Yep, those great teams with Jason Kidd, Keith Van Horn, Kenyon Martin was the was Jason Williams with him, then no, No, he was It was after he shot the guy. That was now that was the Jason Kidd teams and in 2003, they actually played the San Antonio Spurs and lost in the MBA finals. But the before that now, you showing off into 1002. They lost to Shaq and Kobe and the Lakers and this great song, the Rising? My final answer is 2002. We tried to warn you, but thanks for playing along. You wish you went, said the sauce. "That is a match made in heaven. As Dwyane Wade said. Jimmy is a Miami got here. The Miami Heat guy at forest Course. There is concern. They couldn't have got a guy they could have brought a guy in Like Jimmy Butler. They had this type of influence. Across the board. He hasn't still confidence and everyone on that roster. That's the sign of a true leadership to me. You know, I was trying to come up with a few names and, you know, we always do this. We see a player It's a white player. I got to get the white player calm black player on black, So you and I hope we have gotten away from them like not every white player we have to say, is Larry Bird like that was like, Oh, Keith Van Horn is Larry Bird was right, you know, But Tyler heroes a guy who's game does cross over and I see the way he works. The screens. I see a little Reggie Miller, but he's smaller, a little Ray Allen, but he's not what is explosive you played. Who does? Tyler here will remind you of a little Rex Chapman. Maybe. Who is it? I don't know. I tell you what I didn't know, fellas, and that would be lying to you about that. There's that they drafted difference between the college game in the pro game. And what I mean by that is I had no idea that Tyler hero had all of this in his offensive bash. No idea because in college, you could just donut guy. You gonna sit five guys in late in the NBA with the floor opens up. And it gives you an opportunity to break guy down off the drug. I had no idea Bambaataa Bio head in a day Coast, Calipari said this yesterday. Is there anybody who tells you that they saw this in Bamako Bio. It's smoking correct because there's a difference between the college dame and the pro game as far as the floor being open. I don't know. Like I can't compare time hero. He has a little bit of a lot of God in a game. What I like about hero outside of this skill set. Is this swagger? Yep. That's one of the things that he has carried over from the University.

"He was a four time pro bowler with Washington. He is one of the greats in franchise history. A member of Washington football's Ring of Fame in Washington is celebrating. A week after last week and emotional win a comeback victory over the hated eagles. Joining us this morning on the show is Charles, Man, Charles. Good Morning. Good Morning name. And how you doing? I'm doing great doing great. Thanks So much for joining us always love our conversations in When we go back to last week. What did it make you feel to see? Your former team that's fallen on hard times recently summon the ability to come back against the Eagles and and do it in dramatic fashion. I'll tell you what, you know that first half didn't feel too good. It felt like the same old, you know, Washington football team. And I stuck it out with them. And, you know, started seeing some things happen. You know we we scored a touchdown off the turnover. And if you win the turnover battle, you always were goingto win. You had three turnovers to none. On the other side, you're going to win the game most often than not so. I was. I was very pleasant to see it very happy. I thought Ron Rivera did a great job. Uh, something happened at half time, and it always used to happen at halftime with us as well. Agent Gibbs coached teams Richie Pettibone, as our defence coordinator would make half time adjustments. I don't know if there was any halftime adjustments in this game. I think there was a motivational speech at halftime, which really got them going. The hope is that Iran, Rivera is able to instill a winning culture changed the culture. From what has happened Over the last couple of years. You played for two franchises where the culture was already set. You get to Washington after they'd already won a Super Bowl. And you got to San Francisco when they were in the midst of that Great dynasty. What was the common thread between the two that you saw that created the winning culture? It starts in the locker room, You know? Ah locker room had a bunch of leaders. And you have some vocal some by action are monk with a great leader, but he didn't say two words. He just showed up every day work hard. When I went to the 40 Niners, Jerry Rice didn't say anything but work hard every day. Quick story. You know, I'm one of the last people to leave out the locker room. You know what I said, and film study and And lifted weights and all the things I would do. And I was walking out of the facility in San Francisco, and it was starting to get a little dark and I look up and I see Jerry Rice job being around the The perimeter of the practice facility. I mean, and this is like 2.5 3 hours after practice when people are gone home Coach is the only ones left. You know, That's the kind of attitude did you have to have and You know, I think you know Ron Rivera's