"Ken show. John kobylt Ken chiampou KFI, AM, six forty coming up after three o'clock in a story that is many months too late. The times over the weekend. Profile the fact that the gas tax money that horrendous tax increase years ago that we tried to repeal last November with prompt six a good sizable amount of it will be used on road diets, and they were getting people's reactions. I don't think that's right. My gas tax money is going to take away road lanes. This is not right now. You caught up thanks. Yeah. Yeah. We told you it was going to be used for that. May be the arguments about safety and all that crap. It was supposed to be only used to repair roads roads for cars until they sold it in every commercial they ran to be six and actually the headline in that using California gas tax to reduce traffic lanes question, Mark, not how it should be spent some say, some say. Some say I guess. Some they found one person. KFI recall. Correct, total lie a total rip off. It's been going on from the day they passed the tax. And they made it clear that, that was going to be the use that, that was the use of the tax that Garcetti ram through measuring them. It's all been used for ROY. Gridlock and said this is going to change everything for bike lanes. Some say stupid newspaper LA times is stupid, newspaper villa bigger chunk. Goes from mass transit, which nobody's using goes for road. Diets road diets, and, and the vagrant the rolling vagrant motels. We'll talk about all this after three o'clock, some say when it was looking for stories about same Clementi. What was going on north beach, which move in the move in the vagrants on Friday? What popped up on the Orange County? Register website was a beauty video homeless man. Safe stranded, baby shark near Puckett or San Clemente surf spot. I'm like, oh, God. Here we go. Oh, yeah. Right. That gets a media coverage say there's a good side to the vagrants. But when you read the story in actually has a slightly different twist. It's about a guy by the name, of course in Greer. He's the one that took the video, I took a photo of the guys tent when you look at the picture, it's a beautiful view of the ocean. He's popped it up on a sidewalk where there's actually a public bench. So, you know, you're not going to go there and sit on that bench. But anyway, I think John picture in front of you yet, but are the notices to move is posted on the back of one of the cement benches. But this guy's tent is in the middle. And apparently Carson Greer is the guy that apparently was there, I guess he's a surfer or something. And he said he's noticed is homeless. Guy's parked on the walkway with a view of the peer for some time. And then he saw the other day, I guess this Sunday may twenty six and he noticed him at the same spot for about a month. He's not heckling anybody. But then he noticed that the guy apparently was running up and back and forth between the sand and the surf and it looked like he was twenty to do something. So, I guess, Kyle, of course, kind of closer look. And he was saving the baby shark. He sprang into action. Apparently, I guess the baby shark got got beached. And apparently he tried to. He said here he tried to. I. He took off his shoes. Stood over the shark and then trying to figure out what to do he grabbed a nearby plastic chair and tried to push the shark to where the waves could wash it back. That didn't work. So we granted by the tail and then he's just pushed it back into the water. Well, great job now felt up your tent and well they'll get go. Get drug treatment go get a job. This guy. Carson career went to talk to the vagrant whose name is Kyle. And he said, that's not the first time I save something I pull I helped out a large Stingray. That was on the shore with a hook in its mouth. And when I was patting, the sting Stingray to stimulated to start moving a bunch of babies started popping out. That's quite a story, how baby stingrays came either that or he was smoking some mushrooms. But when babies coming out of the rhetoric could be when asked why he was staying on the walkway despite the designated camping area setup Friday for homeless on the north end of town. He said he was testing them out to see how long he could stay well by ten AM tent was gone. He was nowhere to be found that they move this onto, and even Greer. The guy that made the video said, I know this guy's got a good head on his shoulder, but he should not be camping here testing the system. In knows what he's doing, and that's annoying. I don't want to hear any sob stories. I don't want to hear a any good good stories. You don't get to you don't get to live in tents in public areas, especially areas like the beach in the park, when you look at that picture of that says it all it's a public, it's public benches. Overlooking, the ocean tonight's view up the hill, there, nobody should be able to plop a tent right in front of it and live there, and what kind of insanity overtook us and the most heartening thing is that a day after they fumigated, the place, yet families using the beach families using the parks. Again, people parents with strollers wandering around, that's their park. That's their beach. That that's their land. It doesn't belong to these stinking. It doesn't just like, the, the park along the riverbed that, that was cleared out noticed two major areas cleared out because because the politicians did their jobs, simply did their jobs. And we shouldn't have a. Parade here standing ovation this is what they were hired to do. This is what they're paid to do. This is why they were elected when you when you get some public nuisance problem, you enforce the laws and empower the police and get everybody out of there now it could stop, stop hiding behind the skirts of some wacky judges, whose decisions are, are not what politicians claim. These decisions are anyway. Now, a completely different story about a beach to talk about. We go further on down the coast to San Diego County to imperial beach were, apparently they had to close significant portion of it, because one hundred ten million gallons of it's described as toxic stormwater have flowed north from Mexico into the waters off the California coast. This is not the first time we've talked about this before this happens constantly it happens. All it's Tijuana sewage. Mexico's Tijuana river and because they do not have inadequate sewage system there and have not for a long time every time the conditions are right. The poop flows north, and how we are getting battered by the third world in a way that we haven't seen in our lifetime -solutely. They say this is a sewage attitude. One really, they can't build a sewage system with all the money. Or captured or diverted. Yeah. That's we put up with it. We put up with it