So now they're saying that because before they wouldn't say that they were capitalist. And they were all coming out and saying, I'm socialists. Yeah. There was that thing they were doing that for a while or at least denying denying. No, no, you just like this thing. Go are you a social circuses? But in the end there so far to the left whether they're not gonna come over and vote for Donald Trump. It's the people that Joe Biden was talking to yesterday, which is going to make the decision on who's the next president most likely people in Pennsylvania in Wisconsin in Michigan who are friendly enough to Donald Trump's policies that they supported him last time, but friendly enough to Barack Obama's policies that they support them the two times before that all they need to do is turn a decent amount. I mean, the the numbers about forty thousand spread over three states forty thousand people who switched from Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump if they had done the opposite and voted the other way, Hillary Clinton is your president. So that's how close it is here. And if that were to occur with Joe Biden president can you get forty thousand people in those three three states to switch. I think there's a good chance of it. At least. That's that's the on paper argument for Joe Biden. Now, if he's out there slurring words and falling asleep in the middle of speeches. It's not gonna work that's going to be a problem. You know, Donald Trump is able to Donald Trump has been Donald Trump for as long as we can remember him in nineteen ninety-five. He do an interview and sound just like he does today. It came out today plan for solving climate change and inequality that even some within her own party or having a lot of trouble Wapping their heads around. So Neil Marquez took a look. I am so incredibly excited that we are going to transition this country into the future the transition Alexandria cost. You a Cortez is talking about is her first piece of legislation a nonbinding resolution the green new deal that goes beyond climate change way. Beyond today is the day that we truly embarked on a comprehensive agenda of economic social and racial Justice in the United States of America. That's right surrounded by house and Senate veterans, the freshman democrat from New York took center stage. So do you want me you, please? The same resolution being introduced in the Senate by Ed Markey from Massachusetts elected to congress thirteen years before Cossio Cortez was born we now have the troops. We now have the money. We're ready to fight the resolution just fourteen pages. Long by some estimates could cost trillions calls for a revolution. In the way. We live. Viewing climate change as an existential threat to the entire world. Fire drought rising sea levels, increasingly violent storms famine and mass migrations is what we face they warn if radical change isn't embraced now where here to say that small incremental policy solutions are not enough. "Rob ably. Welcome back. You are the vice president for communications at heritage the editor in chief of the superb daily signal. Follow him at Robert Bluey, B L U E Y on Twitter. I'd like you to listen with our listeners to a Cup from CNN last night off the state of the union from none other than John king. Cut twelve then the president I'd states at this moment in the world did not mention climate change in even a sentence is just frankly. Is it as grace rob Louis that he didn't mention climate change or all of the threats that are perhaps more important that he did talk to us about. Well, I think the threats he talked about were certainly more important. But that's that's certainly my personal perspective. You're hearing not only this from the media, which is probably not surprising. But also people like Bernie Sanders who who are criticizing the president for not talking about climate change. I mean, you have to remember their obsession a fanatical obsession among the media and the left when it comes to this issue. So the fact that the president didn't mention it is annoying them to all you know, beyond the pale. I mean, they can't take it. They they just can't believe it because it's like a religion to them. And so, you know, this is the classic thing that Trump will do and I just an easy today. Because he's he's he's neglected their their signature issue. This is a great point the the great author Michael Crichton who. In fact, not just the north of but an MD and the surgeon he gave a commencement speech shortly before he passed in which he talked about for the secular left environmentalism is their religion the human spirit craves the transcendental. And when you did ni- God you have to find him somewhere else and for them. It's guy Robert Bluey. What are you more worried about in terms of threats to the nation of the president mentioned last night? Well, I think one of the biggest threats is is right here in our own homeland. I mean, we we heard the president lay out in very clear terms that threats that we face from people crossing our border. I mean, there are not only it's not always that humanitarian crisis where the people who are are making that trek north, but the the the drugs, and and and the other gang violence that our communities are are suffering from me is in many cases tied back to those individuals. So there is a threat right here in our homeland. And then of course, there are a number of a number of factors overseas. But I thank you. And I've talked about in the past the bastion where we're confronting challenges North Korea. You know, obviously, we're making what appears to be some progress with the president personally putting a lot on the line at stake. But, but obviously, you know, still to be determined in terms of what what automatically comes of this latest summit. So a number of things that the president outlined. I mean, the the state of the union is always an opportunity to focus Americans on those foreign threats. And it's it's something that you don't often hear about in our day to day. Lives because we're not necessarily always thinking about those things that are happening at the international stage. And in