Unusual Perennials With Far Reaches Farm

"I'm kind of overwhelmed at the possibilities that you have in your list But i did see one sort of like theme ish thing that really caught my eye and recently my friend can drew's and i were talking on the show about some favorite of our early native spring. Perennials were both eastern gardeners. And we both love things with surveys. Arching stems like solomon's seal and such and you have a lot of things like that i think and i don't know if that's intentional. Or if you're obsessed with that too but can we talk about some of them like the polygon items and my anthem and you've you larrea. I die spor homes and whatever. I saw a lot of these things. Tell me about plants that look like that. Let's talk about that. Yeah yeah yeah all of those that whole kind of group. I mean they're like the disarms are now you know been separated out from the into a different family than Pulling games or solomon sales but but we kinda regard them as the sort of fulfilling the same function in the garden. They have the same visual Impact and appeal really and And we're just we are just smitten by them and and and for good reason. There's fear other things that Offer that In the shade garden Solomon's seals in particular Have there's there's over. Eighty species of solomon seals and within each species and their diversity is incredible. I mean it goes from the arctic circle down to tropical rainforest in vietnam and they can be. We've actually pitched a tent on flicking them hooker. I at thirteen thousand feet in eastern bhutan and that only gets an inch or two high in that really short alpine turf whereas We've got political. Tim did in our shade garden. And it's not done reaching its full mature size and we've been as tall as fifteen feet so that's pretty awesome. Thank goodness textiles for them and it said you have thirty one. Different polygamy items. And i was like and then you had an article on the website. I'll give a link with the transcript to it about one that i think it's cinemas The species is king knee. Ainum or juan neum or something It's like a twelve footer. With orange flowers that was surprising. Yeah that's really really nice thing. It's one that had been the had been regarded as a flagging kingham. It's it's distinct in that it has leaves. That are different than what we would see on on on the east coast for example Heard the leaves are kind of following this stem and their little alternate sort of things like every other step stepped up. The leaves up the stem but in keenum who aim vietnam again Their what's called a tesla arrangement of lease or their little like spokes on a wheel in quarrels ranked up the stem. And that's that's very distinctive right. Can you ain't them You know crashing. You know if it gets like ten twelve or even like in vietnam and fifteen feet. How do you. How do you keep those upright. And they've got a clever little adaptation not the end of each leaf tip at hooks into a little hook and it will actually hold onto surrounding branchless and of shrubs and so we have going up through having going up to really thin twigged shabby dogwoods and that can kind of self trellis themselves that way.

Persona 5 Strikers Review

"Let's talk about persona strikers review roundup gathering this at nine. Am it sat at an eighty. Four on metacritic. Twenty eight gave it a four point. Five out of five were keenum. Call says persona five. Strikers is proof. That change isn't always a bad thing. While it may not hold onto everything that made its forebear a phenomenon the new elements it brings to the table more than make up for it and show that the series future lies in more than just straightforward turn based jr pg's. It's an experience fans will find more than enough to love about And that will give them plenty of hope for the series. Bright future over at games beat. Mike manati gave it a four out of five and rights now. Strikers isn't exactly on the same scope as a full blown persona game. the social aspects aren't as robust. You weren't forty relationships with your characters. Are eating beef bowls increase your personality traits and not as long persona five may take you about one hundred hours to beat. Strikers only took me a bit over thirty hours to complete. I'm not gonna complain about that. Though that felt like a good length for an action role playing game and it makes sense that the experience would be a bit shorter without the counter events. That felt normal persona game prince parentheses. You aren't studying for tests or picking up after school jobs but you're still collecting personas. Infusing them to make new ones. You're still rocking out to an amazing soundtrack which includes a nice collection of new songs and remixed tunes persona five. And if you liked percent of five you're going to have a great time. I'm not sure. I'm not sure if you would call five strikers a spin off or a sequel honestly it feels more like the ladder but if you want to call it a spinoff. It's the best one that the persona series has offered yet and then it. It was an eight point zero from tom marks. Who writes persona five. Strikers main story is every bit a direct sequel to the persona five that it is every bit the direct sequel to promote a five. That seems making this summer road trip with the phantom thieves essential for fans of the original and probably pretty confusing for anybody who hasn't played it. It's lack of personas signature. Social calendar systems are the only places its spin off. Status becomes a bit of a letdown but even replacing turn based combat with real time. Action doesn't stop it from recapturing. The feel of its predecessor overall. Its structure is far more close to closer to the action. Its structure is far closer to action. jr pg's like kingdom hearts then the mousse omega force. Its best known for but the varied play styles of each character and the story that pulls them along made the fairly simple active hacking through shadows enjoyable to the very last surprise.

"Four o'clock You the list doesn't state that they're not invasive they don't have it in an invasive or noninvasive type be aware because if you get floor klux four o'clock to grow properly the next year they'll girl improperly in another and they're they're beautiful they are again quite fragrant Later i'm going to call them. My Kingdom is not of this World (John 18:36)

"John Chapter Eight, Verse Thirty Six. Jesus answered. My Kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting that I might not be delivered over to the Jews, but my kingdom is not from the world. When I grade verse that just? Contrast the Kingdom of Jesus and the kingdoms of this world, and it's really a contrast. We see all throughout the gospels. You just think about the differences even as we are in an election season in the United States for those who listen to this podcast and live in the US in the middle of a presidential election and like all the things that are happening that are that are pretty focused on our country in this world. So think about the difference between Jesus Kingdom and the kingdoms of this world like. The Kingdoms of this world are built on like appeasing catering to the crowds. Keenum of Jesus is built on like counting the cost of following him in such a way that the crowds for the most part left that happened all the way back in John Chapter six. The road to Jesus's kingdom is not paved by like political hostility toward people. It's paved by spiritual humility that's counter the kingdoms of this world. Entrance into Jews, kingdom comes not by asserting yourself by denying yourself. Like those who are citizens of, kingdom are not people who show their power like with the weapons of this world. That's the whole point of what he's saying here they're the people who put their trust in God's word. And all of this is right before Jesus is delivered over to be crucified like. Alternately the inauguration of Jesus Kingdom is not set in motion when he is elected. It's set in motion when he is executed. When in the? Next chapters he will be crowned with thorns on his head as he suffers for sin we committed. Cheeses we praise you. As. The perfectly unique. Unprecedented. And a worthy only worthy king. And we pray for the privilege. Of. Being part of your kingdom, we exalt you as king. We Exalt you as Lord. We Exalt you as savior of our sins. We Exalt you as conqueror of. Death. We Exalt you as the one who is syndicated in seated at the right hand of the Father Right. Now, all glory beat your name Jesus our king, we worship you we exalt you we surrender to you. We gladly lay down our lives before you in me say thank you. Thank you for letting us part of your kingdom. Thank you for making us ambassadors. For you the king on a picture that we see in scripture that were embassador of yours representing us, help us to represent you. Well, we pray help us to live according to your character and your word, help us to reflect your love and your truth and your kindness and your compassion gun make more and more like, Jesus. Our King, we pray and We are exhilerated when we think about how you have made us heirs. Of Your Kingdom, how the Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance that one day, we will inherit your kingdom. So we pray like you taught us to pray Jesus our Father in heaven hallowed, be your name, your kingdom come your will be done. Your will be done in our lives. Your will be done in our families. Your will be done in our churches. Your will be done on earth we pray as it is in heaven. Jesus we praise you as our king re pray you'd help us to live. Ultimately not for the kingdoms of this world, but for your kingdom. In the name of Jesus our King We pray. Amen. Even as I pray that I want to mention that just finished writing a book actually about how do we glorify Jesus King in the middle of a presidential election so just a short buck called before you vote seven questions Christians should ask before they vote. I'm just so burdened to help. One another glorify Christ with our vote as citizens in this country for those who live in the United States and to do it. Hollow Trees = Habitat

