"Please don't don't ask why no one quite knows the reason it could be as head wasn't screwed on just right. It could be perhaps shoes. We're too tight but yeah I think that the most likely reason all may have been that his heart was two sizes too small but whatever. The reason is hard or shoes shoes. He stood there on Christmas Eve hating the WHO's staring down from his cave with a sour grinchey frown the warm lighted windows below. The town for he knew every down in Whoville beneath was busy now hanging mistletoe. ARETHA and they're hanging stockings. E snarled with a sneer. Tomorrow is Christmas. It's practically here. Then he growled with his grinch fingers. Nervously drumming. I must find some way to stop Christmas from a main for tomorrow. He knew and all the WHO girls and boys would wake Breitner lead. They'd rush for their toys. And then oh the noise. Oh the a noise noise noise noise. That's one thing. He hated the noise. Noise noise no choice. Then the WHO young and old would sit down to a feast and they'd Feast on they. Feast feast feast feast feast. They would feast on who pudding and rare who rose beast which was something that grinch couldn't stand in the least and then they do something he liked least of all every who down in Whoville. The tall and this mall would stand close together with Christmas bells ringing. They'd stand hand in hand. And the WHO's would star Dr Singing Sing Sing Sing Sing Sing Sing. And the more the grinch thought of the WHO Christmas Christmas sing the more the grinch thought. I must stop this whole thing. Why for fifty three years? I've put up with it now. I'm more a stop Christmas from coming. But how then he got an idea. An awful idea the grinch gonNA wonderful. Aw Idea I know just what to do. The grinch laughed in his throat and he made a quick Sacchi. 'cause hat and coat. Hello and he chuckled. And what a great grinchey trick with this code in this hat. I'll look just like Saint Nick. All I need reindeer. The grinch looked around but since reindeer are scares there were none to be found. Did that stop the old grinch. No the grinch simply said if I can't find a reindeer I'll make one instead. So he called his dog. Max Max then. He took some red thread and he tied bighorn on the top of his head. Then you load some bags and some old empty sacks zone. A ramshackle sleigh any hitched up old. Max then the grinch said get up and the SLEIGH started down toward the homes where the WHO. ooh Lay a snooze in their town. All their windows were dark. Cliett snow filled the air. And the whose we're all dreaming sweet dreams dreams without care. When he came to the first little house on the square? This is stop number one. The old grinchey clause how's hissed any climbed to the roof empty bags in his fist. Then he slid down the chimney around a tight pinch but if Santa it could do it then so called the grinch he got stuck only once for a moment or two then he stuck his head out of the fireplace flu where the little well who stockings all hung in a row. These stockings grin are the first things to go then. He slithered and slunk with a smile most unpleasant around the whole route and he took every president. Pop guns bicycles roller skates drums. checkerboards boards tricycles popcorn plums. And he stuff them. And then the grinch Berry Nibley stuff dole the bags things one by one the then he slumped to the ice box. He took the feast. He took a WHO pudding he took the roast beast. He cleaned out the iceboxes. Quick as a flash way the grinch even took the last can who hash then he stuffed all all the food up the chimney with Glee and now grandee grinch. I will stop the tree. The grinch grabbed the tree and he started to shove then he heard a small sound like the coup of a dog. He turned around fast and saw a small vittal. Cindy blue. Who was not more than two? The grinch had been caught by this tiny who daughter who got out of bed for a couple of cold water. She stared at the grinch and said Santa Claus. Why why are you taking our Christmas tree? But you know that old grinch was so so smart so slick. He thought up a lie beneath thought it up quick why my sweet little taught the fake sandy claws lied. So there's a light on this tree that on one side so I'm taking it home to my workshop. My dear I'll fix it up there then I'll I'll bring it back here. And his fifth food the child then he patted her head and he got her a drink. And he's Saturday bed. And when Cindy Lou who went to bed with her cop he went to the chimney and stuffed the tree then the last thing he took doc was the log for their fire then he went up the chimney himself the old liar on their walls he left nothing but hooks some wire fire and the one speck of food that he left in the house was a crumb was even too small for mouse. Then then he did the same thing to the other whose houses leaving crumbs much too small for the other whose houses it was quarter past asked Dawn. All the WHO's still bed all the WHO still a snooze when he packed up his sled packed it up