Journalist Julie Kelly Describes the Recent Hearing of January 6 Defendant Ryan Samsel

"Guys, I'm delighted to welcome back to the podcast my favorite journalist Julie Kelly, the heroine of the January 6th reporting. Julie has, well, Julie writes for American greatness, but she has an important and bestselling new book out. It's just called January 6th and I'm going to read the subtitle how Democrats use the capital protest to launch a war on terror against the political right. Julie, welcome back, delighted to have you as always, you were just at a hearing and tell us all about it. So thank you, dinesh for having me on and we'll talk a little bit about my book. But there was just a hearing this morning on Thursday morning related to the case of Ryan samso, who has been in jail arrested last January 30th. And it's important because this ties into the ray eps controversy that we've been seeing for the past several days. Ryan samso is the man who ray Epps whispered in his ear right before Ryan Samuel becomes the first Trump supporter first capital protester to breach the initial lines at the perimeter of the grounds that day. He has been, as I said, arrested and detained since last January, the government continues to delay his case. He wasn't even formally indicted by grand jury until August. What DoJ is doing now to delay his trial and what I believe is to delay revealing what happened with ray eps because of course it was a critical point right before the breach is delaying his trial. They've added defendants to his case. And the judge judged Tim Kelly again today delayed for the next few weeks until January 27th, another status hearing is DoJ adds defendants ads indictments and then claims they need to add more discovery. This is just part of DoJ's gamesmanship in delaying as much as they can what happened on January 6th and specifically related to any sort of government informants or assets that were used in the capitol

'January 6' Author Julie Kelly Describes What Actually Happened on That Fateful Day

"Folks talking to Julie Kelly both hours today, the brand new book January 6th, which is an expose on what actually happened and what we can know as of now. So Julie, again, what actually happened based on your reportage is dramatically different than the narrative we're getting. The candlelight vigil that the Democrats put on the other day. All of this just ridiculous theater. Mainstream media and to some extent conservative media is going along with this. What gives you hope that the truth is coming out? I do think that at least if our Republican leadership is you said Kevin McCarthy, who is just very weak, let's think about this. Last week, he released a video a little Montage talking about what Republicans were going to do. They stand up for this. They stand up for that. Stand up for law enforcement. He included clips of the U.S. capitol police in this video. This is the agency responsible for the near point blank execution of Ashley babbitt. I would say the speakers lobby on January 6th. And here is the Republican leader of the House of Representatives commending this police agency who not only is responsible for her killing, but covering up the name of the officer who did it for months on end. This is the agency who still lies to this day that Brian sicknick was killed in the line of duty by Trump supporters and here you have Kevin McCarthy, including them in a clip instead of other police officers across the country who are under siege every day and major cities as Democrat governors let crime run rampant. This is how tone deaf and out of touch Kevin McCarthy is and shame on him for commending U.S. capitol police and now going along for the most part with this January 6th narrative. But Eric, I do feel like the rank and file the base of the Republican Party are increasingly outraged about what they hear about January 6th are increasingly suspicious and convinced that the government played a much bigger, if not animating central role in what happened that day. And they are starting to call for Republican lawmakers to be held

'January 6' Author Julie Kelly on What Americans Can Do to Help

"Folks final segment with Julie Kelly, the book is called January 6th. Julie, I just thank God that you exist and that you are working hard to get the truth out at a time when let's face it. Many people are working hard to keep the truth away from most of us, but we're not about to go down without a fight. What can people do to help? I mean, besides buy your book and share this information wherever they can. What else can folks do? Well, Eric, thank you so much for having me on and spending all this time getting into some of the details. It's so important. And hopefully we've given your viewers and listeners some information they didn't have before. So thank you so much. What people can do, of course, I be grateful. They would purchase my book just so they have all the information details. Also, I would ask them to push their Republican representatives in Congress and in the Senate to talk more about this and defend the people who are ensnared in this abusive investigation. I also would point people to the patriot freedom project. It's patriot freedom project dot com. Eric, there was no apparatus in place to help people with legal defense or families who needed financial help because their husband or father was dragged off to this D.C. gulag where they've been languishing for months fired by their job causing great financial strain. So this is a really great project that was started by the adoptive aunt of one of the detainees. And it's raised a lot of money. So people are looking to help these people. I think that that's the best fun that they can go to and contribute whatever they possibly can to show support that we're in solidarity with not just these Americans, but we are in solidarity with each other

Was the Government in on Creating the Illusion of January 6?

"Talking to Julie Kelly Julie, your book is January 6th. And you're laying out some facts here. And what is your conclusion based? I mean, you've looked into this a lot. But as your conclusion, roughly what mine is, as I listen to you, that the fix was in, that people like Nancy Pelosi. I mean, this is chilling that the Speaker of the House of Representatives was in on wanting to create an incident that would give them political leverage against their enemies. Can this be happening in America? Is this possible? It is a hard reality to confront that the people in power are that evil. Are that a moral? Are that desperate for revenge against their political opponents, including millions of Americans, that they're capable of doing such a thing? And it's been a tough reality to confront through my reporting over the past year, but Eric, when I listen to these line prosecutors, what they say in charging documents, the accusations that they make against American citizens. When I listen to federal judges, berate Americans for parading in the capitol, accusing them of trying to overthrow the government, sentencing them to 30, 60, 90 days in prison, people with no criminal record just for walking in and out of the capitol for ten minutes where they thought they had been permitted. When I take in what I hear and what I read, I do believe that that is exactly what this government did on January 6th. It was months in advance. You only have to go back to some of the lockdown rallies for instance in Lansing Michigan in April of 2020 that created a lot of the same optics a lot of the same news coverage. I considered a dress rehearsal for January 6th. So this is not far fetched conspiracy theorist thinking. This

Journalist Julie Kelly Spent the Past Year Watching the January 6 Narrative Unfold

"Julie talk a little bit about your experience this last year, how you got into this story, very few people are covering it. It was considered to be radioactive or fringe at first. Now it's very interesting and increasingly mainstream. Just tell us a little bit about that. I'm super interested. As I was watching it, it just didn't make sense to me. I think it just smelled right away. And all of my red flags after following not just rush 8, but all the lockdown policies, how that always orchestrated and came together. So I did not share the outrage about what was happening insurrection and all of that. And so I think I was just skeptical from the get go. I also viewed it as a way to stop any claims or investigations into election fraud, which of course it's successfully did. As I was saying before, it was successful because then senators came back and a few senators who were planning to help object to these electoral results in the 6 contested states backed off. And of course, then Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were certified the next day about 3 o'clock in the morning. And so I think I just started following it from there. But I then I became aware of the people who were charged. And hearing what judges were saying in court, denying bail to people, one the first story I wrote about was Queen Griffin, the cowboys for Trump guy, who was charged with trespassing. He didn't even go inside the building. He was lawfully outside, charged with trespassing and a judge denied him bail based on the fact that he did not believe the Joe Biden was the legitimately elected president and therefore he would not follow any of the laws of the government. And so he was considered a flight risk and danger to the community.