"Their numbers new yard by dumping those out good to know. Thanks for the little PSA, there. We needed to hear that. So as Dr Surkov mentioned you know you don't see how the trees as much or at least as frequently in sort of urban suburban areas where people live. But they're much more prevalent in probably far more common than most of us even realize in the wild, and it's really important, and I'm going to say this is sort of like a rhetorical question. Did both of you know that hollow trees? A hollow cylinder technically is far more structurally sound on physics level than a solid cylinder I do not know that yet by Lucan because I ever follow in my backyard and. I decided that the gave. It's like they they. They haven't quite figured out that if they maybe want to keep the tree, it's probably best just to let that go. And plus the rotting in and of itself returned some of those nutrients that were locked up in the hardwood, and it's it's IT'S A. A natural process in the life of a tree and I would bet that a lot of the big trees you go out into the woods and see all these ones that people get really excited about Many of them are hollow to just had a guest on talk about ancient trees, and they were saying it's really hard to estimate because every time they go in with a core They just meet a spot that goes, and it goes right into this hollow chamber within there. Haka and cultural appropriation

"The Haka is a part of Mari Culture. It's a type of movement that involves the whole body invoice New Zealand's rugby team. The all blacks performed a version of it at competitions around the globe here they are performing it in Japan during a match last year's Rugby World Cup. Many team members are Maury. What you'll hear is they're stomping their hands beating on their chests entice. On how. It's impressive to watch a Haka. Traditionally, it's not for entertainment. It's ceremonial has deep roots in multiculture. Of course, some people don't understand that and mimic anyway. A handful of Brazilian companies use the Haka in their corporate retreats. The Non Murray owner of Hakka training said he learned hawk. By watching videos of the all blacks rugby team. Another company huck Brazil performed the Haka at a Ted talks event such displays. You're using your your own personal sound What is taught to young people about why you do this in what it is, you're actually giving. Actinium Pharma's Transformative Radiation Treatment

"So today. We're GONNA talk about a couple of things. COUPLE UPDATES we've seen in the last couple of weeks related to Jin Amarin, as well as Kerio farm that we heard today and I'm recording this on the twenty second of June. And, then the main story today we're GONNA, talk about actinium pharmaceuticals, and I think if everything goes well with them. They could be a big play now. This weird stuff around the stocks or we're GONNA touch a little bit on that, but I think that if the data continues to look as good as it has so far, they could really make a big change in the targeted radiation space, so we'll touch a little bit on that as well. But. Yeah, for me on a personal note. It's it's been busy. Things are kind of getting back to normal here. In San Diego, a lot of businesses have been opening up. So I've noticed that actually have a bit more of a social life now, so that's definitely been entertaining. Take me away from the market's a little bit, but you know I'm here today to talk about some awesome biotech company so with that. Let's get into it. And the first piece of news I wanted to touch on is biogenic and what we heard. Is that biogen's Tech Videira pen? Five one four was ruled invalid us. District, judge, and they closed Friday at two seventy one, and they did see a little bit more of a dip this week. As we've dealt with this already with Amarin we're hearing that Bison does plan on filing an appeal, but that appeal process can. Can take up to a year, but what's different here is that we're actually expecting at risk launch, so mylan has made it clear. Myelin the company sued by John. Over this patent made it clear that they're aiming for a November sixteenth approval day for Generic Tech. FIDORA, and they have already filed an da with the FDA which is the normal process by which a generic company has to get their medicine approved. By, June did kind of expect this to some capacity because they did launch a competing drug to tech Videira, called vulgarity and a little bit of a better safety profile, and they launched this just in case, the tech texture patent battle did go south because I believe there's other lawsuits coming up against this patent, but biogen launched Romerike parity in the hopes that they'll be able to shift the revenue. They've been getting from. Tech Fidora onto American and then maintain this juggernaut status since tech for their is their biggest selling medication, and it's about four billion dollars. Dollars per year they generate in this medicine, so they're going to hope to replace that with something and the loss of this patent protection means the generics are gonNA. Come on the market pretty soon and when I did mine. Alice's using a model that I had created. If I have the tech revenue, their stock price would go down to run to thirty, so I think what's going on here is investors are pricing in the potential of America to take a lot of that revenue from Tech Videira, which would help Jin, either that or the odds of winning? Winning an appeal are there so the stock is pricing in some upside? Despite the loss they suffered, and the other thing that's going on with biogen is they are planning to file the advocating B-. Be La in two three, twenty twenty and advocate the indication being Alzheimer's disease, which is a very very big patient population, so I think there is also some support for the stock given that biding could potentially get an Alzheimer's drug approved. If not late issue than early next year and I know there's a lot of controversy over the added Keenum data I think. Think personally. It's a coin flip whether or not the FDA is going to approve it. I think the the date is very shady and it shouldn't be approved, but strange things happened with the FDA before, so it is possible that they could lobby the FDA enough to get it approved the next company, and wanted to touch on is Amarin and just a little piece of news that we heard. Is that Amarin settled with the generic company called appetites, Apex Appetites, and this settlement would keep them from launching a CPA generic until August ninth of twenty twenty nine. And I saw a lot of excitement around this just because the logic being that if apex fought that ammon was going to lose the appeal, they wouldn't bother going through the motion to do the Selman agreement keeping Aptex from going to the mark until twenty, twenty nine. But, if I were to think about it logically, I assume that the lawyers between Amarin and APP attacks have been in discussions for months by now and that the failure of Amer to defend its patents just happened to go against Amarin APTEX was not expecting that, so they ended up filing the settlement agreement anyway, but I think that if Amazon is not successful in their appeal process I imagine appetites, April tax is going to be able to file a generic before this twenty twenty nine days, so to me this neither a positive thing, negative thing, but you know I'm still holding all my shares and will look forward to that appeal decision coming up later this year.

Make Australia Gay Again

"Okay. Jeremy. So you found these stamps. They're clearly very gay What what's the deal like? Where do they come from? I've never heard of this Gay Kingdom what is it where is it and how can I move there? Are you messing with this? Jeremy is even a real thing. It's actually real and I've been working all day and night to find out more. I've called experts from the United Nations. The Council on Foreign Relations. I've made burner phones. My apartment's walls are covered and post it. Notes detailing epic story behind this kingdom yarn. Did you connect them John? It's GonNa ask the same thing. Yes it's required and after lots of law sleep. I think I finally have some answers. Hermit sexual people have honestly endeavoured everywhere to merge ourselves in the social life of surrounding communities and to be treated equally. This is an excerpt from the declaration of Independence of the gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the coral sea islands. A nation created for life liberty the pursuit of happiness. And all things gay well technically. It's a micro nation. So we'll micro nation is a place that declares that they are a nation but aren't recognized by other countries So it's basically someone walks out into their front yard and they're like my front yard is a nation In their mind they are their own country but they don't really have any recognition or any kind of Legitimacy in terms of the global stage this is Derrick Thomas. I tracked him down after he made fun video online about the gay and Lesbian Kingdom. I created a youtube channel. That has an ongoing series on micro nations and kind of the funny stuff that they get up to so there see land of land lower Malaysia. Lieber Land Danica in the Game Lesbian Kingdom of the Cross island. Derek told me that this gay kingdom was born in two thousand four when Australia passed a law saying that marriage was strictly between a man and a woman with gay marriage all the rage in America. The changes here a designed to thwart any similar attempts legal recognition. At Dav aside their community is facing a new wave way of homophobia. Here's John Howard. The prime minister at the time. The definition of marriage is something that should not a time potentially be subject to redefinition will change so in an attempt to protect against future gay marriages the law said marriage is by definition between a man and a woman and every single wedding ceremony in Australia. I kid you not that definition had to be like at your wedding you would need to say the words marriage. According to law in Australia is the Union of a man and a woman. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in so romantic really but Derek said it actually kind of backfired and drew a lot more attention from activists about gay marriage than ever before Australia including one group in two thousand and four a group of gay rights activists who were attending the Brisbane. Gay Pride Festival Were frustrated with two thousand four marriage amendment act in Australia. They got on a boat. Well a seaplane That they christened the gay flower sailed it out to an island in the coral sea islands. Territory called CATO. Dwayne Haskins named the Redskins’ starting quarterback for rest of season