here. The jackass is the holes in LA city council in the state legislature. They're chasing us around for plastic straws, right? But Mexico, one hundred and ten million gallons of raw sewage. Nobody says the peop- not hundred ten billion gallons, and that stuff's going to flow out into the ocean nothing. These San Diego County department of environmental health had to issue an order over the holiday weekend. That was expanding the closure, it's been in place for months for parts of imperial beach. And imagine that one of the biggest summer the holiday weekend, people go down there, and, oh, the sewage flow because we cannot get Mexico to adequately. Take care of the sewage and the Tijuana river. Which, by the way, if you don't remember this story is some of the problem is it's just dumped into the Tijuana river. It's like a notice flows right in there. Nobody in the corrupt Mexican government cares. Nobody in the car. US government cares. So they just do one hundred ten million gallons of sewage. Oh. You don't hear any environmental groups complain. This is one thing. I noticed environmental groups never criticize any sewage pollution garbage that comes from Mexico. It's the same way they never criticize any sewage pollution or garbage that comes from vagrants, you have all these protected classes, the last night, I went to Dodger Stadium. Okay. Twice twice. I ordered a soda went to the sea and realize, oh, they didn't give me a straw twice at to what back up the stairs to go get strong. Then the straws Dodger Stadium are the flimsiest pieces of crap that they crumble in your mouth. They crumble in the middle. We're, we're Benz. At what are they made of paper, hides, something less than paper, probably recycled, tissue, tissue or something? Yeah. A complete waste of time. And I'm sitting there, take two trips back and forth, just to get the damn straws because you have to ask for the straws they don't leave Matt anymore. And think what a pain in the ass this is. And then when you finally get the straw, the thing, practically dissolves you take three sips, and you feel the paper dissolving in your mouth, and I'm thinking how the hell's straw Dodger Stadium going to end up a turtles does. Anyway. How's that going to happen? God, just this world. When we come back if you probably heard by now there have been tornados hitting parts of the midwest. Severely one place that got hit is, but this is a great story that tells you exactly what people's priorities are coming up next. John and Ken KFI and Debra marquess news relatives of two murdered springs. "John and Ken show. John kobylt and Ken chiampou KFI AM six forty about sixty miles north of Sacramento is a little town called paradise. Not. So they've been hit by obviously of another devastating fire their head when like ten years ago. This is the one that they called the campfire. We will get a report next hour from a reporter that's based in Sacramento. Several people have lost their lives in this fire. And it is wiped out many homes in that town was a major evacuation attempt. It blew through. This is the one that we mentioned earlier in the show, and I still can't fathom the statistic that it could move eighty football fields in a minute. Think about that. In a minute. So yeah, that's if you take eighty by three hundred feet, you get twenty four thousand feet is in a minute. Yeah. It's obviously wind asked between four and five miles. It can blow in a minute. That's in you know, in an open brush area. We'll see if our reporter does anything about that. And can talk about the devastation. We're also expecting. Although it hasn't been confirmed an update news conference some of the numbers. We're looking at for these fires, including the big one that's people in the area of Malibu and Calabasas. And this is one is called the Woosley fire with fourteen thousand acres burned thirty thousand homes threatened that could all change we get the update next hour for the better for the worse. We hope for the better as these winds should identity bit into the evening alone. There's reports it's going to pick up again early next week even Sunday. There could be another round of Santa Anna winds coming this way. And if you're a regular listener to the show, we don't have Debra Mark because she left to voluntarily evacuate her home. She was here till about one thirty. She came in and told me, I gotta go get out and apparently her neighbors contacted there. Instead, maybe want to come home. She left her dog behind. And there was nobody else in the house. So she had to go get the dog and. She's backed up her stuff, and it's going to get out of there. And it's funny. How many times you look over right now looking at women being interviewed and who's in the confronts, you the car with a look at that puppy that little dog just sitting there people get very worked up over their pets and very uncertain because pets unlike people don't know how to evacuate really talks face. Big Lou is disturbed through Twitter breathing. They're trying to get away. I think this is in Malibu yet says, yeah, they're trying to get away with four stopped dead and traffic. Oh is that what it is? No problem interviewing people in Malibu right now because everybody's locked in especially a PCA. Why is it always about traffic in southern California? When you're trying to escape a fire can't even run for your life. No. Well, that's, you know, something I always think about because I live closer to the water, and I'd like get there's little signs Sunanda. Evacuation would I'm like, holy crap. If that happens, we're all going to be stuck on the road watching the waves kill us. Yeah. Water out there really aren't evacuation routes because there's too many people there is not enough road and don't be complaining about that enough right diet people. Mike Baden was on PCH trying to close lanes today. Oh thought that. Thought you should walk. Yeah. That's right. Take your crap and your dog and walk. That's right. Scrap your dog to your bag take one of those bike share. Oh companies. Right. So stay with KFI news about all these fires and everything else. Going on reporters. Everywhere. I wonder how many vagrant started these fires. We had we don't have any word on origins. No, they tend to get to that later when they're dealing with trying to put these fires out. I so, but and again, we know that these fires are named for their origin pleats. So that's what they have to go Woosley, whatever that is. It's easy. It's a street or some sort of. I see. I don't know about Wolseley. I see Malibu burning. That's what they will do and do their forensic investigations if they can figure out exactly what started that el-agha Calabasas that looks like a lot of devastation Calabasas the other TV. It says Malibu. Guy