"On true characters, potentially. But they just lean into it. Like what was really there at the time instead of trying to hide it or to talk about it or talk around it. So that's a good example of kind of doing that right from having Christianity at the center. Yeah. You know, not it's not preachy. That's the thing. These stories isn't to say, hey, you need to be this. It's just, hey, here's a story about something that happened. What can you learn from it? And this is through this character is. Because of it, yes. So I was thinking that as I was watching this, I'm like, oh, I see the parallels there, especially similar timeline kind of 9th century when the Vikings were really in their heyday and they were attacking anyone and everyone around that area. So because I'd recommend, I would recommend over the book of kells I would recommend the last kingdom. I think you'll really enjoy it. Okay. It's very good. So there you go. I think a lot of Christians when they create movies, everything is a little bit. They feel like the need to be a little bit over in the preacher side, which makes for a bad story. Because nobody really wants to be no matter what your ideology is, no one wants to be preached to. Like hard stop, stop. But as a character development tool, there's these aspects of being able to look at humanity as a whole. And this is something that we end up doing. We as characters in life want, we have goals and we have a desire and we have a vision of reality and that is how we act and react in all situations. And so I guess what I'm saying is there is, as you were saying, there's ways to do it without being preachy. Yeah, yeah, with the last kingdom as well. The main character, who tried son of Utrecht, he works with he's a Viking, but he ends up having to work with the king of England. And he is very, he has his pagan Viking religion. And so there's that as well where they're trying to convert him. There's people in his life who are converting and it's always just this thing that he is true to and the king is true too, and there are things that are at odds and very, very interesting. I think a lot of people would really enjoy it. Yeah, cool. There you go. That is our discussion of the secret of kells with a little bit of the less kingdom of the very end. Both very enjoyable. I'm glad I saw this movie. You know what? I finally get to see what was all the hype about. Yeah. Didn't quite see it, but could appreciate the artistry. Yeah. I mean, just like thief and the cobbler, I am not going to go back and rewatch the conflict. Just because it's like, oh, the story hurts. It just hurts. But the artistry is something that I will never forget. Really such a shame that we never got that final finished. I know. Richard Williams, the thief and the cobbler. But you know what? Maybe that was the legacy. That is the legacy that it was this long drawn out thing. It was this epic, amazing, could have been, what could have been right? Kind of a tragic story, but that is the legacy, you know? Yeah. All right, let us know your thoughts on the secret of kells. Go to rotoscopers dot com slash two 6 one. "Just like reading a picture book to a child who can't read. And when you look at the people of the time of 900s AD the near dealing with the people who haven't had, is this dark ages, you know? So it is like reading to a child who can't read. And so you are focusing a lot more on the pictures. But even still, having the connection of this is something that we still revere today. We still have echoes of this in our life today and see how this has made a difference in your life. You're able to emotionally connect to the story way more than just, it's a book with pretty pictures. I don't know. I'm really conflicted with this movie. I just feel like by not wanting to dig into the meat, you're really just leaving a lot to be desired. Yeah, it stinks because there was a lot to this. I think the fairy girl could have maybe been more there. But maybe not. Maybe she was appropriately there, and this was Brendan's story. I think Brandon did have a good little arc. You know, we got to see him, you know, he was not really given any leeway. He was behind the palace gates. Behind the Abbey gates the whole time, you know, and then he does kind of escape and he does good for the book and for why does this matter? Why is he doing this for the book? That would have been better. You know, and he gets the eye and then he gets the berries and they are able to then they leave. He gets older, they complete the book, and he comes back and he was able to do something really cool with his life, you know? Yeah, he has an arc. You know, he does do stuff. Yeah. But would have liked more. He doesn't stay and defend the Abbey, but that's not what he's called to do. He's to protect the book at all costs, right? Yeah. But why? Again, it's just why does the book matter? Right. Well, edits like if you wanted to dig into the lore, 'cause you have chrome cock, especially if you know that the people who revered and worshiped this pagan God were sacrificing babies, then you also understand the death that comes around. This belief system even. And so they could have really leaned into that more and brought more of that to the surface, maybe. Maybe they thought that they would muddy the waters, but it's hard not to when you're looking at the reality of the story. And some people would be like, oh, well, that's just because you're looking at it from a very specific point of view of the Christian person who went in and took over the area. I'd love a blah blah blah. I don't care. You're looking at the fact that these people were killing babies. No. I am not a relativist, meaning there is right and wrong and killing babies. I like sacrificing on an altar and all these things. It's just not okay. So I don't think that it will ever be emotionally compelling to just not want to take a side in anything. Yeah. Agree. I don't know what else to say about this movie. I liked. Yeah. I liked the art. I would love to see a book of the art of kells. I would love to see that in addition to the actual book health. You see that. That will be on our list of things to go see when we go. Yes, absolutely. It's so apparently it was, it's been kind of broken up into four volumes instead of the one big book and there's a library in Ireland that does at any point in time have, you know, one of the volumes. Available for viewing. So you can see the art and everything about it. It was pretty cool. Yeah, definitely if you ever go to Ireland, you gotta do your research. You know, I think if you're going to visit a place, you know, unlike a movie, you gotta do your research and be prepared so that way you can enjoy the experience that much more learning on the go or while you're there. Sure, that's great, but be able to fully understand everything that you're going to be doing, I think that's important. So if I were ever to go to Ireland, I'd be research and reading all sorts of books about the history of Ireland and this and that and really make the most out of my trip. I mean, I like the fact that they tried to bring in all of the aspects of it because even the paganistic rituals and things that it does color the landscape and to know more about it is to know more about it and to be able to say I appreciate how this culture has shifted over time and where everything, all