"Appropriate that we begin with news out of the nation's capital redskins coach Bill. Callahan said within the last half hour that Dwayne Haskins the redskins starting quarterback the rest of the way Haskins started the last game for Washington against the Buffalo Bills. Coming off a bye the redskins will face the jets. That's this week Tim Thought the decision to name. Dwayne Haskins distorted the rest of the season. Do it now and stop answering the question. I guess and that's the key I think you just go make a decision and go with it. Don't look back. He's the quarterback of the future. They want him to be the quarterback of the future and so rather than answering questions each and every week. There are being somewhat of a distraction. The rest of your football team but I think also a message to Dwayne of okay. Here's the deal. You need to get ready. You need the be ready and prepared to go out and play and play at a high level each and every week in these what the expectations are for you as a starting quarterback in the National Football Tali at so. I think they need to do it. They'll still be somewhat difficult to evaluate him because of some of the situations you know there and we've seen some guys get better watching somebody else. The truth matter is find out if you can play or not by actually client yeah. This is a situation or decision that I felt should have been made once. You named him the starter for the Buffalo Bills Game. This shouldn't have been a thing where we're going to put him in pulling Glenn Beck. I'll see if we can start Cole McCoy or go with case keenum once you decided to go with the Wayne ask is. He's you're first round draft pick. You WanNa see if he's your quarterback of the future because as you will be moving on to a new coach and he may have to get his own guy and he's still a rookie so you the only way you're gonNA learn is on. The job is by going out there and doing it and I think they knew that is interesting that they waited until go bye week to do this. And and case keenum won't be the number two quarterback and Cole McCoy will be the third quarterback but he's shown Some glimpses in that last start. You see the arm talent. That's the one thing that that was. I don't think that's ever been concern listening to people. Call a game. When people people have obviously met with the team and have talked to the coaches and production meetings about this and they wanna make sure he he can call the play properly in the huddle call like say what what you want? There was a reason he wasn't playing and it was not because the physical ability. There was a lot of talk about him. Not Being Mentally Ready to play the game and and you have to at least give yourself a chance to succeed before the bolts. And if you're not doing that that's why you're not on the field the criticisms if you can call Oh them that wasn't about whether he was smart enough but they were interpreted that and I think Adrian Peterson and trying to explain and maybe defend himself last week or the week before. was He telling Dwayne it's time for you to get into the playbook in other words it was really learning how to be a pro. And that's what they wanted to do is learn how to be a pro in terms of how you prepare apparent when he's sitting there at number three and no one that play. I don't think he prepared like a guy who might start that week.

