this but here is the option if we were gonNA play a best best of three. Let's say and you are the New York Yankees. Let's say you want your division and you get to host the next round and we have ties leading into the wild card situation and then you play best of three it's possible the Yankees can win a hundred and ten game name say in a season and then take eight days off before they play a playoff game. That isn't fair you need to you need to really welcome the teams teams that won their division and put them in the best possible spot but if you make them wait a week before they get to play. I don't think that's fair. Wow Turkey right here with steven a radio. ESPN news fair enough. That game was something special last night at least the last couple of innings of soda to to to to Gino's keynote hit it to right field identify Grisham to commit that era. I gotTa tell you it was great to see how electric atmosphere was. How much did baseball Paul need particularly when we have just heard reports come down to how attendance drop but so like a six year low or something like that right well baseball can use all the health can get right now? It's still for me at least the greatest game and yet things are starting to slip a little bit and big game like that starting out like that in a city. That's like the biggest game the nationals of one well biggest game. A team in Washington is one baseball nineteen thirty three for goodness sake. That's what made it so good. That's why that celebration was so good and I'll crom tonight. Stephen Ain't no matter what happens this is gonna be a great night for baseball 'cause weighty. Did you see the Oakland Coliseum tonight with fifty thousand people in your they don't have the most fans in the world but the fans they have our rate and they are loud and it should be a tremendous atmosphere so this is a great jump start to the postseason in baseball last night in Washington and no matter what happens tonight tonight tonight in Oakland who you have when you look at tonight's game just evaluate this this match up to me between the as and Tampa Bay talk to me about you know who's looking good in mismatch in what well I like both teams. I'm GONNA pick I like it matters. I'M GONNA pick the as because they're at home. I'M GONNA pick the as Ashok MNAYA WHO's four no with a one twenty-one year as it's coming off the list has been great. Their bullpen is pretty darn good and they can just ask Mash Stephen a more than any team in the history of the Oakland A.'s in the franchise so they can really pounded but they're going up against Charlie Morton who was one of the best pitchers in the game this year. I saw his last start against your Yankees Steven A. and he he threw six scoreless. Let's see was completely dominant and if you throws like that he's GonNa win tonight. That's how good he was so this is a toss up game. I'll just take the as 'cause they gotta pick. Somebody and I'll take 'cause they're at home. You brought up my Yankee so let's get right to it because you know that's what I really really care about. Tim Kirk Okay. I'm very concerned earn. I am not concerned about the Minnesota twins even donate three hundred and seven home runs this year. I just think they're allergic to prosperity whenever their face against the New York Yankees the Houston Houston Astros are an entirely different matter with Verlaine with Cole Whitt Cranky. I don't see anybody beating. These guys. Talk to me about my yankees prospects. The this postseason Tim Kirk well first off. Do not look pass the twins. Even though I'm with you I believe will win. This series do not look past the team that can swing it like that. Team can second I think the Astros are the best team not just in the American league but in both leagues and I'm not sure how any team to navigate through those friends for you guys in the rotation especially coal and Burland at the top and I'm also going to tell you it's even a there or is hope that the Yankees can win the world series that make you really happy a bunch of things have to happen of course after mash like they always do the bullpen has to be great great like it always has been but Luis Severino comes back and give them five dominant innings. Can we've seen him do and if James Paxton this good he's one ten starts in a row. If Tanaka can give them one really good start or a few really good starts I think they are good enough to win the world series with the team that they have now but I still have them as the third best team in baseball go in behind the Astros and the dodge transitioned to the Los Los Angeles dodgers. They've got to face these Washington nationals in the LDS. How do you see that matchup handicap that for me well? I liked the dodgers in that matchup with the understanding understanding that if Max Scherzer can return to being the great Max Scherzer which he has not been since he came off the injured list is not he wasn't that guy last night. He wasn't that Guy September. If he returns to the best he's ever been with him. In Strasbourg Patrick Corbin they can give the dodgers a really really hard time with with that starting rotation and that lineup is very potent these days. I just think the dodgers are more complete team. They hit the ball out of the Ballpark ballpark with anybody. Three stars in the rotation are really good. My key question with 'em is is their back end to the bullpen as good as it needs to be Kenley Kenley Jansen get the people out. He needs to get out if he can't. They're not going to win the world series. How wants faiths the dodgers fans having jetson? I know I don't have much. I like the guy personally early but I I I don't. I don't trust him. I don't trust them a big spots. I think he can be hit. Talk to me about him. For a second yeah his is down his cuddled. It doesn't have the same movement to better tad in the past and that gives fans of pause. They do have some other health back there there but I really thought they'd go get more help at the trade deadline and they didn't so they're gonNA hope starting pitching and power is going to carry them and they're hoping pinged Kenley Jansen his best but I seen him much much better than he's been this year. What should we make about the fact that you've got high payrolls dodgers Yankees you know old? I don't know the order in which is the highest payroll. You would know that at this particular juncture but I must ask you Tampa Bay is in the postseason obviously lowest payroll in major league baseball well. I do believe I know that I mean how do