of the influences that make you as a community you. So what would you rate this movie? I would give the movie itself just because I lean so heavily on story that it's hard for me to look at this and really give it that great of a review because it just didn't go anywhere and so I would give it probably two stars but like I said if you're looking at just the art and the artistic endeavor, I mean that's a 5 star. Yeah, so I'm going to give this movie two and a half stars. I love the art and I thought it was very beautiful and viewing this film was very visually appealing and enjoyable. At any time there was any sort of really cool geometric patterns and shapes that they were doing. They had great color palette. I really enjoyed it visually. The music was great too, which I enjoyed the background tracks that they had chosen and the music and the instruments. Yes. I liked that, but and I liked the characters. I feel like they had just a few characters. The character designs were really cool. I loved how each one of the monks there was the big, the big one who was very old had this arch shape to them and he kind of towered over everybody and then there were smaller ones and even just their designs were very geometric. And so it was all it all fit together. And then there's Aiden and the abbot and they kind of have this relationship that's typical. And it would have liked a little more of the abbot to have a little bit more of the reasoning why he was choosing one or the other. But I guess with him, it was just all in on the wall and everything else was being forgotten. And then I loved the new character that came in when Aiden came in and yeah, there's a small group of characters, but they were interesting enough. I just would have liked to have seen maybe a little bit more of the story. I feel like leaning into the Christian element of the book of kells and why it mattered. I mean, there were crosses in this film. It was obvious without kind of being obvious, you know, they're not going to mention Christ or Christianity Christianity, but I feel like that would have been a good thing. I reminded of there's a series on Netflix and it's about the Vikings in England and it's called the last kingdom, and it's very, very good. And in the very first season, the king is very devout and to what his religion to Christianity. Okay. And his religion is the driving force for him and you understand why and you understand what's motivating him and it's real and it's sometimes it's a bit too far how Pius he is. Right. And for that, it just made the first season phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. They lean into, I mean, it's obviously, it's a fiction. Right. Based

"Let's jump into this movie. This movie has been highly requested, so many people have always mentioned, hey, do secret of kells to secrete. For years, yes. The release date was March 3rd, 2009, or you could say February 11th, 2009, it was released in France and Belgium a little bit before. But that was that. The film was directed by Tom Moore and Nora tahnee, and the budget was $8 million and in the box office it did $3.5 million. So not really crazy, not a huge success. I do want to talk about the studio, the studio is cartoon saloon. Now cartoon saloon was founded in 1999. By three founders, Paul young Tom Moore and Nora Swami two of which directed this film, its headquarters in kilkenny, Ireland, and this basically was founded after the three founders, they graduated animation school, secret of kells was the first film that they began working on almost immediately, but it didn't really enter full production until 2005. And like many fledgling studios, they had to take on corporate work and to advertisements in order to keep the studio afloat while they were trying to secure financing for this film. They've done a few things in the advertisement, TV commercial space, and they finally released the film in 2009, and afterwards they got offers to for partners or to be bought out, but they ultimately choose chose to remain independent. So secret of kells was nominated for an Academy Award, it lost two up, but never fear they have continued to do many great things. They have four feature length films, the secret of kells, the song of the sea, the breadwinner and wolf walkers, three of which are part of this Irish folklore trilogy, which they set out to do, which is secretive health song of the sea, and wolf walkers, not wolf wakers. So that's just a little bit about cartoon saloon. I feel like this is a studio that ever since it came on the scene. People were talking about it. They were talking about their films. It wasn't just a really obscure newer, smaller studio. They just always made a big splash. And I think this first film, secret of cows, which are going to be talking about today, was a really, really fantastic film for them for a variety of ways. It really got on a lot of people's radar and really helped to make them a well-known. Well, I wouldn't say a well-known name. But amongst the animation circles, it's well known. Yes, yep. I mean, the average person isn't going to have any idea anything outside of Disney. So we're going to think the DreamWorks is Disney. Right, exactly. Which, you know, give it ten years and maybe they'll buy out DreamWorks as well. Who knows? But I look at cartoon saloon and the total quality that comes out of this studio is just amazing to me. Especially when you mention the budget of only $8 million. Yes, the budget was 8 million, and it didn't grow much more. It didn't really make back its money. Theatrically, but I feel like it was a testament to what can be done today because you still look at all of these other big time studios that are spending 40, 50, $80 million on a movie, and it's just, it doesn't have nearly the amount of public chatter, I guess that you get from this movie. I think a lot of it has to do with the 2D aspect because 2D is not a thing, particularly anymore. Right. And so I think that had its own level that it brought to it, but I looked at a lot of videos behind the scenes. Today and there was one where Thomas more was talking about how, while he and his cohorts were in animation school, they got a hold of a VHS of the thief and the cobbler. He said that it was one of the most transformative experiences watching this movie and seeing what came out of that and because they were able to take Persian art and bring it in and make it just so unbelievably appealing to the eye, he thought maybe we can do this with the Irish culture and with Irish artwork. And so the very first movie that he was thinking of was, okay, what is some of the Irish lore or Irish something that I can put to animation and one of the most famous bits of artwork from Irish culture was the book of kells. And he makes a joke at one point where he was like, oh yeah, we didn't really know exactly how we were going to get it all done and we were just I was just looking at this thinking there's got to be a movie here. There's got to be a movie here and we all joked around saying the kids would come to their moms and say mom, I want to watch the movie about the medieval monks and they're making a manuscript please. That's all I want to see. And he's like, you know, there's a lot of things that we learned through the process and actually getting funding and actually creating a story. To me, it makes a lot of