the last minute, we have with you, should we be worried about socialism. Or is that just a bugaboo? Well, I think we should certainly be worried about and I wanna thank you for the PC rose to the daily signal this week. It was tremendous. And I highly popular by the way, because I think that the argument that you made that we need to talk about the American dream in a way that connects with people, I think young people today are so infatuated with the with identity politics people like Alexandria, Kazuyo Cortez that they they've lost. They've lost sight of what's great about America and the freedom that we have and socialism what strip that all the way you heard it here from Robert Bluey vice president for communications at the Heritage Foundation. Another amazing organization that if you have the capacity you should support because they've been fighting for the founding principles of the Republic. For decades and under the new leadership of Kate, James. They are going to be even more important. Thank you for. Joining us follow Robert Bluey on Twitter. And also do what I do every morning check out the daily signal, which is the heritage foundation's Marquis publication now listeners, I have a challenge for you. Personally. Can you think of at least one thing that you no longer do that you wish you could do.

"ID El paso's, News Radio six hundred eighty s Sam. So. I was thinking about this as you were talking about Mexico going down this passive path of socialism. And it's the same thing that happened in Venezuela where you start with these sort of high aspirations this utopia can be there. That's what's promised. And then when you get there and the process goes on there's new problems that pop up, and these problems are always blamed on someone else, and they come up with some little replacement way. Like, they're putting in all the oils and trucks. And when that happens, they'll come up with say, though, that's too corrupt and that we need to nationalize it. And it goes down this road until you get to complete collapse. What you're seeing in Venezuela. Socialism is essentially the fire festival. He's the documentaries came hours. So right. It's exactly the same thing. They started out. They set all these supermodels down to island in the Bahamas. Amazing. And they gave you the thirty second. Unbelievable promo that looks like the greatest event of all time. It's all frigging supermodels and the riding jet skis. And and they're eating, you know, glorious gourmet food, and this is going to be fantastic. So all these people get excited about it. The all jump on board the thing that everyone's talking about and in that process behind the scenes, they're coming up with huge problems. They're trying to fix them. They're they're redirecting everything they can't figure out a way to solve these problems. And they keep pushing it down the line until the people show up, and it's desolate into the complete destruction. Because they do what socialist do. And that is they come up with an idea that utopian, it's great. But they haven't thought of the infrastructure. They haven't thought how many planes can we even land on this island in a short period of time? You don't have the infrastructure to do that. How 'bout the bath? Room facilities. Yes, you can go and go to the bathroom right now. And it's fine. But if you have forty thousand people here do even have bathroom facilities how about electricity. So they didn't think of any of those things they were just promising. This utopia thinking we can pull it off. Don't worry. We'll pull it off figure it out all the way to the end to where people were still coming in. They were they were on their way. And everyone had said this is going to be a disaster, and they were still telling themselves. No, we're going to be like Woodstock that was a mess too. But we're going to do it this lime. It's different. Yeah. No, it's true. I mean, listen to what Alexandria Kazuyo Cortez says when they say hi gonna pay for all this will find a way that's the same thing that happened with the fire festival. They kept saying, well, we'll find a way. Yeah. There's these problems in this problem. But again, we'll get through this will find a way we could do it. We're looking for people they fired people over and over and over again because all the way along the people were saying, no, I'm an expert in this. It can't be done you have to cancel this. And they fired. And they said we're looking for people who do not just bring complaints figure out how to do it. And they're like we can't. Figure you're fired as we're going to do it. The these documentaries have been used in some ways as a critique on capitalism because we all these millennials are thrown all their money around and these guys were all, greedy. And they kept doing that is really the story of every socialist nation on earth. It starts with that utopian promise it degrades over time, and it ends in complete collapse. That is the story of every one of them. And it's the same story with the fire festival. They ran it like a socialist country. The right. They took out all the economists. Who said, you know, the socialized this and that won't work they just ignore. And find new economists who say that their plans will work, and that's exactly what the fire festival did as well. They kept bringing people new people in. They started trying to have to work twenty four hours a day to try to get these things done. Look people who did the five year plan over in China Mao he came up with a five year plan, the first economists stood up and said, it's not gonna work. They were executed then they went through it. And I don't know how many millions of people died the first year new economists came in and said, okay, we just want to let you know x. Number a million people have died this year. They were executed. Nobody said anything on year three or year four but going into year five said the same thing. Now, it millions have died. It doesn't work. Wow. This is how we should stop it. And we can change it. They were executed. It will work. It doesn't the math has to be done. And I'm sorry. But math is not racist. Math is universal..