instilling in them. Look, I got you for four months. Give me everything you've got, even on you on your off days and at nighttime think football. You know, because we're in the middle of a pandemic, and all it takes is one or two guys to go out and hang out Whatever come back and infect the whole team, and you know, there goes the season. Charles Mann, a standout defensive end for Washington over the course of his career, three time Super Bowl champion, joining us this morning here on CBS Sports Radio. Speaking around, Rivera, You have a fun history with him. I'm sure from your standpoint because he was part of that 85 Bears team. And those great teams of the eighties in Chicago, and it felt like they were a machine that could not be stopped. And twice. You guys did exactly that in 86 87. You guys went to soldier field. Gotta win and knock them out of the postseason. That was again in an era where people didn't think that you could beat the 85 bears. How sweet was it to be able to do that back to back seasons? What was the secret recipe? Well, one words you know Daryl Daryl greens iconic, Um, interception return for touchdown, where he where he toward the car, the cartilage from his rib cage. He's holding his waist. What he's running and running past everybody. And then one of the games. People by not remember. I had, like three sacks against Keith Van Horn, one of their great often, Lyman Ah, and you know, it just couldn't be stopped in that game, so there were some great defensive Plays that really I really believe our defence is what won those games for us, and it was pleasant to see you know, Washington football team's defense one game for them in this past week. You know, must have been also of maybe motivational factor for you guys. You guys had a very good defense yourself. Dexter Manley, Darrell Green, just a few of the all Pro's pro bowlers. You guys really had a physical, hard hitting, swarming defense. It must have been a motivation to hear all about the 85 bears. The big bad bear is the Super Bowl shuffle bears. And then I know that you guys had a pretty good defense as well and bring your lunch buckets and get those winds at 86 87. You know, it's It's a tough guy. I mean, this used to be, and I'm not sure if it's same anymore, but back in the day it was, you know. You were a tough guy to play this game and play it injured. I mean, I look at my career, my 12 year career I've injured every season. You may not have known it, but I was injured. But I remember going into that game the the time where we beat them when they were reigning champs in Soldier Field. I remember walking out for the pre the pre game warm up. And it was bitter cold. I mean, it was bitter cold that they had trash cans out there. They're one fire that you could, you know, come up to and get some meat from I went out for pre game and I normally did not. I never in my career war sleep. Long sleep, So I went out there and Mani Coleman and I both went out. We got our gun showing on extra weight work out that way, and I go out there, man, and I'm looking at him and he looked at me and I'm like, Oh, God, There's anytime I make change up my things. And I went in the locker room We put on Vassili in on our face. We covered our ear holes on our helmets with tape and I went out in the first series. They called a timeout. Charged the Redskins with a time out, and I had to go to the fine line of white ball that battellino what I remember. It was bitter cold. You get somebody your teeth hurt. Oh, they were tough guy. We were tough guys back then..

"Stories some. Don't we end each week? Show with one of these two cents. The hot take down rabbit hole of the week. Neil take it away sure so this week I wanted to use the rabbit hole to plug in interactive. That will be launching soon. It's by a colleague. Visual Journalists Ryan best and we know visual interactive's they work great in the podcast medium But I'll try do my best to talk through the data and the interesting things that he found so basically he's been gathering data on all NBA player contracts at five hundred and fourteen contracts to be exact To plot their salaries against their production as measured by you guessed it raptor and so according to his analysis I there were some obvious. Clusters of players that jumped out. There were the superstars Who are earning every penny of their huge deals. These are players that are getting paid at least about seventeen million dollars and are on pace to have a at least ten wins above replacement by the end of the season is currently only nine players in that category and the three most cost effective superstars in the league have been no surprise. James Harden Lebron James and John Under CUCO. You've heard of those are the one through three in raptor war in general and I think it selling because due to the MAC salary rule in the NBA's collective bargaining agreement. You basically can never pay these megastars enough money to really fairly compensate them for the amount of value that they generate so the NBA is basically made. Lebron a bargain as amazing as that is to say. There's two other classes of really cost effective players. There's young stars who are still on their rookie contract. So Luca Danni jumps out in that and then hidden gems like Dunkin Robinson of the heat. These