sense. Even watching this, I could see similarities to the thief in the cobbler in style and execution. Oh, absolutely. And to an extent story. We will get to that. They were very much influenced by thief in the cobbler. They said that Richard Williams unfinished masterpiece was always very influential to them and definitely in the art style with a lot of these geometric designs and the symmetry was something that I noticed. Yeah, the backgrounds, you know, people would be standing in a circle and it'll be completed symmetrical and they leave in the same sort of pattern, very visually appealing. Yes. This movie, very intricate, which I think is the book of kells likewise, is that it's basically this manuscript. It has 340 leaf and 680 pages, and it's a Christian book. It has part of the gospels in it. And called an illuminated manuscript, which basically means that it's a manuscript that has all these artistic flourishes to it. So there's going to be very intricate detail and drawings and just designs all around. And if you look at the book, it's just mind-blowing some of the detail that's there. Well, and they used real flakes of gold and silver, which make it illuminated. So it catches the light on it. I decided because after I got done with this movie, honestly, I felt like, am I dumb? Why am I missing something? Because this is and I just feel like I am completely out of touch with what just happened. Because the pacing was really odd to me. I feel like I was missing something. I was just this commoner to dumb to really appreciate the film. I don't know. And then I get to this point where I'm like, I really have to figure out what I just watched because the first half I felt like it was building up to some great fight against this death monster, The Crown crook, which I like to refer to as the death snake monster. I learned about this. It was actually a pagan subject of worship prior to the arrival of Saint Patrick, and the people who worshiped him also had sacrificial rituals where they sacrificed babies. So it was understandable as to why Saint Patrick was so offended by the situation and got rid of any and all of these statues that were dedicated to him. So when you look at in the film, there are these circles of statues, and this was actually going back and referencing that. So in order to really appreciate this movie, you have to go back and learn about Irish culture and Irish history. Because outside of that, it's just, like I said, I feel like a commoner of unable to appreciate anything. But the story, it just felt like it was just building up to his going in and getting this eye from this death monster. And I was like, oh, it's probably going to be very difficult to do that. Nope. Super easy. Barely an inconvenience.

"Yeah, I don't think that happens just because they got the two fight deal and also the one nice thing though for triple G is if he does do the two fight deal and he gets B roll and then gets triple G he's the ultimate free agent. He can do anything and you know that better be able to with ESPN and top rank. You know they're not showing any flexibility to put him in any dangerous fights. I feel like the size of the streets are further away than they've ever been in this era. Like crossing over like the fact that there was even a possibility to get Canelo and Charlotte was only because triple G Canelo is the free agent and can negotiate with anyone. Thank God frees them up to explore all those fights, but I just feel like getting any of those cross promotions at this point, like you said, a million times before, unless it's Pacquiao, Mayweather type money, and it just ain't happening. No one's better be a B of all. We'd better chance of hitting the lottery. Ah, you can't argue. I mean, history has shown it. Unless I draw one in there, unless you just run out of opponents. It really, you run because at that level, there has to be some level to your opponent. You gotta be able to sell it on some and some way. On some level, you gotta be able to sell it. Really. Well, although they do get away with something that you shake your head, I do have to go back on that. I mean, they put Canelo in there with that guy Vadim or flood, I mean, he fought a couple guys on that to zone deal where you were like, I never even heard of this guy, and I think I pay attention. You do pay attention. You're right. I mean, look, you would take again, and let's say you run out of viable. Semi viable opponents, but again, I mean, they had triple G in there with Steve rolls, no offense to Steve rose, but I mean kind of at one point triple G was clowning him and punching him on top of his head. I mean, I don't put anything past him. I really don't. I think even if they run out of opponents, they'll just keep bringing them in. Can that guy stand up for 12 rounds? Get them in there. Honestly, I don't know. Oh wait, I had one thing to that. Go back on that. Say that again. As that question. Connect, can that guy stand up for 12 rounds? And I want you to say response. No. Go ahead, get them in there. Get them in there. Well, we basically squeezed everything out of it. We squeezed every drop of juice out of a box and gave us this week, which isn't very much. I know the fans sometimes they send me messages like, hey, you guys keep talking about UFC. What about parks and we love talking about boxing, but what are we going to talk about? We just go, at this point, we're like about to make topics up. UFC is going to put on another show next week. They had a show last night that we're not going to talk about. They have a show next week. It's just a constant parade of competitive fights, whether you're into them or not. And boxing makes it very, is making it as difficult as they can. I mean, the boxing Sports Illustrated boxer of the year is Jake Paul. I mean, what are we doing? Let's get something to talk about. We'll talk about it. Anyway, bottom line is that's a wrap for this week. There's only so much talking that we can do about Ken's injuries about his great, great ability to run a marathon at about his barber. There's only so much. Yep. And if anyone wants to come to the doctor Atlas foundation dinner annually in November on statin island, you can come there and talk to us in person. "Know, that I don't know if that beef in Mexico has anything to you and we gotta go eat down there one day, Ken. We gotta go down there, have some lunch. Maybe stay for a week, you know, have a few minutes and see how we look when we come back. You know what I mean? We'll come back at Cal Brooklyn. Maybe. Maybe. I won't but you will. You will. But I give Canelo credit because you still got to go in there. You know, if you're in baseball, you've still got to hit that hundred mile an hour fastball, that curve ball, you still got to do it. And I talk about Barry Bonds. I don't know. But in boxing, you've still got to go and have face to dangers. And get it done. And Canelo gets it done. And he gets it done in different way classes, and he's been getting better. As a fighter. And I said that. That was the big difference for me between him and trouble tree when they were even. Coming up. Because when they first started their fights because Canelo continued to get better and triple J didn't. He didn't. He was still strong and tough and bigger than a lot of guys, but he wasn't getting better. And I think his train at the