"Then he missed indie because of covid nineteen when he tested positive, do you think there were that really meant that many people surprise Jimmy Johnson did not make the playoffs probably, but I don't also should've said you look at what saw? What does he in the last three years Shoko they missed the playoffs last year it's not like this came out of nowhere they missed the playoffs for the very first time last year. And then you come into this year. Yes. The. Indianapolis because of the Positive Cobra tests and then the qualify after Charlotte for the car fail in sexually would finished second that definitely hurts but he also has what twenty three other races to try to get himself in a better position going through Daytona and having you see how it shakes out in the file race of the regular season team has just very hot or cold one. You look at the forty eight and they're running well as you say, okay, they're sack everything is fine because their top ten and keep coming. Up to go to another race the next week and the out. Wondering. What's wrong because we've outside the? About fifteen. So that has been the struggle the last couple years. So yeah, maybe he's not some bandages for price because you expected them to make the playoffs with you expect to run well. But again, if you're looking at the bigger picture, this team has struggled the last couple of years and. Even. Before Charlotte, the disqualification even before the Cova tested Indianapolis, he was already near bubble. So going to NATO, her was not a shock to him and he said that he was. What the situation was selling e for a couple of weeks. It's not like he was surprised that it happened. So that kind of helped his emotions after Saturday United States that Daytona. So I I don't know if it should be a big shock not surprised everybody else maybe just because it's Jimmy Johnson and it's crazy to think of him not being in the playoffs but we went through this last year where we saw him not play off of the very first time and here are 'cause that's even. Try to right. The ship is exactly true and one thing you noted they're talking about that team be and hot and cold. On another flip side of that coin. One driver that has seemed to be. More consistent this year and that seems like it's the most consistency. He's ever produced here in his career. Is Erica Merola, and even though he's not one, he's led races he finished in the top ten in the stages. and. He's produced by top five and fourteen top tens. Have, you been surprised with Eric's consistency this year his consistency in the top team I reprise. that. I think it was about five or six or maybe eight potholes in a row model. Because that's impressive to do for a team and a driver who's ever done that before. You know some somebody like Kevin Hart Records Hamlets who do that? It's not surprising because we were we've gotten used to them dominating the regular season. Now. So to look down at around Merola, who was also in the top ten week after week after week I think the stretch was about eight, eight eight. That to me was surprising because he'd never that before I even know. top-five issue before his career. So I was very impressed by that. That has been there stood they've been very consistent. Solid. Again they don't have the playoff points and they don't have to win. But, they're putting together a great season. I don't know that's not Talwar Championship material worthy. But it's definitely worthy of an impressive season of the top ten season. They're going GONNA be. I expect them to be contenders to to go into around advanced around or to..

"So I like the fact that again, you kind of twofold here, we've got some fresh blood in this little rivalry. We're gonna make history with this first he'll see MAC, and I think Charlotte or excuse me off is the perfect person in this kind of match to put in there because we know she can she can be just as hard and rough and tumble in the rest of them. And again, it puts her back in the spotlight after she'd kind of floundering after losing wrestlemainia. So there's many many options here. And again, I think the biggest thing is again we pivot after the snatch and mixing up this title again, bring in some new faces completely agree. So talking about mixing it up and bring in new faces. I thought one of the the big things at battle, Royal? That they had battery oil. I don't know. I don't know the technical term. But when they had all the ladies in the ring, and they they were basically trying to get that third spot and TLC for the title. You know, it ended up being Oscar and Sonia Ville, and they actually played that up and they gave even the next week. Like Sonia a lot of credit. You know, what I mean on television? I I'm wondering like she's got the look she's got the background. I'm wondering if maybe she's one that's in line for for another big push down the road because I felt like they kind of keyed in on her. And then the next week. Sometimes I'll do that. And you'll be you'll get second in one of those matches. And then you never hear about it again but felt like the following week. They kind of brought it back, and I'm going I wonder if Sony DeVille now is in line for possible possible push into into the into one of these titles scenes at some point. Well, that's certainly would fresh things up. I mean, it's do faith the last couple of weeks. It's been interesting. It seems like it's been her Mandy kind of popping up. All these storyline. Going back to the battle Royal though, the biggest thing that stood out. Some was not only was she one of the final two with Oscar the crowd reaction. The crowd reaction was there for her kind of surprise. I have really noticed in the weeks leading up to that that she had been somebody that the crowd would maybe warming up to and the crowd was you