Leftists Continue Using Tragedy to Advance Political Agenda

"You know we recorded our show on Friday and by Saturday there had been an attack in Buffalo by Sunday there had been an attack in California And as always it becomes instantly not a battle to help the victims families not a battle to find out what was the underlying motive for this and try to prevent things like this from happening not that all got sidelined immediately as another round of genuinely awful human beings Had to promptly find a way to abuse this tragedy and the victims of it To further divide and destroy this country and burn it to the ground Now the tragedy another round of genuinely awful human beings abusing it it used to be Jim when I first got into radio about ten years ago they'd wait a day or two because they didn't want to their grifters and losers And they never wanted to appear like her if there's no losers Remember they'd wait like a day Use maybe they're two days Then it was down to a day then in the Obama era they'd wait just a couple hours Now it's instant Now people are still getting medical attention at the scene And there's some lunatic like that Rob Reiner That meath is meathead right Rob Reiner known only for one of the few characters whose actually smarter in the television series used than he is in real life Rob Reiner and others Keith olbermann who can't keep a job of course just minutes after trying to abuse this tragedy to advance a political story as a way to get back at Republicans

Dr. Keith Rose Describes the 'Rule of Exchange'

"Let me just make sure I'm getting this straight, doctor Rhodes. Pfizer is basically saying, oh, these aren't, you know, this isn't real data and Marjorie Taylor Greene's full of it because, you know, we can't verify all of this. Isn't this the same excuse that those on the left used to debunk the VAERS data because they said they couldn't verify all the adverse events? Is this what's happening here? Right. You have to understand when you listen to the mainstream media or liberal progressives. I call it the rule of exchange. They exchange one set of data for another set of reasons. And they use it back and forth. A great example is the governor of your state Gavin Newsom, who is now trying to take the medical license from any physician they're pushing a bill right now at your state legislature to take the medical license from any position that quote promotes misinformation. And at the same time, Gavin Newsom, who locked down an entire state and is trying to force vaccines was out, I think it was 72 hours ago and his quote was where he's upset about roe versus wade. And he said, remember, my body, your body, your choice. So again, liberals use the slogans that fit their narrative. And if you say anything else, like you said, it's misinformation.

Producer Andrew and Dr. Keith Rose Discuss Bill Gates' COVID Response

"I want to play another clip for a Bill Gates here from that same talk he was giving. That's just cut one. Let's go ahead and play it and we'll react to it after that. Cut one. It wasn't until early February when I was in a meeting that experts at the foundation said, there's no way, you know, this there's been too much travel without diagnosis for us to contain this. And then at that point, we didn't really understand the fatality rate. We didn't understand that it's a fairly low fatality rate. And that it's a deceased mainly of the elderly kind of like flu yeah, so glad we didn't overreact, right? Doctor Rhodes. Well, I just appreciate the fact that Bill Gates and his experts as soon as they realize that there was no way to quote contain this came out and said that lockdowns weren't effective in that, let's not crush the economy. Let's not cause an increase in drug use and suicides. Let's not destroy jobs. Let's do something different. It's interesting. He talks about it. And if you're watching talk, he's just kind of rattling off the top of the head like there were no consequences to this. No, it was his group that funded the IHME that gave us these bogus projections in the beginning that forced all the lockdowns that said there were going to be millions and millions of deaths. So Amelia culpa two years later, I mean, it's not even to me a culprit's like, oh, I guess we got it wrong.

Dr. Keith Rose Describes the 'Pfizer Docs'

