Tanner and they launched this new serum. It's really cool. It looks like a ampule almost like a giant ampule that you turn to release the fluid and then you pump it and it will administer there's the tiniest bit onto your face. I really like it. They also launched a sulfur mask that i tried last night and i really like it too has three percent sulfur in it. And i think it's great if you are congested. Yeah and then you have to try it. I'm a big fan. So far i have on the lemaire concentrates i am. Sorry guys. yeah lemaire deal with it. Just consider us for when you're doing paid advertising. Thanks i have on my agustinus bader. Of course the rich cream. I put on keells daily reviving concentrate. I just feel like my skin is super fatigued right now. I haven't been on instagram stories. That much lately. Just calm down. The fatigue revitalize my entire mug so to speak. And i really liked. How layered underneath my sunscreen. So i use a sunscreen called coats. It means contains only titanium and zinc meaning titanium dioxide and zinc. Oxide physical are slash mineral sunscreen and usually when i put it on it kind of feels silicone like a primer. Who's i really have to blend it in. But it just smooth on so nicely. Over the keells daily reviving concentrates. I'm loving that combo. Some bare minerals dilemmas rescue foundation. Great if you have oily skin great if you're breaking up it cosmetics. Cc cream for underwrite. So it's just the cc. Cream but i- pod under my eyes to brighten up because it really does cover dark circles. I don't have any of the by under i right now. Sadly and then the stellar beauty halo setting powder. "This podcast isn't so much about hidden history as it is about aww forgotten event and that's the case. Today's podcast the moth man. The town of point pleasant is located in West. Virginia is a county seat for Mason County County population of about forty five hundred. The town isn't without its history though. Mark Twain grandparents called quite pleasant home as did kid kid pros who in nineteen forty came up with the design for the cheat and one of the last confederate generals John Closely and made his final Home there and died a Grimm's landing in nineteen twenty seven when you enter downtown point pleasant. You can't miss that twelve foot statue. The moth map the first off man side was by five men digging graves the cemetery and Clendenin West Virginia. Not far from point. Pleasant wasn't the date was November. Sixteenth nineteen sixty six. The next sighting of what was described as a man with giant wings of blood. Red Eyes was reported reported to the sheriff by two couples. Roger and Linda scarberry and Stephen Mary Mallett who said it followed their car that November number. The point pleasant register printed an article titled Couple Seaman Size Bird Creature or something. The national press picked up on the story and spread it across the United States of their sightings flooded into the sheriff's office including from to volunteer firemen with the sightings. Came Trad Pity after nearly a year of reported sightings and point pleasant on December Fifteenth Nineteen Sixty Seven. The silver bridge collapsed killing forty six residents in Russia. A Moscow sighting of the moth man was attributed to the nineteen ninety nine bombing of a large apartment complex. In point pleasant alone there for over two hundred reported sightings was similar descriptions. The moth man was also cited in the United Kingdom Germany France and Ireland. The interesting in fact is that all the sightings have nearly the same description unfortunately the sightings are often related to tragedy and from this emerged. John John Keells book the Moth Man Prophecies followed by the movie in Two Thousand Two starring Richard Gere titled The Mothman Prophecies But like like bigfoot flying saucers aliens the moth man despite many reported sightings from half a dozen countries and upstanding citizens with no ambition ambition for fame or financial gain or dismissed by skeptics while the original side of the Mothman comes from a region known as the Ohio Valley and are often written off as imagination poorer under educated a religiously superstitiously influenced individuals many of the sightings in Chicago. Oh the UK. Germany France Russia in Ireland can't be so easily dismissed.