know, what hand like we want us go because we're so used to ask, oh, we, you know, we we want her back being Oscar, but the other the other hand it was like they're also just as excited what it's doing something and getting close to eliminating Oskar. So I really kinda will crowd you hopefully, the folks in the backward as well. And that will help if there is a direction that we can go until you, I think again, your point she got she got it all and she's got the world. We know she's tough his nails and she very microphone. I haven't really noticed. Her be, you know, out of sorts or anything on the microphone. She can do promo. So yeah, if she's been next one here in line kinda get a push. I'm all for it. Now, another thing I would say is. You know, again, you're going to do this whole is the man becky's man, you gotta put her up against people who are realistic challenges and Sonia. The Bill would be very very good challenge for. Yeah. You know? And and I completely agree there. It's like you said she'd be a good challenge. I mean, there's a lot of women on the smackdown side that I find entertaining. I love the iconic because they're so annoying that you know, they're just good heels when they can annoy you that bad. Carmella? She was actually really impressive in that battle, Royal. I'm kind of a fan of her. He'll issue whatever. But like it looked like they were she was eliminating people. You know in in her whole roads champ. It was all about you know, kind of weasling her way into yet another victory. And I went there putting around here somebody that's actually capable of, you know, getting women out of this match, you know, so, but I still don't see them as realistic challenges..

"Like, I just I've never really gone like periods where I didn't watch as much in my life like maybe year period or something like that. But I always come back to it. I don't know if you've been kind of the same way. Yeah. I mean, I grew up watching it. And I I went through a period where I stopped. A couple of years. I don't I don't remember. What those ears were maybe. Oh, eight oh nine and then just by chance got back into it. One of my fellow raping colleagues. Jim mutter had an extra ticket for a raw. That was in. Guess Orlando about few years ago. We were down there for speed weeks for data. And he's like, hey, you wanna go? Actually, I love to go to it live back into it. And like fifteen sixteen and I mean, and I'm just as hooked now. And just as invested in it now, I wasn't I missed a few years there. But if it's always big part of of my life. I guess you could say yeah, same here. Well, and I know we're gonna switch it up. I know I was doing a little research just fair warning for people. Tune in obviously, you'll know by the title of the podcast, but we're gonna talk nothing today, but women's pro wrestling because it's become huge in the WWE actually just in all organizations, but like I was looking and there's some amazing wrestling podcasts out there and radio shows in that. And you know, they talk about both minutes and women's wrestling. But I did like search the internet. And there was literally like only one show in existence that only covers women wrestling, and it doesn't really have much of a following. And they actually don't cover a lot of WWE. They cover all other women. Is wrestling. It's weird. So I was like, well if we're gonna do this. Let's talk about this all these Radstock lines happened in WW with the women. And starting that we gotta talk about Becky Lynch because you and I both big Becky Lynch vans. But I gotta ask you Kelly. I mean, where do we go from here with her because she's a bad ass. She's been compared to everybody, you know, even stone cold at this point like. I mean, I know we've got this big TLC matchup coming up with Oscar, Charlotte. It's gonna be massive. But I mean, where do they go from her here with her because if you like if this point she's been built so big like, you've gotta protect or somehow like, I mean, I don't know. It's It's like like. I feel like they're walking on. I don't know. It's got to be really careful here. Don't you think? Yeah. I think so the thing is becky's been doing this whole ma-. You know, she's a man type of attitude since I believe it was summer slam when she slapped Charlotte after Charlotte won the title, and it, you know, obviously that was back in what August, but if you kinda just started it feels like this whole angle with her this whole her trying to show this new side of her and need anybody. I'm all for me. It feels like we're still just in the beginning of it because she's only been focused on Charlotte and this match that we have coming up. It's like, okay. You can't take the belt off her yet. Because you haven't really done anything like she she's focused on Charlotte. She's fought Charlotte. She fought Charlotte. She's fought Charlotte. Okay. Now, she's gonna fight Charlotte Oeste. But it's like it. She supposed to be this this. I'm the man I can take on anybody. I run this division. This is my show then you have to have her. Goes through the show. You have to have her go through the rest of the women's roster. Right. So to me, it's like you go into TLC you have to keep the title off her. And then after that you close the book on Charlotte because I've much love Charlotte Charlotte fan. I think she's she's talented. I think she has every you know, piece of the puzzle to be in the big picture at the same time. She can't always be in the big picture, you know, and and it seems like it's always Charlotte in these getting these title opportunities to be even know she's in this match. I don't even know why she's getting another title opportunity because her and Beck even fighting for last couple months and she keeps losing with. Why is she getting another opportunity page?.

