"Maybe look into hit the frame and run a big race for all these around 20s, one at the moment, but in case nice. Yeah, you can get to jump in there for bike up poll or in chasing fire. You really need to step out quite a bit, but a glimmer of hope from all your morphe has had 5 previous runners in grade one novice hurdles at the festival. And they have finished 7th or 16 7th of 19 fourth or 16 second or 16 and third of 16. So a very, very limited dataset, but the ones he has sent to the novice hurdles. They have outperformed market expectation. And the conflict had more behind them than ahead of them come to line. So as Paul said, extra places you can get on chasing for your will not be our master surprise of volume Murphy has him finishing ahead of more than finish ahead of him. So yeah, I tend to agree with Paul as an interest outside our chest and fire. Yeah, that's very intriguing. And his other one strong leader has formed with the horse that I liked for the champion bumper, maybe not so much now on the ground and canto Bruno. But his team should not be underestimated at all. Just briefly on some of the outsiders. High definition is very popular. He's not necessarily closing to single figures, but he's very popular. Having watched back his two runs today, he just does not jump well enough. For one thing and secondly, he's come down before the halfway point in his prep for this race. So I couldn't have him particularly given his total unreliability on the flash. He was one of the most disappointing horses at grade one level. It was group one level, but still. He just didn't, he just didn't do it. Given his background. So don't get better, I might well have helped them, but yeah. I have a question as John, and of those of those are bigger places. I was slightly surprised to see it in the pocket declared this morning. I thought he was a contender for the balimo, obviously maybe with the softening ground he's decided to come here. I think he think either being interested in the strong blue runways should definitely see them. Police has got 9 and a half lengths to make up with the let's say it's on from let the sound. I think obviously we should switch on timer as you probably will be the one who will benefit if the ground really is softer than we think maybe on the more another race. I think soft to the ground would enhance his chances later he would possibly be ashamed to slow for this and maybe then he'll run well and then step up soon after the intrigue. But if it is if the ground is genuinely soft, I think it would definitely enhance his chances before of his tallest success was found last weekend Kelso with a couple MBI since your first and second speed one during the week as well. And I think he'd be staying on more than one of the most. So he looks a strong state of the trip rather than we're going to. So deep ground and a fast paced would probably definitely enhance his chances. Yeah, I think Tom Ellis again notes, I'm actually coming around to him more and more horrible form solid process posted figures races have been working well again. Especially the towers win last time. And the toll worth it's a race that has produced on one of our constitutional give me some of our boy, York kill, even going by, so I used to know my Monsignor French holiday. So he's coming in from a race that does reduce channel one or so yeah. The Monsignor win the race when it should have been this should have been the super invaluable and triumphant on the same race if best made let's make sure that when the supreme children were on the same renewal, he finished second and snowdrop I think finished it. So was that 2001? No. Two thousand. Oh, it was the Oracle best mate missed. He was going to run the article. 8 or the RSA in office hurdle. Damn, bringing it back. Bring this back to us there. I wouldn't rule out either. He shouldn't be good enough, but the ground is going to be a leveler, and the fact that it's official going soft now, his jumping was brutal over the last two, but he's still managed to win. So he's there for sure. Don't like the ground for marine nationale whatsoever. Don't like the fact that he's run twice over hurdles, both of them right handed. Don't like the fact that he comes in here on the back of a hundred day break, has any horse won the race on the back of such a long break? Captain CB has won the 15 off a break of more than 12 weeks. If I taste rest or more, in the last 25 years. So one. To be honest, I normally I would be thinking there was a negative. I don't think it's so much an issue with any reason training from last spring throughout last summer. So is that our break at some point, you can't keep up, you can't keep a horse on the goal for that long. Yeah, but not many have tried that, but in this defense, 29 of trade in the 25 years. So not many health tried. And I was literally so mad. So he didn't have a break from this time last year until December, so he's got a lot of other brief and I think he probably assumed that the ground, the midwinter wouldn't see him, so that was the time to do it. Yeah, I was there at fairyhouse when he won. And I had backed Irish point and actually thought he got enough. But that was a cracking run. Watching the back again today and I said this in the third preview. He doesn't gain ground that he's hurdles into my eye. He's actually losing ground. When he jumps, that's not going to be beneficial to Sheldon. You won't get away with that here. You'll get away with it at your fairy house. You will not get away with it at a child. So maybe his jumping is improved dramatically. It might very well have. I wouldn't be sure but the ground for him. Yeah, he won on soft the last day, but I think that was more class than anything else.