time Sanchez had something to do that. Stagnated it. And obviously, triple G felt that, too, because he made a change. And drain us to banks, very Johnny banks. So with the greater manual store, used to be able to create a manual store. As his protege Emanuel was his mentor. So and you can't get better than that. But the facts are the facts. That can help to get better. And now he's the man. You know, he's the golden goose in the sport. And he can pick whoever he wants and make that guy rich or richer. I give him credit. He picked a dangerous guy. He picked a guy who had a great avenue background. He picked a guy that's been a world champion, has the confidence to experience, of being a world champion. He's picked a guy that I already said his natural bigger. He's a good technical fighter. He's a solid boxer. You know, he could fight what you put. He likes to box, he's a small cerebral guy. He's good. He's really good. And he picked him. He didn't have to pick him. You know, maybe he didn't pick Trello, which would have been easy, I believe, but maybe he didn't pick shallow because I faced that way because there's so many acts out there because listen, you're a fan because no part of being a fan is being a fanatic. That's short for fan. You know, fan is short for fanatic. So I get it. You have to write to be a nut. And there'll be some out there that go on that thing called the Internet, whatever those websites are right, that I never look at, but I get total about them once in a while. They still exist. They still out there, right? And they'll be guys who say, oh, a favor. Tell who's gonna whoop them. What's gonna whoop them? Okay, whatever. But maybe I don't know if Charlotte didn't want to fight maybe. I don't know. I don't know if they even had a choice in a mad, I don't know if it was, they asked for too much money. I don't know any of that. All I know, and I'm not pretending to know. I just know the possibilities. And at this point, I know maybe it was the wait, maybe, you know, maybe once I could see. Maybe, where, you know, at this point in his life, Canelo had to put in this muzzle one, it's not going to go back to one 60. Maybe he said, hey, you got to go to one 68. And maybe Charles said, no, maybe that's a very possible, maybe it is. If it even got that far in talking about the fight. But what I do know, and what we all do know is he picked people. It's going to be an interesting fight. That's going to be, I get crazy when people call Canelo and I don't know how far back they go in the edge. And I doubt it's too far. And they go and they say he's the greatest Mexican of all time. They forget about guys like Chavez. And Sanchez. And forget about it. I could just go on and on and on because Mexico has that kind of heritage and boxing. I mean, it's extraordinary. What's the one of the. Greatest Mexican warriors of all time? And look it up for me. It starts with an old. And he had about 90 fights and he might be the greatest action, and that's quite a statement because she had not to put action fighters into great heritage of great Mexican champions. He might have been the greatest action Mexican champion ever. Really? Moving olive air is. Yeah, that's who I was thinking. Olive bears. I mean, you got guys like him. Not to mention, and that you go to the great Marquess. You know, you go to one Manuel Martin. You go to the great, great bobcats. And then you go, you know, you go to barrera..

You know how many people viewed that fight a lot. 6.3 million people tuned in to see an amateur fight. On ITV in the UK. Again, to my point that you can build guys up that you could never do that over here. Never. Never. I mean, you have to be basically like Godzilla, a combination of Godzilla and Sugar Ray Leonard. Yeah. To really get to that place. And you have to fight really significant guys. Over there, what are the early ones to do that was because you bank, where now there's a quiz you backed junior, I understand that, but Cruz knew bank senior over here and I like him. I know very well. I had a kid fight him an amateur over here in New York when he was like 16 years, 17 years old, whatever. Now maybe a little older than that. But whatever it was and what is the smokers I used to take the kids to in The Bronx in the south Bronx for all those years. So I know who he is who you might senior is and I'll tell you, I like them. I give more of the credit in the world. It was a showman. He knew how to do business. He stayed undefeated for a period of time when the title and he made a lot of money. A lot of money. Having said that, he wouldn't have done that over here. That's it. I'm not going to go, there's no reason to go more. It's a fact. He would not he would have been another guy. But over there, in England, he was the guy. The guy and again. I had a few banks. I had to listen to Chris eubank senior talk about anything. I love his accent. Where are your music guy? Very entertaining. And very physical, strong guy. And listen, good morning all the credit in the world. And in some ways he was a little bit of a trailblazer, you know, over there really coming out and being able to promote himself the way he did into such a multi-million dollar star. It really was something. And it was had a lot to do with him, but it had more to do with the geography of where he was fighting where he lived. Again, to finish up on Khan, terrific career, a lot of money. I don't know if he's retiring now, but obviously neither one of them don't get seduced, but I know you're already over across the pond. I get it. I get it. That's what you guys do. And I understand, I do. I understand. And I'd sit down and eat crumpets with your drink tea and talk about it. I would. Because I get it. Where he's your guy and now some of you are drinking that Kool-Aid. Oh, he fits into the top three or four 5. No, you know. Don't forget to Crawford fight. Don't forget to recent fight. No, we don't. Yeah, he did what he did against Khan at this point in Khan's life at this point in Brooks life. Yeah, he was able to perform and be the much better guy. But don't fool yourself. Please, please be careful. That wrote that turn coming up above. You could go right off the cliff. Be careful, guys. I love you. I care about you. But he's not ready. He's not ready to fit in that mix. And he might be tired, because he talked like he got what he wanted. But don't get fooled by that. And, you know, again, this was a big payday for them. Can you imagine? I mean, these are two guys that you can get as many as you want when I say that, but you could say they were too shot guys, I don't care how bad they get because I care about the truth and what I believe to be the. You could have said these are two shot guys and when you heard what they're probably got paid over there, you'd say, oh my God, they're getting paid more than top guys over here. And they're too short guys. And broke, that's part of the magic. When you could be a shotgun, mentally or physically a little bit of both. And you can fight a guy who's shot and you look like you're not shot. You're the last shot guy, okay? And that's a good point. Really? And also he was the more motivated guy. You could see that. And obviously the way for that fight. The only thing I disagree with you can was, and you said it correctly, that you thought it was going to be a great fight, it looked like it was