that's been on that street in Calabasas. He's been reporting for channel five looks like some homes burned to the ground. Some and some did not as usual. It looks like some people have come back to this neighborhood in Calabasas. So we were talking about the other big story for people also in that western San Fernando Valley region that's Thousand Oaks the shooting at the border line bar and grill by twenty eight year old Ian long. You know, you mentioned this before but more specifically they talked to somebody in Todd Stratton. He was at the bar with two friends who died and said he's in disbelief because he's known Ian long for years. My friend killed my other friends, and I was there to see it all happen. I didn't think that he was a type of person that would do this. And I don't understand it because there's people are trying to come up with reasons why the thing is is that. It would have been some effort that some sort of revenge with people that he knew from going back to his high school days that he was angry with none of us though. I think the people he killed were too young. They were not anybody that was. Yeah. I mean, I mean some of this is speculative college on the part of his friends. I don't know if he killed anybody specifically that he knew no probably not because a lot of them were in there in early twenties. But nobody you the stuff people say, you don't know anybody who's committed a mass murder. None of us do. So you have no reference point. We all fake that it's supposed to be a Charles Manson type to do this. Right. I think that's what's locked in a lot of people's heads like some kind of crazy wild haired monster who carved the Nazi symbol, Ed. But it's not it's the guy you get a bad vibe front and over and over again, you hear the same description of of these people, and it's the kid in school who gave you the bad vibe, not crazy wild scary. It's just made you feel uncomfortable. You couldn't connect with him. Didn't seem warm and friendly, but seemed kind of cold and reserved at night. I wanted to touch on something gives you we had time right now to talk about it. But we do. Now, you mentioned before trying to get to these people. Now normally when you if you're listening to the show regularly. King co belt says they're like this guy back in April. He had that meltdown. Cain. There was a disturbance can call belt says put up a way. Yeah. You really can't do that. But you've got to change the laws, and then do that that's one universe now in the real world. Well, the real world you can change laws. Go you can do is try to get these people mental help and hope it works. Now. Actually, I disagree. They don't want it. And a lot of it doesn't work. I think there's enough people that wanted if you come to them the right way now with this guy. I have no idea what his relationship with his mother or anybody else in his life. Apparently, we're not good who's gonna always having a meltdown like every night. One guy said I one neighbor said, oh, I knew he was home. Because all I hear was screaming from the house and on any given day could've killed his mother and his mother's the one closest to he's living with and mom doesn't have a chance in help of convincing them to go get help. She's lucky she's alive every day. She's alive. Now, it was confirmed. The father died in one thousand nine hundred nine. Yeah. Well, very small kid now. I it it. It's a pattern of these guys didn't have dads for whatever reason. And a lot of these guys had moms who indulged them or put up with way too much nonsense. But the mothers are like that, you know, we're dealing with like some biology here, that's never gonna change mothers. Always indulge their kids almost always I was reading. I think one thing we're going to find out is that April police call and who evaluated him and who decided that we didn't need to put a hold on him and try to get him into some compel to help. And what the reasons were. Well, I think the value because that's not that long ago. I think the evaluators are crap because I think the whole system the whole ideology these people have is biased towards giving them a chance rehabilitating giving him help. Instead of let's take care of the danger. See I look at these people, and I say that's danger. Get it outta here. They look at it and say he's troubled. He just needs some therapy need someone to talk to you. And you hear that what the average guy in the street when they get interviewed like all he must have gone through a lot of trouble. It is so sad. Well, how how he must have been feeling. It's like you keep doing that. You're going to keep getting more. Instead of identifying changed on say, you know, what your trash your mom's house. How about a year in mental health clinic gets shot up with drugs every day. Aera lead the way you talk about that reminds me of it's not the same story. But remember that couple that was physically abusing eventually torturing and they killed their son. Anthony Avalos member that story. Yes. And in that case these were government workers that came social workers, and they sent the woman to parenting classes instead of this got that kid instead of identifying the danger, right? It was more like we can help we can they called it family restoration to trying to keep people all these social workers. Right. I'll give him the broad category of social workers. They're they're they're not there to take away dangerous and they don't take away dangerous. And that's why you have all these stories every one of these guys had a history, and they made it blatantly obvious. They had public violent outbursts with their family or otherwise they wrote unbelievably violent incendiary hateful things on. What do you want them to do by by by commercial a network television where they lay out who they're gonna kill? It's all of us want you. And I went away in prison. We don't but everybody else up. No, they can be rehabilitated give it a chance. They can't even even trickles down to like sober living homes valley put them right in Naples with people and they can reestablish their lives if they're around regular Rideout's. It's this weird. Like, no, don't do that weird myth people believe in. They won't accept that. Some people are damaged beyond repair. Okay. It's like a blown tire that shreds on the freeway. You're not gonna put the tire back together. Again, you gotta get a new tire. You gotta get that tire off the road. You're going to die. Same thing here that guy along with a blown tire, right? When we come back. We're going to get an opportunity to really the most important factor with all of these fires is what's going to happen with these winds? We'll be talking to Mark Thompson. John and Ken show, KFI and. Ever. Mark is evacuating and Tessa Barreiras.

