"Off a few things. Maybe the crazy chicane that they put in you know. Maybe they don't have that, and then they. have some slower areas well. They're going to have the crazy chicane because that that's their to slow people down. He crashed the Lavar straight goods circuit nineteen. Seventy testing McLaren. But this event is going to be October sixteen, so he was alone on. The track is slow. He was testing. Yeah. So the actually, it wasn't clear to me when they said they were going to do the time trial, but he said it was on the track. That supercars has never been on it because my first thought was. They're gonNA run the revival track, and then they're also going to run the hill climb. The driveway, right? But then they said L., but we've never done the supercars before, and this is the only time we're ever going to do it so I. Guess they're GonNa. Do something on the on the track. They are have the vintage race, and they are going to have like the manufacturer booths in new car displays and presentations, and are just gonNA come up with a way to film the whole thing. Right and I don't know I. Don't know if there's going to be. I assume sort of like segment reporters and people on site and jump from camera to camera and then. Something along the lines that. I think it's going to be interesting to watch. I think it's going to be a lot of fun to watch. I would recommend. If you don't follow. Goodwood on Instagram I. Think they have a Goodwood. "Weld Dot com wherever O'Reilly advance auto parts Walmart where wherever you get anything you get jp well so. Let's see we've got some Let me give you that. Thing in my pile. got some cool cars coming up at Meka. Frank make them come in son of a Dana Macomb of Macomb Automotive Auctions the. I was looking up at Meka, which would traditionally doesn't have a ton of cars that interests us or me traditionally, but they've got some heavy hitters. Ken Miles. Ford Gt are the three fifty our prototype. mean the one that you know Ken. Miles put I well. I got a ton of racing miles on it and the Ken Mile Story. Everyone knows now, but also it was like the test mule for the GT. Three fifty are which I've always thought was a really cool piece, and a really cool piece of history and I think they made thirty four of. Of them and they they've not really caught up to the market in my in my world in my mind, yeah, shelby fastback, real deal made in Venice not in Detroit. Lots of racing history in a very limited number made, and you know we've seen of it. Auctions kind of flatten out at six, hundred, grand or something like that, but I feel like that's a million dollar car now that. The Ken Miles Test Mule with ten miles, and that's being out there I. There's no Chris I don't think there's an estimate on that car. If I recall if it's on your sheet and there's no estimate, yeah. Yeah, well, let's talk to frank about it got when when he calls in see, he's got some thoughts on where that's going to go I mean there were thoughts on the bullet as well right when that sold right, but I think this is the better car. You know I don't know I just think the racing history is better than the movie history. Well, you got Steve McQueen. And then you know there's ten miles and the bullet went for three and a half or three, two, three, three or something something like that. I I don't know this is. This is an interesting car because. First off, it's got A. There's an l eighty eight convertible corvette with a ton of racing miles at one, thousand, nine, hundred, sixty, seven with Tana, racing miles on it, and that estimates between four and five million bucks, so are they saying this is going to go for more? They saying it's going to go for last. Also, there's the. I didn't know it always slips my mind that the l. eighty-eight, the big block corvette commercial to go for that kind of money. Because you see so many like corvettes, go across the block and and and you know we're talking about here is is a few. Some differences, but of course but. And then you know you see the one roller four million dollars you'll like. It. Did we just see one roll off there for forty eight thousand dollars? It's not the LA the La Eight. The also that GT forty. Four GT. Competition Prototype this four. That's the Ken Miles one so that's seven point five to ten million estimate. This is the Ken Miles one are can miles as in the description, I don't know if this is the can mas when you're talking about, but this is the. Five Ken Miles one was the Mustang. Oh, excuse me. Fusing. I. He could have had something to do with this car. It's not like Ken byles drove this Lamar or anything like that. It's A. It's a com Ford. GT. I don't know why it doesn't say gt four. I don't know. I think CDC forty as well, but we're looking at is a vintage car of GT forty. Prototype roadster now sixty five was this. Not The car that was at our enemies. You the same car. It's the same car that I think popped up mecum a year ago or two years ago I. Don't think it was our am. I think it was Mecum and I think maybe Dana Mecum owns the car and I. Think also this is one of those. God Damn, it What's his name? Not Barest, but the other car customized. Up On coin guy, that was there for millionaires yeah. We'll figure. It out crystal. It'll come to the end the thing, but are like. In twenty, fifteen had at the prototype GT, forty was the roadster I don't think it had the the number on the side, but it was white, so maybe it's a different. Car I it may be. This is the one popped up last year them and then got withdrawn or something like that. Get into the Oregon. From Frank but yeah. I, they've been getting more of. That's what we've been seeing. The ones we follow our our the racing cars and they've been picking up a lot of the American racing cars with some real prestige to them and. They've been. Dean Jeffries. Yes, seeing, Jeff. Dean? Jeffries did a lot of customizing. He was also. By the way Dean Jeffries As a crow flies. Was His shop was? A mile and three quarters away from embarrasses shop. He was. On. The one freeway and embarrasses right to lookalikes like north just boom just. Like you, you could get from Dean Jeffries to bears his shop. Not Take the freeway for sure you wouldn't have three. We just cut cut up co-anchor. Something are cut cut down. I don't whatever it wasn't in crossover into to look alike but. He had this car sitting around for long periods of time, and then he actually put some sort of NASCAR engine or something into it once and I remember I would talk to guys and there's like there's a Ford Gt. That's just. At Dean Jeffrey. And they had the big damnation alley big trucks ter- thing super trucks, their mobile. You ever see that thing does not. It's not ringing a bell. I think we've looked at up nation alley supertruck stir. It was like parked in his parking lot for thirty years. Now that it that's it. Yeah, he'll get get the side shot or whatever yeah like some kind of big super. Stupid movie trucks there, but whatever? It was parked there from the anyway. The Ford GT was parked there I. Think at some point. Somebody got hold of it and said we got to put it all back to how was yeah can't have the NASCAR engine, or that four Kammer in whatever whatever he was doing. Of course, that's where the money is, but. Yeah! It's. It's good. It's good it's like. The big. The movie car things don't do much for me. Now they don't do much for me either. But what they are is. So you and I like the stuff with the story, but we like the stuff with the story that has to do with Pete Brock Yeah, or some other guy like that are ken miles or something like that the movie stuff?.