"Sports celebrities, bad asses musicians, you never know where things are going to go on this show today is definitely no different trion to shake things up a little bit. And you know, one of my big things that I love to watch his pro wrestling had our fair share of pro wrestlers on the show before obviously couple of weeks ago. We had w w e legend, Tori Wilson, we've also had Natalie. Eva Marie on the show, we've had Lilian Garcia WWE ring announcer. So I don't know list goes on we've Nita Strauss who has become synonymous with music and WWE now. So yeah, we've done our fair, share progressing talk. Today shaking things up. It. We are going to have a whole show dedicated to women's pro wrestling in the current storylines. Good friend, Kelly Crandall, you know, her from racer magazine. She is also a massive wrestling fan. She covers it via social media and things like that. So I heard I we're going to wrap out on all things women's pro wrestling today on the show. So if you're pro wrestling fan, you're gonna love this episode. If you're not a pro wrestling fan yet, you probably want to go back in the archives a few shows, but just fair warning. "It was at night. I don't know like ten thirty seven o'clock at night guy was running from the police anyways. He literally went through a building. And it was a pawnshop went through the front of the pond shop through the side of the pond shop like you hit it in angle. And then he went through like those two walls, and then drove inland kind of like a strip mall, and then drove through a third building into a church and destroyed the church. They took out a pawnshop Takata church punch the churches fixable and nothing. I mean, there's major damage, but like nothing like, I guess as far as stuff, but the other ones upon shot man took out like their memorabilia their gold. They're like sports memorabilia like is bad news. Right. And I feel bad for the owners because insurance has already monkey them around. I insurance cash don't even get me started on them. But yes, so so this guy they arrested whatever I mean, hopefully, they lock him up for a long time. I guess he's hiring a kite. You know, from what I understand, you know, running from the cops because he didn't want to get in trouble for being stoned while driving or whatever anyways. So you start chiming in. Are you start reading on on social media in this just blows my mind with social media like these people? It was the police officers fault for chasing this, dude. And that the police officers ought to pay for they ought to be the ones to pay the damages, and they ought to be the ones to pay for the pond shop like their loss of of memorabilia and stuff like that. Because if they weren't pursuing the guy he would have never crashed. And I'm like. You people from like the guy was going ninety miles an hour thirty five zone. Hired a kite and he's running from the police like seriously. It's the police's fought for chasing this guy. None. No, no. It doesn't work that way. But anyway, it's like sometimes I just I just and it's big news in a small town. Right. This whole car chase thing. But sometimes I just shake my head. And I'm like man people on the internet are crazy. And this has nothing to do with motor sports car chase. I guess we got cars involved. But I don't know it just it kind of kind of blew my mind. Absolutely. Just kind of blew my mind was. Wow. Like, wow. And you guys are definitely on another planet. Anyways. I guess maybe we will talk about I'm all over the grid today. I apologize. "My friend owing dead. It's noble Monday here. I'm a little sore let your little from this frigging, but back to work this morning back to the grind things. I know it seems like we, I guess, outta apologize because I think every time we've had you on the show, I think it's been about three or four times now it's like after a big win, I feel like you probably think, man. This guy only text me when I'm when I'm coming off a big win, but that means you actually have something to talk about mad. I mean, red bull, straight rhythm. Going into this thing, man, you've got to be pumped on walking away with the victory. Yeah, it was pretty cool. Especially after not really film very good on the bike. The t show was really different and it took me a while to really I, I really didn't get comfortable. I'm until like when we were down to the nation, that married. So I really nervous about it and really just didn't feel good on the night. But I was impressing cell just kinda how doubted throughout the day and and got better thrown and just the it was it was going to get to race done in the finals and even beat him that that was not really sending expected to do. But I, I never met. I couldn't do it. So it was really cool. Well, you don't, and we'll talk about dungeon