"keenum" Discussed on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed

"I mean really at a night to forget against the bears keenum threw three interceptions including one for a pick six and lost two fumbles the redskins kept rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins on the sideline the entire game and after the Game Jay Gruden said that there were no plans to make a change at Qb and he wanted to give keenum time time to get comfortable with the offense so Shannon. Is it time for the Redskins to make the move switch Dwayne Haskins. I know I play fourteen years. There's nothing more disheartening than being in the locker room. When you don't believe your quarterback gives you an opportunity to win the game. It's hard for me to believe that those guys in that locker room believe case keenum honestly give them an opportunity to win the game they saw that last night five turnovers and see what what happens is is that you look at the you look at it. At the end of the day you're like man he was thirty or forty three and was he skipped those those turnovers were Hara Bull. We'll skip. You can't make those mistakes your team. That's struggling. He may look. I believe the bears heavy Super Bowl caliber defense Khalid a quarterback who hold them back but that's not the eighty five bears case keenum had them for a second look at like the eighty five bears skill. I think they had themselves looking like the eighty. Five hundred team did it today case keenum reason. Why does he play offense of wine. No he plays as of quarterback and he did a bad job of playing that position. He did have three interceptions. I'm Michael Rick. You did he did have two fumbles. Am I correct so that's five turnover to go along with those two touchdowns well in order to offset those five turnovers. He needed to have seven touchdown touchdown. I didn't think so at mytalk. No no let your Tory yeah and they keep saying half. The radio has given the radio which Jay Gruden. When are you going to be ready to win a game because you're not GonNa win one with that guy. there's a reason. Why are no one stepped up to the plate? When case keenum had that year in Minnesota nobody stepped to the place that okay. Oh We gotTA game folks. We gotta have case Keenum one year you know because they say look he was in an ideal situation. He had a historically great defense especially on third down. We had never seen anything like it before did that team could win with case keenum the locker room bid for just what they thought so much. They say we're media. Kirk will fully guarantee I other eighty four million dollars who John Rather happens. I talking face keenum or about that. You don't want to skip stop. It is to warp skill. Nothing prepared for game experience like game experience. You like to see the God catch the ball. You guys go through his reads and things like that but you can't do that in practice. You gotTa play just like you get. You're getting games that you get in football football shaped by playing Prague's football. You getting gain you get game ripped. Bhai getting in the game. I don't understand what I never got smarter standing on the side like good job. Mitchum C. K. when against him. Oh what a block big. Oh let me get out there. Okay I will make mistakes. Would you put him minute halftime last night. Boswell mines well might as well might as well. You can skip at some point. I mean look the word I turn. Where's Washington going. They make it seem like the guy if a seventh round draft pick either undrafted free agent top fifteen picking correct fifty pick get the drought you keep asking me questions and I can't thank you aunts. Please first of all you hate you some case keenum. I've never heard anything quite like it before. It's better than Kirk cousins he just did and he always has been and I stand by that because I've stood by for years. I fear case case keenum far more than I ever feared. Kirk cousins I tell you case. Keenum is not bound for the hall of fame. He's not going to ever share that building with your bust but he will battle his butt off in every game and he did it. Again is a street fight timeout. It's my dark Tom. Brady eighty would have had a long hard night behind that offensive line against that bears defense flying the way it was flying on national TV last night because case keenum barely had had time to deliver the ball for the first half the bears defense started to run out of gas in case started to figure them out in the second half but the point was if we can go back that can start from the start Jordan replaying last night no no because I'm afraid he's careers in jeopardy right. Yeah we play these special skill especially they own the field was. Trent Williams playing last no left Russia trae for well. He's a special left in the game. Yes all of a sudden Khalil. Mack had a superhighway eighty two case keenum here but everybody every time he looked up and he's not a big guys like six feet tall and he's looking and he can't see over anybody. Oh what's what's your. What's your proverbial word deer in headlights little? I did not see that you know so the early passed eighty through to the replacement for Jordan Jeremy Sprinkled. Do you remember this pal. I don't really remember this. Could we see this award of Renton. That's a boy that could be a thirty thirty yard completion. He it's Jeremy Sprinkle. WHO's in for Jordan. Is that not a sweet throw. That's going to change game. It's nothing nothing at that point and all of a sudden they're going to be on the Moon Momento. Give he's not. He's not a good catcher. You could tell I totally agree with people at home saying okay thank you. He's he's as a fifth round pick in two thousand seventeen out of Arkansas. He should not be in the game because Gordon Reid should have been in the game then if we could see the first pick which led to a pick six MR MR irrelevant is the target on this Trey Quinn out of SMU's. The two hundred fifty six player taken eighteen drafted. We could see this throat. I didn't think this this was a terrible. Throw and Troy Quinn does not make any try. You got a sellout for that. All you gotTa leave your feet and get your hands on the ball because it was a ball you you could have gotten your hands on. He just quit on this. Throw and all of a sudden the bears are off to the races. It's Mr irrelevant so you're throwing a Jeremy Sprinkle and Mr Rela but I tell me out here home. You are overmach man. You don't have a left tackle. What do you have you got Adrian piece. Listen Adrian Peterson was running so slowly to the line of scrimmage he would stop and I kept thinking. It was a flea flicker I did. I thought he was going to say he was wrong with you. It stop. He's not Kazlo no come on. He would stop the line of scrimmage. I think he's GonNa lateral. He's going to let them back to case and they're going to hit a big play. No he just can't find a hole and he stopped cold. Sorry sorry it's not good enough. No it's not good enough but what's the punchline this. The punchline is he gets it down at their twenty yard line on on fourth and one yard line and what did he do okay. He goes over the top and made the play for the first down like it's the goal line and didn't put two hands on the football. Thank you if you put two hands hands on. I don't think Danny Trevathan can knock the ball if you don't throw them out if you don't throw interceptions. I don't think you can pick it off. Do you realize if they go into score. They're all the sudden. It's it's going to be twenty eight to twenty two with a whole bunch of time left in the fourth quarter but you realize the bears were about to be in trouble if that's converted you. Do you realize case keenum. Jim Still threw for three thirty. Two last night. I give you all the mistakes the interception the sack fumble and then the fumble that was just a careless. GonNa put two hands on the ball L. Fumble. It was a mistake of omission because he got the first down that just didn't put this in case kw of what we call case keenum plays plays those here's here's what Jay Gruden knows in the opener at Philadelphia against the team you picked win the NFC. Yes he goes up seventeen enough the eagles by throwing for a grand total look three eighty any covered. What was it thirty two to twenty six at the vibe no Cova. Yes no cover but he did it because he scored twenty six points. Where did you get my cowboys. He he takes the kickoff and goes Bouma mome touchdown. Devin to nothing and they hung in that game because the case he will just keep fighting and battling watching you you do realize the cowboys blew him out right yeah but again. I fear that guy just night thirty or forty three for three thirty to the turnovers or killers but he's still got him back. Going into things will happen if case keenum on your roster. He'll get caught or get the coach fire now. Most of the time teams were released him and move on did he get Mike. Zimmer fired that the dribble. What am I gonNa do say. I'm good skip the man took it to the NFC type. Will he signed he gave eighty four guaranteed million dollars to kirk cousins. Hood said let that sink in for a second you say case keenum is better they gave him eighty four million if that bye-bye to the guy that got into the NFC NFC title they were wrong wrong wrong doing what the case Keenum do endeavor. They're terrible okay. What are you doing. Everybody's that is terrible except the quarterback position okay better Minnesota. He wasn't terrible. No no no no. He's a better than average starter in this no no. He's a back up interesting if you don't have experts say he's Qbr so far ranks fifteenth. That's just like middle of the pack. That's what he is. Okay what are they got. What I the end of the I told you I took Qbr of menu because it became too computer you know people want to do. I get good avocado. Do I'd get lettuce with it. Do I get tomatoes so I just don't see the menu. That's right now. You don't come back. I hate that you go to a restaurant and realize oh you know you you can charge more for Qbr. You know it's a delicacy you. You know what you're getting. I got no. I don't have tacos. Okay have steak. I don't have a talion too often skill so you. Dwayne haskins good at throwing them back into the game and got them close to twenty twenty eight twenty two last night. No no sorry at the end of the you took Wayne Haskins for a reason you know case keenum isn't the answer because if he if case keenum is obviously you know he's not the long term answer but if you're Jay Gruden and you're trying to hang on by bias thread. He's too heavy job. Okay let me just tonight loves it okay. What would you do if you're if you're in his shoes right now. Would you wanna go to join asking. No you said last night case keenum is just figuring out our new offense because it's it's all new. Why wouldn't you have a better chance to win games and Save Your Job Case Keenum..

The NFL's best and worst offensive arsenals: Barnwell's 32-1 ranking

"Barnwell writes these very lengthy pieces on E._S._p._N.. Dot Com and he wrote a piece that that came out early this morning ranking the N._F._L.'s. Goals offensive arsenals thirty two worst all the way to number one <hes> and basically you know he's considering how the players that the teams have will perform in twenty nineteen. He's not necessarily really just basing it off of recent <hes> recent performance. He's he's he's guessing on what you know. It will be in two thousand nineteen any says also that the as as a preface it with a lengthy the preview before he started ranking them of course in love with is that the arsenals are weighted <hes> the arsenal rankings are weighted more towards receivers than tight ends or running backs <hes> any says also the top elite level talent wins out over depth anyway the rankings start with the thirty second ranked offense of Arsenal Jacksonville Bennett's Denver Miami Seattle and then the Redskins so the redskins have the fifth worst offensive offensive arsenal in the N._F._l.. According to a bill barnwell any rights the investments Washington is made it wide receiver haven't worked out former former seahawks wide out Paul Richardson signed to a five year forty million dollar deal wasn't healthy and Seattle and cautious watches twenty passes in seven games last season former first rounder. Josh DACHSHUND hasn't developed in Washington. Just decline the fifth year option on Dachshund Jamison crowder left the jets <hes> mister relevant Trey Quinn will be as replacement Jay Gruden gruden drafted Terry maclaurin in the third round but there but is there any reason to think Washington is going to start developing whiteouts effectively. This is likely the league's worst group of starting wide receivers while that's the kind those kind the tools you wanNA put around a rookie quarterback and you know the funny thing is according to warn sharp. This is the most expensive offense in the N._F._l.. This mostly costly offense. Well take the field the N._F._l.. Because of the Investment Alex Smith and you know that is not going to write to pay off <hes> yes so I mean again another reason why you you WanNa put this on this limited offense in the hands hands of a quarterback who understands limitations in that case keenum. It's Cole McCoy too but I'm going to operate on the assumption that cultures isn't going to stay healthy so <hes> that's case keenum you don't want to <hes> experiment and test out a rookie <hes> with these with these kind of weapons <hes> especially if you're Jay Gruden and you know you have the expectation or the hope and we're assuming he does is of of having team good enough for him to remain as head coach. You know what's interesting. I was thinking about this as I was reading this early this morning. <hes> that the redskins according to Barnwell look I mean I don't know if it's the worst it's certainly among the five for six worst greg in a starting wide receiver groups and the N._F._l.. And we we know that you know in terms of offensive weapons they don't have much. I mean you have to pray. The Jordan Reed comes back plays thirteen games in his Jordan Jordan Reed again. You got to hope that Chris Thompson is a weapon out of the backfield. The dairy skies pays off as a second round pick and turns into a a guy that with Adrian Peterson is a big time back that that that <hes> Vernon Davis continues to be effective in it somebody somebody whether it's Richardson Dachshund or Harmon or maclaurin. Somebody steps up you.