"Title of the servants as genuine Christian cross spirits based on Psalm. One one three which I'll get into shortly. I just wanted to preface it with a couple of thoughts that I think. Help US put this topic of prosperity in the proper context. I'm going to read a bit of of what the Lord has laid on my heart this morning as I was doing the final notes of this and the topic of prosperity because of its being abused and manipulated by some of the modern church seems to be a topic that is sadly neglected from a genuine biblical perspective. Seems like a lot because the Prosperity Gospel is such an obvious rupture the word prosperity can actually have a negative connotation in much of the modern Christian church but it shouldn't be that way there is a genuine biblical prosperity that we have as believers so just because something biblical has been hijacked. Doesn't mean we should abandon rather it seems important to address it and provide biblical clarity in areas. We're really error has clouded the water and this was the case when we started this church and ministry seven or eight years ago. People came to me and said well. Why would you call it the way you know? When people hear the way they think the way international which is a call is done horrific damage. But I said because we're taking the name bath what it was originally meant to be if you read the book of acts. The Christian Church was called the way before it was called Christianity. Was the original identification of the Church and she said I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but through me and John. Fourteen six in that same spirit because something has been corrupted. Doesn't mean we should. We should try to correct it and bring it back to what it means in a biblical sets. Jesus referred to himself as the true and John. Fourteen six I believe that that applies on so many levels that we see throughout Christianity and in the context of today's message. I believe that if we are truly abiding and cries in his word in his truth and whatever we do will be based in that truth will glorify him. If we prosper our prosperity will be true and genuine because it will be grounded in truth and will truly be joyful blessing without the painting of the world and the teaching of human nature thing I love about when we study the word and we really spent time in the in the Study of the Gospel and Meditating on God's Word is that we see reflections of Biblical truth in the world around us notice. I use the word reflections. Reflexions are not revelations. See if we say that God is revealing something from the world that may be the case but how we know that's true we hold it up to the life scripture what we normally see in the world around us are reflections of what is revealed to us. Through God's word in scripture is word reflected in so many ways in the world around us but in this topic today that we're going to get into about prosperity what it really comes down to. Is something being genuine? Something being false and one of the ways that I saw exhibited was in this movie that Lori and why I went saw a few weeks ago called four versus for art so many of the movies nowadays aren't worth seeing but this one. I really enjoy this film part because I'm racing fan. I love cars but the more the on that he was the the way that they develop the story and the relationship between the main characters. But in the opening scenes of this movie Christian Bale's character it was based on a story is based on Carroll Shelby and a racer named king miles. These were real guys. It was a historical story that was being conveyed in this film. But in this opening scene Christian Bale's character. Ken Miles I. He owns a repair shop in Los Angeles. Back in the sixties. He tells the owner of a sports car that he's preparing that the reason the car seems to be running poorly is that the owner doesn't understand the car or know how to drive it. See Ken Miles is one of these guys that he doesn't cutting corners. Just tell people the way it is. And this guy's complaining that his car backfires it doesn't run right or the reason is performance hard that needs to be driven performance manner especially in the sixties. Charles visits worked on cars forever. Yeah you drive a car and had a good level of performance keep it performing so he suggested the guy that maybe would be better off if he switched to a station wagon you know and this is this guy. That's very proud. That's very caught up in materialism he says you know. This car is just. Don't understand how to drive it. You don't have a feel for baby better off in the country squire. I think that's when you're first which was a big station by him. Back so the guy gets angry. He jumps in the car he drops the question quickly goes off occurred. And then he accelerates for the down the street he can hardly hold onto the car because of the Horse Power. He's in something way over his head. So that is that the owner of the sports car. He was coveting an image. That the car helps betray. He was seeking something that the car could not give him. Ken Miles love the car because it could give him what he sought from. Its speed performance handling. He had no interest in cars for image or status can miles was a racer and so he honored a race car by driving to the for the right reasons and in the way that it was designed to be driven. Ken Miles truly prosper behind the wheel of a racecar. The Guy The guy who bought the sports car from Indian covetousness suffered because he was in something. He didn't understand something from the car that the car was not designed to give him what he wanted was seeking was unattainable to him from a car or anything else and this is the trap that so many spend their lives. So what you see. If you see that movie.