a minute because we got a lot to talk about their, but going back to this too. Stroke thing. I mean, you know, I think fans were excited. You know, because two strokes have been out of supercross for quite some time, but I mean, you know, this isn't even something like you have to stroke that you play on here and there. I mean, you know, some guys. I know you know, Pastrana he loves to play on one, you know, in a lot of guys prefer to, but I mean you when you're training for supercross outdoors. I mean, you generally train on what you're actually racing. Right? I mean, this is had been way different for you. Yeah, none. That's the thing is I don't morally ride anything unless I'm training when I'm training, I'm not gonna read something that and nagging to race. So I've never, actually, I, I would say that I maybe Dana handful on to Detroit ever. I've ridden one twenty five and stuff, but to to shrug haven't ridden ridden one and then two young on it on Wednesday. Last week for the very first time on super awesome. And pretty much is go get the feel on it and then there's why guy wrote it for about fifteen minutes. And then the next day on Thursday was straighten her them practice. And so we we put in about thirty thirty or forty five minutes riding on Thursday, and then a hundred show and racing on Saturday. So it was pretty different, but it was a lot of fun. And I know that that all the things and everybody said that it was so much better that here just because everybody was two strokes, probably even the playing field. I don't want to even the playing field, but you know, everybody was starting from ground zero. 'cause I got to think a lot of guys like you. They may have written two strokes years in the past, but it it's been a while, you know? So it was. It was kind of taking everybody out of their element and you know, throwing everybody for. A loop, right? Yeah, that's kinda what was somewhat tenting was the marry for sure they had this trigger than I did. I did the premier class, but I was in a three fifty that year. So I didn't really expect to do much and I got eliminated in quarterfinals, I think, but then this year it's like, okay, well, everybody's everybody's pretty similar. Not not really anybody here ride the two-stroke mainly. And so that was that was kind of comforting, and it was nice to see that other people throughout the day kind of had their struggles because it I, it gave me a little bit of confidence that, okay. Well, I'm not the only one that feels like a a new to out here and I got done what doing so that was that was at least somewhat comforting? Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, I mean, and I know straight rhythms a little bit different every year because creek me for last year straight rhythm. You were on to fifty this when they were run a four stroke, she took a victory, right?.

"I will be in the off season of a career retrospective with Elliott Sadler some great stuff there. So Christopher this week last week was Ryan McGee ESPN talk about the book co authored with Galen junior, which I thought was so inciteful Ryan's conversation about about the book and highly recommend the book. I read it in one day 'cause I just it was unbelievable. I can't believe Dale junior was racing in the condition. He was in not only to sixteen when we when we hold of his concussions, but the last couple years. So very insightful. There I've known Haley begin on forget the podcast is willing some awesome. I'm thankful atmosphere. And Twitter is that Kerry cranberries to follow me yell at me over there. Plenty of that racing wrestling on Instagram. If my name is well got a Facebook pages while somebody be here trying to spread the word on the crazy kind of NASCAR. Well, thanks a lot, Kelly. I appreciate the time and I think we definitely need to do this a little bit more often. Absolutely me. Like I said, I'm glad we got anytime you just send me message and then we'll have to. Always fun. Catching up with Kelly Crandall. I can't say always funds. I caught up with her, but yeah, it's funny we, we started that we did the first third of the interview is us talking about pro wrestling, which is funny because I figured I'm the only grown adult pro wrestling fan left in the world, but I guess they sell out arenas and everything else and podcast of I, it can't be all kids, you know paying for those. But yeah, it was. Yeah, fun. Catching up with her and you guys know. I've been an advocate of that for so long. I don't care if you're good guy. I don't care if you're a bad guy, be some kind of guy or girl and have some personality. That's what gets the fans latched on. They wanna know you. They want, they want to love you or they wanna hate you. One of the two, but you know, it really doesn't matter if they love your hate