Well, let her explain it. What's immoral about it, listen to this? It's also a moral question. It is the policy translation of a proposed answer to what kind of society. Do we wanna live in? Are we comfortable with a society where someone can have a personal helipad while no this city is experiencing the highest rates of people experiencing homelessness since the great depression should those two things at the same time. "An eight sixty eight AM the answer. Mike gallagher. We're living in very serious times. And I've warned you over and over again Alexandria. A Kazuyo Cortez is dangerous. Socialism is dangerous and this young former bartender is now going to be on the House Financial Services committee alongside chairwoman Maxine Waters. Let that sink in. Meanwhile, with this shutdown that continues, the president practically begging the Democrats to talk to him to negotiate to have they wouldn't even go to the White House yesterday. They they are so convinced by the polling, and by the way, the winds are blowing that they can they can make this just a a winner for them. Politically, forget the people who can't pay their bills. They don't care about the the government workers who are getting paid. They don't give a rat's rear end about them. If they did they'd say, well, yeah, we'll hold our nose. And we'll go to the White House and sit down with the guy and try to hammer out a deal. They didn't even go to the White House yesterday wouldn't even walk wouldn't even darkened the door because they don't want to negotiate. And now comes this incredible. News extraordinary news that a socialist. And I'm not name calling her. She's a self-described socialist is going to be serving on the on the influential House Financial Services committee. Let's start with bluish. Hey, bruce. Welcome aboard. How're you doing? I've been listening to you said she got in low of love. Thank you very much. Present means a lot to us very much. Just sums up the whole Democratic Party. They're putting socialist on average many Cayenne, and I'm just gonna listen to what you got. Say this is this is utterly nuts. All they've lost their minds. They've lost their minds. And and you know, Bruce, a lot of this enrolled along it was funny. And all here's a bartender, and oh, she's on with Stephen Colbert. And she funny. Oh, she's dancing. There's a debate about this is a socialist socialism is the antithesis of what it means to be an American. I'm not I'm sorry. I don't want to just go into ad hominem name calling here. But we ought to be afraid of what's happening right now. And we ought to recognize these Democrats have a head full of steam. They think they've they think they've got the wind at their back. They're wrong. But it won't stop them. Think about a socialist economic socialist on the House Financial Services committee, oversees, the housing industry and more importantly overseas, Wall Street overseas the banks overseas. Our economy socialism. You rolled your eyes at seventy percent tax rate. You make do you make three four five hundred thousand a year eight hundred thousand a year a million a year. Maybe you make five million ten million a year. You better. Hang on you better. Hang on Lou, you're on the Mike Gallagher show. How you doing Lou? Pretty good. Thanks for picking up. You bet. Led to join us. What do you think? My question my question. Well, it's a question. And it's what I've been thinking a long time for about. And years. It's how can a socialist run under a democratic ticket in an election. When I can't even vote across party lines in an election. It's a good question. I mean, maybe. Basic everything everything that's normal. Isn't I grew up learning about norms? There are there are there there isn't a norm anymore. There are no more rules. Nobody is calling anybody out. How can you be a socialist and run as a democrat their separate political parties? Right. It's a it's a separate ideology. It's a separate some actual. It's a good question. It's you kind of get into the weeds in terms of the history of socialism. Is it applies to the to the United States socialism in a place like Venezuela, socialism and other parts of the world? But you're right about the norms. And believe me, this doesn't have a thing to do with President Trump. You could hate him for his tweets and not like his style. And you call him abrasive, whatever. Whatever. I mean. They're still writing about the Clemson pizza party and the and the burger party. Now, the Washington Post did an analysis that was this morning, right? Latch, the Washington Post did an analysis of how. Much it cost him he paid for it. And how much food that really? Was there still obsessing about the president invited the Clemson Tigers into the White House? They're goofy. I mean, they're not. And it's insane. But what we can't laugh about it any this is serious. We've never should have laughed about it. I mean, the the idea that a socialist that it confirmed self-described socialist is going to be holding our economic future in her hands along with crazy, anti Maxine..