starting. And then it became obviously one sided. I thought it was one sided in the first round because he goes, yeah, he came out 500 and all that stuff. But he drops him in the first round, hurts him in the first round. So for me, it was one way traffic the whole night. Really was. Sometimes I think when that happens, like in my mind, I think a lot of people do this. You want so bad for it to be a competitive fight. No, you don't. They almost trying to see a competitive and you're like, like you said, that wasn't one sided if you were looking at it from an analyst perspective of like, no, what am I seeing here? I was just like, oh shit, these guys are going at it. I call them my kids, and I was like, hey, guys, this is a good fight. He had these guys hate each other. The next thing you know, my son said, dad, this isn't a good fight one guy is beating the crap out of the other guy. Are you son might be playing you as my co host here? Because his analytical audience is obviously advanced on his part. He was the first one to call out kell brook. He said, nice win, but let's see if you can fight like that against me. This is on Twitter to which kell brook says, one 55, otherwise don't mention my name, eubank says, you fought triple G at one 60. So you will do the same with me if you want the biggest payday and beating of your career, if not, I've got much bigger fish to fry and you don't. So anyway. Again, new bank. If it was over here, you'd be saying, where is your bag? Is that near the Netherlands? Or is that a good fishing place? Is that a place where you get really really load up your charter boat? You go there. Is that a place you can really load up and make some money on bringing in fish? And again, am I not? Am I really, it might be a malicious no. I'm kidding, but I'm also putting a point across. You bank junior deserves credit just like his father. He followed in his footsteps. He's making money. He's having a terrific career..

"Acknowledge them and let people know, hey, I'm super grateful and happy to have you in my life. And that applies here. So. I appreciate that. And I'm impressed to be able to be on with you and have you with me and every week look at you looking so fit so fine and you have always so perfectly manicured. That alone I can't even put a price on that to see somebody that well groomed with every hair in place that's pretty damn impressive. And I found a new barber here in Nashville teddy. Kurdish guy from Kyrgyzstan from actually from Iraq. And the guy was really good in the first couple times. I thought, this guy's really good, but he's rushing. Rushing through the job. So today I said to him, hey, I'm no joke. I think it's $25 for a haircut when I was in LA. You know, it was probably a hundred. So I said to him today, I said, listen, his $70. Your excellent at cutting hair. Just take your time and he's like, take your time, sit down. He's like, make yourself comfortable. We got nothing but time now. And his friend cut my two younger sons here. And yeah, now I'm psyched. I've got a new guy. I don't have to fly my guy in from LA anymore. I've got a guy here in Nashville. He's the best. When you would say Russian, I was thinking, what do you have against Russians? I mean, come on. I mean, I trained a whole bunch of them. Even fortunate enough to have a former heavyweight champ of the world. What do you? Come on, what are you talking about? But yeah, now you better be careful though. You gave him $70 and told him to take his time. He'll be there for a weekend with you. You watch. Because he had thinking. He had thinking his mind. He likes me taking my time. I can take my time. That's 72 easily become like two 40. Watch yourself. Give me a report on that in a couple of weeks and let me know how that's going. I will. I'm eventually what I would love to do is graduate they have and have come to the house for a hundred bucks. Hey, for a hundred, we drive over here and do it. That will make my life real easy. But anyway, did you, I know you had a chance to watch that kell brook and Amir Khan fight. And I was texting you and rob said, guys, this first round, these guys are going at it. This looks like it might be a good match. Well, the aggressiveness didn't end, but the terms of the competitive good match didn't last very long. Kell Brooks started taking over after the second and just, oh my goodness, one way traffic all night after the second and he just put it on a Americana American look to be every day is whatever his age is late to mid 30s. Same age is Brooks. They made the book books right up there. But go ahead. He just seemed a mere my friend jelly roll was asking me before the fight. Hey, what do you think here? I said, look, my untrained analysis prior to the fight I said, I think that Americans probably the better boxer, but he's so chinny, like he's gonna get knocked out with a jab and literally on cue. He started getting rocked with every shot that Brooke touched him with, not to mention. You see the physique on Brooke? I don't know if they were like drug testing over there, but if they weren't, man, what a genetic freak. That guy has got muscles on top of muscles. And how low is that body? And how low is that body fat? I know. He looked. I mean, he looked his energy level was great. His output was awesome. He was vascular lean. I mean, wow, but don't forget who he was in there with a guy that, you know, I mean, a guy who has not been at a high level has not been active. Neither one of them have been. The first thing I thought about that fight was who cares. I've got to be honest. I mean, that's what you're going to get over here. Who cares? 100%. It's like the fight was like 5 years too late. Yeah, I mean, at this point in their careers, what they've done and what put in their review mirror, you know, recently, with all their inactivity, bottom quit and fights. And again, you don't like to hear it here. I know so many British fans over there, you know, you annoyed those some of the British fighters like on Mount Olympus. I get it. You love them. But come on, it's gonna be a little, let's keep things in some kind of profit context. And control our motions, just a tad. I think that's what they was basically a personal grudge match. It seemed that was the only reason. They hated each other. And listen, I will applaud the honesty of Brooke for saying that basically he said that after the fight, that now basically I could retire, I could be at peace because this was important to me. There's to be able to win this fight with this particular guy that both come obviously from across the pond and there was a rivalry there was a dislike for each other. There was, you know, whatever you want to call it, and this meant more to him, obviously, broke me and him, then some of his more recent fights met Tom. Like to call for fight, obviously. And listen, I know it's a different caliber. But I know he didn't behave or come close to behave the way he did the other night. He didn't do that with coffin. Despite the, I get the difference of talent again. I'm repeating myself. But you could still behave like a guy that it means everything to you. And it looked like it meant everything. And that's what you expect when a fight against a ring. That it means everything to you. And that's what people pay in tickets to watch that kind of attitude that kind of effort, if you will..