you. It's his long as they are talking about you. You know, you look back. You've got guys like Dale Earnhardt, senior man, the man in black, right? He was. He was feared the intimidator, right? He wore the black hat and he did it. Well, people love to love Dale Earnhardt and they love to hate dealer and heart, but I can tell you there was nobody that was neutral on Dale Earnhardt. And then you know you had people like danika Patrick very much the same. You know, not only was she a trailblazer for women in motor sport, but you know she was. She was a bit of a bad ass. And danika Patrick. She she wore that blackout at times. She did it well, she was a no nonsense tell it like it is. I will tell you if I don't like you. I'm gonna tell you what's wrong, and I'll tell you what's right, and you know, you wanna know why danika Patrick made waves in this industry. It's because she just didn't slide into the industry and she wasn't just a girl who drove a race car and did it? Well, she was a girl who drove a race car and did it well, and she had an opinion and she wasn't scared to state it. And I think that is why danika Patrick was as big as a personality she was because you wanted to hear what she was going to say. If she crashed out of the race, man, you are glued to your TV man. What Stanton's gonna say what's danika could say, you know, everybody wanted to know they wanted to see that interview. Same thing goes with the Dale Earnhardt senior, you know, like she had talked about both the bushes, you know you, you love, Kyle and Kurt Busch, you know, because they, they got a bit of an edge. They got a bit of an attitude and. You'll want to know what what they're going to say. You know people tune in for those interviews, whether you love them or hate him, you wanna know what they're gonna say, and that's what creates a fan base, and that's what makes you know for a winner. You know that that's how you you get larger than life and become this personality. And ultimately that's how the sponsors come in and get involved in back you. So lots.

But Steve feels like he was wrong last year, and this guy comes out and he is the best interview because he's a pull, no punches tell it like it is Texan, and he's got the fans rally behind him right now because he gets in front of the Mike, and you know exactly what's going on in his head. He doesn't pull punches. He doesn't exactly say what the HR wants to hear, but Steve's being Steve and he's being real. And I think that often Tissot the fans of latched onto, and I think, you know, they are really rallying around him just because they know they're getting. The real, Steve Torrence. Yeah, no, that's awesome. I'll have to go find some of clips or some stories. I know from a journalist perspective, NASCAR, I want the same thing I want to drive at. Tell me how you feel and I understand you have you have sponsors and team members and people who probably don't want you out that thanks or things, but it get at the same time. Like tell me how you really feel like if you're pissed angry and if you think somebody that you've long if you think somebody's out there driving over their heads acting like an idiot, it's great that I can hear you say that on the radio in the heat of the moment, but then when you get out of the race card, tell me about it. You know, tell me four expand on it, go to their ever and tell us what's going on. If you just do like a guy, which is when I spec Kyle Busch, because Kyle said it last year and homestead before the title race. What with him. Should ensure x. Kevin Harvick and bracket softy and people. You know, we are trying to pretty much poke the bear when it comes to Kyle because we all know Kyle's. I've had their problems and Kyle just finally said, hey, just don't like the guy, and that's awesome. And that was a headline all dead. And you know what? I didn't do anything wrong with that because sometimes you don't Kevin Harvick. Kyle. Busch can sit up there and say they're good friends and they've got, you know, much better place than maybe they want a couple years ago. That's date. You know bracket consider them to say, you know, trying and be politically correct if he doesn't anger anybody, but the guy next to, The you know. guy that makes me smile because I've got something right about of being that genuine, and I think the sport need for that. I think the sport needs for drivers saying what they feel and again, you know, I'll go back to it, I know have sponsors and I know we've got what it worry about, but in a perfect world him if we, if we could have what we want, if would be bored driving getting out of the race cards, exactly. How they feel about the race school, the racing, the race track, you know somebody doing them wrong. I wasn't. I love to have that on on a weekly basis..