You know, his truck pointed out in a wave election that's nationalized on a referendum around say trop, Indiana goes democratic doesn't doesn't stay Republican. And so when you look at at an early hour on that on the house races. We know enough already to be able to tell that the notion of a blue sue NAMI crashing over Donald Trump's Washington does not look like at this hour that it's materializing. In fact, when you look at the remaining US Senate seats that are falling play chances are overwhelmingly likely that there will be pickups in the Senate, very briefly. I've never seen this amount of money this amount of airtime to try to. Thwart anything? I've never. I mean. I don't think this kind of airtime and money was spent for any war that I have lived in. I don't think I've ever seen this ever. They weren't this lockstep to convince us that war was good. And we had to go fight. Our enemy never I didn't see it with the Soviet Union. They didn't spend this kind of time and money in my lifetime. Trying to convince us that the Soviet Union was evil. They put everything on the table. They left everything on the field. The Democrats and the media and Hollywood have left all of it on the field. And gosh darn it. They just came up short. Now. Here's the one thing. They're not going to do reflect. They are not going to reflect. I did. And I have some advice. I assume advice for the Democrats, but they will never listen. And in fact, they had Michael Moore on MSNBC. They are doubling down. Which is exactly what I expected them to do. I celebrate that. The worst thing they could do is double down the worst thing. They could do is say, oh, okay. Zioka Kazuyo Cortez. She's the new face of the democrat. That's the worst thing. They could do for them. It's the best thing that could happen to our constitutional Republic. They are going to double down. They are going to get worse. And they're trapped. They really are trapped. Nancy Pelosi came out immediately said we are not going to impeach. Well, nancy. How are you going to keep all of those that currently one to eat you? How are you going to keep those people on the left that you brought into the party that are so radical that all they want to do all they want his blood? That's all they want forty one percent of the people who voted last night. So I can pretty much guarantee. They're all Democrats forty one percent that went into the poll last night. They said they wanted to impeach Donald Trump forty one percent. How are you going to keep those people at bay? How are you? Not look like a traitor to the cause to those people. There is a war that is happening right now in the Democratic Party Nancy Pelosi probably will not allow impeachment to happen because it would be the worst thing. But I don't know she can keep that party together. It was a it was not an optimal night, keeping the house would have been fantastic. But both sides should have learned something. And here's the first thing the Republicans should do the Republican House has already passed one hundred bills. I don't even know what they all are. But some of them are probably pretty good. They've already passed them. They're just waiting for the Senate. The Senate should pick up those one hundred bills and they should pass them. Then congress should get together right now and put together another tax cut. You could pass it right now. Pass another tax.