"John and Ken show. John kobylt and Ken chiampou KFI AM six forty coming up after three o'clock you. If you thought the stories about long lines of the DMV were bad, a we gotta tell you what's coming to bring you an update on this whole thing with the licenses switching to the real idea act conformity from the federal government, and the numbers are mind boggling, they stole your tax money and never put it into the DMV. And now, they have a monster crisis that it's only gonna get worse and worse and worse everything you've heard over the past year is the tip of the iceberg. And in fact, two people Email today one actually like did the map. I'll explain coming up after the news at three o'clock. Well, it's all over. But the vote we learned this morning by account of fifty one to forty nine the United States. Senate said let's end the debate. Let's move forward. It's called the procedural vote for bread. Kevin on the US supreme court hours later the undecideds made. Their viewpoints clear, Maine's Susan Collins announcing she will vote for bread Kavanagh. My God, what did Cianci talk? I don't know. I took advantage JJ like today. Thank all. I could hear was me to this me too. That the metoo movement is real in the me this that well, then I said, oh, she's definitely in for cavenaugh because she's trying to make it very clear with this. Disclaimer that she really supports victims, except when these women have no evidence. With the exception of those people who are either lying or miss remembering. Or somehow a botched the story. There was no evidence against at Brad Kavanagh. And this was this was a disgrace and disgusting and foul and everybody in the Democratic Party whose connected to this. If there's any way to destroy their political careers for voting. Of course, we wanna we wouldn't want to falsely accuse them of felonies now. That that gang. Rape thing was was the was the worst. Where is that crazy lady? How could they sweat, Nikki, Nick? Doc them. They didn't lock her up at a rubber band things that one's gone and who are the freak reporters who reported on. That is if it was fact without checking it out. Yeah. All these people ought to be called out. There ought to be consequences for these people because everybody's doing like character nation smear jobs defamation. I don't remember which place broke that Julie sweat next story that was really chest. So scott. Well, yeah. What was the Michael avenue ATI, and he just got everyone to bite. You don't have to cover Michael avenue. Audie. Okay. He he's human feces. Really is. He's a porn lawyer. It looks like a porn lawyer. So what happened next or in the same timeframe? A small surprise. One Republican Senator is going to vote. No, one democrat Senator is going to vote. Yes. So unless we have a real real turnaround here the vote tomorrow will be the same fifty one to forty nine Lisa Murkowski. She is a Republican Senator from Alaska said, she believes Cavanaugh is a good, man. But not the right man for the supreme court what she's a coward to. She's not. He's not the right, man. Because what because you believe all these unsubstantiated stories somebody that shows as a great, man. Why is he not the right, man? I mean, he's he's on the appeals court Washington, which is considered the most important appeals. Can I heard he's got a great record there? Nobody's ever complained. And they looked at three hundred decisions that he was involved in three hundred that he's done over the last big track record. Got an unknown. I heard today that there were more pages of documents submitted regarding his life and career than all the other supreme court nominees in history combined. Two hundred years or supreme court nominees. You add up all the documents submitted over two hundred plus years. They don't add up to what was submitted on bread Cavuto. And we ended up with this garbage this filth. Unbelievable. Now, what we have for you should be rather amusing. And it shows you all they need or pacifier is in blankets, and the crib to cry in because the West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, a democrat also announced it was voting for Kavanagh's nomination. Probably a wise move because west Virginia's state that likes President Trump. It's a state of coal here. Listen in as mansion was speaking and here come the protesters..

"Catch show. John kobylt Ken chiampou KFI AM, six forty. Stefan Brecht cabin on. Yes. Julie sweat neck. These crazy stories of gang rapes. Oh, this is the Michael avenue client Nadia. Of course is the stormy Daniels porn actress lawyer. And he popped up a week or so ago with Julie sweat, Nick as his latest accuser. And this is a story. She told about going to these parties where women they spiked the punch and women were raped by a bunch of men. Taking turns sweat Nick had claimed the cavenaugh consistently engaged in excessive drinking inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature with women. And this was about him standing in line, the the gang rape lie. And she saw this for ten weeks. And she said it happened to her once, but she did not claim that Cavanaugh was a part of that particular group of gang, rapists. And NBC news has announced that they are not able to independently verify her claims, and now there are things that she's told us on camera that differ from her written statements last week. We knew this one was shaky to say the least where it's funny is. Now, the reporters have to be so PC because it's a woman making a sexual assault claim. Correspondent Kate snow after they air the interview she told an anchor, we're not discounting what she said in any way. We're just doing our reporting. There are a lot of people working on this by now, don't you think they've interviewed every possible person who could have been at these parties, and they found nobody to say they remember gang rapes lines of gang rapes spiked punch. Brad cavenaugh leading the charge by now you'd think what do you think other reporters in the world have been doing since last week? They've been trying to investigate all this stuff. And they're coming up dry. Crazy. She had claimed. She Clinton I'm trying to figure out this is a her new clamor old claim. She told snow. All right. This is must be Cavanaugh was very aggressive sloppy drunk very mean drunk. I saw him up two girls in pawn them touching on their private parts trying and shifting clothing. I saw him push girls against the walls. He'd pretend to stumble. And stumble into them pushed them into a wall and he groped him. But she says is no longer claiming that he spiked the punch. So that the boys could rape the girls sweat Nick refers to cavenaugh as an admitted blackout drunk and drug addict drug addicts he never admitted to being blackout drunk. He never did. I know he said he goes what she's telling this? I read a story on the show from NBC news. I read a story on this today where they looked exactly at his language he used and compared it to media claims that he admitted being a blackout drunk. He did no such thing. You know, admitted to sometimes drinking too much beer when he was in high school and college like just about I realized this is a bigger story. But I thought back before the metoo movement and a couple of stories that are more recent about these kinds of false sex assault accusations. Remember, the Duke lacrosse teams three. Yeah. And and then more recently, the Virginia campus rape right Rolling Stone reported that rain was Rolling Stone and the Rolling Stone reporter, they gave those stories space, but they weren't like you can't say that until woman saying that she's been sexually assaulted her. And both the case, then this metoo movement is kinda shifted everything that dynamic is now. Well, it's been too long too many women have their chance to make their case. And they're not believed. Now, you have to believe all of them. Does this is that this is what this is make-up time west we fought against because I know, but it's. You to figure it out when one side gets loud, you can get louder, and you could be very strict saying, I'm sorry. If you don't have any evidence, you're not going to automatically be believed. You will not you don't get to smear people just because you're more. Because because you're emotional we're not going to destroy somebody's career because you make claims it has to be based on evidence and facts. And just because one side is screaming louder doesn't mean you win. If you don't have the facts, you don't win if you don't have evidence. You don't win. You don't have corroboration. You don't win. You don't have witnesses. You don't win. I mean, there's got to be really aggressive pushback from everybody. I think most women would want their husbands or sons to go through this. I I'm certain of it. And and we all get nailed because there's a lot of crazy people in the world. Time that rewards the crazy today's crazy New York Times headline is Brad Kavanagh was questioned by police after a bar fight in one thousand nine hundred five as an undergraduate student at Yale. He was involved in some altercation at local bar. He was accused of throwing ice. Oh boy. When we come back. There's a lot more to talk about in this case. But we're we're way off rape. Wake. I now now now it's Dan. Well, everything has to be uncovered now. Now, I think about this, man. No, it doesn't have to be not what they're doing these reporters spending. Why do they printing story was in college? And he may have thrown ice buddy in a bar. Yeah. That lead to some sort of altercation. Why are they doing that? Because they wanna prove that he was out of control drunk. Yeah. Thirty three years jumped on. Yeah. Guys, college frat guys at the Arizona prosecutor who was hired by the Senate Judiciary committee Republicans to question. Christine blazey Ford has put out a report we'll talk about that and more coming up. John and Ken show KFI. Debra.