"Back to just being, you know, the sewer matching ill. My own besides that, if you don't allow defused. I mean, that's nothing being built in that one is vision still line wise as those all those. I, I think that day again, they got the or something that that sounds good. And they carried the blue show. But I think that is that most fans are paying to now because it's so good and interesting. Well, here's, here's my Saguim indus- talking about racing here, and I've, I've been an advocate of this on this show for I don't know how long and I think there's something that professional race car drivers can take from pro wrestling and the way the pro wrestlers talk on the Mike, and sometimes they wear the white hat sometimes where the black cat, but they have personalities and people get attached to personalities. And I figure I feel like in racing in nascar's got a little more personality than other forms of racing. But I, I look at NHRA and IndyCar and I'm like, these guys need to pick a personality in roll with it because that's how fans are going to get excited. That's how they're going to get latched on. That's going to how how you're going to build your fan base. I mean, I look at these pro wrestlers. There's not one of them that doesn't have a million plus Instagram followers. And you know you're hard pressed defined. Somebody in NASCAR with a million Instagram followers. I mean, I feel like that there's a lot of people could learn from pro wrestling as far as race car drivers in the way they carry themselves with the media. There's a lot of. I would say it'd be stands beyond just character which is what they're talking about. But again, that's, you know, that's a whole conversation we can have today, and it's something I've actually talked about with believing. I talked to him last year which Mond because his and he one day marketing and agency, it relies, I guess you'd say and everything marketing for Richard racing, and I talked to master work and see coming. You know sports in the team that over into knack and making the same with. Has been in the wrestling and out just that you all days and things like that. Going character cancer, which talking absolutely. Personality. W w. That's what it's all about because you're putting on sale. Ask how many times in the last couple of years. Somebody to sit. And we never that he's not when I got into the sport, and I've definitely. This actually easy entertainment word and. Then let us go out here. They are. How long here and possible. Somebody. Listen, keep his long CNS. We played that up as much as possible. For family sport, but at the same time to crazy too. Rated. Be that the in the what. Gosh, he's still playing that anyway. It'd be today. Right? And you know who. If you're posting. But if you if we. All right. Go for it. Isn't that bad if you? I mean, what I've. Happened is that when we got into this phase a couple years ago, being signed for some of their comments. I mean, it's kinda stared a lot of kind of new. Come because they would make comments about, you know, the race called on or the or wherever. Wherever, you know, they don't want their products and speak to be to be Richard because you want to. So they're walking. Mobile. You know, say, hey, not want this talks about everything, but, hey. And and I could be. Looking in. It seems like drivers just gave up and you know why weiner's time, please people wanting. Here in time someone either aid besides be now day into social media. Friends, looking lady and and message comments. You know on that stuff. So I'm probably kinda rambling and I just I, I make you there that we need personality, but I wonder if that's the same time we're kind of kind consumed on because we almost done it to ourselves and we'll be back with more with Kelly Crandall.

"One of my guests this week, Kelly Crandall with, I guess the racing writers podcast and racer magazine welcome to the show Kelly. Yeah, you know, and we got a lot of racing to talk today, but before we get to that more important things, I found out your big wrestling fan. I'm a big wrestling fan. So we gotta talk about Becky Lynch because I can't talk w very often on this show. Yeah. Yeah, that's what's funny because like I think on my podcast, I've got my podcast and I've had like Lilian Garcia on, and I think I'm actually getting ready to do something with Tori. Tori Wilson with this with this volition pay per view coming up, and I been able to dabble into the wrestling side of things have been on my podcast, but this the national show like we never touch on it. And I'm like, man, the one wrestling storyline going on right now is Becky Lynch, and I know you you, I swear like out of all wrestling. This has me so gripped right now and obviously it's gotta. Have you pretty locked in as well? Line with Becky Lynch, Charlotte, just I would not expect much from it to be honest with you, and they just Evanston so many slam with me escape the bone and ran with. Has kind of the town of the and I've been a fight for. I wanted to do it my way. Almost they've day females and change them cold. I know people and I love tactic. She you. Lynch's so talented and the fact that she's now getting to show that and run with this. This has been like probably the airbase we're line of smackdown the last two months and that of Donnelly, four, two women to get that attention. But the fact that the story is so good and getting such reaction in the arena. I mean, chanting for even. No way. To do everything. Many say she's reacting to just. Reacting to. So it's this one hundred just fascinating because you can. You can relate to somebody with like what this Rebekah Chinatown love. You know, I'm sitting whether people taking my spotlight. I'm sick of other people, especially my some of my best friend coming in and stealing from me and for whom go out and and much great chemistry matches are unbelievable. They're very, they're very believable. In a sense I'm hosted. It's probably to me, it's the best dummy. I would say it's probably the best storyline in WWE right now. Like I watch both shows and I doubt a little bit in x t in like, it's, I think it's like through the whole company. It's probably be best story line. Like I, I'm hooked like I tune into smack down for the five to ten minutes segment, you know, getting clued those two every week. Literally. That's what I'm tuning in for. Oh, absolutely. I along. Six three show Monday night and it's just, I don't know. I feel it's kind kinda spoiled out. You know, it's a lot of the same batches. The last couple of weeks I keep doing the same thing over over and you know, I'm trying to push, you know the shield and I'm assuming that by bringing the, she'll back together that they're trying to find a way to get people to back room and Raines because let's be honest. I mean, anybody who watches the Debbie does not a fan favorite from one lever the other. So that's the only reason I explain the shield because events again, and the Ambrose was Wolman and everybody loves that group. Right? But I on the last week, that's the same stuff either time or is maybe. It's the scene over and over again the women. I'm really upset..