"Let's talk about Ford versus Ferrari my votes Ferrari a great film great. I was exhilerated from the very start. Not Surprise exhilarating. Just the beautiful cavs double de clutching the it was just beautiful and of course of course when when the Ford execs visit Ferrari with the vein. Imagine and hope that they are going to buy out Ferrari which was never on the cards. you get to walk through a little sort of factory room of all these just beautiful wonderful ferraris from the early nineteen sixties and just made my mouth water by nothing else to help me help me. The year in which it opens is sixty four. I think so. I think we're talking about the sixty four th the main The main Lemond race that the film is based around these. Bryce is nine sixty five sixty four. He's winning the nineteen sixty four I think carroll shelby talking about couch she'll be rising cabdriver. Who who on doctor's orders gave up because he had a issue with his heart? And so I was told that if you keep taking those nitroglycerine pills and you keep driving it. Two hundred miles an hour on something really bad is going to happen. So He sends we gave it away and became a manufacturer and designer of motor vehicles and his name is renowned throughout the world is a designer of a car that and almost manufacturer because the beat the Ferrari which is kind of amazing car was what that was the gt a forty that Ford put the money into so he was building a cockle Cobra which was very very popular and he was a hand building them so this is a very funny scene in the film where he's already promised one Katha like four or five other people sit that great line. Hey Steve McQueen oh I forgot Steve McQueen. uh-huh you forget Steve McQueen. It's a funny film. It's a really funny film. There's a great line in which I think I can say having now that the film's being out for however maybe six weeks and it still on at the cinema and I do urge people if they can see it at the cinema to see at the biggest cinema. They can't it's a man's this film. The film is full of men. There is there a Ken. Miles does have a why does actually have one or two lines. But he's young boy. He's son has five more lines than go. Far More Presence in the film than Shea Ken Miles from Birmingham which you wouldn't know by listening to Christian biles strange mixture of dialects that he uses for Ken Miles accent. Everyone ebbing an excellent sounds like it does not sound like Christian Bale in his film. That's US more awesome but only little small cop of orange do sound low. He's from the don't think there's any time he sounds like that. vitalise okay he. His character is Irascible Cranky. My top man. He's rude he knows what he's doing. Eddie doesn't like people who don't know what they're doing telling him what to do. He is a character in this film and so is Matt Damon's Pudgy Carroll Shelby. He does has a great job as well. It's a film that I don't think it's going to be that much interest to people who are excited by motor cars or motor racing now. I don't think I could be wrong. I'm just so subjective in women have seen this film and really enjoyed it okay so the thing that women are interested in racing racing. I'm saying what I'm saying. He's an incredibly Blackie film. Does I mean the white I beehive I mean. They sort of like constant beefing with each other rolling around in the couple couple of fights in this film. It's no quiet man. Those seven brides for seven brothers but there are a couple of fights in this film. It's true her quiet man. I want to see what happens but I will tell you that every just about every racing car driver won't Hands Grin De.

"Bale Matt Damon good to see you guys Ford. V Ferrari love the movie loved it and Christian. pull the Mike sorry up Close to the soup dealer there I'd worked on a documentary. The twenty four hour war which is yeah same topic and and Also did a shelby documentary. So I came in loaded with information and sort of worried that I was going to be bumped and I wasn't Tessick Nick and everyone thought with loved as well. So congratulations number. One on knocking it. How ballpark and how how much into cars or the sport or the hobby where you guys into? Before you started the film Matt You can start. I wasn't which I think was an asset because I along with the director. We talked about that. He he didn't ever fetish is the cars because he wasn't mcharg Guy you know. And so you're always going just for story just for story. And this is a really wonderful story that I think transcends cars and so people who aren't car people. I think people really enjoy it. Yeah I totally agree. It's all lot of heart in an like. I mean like any movie like rocky wasn't really a boxing. Movie a movie yeah about heart and overcoming adversity and all the things and boxing becomes pardon the Pun the vehicle to just express all that so Christian. How about you? I think more than some but nothing like you like I I loved. It was very bonding experience. In between my dad himself. We would watch Formula One when I was growing up. One time got to go to brands hatch absolutely mind blowing loved Apish irrevelant prost and Senna Nikki Louder Show. Oh Santa Tragically die on the TV show had that passed and was aware of them on as well so anew shelby a anew lemond by didn't know Ken Miles didn't know the story about sixty six Ken miles after doing the documentary. I just said the stories stories Ken miles like that's crazy star mean everyone knew carroll shelby and a household name nobody knew Ken Miles and nobody knew the tragedy of that story. And I don't want to spoil it but we could have done a whole movie on the ending. Yeah on on. Just what happened to Ken Miles and how that works and how people memories and they move on and you don't even know this character even amongst Karn throughs. Yes I would have to bring up the name Ken Miles and they didn't know about it and I thought you did such an amazing job playing him because he's interesting quirky different kind of guy. I think it was a real saving grace. And the guy was a very strong character would not compromise it till we we he was a real purist a real purist racer. He considered himself first and foremost Mechanic but was a phenomenal racer and that that search for this kind of perfect lap in this purity tapie of experience was his saving grace but is absolutely Achilles heel as well he just was constantly shoot himself in the foot. Winning does Luge Asian the war completely and now getting long in the tooth and not really having any opportunity until shelby recognizes in his friend if he would just shot up for once and let shelby shelby just give him some kind of strategy than he can put in there and the fact that these guys bloody did it you know and they took on God in the form of Enzo Ferrari D One is phenomenal. You know it's funny. Someone was interviewing me. And they're talking about how mighty Ford was and how Small Mall Ferrari was. But I said you know Mike. Tyson