"Because they you know, Elway just. Tired of seeing around and because he had his he he wanted to justify the case keenum signing he had to get rid of Simeon because as soon as case keenum struggled, everyone was going to be looking to Simeon, and, you know, the at the end of the day, we knew case keenum was not going to be a good QB this year. We thought last year was a fluke. It was. But at the end of the day Elway has got to be able to evaluate these quarterbacks better. There's no offense or buts about it. Like Kirk cousins turned out to be who we thought he was in terms of being a phony. But at the same time Elway has got to be able to identify who and free agency can actually do the job or do. I need a draft another QB and just in take the hail of criticism from fans immediate like for drafting a QB because to me like this was a case where you had enough rookie QB. Where you have a decent defense. Like, this isn't a case where it's the giants, and you have multiple holes to fill and you realistically, one player wasn't gonna make lick of difference. The Broncos actually had a playoff caliber team outside of the quarterback position. Like they like the offensive line was getting they just needed to get a one in there. So like, this was a case where the Broncos action needed the trade up and give up draft picks again and just get into the first round draft the QB because the free agency quarterbacks all were all bussed, in my opinion, outside of teddy Bridgewater who was basically signed to be a backup because no like no NFL GM had the balls to actually sign him to be a starter. If you look at it, Alex Smith was underachieving in Washington before he broke his leg. Unfortunately. But Alex Smith was not playing well, the we'll talk about Kirk cousins at a bit. But like Kirk cousins was an omitted. Gated disaster in Minnesota, no matter how much stat padding. They did to make him look at Kirk cousins was disaster. Case keenum could not throw a full afford pass down the field thirty yards with any accuracy. Like case. Keenum was a mess this year for the Broncos. And you know, when you keep going down the line like like Bradford we talked about like there. There weren't any good free agent free agent quarterbacks. But that doesn't mean you give them you sign them saying it's going to be different assigned. And that's a Elway. Did Elway didn't wanna take the criticism of folks saying why are you trying to draft another rookie QB when you failed twice already? So he tried to go on cheap. But he really didn't go that. Because case keenum got paid a lot of money to be mediocre. Money. Yeah. And it it was it was a complete disaster. Because again, we know case keenum is case keenum like this was not news. And for anyone who saying that? Oh, they should have signed Nick foles. Nick foles is not good. Either Nichols is a byproduct of being in a very fortunate situation where he has great talent around him at villi. And it's a system that is the only system he can be successful in like drawing down the field and being aggressive the way Andy Reid Hannam in Philadelphia. That's the only way Nick foles can be successful. You can't run any other NFL offense and his limitations as a QB is why teams would be idiotic to sign him in the all season. Someone will it's and and people are throwing around his name on talk radio for the giants signed Nick foles. I I would punch a wall if that actually happened because that'd be the dumbest thing ever. But like literally this. A week free agency quarterback class. I thought Kirk cousins was actually different. I was wrong. I'll admit that. But none of these guys panned out at all..

Stephen A.: 'I'm embarrassed by what I'm seeing from the Pittsburgh Steelers

"Me let me to just a little bit allow me to express to you the alarming level of frustration that I on questionably feel at this particular moment in time. I cannot put into words how disgusted I am. That the Pittsburgh Steelers ended up losing this game. I can't even put it into words. Ben Rothlisberger four hundred sixty two yards passing wasted. James connor. He's no Le vian bell. Juju Smith Schuster, thirteen receptions, one hundred and eighty nine yards wasted. For two reasons above all else. Big Ben Rothlisberger leading the league in red zone interceptions. Do another one yesterday was Shelby Harrison defensive lineman getting blocked in the coverage. And ultimately Ben Rothlisberger throwing the ball right to. Now. We can make the argument that it's the freakish interception that Ben Rothlisberger may have ever thrown as he so eloquent it in the aftermath of their twenty four to seventeen loss to the Denver Broncos yesterday. Denver Broncos team. That's now beating the charges in the Steelers in back to back weeks, by the way, we could go that route. All we can state the obvious. If you watched it throw, ladies and gentlemen, it was an interception. No matter what. Whether it was Shelby, all whether it was Roe. I'm sorry. Shelby. Harris. Oh, whether it was Roby who had. Antonio Brown completely covered. I don't know what the hell big. Ben Rothlisberger was thinking throwing that pass made absolutely positively no sense. Whatever you can point to that specific interception. But it was going to get into septic. It was going to get into septic. There is no doubt about that. There's absolutely positively. No doubt about that. Yet despite case keenum only one hundred ninety seven yards. Despite the fact that Denver didn't have the most formidable run a game to speak of. They still ended up winning the game. I mean Lindsay did have one hundred ten yards on fourteen carries. That's almost eight yards per carry. I got it. But the real culprit and all of this was bent. It was turnovers from Connor. It was a drop touchdown pass from Washington. I mean, I'm just looking around right now at the Pittsburgh Steelers. And I can't even express. The level of my frustration. Because you see regardless of how. But thank Pittsburgh secondary looked earlier in the season. They had got things together. They were looking a little bit better. But now, I'm of the monster. They lost that game yesterday. And I said, dammit, they just lost a trip to the AFC championship game. Now. Now, I'm not saying that laser gentlemen, mama's saying that it's a very simple explanation. And you know, what that explanation is? It's the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers now dropped to what is it a fourth seed. Or at least a three seed in the AFC that means Kansas City and New England both ahead of you. That means to get to the AFC championship game. You're going to have to be one of the other one a row, and I don't think they're going to do that. Now had the Steelers and all likelihood possibly fighting for birth to the AFC championship game at Arrowhead stadium against the kids City Chiefs. You know, what if you had home games prior to that one could stand the believe who knows what kind of upset could transpire maybe I'll get lucky. Now, it's no way in hell.