"But Shane just absolutely destroyed the field there and beat a couple of legends. I mean, you know, for guy to win in the knockout Dungy in the final. I mean Ryan Dungy. This was this dude was the greatest writer on the planet two years ago. And then Dungy just came off a win over Villapando who was the greatest writer on the planet a couple years before that, like you know, I mean, we're talking about the goats here. You wanna talk about five or six of the greatest supercross writers of all time. Ryan Dungy and Ryan villa Poder both on that list. I with Ricky Johnson on their Jamie McGrath above. Stewart and. Who else? And Ricky Carmichael. Those are my goats right there of all time. So I don't know. Are you with me? Tell me I'm wrong Twitter at Jimmy fifteen who your goats I got. I've got Ricky Johnson, Jeremy McGrath. Ricky Carmichael, Bubba Stewart, Ryan villa, pogo and Ryan Dungy. Those are my goats right there. My six goats of supercross you tell me yours are. I would love love love to have this argument with you guys or maybe missing something man. Who am I missing on this list? Those are my six goats and I could be missing somebody from early days right. And there's guys that I really like. They've been guests on here, ton respect for guys like Damon, Bradshaw, but Bradshaw he was never quite goat worthy. I don't wanna say he'd be the first to tell you. You know what I mean? Just there's that elite level. You know what I mean? You know, who's who's gonna be next there? Could it be Tomac I dunno till Mackie's looking pretty strong. It very well could be the next on the list. You know, there's always a guy that emerges once these big guys, you know, the goats retire, so, but yeah, anyways, it should be interesting. You know, to see what straight rhythm happens with that event here in the future. I was stoked to see the two strokes, Shane mcelrath, beaten villa, pota- Dungy massive statement for him. Definitely. A lot of momentum hadn't into this off season for Shane mcelrath. That's for sure. So, yeah, other event, I know we only got a couple of minutes for we gotta go to a break, so we're going to have to cut our Formula one talk short, but I gotta tell you f one US grand prix, coda there in Austin, Texas. If that race didn't make you Formula one fan, I don't know what will. And the problem with that is this was the best Formula one race I've seen in a decade. There was so much passing there at the end. Louis Hamilton almost thrown it away. I mean that it was so great big prosecutor Reich in the Ice Man. I had. Fun without on Twitter because literally no emotion Kimmy is what I like to call them and guy wins first race and over one hundred grand pres. No motion literally straight face. They aren't you excited and no seriously. Kimmy have a little excitement in your life. Dude, you would be no fun at a party. But yeah, the the race there in Austin, so much passing crazy, carnage and chaos to start the race. It was an amazing grand prix. If you guys haven't tuned into Formula one in a long time, you probably watch that went, wow, this is awesome. The problem is it's not an every weekend, so props, the Austin, Texas for for building a an amazing, amazing grand prix track. But I guess problem is I think it's so much better than a lot of the other ones that it makes it kind of a snooze fest for Formula one fans across the globe when they've got a tune into a lot of the other ones. I mean, things like Monaco, obviously, that track. Is so old. There's no passing that would never be if somebody came with that track layout in this day and age, there's no way that would get signed off on as a Formula one track, but it's been there forever. It is their Indy five hundred. It's going to be around to stay that race is one in qualifying, but I think this new Miami track could be fun. Any cars had run. There was an IndyCar formerly, I can't remember. But yeah, that track lends itself to a lot of passing opportunities. I think it's like modeled after Detroit, I can't remember. But anyways, lots of lots of good stuff to come for Formula one fans. We'll have Ryan beat after the break here on the down and dirty radio show powered by police razor. Want extreme performance reliability, and the most fun you.