"Still managed to talk myself into rare Middleton. But the any winnings that we get and finally we will, and I'm pretty bullish about this weekend. We'll go to the inter jockey's fund, and that's all courtesy of bed deck. Find out more bet that dot com. So Mark Milligan, who is your beta multiple? Right. Bearing in mind that we've not done particularly well over the last few weeks of these multiples. Don't go on a murder. I'm going to try and keep it simple because we need to get some money in the injured jockeys fund. So I'm going to go for a double. First two races at Kelso up Jack and mcteigue. Like that? Okay. Okay, that's Marx. Multiple Chester, no pressure. What's yours? As well. I'm not going to go for outrageous long prices. I'm going to keep it. They go for favorites. And I think I'm going to go for the mere lion in the two 25 big house. And paint the dream in the two 45 a new brake. I'm loving it lads. They will pay nicely. £50 doubles on those horses will come in feedback. We are coming for you. Chester, I thoroughly enjoyed having you on the show today and very much looking forward to getting your inside again on the show in the future. You have been a revelation, my friend. And I owe Lizzie Kelly extra shots of espresso and coffee because it was Lizzie, Lizzie's idea to approach you. And it was absolutely genius. And it's been a pleasure to be on, so very welcome. Looking forward to having you on again very, very soon. And Mark, your cheltenham dates are on the way to you. And of course, looking forward to breaking down the cheltenham festival with you, but also we'll have one more week of previewing racing, standard enough racing before the epic contest of cheltenham is on our scene. Yeah, it's going to be hard to come to the excitement of next week's podcast, isn't it? But we'll do our best. We got the imperial cup, which spoiler alert give Vega wins to enhance dance. But I'll justify that next week on the show and I always like taking a good old tilt and building up the cheltenham kitty at the imperial cup. As long as it doesn't then back far spectacularly. That is it. Remember, if you would like to be involved in a cheltenham festival runner, all about Sunday dot com. Watch house cross, you will hear Henry dummy talk about the horse's preparation, how he's getting on in a cheltenham countdown to cheltenham stable tour special tomorrow

"To prove it can run faster to beat the horse of dizzy nose caliber. So I was with him in here. I think he's got a class edge despite the fact he has to give way away. Either tentative selection for a horse that you wouldn't like at all then Mark under that scenario and castle Robin course winner. There's a lot in his favor in terms of the profile for the race, but he would need to take a pretty big step forward. And I wanted a bigger price than we're getting. So Cooper's crosser does he know. It's your choice. The two ten is the seniors, handicap hurdle. How dare you? The granny, for Harry Durham, go on, Harry, I think Harry's gonna have a winner on Friday. He's gone up against the JP long odds on shot, but four of a kind is horse we talked about with Harry in the stable tour before his training career even began. And he ran a cracker. On his day before, I think he can outrun his arts tomorrow. But by the time you're listening to this, maybe he's already won or maybe you fell out the back of the telly. But it would be brilliant for Harry to win a big Saturday race and he's got a chance here with Paul O'Brien on board 7 two two with betta currently a JB Y for Allen king and Tom cannon 6 to one same price for Locke's corner for the O'Neill team pylon is also a 7 to one shot. What's up with you? Same price and then Evan Williams bold pan with Isabel Williams on board is an 8 to one shot. Chester, who do you like in the two ten at newbury? There's nothing but the favorite, nothing really aroused informed. So it was really hard to rule anything else already massively, but I fell down on champagne city. He's won world twice on the flat since he's chose trainers to bed brook house and he started inquiry very well actually. They had the winner at Leicester the other day. And this flat runs do suggest the ability are still there. He goes and decent gratitude. He was a campaign formerly in the early in the spring and the summer. So you definitely will go on the ground and you sort of be known to be very quick this year. I think there's a edge just take a 7 pound off which is I think that's perfect generous. And he's off his last winning mark of one two four. So it's hard to be a theorist by any of them really bother favorite. Surprises not shorter, really. But of the rest of them, I think champagne city is the one to go for. And his best form comes on left handed flat tracks, which of course he gets, and more importantly, he's 12 to one. Happy days. Mark Milligan. No 12 to one shot here. I'm going with the favorite. All right, back it up, back it up. Look, this is a similar, a similar point in question to the last race in that I think dog and he has a little bit of a class edge in here. And that was a feather in the cap of Harry Durham, because he got dog and he needed to do something that his uncle Paul Nichols couldn't do and actually win a race Paul Nichols had 5 attempts with him at a second and a third and Harry gets him to win on just the second start and he won that. In really, really nice style. And that in street handicap in terms better race than this one. He's actually taking a bit of a class drop here. If you look at it in actual ratings terms, yes, he's got to carry top weight, but again, he's a horse. I think he's got a bit of a class edge on these. Yeah, he absolutely bolted up. You talked to her as well. So if he can continue that. I was fairly, I was already quite keen on him, but I've been taught to do this very much. So he's probably a big price that he's having to do. I think that actually that probably quite a big price, really. So would you still stick with your selection of champagne city? Or would you now switch to Harry Durham source? That's a nice way of playing it. That's a nice way, thank you. The way to do it. I'm very taken with your argument for champion city, but I've got to say I'm down on the side of Mark Milligan here. I think dargin is going to take that world of beating. Who are my son? And the last race gentleman is the Bedford greatwood gold cup handicap chase, 7 runners. Zanzi is does have the alternative of Kelso, but we know that this is the race he's going to go for on Michael Nolan who will be the man now on board town hill, which is terrific for him. And I think great loyalty from Philips and deserved as well for that matter takes over with Tom O'Brien on the sidelines and get well soon to Tom O'Brien has brutal to be out now. 11 to four for zanzi, who has run 6 times at the track and won 5 times. But something's got to give because there's other horses in this race who have also got phenomenal records paint. The dream, for example, winner of this race last year, and very, very prominent in the bedding as well with bed Google outright favorite Zanzibar. As the 11 to four favorite currently, just ahead of paint the dream at three to one, lord Bradley, a 5 to one shot. My God, Jim morant. Thank you. Finally, we got there. Is that the first time I've got a French pronunciation right after completely making it horror of it? Maybe. How did I ever get an aide in that subject? 11 to two. 13 to two and degree just butchered the French presentations again.