"Did you see people who were lit us up a little bit on social media? Yeah. You and I. He said. Gary and Shannon, weekdays at ten KFI. John and Ken show. John and Ken chiampou KFI AM six a little bit of Trump at the UN today. I mean, basically read from the teleprompter. But this was civilized Trump. Can I guess he went after Iran? You know, he made the case that he's been the greatest to help the plight of all the world issues, and they they chuckled this clip. He's talking about immigration. Let's see what's in it. The United States is also working with partners in Latin America to confront threats to sovereignty from uncontrolled migration tolerance for human struggling. And Yuban smuggling and trafficking. Is not humane. Horrible thing that's going on at levels that nobody has ever seen before. It's very very cruel. Illegal immigration funds criminal networks, ruthless gangs, and the flow of deadly drugs. Illegal immigration, exploits vulnerable, populations hurts hard working citizens and has produced a vicious cycle of crime violence and poverty. Only by upholding national borders, destroying criminal gangs. Can we break this cycle and establish a real foundation for prosperity? We recognize the right of every nation in this room to set its own immigration policy in accordance with its national interests, lock her up just as we ask other kinds needs to right to do the drug him, which we are doing when he has to go. Sedated participate in the new global compact on migration migration should not be governed by an international body. That's right on accountable to our own citizens. This is like a swipe at the European Union. The only long-term solution to the migration crisis. Those guys. Don't help my grades. But I met the their home the government of the use make. Their countries. Great again. So basically, you know, he's the anti on this one too. It's not there's not going to be global control of countries is not going to be. I mean listeners have loved the us this over the year. He's talk of it to the UN general assembly, by the way, but what is it agenda? Twenty one about the UN control you've seen that right? I have. Yeah. I still get emails from people when we about topics even if it's like homelessness. They still send us the UN agenda twenty one about control of the world for the United Nations one world government. Yeah, there there are plenty of people in the United Nations who believe in that philosophy. And they think that we see what the mistake is everybody thinks oh never happened. It doesn't happen in a day. It's not like they're going to send in troops and black helicopters. Remember that? Yes, that's right. But it happens incrementally over time where they they grew up just a little bit of territory a little bit of sovereignty and people go now don't make a big deal about it. It's just a little thing and the next year and the next year, and then twenty years go by it's like, wow, they're controlling a lot to believers believe there'd be no more war. No, more poverty. We'd have a one world without borders. We'd redistribute all the income equally. That'd be no fighting. I think it's perfect. I don't I don't think they believe that. I think they use that as an excuse. So they can have control and power. That they have a shield up that they can't be criticized like the condo board. Oh, we're trying to do. Good for you know, you're not you're trying to control me. And that's your cover story that you're trying to do. Good. All right. Tim Conway Jodi are is here to talk about his big show. Mark thompson. Not here. He's a visiting with his parents in Washington, d three nice. What a good son. Yeah. He's a good guy. Right. Goes back and hangs out with his dad his mom's a big liberal and his dad's a big Trump fan. And he always says his dad's the smartest guys ever met. I said well, and he's a Trump fan. "One. Replaces ten other kitchen, gadgets KFI. John and Ken show. John kobylt and Ken chiampou KFI AM six forty. It is it is. All right. Well, we continue with the vagrant watch yesterday. We talked a bit about what's coming next week, which is the grand opening one of these homeless encampments created by the city of LA. This is gonna be on November street downtown Los Angeles is the one with the trailers, and such and Dave's it's all part of Garcetti's bridge home program. It's a two and a half billion dollars for. A set of trailers that are going to house forty five people there sixty thousand homeless people on the streets sixty thousand and he spent two and a half million bucks on a place that'll house Forty-five temporarily. Yes is thirty men fifteen women for for thirty on an interim basis as opposed to move on. And supposedly now, I don't know if you saw one of the photos, did you see which one well, there's one Garcetti is talking to a gentleman and they're both seated next way Abed it looks like a homeless basket on the bed. That's exactly what it is. Is that? Yes, it's it's toiletry. A welcome. This is toiletries and other supplies. You. Right. Really is putting welcome baskets on the beds in these new shelter Angelinos like their yoga pants. Did. He make them themselves. I think so it looks like it's toiletries there little partitions. Just like you. Soap and mouthwash like breakfast in bed. Really is handing out. Well. Photo op carefully taken picture. All right. Let's get Chris ancarlo KFI news more on this big story here. How are you? I'm good. I did not take that picture guys. Did you see the basket? I did see the baskets. Yeah. So. Steal one and give it to us. Could you steal? I want a. Yeah. That's right. I I I've heard that he does need. So However, I can't commit a felony. Make sure smells good. I think these days it's only a misdemeanor, and they won't even prosecute. That's another story for another time guys. But yeah, no, I've been following this from the Geico from the moment that they said, hey, we're going to build these trailers down there because I cropped up at a council committee meeting way back in the in the wintertime, and I remember going to this meeting that was not and people are really paying attention to it. And suddenly finding myself surrounded by merchants were really upset over the fact that they were going to build these temporary trailers down near El Pueblo. And and so I started talking to the merchants that were at this meeting. And I said, you know, how do you guys feel