you explain the fact that teams like the as in the Tampa Bay rays notoriously alot payrolls manage to get this fall and sometimes further dentist with the highest payrolls talked about that for a quick second as a protest. Why baseball is so great even a is that Lebron doesn't touch it on every possession? Kevin Durant doesn't touch it on every possession it is so much more of a eighteen game in its own way because you could lose a superstar and still be really good you have to draft and develop properly like the as and the rays done you have to play the game in a better manner because you can't afford to make a mistake because you know either in free agency or trade because it could set that you back with a raise did they. They got Austin Meadows and tyler glass now in a deal for Chris Archer Saint the whole team now they've ninety games two years in a row they they are really good but they're really 'cause they play the game even a defense base running better than most teams do instead of just sitting back saying well. We're GONNA hit a three run at home this morning so we don't have to do all the other things so. Let's get all of this out of the way right. Now Tim Cook while you're here with me. Yankees twins you. Have you have one in that series. I've got the Yankees over the twin yes with the warning. I say it again. Don't underestimate a team that hit over three hundred homers with the as as you picked as over the race tonight which means there as will go up against Houston obviously you pick in Houston to win that series assuming it comes down to that and the LDS correct yeah yeah but no cakewalk they're not against the as but I have the astros advancing against the how formidable on the Atlanta braves not mean I mean I mean at least in these parts. We talked enough about them. How good is this Atlanta braves team well? If Ronald Kunia junior and Freddy Freeman are completely healthy and they they want to finish the season they are the biggest threat to the dodgers in the National League for me. They're lying is absolutely relentless and with some of the pitching moves they made young and Old Dallas Cycle and the upgrades in their bullpen. I like that team. I don't like it as much as I like the dodgers but they can beat the dodgers with the team. They have right now so the nationals brightest moment was last night because you don't see them beating the dodgers correct I don't because they're going to start on the road. They've already use sure they're they've already Strasbourg people. They can get them back in time. I just don't think they held it too. I was worried shows a look tied at the floor four. Oh five in his last night I mean fifteen and won his last pitch and fit then it was I think it was at seventy seven pitches and he looked absolutely gassed. What does that about yeah? He's he's he's been hurt for portions of the year and he's had a little trouble getting that rhythm back in September and now in October and he is so max effort for on every single pitch when everything isn't working properly even he can get in trouble because almost nobody's better than him.
Buehler, Muncy lead Dodgers to 1-0 shutout of Giants
"The giants shut out for the seventh time this year it's the ninth shutout pitched by the dodgers. The dodgers got the one run on five hits with no errors. And the dodgers left, only four runners on base. The giants got no runs on five hits with one error. Giants left six runners on base. The winning pitcher is Walker bueller. "kenley" Discussed on ESPN Chicago 1000 - WMVP
"The Mets are on track to hire player agent Brodie van wagon in as their new head of baseball operations van wagon and represents Jacob degrom Noah Syndergaard Todd Frazier among many, others beyond the obvious conflict of interest questions. He has no. Experience in that kind of role. It's a move that's going to be highly scrutinized, Dan. Absolutely. You've already started. This earth is a little bit little scrutinizing over Manny Machado space running tonight. But really the story is Walker Buehler's. We go to the bottom of the Sabbath wanted the dodgers game three. Don't miss Kay for the World Series tomorrow night that Saturday night I bitch, just after eight o'clock eastern, Johnny on FOX. Are you could hear it right here? Just with conviction. I'm gonna eventually remember what we have an excuse right away. It's not an either by job. We've been on the million airplanes. They're worse things than not knowing. Davis. There's Yossi yelp. We. Braziers in the game. Now for the Red Sox kenley Jansen is in the bullpen for the dodgers going onto your partner. We got a lot of things to talk about it. Yeah. This spin a traditional type of baseball game. Dan, absolutely. Razors. First pitch fastball. First-strike what? Well, let me ask you about Mueller and Janssen bias was up. What bueller gets through the seven. Maya sits down Buehler's do a fourth one hundred eight pitches is he done for the night. A hundred percent for sure I'm a spot does come up one hundred percent for sure even if his spot does come on. We all want is inside the ball strike. So Dave Roberts is going to say to kenley chance. Go get me. Six outs with fellow. Go by is no chance. Chuck no bias by sat down after the seven. You're not getting Jansen up. If he's not coming into game. This Hurley that's pretty aggressive. Three left-handers set to hit for the Red Sox top, the here's the one Wanda que- fouled off to the right one and two. Announced attended should it ninety Dodger Stadium fifty three thousand one hundred and fourteen baby to kinda ticket stub those things still exist, but you want to hang on to give it away. Walker legit should either? But it wasn't you know, sandy Koufax go the distance, but sandy is here tonight. And I'm sure the appreciates what Walker bueller? His daughter died about as much as anybody. Razer the fourth pitcher night for the Red Sox. Mrs high to a two hour, wait. Four two thirds want around allowed to buy poor seller at add water Rodriguez. Struck out the only batter he faced scoreless sixth sitting for Joe Kelley an outrage you're here with the seven. The dodgers up wanted to try to get their first win of the series big opportunity Yossi up week here. I mean, nobody gets the the fans here excited like wig, and we saw that in the last series when he's ready to play and goes man, it is electric to two, and it is very close just inside or just low and a full cow at a baby up break there for a week. Was a nasty. Look at pitch. Catch was set up on the outside part of the