"All weekend and on the way home I looked looked at it in in the mirror and my driver seen thought. Oh man this thing is. It's almost just so this things almost ready for a little squeezing action. You know the best part of the apple is the poppin open. Dr Pimple Popper. Those videos are massive for reason. People love that shit show I saved it for you lance and I was all ready to pop this batboy for or you tonight on the camera they were doing. Then I pull up I fire up. It's an answer. The skype call answered it with cameras ready to do this because this thing is boiling up. Yeah yeah now. We're not GONNA do that. Yeah had I known that I was going to be greeted with the mother of all. I would've gotten a camera setup for it. Maybe next time for another one will pop up so I'm GONNA so to speak as soon as this thing is over. Be- aligning to the bathroom. I'm going to see if I can if I can paint the mirror with this. This this Gooey gooey insides everyone's for everyone loves it. Everyone loves popping his. It seems that way. Do you have a home remedy for every time you get something like that what to do to get it to go away sooner or come to a head sooner or both now so over the past year like one of the things I've done over the past years tried to take control of my skin a little bit and try to overtake better of it. Good for you so have done like the whole went to keells and got the whole like test to die where they test the moisture levels and so I've been using a Lotta kills products. I don't really have like once it. My whole sort of hope is to prevent it from happening but when I get one I don't really have anything that makes it go away faster Mr so. I'm I'm open to anyone suggestions. If they've got something that helps doesn't happen all the time. It seems like now like I don't get little ones which is cool but when I do get one. It's been they've the few that I've gotten have been like like beefy boys boys. So you're how you're what you're are you forty eight sure. How old are you forty nine? Forty nine do you still each sued zip from time to time and forty nine time-to-time. It's still okay. Jesus deliver good is it. It's it shouldn't wouldn't be. You shouldn't get back ache from something mundane and also gets it. It's one or the other right. Don't give me you like growing old problems. But then also every once in a while a t h problem and it's GonNa have a teenage problem. I don't want like Oh. My tailbone hurts from sitting on the floor for five minutes right. Yeah if I want to teach teenage problem I want to pick the teenage problem. Yeah no yeah. I'm trying to say I'm trying to say without without saying what I want to say. Blizzard's Embarrassing Blitzchung Response - Kinda Funny Games Daily 10.14.19

"Going to be a kingdom hearts takeover i noticed i noticed the kingdom heart i i thought it was a soccer jersey knows kingdom hearts huge dork yes i am shouts mckee blade you mentioned you were very happy and you talked about how much hang out for twenty four hours not anymore headstone we broke we broke that in three years sucks man join us now absurd what's john everything else yeah well yesterday or i should say that last week of course all we did was talk about here on kind of funny games deal you giving you daily updates and what was happening however notably absent from the conversation of the message part of thinking globally leaving responsibly and every voice matters is can is it that we have players and fans and almost every country in the world our goal is to help players connect in areas of commonality like their passion for our games in create a sense of shared community this specific views expressed by blitz chung were not a factor in the decision we made i want to be clear our relationships in china had no influence on our decision we have these rules to keep the focus on the game and on the tournament to the benefit of the global audience and that was the only consideration in the actions we took this has been the opposing viewpoint delivering the same divisive and deliberate way we would have felt enacted the same okay what could blizzard have done better and where do we go from here over the past few days many players casters east sports fans and employees have expressed concern about how we determine the penalties we've had a chance to pause to listen community and reflect on what we could have done better in hindsight our process wasn't adequate and we were acted too quickly we want to ensure that we maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all our players and our rules are an processes are clear all of this is in service of another important blizzard value play nice play fair in the tournament itself blitz shung played fair we now believe he should receive his pricing we understand for some that this is not about the prize in perhaps for others it is disrespect we'll even discuss it that is not our intention but playing fair also includes appropriate pre and post mashed conduct especially when a player accepts recognition for winning on a bra in abroad the y. when we think about the suspension six months with cheung is more appropriate after what time he can compete in the heart stone pro circuit again if he if he so chooses there is a consequence for taking the conversation away from the purpose of the event in disrupting ordeal railing the broadcast with regards to the casters remember their purposes to keep the it focused on the tournament that didn't happen here we are setting their suspension to six months as well moving forward we will continue to apply tournament rules to ensure our official broadcasts remained focused on the game and are not platform for divisive social or political views one of our goals is to make sure that every player everywhere in the world are this a political views