"Doctor Keith rose, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Thanks, Andrew. Yeah. Honored to have you as always my friend. You are a wealth of knowledge. You have been privately you and I have been chatting a lot about, let's just call it the Pfizer docs, all right? It was trending on Twitter as soon as that happened. You know, if you just Google Pfizer docs right now, all you will see is about 15 articles from Reuters, AP, newsweek, fact checking some of what they call the rumors on social media and conservative messaging boards. I think this is a really fascinating conversation. So I'm going to say like this, doctor rose. I don't know how to interpret all of this data. I'll be really honest. But we have pulled here on the show a lot of very interesting screen grabs, okay? So if the people have been pulling, they've been analyzing it this way and that. And I think it's completely fair game to talk about the Pfizer dogs. Now, for people who are uninitiated, doctor rose, tell us what the Pfizer docs are and how this became a news story to begin with. Well, my understanding is that Pfizer wanted the documents that are now in the public domain. Held for 75 years, I believe, is what they requested. And that in and of itself is bizarre. I mean, that's about the equivalent of taking the national security safes and putting it in your museum and locking them up for 5 years. You know, it doesn't make any sense when this kind of information should have been in the public realm. That was yeah, just referring to Obama taking up. Yeah, what was their justification for doing that? There wasn't a justification. And that's, I think that you have to look at things. We have a lot of content, but we also need to view that content and context. And that's what I think the liberals of progressives are very good is they corrupt the context of the content with quote fact

Cully Stimson: Putin Will Forever Be Branded a War Criminal

"What do you attribute that to I have heard of various explanations grift corruption and the Russian military people stealing equipment old equipment poor training what do you primarily attribute that to Well you know I served in the navy jag corps for 30 years and just retired this year But I was not a war fighter I was a lawyer of two war fighters but my analysis is based on listening to people who are war fighters and who I respect And I think not only the things that you mentioned are factors in it But they're just not good at combined armed operations I think that was a surprise to the season hands at The Pentagon and retired military analysts that you would think that they would have perfected coordinating air land and personnel moves in coordinated operations even through multiple entry points But they weren't And God bless the Ukrainians and their love of country and their desire to defend their country and of course we've played our part we can debate whether we played enough of a pardon providing them arms And so is NATO But they have just not Putin's folks have not lived up to what we thought was the big bad Russian army And so they were creating they're probably pointing their attentions now towards the eastern Donbass region from all written reports I don't think that means they're given up on Keith and the rest of it And of course they're clearly engaged in a war crimes by indiscriminately killing civilians targeting children women hospitals And so however this thing ends Putin and his ilk will forever be branded a war criminal And that's people can't forget that

"So general, what should we be looking at? We got about two minutes left. What do you think we should be watching for as an indication that Putin may be about to give up the ghost and realize that his sunk costs are sunk costs? We've got to cut and run. I think we're a far cry from that. I think he's determined based on what I see outside of key, he's stuck in his artillery, dug in his mechanized units. They're not leaving. They can't take Keith but they're not leaving either. I do think what we got to keep an eye on is if and when Mario pole falls, will they be able to take that success that they've had there in the east and the south. And use some of those forces to go us to take Odessa and also to go north to assist with these besiege of Keith, our assessment and ISW is that based on the casualties you, they will not be able to generate that kind of combat momentum. In other words, their casualties that they've had in this fight in the south around Mario pole.

Keith Stubbs Tells Us About Dry Bar Comedy

"At the NRB. You've heard of it. It's a convention that meets in a gigantic, it's kind of like one of those hamster rabbit trail. What do they call those things habit trails? It's kind of like it's at the Gaylord in Nashville and you're encased in plastic. You can't get out. But nice people stumble by. One of them just did his name is Keith Stubbs. He's the president of dry bar comedy. I like comedy and Keith Stubbs, welcome to the program. I'm so glad to be here. Thanks for having me. Okay, my pleasure. Now tell us what is dry bar company? I mean, I know a little bit about this already, but my audience does not. They're going to know about it right now. We're going to lay it out. Drybar comedy basically, we are the largest streaming and compilation library of stand up comedy in the world anywhere. We have over 500 comedians that recorded comedy specials, drybar comedy specials, and our slogan is funny for everyone, which means everyone's gonna think it's funny. So in other words, some of those records of red fox where he works blue that would not fit into drybar comedy. I think you're exactly right about that. Red fox is not a good fit. Red fox is not a good fit. So I gotta tell you, I love red fox, but he didn't need to go there, okay? And you're telling me that dry bar comedy, it's actually funny, but it's also something that you wouldn't be afraid if you're 12 year old was with you listening to it. That's exactly right. We just believe that there's a whole segment of the population that's underserved as far as stand up comedy. I've been in it for a long time. I started doing comedy in 91, and I've kind of been around to say I've been around at all. I would say that's pretty accurate. I've been around for a long time, but this segment of the population that is underserved is bigger than I think Hollywood or the industry would even recognize.