was the smallest heavyweight in his era and he just knocked. Everyone's ass a house. So Ferrari Ferrari. Was Mike Tyson like sure. They were Little Boutique Company. Not that well funded but they won all the time so in a way they were the giant. Yeah up against Ford was physically the giant but then have those wins. It's incredible story. I know you got to meet Peter. Miles the son of Ken Miles. which is much of that much of the the story revolves around cannon in Peter and Peter this this he must be over the moon about this? I hope so. I do hope so. I watched the film with around with peers. Door and Elvis. She really bloody move in having the film you'll understand why for that. And he was so helpful to me and telling me stories of is dad giving me and our personal artifacts and photographs and all of that he was. He was really generous. Jason I would be texting and photographs from the set. I'm throughout you know. It was wonderful to have him around Matt. How much did you know about shelby I it's always funny whenever they go. Matt Damon's GonNa play Carroll Shelby. I Know Matt Damon. He can't play then you see him and he's Carroll Shelby became name Carroll Shelby. Yeah I didn't know I mean I knew I obviously knew he's kind of an iconic guy but but I didn't know a lot about him and I didn't know a lot about him in relation to this story story this relationship that he had with miles which I thought was really you know it was really the kind of the basis what I was doing in the movie. I mean it was interesting to watch. Go Go back and look at stuff on shelby. He would talk about miles and he'd get choked up and this experience Lamont Sixty six. What these guys went through? I I mean it really. I think stayed with him for the rest of his life and he would and he would say you know you know get miles an engineer. You know he get choked up you you know when you go like man like God this carrying this you know when they brought the three cars in together a they didn't i. I don't think they knew that that meant miles house wouldn't win. I mean he thought Still GonNa get the triple crown be even given that he he had all this stuff and he had to he he had to he had to. He had to toe the line shelby. Head to toe the line he had as Charlie agape you said to us you know they put they put you know tens of of millions of dollars in two zero gram and what they thought and what he knew was. I'M GONNA come back here next year in Kansas GonNA win next year. Yeah we're GonNa win this thing again and again and again our car charlie. I we we ask Charlie. When you went over there you are already once you bring that already one daytona that year Charlie oppo? Yeah when when when he wants spike interviews you guys. He's not doing a deep dive on Charlie Ackerman Charlie I know a lot. And he's and he's he's wonderful thing. That's crazies these guys. Were doing this at nineteen twenty twenty one so you meet the guy that was ken miles. Right right hand man and he's a sixty three year old guy like he's not old. Yeah it's crazy. Nancy Vivid memories vividly got choked up. Of course talking about can Dan when I was interviewing him and we said Charlie. How sure were you when you guys went over there and sixty six? They were dominating with that car. I said did you think How she were you you were going to win? And he was like one hundred percent I said really is at one hundred percent. If we didn't break down we were GONNA win. He goes we. That car was just such a thug and a and and they knew it and and so I think the you know to slow down you know what I mean. They all have their own perspective that all have their own ideas about why that happened and it just was like Ford could not. They'd put too much money into it to have the story be anything but the Ford car. It could go so that was shelby. He did ask miles many times arms to do something strategic in a different race. Yes yeah miles. Always bloody ignored him. Even sometimes he would laugh and be flipping the bird to show and I think I love that. I think he knew. Hey Look I've got to do my duty. I have to ask but there's no way is going to do it and then Ken bloody did why I think because can recognized how much shelby on the line for him and wanted to give gratitude and did think he's still going to win the triple crown and did these. He's bloody mind-blowing laps beforehand. Only to them find he goes screwed over. Yeah people don't know you win Daytona you win see bring you win you win the triple crown. I sort of like horse racing and no one had done only season at up until then can Obviously in a position to do that I don't WanNa give away too much of the story but you know if you think about when you were saying they thought they were just gonNA come back every year in whenever they did rightfully show and they did you. Also think about Bruce McLaren who didn't get the win and he probably thought he was coming coming back and then he died a couple years later testing. I think Canam car McLaren The guy searched ahead and got the win and Blah Blah Blah. He he didn't have such a happy ending either in terms of turns of his life. The thing that's really poetic and interesting is here. We are fifty years later and McLaren. I saw McLaren car in the parking lot. I see shelby cars in the parking lot now. Ten Miles els is going to be highlighted in this major film like it is. I don't know gives you hope. It's kind of interesting using the McLaren and shelby and now miles fifty years on here. We are talking about him. God I don't I don't think they could have ever imagined that right now. I do do hope the miles becomes more of a common name. You know because You know it was tragic and he was so bloody talented and like you said within Racing Jason Circles I actually thought he was better known within racing circles than he is. The actually. Don't even know within those circles and he really deserves an and coming from Britain as well right to be embraced as a bloody national hero for what he did and a lot of people have no idea. A lot of ancillary people like Phil Remington all. Yeah he was so essential. You know there was a triangle. It was really the three of them and that was something that Peter said to me. He said. Please make sure that you give fill his is credit because they could not have done it without him. I interviewed Dan Gurney just before he passed and I went down to his place where he's building stuff for space acts and everything else gurneys another amazing story in the film small role. Oh his son. Yeah Yeah and and he showed me fill RIMINGTON's workbench who had just passed. I mean he made it late. He said that's where Ram that's where he worked for me. He's we still haven't touched his workspace. God there's so much to this story could do. There is actually a legendary or somebody. He has the rights to one of the books that kind of covers documents this time and I think they were still talking about doing a whole extended series on it and