Was January 6 a False Flag Operation? In-Depth with Julie Kelly

"If you were to speculate, which I know that you try not to do, what do you the day before? The night of January 5th. What do you think the plans were from the intelligence apparatus? What do you think they wanted to have happen? Walk us through what the equation you think they had. They said, okay, there's going to be 50,000 people. They're going to be angry, Congress will be meeting. Do you think what I'm really getting at is how much of what happened on January 6th was an act of unexpected pandemonium and what happens when you get thousands of people and how much of it was actually metaphorically put pen to paper beforehand? What is your speculation in that? I think the majority of it was orchestrated and planned ahead of time by government agencies. I think some of it was people who were there to cause trouble. And certainly those who have got who got caught up in a mob mentality. Now, but let's talk about a pivotal moment that afternoon. One that our president and everyone else overlooked yesterday is the shooting and killing of Ashley babbitt. That happened about two 44 that afternoon. When that news and you could see video, when that news made its way through the crowd, and some people actually saw Ashley that his body being carried out, not very respectfully, I will know by police officers. That really incited the crowd as well. So that, I mean, that is majorly overlooked as a factor of inciting this mob that day or inciting the protesters that they so you have all of these things happening at one time. And certainly Charlie, we also know from video that you had capital police officers who opened up the doors on the Senate side and let at least 300 protesters come in. So why were they allowing people in? Why were they not arresting people? Why were they not making announcements from the scaffolding in everywhere else? Hey, this building is closed. The property is closed. The grounds are closed. If you don't departed in the next half an hour, you're all going to be arrested. None of that happened.

How Democrats Used the Capitol Protest to Launch a War on Terror Against the Political Right

"Okay, with this right now is Julie Kelly, she's done an amazing job her new book, how Democrats use the capital protests to launch a war on terror against the political right, Julie, thank you so much for joining the Charlie Kirk show. Hey, Charlie, thanks so much for having me on. I appreciate it. So we've had on this week Darren Beatty and Ben wein garten and you've done an amazing job covering this over the last couple months. Summarize the thesis because it's very precise what you have here. How Democrats use the capital protest to launch a war on terror. What is the war on terror that's unfolding in front of our eyes? Well, you can see this, especially yesterday when you had vice president Kamala Harris tick off past terror attacks and then add January 6th, 2021 to the end. Now let's set aside how egregious outlandish and how demeaning it is to the people who were murdered at those various days on 9 11 and of course Pearl Harbor. But this gives them justification to turn the tools of terrorism the war on terror, which has been aimed at foreign adversaries foreign threats to domestic threats and those domestic threats or Donald Trump, the Republican Party, the Republican information ecosystem. And, of course, the millions, tens of millions of Trump voters and supporters. So when Christopher ray designated under oath in Congress in March, he designated for our disturbance at the capitol, a domestic terror attack. That enabled the entire national security state, law enforcement FBI, et cetera, a local law enforcement to then treat the defendants, treat the event and anyone tied to the events of that day as a domestic terror threat.

One Year Later: What's Happened to the January 6 Defendants?

"And we back one on one with American greatnesses, Julie Kelly. Julie, you you've written the book on January 6th. I want everybody to read it. When you tell us what has happened since January the 6th, the numbers of arrests, how people were treated in prison access to these individuals. The charges are putative insurrection. What were these people actually charged with and how were they treated? So more than 700 Americans have now been arrested, most of them face misdemeanor, charges, trespassing, parading in the capitol, which is my personal favorite. We now have those, at least 80 men being held under pretrial detention orders, more than half of them are riding in a D.C. jail that has been set aside just for January 6th defendants. So yes, we have a political prison in this country in this nation's capital. They have not been convicted of any crime, but they have been deemed a danger to society by Joe Biden's line prosecutors and by federal judges, judges, by the way, all appointees, Donald Trump's judges, Barack Obama's judges, Ronald Reagan's judges, all have deemed these people a danger to society. They must be held behind bars awaiting trials that the government and the federal judges continue to delay into the middle or even late next year.

What Have We Learned 1 Year After January 6? Journalist Julie Kelly Tells Us

"What else do we know a year later really happened on Capitol Hill? Well, okay, so we do know that there are various FBI informants, and now we know because of this newsweek, bombshell that was published on Monday that there were hundreds of elite FBI special forces. They called them shadowy commandos that were stationed at Quantico starting on January 2nd and third. And then were on capitol grounds early that morning. So who were these FBI commandos? I mean, I've seen all the video in photos. I don't see anybody that says FBI is here. If they had hundreds of these forces, what were they doing? Why weren't they protecting the capitol? Why weren't they protecting lawmakers who felt that their lives were threatened? And so this looks like another set up by Christopher ray's FBI, just like the Whitmer kidnapping plot, which is falling apart for the government as well. And so but what they've done is taken this four hour disturbance. They've blamed Donald Trump for inciting this insurrection. They have now arrested more than 700 Americans most of them charged with low level misdemeanors, but in the process have destroyed their lives, some of them are being sent to prison for class B misdemeanors, basically parading in the capitol. And so to my point in my book, which I give a detailed timeline of exactly what happened at day, but also how this Justice Department, the entire Biden regime Joe Biden himself is weaponizing that four hour disturbance and targeting the political right millions of Americans and launching a domestic war on terror against Americans

'January 6' Author Julie Kelly Describes What Actually Happened That Day

"Let's talk about what happened 364 days ago here in the nation's capital. So Julie, can you start the beginning? We're going to talk about your book January 6th. It's just out how Democrats use the capital protest to launch a war on terror against the political right. What everybody to order it right now just came out this week. But if a Martian landed today and said, who knows about January 6th? Ah, yes. We've heard of this Julie Kelly person. What would you say to Martians who know nothing about what actually happened Julie? Well, I think I would start off with that it increasingly looks like an inside job by the government and especially the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which we know is been highly politicized and weaponized the act as the Jack boots of the Democratic Party. So it looks like another FBI set up another FBI trap where they knew hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters were going to be in the capitol in January 6th. They wanted to provoke this sort of violence, which had never happened at any other Trump rally, including the two previous stop to steal rallies, as you know some in November December. The only violence at those rallies were perpetrated by BLM and antifa activists who attacked Trump supporters as they were leaving the various speeches. And so people have even been stabbed. I mean, you know, members of the Proud Boys, I think 5 at one time was stand by members of antifa. So that's the normalization of violence on the left.

"They're not looking into Pelosi and her dereliction of duty Are they Julie No but they're not And here's one thing I want to say about Nancy Pelosi and Mario Bowser the D.C. mayor who rejected offers of additional national guardsmen I believe that it is because D.C. natural police and capital police had their marching orders which was to number one attack the crowd of peaceful protesters early on These officers contrary to the groupthink most of them were covered head to toe and riot gear They were not recognizable They did not have badge numbers You could not see their faces They started throwing explosives into the crowd assembled outside doing nothing wrong This was included flash bangs something called sting balls which releases rubber bullets Capitol police had what looked like guns long like but some sort of rifle that they were putting pepper balls into which emits pepper gas when it hits the ground And so there's plenty of video and photographs of this happening right before the first physical breach of the building but marks this is what led to a lot of the confrontations between protesters and police Where you see Trump supporters yelling at police you know we've always had your back we've supported you We back the blue Why are you doing this to us The former NYPD police officer Thomas Webster who runs up to the police line as screaming at them calling them communists for attacking Americans And so this prompted some of the attacks back on police So I believe that that is primarily why Nancy Pelosi mura Bowser did not want guardsman there to say what are you doing You're not supposed to be assaulting