religious beliefs race gender or any other consideration always feel safe and welcome both competing in and playing our games at blizzard we are always listening in finding ways to improve is part of our culture they even your patients with us as we continue to learn cameron i just talked long time what was your initial reaction is this happen so when i read this originally on friday i actually like just laughed i laughed because i think that i it was just so silly to me and the response in certain certain aspects that like first and foremost that blizzard is an american company and if you're if you're an american company i think that your values should implements american american values ideals america ideals like free speech things like that and it makes me think like what if this was up boycott or something that happened at an event that wasn't in china you know what i mean yeah so when they said that that was not being a relationship china's no influence like you know we we can't with that to be true or false but like who's gonna actually believe that you know what i mean like there's such such a big market there that it's just really hard to to believe something in that in that regard and that the if it was the opposite way around where it was like a pro government boycott that they would still have t took an action like it i don't it's not a direct comparison but like the lead actress for the milan remake yes she was she supported the government in the in this whole situation like earlier this year disney didn't say anything like and you know and i feel like if that were the case it would have been the case with blizzard you know what i mean yeah so it's an and the main thing that really was confusing to me is the whole living with the commentators still being right because what did you expect them to do in that situation commentators thing is still something i'm i don't understand where the absurd suspension is coming from because we talked about all last week right they kick it over to blitz showing the see what's happening they put their heads down yeah i've seen once in your own in unsighted you're wrong that said the before they kick it over to bliss showing they say okay say that whatever the six words or four words you're going to say i've seen reported nowhere else i'm not saying it's not true but if that's the case then i guess it's shows that they premeditatively understood what was about to happen but i've seen that cited nowhere mentioned in articles insight for me and give me an article give more context and clarity two what exactly's going that'd be definitely be interesting but like if even if it wasn't even if they didn't know exactly protest against the chinese government that was like what did you expect them to do in that situation because like that doesn't happen like you know so professional commentators that were like hired by blizzard or whatever may be but like that was if that was me i probably would have had a alert reaction and after they that happens they kind of speak to them to each other and i mean i don't know what they say but then didn't they awkwardly clap they're like okay you know let's move on i guess so it was really weird to me that i that are being punished for something that like they as a as of right now that we think that they didn't expect so i don't know that's that's really weird to me still yeah overall and i'd like to think that on the show and i'm kind of funny content in general right tried to be as middle of the road who even keells i can't be right as we take it any way and stuff like having read this at five thirty on friday when it dropped and then having a weekend it here and process it and read it once more on this thing this statement is bullshit yeah the blizzard should be fucking embarrassed themselves like i can't believe again this is what hanging their hat on they had one entire week to come up with something and this is what they come up with this contradictory statements that reads almost bipolar as you go to our multiple personalities who are we talking they start here with it you know what i mean like our vision is to bring together we've core values that apply here think globally leader responsibly in importantly every voice matters inconvenient encouraging everybody to share their point of view yeah okay cool and then know at the end were penalizing for during his point of view because yeah just because it's an inconvenience to them and we're not a platform for divisive social or political views and i think it might have been jeff grab i retweeted but somebody on twitter put out yet no it was from jian crap sorry i want maybe john john ryan maybe somebody else iran but an agent who was the yes the divisive social political view of freedom is good yeah what the fuck are you trying to say here like and it's just so they just as gary gary was here he'd be talking about how his word salad yeah i wanna know like the number of lawyers and like PR people that blizzard have read through this and thought yeah this is what we've talked about last week as there's obviously it's coming down from on high of what you need to do here so it's definitely being all right cool we have to say something it's not going to be well received how do we go through this with eddie make it work in a sense i would have like in a sense i would have been atarot with them just being like hey we hear your criticisms things like that were sticking with what we said because that's where we are in a in a sense by like this like this is embarrassing like i don't i don't know what we can it's just a i am curious like since breath blizzard currently they recently got a new president with alan black and you know them being owned by activision now like from what i've seen in like from players like friends i have