they could totally still do it. I go like hell. Yeah Hell I mean because you because there's there's so many stories the the one drawback to doing two and a half hour movies like you got to choose you got it there so it's so full of different. You know the great colorful characters and really interesting people. I mean you could really do a ended run a of this. You know it's it's it's an onion and you just have something I did. A movie called Winning the Racing Life A- Paul Newman and in the middle of that movie we we discovered a guy named Willy t ribbs first African American driver at Indianapolis and then did our next one about him. Like as you're making a doc about not this one thing you discover the all these other stories and they're all worth telling Just who's got to pick and choose. Who's got the time to do it all are you? Guys is their Oscar. Talk here I mean the movie was I saw. I'll tell you I saw the movie. Obviously I knew everything going into the movie and then I really loved the movie but then I thought maybe I love it like everyone thinks their kids are cute. Good I oh look like Winston Churchill but maybe this just the father thinking is thinking. His daughter should win the Miss Florida. Competition we we we. We've just do a thing and then and then it's up to other people that are so but I was hat so I got back and I was like I don't know I love this movie but I don't know I'm just preloaded to love it. I looked on rotten tomatoes. It's eight percent last time. I checked. Oh I didn't know they had anything up yet. Oh sixty sixty folks folks who weighed in and I gotta tell you in this woke area. We're living in now. This all white. All male all straight casts getting to eighty eight percent on rotten tomatoes not too shabby and they don't like car movies. Either on the gas guzzlers. Yeah he's just a question. We got a lot in France when we were kept being asked is appropriate in this right. Regressive some bug in the climate change and everything that we made a film about cars that run on on CASS. Kristen said should we go. Should we go back and make them electric. Why didn't you wouldn't cool running straight it just propelled by gravity? Yes so I thought to myself Really high score in a wo- period where we don't like gas gas and petrol fuel being.

"But also I've read it interviews that scully. Hanson brought a lot from her own divorce into her character. Laura dern apparently based her character on a divorce lawyer she had on you so I think no about Mike is probably more collaborative than we think he might actually be a bit more like they. They're actually as we see in the film where he's not manhandling characters but he's being carried by them as well so it doesn't really come together but what you can't read denies the there's there's a perusing quality to the performances and ethics. Come something compelling about this character. I guess it's probably true to life in you know we're all trying to juggle and balance. It's different relationships and not just with our partner but children and friends and other family members and even ourself right and those things don't always work in harmony in there can be conflict so I guess in a way it's fitting that is a little bit like you said this different ideas and different militias fighting there's different forces at wor. Yeah it's possible to do it but I think he's doing is trying to do. Both with Aaron in Kosovo is at the same time will be confusing for instance. The the senior have married. We even even. The envelope is painful because the acting is fine but the editing is insane it makes no sense and it's just it's just you feel like the. The scene is escaping you in just happening. You just have to wait for it to end. And that's completely in contrast to the arguments which is super lived in and super just shot the short. You don't need any extra stuff to make it interesting. Because he's actors and doing that job and the actors in the scene with. We've doing their jobs. But they're just being cut up in pieces and his restraining. So I think the mix of ideas and tones is also in the directing the for making and that's bit strange strange because I think the script can can have all of these things at the same time because that's true like marriages Many things it's ridiculous. It's it's sad and it's about you and the wife and the powder and everyone else so that's fine but just in terms of the scene in the world works. I think it's kind of coherent. And even though it has moments to have read sad that the whole thing works of the peace and squid was viewed from the child's points of view. Almost remove parents splitting up. This you feel very much in the whirlwind as much as this tries to be even-handed and pay respects to both science. It's it's definitely told. Open the points for you for a guy who's been through this process. What scores would you give this in anticipation enjoyments? In retrospect I think anticipation I'D SAY FOX IS I. Do you love these actors. But I haven't loved all of Bombay staff but I was excited. Her good things enjoyments probably three or four. I'm not sure they're really frustrating things about this. And in retrospect I would say for because I do recommend even if only for the acting and because it's from that not many films are made like that this is nicer from. That's about literally just a divorce known about you. Know bombing at a four four for anticipation and probably just about four for enjoyment and three. In retrospect because it's being released on Netflix couple sitting down to watch this it is quite musical marriage story. I mean that trailer does make it overly CIPOLLINI say yeah. People know what they're getting into. But there's a sweetness in a lightness to the foams and I think there's an optimism to and I guess it just depends where you're coming from whether viewers coming from For me falls across the border thing that nobody made some of my favorite films last ahead and a half and even when they don't fully deliver. I always enjoy watching them and talking about them. And I think this is another good entry into like heaven without marriage story in some cinemas. This weekend Netflix. Later in the month up next. We're going from driver to racing drivers Lamont. Sixty six Damian Christian Bale Star in the true story of American car ardizzone Carroll Shelby and British driver. "He announced that he let his custom Ray bans, his custom built Ray ban sunglasses were left behind. And I said, well, that's not like you. And he said, yeah, I know I showed up, and it was light. And then when you leave it's dark. And that's the first thing that'll bite you and mix that with a few beers. And that's what happens, but he said, I took them off. And I set them on a little intake, that's by the bathroom, that's not used for eating or shuffling or work or anything. It's a little table, and that's where I set them. And I said, well, that was on a Saturday. I said, well, hopefully they'll