But i think i'm going to stick with my chelsea does my lemonades. Those are the ones that get me through. What about for you. I i have a lot of respect for both of the races and for the caramel which i agree. I need to kind of see if this is gonna work. One of my other questions with it is like is this going to be more of like a really soft site cookie or like. What are we dealing with in terms of texture. Here i'm fascinated. I is where i'll put it. Well now i have a hot take. That will probably get dragged online. But that's what we're here for. I love orioles. Orioles to me are better than all of the girl scout. Cookies every single one and neither agree nor disagree. I respect so you're gonna leave me out here to flounder on my own understood. I actually making a compelling point. I think that by sheer amount. I could eat more oreos than i could girl scout cookies and oreos are are amazing so step it up a girl scouts anyway just like that. We've checked our temps. It's almost like a mesh material. It's everywhere right now. They have short sleeved. Versions of long-sleeve versions. Sometimes they have a matching skirt option. I know kylie jenner has done it a couple times. And it's just this graphic print it can be multiple different things And they're everywhere and that's another big ninety. One chokers all of those things as far as affordable fashion. I have a couple of different places. I go to For girls i've got i love. Aco's lulus vici dolls and then also for dudes aco's and then top man which is now owned by says is also a great one so those are some really great options to keep in mind Last question i'll do is about mike clean diet so when i say clean. A lot of people You know think. Diet like misery. And i don't think that that is where this should go. I think actually what i've learned in the last. You know ten years of my dieting. Or you know how i eat is that you don't have to be restrictive. Necessarily you don't have to hold yourself back. You just have to find clean options of real food. And if you're doing real food boyfriend talks about this in the podcast did together but i cooked a lot during quarantine and i just had him start eating the way that i do a lot. And he lost ten pounds. Literally in two weeks are three weeks. Whatever it was we were also working out a lot but it couldn't have been because we cut back on alcohol because i'll tell you during quarantine we tonight so i know it is all about your food and when you're eating real food you would be astonished at the lower calorie rate that comes in so i don't do gluten and dairy. Now do that perfectly all the time. No i try to focus on doing like the eighty twenty eighty percent twenty percent which is like eighty percent of the time. I'm going to try to gluten free dairy free. And then. When i go to restaurants i know. It can be tricky. Although gluten-free has gotten pretty easy Dairy it's just hard to say what they're cooking with all the ingredients and all that stuff But i do try really hard to do. Gluten and dairy free and the reason i started doing that was based off of a visit with a natural path and i'd just got tested for food allergies. They make me really congested. My stomach blows. I just don't feel good. I'm very lethargic. I get really achey and my legs on a gluten. It's really bizarre. But for me it's just causing a ton of inflammation in my body and as i preach about a lot of times. Inflammation is the number one thing that causes diseases. So we really want to keep that down in our bodies On top of that. Like i said i really do. Try to eat real food. So i try to stay away from processed things or if i'm going to do ships i like this company called like sieh because chips and salsa are definitely my favorite foods so There's a company like that have grain free gluten free just junk. Free options for chips tortillas. You know all sorts of different things. Now they have a dairy free caso they have tacos seasoning. I mean they're just all over the place in their amazing so if you're loving you know mexican foods and can't imagine living without things like that. This is what i'm saying. You just have to find the cleaner version of what you're already doing if you love chicken wings. I'm not going tell you don't eat a chicken wing. Go get a clean chicken from like a whole foods and organic meat. That is that isn't full of junk non gmo not pumped full of a bunch of different chemicals and get a really great sauce. There's one by this company called noble. It's a buffalo hot wing sauce. That is insane and i would eat it even if it like. I would eat over these bad junk filled buffalo sauces. And i've got my boyfriend on that. Which i can say for. Sure means that it's good because he is like a housing specialist so the fact that us the kids everybody'll eat. It means something good. And if you want to start i would say is get some cookbooks. Because that was what really helped me learn how to eat this way. I did do a whole thirty cleanse. You don't even have to do the clinton though they're recipes are so amazing and I eat them even. When i'm not doing the cleanser the diet if you wanna call it that There's another one by me. Mccormick that i use a lot. It's called my pinewood kitchen. She's also been the podcast and she got so sick it to the point where she could not even really eat food. She got down to like ninety pounds because so many food allergies were happening in her body and she could not processed food and so the doctors. Even we're like we don't know what to tell you but like she finally did enough research and enough learning to figure out how food can also heal. Our bodies doesn't have to be taking us down and making a sick which is what's happening a lot because of all the junk that's being put into our foods are meets our vegetables all of it just chemicals that we shouldn't even be around are going inside of our bodies. This is why girls are getting their periods younger. There's all of this research about all these things and me is a really great. Her cookbook is a really great place to start..

"You've seen us on stage roasted each other laughing going crazy but now the women have lower now. Have a podcast. Criti- simone you guys. I'm so excited about this beautiful beautiful season. We have so many episodes talking to nick cannon. We're talking to eighty five south. We get into it with go being. You want to see that episode. He's got above boiling. Listen to the women of wild and now on the i heart radio app or wherever you get your podcast conversations on life style beauty and relationships. It's the velvets edge podcasts. With kelly henderson. Check check check. Check the solo podcast. Because i'm not the biggest fan of these. But i have been getting a lot of requests to answer more emails from you guys and then when i do my instagram question and answer session. There's always people either asking the same questions or wanting more info. So i figured i would just pick a couple of those and go into some more in depth answers on the podcast here. I actually haven't seen these questions. I had my assistant kind of go through them and pick out the ones that we got most repeatedly Or that. I've gotten a lot in the past or that. She just thought were interesting. That you guys would go through someone. Answer my top. I don't know ten to fifteen questions. We'll see how long the answers take and see where we go. Okay so to start this. This first question. Says i want to see how you walk. If you guys don't know what this is referencing. I get this question a lot or this comment. Allot i get it on my instagram pictures. But i did a podcast with my boyfriend. Who really does not enjoy. The public is so he isn't very involved on my instagram. Or the podcast. Mention him But we don't really have like a public relationship which is a little bit odd for a person who shares their life so publicly. But i do respect him for that and i try to respect his privacy as well as his daughter's privacy and so they're mentioned briefly but i don't go into too many details however he did do one podcast with me. He came on the velvets edge podcast. And it's called the international man of mystery as a joke. Obviously because nobody knows who he is but he talked a lot about when we first met and someone asked the question. What was the first thing you notice about. Kelly and he talked about it a couple of times in the podcast but he referenced. My walk now. I have no clue what this means really. I'm just walking. I'm just living my life. I don't even know how do are like what's so special about it or anything. That caught his attention about it. But apparently. I have some sort of strut that i do. So maybe i'll make a video. Maybe this is good tick-tock material. I don't know you guys know. I don't really understand talkie there but he did mentioned. Not if you haven't listened to that podcast. It was a big hit because people love hearing from him and he has a really sexy voice. If i'm being really honest it's like a little bit raspy. I don't know he's just real cute says search that podcast. It's called the international man of mystery and it is. I mean okay. This next question says how do i. Oh i'm sorry. I'm dating a single dad. His sixteen year old daughter is not having it any advice. Well this kind of goes hand in hand with talking about my boyfriend. He has two daughters They are nine and seven so they're a little bit on the younger side. And i'm sure when you get involved with a person who has a teenager. It might bring a few different issues than i've had to face. But i do understand his transition and in my experience i was the first one to date my guy after a divorce. And so you know. There's a lot to navigate there and it was difficult for all parties on some level. I think but we did. We were able to kind of navigate through that in a team. Like manner which i think is super super important if you can do it And it's just the right thing to do for the kids because they have a lot of emotions going on. They don't want their parents to be dating other people. They want their parents to be together. And i had to accept that and not take it personally but you know that was some of the battle that we went through at the beginning was just sort of. Why do you have to have a girlfriend. Which i get and i know that with my thinking about my parents doing that just really hard to think about. So i do think it's really important to respect the kid's feelings and try as hard as you can not to take things personal because it isn't personal. It isn't about you. it isn't about what you do or don't bring to the table. It's just them navigating through their emotions and their kids so on this case teenagers. So let's not even get started on the hormonal aspects of all those things happening but Do i was told very early on. And then i read this in a lot of blogs about this this kind of stuff Transitioning into dating someone with kids but that consistency is the most important thing that you could do so for me. It was small things that i like. I'm gonna wake up every morning when the girls wake up. And i'm gonna help them do their hair because that's a skill set that i have and it was a good way for us to bond and then it became this small thing that i do not you know. It's not like life. Changing their dad could help them put in a ponytail if he needed to And their moms created here to get it on the other side but the best part for me was that that became something that they could count on every day and so it was just our routine and once we started developing small things like that like little routines or they knew i was going to be the one to do it are they knew to come to me for certain things it really did. Start to create this bond between us. That is now very very strong and a really have noticed. I've started traveling again with work. And when i'm having to miss them a lot because of the scheduling or i don't get my qualities. How am i can't show up in the ways that i do. It takes a minute for us to kind.