"keenum" Discussed on Speak For Yourself with Cowherd & Whitlock

"The second reason, which is really the reason why he's not gonna fire them is because it's a business decision. I am not going to fire the coach and give case keenum out. Out of some leash a reset button where someone's going to sit there and say, oh now, let's properly evaluate case keenum, if I'm John Elway. I don't fire anybody around case keenum because when the end of the season occurs, case keenum gov. Go and Vance Joseph has to go in a clean sweep do not want to reset my franchise quarterback as they're all calling them neck. I mean, I think the bottom line is John Elway is looking like I missed this. Like, this ain't totally on Vance Joseph. This is on me because case came like John Elway to be this great quarterback. He show came pick them. I mean, it's crazy to quarterbacks they've had since Peyton, and none of them seem to be able to play even case keenum case keenum dice thus up when he was with Minnesota, myself personally. And I'm looking like this this dooms, really legit. Like, it blows my mind. Why Pat Shurmur didn't take him and say he lied by and take case keenum to New York to ruin his office because case keenum was a very capable quarterback. And so now, I go to the coaches who's coating him who's the quarterback coach office coordinator are they developing him. Because obviously case keenum can't do what they want him to do in Denver. But he was able to do what Sherman wanted him to do in Minnesota. And so I think John's at a point where he's like, look I can't fire Vance because some of this is my fault. Like this quarterback is bad. He's worse than what we thought. He was. And I think the proof is in watching him play like he's not playing anywhere close to who. They thought he was going to be when they signed him. You're right. They don't want to reset that clock on him. They don't have a replacement. I think the envelope of the argument. I heard from us though, is that he's not being as coast as well as what Pat Shurmur was doing for him in Minnesota as it relates to case keenum. And so therefore, I I've seen very few executives whoever blame them. Oh, no. They never will. And so I don't see John Elway blaming himself. What I see from executives is like man, I gave you the good ingredients. You've just messed up the cake. And that's what I think at the end of the year. John Elway is going to say to this coaching staff. John way is a competitor. Obviously he likes to win. He's had experience with it as a player, and as an executive, but I put it like if I bought a car and the car is out there, and I've been driving for a year and a half hour long. Vance has been there, and it starts to break down a little bit. And I'm like, you know, what I really don't want this car anymore. I can't get rid of it right away until I have a new car. Okay. I got to have a replacement ready to go and. I think for sure probably at the end of the season. Vance will probably not be there. I just don't know. What is your better choice? What is your better often? It makes no sense to fire him right now. Let's you've got somebody who can come in and make the job even better. You're not proving a point. I think John Elway gets that. So I'm him. Yeah. At the end of the season, we're going valuate it. Let's see if you can turn it around. If you can't then you're going anyway, I trust me. "Houston Houston. Yeah. And sunday. Hey where Denver here. Yes. That's like stealing because they're going to be a hall monitor dog. So all you fans out there. Just make a lot of noise, and he'll bring home the money because if anybody can win a game farm, I think be the fan. So I'm going to try to get back down. So I can make some money. I'm going to put some money on Denver next. Dr right Skillet. Good enough. Get the money on the Broncos. I haven't seen a spread yet. Thank you for the call. Always good to hear from us a little subdued understandably. So but he wasn't as normal riled up sell. But that's okay. I would say this that I'm not sure I've yet heard anybody say you have to give Vance Joseph another year. I think that is clearly very much in doubt. But we'll see how the final eight games go. If he gets that long. And I don't think anybody's talking about pulling the plug on case keenum next year. I mean, even if the Broncos worded draft a quarterback next April. I think keenum is still the starter. At least I would think I mean, he certainly going to be on the team. And if he gets beat out by the young guy, and you just decide, hey, he's good enough to give it a go right now, then cases the backup. And that's just the way it's going to go whether or not he really likes it or not. And you have a pretty accomplished backup at that point. If that's the direction the Broncos go, and it's going to be very interesting. I mean, clearly the final eight games are going to be interesting to see if the Broncos can channel this these moments of good play into more consistent play against teams that aren't as good as sort of the gauntlet that they're running they still have Houston and Pittsburgh upcoming in the near future here. And then the chargers twice in the back half. But they also have the raiders and the Browns and the bangles on the road who are pretty salty team back there. So we'll see it's going to be interesting to see I will say this that if a team has completely lost faith in a head coach and to the point where they've quit, then the Broncos don't go play like they did today, and they. Play like they did against the Rams, and they don't go and blow out Aaron. Now, none of that may be enough to save and Joseph Joe his job over time. I'm not trying to make that case. What I am saying is I think the Broncos are playing hard. I think they are still bought in and really it's to their credit because they've had some things go against them. They face some very good competition, and they ran through a four game losing streak, and it's real easy to all of a sudden just say, you know, it's only week seven or eight. Yeah, we're just kinda done and they haven't done that. And. At some level. I'm not saying it's enough. But at some level Vance gets credit for that. He hasn't completely lost the team, but you got to win more. I don't think there's any question about that. We'll take a timeout. There is more to come. It's Broncos react back to the phone lines and tweets at Emory's KOA next on the KOA Broncos radio network. Hello..

"But again, in my mind already have, if you see wherever him almost feel guilty weld you want. I mean this be adjusted at all by the end of the weeks to fun your, no, you've got him at forty one currently doing vision that'll change. It depends what happens tonight. If I look, he's had a touchdown, you know, when he gets in the end zone that makes the difference. But he actually has not been a. He's not been that deep downfield I, I don't know exactly what the problem is all the time, but certainly. To me keenum Sanders have much more of a report going then keenum into Maria's Thomas, whether it's a couple of times where you know he had a couple of drops in games that I can remember. There were couple that passes that were off target, who was it that he had that that drop that was like, so uncharacteristic of him. But it was like right through I wanna say it was like week two or three, but it just hasn't hasn't felt like he and keenum have been in sync to me honestly, case keenum other than Mary Emmanuel Sanders feels like he's been with every right. I think maybe what's revealed itself is that at this point of their careers manual Sanders far is not far better is a better player than to marry his Thomas, which is why we're going to consistently rank manuals Inter's borderline top fifteen play, and it's going to take a pretty good matchup for us to feel super confident in starting to Marius Thomas. And I also think that Thomas has had a couple late game, big plays that have factored into that saved him because. Otherwise, we'd be talking about his fantasy value completely differently because point totals would have been so much lower. And I think when I went into ranking him, that was sort of the factor was if you take a couple of those random late game plays away, it's been a very pedestrian near for him. Before you tell us about Twenty-three in Meese to find you want you pick this game or after I do. I'm gonna go with the Broncos in this game for the purposes. Getting a quick pigskin, pick them update. Yeah, let's do the Alvar. So we have to try to get your? No, I don't think you're any worse than I am. The Broncos are two and a half point favorites. I'm taking the Broncos in this game. You're taking whom there to nap point favorite. Sure. Ronca it's hard. I mean, like it's like it's a toss up, right? It's really when it's under three isn't essentially like kick. Right. So. And the Broncos I just feel like they have more offensive potential than the car. Fortunately agree with that even as bad as case keenum is played this year. I will take the Broncos over Josh Rosen in the cardinal. The reason why Matthews not here today is actually because he's boondoggle to celebrate his strong start in pigskin that what it well sort of Matthew has a the edge right now in pigskin pickup. We enter week seven. Matthew has forty seven points followed up by Daniel at forty six, not cool. Keith is at forty four thirsty Kyle's at forty. I'm thirty nine. It's two right behind me how I am really literally last place on avoided looking. I'll bet you both a pair of stand socks since Matthew is not here today that he forgets to enter in a pick for tonight. Why would I want take that bit. Talk saying he's grown up peaking. Bet. When I there's no way to even at all disagreed with like give it. You're basically setting up a ways that you can get a pair of socks. Are you? Are you a betting the Saux Matthew owes me which by the way. Talks that I'm wearing right now. Jig Matthew actually able to pay. Daniel actually sent me a promo. Design in the back and like him colorful. Very sock game is wicked strong. Listen, I ever say. I mean wicket. Yeah, they say that a lot in Boston. Know I was born in Boston it, yeah, I didn't know that. So I, I. Star Fanja for good. We go. Bottom line is stance comfortable. Matthew hasn't paid up. No, we're not taking about with you because we've just have to give you a pair, but we will acknowledge if you just want outright win meal. That's fair. All right. We still have a bunch of questions that are coming through, but before we get to those two fun, you twenty three and.