just be there. When you go look on a Sunday or Monday, and then I became obsessive over it. And so did he so he'll weekend Runar? They're gone. Okay. So they're gone. And I said, okay, they're gone. Yes, I should. Nobody stole them. The people they're friendly. They're not by the way, the place thinned out, by the time you laughed in left your glass. Hey Matt had left and left his classes, ten o'clock at night. Everyone was gone and whoever's left wouldn't have stolen them. But I do know what happened. Somebody pick them up in the name of doing something right? And I said, they handed it to like, Nate Nate put it in his desk drawer, shut it and then don't say a word and then they're gone. They're just go on Mars. And I kept saying every time ago, did you talk? I talked to Kaelin Kaelin hasn't seen. Have you talked to Dylan Dylan's out sick? But dill it's coming back tomorrow. And I'm going to talk to then Matt asked every human being the other shop this shop where those crisis. And he's like I saw him earlier today, and I was like, I, I guess they're gone, but I know they weren't stolen. I know somebody just by the way, you can leave them on the table because that's what the person's memory. They're hoping. That's where they are. So they're going to go back to the scene of crime and lost his kids. What was the rule? Stay where right? Counting on you ought to come back for the rest of us day where loved last parents. Well, the beef air to my family, we would never be at a place where I would get lost. You have to be at magic mountain public Disneyland or something. That's where you lose a kid, you know, lose on your room at the door lock recount letting on a mattress on the floor. Slot. Right. So I kept saying, I kept saying to Matt, we're gonna find this glasses. Somebody put them somewhere. They're not saying anything which they do to me all the time. And it drives me insane and nobody stolen, nobody stolen in their custom glasses. They don't think they're there. Those are my way fares. No, they're not. No, they're different. So. Certain point today, he just went, well, they're gone because I've talked to everybody and nobody knows where they are. And they're not worried left them and he's bright enough to know. I set him on this little table again. Then table. It's an a little in table with some auction car auction, catalogue, sitting, there's no reason to straighten up or do anything. They're gone. So I said, well, I said, I hope wherever took him as wearing them and enjoying them. Now I'm shifting. I'm shift. I, I was in denial. Then there's. Pardoning and now there's a full-blown I've accepted this, and I hope they're enjoying them. And then I pause. And I said, oh, got an Email from Nate and Nate talk in my pin mile son. We gotta do an interview with Ken miles, and the door to Nate's office was closed, which sometimes is if he's on a business, call or something of that nature, and I said, Matt, let's talk to Nate about Ken mile son, and I opened Nate's office door and I walked into his office, and Matt, the Andrews behind me, and I said, oh, where's Nate.

"Little thing that would make them happy. So I got my boyfriend and my dad, these gifts putting on I had them. Simpson is the little boy and my boyfriend and one and made them into t shirts and my dad and his kids. I found a found it online and you send them a picture. And they Simpson is you have any requests like my boyfriend's from Minnesota. And so we're all little twins shirts little twin city shirts. My dad's big Kansas City guy, and they were so happy with their gifts, and they just thought you don't always have to. You don't have to go French laundry to make people feel love, Brian, this was, this was a fun, little gift that they both really liked, and we can put that up so people can see it if they want. Yeah. Super thoughtful. All right. Let's see. We got the news coming up here. I had a interesting conversation, I went to the Shelby museum and I was looking at all the cars and I'm just finishing the Shelby dock and that Shelby museums and boulder. And one of the cars they had there was. The Ken miles car the car that he got jobbed out for the win Lama before he died, and Christian Bale's playing him and all that kind of stuff. And they have that car. They're very interesting to see the in the flesh. But the curator of the museum was telling me a story, which I'd never heard before, which I found small interested very looks like a micro machine. Well, the car, the Ford GT forty was called the GT forty because it was forty inches high, and that was too low lower than any car ever made at the time. But that's why it was so, so low and Bill, the guy who owned the runs a museum was telling me about that, Ken miles car, and then Ken miles is the subject of that Ford V Ferrari movie, and he, then he got jobbed out of his trifecta. He was going to be the only guy to win. See. Bring Daytona on LeMond then they told him to slow down at the end of the picture for the picture, and he didn't like it. And he was kind of a rebel. He didn't like the man and anyway, the guy Bill who runs the place said, oh, there's a picture. We're going to find it. We'll get it from Bill share it with you. It's point. But as they want to cross the finish line, you can see from the back. It's a very rare picture from behind in color that can miles, actually his brake lights were lit up as going across the finish line. So he can tell us on purpose. He was told the slowdown he didn't like it. They wanted to one two three finish. He wasn't down with that he was just winning the rates and wanted to win the race. And so little probably show protests actually breaked going across the line, so they wouldn't get that one two three across finish. And then later got screwed out the victory and then later or not later, six weeks. So, but there was. His car from that race and feel like you were literally like that was living history you were in the room with you. It was interesting, when, you know about those guys and Pete Brock and all those guys in the cars, they build. And he, he went fired him up. He fired up Pete Brock's Daytona. He stuff up inside the museum what they weren't any windows, open fired. I mean, max PANA that shit was loud was not, not it sounded healthy cool, and everybody. Everybody in the museum doesn't usually here that they're all plotting. They're cheering when I started up. Yeah he just fired it up. It was very interesting stuff, and we'll have the videos coming soon forgive me for not knowing this out the top of my head. But is that why are colors are what they are because of the same colors? Oh, you're looking at the Gulf livery. Yeah. The Gulf orange in this warehouses paying a light blue and orange because that is the Gulf livery that people that was on a lot of the race. Cars Gulf the oil company. Zone. A lot of the race cars, probably more iconic to the Gulf Porsche nine one seven. But anyway. All right. So that was kind of fun..