"They fought out the finish. They pulled miles clear of everything else that day. And then on the same day, they both went on to win afterwards. So the course experience he loves going left handed he loves flat tracks. But you could say the exact same thing about pay the piper and to be quite honest about it. At the prices, mackenberg at 9s for Chester has just completely spawned my head in that direction. So I'm flip flopping there. If Sam Tristan Davis gets the job done, I'll kick myself afterwards, but that's my own fault if that's the case. And let me explain, yeah. You're talking to me. Chest is feeling the pressure now, isn't he? I wasn't trusting before this, but I am now. Welcome to the final furlong podcast where I in particular just flip flop at the last second. But I'm going to go in with you because 9 to one I think is quite big and I'll probably do the tri cast with Mark source pay the piper and excitations because I did like pay the piper beforehand for all that I was favoring Pam sores. The three 15 is the grin Thorpe handicap chase over three miles and two for long. We get 8 runners Cooper's cross for the coal tar team at 5 to two shot does he know really likeable horse three to one. Castle Robin for the champion jockey brain uses 5s under supervision for the Tristan Davis is 6 to one shot Windsor avenue at tens sporting John's second run after wind up. That's a Mark Milligan angle. Aiden Coleman on board 11 to one Neville's cross 20s and the outside of the field is modor 25s Chester who do you like? I think Cooper's cross is very hard to get away from. He won the strong sky better taste. He's only 5 pounds higher today. He's improving whatever your brand is going the right way and he's very solid in a race which is full of not very solid sources. There does he know I'm not convinced this is not for stamina test. He was he's not really particularly quick course and no, I can see his head to the middle of the session. I would say that's much more his cup of tea and he wanted his child to move over three miles three. So I just be fearful. This is too much of a speed test for him. Sporting John, he's very well handicapped, but he just doesn't seem to enjoy chasing. And if you don't, it's all chasing doncaster is a really stiff jumping test actually. So if you don't it's your choice, it's not the place you want to be going. And he ran very poorly ask at two weeks ago of offenses. So I mean, he must be showing something at home to they keep persevering with this, but yeah, I just find it very hard to get away from people across is had the show will declare the rest really on all these times and so far. There's a bullish bullish show, but why wouldn't it be? And I would echo that I was supporting John I backed sporting John I'd ask it. Very talented horse on his day, maybe he'll bounce back. He gets first time blinkers as well. That could spark a revival. What about you, Mark? Yeah. I had a slight doubt as just as with does he know over the three mile two furlongs on good ground at doncaster, but conversely. I think that good ground will help him in terms of having to give way in these the class act in here for me. If he's taking him out, this is essentially just a nought to a 140 handicapped. And he's a classy animal than that. He's way classier than that. He was behind the likes of sons and hitman last time when he was third in the denman at newbury. I think he can give way away to these. I think he's got a big, big passage in here. I think, yes, he may be better with a slightly stiffer type of stamina, but conversely, the fact that this isn't necessarily going to test stamina that much will enable him to carry 12 stone around and give the away, I'd much rather be with a classy animal higher in the weights and this sort of race than go for one lower down that needs to prove it can run faster to beat the horse of dizzy nose caliber. So I was with him in here. I think he's got a class edge despite the fact he has to give way away.

"You know, there's a bit of a question mark, but he did run if he were to stay really. That's his best form as all two and two and a half. He obviously won the ball battle of hurdles two years ago. But he did run fairly well in the Galway plate. When he was 8, and he relaxed as well during this race. So he gives himself every chance this day if there is a possibility and obviously he handles the track two of our 7 and a half will be much for our history then let me loss and he would be the one I would go for in this race but yeah I've had it very, very it's very trappy and if he could run to his mark, he'll probably near enough win. Left handed undulating tracks bring out the best in him. He's run 9 times at this time of year winning twice and placing twice. There's a lot in the chantry's favor. Mark, what about you? Yeah, I was with me loss, but I think chess is just about swear to me and change my mind now because yeah, I think that just made some really good points. The fact that this could well be a means to an end, he could well be over a trip that slightly to short for him. And on a tight track as well, isn't he? Yeah, that's another thing to take into account. It's a track that's not going to test stamina, is it? And if the shunter, if he's going to get two miles 7 furlongs anywhere, he's going to get it here, isn't he? Yes, Kelso. So yes, yeah, I'm with Chester here. He's swayed me. I've gone off with me. And I'm now with I'm with the shooter. Might as well. You've swayed me too. So when la Milos wins by 15 links will all send angry watts after two. If you throw a dog a bone, you don't want to know how it tastes. I like your reasoning and I'm going to follow you in as well. We'll switch to doncaster for the handicap chase, which kicks off our proceedings at doncaster because it's going to be live on ITV. Calico is the 7 to four favorite currently with beta, paid the piper for the Hamilton team is a three to one shot excitations. I like this source a lot for Pam's life and Sam Tristan Davis, 9 to two gesture, where are you leaning for the one 30 for the handicap chase at doncaster? Well, calico obviously last time he job bob was a really good run, as fast given to his mark of what I think one two O 6. But the question is if it was a true run, then what does he actually want to and what did he achieve that say? You might have achieved one 50 by other 2.35 with just don't really know it was too under race. He won easily at southern lost 7 miles lower and the Edith obviously either as an obvious chance as the best it would suggest. I thought both paid the piper and excitations. They're both consistent, but and they're both in good form, but I felt that both of them required a career best that if I was going to go with one, I think mackenberg, he ran badly last time, but that race may have come too soon. It was only two weeks after what was the hard race to doncaster. And that may have come too soon. He's one at doncaster before, and I think he ran really well in a course distance race in January, and that was the strong race. I know since gal, he was second in that race and it was a particularly strong race. And I think that affordable sack up, I think he beat excitations in that race actually. And if you've become forgiven this bad run last time, he's only one pound higher than when he last won and I think it's worth it. I think 8 or 9 to one is too big for him really. 9 to one with bed attack for the champion jockey brain Hughes and the genius that is Donald McCain. Like in that, no pressure Mark Milligan. This was a race that I really didn't have a particularly strong opinion. Moving on. I think trust is exactly right. It's hard to know exactly what calico achieved last time. He said he could have run to one 55. He could have run to one 35 at time form. We went kind of somewhere in the middle, picked him around about one 40. He's going to find this at a different kettle of fish back in handicap company against some hard knocking characters. Tentatively, I landed on paid a paper. He's got top weight chest to make a really good point, but he's going to need a career best to win off top weight, but I think that's possible. He achieved a career best last time when he won a muscle brook and he won that really nicely there. So he's probably going to have to progress again with a couple of pounds, but I didn't think it was the deepest race to be doing it in. So tentatively, I was on paid a paper here. Yeah, I was tentatively on excitations because it was gone back. Remember, listening to or interviewing I should say Brendan Paul junior about alexio de Nui or elixir the nuts. I really like that word. And that form worked out really well.