Angel Studios' Neal Harmon on Creating Meaningful Stories

"And I'm talking to the head of angel studios. Those are the folks behind drybar comedy. And the chosen among other things, the chosen being the most famous, the chosen you finished the second season you said. You finished filming it. Yes. And Dallas Jenkins. He's the director. Is the director. Yes. And so how do you, how do you pull something like this off? I mean, anytime you do anything like this, I would just imagine, you know, you'd need some theological experts. You need some people around you to make sure that you don't go off the rails. Yeah, so Dallas wisely formed a biblical advisory council that he sends the scripts to to get their feedback and there's a Catholic scholar. There's a evangelical scholar. There's a messianic Jewish rabbi who all give feedback and input into the scripts to make sure that their biblically sound and that they'll reach broad as a market as possible. And he was very wise to do that. We have other creators who are doing something similar. Now, did the Catholic scholar insist that Mary should be portrayed as an Italian woman? Because so there are instances where Dallas overrides it's a good thing you don't have a Greek Orthodox scholar because he knows that she's Greek. No, it's kind of funny whenever you're trying to, you know, it's like you're trying to do something by committee. It's hard. And at the same time, you have to do it when you're doing something like this. Well, and it's not by committee. I don't mean that, but I mean, you need to get that input. There's just no way. That's the input for the market. But he ultimately, he has the creative control for the project. So you're not, so you're saying Mary was not Italian? No, I'm saying that Dallas portrayed Mary as having suffered pain when she gave birth to Jesus. And there are Catholics that don't like to see that. Oh, actually, that's interesting. See now that I love that because that's theologically very interesting.

"Now I know you're making this up, pal. Listen, I've had people come on this program and pull these stunts before. No, seriously, this is true. But you've not seen, oh, you're stuck. That's not his hair. A very soap, is that his hair on this? And his and his hair that we grabbed from the drain. Keith, I want to tell you. I am so honored. These sacred relics. These are holy relics. Should be in a comedy museum along with the old jokes that you just tried to put over on this brand new show. Seriously, okay, but no kidding, you showered. You lived to tell the tale. So he comes out, we're now in the locker room, and Paul and the band are playing, Larry bud melman, dried them off. We get dressed, and we head out to the counter where we get our cars. He's a humble guy. He waited in line to get his membership card. This is old school. This is in the this is probably late 80s. Any weights in line in the girls find the counter handing out the cards. It's like 5 after ten at this point. And he steps up and he says lettering. And she hands him the car. You remember that moment where he blends in. Letterman? But this whole time, I'm thinking, how do I talk to the man? You don't talk to him in the shower. You don't talk to him when he's dressing. So again, true story. I hold the door for him. And I say, Dave, I've got tickets for your show in a couple of weeks. True story. I was holding tickets to his show. So I hold the door, I announced this joyous news, and he goes, boy, talk about pressure. It's a true story. So David Letterman quote, and then we walked out of the Y together and he faded off into the night, and that was my brush with great. And so he today is a nobody. And you're on the air with taxes show. Think of the irony, the irony of history. But seriously, I had a brush with Letterman at a gas station in new Canaan. I'll never forget it. I pulled into the gas station as I sometimes do. To get gas. And he pulled in and I think it's a Porsche. And I think he was getting Merrill Marco at the time. And I looked over and there he was, pumping his own gas, just like a normal flesh and blood human being. Pumping his gas. And at the time, there was kind of a giveaway that if you fill up a tank of gas, they gave you like I think like an NFL tumbler or something like that. And so he went in and he paid because this is like before credit cards. This is like 88. I think before the machines, right? So he went in and he paid and he came back out and as he stepped in front of the Porsche, he showed Merrill Marco the tumblr and he kind of went like you kind of like and anyway, could this be more pathetic, these stories are so pathetic. I just want to weep. I just want to weep. But Keith, look, here's the bottom line. The reason you're on this show, okay? The reason the world knows who you are is because you, my friend, showered with Letterman. I did. All right, and this is not a kiss and tell thing. You just, you kept it clean. And but when you looked over and you saw him in the nude, okay? Yeah. People say that in the nude, he looks a lot like Buddy Ebsen would look. Well, this are very thin and kind of sad. Was that your voice of it? He was epson like. That's a good that's a good analogy. So me thinks he may have been naked at the gas station that day. Is this how you know this? No, no, no. He was fully clothed at the gas station. As was I, I just want to say. Well, listen, all right. We've had our fun here. You, my friend Keith, I've had you on this program before. You write serious stuff at wine patch dot org. And so this is just a long comic intro. I want people to go to wine patch dot org, you blog there, your stuff is great. I have shared it. If people do have a new piece there, I'm trying to remember, what do you have right now? You have already shared the most recent one. What's it going on? A new one. Was right now. What's the reason one called the most recent one? Is Christ divided or is it just us? That's pretty heavy. There's nothing funny about that. There's nothing funny about that. No, I've shared your stuff in there. I wanted to just to give my audience an opportunity to know that people are looking for what do I read? What do I think? We're living in really crazy times. And your stuff has just been terrific. Every couple of weeks or whatever you've been writing these blogs. And you know me. I wouldn't just say this just because you're a friend. In fact, being my friend, I hold that against you. So it's just like really, it has to be extra good. So if people go to, what is it? Wine patch dot org, wine patch dot org. And you have to click on the left hand side. There's a teeny teeny word that says blog, almost as if you're ashamed of this. Like you're trying to hide it. Right? We may have to find a new platform for it. I think you need, but anyway, I want people to go because your stuff is great. So what's the title of the last one, say it again? Is Christ divided or is it just us? And I've been really taken up with, you know, look, we all know nationally and politically, we're fiercely divided right now. It's a fierce time of division. My concern has been within the church. And I'm watching the church take the same lines that are happening in the nation. And that's not the case is about wine patch dot org. My friend Keith jinta, thank you. Eric great to see you. I'll give a little bit of my love to you..