with their presence the ribbons the wrappings. The rags and the tinsel the trimmings that trappings three thousand feet up the side of Mount Trumpet Erode with as low to the tip top to dump trumpet Poo Poo to the. Who's he was grizzly humming? They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming. They're just waking up. I know just just what they'll do. Their mouth will hang open a minute or two and then the whos down in Whoville. We'll all cry boo. ooh Hoo that's annoys grin the grinch that I simply must here so he paused and the grinch put his hand and to his ear and he did hear a sound rising over the snow. It started in low then it started to grow but the sound wasn't sad by this sounded Mary. It couldn't be so but it was Mary very he. He stared down at WHOVILLE. The grinch pop is is then he shook what he saw was a shocking surprise. Every who down in Whoville Bill. The tall and the small was singing without any presence at all he hadn't stopped Christmas from coming. It came somehow somehow or other. It came just the same and the grinch with his feet ice cold in the snow. To puzzling and puzzling. How could it be so it came without? Ribbons came without tags. It came about packages boxes or bags and he puzzled with three hours. To lose. Puzzle was sore. Then the grinch thought of something he hadn't before maybe Christmas he thought doesn't come mm-hmm from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more and what happened then. Well AH in Whoville they say that the grinches small heart grew three sizes that day and the minute is heart. Didn't feel quite so tight. He whizzed just with his load through the bright morning light and he brought back the toys and the food for the feast and he he himself. The grinch carved the rose.

"In the original Rudolph the red nosed reindeer by Robert L. May twas the day before Christmas all all through the hills the reindeer playing join the spills skating and coasting and climbing the willows and hopscotch e leapfrogging protected by pillows. Well every so often they stopped the call names one little deer not allowed in in their games. Ha Ha look at Rudolph his nose site. It's red as a beet twice as big twice as bright while Rudolph off just wet. What else could he do? He knew that the things they were saying were true where most reindeers noses houses were brownish. Tiny poor Rudolph was read very large and quite shining in daylight dazzled the picture. Victor shows that the nighttime glowed like the eyes of a cat pudding dirt on it just made it money. Oh boy was he mad when they kabq named Him Ruddy and though even lonesome he always was good obeying his parents as a good reindeer should and that's why on this day uddhav almost felt plateful. He hoped that from Saturday soon. Driving his sleigh full of presence and candy and and dollies and toys for good little animals good girls and boys he get just as much and this is what pleased him as the happier handsomer reindeer. Here who teased him so is night. In a fog hit the world likelihood he went to bed hopeful. He knew he'd been good breath. Well way way up north on this same foggy night old sat. It was packing a slave of the flight. This fall he complained. We'll the are to get through shook his round head tummy show to without any stars or moon as our compass. This extra extra dark knight is quite likely to swamps to keep from collisions. We'll have to fly slow to keep our direction we'll have to fly low. We'll steer by streetlamps houses tonight in order to finish before it gets light. Just think how the boys and girls faith with shake if we didn't reach them before they awaken come Dasher dancer compressor vixen come comet. Come cupid come donner and blitzen be quick with your suppers get hitched and hurry you too will find fog to lay worry and Saturday was right right. As usually is fog was thick as sodas white phys just not getting lost all sanders skill off the street signs and numbers more difficult still he tangled in treetops again and again and barely missed hitting tri motor plane. He still still make good speed with much twisting and turning as long as street lights house lights were burning at each house first noting the people who live there there he quickly select the right presence to give their by midnight however at the last light of slant for even big people then got the bed because it might wake them a match was denied my how he wished he just won star guide him true dark streets and houses old sadder fared poorly now pick the presence more slowly less surely he really was worried for what would he do if folks started waking before he was through. The air was still foggy the night dark career when Sata arrived the home of the year alleged that he tripped on will see. The chimney gave Sata spill painfully. Really skinny the room he came down in was lacquer that you went for a chair and found it to be sync. The first reindeer bedroom was so very black. He tripped on the rug and fell flat on his back so dark yet to move