"There's going to be a chapter on red carpet secrets. So how i worked with jennifer garner to get ready for the peppermint movie or jessica alba post baby molly. Sims post baby. Whoa so kind of giving the keys to the kingdom they're A chapter on plant-based eve. Ot's so i had a lot of not. I wouldn't say backlash but a lot of comments from vegans vegetarians. Like you don't like soy protein and beans a lot you say. The beans have carbohydrates in congressional carbohydrates for me to eat so Every single one of these Chapters will actually include a twenty one day. Plan three weeks of recipes tips and tricks. Yeah all my favorite products how to look at products look at nutrition label. This is so good. It's science book postpartum. You'll have like a postpartum for like mummies postpartum sort of thing in there to So i think the baby love book would be next after that. Maybe you are this. Self-made breaking queen. I love you. "Has a party plus one grade yeah fine but can you start with the smoothie because sometimes it's just overwhelming for people to start something new and it's way better if something becomes a habit let an action to become a habit because i wanted to have it. You don't think about it. Yeah it's not. It's not taking mental effort and energy. I like to think about like steve. Jobs word turtlenecks. You know that was his uniform if you can make something like a food choice a habit. Yeah it's really good but food is emotional. And you need to have flexibility with food if you get taken out on a date night. You don't wanna feel food anxiety and stress drama. Just have a small salad. I there's there's a lot of people. And i'm a human and eve especially after having the baby i wanted to really be aware of everything i a and then i found myself like depriving myself like hanging out with girlfriends. That girls night and saying like. I can't have that because if i eat it just going to throw me off. I just need to be really disciplined by. It's not about like feeling bad or having anxiety when you eat and i think a lot of people nowadays they see certain image on social media and how people look maybe their favorite celebrities who are in like the most amazing shape and then they put themselves down there like. I have to punish myself and i can't eat this. You know. say two girls like that. Yeah no I'm yeah i'm actually. And i see this all the time. What i will say is say. For example of bloggers. We're getting together for an event. That was a brunch put on by a brand and you're walking into a bunch of carbohydrates and sugar and sugar smoothies and toast or whatever but needed to go to that event and you went and then you maybe had some things that you didn't feel great about when you left the inclination for you to deprive. Is there what i would say is instead of depriving and thinking you'll restart tomorrow. How can you restart right now and not restart by depriving but say you know one of the. The smoothie is also a tip that can be used for lunch or in the middle of the afternoon when you're craving brownie or cookie Because the thing is is it's a physical restart just like a workout is a physical restart. Drinking smoothies physical restart. Your restart can happen at your next meal and so many times. I see people start tomorrow morning on monday. The first of the month the first of the year. And they're putting this off and what's happening between when they decide to put it off and the actual start time of the restart way. More damage is happening. And it's all spiraling out of guilt so instead of allowing yourself to feel guilty. Say what. What have i decided as physical restart for me. Maybe it's twenty minutes meditation meditation app. Maybe it's taking tiny for a walk around your neighborhood and doing some lunches behind her stroller and going like i made an opposite small opposite swing from feeling guilty about that little brunch. And then that way you're not really allowing that pendulum ball to go to a binge space. What what. I love about everything that you just said. Is that it completely ties into your brand and what you're all about and it's not just you know i love that. You're you're you're instagram name. Be well by. Kelly and your book is called body love. Because it's it's not this. It's not beef it by kelly. It's not get ripped kelly. I like big belly when i love you. Just you're promoting Wellness and like you said just even taking time to to meditate for twenty minutes or It's promoting a healthy lifestyle. That's not just what you're eating. It's also coming from within. You know. that's what i think about. When i think of the word wellness i think a whole being. You know embody love. i mean. that's that's the thing that that a lot of people struggle struggle with whether You know your guy or a girl. There's there's comparison out there all time. We're thinking about what we're always doing wrong instead of what we're doing right but what i love is that you have made this program. That's so balanced and that you yourself are living that out and you're living proof that that it works and i think it's just it's really encouraging for anyone who feels like they're very far away from their goals you know. Maybe you have packed on a lot of weight and you don't know what to do or where to go. I love that your brand and what you're about in your book are about encouraging people in steps like you said if you can make a small step back if you can just gain a little bit of ground by doing something every day something small. I feel like that's what everybody's looking for. Whether we're you know seven to weeks from our goals or were two years a lot of people just get discouraged. And they're like what do i do now and i. I love that it's about treating yourself right. It's about walking this thing out in a practical way and i think that you're just gonna continue to thrive. It's so so awesome. And i love. If you guys haven't read kelly's book it's called body love you gotta get to check it out is changing people's lives kelly's changed our lives. Might my mom like she's obsessed with you. She is literally my mom. Thank me for saying her age. I think she's fifty four. She looks thirty five. She works out all the time and she eats very healthy pretty balanced and she was struggling and she goes. Oh my god she call she steve. I lost five pounds. I said wow what will would you do differently. Because she's so strict she goes. I started doing the bureau by kelly and it just it just motivators age in any woman guy of any age can do this program and it's just. It's incredible because it works. Kelly something we always ask our guests is. What's good in your life right now. Whether that's any exciting things you have coming up. Obviously a baby on the way In exciting projects or anything like that that you can sort of tease or share. Sure so it's been a pretty big year. I am pregnant. I'm due october for it. So little libra baby two days after my birthday. I know i'm actually fingers crossed for ten to so so that's really exciting. We don't know what we're having. So that's even more exciting you for waiting. Yeah and second I'll take maternity leave and hang with the little peanut and then january on my second book comes out. It's called body love every day and so what it does is breaks down the fab four different lifestyles on the go. So say on an airplane all the time. And you're like how do i take a protein bars an airport. Or how should they pack my bag. Or what do i need How should i attack my bachelor weekend..