plate and had reached back across Ted won't play on fire. Not willing to go there. Mcquaid? Yep. He can get something hit something in a gap. Get moving around the bases. That'll be refueled. If these fans need to get to the last two innings. Great you on the way at a shopper, high Hopwood award surcharge by Deborah's doesn't have. Very late with a throw the ball was hit straight down way up the air, Greek just way too fast. That'll be an infield hit. That he will take it. We'll be bets in right field was a little casual on that. And then all of a sudden realize that Turkey it over there and Mitch more than an incredible job of getting off the base quickly making sure that he knocked down because if he doesn't knock it down barrels into foul territory on second base now. Yes, Monte Grondahl. Struck out and had a shit. Would one boron feel like a huge thing for the dodgers? Yes. And good speed aboard to do that with weak. Taylor jacket, and we could see that camp above the top step with a helmet on and a baton hand in. What is now? Walker Buehler's spot. Let's see what Grondahl does here against brazier. Raise your throws hard ninety seven ninety eight ninety seven at first strike going on. Largely started really nice job of the postseason for a guy would never been playoffs. At hardly been in the majors before just so a little bit of time of the angel some years ago, this is ninth postseason appearance giving up just want rounded seventy two thirds wrote. A I did evacuate is. Coming into this game. Dan, I was talking about a couple of guys it really need to do something offensively for the dodgers night. Justin turner. Yes. Monte grondahl. This is the spot right here for grand the spine some green somewhere, perhaps a first and third situation after he finishes his back. He good for him. Good for the dodgers. Obviously swaying a foul off of the plate. On grondahl. Ted barrett. Dusting off the plate razor with a fresh ball to the Red Sox. Infielders Denver's Bogart's talking about their positioning and outdoors goes over to the right side of second base with a two strikeout. Bogart's comes back to the left. Let's go dodgers chant. That got overpowered by them. Just roaring out you over and over again. He was on of the top half of the Roach is fouled back. The Dan what I would look at is. And the sitting of grand all the pitcher spot. Does it come on? Go double switch. It Barnes in their kenley Jansen that way, you that pitcher spot. Get Barnes the opportunity to lead off the next inning, assuming there's not a double play here Taylor makes it out but get that defense in there as well. Raise your cups. Needed. I buy. And the oh Judah grab. Dow back fights off another one. Walker? Bueller? A hundred and eight pitches. Seven electrify it for the rookie. What he had to throw twenty six of the first even those three upper doubt. It looked like you know, he would have no chance of getting through setup. But what a job he did against the best offensive baseball. Again, the set by brazier. The chew while the way, and it's another pop up foul back out of play to our left. Good battled. To counter and all not going down quickly. Hansen is good and warm down in the doctors. Standing down their hand on the hip four. Sinning to unfold. Meeting on the mound as Vasquez heads out to talk with brazier. Game four tomorrow night and gained five if necessary Sunday night reduction stadium. One nothing. Dodgers jock Petersen. Hold out of the third as stood up. This far. Who set by brazier? We owe to all the way and a swing in advance for the ball the dirt and growl strikes out for the first down. So now Taylor. Grounded out at flied out. All is quiet of the boss to the pan at kenley Jansen throwing a pitch every now and again doing a lot of walking around probably just want to spend too much energy towing. A Newsweek ask. The go-to innings tonight. It would appear. And interesting as well when we talk about these middle games of a series where you have three games in a row now that first game you're going to throw that reliever. Having throw a couple of innings, and you get to gain five in very well be running on fields of fortunately for the dodgers Walker Buehler's give them strong start pitching deep into this ball game. So that helps song for those other arms to be fresh and carry some of the low throw to first runner back. Interesting as well. As by as has been throwing he's throwing great the playoffs bad as now. Drew Pomeranz gets out of the Red Sox that the dodgers evidently, you're going to bypass at just go from bueller to Jansen at some point. You gotta manage almost like it's an elimination game. But this is a lot to ask of Jansen as you said what you are swing by Taylor. I. Janson went shootings through thirty four pitches in a game against the brewers in the LCS. He's done it on occasion. Talk about that. Big swing. Chris Taylor has made the same. Oh, two. Oh or oh two. And didn't really realize this until today but led the National League in strikeouts hundred seventy eight strikeouts. This year. Chris taylor. Seventeen home runs. We all want and it'll take a strike over the outside quarterback ninety six and he's in the hole. So far has shown no inclination awards running talking to George Lebar. The first base coat drive out being held on five bitch Borland run on five hits for the dodgers. No runs. Just two hits for the Red Sox. A long look into by brazier tilts, his head off to the left almost over is left shoulders fires. He's able to negotiate with aside. I'll throw the first week is back at Santa. Let's made it hard for Puig descending to even think about trying to get a good lead. And steel is the fact that braziers gone oh to on grand, all and Taylor. So as a base runner potential base. Stealer. You'll really like that count because the teacher has the ability to throw pitch out or he can throw that modified pitch out that gives his catcher something, you know, up in a way it's easier to handle transfer and fire down to second base. Waist to pitch essentially one on one out wanted. Nothing. Dodgers they bad here at the bottom of the seven. In front of a raucous crowded out of over fifty three thousand. Who set by brazier leading weak nocco was fouled off out of play. Again. This little five the upper deck over above first base. Again, Taylor steps outlook standards third base. Coach Chris Woodward to see if they're going to put something on here. Shan't we'd that the on deck circle if Euler spot. World Series expert picks: Will Red Sox or Dodgers win it all?