about this, obviously, many of them were upset about it because they were fearful that it would change the complexion of Olvera street and El Pueblo, and and they were fearful that you know, they would lose out on money because maybe tourists would stop coming down. If there was a homeless transitional housing unit right next to where they do business. And so I decided, you know, I'm gonna follow this all the way through and I've been keeping track of these guys all the way through the process also in touch with. Jose weeds, ours office, also in touch with the mayor's office as they've been building this out. And now that it's open. What happened last night was pretty interesting in that they invited the merchants down for. I look at this. And you can tell just how important this is to the mayor and one of the merchants I talked to this guy Edward Flora's who's been one of the more outspoken against a against what's happening. He brings up a pretty good political point here resupplies to see the mayor there. No, no, this is actually his.

Though first, thing they? Ask. In fact you can't get to, the, other, questions, unless you answer this with. Which ethnic. Group do you identify of course racial, identity, yeah, racial identity meeting need to know Latino Asian, Caucasian African, American or other ethnicity I think I'm going, to, answer, with all the wrong answers Oh send him Unreliable and I think I think I'm going to become an eighty year dole. Up next hour we'll tell you all we know concerning obviously with relevance to the John and Ken show the story out of Iowa or a young woman who disappeared about a month ago and they found her body and then they announced the arrest and it is an illegal immigrant who has been charged. With her murder name is Molly tits and his name. Is Kristen Rivera we'll give you a little more on the story in the. Five o'clock hour we're gonna go to the Gavin Newsom not for governor's. Desk to wow the El Segundo times took a shot at Gavin Newsom and his flip flopping over the years as mayor and Lieutenant governor on. A, whole bunch Of issues including the. Brown. Dog oh it's been back and forth in favor of the high, speed rail fiasco, that we. Have here in California so all that's coming, up, in, the, big, five o'clock hour is a. Big day in the national political news for verdicts and well and and and in plea deals and then this indictment which is fresh off the news today Duncan Hunter the congressman from San Diego he and his wife have been indicted for fraudulent campaign finance records are claiming that he and his wife used. About two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in campaign money. For their own personal expenses including tuition trips to Italy in Hawaii groceries and. Dental work this story has been around for years I remember that they. Were looking into the is under investigation for a while between two thousand nine twenty sixteen so yeah and this is Duncan Hunter whose dad same Name sir Congressional district for for many, years Yes And I thought it was the same. A different middle name When you're not. A junior side the same first. Name is my. Father but I have. A different middle, name so I am not a junior Don't. Think no I. Mean with his dad being an office forever you don't know that you can't spend campaign money on personal expenses I that's basic it says here they're thinking that. They went after that money like it, was a personal Bank account between two. Thousand nine and two thousand sixteen They think that the hunters did not otherwise, have money to pay for some of these purchases. It's forty eight page, in cheese. This. Began yeah two years ago because the San Diego, union Tribune started looking into it in the Federal Election Commission remember. I, remember the. Story it says. That the couples being questioned about expenses for video games oral surgery and a garage door for their home it does get silly The first thing the first thing. If, you run, for office and. "Junior show weeknights at six on KFI John and Ken show out and Ken chiampou KFI AM. Six forty coming up after four thirty we're gonna have JoAnne row on She's been on before to, talk about all the vagrants running a buck Kevin San Pedro and they're having, a rally on September eighth because the councilman there Joe Busca. Ainhoa wants to. Put one of those vagrant shelters. In San Pedro and she. Says it's close to homes and schools and businesses the vagrant problem it's exploded over the last year crime is through the roof, will we're going to talk to her about the pushback from the neighborhoods in San Pedro coming. Up in just a few minutes Well there's there's a possible summit Debra Between. Cannon I and Josh, Neumann no. Way I didn't believe it either But periodically, we reach out to him we have. For over a year now And in fact, the day, after the, day after he was bounced at office in the recall in Newman of course is the. State Senator that was recalled, in Orange County for his gas car. Tax vote and we wrote to him Do, you have anything you want to tell John and Ken and the KFI radio audience. Because we always, invite him always invited him to come on and explain why he voted to, tax people, the way, he has and he said no but I will look forward to her perhaps being on. The show one day soon So, we told you you have an open invite let me know when when you're willing And, then we got a message from him today he's if you remember a few days ago we found. Out that he was, putting out invitations to raise. Money to get elected in twenty twenty That's when. The seat is open again he wants you want. His side but the first thing he has to do is he's got a. Raise a quarter of a million dollars to pay back the money, he took at of his twenty, twenty reelection campaign she, he, took out, a quarter million and. It trying to fight the recall and if he. Had called Kenan I up right and asked, us our advice I would've told him I would have said look you're cooked don't waste your money And don't waste everybody else's money right you're. Gonna get I knew he was going to get taken that office and he. Lost by almost twenty points but you didn't have he didn't have, to spend the extra two hundred, fifty thousand could ask, me, and I. Said there's no chance Because we, know these things What could he say to you to change your? Mind on how you feel What he could what? He could do is stopped voting for