I think that was probably one of the harshest lines of questioning by Josh hawley. And Ted Cruz went after Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court Justices being threatened, a man wandering through Brett Kavanaugh's neighborhood with full tactical gear on, ready to kill him, admittedly. And the Justice Department doing absolutely nothing. So if you're a meemaw and you have a 25% American flag and the capital police usher you into the U.S. capitol, you get put on the terrorist watch list and you spend the rest of your life in jail. But if you are a man kitted out in tactical gear with deadly weapons and you go up to kill a Supreme Court Justice that was appointed by president Trump, you get a ticket to the chocolate factory, okay? You get to go to go to the candy shop. Merritt Garland kitten club. And look, the more laws the less justice. So Garland is choosing what laws to enforce based on his own political revenge. Look, Merrick Garland is a craven old man who is bitter. He's bitter he never became a Supreme Court Justice. He's bitter that seat remained open. Remember, Barack Obama put Garland up for that seat and the turtle to his great credit, Mitch McConnell refused to put it up for vote. It was one of the great things that the parliamentarian of the Senate from Kentucky ever did and he does deserve credit for it, and we won that shock election in 16 and Gorsuch filled the seat that Garland wanted.

I think businesses is a lot like surfing. You can be a really bad businessmen but if you pick the right way you will look good and make it to shore you can be the best business man in the world if you pick the best surfer in the world if you pick the wrong wave. You're not getting anywhere. And so the ability to pick that wave. is is so critical. And when you're an expert you often miss the wave the nextwave and the next wave. And that's why you know. Having a balanced perspective is so important and so so hard to do. I like that metaphor. I think you have to be a little bit lucky. And you have to be tenacious. And what about your parents might where you you mentioned middle-class. I'm assuming your parents maybe weren't entrepreneurs avid. I don't wanna make that assumption. So i asked no. They weren't My my father. grew up In seattle and he got a scholarship to notre dame He was He's debate debater. And a rotc He met my mom at a mock republican convention at notre dame. My mom kicked his seat and asked them to please. Kindly shot up and somehow turned into a first date And my dad went over to vietnam for three years. You'd come home just long enough to impregnate my mother and then go back to war. And then he took a job at keebler to keebler his whole career so he was a lifer And my mother You know she worked as a teacher and then became a stay at home. Mom so they They talked about entrepreneurship but they didn't own their own businesses. So i i learned on my own through jobs that i got a again. It was just totally coincidence. Luck i think that i found up working for those types of companies and you mentioned Having money in your pocket in equating that with freedom. How did you use your freedom at that time. The freedom that money perfect provided you reminds me so it said at the end of the summer. I'm going into my junior year in college. And my dad said well man. You've been working hard all summer. And he and i said yeah he goes. How much money have you save for college. And i'd made probably about fourteen thousand dollars which is a lot of money back then just worked my butt off and i had. I said i think i've got I think i've got twenty two hundred dollars. Dad looked at me. And he's just the the life left his face you know and he's his shoulder sagged zero moment for me. I'll never forget what's what's the matter he goes. I just feel like. I failed you as a father and i know what you mean to. And he goes. I just don't think i've taught you the value of money and go dad. Hey and at that moment. I realized it was on me. You know and said hey listen this is my deal. I got this i. I'll take it from here. It's my responsibility. I'll find a way to pay for college. You know i'll get the loan ago. So the short answer is i spent it and had fine. That's what i do with the money but it was just part of the adventure We can do a whole other show about people's relationships with money. I think it's fascinating for me. It's just it's always been kind of a fuel for fun and memories make memories with money. Yeah and sometimes you have to spend it to get the lessons that come along with having it. Just yeah for sure. And i think that one of the lessons was that i i could make you know i. I've always had a lot of confidence. Like i can't. I'm a super social person. But i think that if i was in there i would just need brakes like to i understand. Why is it has been like sitting in her room. I've been hearing on the updates. Keebler like us has been hanging out in a room. She's been disconnected from. Everybody and i completely understand game wise why she shouldn't be doing this but i also understand from human levels. You just need a break.