"Your letter. That's jay live on the air. It's like we're going to read this one right now right here. This one radio buckle up and hold on tight. We got it toy liberty the strawberry letter subject my sugar. Daddy ain't sweet no more even surely a twenty eight year old single woman. I'm involved with the man that is thirty one years older than i am. He told me he was separated from his wife when we met but that was alive. So i said guidelines for how we conducted our affair discreetly. He is handsome and loaded. Anything i wanted or needed. He had cash. I told him. I wanted a house. So we have more privacy and he helped by one. I pay the mortgage from our joint account. He set up. I'm the only authorized user on the account so he has no access to it unless he goes through me. I think he truly loves me. And i have experienced. How a real man should treat me the sexist decent. And i've learned a lot from him. He's a solid man of good character. Our affair went on for close to two years and then his wife filed for divorce and everything changed and the divorce. He gave his wife everything she asked for. And all of their assets basically he said it's just money and he can make more of that is that he's looking forward to starting over with me and moving in with me soon. I almost choked on my soda. I told him that he's moving too fast. And the ink isn't even dry on his divorce papers yet. That's all. I could think of right then because i wanted to flat out. Tell him that he's not moving into my house. He also said our joint account would have to hold us over for a while. And i almost choked again. I reminded him that. The account is mine. And that's how. I pay my mortgage. He called me selfish and said now that the tables have turned. I need to do my part to help. Keep us afloat. He forgot how this thing is supposed to go. My sugar daddy is broke. Am i obligated to take care of him until he gets back on. his feet. Well of course you are not obligated to take care of him but he sure did take care of you when like he said to you. The tables return. So if you don't want to help him out now don't go on and get out of this relationship because clearly you're no longer interested in now that he's broke. I mean i could not have been clear. He said he can make more money. And i'm sure he will but here he is thinking you and him meant way more than what you say. You guys are to each other. This man was just a sugar. Daddy he was just your sponsor and when the money went dry. So did you okay. Now he wants you to throw him a bone. Well as the saying goes. When it rains it pours sir. And that's what's happening here. He got a divorce. He got cleaned out he broke. He has no wife and his mistress as one foot out of the door. These are some of the things that can happen sir when you cheat. He wasn't complaining about you being selfish back then. Look he's thirty one years older than you. Okay so he should know how life goes. there are no guarantees. He gambled he lost harsh but true. Now it's over. He's a big boy. he'll be fine. He said he can make more money. You'll be all right tommy. No you are prime example of a ragged number two. You really are you. A prime example of a ragged did number two. He didn't took care of everything he needed to take. A for you for you now. The sugar then ran a lillo. Okay did happens now. He need you you not there. What kind of number to argue. See this is what i was talking about. Thousand when a to don't know how to handle being a to you're not going to beat it. You're not going to beat. That accompanied him to help him go where he going through. You can't do that. What kind of deuce you. You'll that beat iraq. You'll supposed to be the rock now rock right now all you care about is you you. Selfish number two fell. I hope you are listening to this right now because you really need to hear. Awesome selfish number twos out there. They're off wt. You get into a pickle. Guess what they really might not be there for you. So i want all the fellas listen to me clearly unique to check and make show your number two is a right or die because guess what the sugar then got low. Now she ready to go. You know what. I'm just a sweet low is we lo- he's still sweet low right now he will come back up. Come back up what you got to ride winning. He'd have got you a house. He thank you everything you need to ride out owning. This ain't cool. You ought to worse number two number twos. That needs to listen. Don't do this. Don't do number twos don't do this. This is disrespectful to. I'm sorry meaning. God let me from Coming from somebody who knows a couple of old players that you did not sit this up in the beginning when you laid this out to these young lady here if i get sick and i lose my money going to come through now if you had said that maybe that would be that would be. What would you can't come back now. And go i love and they all sound like that. So that's what i'm doing. Avoid on you help me anybody here to help you know helped out now you out when a splendid daddy loses. He loses splendid that. That's a sugar. Daddy with diabetes. Do you game but j. We'll have part two of the strawberry letter coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject my sugar. Daddy ain't sweet now more. We'll get back into it right after this. She pays the mortgage out of their joint account. So they're white his their wife. His wife divorced him. He gave her every everything since he took care of the the his sugar baby. He thought that his sugar baby would take care of him because he gave his wife everything. No no no. That's not how this work. She almost choked on her soda thing. No she doesn't want him to move in. She doesn't want him to use the joint account. That is her account. That's how she pays her mortgage. He called her selfish now. That the tables have turned. He's he told her she needs to do his part her parts to keep them afloat a no. He forgot how this thing is supposed to go. She said and she doesn't want him her sugar. Daddy broke now. He said he could make more money. But right now. He broke so she doesn't want him. She wants to know is she obligated to take care of him until he gets back on. Its feet nope. She's not j. You were saying. I was saying look at this. This look at this on paper so we put this on. Paper broke sugar. Daddy you broke suga daddy on one side and then a thirty year old and let let's do some division. How many