"So yes, we had a lot of racing going on this weekend. I know he kind of already started talking a little bit about red bull straight rhythms. I guess we should roll right into that that I guess we'll talk more about this with shame mcelrath coming up. He's going to be an hour number two. We got Ryan beat here in our number one. We've also got Kelly Crandall in our number two as well. But yeah, so straight rhythm. You know the big thing about this year. You know the in the past, they've had kind of the open class. I know Pastrana couple years ago when he came into straight rhythm here aced on a two stroke. It's Pastrana. It's two stroke, smoke man. That's all Mr.. Teepee one ninety nine will raise is a two stroke. You know this. That's just Travis to staple. If he was on a four-stroke. You'd be wondering if the guy sick, what's going on, like traff traffic p what is going on. You're on a four-stroke trap. Don't do four strokes trapped us two strokes. That is just the way Mr. persona works. So he showed up on a five hundred c. c monster at straight read them. And I remember that one because I think he actually backflip the finish line so that that's Travis him and Levi lavallee just got a backflip right? If you just got to flip it, that's just the way these boys work member lavallee x. games he's snow cross and he's cruising around there and just the size of the throw a backflip in the middle of the race. Like who does that leave the valley? Who does that Travis Pastrana these two guys. They just they like to flip. So anyways, yes, two strokes have kind of dabbled in in straight rhythm off and on. So I guess the powers that be decided, hey, let's make red bull straight rhythm. All two strokes this year instead of having to two fifty class to fifty four stroke class, I should say, and then like an open class where it's run, which brung they decided, well, we'll just make it a one twenty five and two fifty class old school supercross and motocross. I dig it. So they had the one twenty five class and they had the two fifty class. Well, Mr. Shane mcelrath decided that he was going to run the two fifty. Two stroke Lassie won the two fifty four stroke class last year. So you've got him in then you've got a couple of heavy hitter. Well, yet Ronnie Mack who I don't know what the hell happened. Arriving MAC, poor guy is not having a good month got booted out of inex- of nations. Now, all of a sudden at red bull straight rhythm. He said they wouldn't let them race. Because he didn't practice. I don't know what's going on. I've heard a rumor that it's injuries and all kinds of things, but running back did not race. He was there. He was slated to and something's going on with Mr. on imac poor guy. He's gonna need a shrink before this is over. He. Not having a good month four on him out. He just wants to ride his damn dirt bike and nobody will let them do it. But. Yeah. So Rodney Mack was there, but the big ones Shane, mcelrath obviously, you talked to Shane and Shane say he wasn't a favourite going in. You talk to me and I set it on Twitter..

"Radio show powered by Polaris razor. Jim beaver here holding it down and what is going to be a fun fun show, man, great guest lineup, couple in a new, a new cast member today onto the show. I don't know why am I call him cast member? Isn't that what Disneyland calls? Aaron -ployees. But anyways, racer magazines, Kelly Crandall also has a podcast called the racing writers podcast. She will be joining me today to talk. Yes, a little bit of NASCAR. And yes, a little bit of pro wrestling who would've thought I would've found another fellow pro wrestling fan in the world motor sports. I didn't. But hey, we found Kelly Crandall so I can guarantee you we're gonna talk a little bit of pro wrestling today. Weird, right. I know. So up for the shenanigans is going to happen in that interview. We've got red bull straight rhythm winner, Shane mcelrath. He is going to be calling into the show definitely looking forward to catching up with him. We're gonna talk twenty nineteen what's on tap for him and that big, big win there at red bull. Straight rhythm also got my general tire teammate, Mr Ryan beat coming off a championship season that he locked up there in Phoenix and wild horse.