"Dot com. Hey folks, as you know, this show that I'm doing really means to be an homage to the great late night talk shows that I've admired over the years. Number one being David Letterman. So we try to get a Letterman on the show and I got to tell you we were not even close, not even close. To getting him on the show, and I thought, but you know what? Who cares? Because I got an ace in the hole. I got something in my back pocket. You ready for this? A very good friend of mine. A very good friend of 30 years, Keith junta. He's been on this program before. Keys about 30 years ago, showered with David Letterman, and I said, wouldn't it be TV magic if I could get Keith junta my friend? To tell us the inside story of showering with the great icon. The legend David Letterman. So I try to get Keith to come on the program. And guess what? He couldn't come on either. But I said, wait a minute, wait a minute. Here's something Keith will do because he's a friend. He will come on Skype and he'll talk to me. And he's here now, Keith genta, welcome to the program. Eric, it's good to see you. Listen, let's get right to it, my friend. You showered with a comedy legend. Can you take us back in time? How did this happen? Did you plot and plan this or did it just happen? This was my brush with greatness, and David Letterman has always been, I mean, you've already said it. My favorite interviewer, comedian of all times. Outside of you outside of me in Seinfeld about your marks and a few others. But okay, so at the time this happened, you already were like, just honored to even think that you might someday meet him, but somehow something happened, what happened, that let you into the moist naked presence of this genius. And this is a true story. So David Letterman would come to the YMCA three four nights a week after taping the show in New York, and I was often at the why. Wait a minute. I'm talking about this is in new Canaan, Connecticut. This is the new Canaan sea. I was living there at the time. We were friends. That's right. You just happened to go to the Y and tell us the rest of the story. I was at the Y a lot during those days, and we knew that Letterman would come in. The Y closed at ten, and he would come in about 9 30, 9 35, and he would race to the pool and swim laps. And the way to the pool is through the shower through the locker room. And he would do this was a routine for him every night came in alone, and he would swim lap, so I happened to be in the shower. One night, a few minutes before ten. Okay, so you weren't hiding there for hours. You just happen to be there when he showed up. Yeah? Yeah. And so Dave comes into the shower. And I mean, this is David Letterman, who's got the build of Michael Phelps. I mean, he's got giant flipper. Actually, I know this is true. I know that swims like three miles in 20 minutes. It's amazing to see this man rifle through a pool. It's incredible. So you're in the shower showering and what happens like you look over and suddenly Letterman is there. And Dave is there, and you try not to look. I mean, you're trying not to fail, but you fail, I did fail. And here's the humility of David Letterman. This is all true. He could have paid the extra couple of bucks and joined the men's club. But he came into the commoners shower area. There we all were together in the big mass hall of humiliation. And Dave had no qualms about that. And listen. And he's laboring with guilt because he knows that being so famous and so rich, it's crushing its crushing. He doesn't know what to do with that. So he thinks the least I can do is shower with the commoners. So you glance over was he already in the process of showering? And by the way, did he share in a way that you would consider funny? It was hilarious. He was silently cracking jokes the entire time. He just came to himself. He can't help himself. He can't help himself. And so I left the room. I was able to grab a couple of relics. I have a few artifacts from that night. If you don't mind. So he did use the official late night Letterman. Okay,.