"Soa guys who you call you call radio hin because they'll show up. Will they the Israel? Yeah, they have stood firm. Absolutely. There was somebody else to that went to Israel despite everybody yelling at them. Cure cure. Right. I don't think that's who I'm thinking of maybe, but I thought it was another rock group that that went there and said, no, we're going to go. We're going to go play there. And everybody was yelling and screaming about it and they did it anyway. The cancellations turned the weekend festival. Into the latest battleground between Israel and the boycott movement that says, it seeks to end Israeli rule over Palestinians campaign organizers claim success saying it reflects growing up -sition to the Israeli government policies among international millennials. The fact that these artists are canceling is showing just how different the younger generation is viewing Israel, if that's true, that's a real shame. It's a real shame. Because how do you go with the Palestinians and. Their support of terrorism and a terrorist organization that rules much of Palestine over Israel, a nation. We have much in common with the campaign was founded back in two thousand five calls for boycotts divest -ment and sanctions against Israel businesses, cultural institutions and universities. It's despicable, but it's working. I mean the right millennials. Look at Alexandria Kazuyo Cortez. She's an Israeli hater. She obviously called them occupiers. So all these little socialist leaning millennials are jumping on this Palestinian bandwagon, and it's it's it's really a shame. It's it's sad to see triple eight, nine hundred thirty three ninety three and a patent leashed Americans love guns. It's part of who we are cut, it's enshrined in our constitution. But if you watched a video of an actual firefight, one thing is cleared. The fear, the chaos, the fog of a live fire situation can make hitting the target difficult for even the most seasoned professional. I was just watching one of these over the weekend. And there was an officer. Who started firing at somebody inside a car. He's standing just outside the car and they shot at him. I missed and so he shooting back them over and over over over a missing. I mean, it's so it's not enough just to buy a gun and assume that you're going to be ready for the real thing. Do what we do in practice frequently with I target pro this use, utilize your smartphone and their proprietary app, and it tracks a caliber specific laser which fits your firearm and will detect exactly where you're shots are landing. You just made me think of this. You do this in your garage. You could sit in your car, your handgun and set up the target on your phone on the other side of the garage, if you wanna practice like that, yes, or anywhere in your house. Yeah, because bullets are not going through your wall outside. You're, you're not going to exactly wherever you think you're probably.

Voter and then. Suddenly. They come out and they say this is a monster this man's? A racist shouldn't they say okay so now can you? Show us some sort of paper trail. Here. How do we, know that you were. A Trump voter they kept reiterating over and over again Alison camaraderie kept saying these are Trump voters why even do this panel of Trump voters to find out? Whether they, regret their vote or not, when the statistics and the polls that these guys rely on I mean if the poll say something then. These guys stopped the presses and they go for an hour about what the polls are, telling them we'll Paul show the Republicans now support Donald Trump. At the level of ninety two percent which is the best, of any Republican president in modern history so why even go through the motions. Of doing this poll it's a non story except you get this guy I want to apologize to the nation for my vote for him it was the wrong thing to do it was the biggest. Mistake I, ever made like I said, he is a racist he's racist racist look what happened in Puerto Rico he said all they wanted just. Oh, three. He was in the FDR administration the force he would've sent the ships back parents back. Yeah. Sorry, mom and dad, you dirty Jews. Just identify as a Jew. You I'm distant. can identify. We did. Now is I'm sorry, it was his great grandparents just to correct to clarify, wasn't his grandparents either way they'd be back on about, okay, you guys, we'll. We'll keep an eye on this ju just a quick note on yesterday's elections were recording the nation, a little early this week, you guys, we had elections on Tuesday, and the results seemed to be like, oh, not everybody wants their version of Alexandria, Kazuyo Cortez in the primary. Did you have any takeaways from the election. Well, there was one in Michigan. The first Palestinian American Muslim woman will be elected to take John Conyers, CNN him in Italy, tantamount to election of 'em's. Great. I just think Democrats have to win. I mean, not it's not one size fits all, and I think it's been overblown. The press like, oh, the insurgent wing LA. It's basically I think it's essentially the same except for presentation. And I like misquote tag, but it's basically what does not much daylight on the issue. Agree. And again, that's what primers are four. But what you're seeing is a real despite the stories that are being pressed, I'd be very wary of anyone that tries to say that they're major rifts in the Democratic Party. I'm pretty sure those aren't coming from within the Democratic Party because it's just all whether or not you use the word, democratic socialism or not. That's kind of it, you know? But again, we're in a two party system and the Democratic Party is doing very well currently. Oh yeah. Well, the big news in a high