"Teams after I saw every one of them playing person Red Sox Astros, Yankees, Indians brewers dodgers and that order. I absolutely think the Boston Red Sox have a better club that the dodgers. And I think they'll win this in six or seven I agree on the six and seven. I don't see us going to sweep like so many people do and part of it is there's not a lot of experience on both sides against you know, the top tier pitching Manny Machado in. Brian dozer have seen Chris sale at ninety seven ninety two and done some damage against them. And the same thing goes with Clayton Kershaw JD Martinez being in the, you know, the front of the order in owning Kershaw relatively in in eleven at bats. Do you sense that the key to the series is the field period? And who could feel out the other team quicker? Well, I think that's part of it. But in a short series in for me in any any series. It's about the pitching in. I am concerned about Chris sale. I'm not as concerned anymore. As much as I was about Kershaw. He's got the Kershaw. Although he's more of a craftsman. Now, you've got three lefties going for the dodgers you got to in the rotation going for the Red Sox. I'll take my chances with the right handed hitting Boston Red Sox against those three lefties. I think that could be a big big advantage when you are looking at a JD Martinez in the middle of the order, Mookie Betts, Bogaerts Nunez, those guys that hit from the right side. I think they're going to do some damage in Fenway. I think it's gonna be a different game in LA. You know, I I worry about them pitching to die like, Cody Bellinger. For example. I think he had to keep the ball up on him. He's an uppercut swinger. You put the ball down. You may never see it again. I think these are pretty quick pitchers at I think the way they pitched the opposition is going. Is going to determine who winces, and that's not a genius comment. Are they it's all about the pitching, no doubt? And I think the way that the the Red Sox has set it up where they have Chris sale going game one David price game two, and then the unknown so ripper Selo and Nathanael have all the will be coming out of the pen in the first game or two depending on what goes on in. Do you sense it they're they're protecting themselves from a a short start from occur sailing game one? Right. I think that's exactly what they're doing. I don't think I would even though they did it all year long. I don't think I would pick up these back to back. I think they are doing it. Look, I think Alex Cora was the manager of the year. He and bo-, you know, bowl mill with the athletics. I don't say anything that guy does. But sale, you know, just coming back from the hospital probably lost a couple pounds said he couldn't afford to lose place at the game of his life. Can he do twice in a row? I think that can that's why I think the Red Sox are a little bit better team at this point of the year much better during the season. But you know, you gotta give credit for the dodgers. They scrapped themselves back into this. They one and I give him credit. I just don't think I think they're going to get get up managed. I think Alex Cora and the Red Sox front office is gonna do the job. A former staffer the Astros and Mariners currently with clubhouse corner dot com is kind enough to join us here. Cambio tonight. Drew harvard. Kevin Franson, we are previewing Dame one of the World Series tomorrow night at Fenway Red Sox dodgers Clayton Kershaw. Chris sale. We've been talking about the pitching birdie. I do want to get more into the offense on both of these teams. We're talking about a dodger team who set their franchise record two hundred and thirty four home runs this year. And then he had the Red Sox knocked around. The Astros was twenty nine runs in five games. Jackie Bradley, jR, driving and nine in the AFC. Yes. So tell me about the offense for both of these teams. And really who do you think has the biggest advantage? But I still think it's the Red Sox the wildcard for me could be mad Kemp he won't be starting at D H. They have to of course, and us mad count in their order in the middle of the order behind Machado and in front of Brian dosier. They're using dosier as well. It's mad Kemp that kind of scares me on the Red Sox. He's the great unknown. He can hit the gaps. He can hit the ball over the played as well rested. He had a terrific first-half tailed off in the second half. He's the guy that when you put put all the chips down now Matt Kemp may pick him up. So he's a guy that scares me in the line. David freezes quietly under the radar. They have some weapons. No question. We all know what Justin Turner can do we've seen. What Chris Taylor can do. This is a very very good club. You've got a pitch to bell. And you're like I said they've got to keep the ball up. The bed is is make them swing at it. Get away from the uppercut swing. Yes. Of course is dangerous. But on the other side of the ball, Mookie Betts. You know, Mookie Betts when I saw him first off in the Arizona fall league. He was playing second base. He was far enough of the best athlete in the air that year. This guy makes things happen. Then he's followed by Benintendi. And granted he's a left-handed hitter. But he can smack the ball, and how do you pitch to JD? So I think these are very well balanced teams. But I think pitching and Fenway is going to be a little bit too much for the dodgers. And I think they're going to lose at Fenway, maybe two games. And then we'll see what happens from there. Yeah. I think it's huge. If you know, especially the the Red Sox hold serve then they can play around a little bit not play around. But having Mookie come in and not really be afraid of like he's going to cost us. Oh, no. Because when he was there this year and even in the past that you could play. Yes. So much range. We all know that. No question about it holiday. Would you like to pick up a Nathan? The scrapping. You know? How would you like to have a number three starter name Nathan Valdez control the ball a hundred miles an hour who the dodgers had at one point. And now he may win a game against you. I mean, there's so many corks to this when you can get a guy like a ball deep during the season as your number three starter. You know, I just love it. I love it for both teams Verney who's your who's the guy you worry about more at the back end. Is it kenley or kimbrel kimbrel against this team? By the way, one for thirty one guys that are on the in the lineup for the dodgers won for thirty one against him. Well, I would never ever say a bad word about kenley Jansen. Is on his game right now. He scares me. But the Red Sox