"Yeah. Here's where I think a lot of people have I think a wrong view of Donald J Trump. You know how I originally was thinking about writing in the book and titling it behind closed doors. Donald Trump is a true patriot. I mean, he really believes in America. He believes in America first and what's good for America will be once our set well here in the United States and we're good externally as well with all of our allies going forward. But he's a big believer in the American ideal in hand going forward. And I saw that with him. And I saw when he was in private, we had now and just talk about America and the way it was when I was with him on the 2015 2016 campaign. I saw that with him and the way he was. And he's just he's a uniquely an American individual. And what he wants for America. And I think when he came into Washington, D.C., I think he had been into Washington D.C., a total of 17 times never spent his night in his entire life here. Until he became president. Remember, he was a guy who wasn't even studied by the group. But student body president, the first time he became president he was president of the United States. And I think a lot of people that are in the Washington environment representative or feared that because we had somebody who was a true outsider a true populist who would come in. And I think people were so because of that people were trying to take your pot shots at him. I'm not supporting what he wanted to do. And when I changed uniquely American, you know, he just wanted to do what was right for America. Let me give you a quick story here. Actually, we're going to go to a break forgive me when we come back. I want to hear this story folks. We're talking to general Keith Kellogg, the book, brand new book, war by other means. This is the Eric metaxas show. To the limit hey folks Eric metaxas here. Joe Biden and the Democrats have laid out the most socialist agenda, our country has ever seen. "The tv truck. It's anything but poor. Well i like until a football game right. You got your first quarter where. You're golfers like every thursday friday and then there's the cut but you've got to kind of film every year on tv. For how many hours right. So you don't really at the end in the fourth quarter when it gets exciting and you know the leaders are right every day. It's probably a little easier to film that then absolutely in the beginning. You're just trying to figure out. Who am i gonna shoot. How did you figure that out why you kinda go in with a plan and so you know what was what was mike. Tyson's fame sign. Everybody's got plant. They get hit the mouth or whatever you have a plan because the pairings the groupings come out on wednesday and you're on the air on thursday like say you're at a time might be from one to four from two five or from noon to five and with those early days in the golf channel we kind of had a a motto. Were lucky enough. That we didn't have a sixty minutes to have to go to or any kind of show any other network show off kind of drove the train so they were constantly around the for six eight ten hours and if and we'd sit through rain delays like we wouldn't go away we'd sit there and do interviews but you kind of have a plant. So you have a grouping sad you know there's two or three groups that are going to be in your tv window and you build your kind of build a plan around those guys and the tour was nice enough to kind of make sure that the that bigger name players were playing in the tv window or the guys that you kind of figure. We're going to have a chance to win the tournament. Even though it was thursday or friday So then you go on the air with that plan and then all of a sudden those guys played terrible and somebody on the other side of the golf courses. Lighten it up. So you gotta rearrange. Shift the cameras. You know your whole plan goes out the window you try and do that and throughout the course of my eighteen years golf channel the technology in in broadcasting in sports television in television in general but especially in sports television as you know having. I'm sure you still watch. Nfl games or amazed by what they do now with with with things but in golf it was really when i first started and i hate to go too much into the weeds. But you can only like. I said they're a bunch of guys playing at the same time in the wave in the afternoon waiver. When you're on the air there could be seventy guys playing golf so you can only show. Obviously one of them at a time right so and one of them live at a time. And when i first started. We had four videotape machines. That would record the golf so when the producer a guy named andy young who was my mentor was showing us for at on the twelfth. Green putting for birdie. It was my job to find. Four other shots than i thought andy and he would tell me to save record this record that record this so he could put those that piece of that puzzle back together showing the take shots around the live shots and this was i gather real right here. How many how many cameras were actual video tape machine on machine recording golf shots just you know and the technology was such that you had to record it. So you push playing record Tape tape operated. He'd push playing record record gusts ferraro's second shot at twelve. That would last anywhere between twelve and thirty seconds depending on what happened. You'd give a little bit of pad at the end of it. And then have to stop the machine. Rewind the machine at it up and for to get ready for playback so all this technology rest now. This has gone the way of digital prices that can record and playback up to six things at once. So there's no more you know letting shot go through stopping rewinding it for playback now it's just it can play and record at the same time yet. Already made it easier harder on the gashes and it's so much easier you know because you never have to wait. You know the producer not doesn't have to wait for that other shot to finish to screw up his timing or figure out where he's going to go next is always there ready to go in you. Have things like ball tracer now and you. Have you know how faster swing was so. There's a lot that the people can talk about besides just watching them hit. Yeah absolutely and that's the other part of technology exchange that in the cameras again. I feel like i'm the guy that said. When i i went to school i walked uphill. You know through the snow both ways but you know we are cameraman. We used to lay up to one hundred hundred thousand feet of cable on a golf course and our camera guys would have sections of cable. So there'd be a cable at the t. You'd run to the fairway there'd be another cable from the fairway to the green so our camera guys that were out walking with the groups would plug in at the t. Shoot the shot. Unplug getting a car. Go after the fairway beat the players get to their spot on the fairway plug ins so then we could see the shot again and once called radio frequency technology our our technology came twenty years ago whereas all of a sudden if a camera. There was a receiver and a transmitter transmitter on the camera receiver high up around the golf course and if that camera could see that you could get a picture so all the sudden now you can get a picture from anywhere on the golf course without having to plug in and unplug cables so that was technology that really helped often and but the the tracer technology and the ball speed. We used i. It was my brilliant idea at one point to get the baseball jug skin and we thought because we were turn on time and we pulled into the compound and there was a california highway patrolman there with his radar gun. And i was like well. He measures the speed of the car. You know coming at him. I wonder if we could use something like that. To measure the speed of the golf ball going away. So i called the people at jugs and they sent us a couple of guns and it turned out that it actually worked. We could measure the ball speed when the guy teed off track man right so now. It's of like yeah. The precursor to track was a volunteer sitting. Behind the d-box women jugs gun pointed at. You should have just had a state like would been like state troopers day off coming and they will come on the course where your uniform you can measure all right. That's a good idea. He would have been good attic. Used to work in the darn thing. Right exactly exactly. Hey everyone thank you for listening We're gonna take a quick commercial break. We're talking with author emmy winning producer keith.