"A couple of furlongs in trip will suit him here. He's around about 8 or 9 to one. He looks a handicapped project to me and I thought he was a decent bit of value in a trappy little race. I covered that race on talks for the run in the last day. And I was quite bullish about him winning it. I really liked that debut and has just a little bit disappointed with him, but I've watched that race back several times. Doyen star was really good. Real and full credit to Tony McCormick, he put him up on the day at ten to one. And he still got shot the entries and Evan Williams apparently thinks an awful lot of them. So that race might actually be worth an awful lot more than it looked at the time. And I wouldn't be dismissive at all of Julie smoke. That being said, colonel Harry was who I landed on, took advantage of a big drop in class after finishing fourth in the Talbot hurdle in grade one company when winning at Newcastle at the end of January, under a penalty, the negative firm in my mind is he likes to dominate and there's going to be competition for the lead. Made all the last day and looked pretty damn good there and there was plenty more to come at the line Jamie Snowden's got a 38% strike rate at the track, Gavin Sheehan, again, having a terrific season 28% of Kelso, I thought he could run a big race. So we're all going in different directions there. Carla Harry for myself. For Kerry Lee for Chester and Ho chili smoke for Mark Milligan. We've got the try cast lads. We've got to try guest sorted. The 3 o'clock is a handicap hurdle over two miles and 5 furlongs Santos blue heads the bedding just about for that man Dan skeleton, having won his last two. He's a blue brezel and he's four to one with beta. Dance with the wind. 5 to one shot, Nelson, having his first run after a wind up is 6s and man's glory for The Good Doctor, a 7 to one shot Chester, who do you like? I found this is a really hard to judge. There are a lot of forces that have won worst races as well. Four or 5 horses that won the worst races last time out and actually they're stepping up and now you're putting together like a lot of horses that are a lower level. I didn't particularly think there was an obvious bet, but if I had to go down by colors to one, it would probably be no sun. He won the premiere of his hurdle on the meeting at the meeting last year and it's been touched sporting this season, but he ran he ran well in the last run in a good handicap and cheltenham. No, he has been dropped two pounds. That is now four pounds below his best mark. And I just think he obviously had was the track well. He obviously handles the conditions well. Two more four won't be a problem for him. So he's proven up as good enough for this level. Whereas there aren't many horses in here that are proven speaking enough to this level. So he would be the one for me, but there wasn't an obvious back for me in this race. Yeah, there wasn't an obvious bit for me either. I like jewel course when her dance with the wind, but it was a tentative selection. It wouldn't be bullish. Mark, what about you? Yeah, I was exactly the same as two to be honest. I wasn't overly enamored with anything in the race from a betting point of view and did come down on Santos blue just because he's only a 6 year old, he's lightly raced, he's progressive. He gets on well with his amateur rider as well, but certain who's written him to his last two wins to be honest when I was going through the race earlier, I wasn't expecting him to be a joint favorite because he's up in grade and that kind of just throws me off a little bit, but tentatively, I'm going to stick with Santos blue, even though I don't think there's massive amounts of mileage in his price at the moment. Tricky always that one. We're going to have a grand national contender lining up in the three 35 and each way options will be gone because zanzi is due to run at newbury so unless something really weird happens here he's declared for this, but his preferred engagement is newbury and we all know he absolutely loves that track. So we'll talk about him in a few minutes. Let me Los is the 15 to 8 favorite for the premier listed chase with beta and it's all roads to the grand national of the shunter winner on this card two years ago. Hundreds of 30 for Emmett Mullins and Dunham Milo. Wishing and hoping for melroy, Alex Edwards 13 years young now at 8 to one shot and empire steel for sandy Thompson is an 11 to one shot with bed deck as we record Chester leaders off again. Is this going to be a winning step to the grand national for the Hennessy winner let me Los? I thought it's a really sharply little race to not actually rolling into the bar. To their bark will probably be enough to win. If any horse is able to even do that, it would be lost as being very good since his story that I've done scouted and now he obviously won the gold cup and that was that was really good for you mastered who's once. But I would just fear that the grand national was very much the aim and they would have left plenty to work on so I'm sure all of that the question definitely and I don't think they'll have the ready to peek and at the 72 or 7 and a half for him, which is on the short side is what banger and some of the new brilliant and that was super nice too. I just feared that he'll find it all a bit sharp and I think really the center is the one to go for in this race.

"That's positive for his jumping ability. But he is by guess way, and they do combat to hand quickly to get aways. So there's no real we can't be sure these could have improved with time and actually he may have already shown his ability. Are you like to be a lion? It was a good run of the toll worth. He was only beast in three legs. And he has the beating of the colonel Harry on that run. He was behind him that day. I think Kelso is quite a sharp track. You know, you go around three beds there. As job courses go, it is a child track. And I think that will suit him because obviously his next flat horse is probably got the best hurdles for an offer, and I think he's quite a fair price that's sort of largest too. Very good show, very good indeed for the gelding by golden horn for Kerry Lee. But Mark, what about you? Yeah, I think this is a trappy old race and just made some good points about fur and Ilya. I think anything that Emmett Mullins sends over. You've got to treat with the utmost respect, but it's not the easiest race to be making you hurdle in debut and is it a competitive little affair? I came down on the side of another Dan skelton horse Ho Julie smoke who I think the two runs he's had over hurdles today both the chips though. I think they've just been a means to an end. He certainly wasn't given anything like a hard time last time when he was third when he was dropping back. To two miles. I think he's on a reasonable opening mark of a 120. I think handicaps have been the plan all along for this one. He's only 5 year old. He's a winning pointer and he'll be suited by stepping back up in trippy shapes at Shep stoned as if two miles was a bare minimum for himself. I think stepping