tax increases why. Does he want isn't he. Should have submitted. A Bill offering a tax rebate that's what I was thinking maybe, he will, he should have. Submitted a Bill to repeal the tax and said I'm sorry this was wrong I should. Not have taken eight hundred dollars. From your, family's I shouldn't have done it I want to. Repeal the tax in fact what he should do is join the repeal campaign. That's what he ought to do that he wants you, guys on his side now if. He joins, the repeal, the gas tax campaign maybe he would get elected again so anyway this morning We got. A text, from him Was, to, Ray Lopez our. Producer hey Ray I wanna take you. Can and John out to lunch Let, me, know, if and when. We might be able to do that And Ray wrote back saying well your cans out right now but. He's going to be back next week and we'll get back to you Right so I. Don't know if he wanted this off the. Record he never said so but we're we're, going to be open with everything to. The audience I, don't, want don't want something to leak a Johnny Kennedy's secret meeting with Josh, Newman and the people start wondering what's. Up so I said well we'll happy to meet. With him, happy to have him on the air but not making any promises about anything. And we certainly aren't going to have secret meetings and I I think he got the, appropriate punishment for betraying. His for betraying. His constituents now if he if he wants. To run again on the gas car tax twenty twenty. It's a free country go right ahead but it seems to, me that we, could we could allow one mistake since, he was a rookie and if he runs on repealing the gas car tax rejoins the, repeal, movement this proposition that's on, the ballot propsects then that would put them in a different light are more Coming up we're going to. Talk with, JoAnne rally o- about San Pedro fighting back against the idiots in LA city. Government who want open up these vagrant shelters in neighborhoods where the normal people live John, and Ken KFI Debra. Mark has news. The fire in the Cleveland national forest has. Been slowly growing throughout the day Yossi Wilkins with the. US four services the most intense part of the fire is, along the southern, edge of the.

"Ten, on KFI More. Than John and Ken show John kobylt and Ken chiampou KFI AM six forty Well it's the LA county board of supervisors turned to try to raise your taxes they did vote four to one This. Afternoon to put before, the? Voters of. LA county these safe clean water program that's right safe comma clean water program got all the buzzwords right. That's right at somebody gets this means, you're against safety, and clean, water when you when you, look at. It right if. You, don't read the fine print you. Might be of course I'm, in favor of safe clean water I would vote yes on the only one they voted. No apparently was Catherine Barger but. The, other supervisors and I'm looking at the press release from John's favorite Janice Han. John's other favorite Mark Ridley Thomas Basically saying it's up to. The voters those are crazy people That's yeah and then you got to Hilda. Solis and Schiller fuel The, board now. While aboard is really off the wall left-wing progressive yeah It's all crazy people except for this Catherine Barger. Yeah she replaced Antonovich I think that's the, only section. Of the county that's not. Insane. When it comes to voting holy mackerel what a. Crowd, their faces he's so it's going to raise your property tax Bill well it says here the. Median annual tax would be about eighty three dollars about one hundred bucks and the idea is to prevent storm. Water to. Capture, it using permeable materials instead of concrete, to build. Sidewalks This, particular tax that they're proposing though Would affect property, not just your property but include driveways anything. Where rainwater can gather and run off why don't what they want to stop is from, it from going. Out to the sea the storm water we've heard about this before So that's a tax it's on driveways patios parking lots, buildings any surface that, fails to allow, rainwater to percolate into the ground okay you. See the difference so your backyard wouldn't be considered that your driveway would you know whatever, other property and. Apparently this affects businesses too This this is where You know they spent a billion and a half plus on illegal alien healthcare every. Year in the county and this is where you get hurt by all that money spent on a legal immigrant healthcare is when it comes time to come up with a new. Storm water drainage system all we. Don't have any money you gotta pay other taxes thing about that billion and. A, half over there That's not for you you're an American. Citizen you, don't get that money you give us new money now you don't want humanitarian y you don't. Want polluted stormwater to go into the ocean okay so you give us more money now let's go back to work make more money give it to us we'll decide who gets. The money okay legal immigrants they. Get lots and lots of money you will give a little bit of money Just. So you, don't have see don't swim in dirty fecal. Water when you, go to the ocean so it's. Specifically is a special. Two and a half. Cent parcel tax property tax. On each square foot of. Impermeable land that stormwater cannot filter. Through as I mentioned before such as a concrete sidewalk. So. For instance John you have like a, lawn don't you I do. Have a lawn. Yeah so for your. Property they wouldn't include that I. Mean, how does. This work is kind of tricky I. Know I I don't really understand all this You have a driveway though right Yeah it's a tax. On driveways patios parking lots buildings any surface that allows. Rainwater Not allow rainwater to percolate into the ground right okay so you're in other words it could end. Up running off into the sewers and out to the see. Any grass and dirt the water sinks into the grass in dirt and goes underground everything else runs into the. Street? Runs downhill eventually ends up in stormwater, drains that funnel out at the ocean right and because when you have storm water it can pick up all. The filth that's, in the streets and they're worried. That all that's going off into so you. Know, it's the businesses supermarkets gas, stations. You have, lots, of asphalt lots of cement, yeah that's think of. Those places right and then The more. You. Know it's What's funny is you know they tell you to, get?.