Blackheart is a Saas platform that is helping retailers not charge their customers. It's a try before you buy concept, so the retailers get to send product to their customers, and it does not hit there. Credit cards, So it's very interesting. So don't go away on this week's cyber tip. I'm gonna dive into what's been going on with the colonial pipeline. Incident, which is where the colonial pipeline serves a major port of Serves a major part of oil supply to the Eastern seaboard. The United States they were Attacked with ransomware in order to be safe. They shut down the entire operation, causing oil prices to spike due to lack of supply. Well in that the CEO Joseph Blount decided on behalf of the company to pay 4.4 million in ransomware in the equivalent of 75 Bitcoins. So he paid that in order to get the keys unlock all the information. What's more interesting is has now been found out that the FBI they were able to recover 63.7. Of the 75 Bitcoin that was used to pay his ransom. Now the question is, How does the FBI do that when Bitcoin is supposedly anonymous, with getting into too much detail, apparently the FBI and some other investigation Had access to this ransomware, a gang that they have their private keys to the crypto currency. And so with that private keys, they will be able to unlock their digital wallet and take The Bitcoin that had not yet been moved, which was 63.7. So it just goes to show that even for the people who think they're smart, even the people that have all these systems in place, even the thieves can be also have their Cryptocurrency stone. "Back on sci-fi talk with dr peter keith. Apparently there is more references than just the name of the ship ulysses but also an artificial intelligence called odysseus. So yeah you're in homer territory a little bit there. Yeah i really am I wa- i'm i'm a huge fan of the classics earliest classics Gilgamesh the iliad. The odyssey and i find named So i have a background. Believe it or not at education psychology and i find the evolution of human thought. Fascinating as this series progresses. Sears goes from that that first book which is very grounded to a second book where they have an encounter acupressure which is which is the name of it which brings things further into the kind of world of of craziness while still saying staying grounded. These these same people that you experienced in that first book who you know who worked the problem in very scientific ways and now they encounter in the second book of problem that maybe they can't understand you know As i said in the beginning this is kind of a little bit. Like you know. Carl sagan star trek which would have been a lot more like two thousand one space odyssey to me and of course two thousand one a space odyssey jupiter counter there. And there's no finer science fiction film than that. But i always wondered what if that wasn't really there for us. You know what if you had an encounter with something that was you know as enigmatically alien and difficult to understand and possibly impossible understand but back to the question about the home eric aspects of the book it also this kind of ties in with it. It's it's the unknown and the idea of the unknown and the title wind. Dark deep of course comes from. That's a little bit of cal you know. That's that's a Ulysses his lowest And you know railing at the gods know whatever seek me in that wind dark deep and i will rise back up but it also goes down to the paradox in that very title. It's it's variously translated wine. Dark sea wind dark deep depths. But that and that's the ocean and the ocean is not red. Wine is red. It turns out that the ancient proto greeks and as a matter of fact most ancient peoples do not have a word for blue. They couldn't see it. It was a a differentiation of green or the darkness of red in the darkness of the blue was the same thing to them and it makes us recognize. That blue is a concept. It's a color. The electromagnetic spectrum is just that it's a spectrum somewhere along the way human beings learn to discern blues from greens. But that is not how we started. And so that's a little bit of hint to as they progress into this more realistic more fantastic world. You know step by step from the realistic into the fantastic. There are things that.