"I do like colonel manderson, mustard, not occlude. With the candlestick in the library. Yeah, well hopefully with that Kelso. It was third in the county hurdle beating three legs. That was a really good run of only two parallel it was a manly competitive race and obviously it was won by state man. So he had very little chance of winning that. It's trace runs this year. I haven't been ideal, but I think they're easy to ignore. So he doesn't look like a natural tracer. He is flatbread, and I think he's just the class activist race. It's hard to knock. And one at a price I thought was I couldn't call rule out tritonic. He ran okay in the back for hurdle. He has got four pounds for that. And his flat runs recently suggest he retains his ability. And I think that sort of 25 to one, you know, he could have run his price, but it's hard to rule any obviously. It's a very competitive race. It is, I like the showed for tritonic and I really like the shirt for colonel mustard. Big fan of Lauren Fowler's and it's very, very interesting that they've decided to go for this race. The more I looked at the more I came down on the side of Cormier and it is more of a price factor than anything else. He won this off one three four last year. He's back down to one 36 now, having been raised. They've kept him very busy. He's basically running everywhere. He's been on the flash. He's over hurdles. They've tried novice chasing the last two times. That did not go well. But he traveled up really well in the county hurdle at cheltenham last year, then got bumped when he found trouble along the rail, coming to the last. He was beaten at the time, but that didn't help his finishing position. And he was respectable 7th to statement there and ran a lot better in the great Woods than his finishing position of being beaten 20 lengths would suggest. He finished 6th at his best run in the race in three attempts. There's no champion hurdle class like statement or I like to move it in here and a 12 to one he would be the each way pick of the race for me. So colonel mustard tritonic and Cormier would be the ones that Chester and myself are putting forward Mark. What about you? Are you going to agree with one of our three or put something completely different into the mix? I'm just going to keep it simple here, Emmett, and speaking of men called Emmett, do you remember two years ago, a horse called the shunt? Oh yes. How could we forget? Wouldn't this race with the shunt to make tea? He's arguably more of a class actor than the shun. So this is a horse who was good enough to run in a vert and futurity as a two year old for Jim bulger and he's a great two winner in France over hurdles and just the second start over hurdles. That third start at our toy, I think there was something wrong with him that day. So I'm prepared to put a line through that. He obviously was a bit out of his depth behind the likes of lossy mouth and last time at leopard stone. This just, it's just got Emmett Mullins plot horse all over for me this time. This is a really classy horse. I also like the fact that he was a classy flat animal. He's time form rated a 105 on the flat. And he made the frame in some really, really good handicaps in Ireland. Elsa is a track that rarely gets particularly testing is not a massive test of stamina. And I think he's flat speed or play well here. And I think he'll just be too quick for this mob to be honest. I'm all over it, so you can hear. He's going to be my nap of the weekend. Yes, it's a comparative race, but I really, really fancy fatigue in here. Well, that a toy run, the second one can't have been right. Because he beat sent donuts the time before on similar ground. According to the French it was heavy. Speak it, speaking of scent than that. He's a ten to one shot for the triumph hurdle. Yeah, worth noting. He's now time form rated a 154. Wow. Beating goes here off a mark of a 142. Potentially could have a stern in hand. Interesting. Very, very interesting. Emmett Mullins, of course, has only ever sent one runner over to Kelso and that horse was the shelter and indeed one. You'll be sending two, though at the weekend because he's got ferno lily, let's go with that. Two 25 in the premiere novices hurdle the grade two. I've done a model on board and is currently a four to one shot with beta 0% commission. If you sign up now for the first 30 days, take advantage of that for cheltenham. Niman for Carrie Lee is a 9 to two shot. Colonel Harry for Jamie Snowden, who's got a cracking record at the track, with Gavin Sheehan aboard who's been having a great season. Around about a 7 to one shot currently with bed duck and accidental rebel is 8 to one for fergal O'Brien and paddy Brennan. Chester leaders off who do you like in the grade two premiere novices hurdle? I think there are a lot of this race was a revolver about farron Italy. His bumper run last time is probably the best, best form and offer near enough and he's not really a bad price, but it's impossible to judge how it's going to take turbine. He won a, he's probably,

"The final four on podcast. It is great to have your company today. Thank you very much. Yes, it's great to be part of it. I've been a listener for many years. So it's nice to be on. And hopefully you'll find a winner or two. Oh, I'm very confident that you will be providing winners for no pressure Chester. But the question I have to ask is what's on everybody's lips? How is your recovery from the injury going? Yeah, the recovery is going really well and I can't complain I've been really since to me it seems really slow. But everyone I see things that it's gone remarkably quickly and I've improved more than they thought I would do in this time that I've been the time has been. So no massive complaints and I've been able to do more every day really so that's a good thing. That's brilliant. You have an incredibly positive outlook on life and I really love that and greatly admire it. You're made of a much sterner stuff than I am, but it's great to get your insight looking forward to hearing what you have to say and perhaps you will put Lizzie Kelly to shame on the show. Perhaps you'll be able to absolutely completely outperform her most recent tipping performance on the pod. Well, Jose, because she very much out of performed me and her riding career. So maybe the tipping I'll be able to get one back to be fair to be that's very true. I got a great message from Lizzie only during the week saying, where do I go on a bookmaker site for anti post bedding? Which I texted about instantly going, I'm so glad you asked that because if you were easily navigating the betting sites, as a former jockey, everyone would just be like, hang on a second. You're a little bit too familiar with that. Not a notion. But brilliant analyst, she was on racing TV today. Well, while I was on talk sport and looking forward to getting her childhood analysis as well. But also very much looking forward to hearing what you have to say. We'll begin at Kelso. One 15 live on ITV two miles, 5 and a half furlongs as things stand. There's 13 in, but only 12 can run, so someone's going to have to go and the going is good to soft. Shella Jack for the skeletons is this 7 to four favorite from Bill Baxter for Warren greatrex and Sean bohn at fours. Castle Russian Nikki Richards and Shawnee quinlan, 5 to one shot, and then after that, it's me a grace ten to one shot. Mark, who are you looking at in the limited handicap chase to kick off proceedings? Yeah, there's a spoiler Camille here. Basically, because if Dan skelton has a good day at Kelso on Saturday, I'll have a good day. I'll put it that way. So there's a portent of