guys are on super cheap deals. Maybe they were undrafted. Maybe they drafted really late generating a ton of value and you can build a whole team around these types of players. Miami actually has done that a lot getting tons of production out of younger cheaper guys next to Jimmy Butler. Of course and they currently had the League's eighth best efficiency margin but we aren't really here to focus on those good players providing value to their teams. We want to talk about the opposite kind of players. Those who have been raking in the cash but not really playing well or at all in a lot of cases so in. Ryan's research found that there were fifty players this year that are getting paid a combined. Two hundred thirty four million dollars despite not playing a single game. Zero game played between all these players now. A lot of it can be explained by injuries. So John Wall Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson alone. Make up one hundred eight million of the two hundred and thirty four. There's some funny ones on there Like for instance players who are being paid a ton ton of money but are literally not on the team that is paying them anymore. So Miles plumlee. He's getting paid twelve point. Five million dollars by the grizzlies right now. And he's currently playing for the Perth wildcats of Australia's National Basketball League and meanwhile Josh Smith you guys remember Josh Smith He hasn't played an NBA game. In eight hundred fifty four days. But he's being paid five point three million dollars by the Pistons this year and so those are the least cost effective players in the game. Because you can't really help a team if you are literally not in the NBA. Maybe you're helping the team by not play. Well yeah I mean you know. We saw some of those Josh Smith shooting years from three but the Josh Smith Tidbit also made me think of a really funny footnote from NBA. History just speaking of players who paid despite not being in basketball so I thought back to a particular trade in February. Two Thousand Eight. That made Keith. Van Horn four point. Three million dollars despite not having played a single game in two years so the mavs needed to make trade. It was Jason Kidd trade with the nets and they needed to match salaries. I thought they'd had things worked out. But then one of their players used his bird rights to decline a trade and block it and they knew they needed to scramble to match the salaries or the trade would fall through. And it's very near the deadline so they called up. Keith van Horn. We'll probably keep van. Horn's agent and a used a cap hold that they had on him and a cap hold is when a team holds onto. They never officially renounce players rights. They just hold onto them. They're almost certainly retired by that point. But they keep them if especially if they're over the cap in order to potentially include them in a trade to match salaries because salaries have to match within plus or minus twenty five percent of the amount going in and out. So all of. This was to say that Keith. Van Horn's four point three million dollars salary. Cap Hold was then used to match the salary with Jason Kidd Trade and so one day. Keith van Horn two years after playing got a call from his agent was like Keith. I got good news for you today. You just made four point three million dollars and all he had to do was like fly to New Jersey take physical or something fail the physical obviously and then and then you know he he. He was able to cash that money in and it used to be a very common practice. I think it's a little bit less so now but especially for teams that were over the salary cap for a long period of time to just hold on to these players cap holds and the players of course they would never officially file their retirement papers with the league. Because that would sort of you know end. The possibility to use them as a cap hold and so it was a mutually beneficial thing because even though it was rare on the off chance that they needed to be included in a trade. Keith Van Horn Style. They could potentially make money off of it so as recently as twenty fourteen. I WanNa read off some names to you. That were still on. The Los Angeles Lakers list of Cap holds okay. Ron Harper. Remember this is twenty fourteen. Karl Malone Theo ratliff Horace Grant John Salley Mitch Richmond. All of those guys could theoretically have been included in a trade that the Lakers made as recently as two thousand fourteen even though they were like stars of the nineteen nineties NBA. And I'm not sure if they close this up in the most recent CBA. But it always fun to me to think that potentially Karl Malone could have made one point eight million dollars like a decade plus after he played in the NBA if he'd been included in a trade and yeah. I really love that. I feel like other employers should do that. I think five hundred age gap like cold. The contract rights. This is someone just in case we need to make a trade with the New York Times so we can like Trade Harry and yeah. Yeah you know we'd have a capital. We we get anything from CNN. We let them go as we thought we could be. Signed him right. We should've trade him with a year to go really misplaced. Yeah who was our GM? At that time I don't know if that will do it for this week's show. Thank you.