"And you know. And they're on a very you know important mission there on a scientific mission to jupiter and as they are making their last About to make their last refueling stop in and these are the ulysses is a eureka class interplanetary spacecraft as was designed for these museum exhibits it uses a system by which automated refueling. Tankers are launched far far in advance. Either the moon or from series and series of course is hosts a massive sub service ocean as we've As it seems to be Whether that's in actual fluids or it's in bryan salts either way it's it's a tremendous amount of water there and so we have a situation where these miners who live farther than any human being has ever lived have been working building place and feel that they have rights in. They have rights that they don't that that are not being respected by the companies who rightfully had paid for this paid for the construction of these these surface installation in these huge centrifuge habitats to enable them to to live comfortably on the surface there. And so what happens is that they're the fuel tankers. Don't show who and they have a choice. They're given a choice by series that we're not going to send them where we're using you as a pawn and using your mission as a pawn in pushing our rights with the earth and by by causing the failure of this spectacular mission. We're that's how we're going to get more concessions from earth and perhaps Independence and cal is not the kinda guy to deal with that you know. He's an old school. Ninety two percent of people fail to keep that resolutions ninety-two percent. Ed Fail which is why I say yours will almost certainly fail. You'll most likely to be in the ninety two percent but it doesn't have to be that way. I'M GONNA take a look at that in this episode. We're going to look at why so many New Year's resolutions fail. I want to look at what you can do to you. The absolute best chance of succeeding and this this. This is a big thing. I mean there's even a day Seventeenth of January is international ditch on New Year's resolution day precisely because so many people fail to keep them so I was saying you should make resolutions anytime racist topic. I get quite a few people. Say how dare you tell people. I'm not to make New Year's resolutions. You should be encouraging people to make New Year's resolutions. I'm not telling you not to make them. You WanNa make go ahead and make them what I am doing is looking to give you the absolute best chance to succeed because look it will be foolish to set out and do something knowing. The today show, of course featured on siriusxm featured on a and E your pal in mine. Christian finnegan. Hello, Keith Hello, Christian. It's thank you for having me mild-mannered. That's mild, mild, is my middle name. Well, glad you have the serious voice. Because don't sure how to bring this up last time you're on. We were talking about how parkland victims and sandy hit comedy. Now that they're, you know. Grown, Columbine victims. They're committing suicide because they can't deal with what happened. So long ago, a China say that PTSD Israel police Keith can we start the show? This is. All the time, like midway through the introduction. Still you've done fifty percent of your work. All right. Also joining us featured on Gotham comedy, live foxes Red Eye. Siriusxm the Edinburgh fringe festival. Celebrating by the way, one year of getting Kice flesh salami. Very exciting key. Right. Chris infant. Cala cossio. How're you doing Kyle? Last year. You develop the worst credit, which is Keith dig. And I'm so sorry. I'll every time I come on. No matter what I've accomplished or done. This is all I get. It's weird that in my legs credit. Yeah. It's kind of a sad thing when you're, you're the love of your life, does not to pronounce the word Edinburgh, but it's, it's fine. Fine there. He wasn't invited. No. It's the way the word literally changes you know, if we all start pronouncing things the way they look. Why would you can't you just keep saying toll it? It's going to catch on. You'll see wait. You're agreeing that he says toilet weird right? Yeah. Yeah. Say toilet no bridge dot com. I don't have to. The commode. Yom is trying to get me to say the T word. Right. What does that mean? Don't pro. Is that it's where the magic happens? How is your mother's day car terrible? That sounds like mother's day. Who did good though? You got me something he got. You've got me twizzlers and salami and unfortunate. Now, I card and Twix Twix and. Massive, and and bath bombs. Thank you. Well, she seems thrilled honestly, really? It seems she's jumping out of her seat here. The it was the least you can do. No, he did the math and that was literally. I love getting gifts from drains doing. People are acting like you get things free at way, Marie. You still gotta pay money. These things. It's funny how much credit he wants for the shitty thing, while it's not hard competition with her three kids. All what he did. He goes, I better kids are gonna suck. So here's a Duane Reade piece of shit. At least I got a separate card, then those little monsters, one card for three kids gave her chocolate eight chocolate themselves. If you mix up your kids gives in case gifts, would you be able to know the difference like them out of a bag anyway?.