times would've broke sugar. Daddy go into a ban thirty years old nine zero nine partner. The situation will get worse before it gets better. I'm talking of course about this new delta variant and how it is affecting children cove nineteen is not just an elderly virus now. Pediatric hospitalizations are up at an alarming rate. Now are playing with public health In the state of florida governor. Ron santa's His office said monday. That the state board of education could move to withhold the salaries canaanites believe this will withhold salaries moving to it anyway possibly voting on it to to withhold the salaries of superintendents and school board members who disregard his executive order prohibiting mask mandates for school districts. What is going on in florida. The state of texas governor abbott has threatened to find texas school districts. Covert numbers are high Listen the covert war is still going on this is craziness right with people's not and children are precious babies. Yes they yes. They are talking about this. You know the but you know they're weird. You know these governors There they are the first to say they don't want the federal government telling them what to do with how to govern their their on their state. But now you're telling me superintendents who are supposed to make these schools safe. That's what what's in most of these state's constitutions boy to provide a safe environment for our children to go to school right but you wanna tell the superintendents how to do their job to keep their schools saint. It's the same thing. And if they say we're going to withhold your salary. We're discussing. I why in job twenty minutes systems as soon as a hurricane. Or tornado aurelius. It's your city. Talk like when you make a move on. We'll make the move right behind. Yeah like they're boys right. They're texting each other. Okay now you do you do. And then i'll do this what you're playing with people's lives. We're protecting our children if these children that are twelve and under can't get back to ask what is wrong with them wearing a mask school. What's the big deal. They did it last year. It's more important to them. That's about pie that we're free. Yes about power and to save. We're free. We're free to choose. We're free we're free. We're free to choose. That's what's most important to them are speaking to their base. They think that's what their constituents want to hear politicizing public health. So that's what you don't you're politicizing way into mass leader. Yeah started all of this. You know here's where we are affecting at the end of the day. They refuse to admit that they wrongly accused admit anything about the election. They refused to admit anything about it. So they ride mr the wheels fall. They stick with it. Whatever we whatever whatever's for the people they are against it and their ultimate goal. Tommy is for next year's midterm elections. They wanna win that and then in two thousand twenty four of course they want trump to to run again and be reelected that yet. It they're trying to keep their republican base and all those millions seventy something millions of people. Who voted for trump. Another mysterious monolith appears — in Romania

"One. I got one. I got one breaking news basically out of the New York Post. Another mysterious monolith has surfaced days after one vanished without a trace in the Utah desert, this shiny triangular metallic pillar. Was found a few yards away from an ancient landmark in Romania. In the city of Piatra Neamt. And on Thursday it measures 13 FT. Tall, One side faces amount. Kayla Kell Kell who nailed it. Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly how it's pronounced, which is one of the seven natural wonders of Romania that is also known locally as Holy Mountain. One of my favorites. Yeah, so they just found an article on some private property. They don't know who the model its owner is. It is in a protected area on an archaeological site before installing something there. They would have needed permission from the institution and from the Ministry of Culture. Aliens don't wait for permission. Apparently, Romania has a Ministry of culture which just sounds very foreboding. It

A Walking Tour of Dublin, Ireland

"Start. Today's all Irish. Our with tips for a walking tour of Dublin with nearly two million people in Greater Dublin. Ireland's capital is by far its biggest city and it thrives with Arts Entertainment Food and fun just taking a walk through Ireland's capital. You can see and experience so much of its charm. That can know where to look and if you know where to walk. It's even better. That's why we've invited to Great Irish guides. Joe Darcy and Karen O'hare to join us in our studios for a guided stroll through Dublin. Joe and Karen thanks for being with us. Our pleasure great to be here so if you're going to take somebody on a walk through. Dublin where we just start. I think I'd probably start up. Stephen's Green which is at the south. End of Grafton Street is a pedestrianised shopping street and Stevens. Green is a beautiful manicured Eighteenth Century Park. It reminds me of when you get off the platform and suddenly. You're at hogwarts step out of the middle of this busy packed city into a beautiful manicured park actually reminds me of London. Very much so probably. That's because it was designed in a time when Dublin was actually the second city in the British Empire. Oh without question. In everything. From the the wrought iron fencing around the entire park to the style of landscape architecture inside the park is very very limited those parts in London and Joe when we think of Saint Stephen's Green. Today it has some connections with Ireland's difficult fight for independence Jordan. The nineteen sixteen religion on Easter Monday called eastern evasion and there was one. Contingent of artists rebelled swear in command of Stevens granddaughter. Job was to mind. Stephen Greene barricaded streets on prevent British reinforcements from getting into the city centre and amazingly their only experience of warfare. Because he's not. Soldiers was watching the pathway news from World War One and where everybody was digging trenches all over Belgium France so they dug trenches in Stephen's Green. Hold out but of course British army caught up to four storey buildings all around the Gresham hotel. They had a clear line of fire. Is like they're digging their