which is still progressing, they have to run again in November. So this is a conservative district that went to Trump by twelve points. It's basically a tie and they said there are sixty eight other districts where that's less conservative. So they really have a lot to worry about and that district in Ohio. The last time I went for a democrat was in one thousand nine hundred eighty. And before that apparently it was like nineteen thirty eight or something. So it's as solidly red as you can possibly get pretty impressive. Even if they, if even if the Democrats lose in that special election, which will see it's not going to be. By more than one or two point in November arming number for the GOP statistical tie right now, and they have to wait for provisional ballots. But again, you know, I think this is why you see panic on the GOP side because you know, they may, they they, they made their deal and you know they had, they had their their power grab. And this might be the end of the line if the trends continue to crank up their voter suppression. More session if they allow the twenty eighteen midterms to be validated. Like every secretary of state in those red states, they have little placards in their office that say, crank up, voter suppression, walk it every day. It's like, and they look at and they're like, I know what to do. I feel like I feel like the Republicans right now in all these district setting up like these fake towns like in blazing saddles just so people like go and vote at some fake. Fool them November fourteen. All the clocks back. That's awesome. All right. Well, we're gonna keep an eye. Obviously, keep an eye on the midterms. We're going to keep an eye ends Stephen Miller, and there's Viking, the immigrant horrendous immigration plan, and we will keep you posted in the meantime, let me know how much you guys are crying because I had a moment. I had a moment for my friend because I have a lot of green card holders in my life. So fuck I had a moment anyway. Here we go. Let us move on now to topic. Number three. "President Obama net going quietly into young night he is not, gonna retire quietly he is going to stay involved in politics and he plans to campaign, in several states this fall because it can never have enough Obama and he has released his initial round of Eighty-one Democrats for the midterm elections he will release a second round before the election now, this is this is I can imagine. How many deep sighs. Of relief there must have been yesterday, from all of the democratic power centers because, the cry for months has been, Obama Where Art Thou We need you so badly where's where are you and instead he's like broiling out with Joe Biden did you see that the other day it was that he went to a restaurant with Joe Biden Crowing about the bromance, the? Bromance is still? Alive of any president vice-president been this cool ever. And I was like man I got? To buy a new computer just threw up all over it You know who else interestingly is left off this list Bob Menendez Injures -i Bob. Menendez's, left, off this list to member heat, a lot of problems well yeah as. He's not endorsing Bob Menendez which I thought was, interesting as well there's a couple, of people left off this list, but the big one being? Alexandria Kazuyo Cortez left off the list and The socialist darling Why do you think he? Left her off eight hundred eight six, zero, nine, six two five. John and, Alexandria. Good morning John you're on mornings on. The mall high I think, because And in terms of somebody that's, been really win, like I say she has. Not been challenged he's taken. Me softball interviews Remind me Sarah Palin but she about two steps ahead of her and, in terms of, understanding the issues in being. Able to push the agenda He's good at that I don't think that Obama thanks if he can win when it. Comes down to it I think Challenge really gonna be exposed right but I don't know if they even do debates in even know if that's something that she's even going to participate in a debate. And the people who love her love her knowing was, literally nothing about her all. They know is that she's young and she's vibrant and. She jumps, on stage it's can be free stuff for everybody while she's she. I mean you won't need a debate in order to get the typical, thing? You get out, of a debate which is exposition of her blind spots right so in debates do you usually find these things because it's. A tough round of combat and then you kind of, get, into the details you dig. Like two inches beneath the surface near like wow that candidate doesn't. Know anything she's doing that. By on her own because she keeps accepting. Interviews, she, and she does them and then? By virtue of like simple questions oh well how will you pay for that. Then you sort of get this like cluster of. Garbage doesn't exactly explain anything. And the problem here is is is multifold one she's a, bumper sticker socialist? She doesn't. Actually. Know what's underneath that. Is sort of like what's the slogan free healthcare perfect I'm. For it And then she goes for that and then when you dig a little bit she's she's barely done a Google search on the subject. The other side is I think Obama knows is upside, downside one she's gonna win. Why is she helped by Obama she's not really a. Obama would, be helped by it and he doesn't need the political help he's. Done being president twice and to its downside for Obama because it makes, him? Look like he's, picking stone-cold losers to John's point? The more she exposes herself as basically having thoughts and representing her party poorly the more. It's gonna open up the Pri the former president to, criticism, for really what you want. The future