The Steph Curry comparisons are unfair to Trae Young, but they won't go away

"We now safely say the trae young is the next steph curry. I if you want to. I don't know there's so many other things that I have to worry about. I don't if you WANNA do that. Go ahead you'RE NOT GONNA I'm not GonNa Yell at you and go. He's not the next steph curry. I do like this though the approaches. Yeah but does he play defense? Can we stop with this? How many how many guys play defense in the NBA? But let me stop somebody in crunch time. Can anybody stop him by being declared the next anybody? You're already less than them. Because that's your title like Steph. Curry was the first do it that way and so the next curry means you're automatically below them. You're an imitator. I mean it's great. He's fantastic player but he's basically modeling his craft. Well that's why you don't want people were there. Everybody's looking for the next Larry Bird. Mike member Keith. Van Horn as the next Larry Bird now. Luca Danni checks next Larry Bird. No LUCA IS DIFFERENT THAN LARRY. Bird he might be better than Larry. Bird a when it's all said and done on out there we keep waiting for the next Michael Jordan. Kobe became the original. The first Koby we keep going. Oh He's the next and and you're not who is ever the next. We love comparisons. We love cops but it doesn't always work that way and usually if it's a white guy who's good then you find another white guy who is you know got similar skillset. Glad Yeah. Googles is the next Larry Bird UNC. But until that person becomes the first they're always going to be on next you know because you haven't seen it yet so it hasn't even been identified. When do you graduate to? I'm no like when did Kobe. He's not the next Jordan. He's Kobe did he. Oh I think he did well. No he wasn't the next. Nobody's the next Jordan. You can't be now possible now if you want to say. He plays like him great when Kobe went black. Mamba then he became the original Kobe. And he wasn't the next Michael Jordan. Because we realize there's not going to be another Larry Bird just not. There'll be players who might be similar. Might be better. But there's that's the original Muhammed Ali. This not the original. Might be guys who turn out to be better. But they're the originators. Yeah pulling yeah like Koby Bryant. He he appeared to watch documentaries he admittedly modeled everything after Michael Jordan and he came up about this short of having an equal career to Michael Jordan. If you look I mean considering how close he was to the time of Michael Jordan. He over and he was really close to having an equal career.

One of my favorite things about that trade that nobody remembers was the contract that he. Keep bogans got a free money, right? And didn't what was what was was Kris Humphries? "Six start. Flipping? That we wake up on Saturday. And we watch our college football teams do bad all. And. I don't like to get into the whole conversation. You know what's better out there college? Ball or the way because simply is not I like the neatness of the NFL, I like the top skill level. I like the subtle rule differences that college. The ball present like the overtimes. I like that there is no two minute warning. Which is an other built in commercial thirty teams going out there and playing basically every. We staggered the schedule yet by weeks you have things that make it so that you're, you know, there aren't fifty seven games every week. Others. About thirty five. Existed in face school football. You know where I grew up in the Cleveland area in north. Still high. Oh, where games are played on Thursday out of respect to those celebrating. Russia shot, which is, you know, you, you could play out. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, if you're in the mid American conference and. That's how you get for a MAC game in November. And it really stinks because. Look at someplace northern Illinois. They've got three Saturday home games in. To support the college football team. It's probably an added perk. It's definitely an added perk. If you can be a scholarship football player in that program. Man, you know, you can get the exposure, you know, scholarships are limited. Other even more limited when you get to division two. And then they are restricted when you division three. So. Artificial. Caps that school could you whatever? Ons, basically could continue to give away free education, but it's not going to do that. It's good. It's going to stay within the parameters. You've seen the program but it's not a Athletic Association. I'll just put it that way with the double a at. The ad. Some of the rules are. That that's not something the radical that's. Jason Keith Van horn. We have pasta gate at ten state where we determined that we were over compensated, the players with pasta. Shabazz knee. Shabazz Napier adds up. I'm going to listen to the Y on and the shortsighted. As the crow flies path to. The solution for forgetting about it. Any type of collateral damage so it's, it's click here by this. And we add up. We end up thinking that we're solving a problem that maybe. Isn't something that's act. You'll be because we're very we're very binary. We are. We are zeros and ones with pay the players don't pay the players. And we don't need to. We don't need to take these hard lines. Maybe everybody should be on the one side of the equation. Everybody should be in on listening. Now, my concern concern is you start throw it out paychecks. What do you do the budgets? What are you doing to the competitive level? What are you doing? For that, for that guy that wants