"O'Reilly WalMart. I mean wherever you, wherever you get any as if are really anything. Amazon J B weld world's strongest bond. All right. So excited the trailer finally dropped for Ford versus Ferrari. Yeah. We've been waiting on this thing for while as predicted it's kind of the Christian bale story or Christian bale portrays Ken mine, the end miles story with Christian bale as can miles. They, he looks like him naturally. Yeah. Yeah. You kinda does. And it's it's going to be. I I it's going to be great. They get like a great team behind, like we said bail, and Matt Damon, James Mangold. He did such a great job on Logan. I love Logan. I thought that was I thought he did a great job on three ten to Yuma, which is another one of his films. So it Shelby and it's Ken miles, and so far, it looks like the story of Shelby and Ken miles, and Ken miles, and his son, but wife, did you dig into it at all the, like who's playing some of the Ferrari, people is there an Enzo like at one point that was talk of, of an Enzo movie or, or talk of like Robert deniro playing Enzo, maybe in this film, or a different film. And, and we keep talking about David and bail because they're in the trailer and I realized I don't know who's who's playing the Ferrari role. Well, I was looking down the I'm db page, and it's sort of in order of importance appearance. You know most. Screen time. I normally so Christian bale, Ken miles, I, I think Matt Damon Carroll Shelby second. I think third is like his wife, or his son, I think, is wife can miles wife, and then there's like Lee Iacocca. Yeah, there's a bunch of guys that are in our, you'll see them in the twenty four hour war, you know, like, like Shelby will bring up names like Dan Johnson said, come come down to headquarters, and I'll show you whatever, what are these names, and you'll see those names in this doc and, or in this feature film, when you get debt you gotta go down a little ways to get some Ferrara guy. Yeah. Down there Ferrari himself. I think you gotta you gotta truck down, like nine or ten names to get too far which says to me he's in it, but this isn't his story. Yeah. And then the Ferrari the Ford V Ferrari portion of it is this on? Innis like Ferrari is out there and they've already been dominating without having to sort of reflect on one particular person, they can just build it up as for our in general. Yeah. Do I am. Db Amax, Pat. And you'll see that I think for is down the list a little bit. There are other players, and there is a guilt guys like Don Beebe or something like that. Don BB was a wide receiver for buffalo BB. It is their sound talian. There's a fri- I think there's a BB guy that Leo now not Leo baby. I think there's a there's like a done fry. Oh, maybe there's lealbm. It's like Don Frye, Leo. Bb. Yeah. We'll figure it out. I think Don frying, Leo, BB, we're names like that. Or what they are what they put up there. And so for Ari. Right. But Charlie Acapulco who's the mechanic for Ken miles is right under that. So we interviewed him. He's in our doc. He's young ish. I mean, he must've been when he was the mechanic, or on the crew for Ken miles, he must have been nineteen and a half. Yeah. Because he seems like he's sixty three now. Yeah. Not an old guy. Right. And he came to our shop, Charlie do. And we interviewed him so sorry start at the time. We'll sort of take take take a look. So it's ten miles, Ken miles wife? It's Shelby Lee Iacocca film, burnt all he's great. Phil Remington is the mechanic. He's mechanic, you're right, Leo BB. Oh, Josh Lucas places plan. Live. Right. So Peter miles, the son, Henry Ford, the second. There's so you don't realize not a lot of Ferrari in here until you get down the thing..

"Ferrari releases. No, meme, November fifteenth later this year starring Christian bale Matt Damon believe it's based on a book and pretty highly anticipated I was curious what the reaction would be. Like we tweeted, the trailer reaction was huge automobile magnets. Henry Ford, and Lee is it coca I KoKo, yet dispatch a team of engineers and designers to build a car to race against Ferrari at the nineteen sixty six lemons, I guess, say it 'cause you bail LeMond is that makes more sense Christian bale as Ken miles, Matt Damon has Carroll Shelby. They're in it. They're the two big stars that took got people very excited on Twitter yesterday, and on Instagram like shit Damon bail on excited. James Mangold is directing. It's really just overall. This is first movie since Logan, by the way, overall just toward a force of people things you wanna see with this movie. It's like one of the first FOX things at Disney's releasing, well, actually like second or third because I've tarp FINA comes out this week, but very excited. I've other trailer was great got pretty I've for this one. This is the list of things. I'm excited for later this year. It looked anymore bettas of an old guy named in Carroll Shelby. No, that's that's up there. Yeah. Yeah. I thought great. I love Christian bale and his whatever accent. He wants to put on does, you know, he's from Britain. Well. Anyway, carry on. Yeah. I thought cool, I you know, I like cars. I'm not huge in a motor sports, but I you know, it'll be nice to seems like all these. To. I wanna call them period. Pieces like period type racing movies had have ended up in very good. Whether it's can we just talked about it. Rush Russia on race compete Anneke louder. Yeah. Nikki Lauda just passed away. I mean that that was really good. And this, this looks like that. And then was there, another one was at the cinema movie. I can't remember if that was a documentary or not, I seem to end up enjoying them.