"I told her i was like okay. Dad's gonna take you al. We're gonna go to the park. we're going to hang out. It was midday finish work. You know we all hit the law where you're just like gulf on. Can we take a nap. But i said no sir. We don't have time for that. Because i told her. I was going to take her to the park. And my promises right so We were out. And i was like okay. I need something to boost me man. I need some energy right now. So i stopped and you got a starbucks. Triple shot energy you guys. Have you ever had one of these man. It's great it packs a punch. It's like exactly what i needed. It's it's like that starbucks coffee hit but with like a little rural like extra possess little boost of energy. You guys I really loved to is trying to do so many sugary things. But i i really like having flavor they have really great flavors bonilla. dark rose. Cafe mocha caramel. But the nice thing is is. They've got the zero sugar ones and so opted in for that they actually have a vanilla zero sugar and so i tried that and i thought it was really good. It gave me like the energy that i needed to go play with a three year old at the park. If you know what. I'm talking about all the dads out there. Just raise their hands But guys if you're looking for something to give you a little extra boost of energy you need to pick me up. You need to get going with your day. Check out starbucks triple shot energy. What gives you energy finder starbucks triple shot energy online or at your local store guys. If you're listening this is not just diet for women i have. It's it's a program. I should stop saying diet. It's a program that really really works. I've put several of my friends on. It told them about it. Guys that work out. You know a lot of guys think. Oh you know to be this macho guy gotta eat all this no it. Yeah it's a program that's well balanced and that's what i love about it and also if you're somebody's listening and you're thinking well i don't i'm not really into being a workout junkie or You know. I'm not looking to to change the way that i eat and a drastic way. Like i said this is just so well balanced and it's so relatable and it's so applicable to just everyone's life i feel like it's the way that everyone should eat. It's the only program i feel. That has really worked for me. We've put your mom onto it. We've put our sister onto it. Anyone that i know who's been doing. Your program has said. Oh my gosh. I've tried so many things before this and nothing worked or it was too much. I couldn't keep up. I didn't want to deprive myself anymore. So i quit but your program literally everything you just said. It makes sense from the science element to the practical. Let's be real element of you're going to a party and you might want the glass of rosa but something that you've done to that helped me in the beginning because it really is kind of slowly. Changing your mindset baby steps kind of thing but you have these smoothies that have just really helped and i told you i said i'm not a breakfast person. So how do i. How do i do a fab. Four meal when. I'm just not always hungry and you told me it was okay for me to wake up in the morning on an empty stomach and work out and then have a smoothie after. Explain your fat four smoothies because they are really like a meal in the form of a smoothie which a lot of people say that with smoothies they don't fill me up like yours does and it's good thank you Yeah so the fab. Four smoothie includes the fab four. So you the greatest part about it is that you can be vegan. Or you can be paleo or kito and it fits every lifestyle. It's finding your protein. I so let's say you're using a collagen protein because you're paleo or using pea protein because you're vegan like pickup protein powder that you like this will dictate the flavor of your smoothies. So it's important to find when you really like vanilla chocolate as a base And then from there in about twenty grams which should be the serving of your protein powder. Okay then you want to add fat so one to two tablespoons of fat. That could be almond butter. Maybe your chocolate almond butter girl. Or maybe it's avocado and you use the vanilla protein base in. You're going for a super green avocado creamy kind of ice cream. Great so healthy fats. Include anything from any kind of nut butter. Any you know avocado. I have someone who does a chocolate smoothie who can get fancy whatever coconut oil coconut yogurt things of that nature then we add a fiber so wanted two tablespoons of fiber. That's chia that's flax acacia. Fiber this creates thickness in your smoothie and it slows down the digestion of your smoothie so smoothies a lot of times all fruit i go into places from i. Mean name is juice l. a. and i normally can't find a ones movie on the menu that follows the fab four. Yeah my brothers in texas or like weird smoothies today. And i was like you into jamba juice. I'm sorry but everything on their menu is fruit. Yeah and it's using like two cups at once and they feel like they're being healthy and i'm like a for effort but no boys no more sugar than coca cola. So it's that protein fat fiber and then green so handful of leafy greens and i have over fifty recipes in my book. Body love that came out last week last year last week. C. brain was actually say. Your book has a number of recipes from your smoothie recipes to some of your favorite fab four meals. Your book has literally changed. Lives you know. And i know that might sound dramatic. But it's not a gimmick. Her book has changed so many lives even especially for us and the people close to us in our life For someone who doesn't know where to start. Tell us sort of the secret. And you talk about this book but tell us the secret for living a well-balanced healthy life because you're so human in real and i love that year not like this coach that walks in here like i don't ever cheat meal you know your real. So what is the secret there for about healthy life. Yeah you know. I think a lot of times people kind of go off on binges and they go on vacation and they eat their face off and they feel bad about themselves and that gil leads them to want to cleanse or do something really drastic. And that's a lot of people you know and that's hard because as we get older. The binging gets worse in the cleansing gets worse which means we start packing on the pounds. Become a little bit more inflamed and we start getting diagnosed with disease states. And so for me. It's like if we can if we can create a little more balanced even when we're away we won't need to cleanse when we get home and so that takes little tips and tricks. I say work on a third of the day so with all my clients. I'm always like even if they're on vacation. You're in the south of france you're in hawaii. You're skiing whatever. Can you eat a clean balanced out for breakfast. I because.