to go to Vanderbilt Stanford Duke. Football scholarship. What are what if those types of schools, can't make the payroll because they don't know program. That's that's worth the buck. I mean, I, I am I like baseball's model the best with no salary cap in its survival of the fittest. Usually means big markets usually means little markets like mining Cleveland. Get strewed. Attic, definitely see that happening with college. "And we've flying. Out of sportscenter, and you're sort of measuring like what's the top of the show is that Brady and Bella check. Or is it Porzingis and Anthony Davis and the combination of Anthony Davis and having the Lakers involved? That's like news on steroids. But even like, the Blake Griffin trade was a big deal and it came out of nowhere. And it's prize everybody, but it was over. And then you talked about the aftermath. The Davis thing may be with us for a while. And so it's like, you know, like trademark it is a sport unto itself. People forget the games around some nights into saving graces that. The trade deadline is not after the all-star borough that we wouldn't have three more weeks of this that we actually get we'll we'll have some closure, and then we'll worry about who's going to get out and go from there. But in in lead into we'll talk down and wrote about it will lead into a fascinating summer of big name free agents out there. Probably one of the better classes that we will see in the big big markets in New York, and Brooklyn and LA. Chicago. I mean, we have a show for ten cents, which is our Chinese partner. And I do this kind of by monthly show now for them in one of the things sometimes I'd like to hear stories and they're asking me for my all star game memories. And I don't have him because most all weekends there prior to the trade that line, and I'm thinking what about that? I a all star game. And I'm like also weekend. I'm going all I remember is it was a prelude to the Carmelo Anthony trade, and I really just remember being in my room on the phone and all those also weakens our prior to the trade deadline like I'm like, I don't have all star memories. I just remember being on my phone somewhere. But now it is better. It's post deadline. You got the buyout stuff? But it's not quite as intense. You can actually walk outside for a few minutes. See the sun, and we could probably think that the Marcus cousin straight from a couple years ago on why the NBA changed rule when cousin basic needed. So that was an easier. I was home. I remember, bro. That I didn't go to that game. I was home which made it easier to remember work on that. Oh, you know what I was there? I was flying home. I remember I start reporting on a plan. Remember, I was struggling to get wifi. So that's how I remember. These all star weekends is the moment. Right. That I have wifi or not well, probably mine is that we probably chain Jason Kidd weight during all star weekend. And, you know, not in basically green to deal on Thursday and. I think the all star game was Norrland's that year to and not be able to get a dumb because Devon George win. Wave is no trade and having having I think we had an internship outside his house with paperwork, and he wouldn't because he would have lost bird rights there and Jerry Stackhouse coming out and basically saying that well when I got bought out I'm gonna go right back because you all that whole deal away. I remember being in Rod's office when I came out and said, yeah, wanna get bought I'm gonna just go back to Dallas. And you couldn't you could do that back then. And basically the league said none. You gotta take him out. We could take Devon George out. And then wind up being Keith Van horn on the bike. Yeah. Then sign and trade Keith Van horn would have been retired for three years and they had to change that rule because yes, we game eight million dollars. He sat with a master at circumventing circa venting rules, and certainly breaking the spirit of the rules. Well, it wasn't a rule. So nothing illegal write. Eventually it went into the league Lee NBA legals, no pad. They keep for the next CBA. And that rule was changed eventually, Bobby. We'll we'll see plenty of each other here the next few days, but it's gonna be fun. Always sounds good. Thanks for listening to this episode of the worst part of big..

"Your dream job. You that's not the time to take your foot off the gas. That's the time to actually do the job. Lonzo's game is is somewhat a little bit dependent on the roster around him as well he yes, you want him to make his teammates better. But he's also going to kinda shine when basically guys are making shots, and he's kind of in the groove. But there are things that get him jump started. Like number one. When I look at Lonzo statistics or we just watching his game. I need to see him hit the glass when he hits the glass. Now, he gets the ball the ball's in his hands. We complain a little bit too much this whole narrative entering the season. Where people were like, oh, how is it going to work? Lebron dominates the ball. So as long as Lonzo does not dominate the ball. On fact, Lonzo need the ball in his hands more. He gets rid of it too fast because a hot potato. But when he grabs a ribbon on off the glass, and now he's looking to push. That's when he's engaged when he picks up guys full court ends defending them. That's when he's engaged. And then all of a sudden everything starts to flow there. That's what I like seeing aggressive. Lonzo ball. We don't see Lonzo ball enough where he's like basically probing driving to the lane and then kicking out and finding open teammates and things