"And that's where can mile Scott job because he was well in the lead and ended up losing by seventeen feet because his car started further back or further up in the grid. Either. Way Ken miles was dead testing at riverside, seven weeks later and Bruce McLaren with dead within a year. So it's a haunted car. Joey get our. I don't know about all that. I don't know what you're. Sign onto and the blood Bank. His car was number two in yours is number twenty two which is twice. Better. Daughter in the car. Twenty two I get the heritage at school. But it's also by my teammate brackets house gets his number. That's I can't drive a car around a teammates number on it. So they gave me a VIN number twenty two with the twenty two on the side on the inside. And also it made it pretty special is a it's an amazing car. I don't think it's haunted. All right. It's a relief crew. I'm just saying get near. To look at it. What else do you have in your garage? Man. I I'm guessing random kind of unique things that that I ever around. But yeah. One of my my favorite cars, I have an old model, and that is I feel like I'm going to hundred twenty one twenty in it. And and you know, how those are your pedals working different than a streetcar normally. And then you Donald I'm steering wheel. It's a challenging of drive kind of a fun piece. But I got a water. Have you heard of a water car? Car JAMES BOND, it it's like the modern day version of the infra car. Forty five mile an hour in the water that gets everybody's attention this Larrea. So that's a good way to be traffic. I it's cut through the LA. Literally can just drive into a river drive drive into a lake. No, I, you know, the the it's interesting because I talked to people I guess everyone always wants to know how fast you're going. Right. It seems like the lay person goes how fast you go in that race. Right. And I we tell people will of your fly commercially. You're going five hundred and fifty miles an hour, and you have a drink in your hand. And you're watching Paul block to double the restaurant. You don't have the sense of speed. Even though you're going five hundred fifty miles an hour. And like if you're at Fontana, what is your top speed at fun Tanna? About two hundred twelve fifteen is kind of jacket Bishen so your booking, and then you I really get used to it. You know, you got a little bit more comfortable. But when things go wrong, that's when you realize you're going really fast because you can't stop. That's usually when you notice how much carrion what is the what is the fastest track on the circuit?.

"For this Abbas show Ralph Zillow and Michael McGowan good. The CEO thanks for coming in again, wral or pleasure. Thank you ghost my thirty years as an FBI undercover agents available now as we speak. And if you want to bookmark us and click through. Amazon at all just helps. And of course, the audio by Mike Dawson over there, a wonderful job. The the rights of the book were bought by sly Stallone. This. That guy never stops. He never. He's doing Rambo five. Now he's literally doing creed and Rambo, and. The expendable. I think as it gets closer as he gets closer to the grave, he's actually speeding up like there's now less time for him to service fifteen franchises. How does that work? Where sly comes around the way that works? Was he expressed an interest in doing a true story. Not a rocky, not a Rambo. He was interested in story of my thirty years after going through the book and we got together and after a few months, we worked out a package and often running. Does somebody from his camp initially reach out to you, or does he reach out to you? Or how does that? How does that work? The way it worked out was his group contacted my representatives, and that was I believe, in March of this year, and it took about six months to work it out, but he expressed interest somehow he had found out about it. Do you think he'd like to play your part. He's mentioned that he would eat like to play the older part God, damn. So there's a story central to the book, which is that a lot of filmmakers of expressed an interest that interested in and it's when in ninety four, I think it was Mike sees two hundred million dollars of heroin from Pakistan, and while that was in the f. b. i. evidence vaulted disappeared. And Mike was blamed with stealing it and had to kind of prove his own innocence and it was it's a great story. So the story. So it's interesting in that. You can't. It's hard to take a thirty year career and build the ninety seven minute movie around it. You have to pick apart the, I don't like to talk about myself, but come on. You know what the here for? Well, it's, it's I made a movie about Ford versus for Ari which is a big big companies and over years and years and years, and they're now making a movie about it. I'm not getting any money or any praise for doing it. And Matt, Damon is playing Carroll Shelby, and I think it was bail is playing. No, no, no, we'll tell that, oh, the, we'll figure it out team. I assume any names in my head max, a paddle righted on there. He's playing. Ken miles. Well, here's the point. You don't know Ken miles is he's a race. Car driver tragically died in Bubba, blah. So it says to me that they're making a movie, but they're doing it about the Ken mile story, the smaller story within the story, if he's going to play Shelby and he's gonna play Ken miles, then that's what stories about could be Ford versus far in this big global kind of thing. And that part of your story where all those millions of dollars of drugs were putting an evidence room and you were accused of stealing. It is very interesting part of your journey. That's what drew attention. That story has seemed to resonate with a lot of people who've looked at this. They couldn't understand how you spend two years. Recovering, that amount of dope, and then you'd turn around like a common thief and steal it well, so that was your bossed, right? This and the number again or the amount, the weight, the kilos. It was forty, five kilos of heroin valued at one hundred eighty million dollars, and we did not pay a penny for it is that is that one hundred pounds of Kahlo. It's just under one hundred forty five times two point to whatever that comes out. Right? So it's right so about one hundred got one hundred pounds of of kilo have Conard can't hundred pounds of heroin..

Don't he Jones the bat wimbush keeps it himself on the left side across the forty five. And fifty lowers is headed gets out to the forty seven yard line patient running picks up nine yards. Love seeing a quarterback designed run right there. Liam Aiken Burke polling also, Alex bars. Pulling and granted wimbush finding his Lyman getting up field. He's the best player on offense. Keep the ball in his hands to start the drive from the shotgun. Now in second down one from his own forty-seven in motion. Boy action to Jones rolling out to his right being chased. We're Bush back across his body. Catch coming back for miles boykin at the thirty yard line. I downloaded seventeen wimbush rolling to his right hot pursuit. Jalen thomas?