"And you want your blood sugar to be balanced and old science would tell us that to balance your blood sugar. You need to eat five to six small meals a day because your blood sugar will go up and down every three hours so instead of letting you crash. Let's just give you a snack. You up and take you down. Give you a snacker another meals and you take you down. My whole philosophy is. Let's eat me a meal. That is a little slower to digest but fuels you at a nice rate so fiber and greens are a type of carbohydrate. Non starchy vegetables broccoli. Asparagus you know your favorites cauliflower cucumber carrots. Whatever it is. Those are a form of carbohydrates that are wrapped in fiber right. Congestion is slow. So we're actually elongating. Your blood sugar curb so you feel full and calm between lunch and dinner without crashing. And when you don't crash you don't crave you don't grab for those bad foods. You don't need a cookie or brownie or piece of bread to bring yourself back up and so all of a sudden you notice that your naturally making those healthier choices without forcing yourself to eat that way. And i think what when someone's on a diet and maybe they look in there like i'm having poached chicken and steamed broccoli like great good for you but i'm going to be hungry into our Is going to feel like a diet. And if all the sudden you're letting me make that a chicken burger lettuce wrapped with guacamole and some garlicky roasted broccoli on the side. that's a completely different experience. it's emotional it's it calms you physically and the best part about it is. It's what your cells need. So we're constantly breaking down and rebuilding ourselves ourselves or made a protein and fat on the fiber and greens feature gut microbiome. "Oh gosh yeah. Here's the here's the thing you need to understand. When you go into that study about meets like cured meats it's actually changing the percentage from five percent to six percent if you eat bacon every single day so the overall change is twenty percent from five to six percent. But he's actually only a one percent overall change so that's a scary headline to read right so it's really. It was empowering for me to be able to get in there get dirty with the research and say like okay cool. That's not really that big of a deal. I'm not gonna freak out. I'm not gonna change my whole life over this. I'm going to enjoy a piece of bacon or by some good stuff. When i really feel like i want it and not be overwhelmed by it. So one of my best friends always telling my friends how to eat. How you ever to bacne wanna lose five pounds before kabo ready for their wedding you name. It sounds like me. I was sort of like they were always like little tips and trim and one of my best friends was just like that angela. And she she. And i were walking around the brentwood country mart. One day and she's like what are you doing dude. Just go back to school. I go back to school. Started as a side hustle. See like do it for free anyway so like see if you could help some people so the first half a dozen people i worked with i worked with for free And then i just started going to a lot of wellness events and went back to school. Starting my business put up a a website and then eventually those six pro bono clients referred me to twelve paid clients and those twelve referred me to twenty four others. Ill my sort of just web doubt to the point where september twenty fifteen was the first time i took this business time. Actually yeah so. That was way way after. I met you guys cancer and genetics that you watch which is crazy because we met her at the bay club member and the resort in san diego. You know what. I what i love about. That is that. I found in the last even couple years. Is that after getting out of out of school for awhile. And having a few years you you start realizing new i feel like passions and opportunities that you could explore an and most of us are scared to explore them like for me. If i were to go back in time i would go get you know probably like my real estate license because i love it and i never thought i mean three years ago. I never thought i would do that. But it's kind of one of those things where people are looking for a house or like steve. Can you start looking for an apartment and i. Oh let me look for you in like you said you were giving people advice for free and friend was like dude. What are you doing you need to do this. And so i love that. You had the courage to just kind of follow your passion. You know what i mean and see it through and now have such good success. And i wanna talk about how we you know. I met you because we met you at this event over the weekend. And i remember you saying that. You did health and wellness and in coaching. And all of that and i was like man. That's what says ninety because out here. He goes throwing shane. Okay says when we we were engaged and when we first met this chick just had the most ratchet diet like she she would just because she's a work she would forget to eat all day. Yeah and then she would eat one meal at night and just binge and it would be whatever it was bad fast food or sometimes maybe she would have a slightly healthy meal. But i remember being like you're eating patterns are crazy like this isn't good. You need to eat breakfast and you need lines you know like you need to just have like normal eating cycle and remember when we came to actually have a first consultation with you Just getting as there was a big accomplishment for me. But i was. What's the point. I'm fine i'm skinny. I'm good. I can eat fast food three times a day. A boy but sassa just come to the point where she was starting to think about her health in a serious way. She started working out and wanted to see results. And so. I remember when we came to you. It was the information that you gave us. it was so it was just so pro life changing. I mean that's a simple way. I feel like to put it for. I mean. I grew up in a house where i food. You didn't look at it as something that you should be weary about or feel guilty about so for me. I never accounted calories. Paid attention to what was in my diet. And but i noticed it was the was the opposite for you. Mom has always been like super strict with her diet and i was always feeling bad about what he says. And i had this crazy imbalanced going on between the two of us. And i know that when i moved to la just started being slowly but surely a little bit more aware. And i started working out. 'cause i fell in love with spin classes this cycle. How's it going. I was just now starting it. I was getting obsessed with it. But then i was noticing. Like oh my gosh. I'm just not. I still feel so bloated like something's not adding up. I'm working out so hard. But i i just was not paying attention to the diet part and such a huge part of it so i remember that consultation with like it was yesterday you absolutely and i think the thing was that changed the game for both of us and what made sense and clicked. Is that like we were talking about earlier. It wasn't it's not like you put us on a diet. It's not like your program is saying like oh you're going on this diet people would start asking us. After we started doing the fab four there were like would dirty on. I was like well. You know it's actually not really a diet. It's actually kind of a lifestyle. How long you've been doing. I've been doing it for like two months now. And i feel great. I feel good i feel like i'm depriving myself. I never feel bad. I feel i just feel balanced. And i feel like it's something that's actually practical for a real lifestyle and that's what's missing. I feel like from the diet game. I think there's so many gimmicks out there like you said you know people like don't you bake in or you know it's like i cannot watch netflix documentaries about food health because it freaks me out and people are just a little overwhelmed with like. Where do i start. And i want you to kind of tell us about your incredible fab for diet because for a dummy walking into that consultation i knew nothing about it and you explained it to me in a way that made sense in the whole thing about like the process like your body processing carbs distorted fat visual you painted for me. Can you kind of talk a little bit about that for anyone out there right now. Maybe isn't that same place. I was like four and a half years ago. Sure so i the fab. Four in is a positively reinforcing plan. So it isn't about deprivation is about is not about what you can't eat you don't have to look at a pdf and we just touched on that. The fab four is looking at your plate and looking for four things. Do you have a source of protein. Do you have source of fat. Is their fiber on your plate and are there leafy greens on your plate. So the reason that. I have and prioritize these four things is that protein fat fiber in greens shutdown over eight hunger. Hormones in your body so when it comes to eating a meal you want to feel full com fueled and relaxed after it.

"Leveque kelly so awesome. Have you thanks for being here. Guys is such a pleasure to be here. I mean we've been friends since the beginning of beulah by kelly. So i know it's been a while since we've seen you. I feel like the last time i saw you as that. Your oh my god. it's crazy. It was her book release party. It was like a launch party. And i was probably seven months pregnant. The tummy teeny was in the tummy. And i remember. I looked at you and i was like winter. You're going to be pregnant. And she was literally like well. We're trying so we'll see what happens and look you're pregnant now and you're glowing. I mean she's going naturally but her glow is on another level. I want to ask you just want to start off by asking you. How has it been being in your field doing what you do being pregnant you know with all like like okay when sascha pregnant the first six weeks under a bus ie am because she was on the most strict like diet you know she was fab four. She was working out hardcore when she found that she was bragging. She goes she goes. I can't work out anymore steve. Get me a coke. Get me some pickles. And go to in and out. And i'm just like oh god switch here. How crazy is that though it is it is weird like the cravings that pop up or you know the changes in the way that you feel if you feel tired or nauseous. I definitely found myself walking into rooms being like why am i here and so it becomes a little bit difficult to prioritize the things like wellness in your life but i feel like i've lived it for so long that even a slight departure wasn't i wasn't off the reservation. You know i wasn't driving through mcdonald's times when you know i don't eat a bunch of dairy. I think that there's flexibility around area like goats sheeps cheeses and stuff. But i grew up cottage cheese and every single time. Chris went to the grocery store i was like. Can you gotta gee guilty yashar you going like spoon into cottage bowl. Yeah like salt-and-pepper from the fridge all just love hearing that from you kelly. Because you really. Are this obviously incredible. Celebrity health coach to so many stars and so many people like us. But it's so humbling to hear that you're a normal person and you have moments where you cave and that kind of brings us to the conversation of how you got started in this health and wellness world. You said it's a huge part of just who you are and your lifestyle so kinda. Give us the back story on how. This all started before buell by kelly. Sure i would say my favorite class in high school was health with coach rap. He's a volleyball coach but he taught health at my high school. And i loved it. I felt really inspired. I wanted to learn the content. It was the first time. I really felt that way. And i'd always been A math and science brain over english and grammar and all that so it felt comfortable for me and then when i went to usc for undergrad. My dad was a business major there and so i just sort of followed in his footsteps oldest of three girls he was a trojan. We had twenty seven relatives. That were trojans like i didn't think about going to a different college or doing a different major and then my senior year took all of my biochem nature of human health and disease called my dad and tears sick. I should have been premed. His horrible. I wanna stay another year. I want to change my major. And he's like well. That's fine if you wanna pay your college tuition. You're more than welcome to stay. So i actually ended up doubling up on classes. We made an agreement. I doubled up on classes. I gotta concentrate concentration in human nature of human health and disease and so then. I spent an eight year career in cancer and genetics out of college. So i know that about you. Yeah that's crazy. Yeah no. I paired my business degree with with new technology so i was teaching oncologists and the cancer space from cedar sinai to all the eight west coast states here on the united states. I had a team of eight reps and was working with them and we basically took new genetic technology and we represent the science to on college and teach them how to use it in their practice. Are you kidding me right now. Dr dr kelly. No no always just been the support. Let's get that straight for. The dogs support. Says this is worth the blogger support. The i was going to capture. Drought kelly phd. Yeah maybe i mean. I love school. If it's something. I wanna learn about you know a window sort of turning point happened for you when you realize you wanted to be support coach and start. Be well by kelly. Well what's so interesting is in my career. All i did was read research scientific research in regards to cancer genetics and biology and so i was able to kind of go into public medical research and look at nutrition studies so instead of reading. Someone's blog about a tip in a trick. I would see you know a usa today. Article come out or new york times article come out and it would reference a study and then i would just go read the study because a lot of times people will take a headline and make it..