may put these away before its time believe me, and if they can then kenley Jansen if they can't then kenley Jansen is to be reckoned with the guy is still great. I feel sorry for what he's dealing with. And I think he's gritty gutsy, but you know, kimbrough's no slouch either both. These bullpens are really really strong. These are these are two good teams. I don't think they're the best two teams. I think these are two good teams. What's your thoughts on Manny Machado? And just the way he's been pretty demoss postseason. I am old school my friends. It made me sick to my stomach to see what he did it at first base. Tasers secular. It makes me sick to my stomach to see him going into second day slake that and I think the thing that made me the sickest is when you say hustling is not my Cup of tea on a scout, my friends and the first thing that we fill in. There's three things can this guy play is he better than what we have. And number three. Can you play for us? And for me on my form. No he cannot play for us. There are teams that would love to have him though. Run to him. That's fine. You put that guy in the mid west or in some cities, you put them in San Francisco and watching my hustle watch. What happens for me? It's a way over the top. I didn't like it. I don't like it. And I think it's going to hurt him. I I. I think the one team that everyone talked about is the Phillies in him going to I'm calling because out here. He he killed. Yeah. Try this or New York or any other big market that he's projected to go. What do you think is agents said the reaction of his agent when he read those comments, please. You just saw it. You saw him hustle. You saw last game. He played hustling kept his mouth shut. But you know, what damage is done. He is not the type of guy that I think is gonna win you the pennant. I like us a scrapper much more. Yeah. You can knock the fence down. But you know, it's not all about him. You give me a Justin Turner any day of the week. I'll take that Bernie. I think I'm sorry. Go ahead. Why don't you finish your thought? Go ahead. I think in general this dodgers team is a little bit over the over the top for me. I think pointing to your muscles rounding, you know, your home run your home run trots a bit over the top for me. I was just curious on how fast that switch is flipped when you see a guy like minimum Chato acting this way because we see a pro sports, Bernie talent will usually Trump everything else. Yes it well. And that's why I said there are teams that are going to run to them they wanna badly and again for the clubs that I was with with the Houston Astros with the Seattle Mariners. I don't think we would have taken that type of demonstrative behavior. But the game has changed and you either love it or or get out of it and don't pay any attention. I happen to love it. But I don't have to like what I see from some players believe me ninety nine percent of these guys are much different. They're wonderful guys. And all it takes one guy to show off like that. And give other people a bad name. I didn't like it. I guess that clear. Hey, we got you a prediction with the Red Sox in either six or seven but tomorrow night who is your guy is it sale is occurs show. Or is it somebody else? No Kershaw gets game one. I think Kershaw is pitching very well. I worry about sale I worry about about the hospital the stomach. I don't know if he's less weight. I haven't seen him.

"Soldier story. Oh, yeah. Do man. Tau Kalugin grad. Talking about a movie, a movie, we'll we'll put gene on it. Seen it. All right. Got the DVD. Oh, that one. When kenley Jansen was not. It was not the guy he was. It's believable. I love that. Come in in the eighth. You gotta leave him out. We were pitch away last night from him coming in the eighth. That's okay. Everyone's a pitch away from giving up a home run. I don't mind that that's the general comfortable with what Kim I it was doing last night I was comfortable with our lead. Yes, I I was. was comfortable with the comfortable that if you gave up giving up a run or to decision would have been made in might have been. Someone else because we do have somewhat of an embarrassment of riches. But if that ball had gone though now six and five eighty, I believe in Jansen I I am not. I am not afraid of a one run game in ninth. I I'm not afraid of going to road face Milwaukee. I think we have the best team in the National League, and I bet a roster is just as good as any team in nationally that once you get an American Lee, you gonna see sphere my face, right, right now I'm going to brewers Mike thinking five house. He one thing that encouraged me with the guy Jansen last night is although it wasn't a safe situation. Remember key. How many runs that we need? How many are less three or less? All right. Here we go to. Analytic thing. Okay. That's not analytics. It's just a regular step fourteen as backing brother, Babe. Ruth was playing, but. L. z. he did this against the top of the line of one two, three hitters, right? You know what I mean? That was pitchy guy. Kuna was first and then FREDDY, third. And this was second like that was encouraging like this may know scar not afraid of kenley Jansen because here this is the bottom line. Kenley Jansen is either going to be on the mound when they the World Series or he's going to be on the mound when they get eliminated the these are the two, there's no, hey, to try. He's the guy you're going to go as far as he pitches you right. And right now he's pitching pretty well if it's three to two, if it six to two kenley Jansen is gonna pitch that inning and you're gonna live or die with it. That's just the reality of it. There's no changing course at this point. So I'm not scared of him coming into the game, but I don't feel the same way I did when he came in the game year ago. There's a difference between those two things I I would. I would agree with that. You'll get that much out of me, but. And I remember bye. Bye. Man, I would go to the store. Bye as he did put some fear that is, you could go to the store and come back and make a dinner with Pedro buys on the mound. That dude is the slowest ever Mike goodness, but I just I don't know. "He is not nearly the pitcher that he is in a safe situation, high leverage safe situation as he is in a tie game. But I've got no issue given the fact that kenley has been a little sketchy giving him reps right now and think about it. Now. Now he went into a game. Last night gets a gets a boost of confidence and a good job to get out of it. Once that guy got on this second with one out and I got out of it got out of it. And Ken lease never been a guy