of the party to be I think he's running away. From that explosion well see. And I think a lot of this has. To, do, with the internal rift that's happening? There's a split happening in there in the democrat party where you have a. Large burgeoning socialist far left wing emerging from the. Democrat party and then you. Have the traditional old guard Democrats are like wait a minute, wait a minute? We we. Did. Pump the brakes On this this whole socialist full blown socialist we want this this. This free like further left than Bernie Sanders we need to pump the brakes. On that and I think Obama's part of, the old guard part of the Republic of the democrat party I mean that that side the. Democrat socialist side truly represents a country that. We, don't live in it's a completely different country progressing towards it that's what progressives do they're progressing. Towards it I'm which you but but the but the concept is here that that's dangerous I mean if you if you fully engage in. Those ideas if you get beyond the bumper. Stickers and you, fully engaged with. The notions of. Open, borders the end of capitalism Paid for universal healthcare universal basic, incomes once you start shutting down that road that is a fundamentally different country entirely than the, United States of America And the voters, to the extent. That any of. Them have a stomach for we're. Heading off in totally diversion directions and if we. Have nothing in common that way lies civil war that's a complete those are two different countries entirely. So whatever the thing. Is that's giving Obama pause whatever reason he might have, at this moment? To take a pause on on her and her, ideas let's hope. That continues let's hope the Democratic Party, finds it sense and says you know what this is bad for America Yeah, I it doesn't? Look like it's headed match No it doesn't and listen it looks like. That's what the voters want their the the Republic the Democrats want, at least, the far left part of their party their full-on embracing it. And calling for it and voting for these. People so that's part of the problem as well and I don't know how much the the establishment part of the democrat. Party can stop the voters voting for these people they run and they. Vote for it's five twenty two and WMA AL do you have an idea for.

"You know, that's the reason why President Trump stepped in and signed an executive order to say that these families would be reunited that they would have to be not kept separately because of that political pressure. You know, he initially pointed at congress and said, congress is going to have to change the law that he wasn't going to do anything. Well, he got out in front of that and wind up signing this executive order. And we saw congress actually not be able to get its act together and do anything to rectify the. So you know, that's really what the what the problem for Republicans have been, especially these moderate Republicans in these swing districts. Now, the issue that Republicans have have done is that they've, they've taken this and decided to run with it and say that if Democrats want to push some of these more extreme narratives like. Abolish ice because that's what became the thing that people started talking about after the democratic socialist candidate in New York. Alexandra Kazuyo Cortez one that suddenly this abolish ice movement became the thing, and that's something Republicans latched onto and said, this is what Democrats really want to do, and it didn't become about family separations anymore. But when you talk about family separations, that's hugely unpopular, but let me, you know, I wanna flip that Dominica the audience that this drama is being played out for is not in my opinion as much Trump's base, it's Central America because all of these images and you know the emotional anguish story that we heard from Maria. And you know the, the wailing of the children in detention centers that were played in a press conference with with homeland security, secretary, Kirsten, Nielsen, all of these problems they've had with family, separation and reunification. I believe. Going to act as a deterrent, which is what the administration wanted in the first place. I'm John. Kelly told me in an interview in his office. This family's separation is meant as a deterrent. The kids will go to foster care wherever and these are horrific stories and images, and the Spanish language media is going to transmit this all over Central America and people are going to know that these are the consequences. If you bring your kids with you and you cross into the US. So we'll have to see and remember Mike Pence went to Brazil to deliver exactly that message to say, don't bring your children to the United States. Don't make that difficult drive difficult journey, and I really want to emphasize that interview you had with John Kelly. In fact, I think we have some of what Kelly told you and so family separation stands as a pretty tough could be tough to turn would be a tough deterrent, a much faster turnaround on asylum, even though people say that's cruel and heartless to take a mother away from her. Yeah, I think cruel and heartless. I wouldn't put it quite that way. The children will be taken care of to put into foster care, whatever put the big point is they elected to come illegally into the United States, and this is a technique that no one hopes will be used extensively for very long..

Sanders they're going around addressing crowds together talking about Venezuela, gas and how, they want the US to be like Venezuela what do you make Yeah well I mean I it's refreshing because Bernie is refreshing, young people like, him because you he actually says what he.