like that. Sometimes the ball gets to stagnant. And all of a sudden, I think Lonzo gets lost. I understand where Stephen as coming from. Because like you, and I we grew up in the nineties like I said, I was used to saying like if somebody was in front of Jason Kidd at or like, Gary Payton, they would want to murder that other point guard research joins us show. Ben lines phone in Donohoe ESPN LA James Davis coming up at four o'clock. But you gave me another reason why you can't compare Lonzo to Jason Kidd. You said it's roster dependent with Lonzo where he needs the right players around him. Him Jason Kidd Kerry Kittles to the finals, Jason Kidd was playing with Keith Van horn, those guys those guys were offensively pretty good. They just wanted to stay health. But also, Jason Kidd like you said had that not I wanna say it's Mamba mentality. More of a killer mentality. And also the mentality of I'm the best player on the floor. That's really what it is that coming down to the screaming and yelling and being emotional and trash talking and smiling and screaming, Kevin Garnett. The idea of this happened the other night when I went to the game and watch the Lakers when they didn't have LeBron they didn't ever Ondo, they didn't have Kuzina. So what are we gonna do? Just going to sit back and say, well, these games don't cow or we gonna look at them as teaching moments for Lonzo and Brandon Ingram and the young players to find their way. So that maybe this'll be an opportunity for Lonzo to say, I'm the best player on the floor. And he hasn't done that. He hasn't done that consistently in this time when LeBron's banal I talked to somebody from his camp the other day, and I said, hey, what's going on like? Lonzo's assist numbers have been down a little bit. And they were like, well he doesn't have the ball in his hands enough. I was like well. Yeah. When LeBron was healthy. Now when he's not healthy, you still kind of need him to have the ball little bit more his hands. But I understand when Brandon Ingram has to get going..

"Bowl selection that happened recently? Now, we're going on to the NBA and the game. I really wanna go into his nets and Lakers as a guy that the Lakers drafted won the game on a dagger three. And he wasn't on the Lakers. Do you know who I'm talking about? I think I do who is Angelo rose is name is Dan Gelo, Russell bet that was nice for him. That was we'd sweet redemption for him. I guarantee you, and obviously it was like that like when you have like an ex. And then she's like Dayton a new guy. You know, he seem in public. You know? Eight someone hotter. Yeah. But like for Danja wrestle he last night. He was stretching around like, I'm doing pretty good. Two points thirteen. Assists means you're doing pretty well. I don't need. You ain't missing you at all you think that he was like, oh, you can have Lonzo. You can have all that drama be over here. Doing my own thing. You know? Yeah. Well, Lonzo ball himself had twenty three points, six rebounds, three assists, Brown James had thirty six points, thirteen rebounds. Classic outing for him. Lonzo Bata game. I watched most of this game, and he knew of nine threes. He made five three pointers area though, that really what I thought was really funny when I was watching this game. And he was like in the first half. There's there's three or four minute span where he was on fire like he hit I wanna say like four in a row in like two of them are threes. And he wasn't even thinking just pulling up and then like. He he's like on a heat check. Right because he's feeling it. Right. And then he throws too terrible airballs like back to back, and then Luke Walton immediately pulled of the those pretty funny because it was like the announcers, man. Those never shot it like this the next shots. Oh my God. I think they call that regression to the mean, I think I think the heat check just turn out to be cold. I think that's the way to put it. Hey, you know, what though he can shoot the ball? Like you did last night. Then the Lakers will be a lot supposed to Lakers second straight loss in Brooklyn. Nets on a six game winning streak. Right. I don't now the state your your uncle's Brooklyn nets, you know, or, you know, your five years ago Brooklyn nets or your two years ago or your one year ago Brooklyn that's or the New Jersey Nets to oh. That's too soon. Keith Van horn. What about him? He was into the finals. Rushed back. Carter was no, no, no. That was afterwards. I probably now. But they went back to the Lakers. And then they went again in lost. Again. They went back to back lost twice. Did they I don't remember Keith Van horn two thousand three they also the Spurs. Oh, okay. So yeah, they and it was a joke on both the cans swept I believe by. Who was they got like, thank you. I don't know why just blinked on the lakes. The lakers. The Sixers in the net spectacular does two thousand. No, maybe pretty bad. Well, they got swept in Byron Scott was the head coach of that team. The nets team and then they lost in six to Gregg Popovich on the Spurs. You know, what I find interesting about you mentioned Barron, Scott what about he was asked in two thousand one. If if somebody was not a fan of the NBA and you wanted to show them, but you were right? It was the Sixers on that's continue. Byron Scott was asked in two thousand one if you could take somebody to an NBA game to show them like what the NBA's like, you know, he he know where he said that he would take them to where did he he said if I could take anybody to game to show them what the NBA was all about. I would take them to Sacramento, really. He did..