who gives you a whole bunch of clean inex-, but all of a sudden you look at you think about the bullpen you think about twenty-seven outs. I'm already in the postseason. I think the dodgers feel like postseason do. I mean, this is. Doer die. Right? So I think though if you figure kenley Jansen for the ninth you figure Cantu mate for either the seventh or the eighth. You've got synchrony to get a tough lefty. You've got scholar, Scott, Alexander whose ground ball, dominant Dylan, Floro look, good Dylan. Floro looked really good last night, really solid those guys great. Come in after my ADA Floro in and Alexandra. I can't remember. It went. It went to the first reliever. Kenta might. Kenley Kershaw went seven than it went Kenta. Then it went kenley than Alexander came in for one pitcher, Peter Cohen, batter and then flora finish it off. Right? And I mean, you know, we've got to start thinking about the twenty-seven outs. It's all about the twenty-seven outs. We don't think about that during the regular season, but he gets six Kershaw, you get six from viewer or maybe even more from those guys and all the sudden you get the outlines. I think the key to the entire postseason is Kent. He is. I think in my mind, he's the single most important player. They'll go as Kenta made a ghost. I would put chanson ahead of my, but I see your point, I think, right. I feel good about John Jansen I guess better than better than you do. But you know, you gotta figure out a way to get to Jansen and somebody just pointed out to me and I forgot this Kenta was lifted for a pinch hitter in the that's why wasn't available to pitch enough. They would have left him in the ninth or not, but. Unlikely. I mean, I think you want. I think you wanna use Cantu the way us kenley manning get really. Yeah. But in I that's the way bring him in a tie game. I wonder you're talking about kenley. Yeah, everytime I wonder sometimes you have a choice, but I, I love their team in their chances again in the postseason thinking about this, Greg says, after the game, Dave Roberts says they only want to throw one inning. Okay. The. Justin Turner is I I want to line this up in the proper order. Justin Turner is the hottest hitter in all of baseball. Right now he is absolutely destroying the ball and Manny Machado hits behind Turner. Yup. So what I think will start to happen is people will pitch around Turner to get to Machado, and that's gonna get Machado going. You know, he hasn't been as great since he came over from the Orioles. I I was looking at his stats, but he's been fine. You know what's he hit ten home runs since he's got to sixty over twenty three. And now he's got thirty three. I mean he's hitting for power. It's just, I guess he's not the guy that would necessarily carry a team at least down the stretch Janney. Turner could. Yeah. And so you've gotta pick your poison us. They're gonna have to pitch Turner. Are you have to pitch to Machado? And I have a feeling Machado is going to get it going. The I remember the other day when I was watching a game of the weekend and Turner got hit in the wrist, the pitch, and I went that. That's Hanley Ramirez getting being five years ago, right? That would ruin us that would back same wrist. It was actually last year more on his on his forearm. I think. And he said afterwards, he was scared that it was some sort of re injury of the exact same situation that kept him out at the beginning of the year..

"But here, let's say this scenario presents itself that you have a, you need to win on the last day of the season. So you have to pitch either Kershaw or bueller. Okay. In that game, now you're into the one game playoff and whoever didn't pitch pitches that next one who pitches the back into that game. And especially if it's in Colorado, like you're saying z and you don't have kenley Jansen Nelson, your pitching Rogers guy would or somebody like that and now you have nobody at the back end. It's it's, that's the worst case is a dicey scenario. Obviously, best-case scenarios that you're up ten zero, you don't really care who's close as Canaries. You don't have to play in that game best-case scenarios that Colorado gets eliminated and that they're not a factor. Any stage of the playoffs for the if you're kenley Jansen. But I feel is they've. The one thing you don't want to do is take a young player like dealer and put him in a that much of unfamiliar situation with that much on the line I will. I would much rather start him and that one game series as opposed to have them close out that one hour is that way he has room for error and zag, and it's a release more familiar with. I agree with all of that. I'd rather have him in that scenario, but I also come back to this that if I have to get three outs and I don't have any good options, I want the guy with the best stuff. I want the guy that has the chance to go out there and just throw it by everybody. And he's the one guy on that team that I can do that say about our pitching situation, nothing good at that. We haven't even mentioned the number to the Detroit Tigers. What do you mean? Our? Oh, here you go. Childers Here's. he's from, I'm from Detroit. Tigers. I was simply say when it when it comes to the situation with kenley Jansen as pertains to the Colorado Rockies that the best case scenario for us is to go up there this weekend and make you so that they don't get in make them playing the one game, make them play in a game, and then we're figure out the rest from their lonzo's name was intrigued rumors all summer long did affect him coming season. Pros that have played in the Little League World Series
"This week, Sunday baseball's actually going to be the little league classic in williamsport, Pennsylvania. We've got the Phillies the Manson, Jess you already there. What are you doing there? So early that you when I talk, I I literally games. I mean, this is this is where at that, but there I'll tell you and I got two boys. I'm a little league coach. I don't know if I should admit that because sometimes if good and bad, but being here we the first opening day, lily World Series got four games, four more tomorrow you on Saturday. And then I'll have a game Sunday prior to our Sunday night game with the Phillies vets. But it's it's cool in the scene here. You'll be here soon BUSTER, but it's it's, it's pretty special. Yeah, you did this game last year? I did not do it. I was on vacation. What's it? Like when you get the big leaguers mixing with a little leaguers. The coolest thing BUSTER in, you know, we, we've seen it only once. You know the cardinals and the pirates here last year and what was really took me aback