things to come. And I think Charlotte Jack takes plenty of beating in here. He never really is chasing Korea never really got started, did it. He was returning from a wind up in December at Utah to didn't get any further than the second bear where he over jumped and ended up falling. But he was given 56 days off to recover from that. And he could hardly have won any easier at lingfield last month. He absolutely dotted up. Bizarrely, it started in a handicap chase that you talks to where he fell off a mark of a 129, didn't get any further than the second fence, but the handicapper decided to drop him four pounds for that. Oh, you've only completed two fences. We'll drop your four pounds. That's very as a handicapper myself. I find that very, very strange. Anyway, by the by, he absolutely dotted up there, the handicapper has seen the error of his ways, he's putting up 11 pounds from that, I think he could still have plenty in hand from a mark of one three 6. I think he's quite a smart chaser in the making, shallot, Jack and I think he takes plenty of beating. Chester, what about you? Yeah, well, I think the right race result revolves around solo Jack. He was very impressive last time, and he turned a new leaf. It was a sort of a very good performance, but what I would say, it was a weak face. And you can't really, you can't really be sure. You have to be very good to win this race with the way he is now, got yourself 11 pounds from the other day and he will have to be very good to win. He could be very good, but we don't know that he is. And I think the horse I like is castle Russian. The jumping is obviously a problem with him. And he was going easily when I seated last about four out. But he is on the same mark as when he was the second two run to go in another fairly good race as well. And he's always run to a good level. And I think two miles full was when he was second. It's two Mars 6 today. On Saturday, which is ideal for him. And it's just too soon to step up and trip. And actually, I think you'll go close if he's if he gets around. Which is the question, but you are getting compensated with 5 to one with bed deck and you've got Sean quinlan on board as well. No offense to Brian, who is an absolute legend, obviously. But John Quinn was one of the most safest pair of hands in the business. I was very interested in build Baxter. His best form would come left handed. He has one on good to soft. to forgive the fall the last day, that's not ideal. But I do see he's been supported and Warren great he's got a crack in record. At the race course as well, a 36% strike right there. So first race, and we're all going for different horses. Charlotte Jack for Mark, castle Russian, for Chester, and build Baxter for me. I think I might be swayed no offense mark to Chester who made a very, very strong argument there. But there's time for you to pull it back, Milligan. Time for you to pull it back son. As we move on to the more battle hurdle. Where mctigue is a fascinating runner for Emmett Mullins, you would imagine it would be the boodles and whoever wins this race will be eligible for a 100,000 pound bonus at the Shelton festival. So if my teeth does indeed win this race and he's entered in several including the Carl cup which watch how his cross is very much entered for and that's our target, but the boodles coral cup and the triumph and the Martin pipe he's entered for and triumph he would have zero chance in, but he's very prominent in the betting for the other three handicaps and very prominent here at the 9 to two favorite with bed deck. Just had already knows my French pronunciations are. 11 to two for the skeletons. Colonel mustard back over hurdles for lorna Fowler. Kieran Buckley claims three and the third place finisher behind statement in the county hurdle is a 6 to one shot, teddy blue 6s, Cormier 14s, which Sean equine for Brian Ellison last year's winner. Chester, you take it away this time, who do you like in the more battle?

"And he said, with a tone of despair. The swear the coolness, you know, just started to stop, but you still, I still have, you know, it's been planted in my own brain since I was a kid that I am a cool guy. And so we have a cat, you know, Kiki, 18 years old, and she has to have special medicine in her ear every day now. And that's fine. And she has to be taken to the vet all the time and we have to, you know, give her water and the water has to move and all of that. And I'm dealing with that. And that's all fine, you know? And then Mary says, she's not eating her cat food like she should. He has this like kibble stuff. We have to augment it with some broths. She seems to like these broths. And I'm looking at the broth package now. It's like a little soft package. And it says purina fancy feast. Creamy with chicken and vegetables. Yeah. Basically, that's what it is in a decadent creamy broth. And so she said, when you go out to the supermarket, would you would you get some of those? And I went, okay, that's fine. So the ones that I got, they were kind of a blue, the words on the package were blue. And it said, the fancy feast creamy with chicken and salmon in a savory broth. And in the words broth are in this electric blue. And I brought it back. And three for $7. And I got ten. And so I brought them in and I said, I got ten of them so that Mary said she doesn't like the blue ones because it has salmon in the savory broth. She wants just chicken and vegetables in the decadent creamy broth. You want to get the words in orange. And if you said go ahead and say go ahead and take them back. The cat rejected a meal better than what we ate last night in my house. I know. Oh, by the way, she leaves the chicken and vegetables and just has the broth. That's at the bottom. So she says, go ahead and take that back. Let me tell you, there's nothing more that makes you feel like a happy man than walking back into a supermarket with 7 fancy feasts, creamy, savory broths. To return back and I want my money back and I'm explaining it to the man who is behind that counter where they sell the cigarettes, you know, and everything. And he's one of three employees covering a store that's the size of a football field. So he has to stop checking people out. To deal with the fact that I have the wrong kitten broth. So we did that and all of a sudden, our regular stories out of the orange kitten cat broths. I went, oh my God. They don't have orange. I have got to come back. Because otherwise, I come through the door, empty handed. I had failed as a husband. There are three supermarkets within two and a half miles in my house, approximately. I went to the second one, they're out too. I go to the third supermarket and I'm gum, the pet island I'm searching and I'm searching. All of a sudden, there it is, an entire section of the fancy feast creamy with chicken and vegetable in a decadent creamy broth in the orange broth packages. And I reach up to take about ten of them and I say scored scoring and at that point, this woman walked behind me and just kind of looked at me because I'm saying scoring halting fancy feast creamy with chicken and vegetables in a decadent creamy broth packages. And it was at that moment that I said to myself if you ever wore cool, you're not now. Daniel Craig never once was in a pet food aisle, sweating about whether or not he could find the right packages of savory