that are like wow players and things like that they feel like that blizzards quality in in general as a company has declined throughout the years since act divisions purchase slim merge so i don't know because correct me if i'm wrong appreciate the blizzard previous president he like step down because i didn't really like what activism wanted to do and i feel like that now that they got this guy in charge they can more endel the reins yeah as to what they do as a company so that's a little worrisome to i'm not sure though so to go back to the commentator stuff an anthropologist links me too post right but again this is the this is the comet that's up here right is someone going i completely understand that emotions running high there's translation on this one right this is just a person out here who's name is ESL sucks they've been voted a lot here but the quick translation says here's casters okay so you just say the words will stop here enough chitchatting for now don't forget to put your head down giggles and then blitz chung restore hong then that's even a different thing than what it is depending away but the one here is restore hong kong time for a revolution nassar's okay okay that's enough which isn't the translation give rails and as matt the wa points out in your own accord a PC gamer this is what the virtual was what the virtual the castor had to say about it quote the director only told me i have i have an interview the twenty six year old taiwanese catcher said he didn't about how he didn't talk about how he's wearing a mask so in the interview started i wasn't sure what the situation was i thought chung would only say what he just what we wanted to say which again is what we've been reading still have a comment now granted there's a translation issue here which you can even harder to figure out exactly what happened i haven't seen why they're being penalized for it but yeah it's it's really it's a really complicated situation and we're still in the middle of it we aren't getting out of story won for quite some time blitz chung then put out a response on twitter it is also lengthy i will read it in full thank you for your attention in the past one week this is a personal statement and my view on blizzard's latest decision first of all i'm grateful for blizzard considering the position about my band earlier this week i told media that i'm i'm sorry i told media that i knew i might have penalty or consequence for my act because i understand that act could take the conversation away from the purpose of the event in the future i will be more careful on that and express my opinions or show my support to hong kong on my personal platforms many people have been asking and i'm just going to read this incident has been asking me if i accept the latest decision of blizzard i will discuss that onto parts tournament pricing suspension for tournament pricing i quoted blizzard set on the official website they mentioned that i played fair in the tournament and they believe i should receive my pricing this is the part i really appreciate blizzard also said they understand for some this is not about the prize but perhaps her others disrespectful to even discuss it people from blizzard had explained this to me and this to me through his phone call and i really appreciate that and i accept their decision on his part for first second part about my suspension blizzard had changed on me from a year to six months once again i appreciate for their reconsideration on this to be honest i think six months is still quite a lot of still quite a lot to me but i also i'm being told that i can continue to compete in the hurston pro circuit which they mean the grandmaster tournament i appreciate for this decision they made because grandmasters currently the highest level tournament competitive heart stone however i wish blizzard can reconsider about their penalty on the two castres involved lastly many people wants to know if i would be competing in stone in the future honestly i have no idea on that yet since my next tournament is very likely to be the grandmaster tournament of next season it's it's probably at least a few months from now on i will take this time to relax myself to decide if i am staying in competitive are thrown or not heart-stopping changed the way i live i really love this community blessing to all the players out there and blessing to blizzard as usual bliss showing on this one i feel taking the high road and all this for sure i i appreciate of course understanding as he disagrees but still paying for are not pay paying tribute to blizzard i understand like this is the biggest thing about it yeah i mean there's not much is that he can do outside of that as of right now i i you know i feel like that there's not much more that's going to happen on unfortunately

"He was stunned because she told him that she had seen it hundreds of times hundreds. She says one time i looked out in apartment window and immediate yada so away there are at stood looking back at me with luminous protruding red is she said it seems like it doesn't want to hurt you but you too afraid when you see it to do anything thing. He said i asked linda how mothman usually departed and she said it just stands there takes its wings out just a tiny bit and goes straight up into the air now while there in nineteen seventy six brent started to call around he started to fund some of the other old witnesses virginia. Thomas was one who described the mothman experiences. Ncis was back on november. The second nineteen sixty seven husband ralph had worked as a caretaker at the wildlife station where they lived and on that day mrs thomas stepped outside i to cover over some motorcycles they had because the storm was coming in and she said she heard a sound like a broken fan belt on a car. I