as expect. Obviously, when the big leaguers get here, the literally will be running up and getting autographs and photos and southeast and Instagram stories and all that. As soon as I remember the cardinals got here first before the pirates and they got off the bus and they were going after because they'd already watched a few of the games. They literally new kids names. You know, Carlos Martinez had some kids internationally that he like. I think it was a catcher Venezuela that he was like, totally adamant. I need to find this kid. I want my photo. Can I get your picture? Got his autograph, and it was so genuine. And this is before the cameras were even on them, or I mean, these big leaguers were fans of these kids. And to me, that's what makes us special is I think we only a bit of a reminder of like why the game of baseball is really played, but especially those guys not to like knock any player by any means, but. I think one hundred sixty two games. You would get it at the grind, but you get here and oh my gosh. Is it exuding up every just pure love for the game? You know, are they that towns and most of them aren't, but oh, they love it and it rubs off and you can tell when the big leaguers get here that there's a little bit of that. Just I remember when I was eleven years old. I remember when I was twelve and you know the stories just come out and it's it's cool and it's important. Along those lines about the players who play in the Little League World series. This week's poll question is who among the alum of the Little League World series, my goodness. There's so many from Chris story. The, you know, the the NHL player who so many current major leaguers Scott Kingery, Michael Conforto in our game or guys who played Little League World series, but who is the best alum of the Little League World series was played in the big leagues in the four choices and believe me. We could have had so many more Todd Frazier, Jason Varitek, Gary Sheffield or Dwight Gooden who would be the best alum of those four. You know, I put Todd Frazier, I voted this week because there's something about him that still just screams little league. I mean, anyone who's ever been around Todd Frazier and BUSTER. I know you know this, you've been around him. I mean, and part of its maybe his size and just as demeanor and the way he acts. I mean, he, he, he's still just has kid and love for the game the way he plays the game. And this is twenty year anniversary of the team that he one Little League World series with with Tom's river New Jersey, and they're all coming back. He's throwing out the first pitch, and I feel like in covering now the Little League World series. My fourth year, those images are the ones that are still

"Your time is important. Get some time back to enjoy the things that you love to do, and that's not the yard tackle today. Tough one for the dodgers last night. They lose to the giants after the bullpen. Can't close it out for Clinton Kershaw who pitched beautifully. Arguably his best performance of the season. Kenley Jansen not available last night because of his heart issues joining us right now is Dr. Collapse doc. You've been all right, great to hear your voice of yours as well doc. So no kenley Jansen has an irregular heartbeat. He's gonna miss some time. Time. There's a report today that says he might have to have a second heart procedure a during the off season. What exactly is he dealing with and how do they fix it? So I am an orthopedic surgeon, but I'm going to do my best to teach you about cardiology and how the heart works. So what sitting in the center of your chest is your heart which takes the blood that's been used by your muscles must blood that's been spent kind of motor oil that's already been used? No more oxygen because it's been in your muscles and you gotta get back to your lungs. Take a deep breath, get the oxygen and get it back into your blood. And now pump that good blood to the tip of your little toes. This pump your heart has four chambers to on the top two on the bottom, the two on the top or an essence holding tanks. They receive the spent blood from your body. That's the right atrium and it receives the blood from your lungs. That's the left atrium, the main pumps that pump, the. Blood to your lungs and then pump the blood to the rest of your body as far away as the tip of your toes. Those are the ventricles. This pumping action actually occurs in a beautiful sequence and it's like his Clapper vision. There's a spark plug in your heart. It's called the essay node, and it lifts and lives in the right hand corner of the right atrium this pathway to cause his beautiful pump to occur then signals to the ventricles to pump. So it's an electrical signal and it's kinda like going from here to the valley on the four or five freeway. But there's sepulveda's there are these other side roads. So when the four zero, five backs up, you can take these side roads in kenley Jansen who has an irregular heartbeat for all intent and purpose. He's using supposedly boulevard more than the four. Oh five to have this electronic signal to. Beautifully. Get these pumps to fire at the exact same time. And that's what an irregular heartbeat is that it's this erratic, not making sense. I'm pumping. Now you're pumping now rather than it happening in a beautiful sequence. And it causes someone to feel dizziness, shortness of breath and weakness, and the procedure you're talking about is the fact that you need to sensually block off sepulveda's boulevard so that the pump only uses the four, oh, five freeway. I hope that's a good clap revision to help explain. The has a great Clapper vision for as someone who tries to get off the four. Oh, five. Go sepulveda's in In real rooster estate. taking trust me, you, you speaking my language dot, Clint of a question because I remember once I had an irregular heartbeat during a EKG reading getting ready for training camp one year, but it was because of the excitement of football literally that I couldn't wait for it to be overweight so I can go watch him film. I, it's true story dot. Is there a certain ways that you can I guess, diagnosed this beforehand because we see it a lot at the combine with NFL players where guys have an irregular heartbeat and then it's able to, I guess, fix itself on its own. Is this a certain way that we with Kinley because it's the second possible procedure? Could this fix itself on its own for other people who have this kind of a situation or he's at a stage word? This is the only way to go about fixing it. Good question. You know, we're dealing with a pump which has to be in perfect sequence..