creamy chicken broth for the cat who is going to just slurp it up and then walk away. And if she doesn't get them, she will howl for two hours. Daniel Craig never did that, but that's where I am. And I went home and I told my wife this, I said, you know what made me feel like I'm not a cool guy. And she went. Huh. You just realized that. And she laughed. I said, what are you laughing at me? She said, that's not why I love you, boo boo. I love you because you will go get the fancy face creamy with chicken and vegetables in a decadent creamy bowl. And I had to just walk away. Appreciating that she does love me. But the coolness is what I paid for. With that love. Would you rather be cool and alone? Listen to me. You are winning. You not only got the right cat food. You got your money back. And your wife praised you. This is one of the more successful days you've had in a long time. I did get my money back, but I want my cool back, and I'm afraid it's gone forever now. Yeah. The food line can not give you your callback. No. No. No. It's bobbing sherry. What do I do? Now we don't know exactly what happened to the smitten young Reddit user, but there's a new movie out on Prime Video based on that viral post, where, well, the boy just goes for it. I don't know, I don't really know why. I think that that's a problem. Do you think horses are bred stronger now or not? I think that that's secular too. I think that things change. I feel like right now that I'm horses are staying a little sadder than they used to, I think we went through a stage where we had horses weren't quite as sound. I don't know if there ever be back to the regular horses of the four dose of Kelso's that you were talking about. I think those were different type of horse. You know, you again, we all go back to the safety and be torched. You don't want to run a horse into the ground either. So, you know, it's a tricky subject to deal with. I mean, with the field sizes and the way that the industry is now, but you also, the bottom line is you got to do what's right by the orders and make sure they stay safe. Yes, yes. So that's being working. And it feels science goes up and false as goes up and down too. And I'm predicting next few years with the strength of the persons that we have right now. And the strength of the sales that we've had in the last couple of years, you'll see more more folks being rare, mayors being bred more folks being born. I mean, the Belmont recent Belmont meet their field size was just over 8 for race and that was almost 2% up from last year. So the days of having you're not going to have 12 horses in every race, it's just not going to happen anymore. I don't think well not right now it's not, but average and 8 is not bad. No, it's not. No question is what was once elections in our legal system. You know, there is no question about that. Well, that's why I like the Schluter system so much really. It is the system. And I guess let's just start with the basic. How do you heat a ceramic tile floor? Well, there's a couple of ways there's there's the heat that we're talking about is an electric heat. So it's very centralized. It's not really made for you know the general meeting of the home. It's just it's to make the floor warm to the touch to walk on. So it's done with electric cable. You could get it any 120 20 Volt, You can run a lot more on one circling to 20 than 1 10 for your listeners and know a little bit about electricity. But nonetheless, it's gonna actually generate heat through the cable on the table is put underneath the child and indeed to heat we have this ingenious pattern of the Detroit membrane, which allows you to just snot won the table in the place around all the scouts. Better on the membrane. And then you just fill it with inset as you coming from set to set your tiles. So the cables right under Lupo tile, and then turn it on with the thermostat and you can set it. And you can set it for weekends and nights and weekdays and was scheduled, which is nice about to turn on and off. And then you just have that nice warm for right underneath right underneath the tile. Sure, um, Oh, so tell me about the Detroit remembering just for people know that. Let's say we just tore up a Ah vinyl floor. We're building a shower and you're right about the big showers, too. A lot of times, people make a mist Ake. I think it's a mistake. They start building an eight by H Hour, six by eight shower. You got two showerheads and hot water, and it's called in there. Yeah. I mean, you know, maybe three by six is okay. But I think when they get really big, heated floors a nice little addition. Do it now. But getting back to my other project you do We take off the tile and we have the you know the sub floor. King just walked me through What is determined? Boring. What material is it made of? And you talked about how it's kind of map to put the deter heat in there, which I love that makes it idiot proof. Almost But what has that membrane made of? The membrane is made out of a plastic, a polyethylene plastic and it's configured membrane. What teacher is all about, and teachers been around in the US for over 30 years, Right? It's what you would use as an underlayment for tile, which means it goes over your sub flooring your home, Whether it's concrete and a plywood and a These days and always be orry industry and board. You bonded with a sense that directly to that sub floor, Maman, you live on the tile to the top of the teacher and with the DJ does Wasn't underlayment. This one is called in uncoupling underlayment, which means it's gonna allow the tile to be a lot affected by any chickens is in dimension. Have the form the wood from summer to winter. You know how your house expansion, all right? Oh, yeah. Humidity. If you're on a slab, and you get, you know, cracks in the slab they don't transfer through and have Adverse affect on your final style than you so Actually underlayment. You would use it in lieu of what a lot of people think of Thailand. A layman has concrete back aboard to say so. We eliminate the concrete border facing that a blessing. Jerry, get that Kelso question who enjoys the process of using backward board? But, yeah, exactly. So the Detroit remembering is just put down within, said How thick is that? It's the deter heat is a little less in the quarter inch thick, so it's very thin doesn't have to a lot of height, which makes it nicely and transitioning from a room that doesn't have tile. Into the room that does as farmers, elevations don't have a toast over there because it is such a thin membrane. Right? Um, to heat a ceramic floor. Is that expensive visit in expensive because it's kind of a radiant heat, too, right? It is a radiant heat, even though we can't claim it is news for general King of the of the of the space, Right? Well, I can tell you in my own house. Carrie, do you have the heat? It does really help. Like you said earlier. It's cold. It's cold in there. And of course, when you're in the shower, you're not wearing anything. So that's right in your way and your wet so it's nice to have some surface actually generating heat. And where you needed at your extremities down at your feet, So that's that's kind of nice to have it down there. So yeah, that does work quite quite nicely to have that in place and have that warm when when you're in that, occupying that space, so it is a radiant heat..