"Hey fam- i've got to tell you all fun fact about me now when it comes to my home just keeping up with the house in ensuring that everything is just in its proper place in one of those areas recently that i've actually become more obsessed with his laundry. I always used to hate doing laundry. When i was single. But now that i'm married and i'm sort of like keeping track of everyone's clean clothes from dirty clothes. I have genuinely loved the process of doing laundry especially nowadays with so many great products out there to ensure that you are getting the most out of every load of laundry that you do. So i wanna tell you guys about oxy clean. You guys probably seen so many of their commercials. I mean oxy clean is like one of the most awesome brands ever when it comes to getting the job done in doing it right. When i discovered that they have their oxytocin clean white revived laundry. Whitener in stain remover. I definitely wanted to have that up in my laundry cabinet especially because we are always on the go in my house and that means we get. Dirty stains are inevitable in our house and and on our sheets two because having a new baby around. Let's just say amari. It's had a little bit too much fun and the blowout category. You feel me. Anyways it's been my go-to product for laundry whitening and stain removal it. Just i dunno. It just maintains the brilliant whites and revives any like the dingy whites have to just keep them looking fresh so that i have to throw away a white piece of clothing. The second sustain.

"You're inside in feeding yourself with the good things and that's where our good friend. Kelly really has come into our lives and played a huge role because i think it was when we met kelly when we finally had a healthier mindset like she has a way of explaining things. That's like crazy weird. We figured out how to how to find balance. And i think that's the most important thing in a lot of the times. It just starts with practicality. The practicality of eating balanced meals led to a more. I feel like a balanced state internally for us you know We weren't starting to feel bad about you know. I wasn't feeling bad about. If i wanted to eat a little. Something here there. I just felt more balanced and at ease and i. I really wanted to talk about that today. Because i don't want this episode to be confused with like i said being ripped or you know or or being the healthiest you all of that in eating you know just like boring meals in that kind of stuff i. I wanted to talk about that. Because i feel like wellness and health overall starts within you know and then you make those choices after that and i feel like you have to love yourself before you can do. I love the. I love the scripture. In psalms one thirty nine that says i have fearfully and wonderfully made. That is something if you feel like crap about yourself whether it's internally whatever i suggest you write that on a post it note and just stick it all over your house and your car and just when you see that to remind yourself you know we all come from different walks of life all different. Our bodies all different. Nobody looks the exact same. Even identical twins don't have the same body types and i think it's important to know that health plays a big part of living a good well balanced life but we all experienced seasons of poor health and seasons of good health. And there's obstacles that you have to overcome your journey. And i think the thing that drives us to those unhealthy places. Mentally says is is if i had to boil it down. What drove me to be insecure. When i moved out here was comparison. There's always gonna be somebody better looking than you smarter. Gear the most good-looking person out here and we pause personas repeat. Repeat that for a few minutes. Oh that's sweet. No but there's always going to be so am better looking than you. somebody smarter. Somebody's always going to have more in some category than you and so it's not about being perfect. It's about being your best. You and i love the quote from theodore roosevelt. That says comparison is the thief of joy. That's good and now with access to social media like that we that we have on. Everyone's i phone any time of the day. You can start comparing yourself to an instagram model. An actor your friend when you start comparing yourself to whoever maybe the life that they're living and that's not gonna do anything for you. That's actually going to eat away at your soul. And so i just wanna encourage you guys. If you are comparing yourself whether it's in your body you're in another way to be feeding your soul whether feeding yourself. Good food to feel healthy you should be feeding your soul taking time out to appreciate yourself and i feel like it starts with gratitude. Zig ziglar said you know An attitude gratitude starts with your attitude and vice versa. I feel like being grateful for just even yourself your body your mind who you are. The way you were made likes asset in psalm says your what is a wonderfully fearfully made and that's just so important to remember guys says i have to remind ourselves daily because you can compare yourself. We have our own struggles you know. I said everyone who comes has different body types. From me i always grew up naturally. Thin sometimes too thin and i was eating and i didn't know why wouldn't gain weight and for st. He's had this knee injury. Which we've shared with you know our online family publicly over the past year just talking a little bit about that and it's really been challenging for us at times to find our own personal routine that works but today we are going to help you guys if you're out there and you're like you know what i wanna to do it the right way but where do i start are starting point was when we met kelly so we thought it would be great to have her on the show and to help us break these stereotypes about being healthy and that healthy means you have to look a certain way. Because it's not about that it ain't about the six pack it ain't about the perfect hips and the curves and all it's not about that it's this internal health. Are you going to tell to the governator. What in the world was. That was a really bad attempt to do arnold schwarzenegger you guys second. You made it sound like that. Was kelly like they're like whoa. Is kelly a dude justice guy who likes to work please god. That's so good. It's so good it's so bad. I can't all right you guys but first serious kelly bestselling author. She has written a book called body love. It's an inspiring book on how to live a balanced life. Way which you want and free yourself from food drama forever. She's a dear friend. She's a prego mama right now. And she is crushing. The health games celebrity clients include a jessica alba jennifer garner chelsea handler. Goes on my mom and your own. Let's bring in kelly. "Maybe you're at work and you should be working but you're listening to us and said working time because it burns calories yes whatever you are doing right now in the comfort of your own home whatever it is we welcome you to another episode of the good life with stevens stuck it out through that freestyle and stick it out through every freecell every week. I just wanna say thank you and commend you for not giving up on your boy steve. Because as we all know. I was home schooled before we actually get into our episode for reals. I want to address something with you last night. Okay when i got in bed and year-old over and said can you can't get night. Oh god what are you about to say. Well i was going in for the smooch. And why i was bombed by the smell of sulfur. What hard boiled eggs had been sitting on the counter. Such a hater. He how deng he's not referring to me farting in bed by the way. Okay he's referring to me enjoying a little face mask and you're hater was okay. Here's the thing if a face mask smells like that. Why are you putting it on your face because sulfur is really good to dry out. Acne and i've been having lately. But i had a little bit of pips popping up on my face so i had to do the things math. This was after. I rinse it off by the way so he was really trying to get up close and personal. I didn't ask you to sniff my face and you're like why don't you wanna kiss me. That's like putting cow poop on your face. And i love me is not going to happen. It wasn't cow poop. But i will say sometimes the things that smell the worst are actually because they're organic and they're good for you and they're healthy. I'm not gonna the brand on blast but this facemask. I swear by. It doesn't smell good. That's good for you working out so next time. I come in the crib with a sweaty nasty shirt on. And i'm like give me a hug. You better arms up okay. Fine whatever you know that's actually really good segue into today's topic of our show today date. It's all about living in good health whether it's a good face fast or paying attention to what you're putting in your body that's kind of what today show is that's kind of what today show is about. That's what i meant. And we've got wellness tips from our good friend. Who's a celebrity health holistic. Kelly leveque ac- know is the frigging bomb. You guys you're gonna love this interview with kelly. She has such a wealth of knowledge. Your life end my life. She's changing everyone's lives. We're all changed. The best thing is is that it's real in it's applicable so if you think that this episode isn't for you just stick around listen to a kelly has to say i mean she's really changed the way i operate on a day-to-day basis. It's not a diet is a lifestyle you know it's true. I think if we kind of just briefly touch on who stevie. And i were before before we met kelly man. If only you guys was the queen. No no i said. Why don't you tell them about you. Tell them about you. I'll tell them about okay. The queen of the late night burger. Run this chick was popping up in and out between eleven. Thirty and midnight every freak. I'm talking about five days out of the and this was the only meal of the day it's like she would forget to eat. I was like what. Did you remember how i was like. It's eleven thirty year. Impersonations of me drive me insane. I do not sound like boy off me out star in that movie. Is anybody know that reference chris farley come on guys look it up. Layoff me again heavyweight. Snl skit with like antler guys. That's that's a deep track but Saz was like crazy imbalanced diet and then and then let me. Let me say this. I was kind of the other way. I moved to l. a. An actor and my first managers like bro on you'd be rip dog and i was like well amid pretty good shape up talking about six pack. Big shoulders bro. So do these crazy fast and stuff and he would just do these drastic changes in his diet and then on the other side of the spectrum where i would eat fast food three times a day and i didn't think it was a bad thing because i've always been naturally thin but boy little. Did i know that there was just all kinds of jenkins happening inside of me and i travel south lots. I'm going to take us opportunity to troll myself guys that it's all equal here the good life your boy. Do you remember. Says when i went and met with my manager. And he's like. Is you get shredded up. So i was doing these diets and i went and got this. Pre-workout called c. four. Which i don't take pre-workout in harm none of those guys i took this pre-workout called c. Four okay and it has created in it and somebody warned me they like. Make sure you drink a lot of water. 'cause that create team and i was frigging a camel. I was lapping up water. Every every chance. I got but because of this i got hemorrhoids and his. But you see we told you we're going to be honest with you and that's the only place you can get. You're in so much pain. I felt so bad so anyways. We're not living a well balanced life. It was either being like super crazy. Like i'm gonna be healthy but actually not being trying to find shortcuts. So for me when i finally decided. Okay i wanna be a little bit healthier. I need to quit eating bad. I was like well. What's the quickest way. I can figure out how to be healthy and i feel like though shortcuts for me included like looking into those crazy like body sculpting techniques that they have nowadays where you can literally transfers that and i remember thinking like wait. Is that like a shortcut. Like is that really a thing. I actually considered for literally one minute. And then you're like. Are you crazy. And i was like yeah. I am crazy and then. There's those documentaries out there now on netflix and stuff which even to this day i watch one of those things and it puts me check like whoa do. I not need to be eating that. And then i sometimes drastically needed to change it. I think that a lot of people don't know that about us is that we both went through. We've both been through episodes and times where we really lost. Sight of what was actually healthy. And what was actually good for us. And what would give us the sense of wellness. Because i think it started from within you know not just what we were eating but i thought i think it started with our mentality moving to la you especially in the industry. If you're acting you're in your singer you're just in front of people. Basically you're constantly comparing yourself i. I didn't feel so insecure about myself. Until i moved to la. I never really questioned anything about myself. I was just felt. Like i was just a normal dude and when i moved to la and started acting You know i started comparing myself with all these guys at the auditions like man. This this guy is ripped like my manager said like what. If i don't get the part and i started thinking that there was there was something wrong with me and i. I think that's what you know. The issue was is that. I didn't have a strong sense of of myself and appreciating and loving. Just me as i as i was. You're sharing that you know from a male perspective. I feel like a lot of guys. Wouldn't say that out loud. Because i feel like with women with me specifically i've experienced the whole insecurity something about la That makes you feel like all of your securities and flaws are under a microscope and this is a city where everyone's very aware on the outside of what you look like. What kind of car you drive you know or your nails did like and i love that. Today's episode is not around this topic of how to look fit how to look completely ripped in your life. It's.