close to the bed addin squint. Very hard at the sleeping deers head before he could choose the right kind of toy doll for a girl or a train for a boy but all this took time filled Saturday with gloom while slowly he groped toward the next reindeer's room. The door just opened to his surprise dim but quite definite light Mendez is. The lamp wasn't burning. The glow came instead from something that lay at the head of the bed and there lay but wait now. What would you suppose the glowing you guessed it was Rudolph's red nosed so this room was easy? This one little light let sat up pick it quickly the gifts that were just right how happy he was until he went out. The door and the rest of the house was as black as before so black that made every step of Garp mystery then came the greatest idea in all history you went back to Rudolph and started to shake him of course very gently in order to wake him and Rudolf could scarcely believe his own Is You can just imagine Jordan surprise at seeing who stood there so real and so near well telling the tale. We've already ready told here poor. Saddest tale of distress and delay the fog and darkness of losing his way. The horrible fear that some children in my wake and before his complete crispus trip had been taken and you told Rudolph may yet save the day. Your wonderful ooh forehead yet paved the way for a wonderful triumph. It actually might old Saturday. You know this was extra polite to Rudolph offer guarding his forehead to call it a shiny big nose would be horrid. I need you said Santa to help meet tonight right. Delete all my dear. The rest of our flight and Rudolf broke out into such a big grin. It almost connected his ears and his Chin and note this folks. He dashed off in a hurry. I've gone to help Santa. He wrote. Do not worry said Santa I I slay will bring down to the lawn. Huge stick in the chimney and flash is gone. The Rudolf pranced out through the door. Very Gay took his place at the head of the SLEIGH and the rest of the night well guess old. Santa's idea was brilliant. Brilliant success and brilliant was almost no word for the way that Rudolf directed the deer and the sleigh in spite of the fog they flew quickly and low. You made such good use of wonderful glow Rudolph's forehead at each intersection. The Not even once they lose their direction well as for the houses and streets with a sign on them. They've nearly flew close so that Rudolph could China on them to tell who live it. They're just what to give whom they fly each window peak in the room old. Santa always knew which children good minded their parents. Eight is they should good. So Santa selected the gift it was right. The Rudolph's forehead gave just enough light. It all went so fast that before it was day. The very last present given away the very last stalking filled to the top and just as the sun was preparing to pop this. This son both the reindeer Roth's hometown found the short message written down then. They gathered outside to await his return and were they excited astonished to learn that. Rudolph the ugliest dear the Mall Rudolph the red no so bashful and SPA and the funny face fellow. They always called names and practically never allowed. Their Games was now to be envied by all Faren near for no greater honor can come to a dear riding was set guiding his slate the number one job on the number one day the sleight and his reindeer soon came into view and Rudolf still led them down with the flu and old boy was he proud as they came to a landing rights sir as handsomer playmates. Were standing these bad dear. who used to do nothing but tease him would now have done anything only pleasing cleasing? They felt even sorrier they had been bad when satis Rudolph I never have had deer quite so brave or brilliant. Is You at fighting black fog and a guiding meeks through by you. Last night's journey was actually bossed without you you. I'm certain we'd all been lost. I hope you'll continue to keep us from brief on future dark trips as commander in chief. Rudolf just washed his head news toes until his whole firm was as red as is. Oh the crowd. I applaud then and started to screech Paret for our Rudolph and we WANNA speech. Rudolph was bashful despite being a hero and tired in his sleep on the trip totaled zero. And that's why. His speech was just brief not bright. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. And that's why whenever it's foggy and gray it's Rudolph the red nose who guide. Santa's Sleigh sleigh. Be Listening this Christmas. Don't make a peep because that late at night children should be asleep. The very first sound that you hear the roof provided right at this fog. We'll be rural all who and soon after that still is a mouse. You may hear a swish flies around the house and gives enough light to give sat at of you of you and your room. And when they're all through you may hear them call as the drive out of sight. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night that smooth off the red nosed reindeer..