own tombs. Yeah Yeah So. They retreated from their interface called the Royal College of Surgeons. Which is just when you come out with Stephen Screen through that gate around. He'll after all colleges charges and you can still see bullet marks into whole memorial to mention. Yeah Yeah Yeah let host reminded of the the blood that was last is Ireland one. It's independent that was no easy feat the more understanding of history you bring your visit to. Dublin the more. You'll enjoy your sightseeing today when I go to Saint Stephen Screen it's Of course you've got the history but it's just a festival of of youth and families in life. People are feeding the ducks in the pond. There's a little theater there. And it's and it's the kickoff point for Grafton Street Karen mentioned Grafton Street Joe when he walked down Grafton Street What are you gonNA find? You're gonNA find a multitude of small shops as well as the big retail shops. Actually strangely enough when you come down from Stevens Gray and one of the first big shops you say you left US Disneyland. So there's a store you know. This is the High Rent Street and you have the high rents treated drives out the local businesses and it brings in the what. Are you gonNA see Karen when you walk down Grafton Street well I think the first thing that you notice is the street is seething with life there's wall to wall people coming and going in either direction and you know living in Dublin. You're always if you live there you're gonna run into someone you know in that street. You know when you walk down it you don't see any churches right on the street but hiding a little bit off. The way is a Catholic Church. Why would a Catholic Church be hiding off the main street in Dublin? Well Saint Theresa's Church right off. Grafton Street was One of the first places that it was allowable. I believe for Roman Catholics to openly worship after the period of time in the eighteenth century known as the penal laws when open practice of Roman Catholicism was officially outlawed by British rulers in Ireland so that churches write-offs in Stephen's Green and it's very much an oasis of tranquility in the city as it has been since the eighteenth century Saint Teresa's. It's a beautiful church to depend to end. It is interesting to think that in Ireland. Dublin was sort of London's second city and it was very not Catholic but when Catholicism was allowed you could worship as Catholics in Dublin but keep a low profile exactly so these great churches are tucked away in the back streets although they were allowed to openly practice. That wasn't really opened. That was in inverted commas. The church still had to be kinda hidden away. They weren't allowed to build churches on a main street. That's why it's down outside. So it Joe at the bottom of Grafton street you come to a very important College Beautiful College Trinity College and originally for the elites for the Protestant kids but of course today Everybody's welcome as it traveled. How do enjoy Trinity College? Well the best way to visit is to go into the front main entrance on an area called college dot Grafton Street just continue on straight over to your right hand side and you come into a beautiful Georgian Square. A huge amount of Dobbin was rebuilt. George an and that's like neoclassical screams. British Empire Eighteenth Century he and George W was rebuilt in the eighteenth century in Georgia. So we're one of the best Georgian cities. In Britain colleges SORTA like the elite colleagues for Ireland. Even go to college was founded in one thousand nine hundred hundred nothing left of the original college. It was almost totally rebuilt starting in Sixteen Ninety S and then Roy Eighteenth Century Karen my favorite thing when I step through that Grand. Entrance of Trinity is a little table where our students offering tours? Yeah that's right and I used to live right across from that table when I was in college and Trinity. Right in front square and there are students known as scholars of the college who've passed a competitive examination to have free tuition at the college and they give tours of front square dressed in the academic gowns. That were still common among students until recently and they are really eloquent. Fun-loving students giving you a candid. Look at student life. It's very inexpensive. It's a great way to get a sense of Trinity College absolutely in a great way to get a sense of the tradition of wit in Dublin. It goes back to one of the most famous Students at Trinity Oscar Wilde are guides to Dublin travel with Rick Steves are irish-american Cure. No half he attended. Kennedy College is an expert on the Ellen pipes which he performs with the company trio opened the door for three Joe. Darcy provides custom walking tours of Dublin and was recently on the board of historic Sweeney's pharmacy. Where James Joyce readings are given throughout the week when we go to Trinity College? Of course you've got to go to the library and see the book of Kells and so one of the most important medieval art treasures in Western civilization when you leave trinity when I was really struck by is a bank that used to be the parliament step in there and you get a little dose of British rule of Ireland Joe. Tickets into that the most important building built in Dobbin Jordan rebuilding eighteenth century was a new bike camera. Houses apartment one of the first purpose built house the parliament certainly in Europe. If not the world took about forty years to complete S- between seventeen forty. Seven hundred eighty and housed. Two Chambers House will come in the House of Lords very much along the the British can step into one of those houses to this day. It's open during banking errors free and and you really got sense of that little after the act of union and the first of January eighteen hundred one we became part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and the Bank of Ireland. Arden's forced commercial bank. They took over the building paid for the House of Commons. Hot To be put out of use never to be used as a place of assembly again but they said nothing about the House of Lords so the Bank of art and has maintained. And it's a beautiful room. It's mostly open Jordan banking hours occasionally there's functions and there you'll see a sign outside that it's either open or closed. I stumbled into it just this last year. I never knew about it and it was great