"A safe you must be a reliever who finishes the game you have to enter the game with a lead of no more than three runs you enter the game regardless of the count and the potential tying run is either on base so three run lead potential tying run on base or pitched three innings now let's say and this is one of my least favourite scenarios i'm gonna use kenley jansen let's say the closer kenley jansen comes into a game with the three run lead okay ninth inning now he gives up two runs hangs on and gets the save so in other words he came in duke didn't pitcher pitching adly but ultimately got to save got final out in that scenario do you think kenley or any reliever should get a say no and a matter of fact i think they should relax those rules and just leave it up to the official score to determine what is a safe central isn't that's not a bad guy comes in and loads the bases right and and you know gives up two runs special they think about that in that in in the scenario you just described let's say there are two outs right in the ninth inning and they bring kenley jansen and so is only job is to get one out and the score is four to one he loads the bases gives up a two run single so now it's four to three there's runners on first and third and he gets the last hour he gets credit i say right let's get credit for any right yeah i think the same it up to the official score i think the save statistic needs to be more narrow i don't think you're.

"You know pitching his generally one of those things like the only reason spring training is as long as it is because takes pitchers time to get into form right right so the democrats have their number the amac the diamondbacks have beat the dodgers nine times in a row well not counting the playoffs but right in the regular season and i think that you know there's been games where they score a bunch of runs and then the next night they can't score anything there's games where they can't get anybody out and you know they scored what the can't would this not but the pitching has let them down they just they're just not working right you know they're in a little funk to start the season and some of it i think what i what i'm a little concerned about is the velocity with kershaw and kenley jansen those are your two big horses kershaw's bossi's dipped a little bit i was i've been listening to buster only quite a bit he joe i i think i might have heard that interview and he's talking about kershaw's velocity and ken leesville kenley kelly's he's strikeout pitcher and it's that cutter that he throws that gets everybody out but cutter and a slider that he kind of plays off each other he's normally in the low nineties like somewhere between ninety one and ninety four same thing with kirsch is kind of right in that same range can i think has been around eighty nine and it's not like you can't get people out at that but you do have to adjust it's not the same level of dominance when you lose two or three miles an hour the question for kenley is is he just is he is this just like he's still getting ready because remember he missed a lot of spring training without hamstring injury so he's still kind of building up is the velocity get a comeback or is this now something he's gonna have to adjust to the way the way buster described how kershaw was a pitcher intrinsic that's right he's getting to the point of his career where thirty years old where it's got to change things up and then.

"Worn down but yeah he got he got tagged a little bit especially in houston where game two and game to blue game two that's right so he only through four and two thirds innings spring and i think that you know part of that is the dodgers saying all right he pitch deep into the postseason last year we're not gonna work them really hard in the spring i'm not worried about the last movie his philosophy because he's just ramping up i think is going to be fine but kenley jansen let's see pedro mora has tweeted that kenley jansen says do you have that quote pedro moore says kenley jansen admits he is working on some mechanics so he's working on something sometimes there's nothing well no in other words kenley saying yeah there's something i'm i'm working on do you have it there yes kenley jansen knowledged tonight he is fighting a few mechanical issues within his delivery after his first field outing he insisted nothing was mechanically wrong so now he's saying or is changing might might be a mechanics thing i'm not worried about it but i will say this i said this to greg this morning if something happens to kenley jansen i think the dodgers season is over got some would say reaction to no i'm saying if they lose kenley jansen it's over for the year we said last year before clayton kershaw got hurt if kershaw gets hurt it's over for the dodgers this year and then went to the game seven world series so yes this is this whole team is next man up next man up we have so much depth that i think that even if ganley goes down hold on little the thing is fine the real story would be maze aren't relievers the easiest thing to ramona hanley but reliever reliever in the game but it but relievers in general are pretty easy to replace that's why they just let brandon moral right but that's they let him walk because he wanted to go somewhere and be closer was offered a multiyear deal.

"Right very controversial until i was pointed out i miss harlem nights yeah they both became extra controversial at that point so the dodgers fall again kenley jansen struggles mechanic seemed to be an issue according to dave roberts but you know is there an issue physically from everything that that i hear from from kenley from the training staff he's fine physically and just just didn't execute well first two outs he gets two outs in the end he's got goldie up and very uncharacteristic doesn't walks two guys and give the homer so it's going to happen it's it's happened obviously to two audis and road for kenley very uncharacteristic and he's our guy and it just one of those things and he's going to be ready to small so basically it's baseball yeah he's our guy he's our guy he is he's our guy but it's something just a monitor it could just be an anomaly could be a precursor to something i think he's fine i think look he's five games in two you know home run giving up and then three run blown save how long has he been on top guys a question three seasons three four seasons i would say for because i mean he went to the best closer right because historically in baseball it's not often i mean yeah of course you have your mariano rivera zain your trevor hoffman's but closers don't stay on top for for long short shelf life in a way if he is been closing games since two thousand twelve so it's the sixth year yeah he had twenty five twenty eight thirty or forty forty one.