"Defendant pizza it's still an assault bill and mornings from six to ten kfi john and ken show john kobylt and ken chiampou kfi am six forty so the latest news is that trump is signing executive order that's going to end families being separated the kids will stay with their parents parents of course are in jail which is not a solution because the children are not allowed to be with their parents for more than twenty days in jail that's the origin of this problem going to clear things up in twenty days whether they get deported or they get to stay or whatever i mean trump made the point at the end of that speech to say look goethe will lawful port of entry and claim asylum that way you won't be arrested they will get into this quagmire trump also says zerotolerance continues well can't both you can't have the kids stay with their parents indefinitely in jail and have zero tolerance it's not it's not legally possible and he's going to get sued over this second quarter but it's a stopgap for a few minutes anyway until maybe congress does something just to stop wailing the whaling by all the celebrity activists enough already you know what we got a nation of babies ignorant babies at that they don't know the law they simply don't don't anything they're hypocrites they're liars and it pervades everything now it's hollywood hollywood celebrities are jumping in hollywood producers it's like you're just flat out wrong you're wrong here's the law it's illegal to jump jump the border it is you get arrested for that you go to jail that's bawar that's what you do let's let's enforce the law now under obama in previous presidents family showed up they were just referred for civil deportation proceedings there was no separation and basically that's a court date to come back for well it's a lot of them didn't what they did though have is they ended up with a lot of unaccompanied children back in the obama days and the daily caller has published thirty two photos from the two thousand fourteen era when obama was president and these unaccompanied children were put into these detention centers looks a lot like the stuff we're seeing now it's exactly in fact there's photos and these are all from writers getty images i'm going to assume for the moment that they're real and they're in context if we find out otherwise we'll tell you but they show children handcuffed together they show children stacked up on blankets in in in bathrooms you you can see the urinal or tables in the background some of the children are wrapped in foil sleeping bags the wrapped in red cross cross blankets and there's just dozens and dozens of them they're laid up against each other like sardines and they're in they're in chain link fence rooms everyone's calling them cages but there that that's what you have to do i don't know how you not fencing the kids you can't have more wandering around there little kids this was because of dhaka twenty twelve was the first daca program obama renewed a few years later there was a surge at the border of either unaccompanied minors or adults with minors all trying to get into the us take advantage of dhaka they didn't understand they thought if you go to the us with the child that's the message got down to their countries then you're okay you'll get an amnesty from obama go smugglers told them that everyone was all good for the surge at the border wasn't clear to me though from these pictures these these are all accompanied miners because the daily caller story says that in some cases obama did separate families i would think you would have to.

"John and ken show john kobylt and ken chiampou kfi am six forty he's probably not the most scintillating read but we were just talking to lisa snow with the reason foundation because the reason we brought this up on the show it's the la unified school district's fiscal problems it's indicative of what's wrong with a lot of government agencies here you have a school district with terrible financial conditions longterm debt like we know from all government agencies based on pensions and healthcare costs they're losing enrollment some of it to charter schools some as our guest said people move into other counties leaving the public school system of la county nellie unified but continuing to hire more administrators fifty seven percent of the budget within five years is going to be eaten up by pension healthcare and special ed programs any fifty seven percent anything i run away anytime there's a tax proposed to benefit the schools were always giving sob stories about the children and invariably people fall for it you get emotionally manipulated and i gotta say mother's really get manipulated by the stuff and if there's a vote for the schools they're always there they vote in much numbers than men the truth is though in la families have been moving out by the thousands because the school system is so bad it's so bad it's what i was talking about yesterday i hardly know anybody who sends their kids the la school system i don't think i know anyone who sends them all the way through from kindergarten to high school no because it's terrible and if you don't unfortunately now it's dominated by people that don't have a choice and if you don't have money for a private school because some of those are sailing expensive they go to religious schools catholic schools there there's charter schools but just your regular mainstream public school in la people don't go i mean i mean it's a lot of immigrants who go to the la schools now a lot of middle class people have moved out because i remember said this years ago it's like well why would you send your kid into a class where maybe a lot of the kids weren't even speaking english so most oughta parents said no i'm not going to send my kids there they fled by the way as you heard our guests say.

Gov. Jerry Brown appears at national press club

"Johny ken show john kobylt and ken chiampou it's kfi am six forty visiting the doddering jerry brown that he appeared today at the national press club in washington dc well we should play this war clip because he made headlines for this now i guess in the end he's asking if the trump administration's at war with california but when you think about it california's one of the past the sanctuary state pill who started this war it goes beyond that because apparently everybody in sacramento from jerry brown to havi all the legislature and kevin danielle is fighting trump on several fronts including illegal immigration and climate change and all that stuff so let's listen to this clip is this a war on california's this a war on the engine of our american economy and innovation go to silicon valley look at these people say these are people who come from somewhere else their skin and their whole presentation these chinese these are indian what these are little eastern people persians iraqis business america we didn't get built on just the indigenous people far from it we destroy the indigenous he's making a pitch for immigration just generic pitch and crediting the silicon valley foreigners for helping build the economy but that's legal immigration correct you see what he does again it's what he's doing this is everything act by the hand the people love to say this in fact they mix illegal immigration with legal immigration and say immigration is wonderful why would you be against most people in fact trump's whole proposal is let's let in meritbased immigration exactly the people that old baldy is talking about all the tech geniuses let them in don't have all these unskilled largely uneducated poor people come pouring in because we can handle it that's trump wants to go to a merit based legal immigration so so so.