"Nine zero zero. And Keith you mention building a circuit breaker into your investment strategy. Can you tell us more about that? You know? I did I gave it a give it away. Didn't I four is? And you're gonna love this name. I hopefully, they'll let me say it on the radio don't play without protection. Don't do it. But it's true don't play without protection. And I'm talking about investments, of course. Of course, come on. What else would I be talking about? But you've got to have asset protection plan in place. It's very important. You can't just you wouldn't do wouldn't ride a motorcycle without a helmet. You wouldn't jump out of a plane without a parachute? You've got to have asset protection as part of your overall retirement master plan as part of your investment plan. I always say the three legs to the investment retirement stool, the planning which I've covered in depth the investment platforms number two, which I've just covered. And number three is asset protection, we use wealth guard, which has that asset protection system. I just talked about. And it really is. It's a circuit breaker, you need that don't just say. Oh, well, no when the market's going down, and I'll get out of the market, you won't you definitely won't. I can't tell you. I wish I had a nickel for every time. Somebody said she knew the market was going down new with it. Didn't know you just don't you think? And no one has time to sit in front of that computer screen, again, the point of today's show Keith is we want you out there. And we want you to be able to spend what you work so hard for it. Enjoy life and not be stuck to that computer screen or watching the financial news every day trying to guess what the market's going to do next. You've gotta find that fine. Balance of how much can I spend. So you don't I broke, of course, unless you know, exactly what you're going to die. So right that left checks. What bounces or you don't want to much money left over.