kind of like this broken fan. Don't let's start with without without the narrator and this this sound drew her attention and she looked across the road and sold his grayish form. She said it was shaped like a man but running like lightning. She said at ran so so fast she laid a concluded. It must have been some kind of robot. It just didn't make sense how fussing was moving and this is what you hear from the eye witnesses especially when they see the thing rise into the air like linda described. It's not flapping its wings. It's not obeying the laws of physics. It's something else entirely kheel noted that there were a couple of witnesses who described hearing this odd mechanical humming noise as they both man type creature was flying overhead as well and and you know hang on a second keep that in mind because full plus subscribers when i was talking about what happened with gabe felt is so gabe valdez was n._f._l. Trying to hunt down these lights what's that were seemingly associated with calculations that were happening in the area and one particular evening he cornered one of these lights and it seemed to blink yet but as wing-tat and flew over their heads it sounded like it was an all but they lawnmower driving this thing it was very much terrestrial as opposed to what you'd expect for extraterrestrial highly advanced his technologically advanced cropped but the fact is there was some suspicion that the military some group that was terrestrial was tried to put out fake autumn's out there too so this is the same thing that which is suggested about what was happening at point pleasant. There's some allegations which will get into the argued argued that the c._i._a. In conjunction with a particular program was trying to manipulate the paranormal phenomenon that was going on point pleasant during the moth man sobbing so that was definitely something paranormal haunting. It came to the attention of the c._i._a. And attempted to manipulate. That's bizarre that you mentioned the c._i._a. And the extension because of course i have of how the c._i._a. Cock block john keells librarian if all that wasn't on purpose that just happened to synchronicity definitely coming up. Well one reason why. I don't think this was some kind of <hes>. Terrestrial mechanical operation is because many of the eye witnesses said that it hypnotized them. It's somehow mao controlled. They're thinking <hes> mrs thomas in particular said it took over my thinking she says she heard crackling and popping noises filling aires her eyes eyes were fixed on the creature she was unable to look away and although she was able to open her mouth she couldn't utter a sound now. Mrs thomas tall brent brent. She was a devout pentecostal shot. A few prophetic dreams as well so again this kind of psychic influence was tied in with all these sightings <hes> she had dreams about the collapse of silva bridge in december of nineteen sixty seven a number of <unk>. That's what yeah exaggerated that took..

"That is. Oh, so the thing is Buddhism. No, it's not. But there you go. I mean it could I suppose be a fear of Buddhism, certain point of view. But the, the, the other thing that the movie kind of suggests a couple of times, which interestingly the, the novella of abruptly, and without any kind of justification cuts off this possibility. But in the movie, it seems as if you could be already infected and not know that you're infected, there's an interesting point where the guy the guy who becomes the the belly chomper he is like helping to barricade the Cam, and he suddenly like feels a pain in his stomach and looks a little worried about it, and then doesn't do anything. And then later on he, he sort of Keells over apparently dead. And it's at this point that they're like trying to revive him that his stomach opens up and, and bites the doctor's hands off. So like, yeah, he could have fallen over dead on purpose to make that happen. But there's no one. Around when he suddenly like has this Pang goes like ow, and then goes right back to, to barricading, the door, whatever it is doing which kind of suggests that like he was in the process of being converted at that moment and didn't realize it, yet, which is another landowner layer of really intense anxiety for me. Yeah. I mean, I you know, so, so you like this stuff, Jordan. I really do. I don't know quite what it says about me fairly idyllic childhood, and all these things go. Maybe that's why. But, but it's a real fun thing to follow in, and I also do, as I say, I really enjoy the aesthetics of it a lot. Well, sure. Yeah. And it is it's definitely like there was, I was looking at a shot of. What was he doing? Russell was was drinking and dictating into a microphone and it was like a beautiful beautifully composed composition with, like foreground Bill ground in background. It was lit so, well, you know, the stuff that was in the shot, including a bottle of J and B. And like dented cana-, Coors was was like perfect the Meson sent expressed the character without having to explain anything in tile. Log like I was like this is extraordinarily artful. And that's you know, I think that's, that's some John carpenter stuff. Right, right there. Right. Like that. The sort of the artful nece of the way the film is made is is down to really good direction. Yeah. While we're talking about that particular scene. The shots are framed. In such a way that like amps up things -iety. Right. There's the door frame. Yeah. The door frame over his shoulder. And yes, these suspect that something is out there. And then, also you see the shot from behind right as if there some one or something behind him looking at him. This is the thing that horror movies. Do they imply a point of view? Right. And sometimes, I think it's probably stronger when it's not a red herring.