"Rate to people magazine yesterday and said there was nothing to break up from it was casual the day after she posted the story of him in the car were she's filming it next to him. And he's looking at elk and they're Yellowstone in Montana. Okay. So his this what they insider his publicist tells people there is nothing to spread from as it has been casual and he enjoyed being with her with her, but he's working on himself and being together with her at this time is not something that we're today he will date in the future. But for now is focuses on sobriety family and his next project. So what happened? Radar. Online calls this China, the twenty two year old and she says, they said, you know, we hear you and Ben have split up and just said that's not accurate. So she's coming in the back door taking her through the alley. You can't post anymore insta-. He's like Shana, maybe his publicist home to say this Shana. You've now got up to the magic Mark of one hundred thousand followers on Instagram. Could make a nice living just doing turf sponsored posts a week twenty g's, exactly. And you're going to have to I'll still see, you know, we can still hang out where you're going to have to hide under a blanket in the back of the station wagon when and pulls in anywhere, right? And you can't post anything more about. Okay. So they're still doing it. But not publicly. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I thought you said she said that she broke up with him. No, no, no, no. The break-up happened his people yesterday the day after her insist story. The day after talking about like, dude. Okay. You go to your ex wife's house who drove you to rehab who's been taking care of. You you go you get divorced in the next day you're spotted with your twenty two year old. Yeah. Ever had to hide in the carpet. She'll be fine. Maybe I'll get up to two hundred thousand dollars. You know, I don't know. But anyway, so there's still seeing each other. But his not out loud in any public way. Sharon, she's not allowed to use the social media sites to post anything. You can't do that. Then they're going to have a really for. Sure. Heartbreak out. Is quick to also she's in people in next week's people because she's got her show camping funny you guys. So funny. I think it's on HBO. I think spin off of a British show. Remember, the last spin off British show that we are so crazy about the Matt LeBlanc half hour episodes. That was a spin off a remake of a British. And that was one of our faith that is a show to watch and laugh and. In front of Hollywood and Matt LeBlanc plane himself anyway. So she was on with we share with less than oh Kimmel Kimmel. Yes. And she brought over a blueberry crumble. And it was just talked about food and faking it was, you know, nothing about peppermint. It was just about camping and organic farming, and she's just so baby food her baby food, but she's very infectious light fall to light. So of course, you know, no questions asked, but she's back in the dating pool. Poor he's going to date again. She's doing great. She's wanna be single. She's opened a dating. So, you know, the story spins publicists have been busy for three and a half years spinning their images. She's winning. Oh, yeah. I'm not a percent. Yeah. One hundred percent. Yes. What Ben's next what he has. I'll tell you. I think he does have some things in the works. But I mean, if he's filming anything right now, I will tell you. Yeah. All right toes. To find out. Brad, Pitt a source tells tell us he's got stuff happening. He does. Well, let's see he's filming city on hill, which is a TV series. And he's also been. Well, he's executive producer Justice league. Now, that's for twenty nine thousand nine he really has nothing in two thousand eighteen and then Torrance, but all that's film. He's producer producer producer Batman. He's a producer acting such a good for the prosecution, which I'm excited to see that was such a great movie producer on that original. Oh my gosh. That was a great production where you know. I bet all of Ben Affleck get an starring and witness for the prosecution Christie novel. Yeah, I just went into it. He's starring in that I think he's also starring in films now it's twenty nineteen. In Batman it stars. He's not directing it stars. Ben Affleck, Joe manganiello, Jeremy Irons, so that's being filmed next year too. So he's back at it. Two thousand eighteen off. Yeah, I guess. And then Brad Pitt's people have been busy have been insiders to people about that. You know, the gal he was with the other day. That's like a co star on the movie Twenty-three-year-old. Yeah, they're not dating. But they're very close. So they're just call like Ben Affleck and his lady. You know, they're they're not dating. But they're very close. I mean, it's it's such a laughably quaint it is way of. Putting it isn't like somebody can't we can't say her keenum to see that their close. They've seen each other with their clothes off. And she doesn't want to meet the kids. And so everybody's fine with that. You know what I mean? Right. Like why Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck have a lot of baggage. It's best to just be the girlfriend who is the season. Whenever it suits. You early so much baggage Perez who wants to meet the kids and all that crap. I don't think that they're not looking for here. So right. They're not looking for any any of that stuff know, what else do we know? Here's a show. No one asks for but apparently is coming to TV to TNT K. Wait. Wait, wait before you go there. Okay. Our TV commercial. The new Mitag commercial has aired last night during game whatever the last game of the series between the New York Yankees. And the Boston Red Sox. The Boston Red Sox were trolling the Yankees. What were they doing? We'll because the Yankees GM was a big we're the only ones who can really do damage to the Red Sox. And so there were just all these teams and stuff. Damage. So we're getting down to you know, getting down to this. The World Series. Seen it. I haven't seen the new one. We did a couple of things. Yeah. Nobody asks for a a live medical diagnosis show meets the view. Can you hear on everybody just clicking out their remotes? Maybe all the people like to Google their symptoms. This. There's the audience may over like it's going to be on TNT. It's a show where people get their ailments diagnosed by a panel of doctors enthusiastic audience. You

"Series, but he made a great first impression going perfect, four for four including touchdown, pass to step on digs, and you know the new Bronco keenum only completed one pass for five yards in the loss for Denver, Shannon, who will have the better season cousins or keenum for schools, the better player better player. He's a better quarterback. We have no matter what you think of him. The overrated the overpaid. He's a better player than case keenum. We have a three year body of work on Kirk cousins. We do case keenum has been a career backup normally career backups a year, six or seven. All of a sudden don't get better in lead teams to Super Bowls that that that doesn't happen open that we Nick foles. We're talking about three or four games. That's one thing you talking about from start to finish. That's what the Broncos asking, case keenum to do now. They had an opportunity to possibly get a first cousins, but they realize the price with a little bit more than what they wanted to spend three years eighty four million fully guaranteed. Why didn't you do it. You love him a Bronco. My money jump funding. You. You got your Broncos colors today. Right? I got the blue owes. Give nine. Kirk would go a little bit more than we care spending at that point in time. The bigger problem of yet there are some concerns for keenum, but the backup Paxton Lynch skip at this point in time hill, I'll take a former attorney general Loretta Lynch to play backup quarterback, ova packs. Now that was a reach skipping some point in time. We gotta come to real evasion. He can't play. You just can't play. Doh can't play dead in a horror movie Janney. And we picked him out who've wait if guilt loom. The hoop picnic. I think you try to get in trouble scale. I used to go to Denver, go to the certain restaurant and eat, you try to revolt my meal privilege. I'm going to revoke your parking how that's what I'm gonna get on. After that John, you're gonna have to pay your way into mile high. Look, he he missed on brought miss, don't packs. I mean the, where do you put Trevor simian in their seventh round draft, pick he, he would he the great backup. You look at it when you came in at the first cousins, David. But when you ask him to three or four games, Trevor SIMI's guy too. The star comeback. He's your got, but not asking him to win on a long-term basis. But back to our original. Kirk cousins is a better player. Now, pro football focus with Bleacher report, say they had the number one receiving core. So now you fact that Dowling cook. Let me tell you how good Dalvand cook was before he got hurt. He was going to be offensive, rookie of the year, not having Kamar not Kamera came on like gangbusters. It would have been close, but now you get cook back who can do a lot of the things that commerical do. I thought latavius Murray look for look Davies Murray and can run the ball. So you look at feeling, you look at dig. You look at Cal Rudolph, you look at cook, you look at Murray. The question is, can that into lion hold up? That's going to be defensively scared. They loaded, they can come get you. The Rams defense can come get you. The eagles defense can come get. You also have offense that can put points on the board. But when you look at it, say eight of the top and ten of the top twelve teams reside in the NFC. The one thing you. And most of these can come get your quarterback, so can Kurt get the job short, but out of those two is this a question. I don't even think you. Is the question 'cause Ginny asked it and Ginny Taff from Minneapolis Minnesota's not going to like my it because I'm going to completely throw out everything I saw on Saturday night. Kirk cousins has been for the last five years, the biggest teas and all of sports and even bigger tease than Tiger Woods because Kirk cousins can't really back it up when you need to wheel. Kirk cousins is now the most overpaid quarterback in the history of pro football, Kirk cousins will not have quite as good a year this year as case keenum has for the Denver Broncos. And obviously it helps when you have digs and theline you'd say that's advantage..