"I did a story last season uh about a um a female detective who were staunchly catholic woman who's was trying to maintain a good view of the world to see your fellow man as an woman this as essentially decent people and she was confronted with a situation where young women believed to be prostitutes kept disappearing and most of the police departments around their cata shovel them off onto a shelf somewhere because they were busy with non prostitutes and who uh is she decided that they matter just as much as anybody else and so she went to work on those cases and worked so hard on them and cared about them so much that you recognize that she was a more deeply human carrying person then i was on and i was so impressed by her by how much he cared about humanity so maybe a depressed or some of the time but she scher worked ah trying to make things better that you figure it out which averted out was at one person will who there one reason there were two guys and they were you know they were go shopping for cheese in and did really bad things to them and then they put them on in in uh the recycling system of of the orange county and they they go off and be buried in landfills so my god they'd never find them they got lucky with one and were able to go with the rest of the but i remember one time we were standing up in the top of this mountain of garbage.

"The deaths fun the i need that sterling to say but talking to people who want to do that you never going to get the truth out of them but you're going to get an interesting tale uh as they dodge around dodging we even try to deflect right but you know it's it's also sometimes the truth isn't very clear about what's going on i'm sure you probably watch making a murderer option yeta milenko brendan dad's what it gives the he you know how does he how does that i know i mean but that at the same time you know we do have to remember that we are seeing storytelling from the point of view of the storyteller we know that we're not seeing everything in these shows we're not seeing every detail we weren't at every trial so it's very easy and i'm certainly one of those people was like well obviously the legal system was corrupt you know but without having been it every day of the trial seeing every bit of evidence and everything i can't 100 percent say that i know for certain that there was a tremendous miscarriage of justice it feels like there was but i wasn't there so i don't know no rubber you are answer we who were there most of the time at are able to talk to the people who shepherded all through from beginning to win m try our best to get it right and knowing that even in a two hour program which we love to do a lot of the now uh on a specific individual crime resituating in the developed in one family say and he spent two hours tried to dissect it seems like a lot of time bride you're using a tiny percentage of information that you'd like to be able to use sure you could do a whole season five seasons on that one family rights still not get everthing so yeah it's a problem but it's using a it's it's selecting the right bits uh that matters so much but how you get pat me because i'm sure you come into things and you might have immediate judgments of all of course it you know so how do you how do you get past your own your own judgements when it when you really need to kind of do all the research do all the work.

"Luxury of being able to sit and talk to somebody for three hours sometimes or flaws i want bright and eventually if somebody's comfortable with you going to start telling you things and pay no attention to that future interviews a doubt i mean it's so everybody does a different way but i've never felt that you get much honest de or or much candor out of people but it's oster not uh by trying to force them into a bit of if they wanted to aren't you sheriff there if they fuel like telling you their story will somehow be cathartic or or be helpful for the person they're talking about or something then they will yet how do you because obviously some of these people have stories that they wanna tell but maybe stories that they don't wanna tell right maybe they're telling a different story than what the reality of the situation is all the time and so how you know how do you especially when you know what's going on it will what are what are some of the tricks in the bag for for getting people to break down in kind of incriminate them so to speak e there are people who try to tell you that you can tell when somebody's lying and i don't believe that i mean i don't have the best detectives will often say well and are not regarded either but it what it takes his triangulation had you have to talk to quote a number of people and then eventually you understand who's lying and whose kinda not yeah although there is a rule member when bill clinton was having trouble yes and we were still not doing all murders all the time we were that the time doing a lot about bill clinton.

"Here's a consistent thing with all of these people we didn't we actually do murder mysteries for the longest time we didn't we started doing those bit by bit gradually right and we did more and more than because our bosses recognize of renewing batara then for stories about wales but uh but the bad that him said yes you you find you do the same story over and over again i am there are a little different but as what what is history doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes and and so do crimes right so we have done i think we've vents six or seven episodes now on murder of husband by wife with using anti only god because it just they did they dole without slowly lawyers like it's it's just like the old arsenic treatment the peg of the christie used to write about right except maybe the notice it less may i guess i don't know but i will i i sort of illich isn't isn't that now wouldn't that be one of the first things that a hospital would test for now knowing that people do kill each other with antifreeze they actually change the formulation of eddie for you so that a dozen taste like sweet tea anymore that you think that would automatically do that canada should this taste good this toxic substance to humans should this taste let's make it go let's make a cherryflavoured any fat straight let's make it taste delicious you're a win did you come down from a new from schedule one.