"You know what I mean? Like it's very silky like a highlighter, but you're surprised it's an crayon format because it's so smooth. Exactly. Thank you for helping me talk about it. Okay. What do you want to? I am really excited about a Keells product and you know that I love a bit of Keells, you know, that my husband worked there for a long time, but this is unbiased, okay? Because is I it took me a little bit to try it. And. No, I tried it yesterday. And I have to tell you, I felt immediately soothed. It is the Keells Colangelo water cream. I have been seeing that everywhere. And I've been tempted to try, but then I was like, I don't have spot in my skin care routine. Tell me lion need it is. I'm I'm it's like my skin care areas, like a club. It's like one in went up Abe so something's coming out. Coming out, but some things coming out and this is why put on. So I've been feeling and we could talk about this another segment because actually want your help my skin when I put on my makeup in the morning, it's sick. Okay. I get to work and it's like it's it's gone. It's like continents. It's like crusty up on my forehead crusty here. But g is like, yeah, exactly. It's, it's not even. And it's nothing. I'm wearing a ton of makeup. It's, it's something going off my skin, where some bits are like holding onto make them and other bits or not. I mean it's not. I just I, I'm going to go away from foundation for a bit because everything's getting crackly. So at the end of the day, look to myself, a shrieked in horror. It was like crackles everywhere. "To sleep with some nice moisturised hands. I I would say to this listener too. You can get a manicure without getting polish. Yeah. Yeah. I do because I'm in the same boat. I kind of pick it my nail polish can't ever make it last. But I do find just even like once a month or once every couple of months having someone professionally like, shape, your nails, just kind of gives them a nice clean. Look, you can keep them really short biting them. But it will still make them look like neat and tidy, and my cuticle always look terrible unless someone else fixes a pick at my I was actually just going to say I have a cuticle Nipper that I use mostly only for hangnails. I don't use them. I don't really trim cubicles myself because I think you can you can really over trim your cubicles, and that's really bad for your hands. But if I have a hangnail, I'll just nip it with my little cuticle Lummer one last tip. I went to Sephora the other day for one thing and found myself needing a basket with an armful of products because Sephora irately came in for a new day cream as my location currently doesn't have any Keells products my previous brand. And when I picked out a new brand, I started to become overwhelmed because the instructions on the back were to add toner serums et cetera to your regimen. "And so they attributed to maybe they were being hypnotized, and maybe that I suspect that's where the the comic book got that idea. I mean to be fair. So I should mention this so Keells nutty seventy five in the nineteen nineties. Lowell, Cunningham writes the comic book men in black and in the company that that created it gets eventually bought by marvel. So the movie series has been very successful in the movie series. They got the black suits and the old car car, and then they've got the the sunglasses that got a near allies earlier. They are working to subvert or suppress information about aliens in all of paranormal stuff. I think I believe the book they covered all kinds of things including where wolves vampires. So it's. Yeah, I was gonna ask if there. Any. Relevant or the related many weights other kinds of Parnell in a light. Big Ford. Let ghosts and you say we'll have some kind of connection there. They may be. I like I say, the book they are, but I don't remember reading anything in particular, but there's so much overlap, especially in the nineteen seventies with Bigfoot and you afford those. We probably should do it up about that because that seems to have fallen out of favor in the in the folklore or reporting literature. But it used to be a big thing that the sort of tie between Bigfoot new oppose. There's a lot of interesting stories at their about it. So in that sense. Yeah, exactly. I, I can't see for sure. I don't recall reading about any those about men in black related to Bigfoot, but that certainly doesn't recall maybe right. Keep you a his will played. I'm getting a headache and I smelled sulfur. How do you explain this. I'm to ask you the question to earlier about the minimum black lazing. Do they ever returned there? Any stories of people saying they came back with a lot of times. I don't recall anything. About multiple visits in antidote is kind of the black eyed kids. They just show up the do some weirdness, and then they leave. Let's just say that if the if the federal government had a neuron Baid be using the crap out of it. So I think it would be way more popular than twin. Really anyway, exactly exactly. Why is it the the men in black way seem to come into or sometimes in threes wise, it never just one name is black with the original sightings. It was always threes, but in some of the stories, it's one. Especially the stuff that John keel reports, it sounds like mini black experiences, but it's