"The promo code live l. i. v. e. for ten percent off, I actually used row pass to put this show together, and I feel like it's a c plus show so far. I mean, right, honestly, usually it's a d. minus. So yes, row pass. Improve your game. Offset by Matthews much better cell. Let's move along to the Denver Broncos second part of our double trouble for today. Another team with a new quarterback this off season case keenum was lights out last year for the Minnesota Vikings other. They felt like they had an upgrade available in Kirk cousins, who they signed as a free agent keenum goes back to Denver whether some familiar principles involved keenum of course, point played for Gary kubiak who an offensive and case, scouting consultants or offensive consultants, aunts college, scouting consultant for the Broncos, formerly their head coach. And of course a lot of the system is still in place there. So familiar territory for keenum. But after last year's remarkable sees Matthew, you buying it on him as a viable start of this year. I'm not, you know, it's a new system and wanna. See, exactly, but it wouldn't shock me like there are couple of quarterbacks that were just like, you never know obvious. It's fantasy football, but he's keep them last year. Last year is a perfect example. So I think keenum as a talented player, I think what keenum showed. That in the right system doesn't have like, I don't know, Jeff, Fisher coaching him. Keenum can be a productive NFL quarterback. And so he goes to a team that has two very good wide receivers into Maria's Thomas Emmanuel. Sanders we will see what they get out of Jake, but we will see what they get out of Cortlandt Sutton, but you're hearing positive things out of camp out of both of them. We expect them to have a good run game in a good defense. So yeah, it would not surprise me if case keenum became fantasy relevant. But at the moment, I don't have them ranked as such. I think it's going to be more of a run first conservative offense that tries to, you know, wear play good defense and run the ball. Well offset by, you know, the two receivers along those lines and play good defense and run the ball effectively Royce Freeman, devante Booker appear to be in competition right now. I guess Booker is the incumbent player incumbent starter rusher third round, pick out of Oregon at sixty sixty rushing touchdowns during his college. One of the most decorated run. IRS at a school that has a long list of NFL players on its resume. Other one of you start with us to do you envision a scenario where Royce Friedman doesn't eventually win the starting job?.

"How case keenum okay case keenum has been in the league since two thousand eleven i think or two thousand thirteen never really got a true shot in the nfl until he made it up with the vikings all right sam bradford goes down like i said keenum comes in and pretty much runs with that starting job okay bridgewater's able to play zimmer makes kim the starter still okay and he gets them all the way to the nfc championship game where they get blown out but nonetheless i don't think anyone really expected case keenum to make it that far all right at now we're at a point where can keenum do it this time but with the broncos and i'm not necessarily when i say can't can't do it i'm not necessarily saying can he take them to the afc championship game but can't he be the quarterback that we saw last season all right because i don't really do well as far as trusting one year wonders okay that's all that's what case keenum is right now one year wonder as good as he was he's got to do it again okay oneseason is not good enough and the broncos are going out on a limb this far as making keenum they're starting quarterback okay i don't believe they took a quarterback in the draft and at least they didn't take one high enough to where he could possibly challenge came him for that starting job all right this is case keenum's team this season and one plus four case keenum is that he does have talent on offense okay i will give the broncos that you still got marries thomas got manuals.

"A lot of players are going to be whether it's the right financial move or not for their long term i think a lot of them are going to be enticed still take those deals that are offered before the expiration of their contracts if not if a lot of people think otherwise and start doing it then maybe we'll see a sea change but i think this was a perfect storm in a lot of ways yeah that's really interesting actually we didn't think enough about i guess you need to have a certain amount of leverage and expectation for what the fallback is kevin i wonder if you're a vikings fan right now and you look at the success that they had lashed with that defense and with case keenum whose name doesn't sound great but who stats were actually quite good how much better can you expect them to be with kirk cousins and is it sort of a super bowl or bus mentality after last year it probably has to be because i mean look they went with case keenum it there's there's a quarterback they went thirteen three and made the nfc championship game you can't win many more games than thirteen so i don't know that we're gonna see kirk cousins come in and build improve their you know their their wing percentage because they already were pretty high and it wasn't just because of their defense case keenum had a really good year and the i guess the concern was that he may be couldn't repeat it or it was just a perfect storm for him but you know they'll they should be a in a small group of of of teams that are legitimate super bowl contenders from the nfc but you know i don't know how much better at least in the regular season they could they could be than they were last year so this is a move to get them over that very final hump like as i said they they they went to philadelphia and loss last year in the nfc championship game so the only way unfortunately that kirk cousins can produce a measurable improvement is to is to get to the super bowl at least and so yes my definition pressure but it's like what what he's ever done in the history of the playoffs before.

"Now you need to start a back i believe case keenum is the best option for the broncos it probably saved them in the neighborhood or ten to twelve million dollars a year so now they'll be able to go maybe addressed another issue offensive line maybe defense of land those we know john wanted to make a splash peyton manning we saw d wear from the cowboy he's a key to leave so in range they skip he's not trying to get no bottom feeder he not just trying to get just the guy no he's trying to get named guys proven guys i believe case keenum is the best option because it doesn't look like her cousins is going to be an option so i agree yes this is the right move for the broncos and i believe l we get a numbly job what i believe is that john elway took the easy way out he took these short term safeway out i'm not saying this is the best way out because i think there was a better way to go but it's a scary way to go and i think john had swung and missed and swung and missed enough times on quarterbacks in drafts that he finally said no moss i give up no more as he was saying the other day swinging and missing and he's admitted the other day i'm sure i'll swing again but he said not this time so he took himself off the quarterback hotseat by going with the tried and true not the case keenum is all that tried and true he's tried for one year through twenty two touchdowns seven interceptions and he took that team and minnesota all the way to the nfc championship game so he did that right and so you can feed off that you can play off that you can sell that to your fans by the way just for the record because anybody is followed me on television knows i've always liked.

"Cousins domino to fall in free agency you don't wanna be the one without a quarterback when the music stops so i thought that they would made the right decision to go out and get case keenum a trade didn't case keenum half the li like mike zimmer's comments about case keenum it was never like hey this is my guy we were we were we were documenting that this fall when we weren't watching maybe as much college basketball november december did that after every game vikings head coach mike zimmer would say yeah he's a starter for next week right so there was clearly and indication that for whatever reason mike zimmer and the coaching staff in minnesota were not as enamored with case keenum as you might think they would have been with the way he played you looked at look at case keenum's numbers they were very similar to what drew brees is numbers were and for whatever reason the minnesota vikings were like we're glad you're here for not really glad you're here it was it was an interesting dynamic in in a in a world where like popovich has to go talk too quiet letter to see if he's okay to maybe kinda sorta play case keenum was just like yeah you're fine we want again you played great we'll see i i don't think i've seen anything like that certainly at the quarterback position maybe maybe ever since the seventies i don't know but it was there was nothing that mike zimmer was say nice about case keenum so good for case keenum mike zimmer was being honest conversation told you everything you need to know about how they feel about case keenum they don't feel like he elevates to play around him around everybody he doesn't elevate the play with everybody around him it's more so everybody around him being able to help him be a good quarterback.

"So the details we have are limited only that keenum has agreed to sign with the broncos and if you know his history i mentioned this to start the show but gary kubiak coached keenum in fact may have drafted keenum if i'm not mistaken he may have drafted keenum in houston and now kubiak after having one super bowl fifty with the broncos and peyton manning and that fantastic defense he had to step away from coaching because of health concerns but he's the senior personnel adviser in denver he and john elway or like an old married couple not only was kubiak the backup qb elway during their playing days in denver kubiak then retired and became the offensive coordinator to elway when they were in denver so these guys have been working together for a long time this is back when i was a teenager and i became a broncos fan kubiak is he's as constant with the broncos as elway is the two of them have been synonymous for a long time and so they trust each other's opinions they obviously know what they want from the offense and the pieces that they want to put in the offense and the fact that kubiak is familiar with keenum and that there is a relationship already established in my opinion makes a big difference so you can find me on twitter a radio or you.