"My dream was to be like mothra girl. One of the most through twitter. Yes but but but you know. I'm learning more now in adulthood about all these comic book characters. But every time i get one of these characters. It's it's fun. It's fun for me to to learn about them and and And be able to to bring them to life But oftentimes. I have to admit when i when i get on dishes and stuff i have to call my comic book. Nerd friends for the background stories on these characters and and sometimes i get fooled because i remember going in for for X. men and playing Doing the audition. Of course they didn't tell me that i was playing lady strike in the audition. They told us they had us. Read some sides for the audition which had nothing to do with the character I thought i was auditioning for the role of some red headed Reporter and i'm asking my friends. Do you know who this character is. And they gave me the whole rundown the whole everything about it and then you know come to find out. I was playing a whole other character. So there's like who is this strike. I had no idea but But yeah these. These rules are always super funds to research and and and read about then and I've always got these These comic book Friends who are like total comic book nerds. You're always far more excited than when i get the news. I think you had like one line at dialogue. Is you know his strike. And and she's and she's certainly need a manicure to. "We couldn't get his permission. So. We name it like Papa. Papa. Jan jan. All right. So are Kelly. We've spoken about R Kelly. I find are Kelly to be first of all very interesting foil to what's going on with Michael Jackson. Because people have no problem accepting the reports, the allegations documentaries about our Kelly. Everybody takes that at face value. You know, we've all kind of come together and said, you know, what our Kelly's kind of eft up, dude, let's not support him anymore. Michael Jackson is different the people the the amount of defending and not just well, it's one thing to defend Michael Jackson. But there's there's an active campaign. It's this really vicious very vicious people who do not like differing opinions. It's just it's a reminder to like how huge Michael Jackson people love like. Yeah. Really nothing else even comparable, right? And all the maybe the thing is it's like all the Beatles. Squeezed into one person. Right. That's true. Right. One super Sol him, he's a one man show. Right. And he's got this story of being a victim. People don't want to think that this person could do horrible stuff. I didn't want to for a long time. I was like listen away. Yeah. Certainly me too. I was always on the fence with Michael Jackson. But before we get into that. Let's first talk about our Kelly because he was in the news. He did his first interview since you know, being accused and people started cancelling his shows and. Taking them off the radio. There was a documentary about it. The was the catalyst for all this again, an interesting foil to Michael Jackson who was a great documentary. What was it called leaving? Or or know something about surviving aren't there, yet surviving or Kelly? It was fantastic documentary. Basically alleging that he has a harm really of girls living with him. Who again, they're not being chained up. But they're being manipulated. They're being I mean brainwashed for lack of a better word. So it's not like they can't go walk out. But there's it's abuse. It's so certainly abuse. There's no question about it. But at any rate, I mean, it's hard to explain the, but go ahead and watch this clip where he's defending himself for me. My crazy passing what I've been through. Oh, right now, I just think I need to be lost and hold girls against a wheel chain them up in my basement. And and don't let them eat and don't let them out unless they need some shoes down the street from the ankle, Eddie Murphy. He's acting. It sounds. It's like Eddie Murphy bit is that is that some detail in the story that I'm unaware of such a weird aside. And I don't recall them ever saying he chained anyone up either. You know, what I mean like that's part of kind of. Yeah. It's like, wait. What is what he does is? He makes every anecdote more extremes. It'd be like, oh, I never did that making a mockery of it by like, yeah. Make it so crazed so hyperbolic that it's obviously. Yeah. But people nobody believes are Kelly. So it's kind of. Didn't do this stuff. This is not a fighting for my life. No. John oppression. Me. I have not about mill. Relationship who Marquette's can't do it. The sound guys like toad. I have the flu. I've got the mic on his chest keeps slamming the song is like, oh, God I've seen people even give this news channel shit for giving him any airtime. Wow. And I know fair let the guys week. Let's hear him out. I mean, if anything he's so volatile. Yeah. This set it just goes to show that, you know, behind closed doors as what I I mean, the guy's got a temper clearly dogs. Doc, just don't. Believe it at this point, we briefly pause..