times when it had to go through transitions and and construction we take a lot of that for Grad I think it's it's a great sport and a course in the forties fifties and sixties I was introduced just do it in the fifties late fifties I realized my uncle was a jockey you know Gordon fifty-one by fifty nine I really started knowing what being jockey was is in in it's an amazing sport in and it was as a kid I can remember going to school and you I second-grade teacher would say to you when you walk in the room jump who do yesterday garden state with Ryan the Tommy Roberts on the radio and sure to feed your from garden state it is but it had so much more exposed back then and it was just needs to be a little kid and your uncle was the jockey and you go to school in second grade teacher him or her out Sam do yesterday it was just really visit was a great area to grow up in being a garden state we've lived around here and I was born uncle lived right down the street and every time I go to Java Complex I can't help but think I'd walk through this area the shopping complex I walked through it and I wonder what born this was I wanted to win more to the racetrack this was yeah and I can't help but to think that like you really turned into no sign of a gun but that's been raging so good to me and I really resisted even when I get on night I voice this morning only got on your credit some lazing how these sources respond to the wind and the crew cab pitchers and I'm thinking to myself here people say we've made these sources you know the people that not you make these horses run and I'm thinking boy you never watched one of 'em crane you idiot because I love what they're doing when you get out there in the morning and one gets the wind up the back and tail up over the back and they're just loving the doc in play and you're on the back open that they go straight because you're you know you're on the back and you WANNA get on back on their back so you get them home and and I'm thinking the ever watch these and play and enjoy what they're doing you'd never make that statement that you make these sources Geez how little right now well I tony I spent that part of that segment with with Steve Thumbing through racing manuals and I as you talk and I pulled you up in one of them and according to this you were born right there in Mount Holly right there Mt Holly Hospital and you know when you got the talking about Keelan and Steve was talking about Jaylen Brown bag mentally that came in and you know I can Robert my I look at it when I went down there for a week derived from Mrs Paxton and I miss his bags and had some nice sources I wonder Ashlin states one of the Chris Braces I wanNA keep an amazing two zero ratio and I never forget when we pulled up don't know what the roads were but he mentioned it and you see the beautiful four rail white fence of Kelly farm you know and yeah and when you're driving from Blue Grass Airport airport tune that track and at four rail vengeance ain't enough we got or railway that's beautiful country and I had is your ride down there and spending a week just you know just because it was in the late Saturday and I was just such an enjoyable week didn't go down there to ride running by them this is taxing only wrote a couple races they're both of them that I remember that I want maybe wrote a few others and then one other time I went back to key eliminate eighty one and I won a prep that they use with the Kentucky Derby or whatever what Jerry Myers outdoors classic Gogo and he won a race and hurricanes then I forget what the race was like the floor runner the Lexington I don't know what the name of the race was but it was just a neat place and it was true only the who's raising capital you know get to see the beautiful farms and you know you went out at night eight and back and drove past these beautiful funds nothing who would want to go on a tour to see what horseracing really is about and what breed opinion and the beautiful mayors and stallions and were what they're exposed to the beauty and care and everything the love of racing that is displayed by everyone who goes to goes to that track and I mean you had young kids 'cause there'd be a day that they entertain the college kids of the young go very big big big you think man this is what racing it really when you go to Gaylon or you go to an event like that really you your whole outlook on horse racing and what a beautiful split it really is so I think Steve's publicist for for these tours and also there is the the initiative that several of the farms put together it's gotTa be now probably was five years I'd bet the Horse Country Initiative and Mike Michael Blown is part of this too with the with the after care portion and creating a destination the whole horse tourism concept that really when you're right it is a perfect compliment to everything else that goes on and and particularly the racing product the afternoons and my hat's off to these guys I mean they do a lot to put the word out there what racing's early about and they go to the next level they actually show you these places these beautiful farms and it's really like I said at your whole outlook on racing and Qinglin what a beautiful track of the beautiful grandstand and the grey stone construction and a better place could you go to introduce somebody to racing

The Inactive Ingredients in Pills Can Cause Side Effects, Too
"If you have a bad reaction to medicine, it might not be to the drug itself, but to other ingredients in the pill or capsule, an article in science translational medicine examined the issue, and finds that the average oral medication contains eight inactive ingredients NPR science correspondent Richard Harris reports a few years ago. Harvard gastroenterologist Giovanni Traverso came across a patient with a severe gluten intolerance called seal EAC disease. The person was having trouble with a medication that apparently contained gluten as an inactive ingredient potentially making the person's condition worse. Not better traverse, oh got intrigued and found that the typical pill is more inactive ingredient than actual drug somewhere around seventy five percents of the actual, you know, pillar capsule has actually taken up by these inactive ingredients and drug companies have more than a thousand to choose from. They can include materials like gluten and lactose and dies that can trigger allergies in some. Instances there can be up to thirty five of them in a single pill. He says these inactive ingredients are essential to stabilize medications and sometimes to help the body absorb the actual drug people taking multiple medicines can end up getting the same inactive ingredient from several pills and get an unexpectedly large dose say, you are lactose intolerant. And take a pill that uses lactose sugar as an inactive ingredient, that's probably not going to manifest in any significance at those. But as the number of pills that you're taking than certainly you might cross that threshold one challenge and understanding the scope of this problem is often not clear how much of a particular substance. It takes to trigger an allergy or other reaction. It's something that might vary from one person to another. But you know, for a lot of these sugars and other ingredients, we don't really know today in San Diego. John Kelso, an allergist at the scripts clinic says he occasionally comes across patients who have had an allergic reaction to something in their medications. It's actually we think quite uncommon. In fact, most of the time it's a false alarm, for example, after many years worrying about the traces of egg protein in flu vaccines. Health officials now say that people with effigies are not at risk from the shot overreaction to this worry can actually backfire. And oftentimes the medications are being withheld from patients who say, they're allergic to eggs, or soy. And or something else that maybe in the medication, but it's actually not a problem. In fact, one of the most common allergies to an actual drug penicillin. Is it so overstated Kelso says we realized lately that approximately ninety five percent of patients who are labeled as being penicillin allergic are not either because they never were or because they had an allergy that Wayne with the passage of time for people who are concerned about the inactive ingredients. Traverso at Harvard says it is possible to track down that information in the fine print that comes with pills. One can look in the inserts. Of medications, and then you can look through all the taxing. Eventually you'll find it the national library of medicine also has an online database called pillbox for versa and his colleagues have a patent pending on an algorithm that can help make this sleuthing easier. They're thinking about developing consumer app or some software to help doctors and pharmacists alert their patients to potentially troublesome. Inactive