just one person showing up asking peculiar questions and a lot of his are. Do you know the UFO investigate or John keel. What would you say to someone who said they had seen a flying saucer? They talked really weird. Fluck robots again. Right line robots, right? Yeah, you know, it's, there's something artificial about the way they communicate. That's right. Maybe that's where the robot stuff comes from. It sounds very robot. You being in the speaking spill. Inc issue. I've by the way that. That's a routine. Chris much if you head about this just a little bit of research, this episode at supposed encounter that Dan ackroyd had. Have you heard of that story at all? So I was gonna look this up when you and I didn't get to. So do you remember what he saw or what? Hap-. Oh, great. Now you putting me on this. That's how I he was. He was filming some kind of documentary, and I don't know how long ago this was, but he was a apparently in the middle of his family in it was having a compensation with Britney speeds at the. "It's peculiar but ultimately different to the modern stories to know it is very different and it's very clear early on, whatever's going on is is not government agents. It's not human beings. It's something else by the end of the book, it's aliens. It's alliens and they've set up a secret base in Artika and they've decided to let bender no under the condition that he tells no one. And at the end of the book, he explains that he had to keep the secret if he ever even thought about trying to tell somebody get this massive headache and couldn't talk about it. And ultimately, even even he got married and he wouldn't tell his wife about what the answer was. Instead, he gave her a list of possible answers and let her pick, but none of the possible answers were the real one and she as with him, which bless her heart, what a Saint. She believed him. I don't know if she believed him, but she stayed with them. So that's nice. Yeah, it sounds so different to the Moton stories in like something psychological was going on the it sure seemed like it. So alternately these aliens are on earth and they're taking something some minerals or something from the ocean, and then reducing it down to little cubes and it's vital to their propulsion systems and then they're going to leave. And when they leave, they've only tell him, okay, well you could do no harm because we're out of here. And so now he's in a story. I could tell the story, but now it's nineteen sixty three the aliens of left. So anybody else sees you Afo I have no explanation for that. You know what I mean? It's a little weird. Yeah. So in nineteen seventy five, John Keells book the Mothman prophecies also has similar characters. There's these people showing up in pleasant who are very mysterious. It's like they don't seem to understand how to eat food or how to get a drink of water, or I mean, it's it's very similar in a lot of minute black lore. They they, they come and tell you, first of all, I should say a lot of the stories. They don't tell you anything. They ask you questions, but there peculiar questions are then they don't seem like they know how basic earth things work, like, how does the door work are are, what is jello? How do you eat steak? You know, all the all these kind of things and do they communicate telepathically for sure. Yeah, all of the bender stuff was telepathic and also should be an actual piece of Mitchell. Yeah. And he says, another kind of cool thing is the seems a little lovecraft in effect. He he got this secret base in Artika kind of like the in the in the mountains of madness, and when he seemed them as human beings or they look awesome, right? They're all very fit. Looking at what point there's this kind of. I don't want to say it's a Roddick. It's it's it's clinically detached yet kind of erotic where these women come in and have to rub lotion all over his body, but he never never describes anything sexual about it, but it's it's a peculiar detail that doesn't. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. I'm not gonna say anything sexual happen, but I got a full body massage by a lot of ladies. You know. So one question just with the gamut of sightings in the people had over the years, what do they supposedly look like? Because I've had different descriptions that usually bull that in have eyebrows go to be plastic like skin. That's where it gets really weird bender says they look like humans, but at one point he like is able to see through the illusion and he sees what they really look like, and they're horrific. They look like the flatwoods monster, which was, oh, what are the weird creature seen in West Virginia. It predates the Kentucky goblins by little bit, but it was probably one of the first big alien UFO monster, sightings. So they initially had some kind of costing than in reveal that yourself depression. It was telepathic like he was being forced to see the sexy, sort of a classic contact. He handsome, earthling kinda look, but under the under the they were all monster all the way down. Yeah. And so they and they seem a little bit menacing. I mean, they the implications were that you know they could destroy the earth they want to right now. They're just peacefully grabbing their stuff and getting out of here. They're Oh, they're just just..
