Kayleigh McEnany Gets the Last Laugh on Lori Lightfoot

"Lori Lightfoot comic with that she is referred to Kayleigh McEnany as a Karen after Lori Lightfoot's landslide defeat in Chicago where the voters woke up and rejected woke and rejected the crazed far left radical anti police ideology of Lori Lightfoot, Kayleigh McEnany had an opportunity to do a little gloating last night. I stood at the podium in The White House and I called out Chicago's crime because in the Trump White House, we cared about the victims of crime. She responded and called me a Karen. So she had enough time to call out The White House press secretary as a Karen rather than focusing on crime in her city. So I loved your dance moves. That was fun to watch on TikTok, although they really weren't. They weren't good. But sorry, Karen, here you lost. Ouch. Ouch is right. Hey, Karen, lightfoot you lost. And it turns out that critics, of course, are her critics are breathing a sigh of relief,

"He wanted to let me just think I'm trying to think of which aspect. He was saying, well, first of all, the thing that is the change now is that he said that he knew, well, he says that Kayleigh told him that she was being stalked. You must have heard that. He said it a lot of times. And now all of a sudden, the lawyer for the family for Kayleigh's family has been saying that no she wasn't stalked and there's no connection. Now, not only do you tell her father that she was being stalked. But there was a man who was a manager of a vape store in the town. And he said that her friends, a friend or friend of Kayleigh's, told him that she was being stalked and that they used to walk behind her to protect her from her stalker. Now, add to that, the fact that when they did arrest Brian coburger, Kaylee's father had this reaction, a very strong reaction, it was kind of like a combination of a deer in headlights and an a ha reaction. And he said, oh, now I see the link. Words to that effect. There is a connection. Now I see it. I'm not ready to talk about it now, but I see the connection. And then since then, the lawyer for the family, again, is saying, no, there's no connection. We don't have any connection. Well, you know, it's just not believable. Now, since then, just recently, just the other night, a reporter for court TV found at least one connection, which has very interesting timing. Kayleigh went to a bar called the kug. At the in Washington, near the state University of Washington. You know, in other words, where, I mean, the two towns were so close together and the students used to go from one town to the other. They were only about ten minutes away. And she had been in this coup bar in June, and she signed her name on a wall where students signed their name. And she put her date of birth and so on, we know it's her. And so it is likely that Brian had been in that bar, perhaps when she was. Because the interesting thing is that it he started pinging his phone started pinging in June, the same time that she was in

Lord Conrad Black and Sebastian Discuss Former Press Sec. Jen Psaki

"You mentioned, I played you a cut from the current White House, press secretary. She was very, very angry today as Fauci gave his last speech from the podium before he retires. You said, who do you prefer more Jen Psaki or the current incumbent? Well, Jen Psaki was more competent. I mean, this was competent, frankly. But I find her rather an amiable personality where I found Jen Psaki really rather obnoxious. Well, let's talk about Kayleigh McEnany, which is the champion. I thought I thought she was great. Let's talk about the predecessor. Let's talk about Jen Psaki because she's in the news. This is from Fox News dot com. Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that there wasn't a lot Democrats could have done to change the inflation reality. A federal judge ruled Monday that the former White House press secretary must comply with the subpoena and offer a deposition in a lawsuit that claims the Biden administration colluded with big tech to sense a speech. Now, her response and I must read it to you. This is directly from Jen Psaki to the judge, lord black. Sitting for a deposition would be extremely burdensome for me. I understand that I would need to devote several days to preparing for the deposition, as well as attending the deposition itself. And that would be highly disruptive to both my work and my family. My response on social media or black is, well, that's a great excuse that president Trump can use now that there's a special counsel coming off to him. Your response. That's just nonsense. But self indulgence self serving pompous statements. I mean, she knew when she was took that job on that there was going to be a good deal of controversy because her party. And so addicted to stirring up spurious litigation against its opponents, she might reasonably assume that some of it would come back at them. And as press secretary, she might have to testify and give evidence. And the president current president did her the honor of conferring that important position on her. And she had to know that something like that went with the therapy. So what did she talking about? I

Kayleigh McEnany Makes Curious Comments About President Trump

"McEnany, what is she doing? Didn't she work for president Trump? I do think she did on Fox today. She said something unfortunate about president Trump and about Georgia, play cut. No, no, no, no, no. 2022 is not over. Three point. Every Republican energy needs to go to grinding the Biden agenda to a halt. And that could go straight through the state of Georgia. And is that include Trump? I think he needs to put on pause. Absolutely. Look, he'll make that decision. We'll make his own decision, but does he go to crime advising any contender? Desantis, Trump, whomever, no one announces 2024 until we get through December 6th. Do you see the former president? A need for him to go to Georgia? I think we've got to make strategic calculations. Governor desantis, I think he should be welcome to the state given what happened last night. You've got to look at the realities on the ground and Herschel Walker. We've got to win the Senate. That's it, guys. So we got to win the Senate, but the man who got 70 more 74 million votes shouldn't go to Georgia. What's the logic there Caylee? I'm curious, I might have to text you for you to explain that to me.

"Leavitt, welcome to the program. Thank you so much, Charlie, for having me and congratulations to you. This is my first time seeing you since you became a father, very happy. Yes, I was going to go stump for you up in New Hampshire, but some things matter more than that. But we are going to help any way we can. Caroline, some of our audience is aware of you, especially in the last week, you went on Tucker, you've been on Bannon. Tell us about your race and talk about how it's become a proxy war for the conservative movement at large. Yeah, well, thank you so much. This is my home seat, New Hampshire's first, grew up here, born and raised. Business family went to school here, went to college here, and had the blessing of serving the best president in American history, president Trump and his White House. I was in his press office with Kayleigh McEnany, went to D.C., having only been there once before my life to help drain the swamp. And unfortunately, Joe Biden made his way into The White House. We all know why that happened. The Democrat regime took over. And did everything they could to get Trump out. So I lost my job, came back home last summer with a will to want to fight for the people of New Hampshire. And that's what I've done over the last year. You know, last summer, when I got into this campaign, nobody knew who I was. I had zero bucks in my campaign account. But I've been pounding the pavement, meeting as many voters as I possibly can. Now today we're 12 hours, 24 hours away from polls opening on primary day. We're in a dead heat tie with the establishments handpick. My opponent Matt mauer, who is a hand pick of the establishment, he's a puppet for the GOP in the shells down in D.C., the swamp. If you will, he's a longtime operative for Chris Christie, and he moved to my home state of New Hampshire to literally run for office.

"It could be a blunt instrument though on a global level especially if other central banks go along with the fed But Stephen Byrd CEO of Aberdeen says Europe might take things at its own pace Aberdeen of course is one of the biggest asset managers in the world Yeah it manages somewhere close to $700 billion And burn also talking about hard assets outside stocks and the importance investing in those So here he is with Bloomberg guy Johnson and Kayleigh lynes Well I think the most important thing is to keep perspective on what's happened We've very quickly lost that we had the largest recession since the Second World War during COVID then unprecedented stimulus in some cases some over stimulus now we're seeing central banks being behind that curve to try and tamp down the inflation which is running ahead It was very interesting right now is that the situation is different whether you're living in the states or living in Europe or indeed the UK And it's very different if you're in China So as a global investor what we are always looking to do is to interpret the differences between the circumstances of these decisions being made The U.S. there is this tendency in the world the U.S. has got the lead on this whole situation against inflation And the fed's going to go hard I mean we've seen the fastest Well we've already said we've got two months from the ending end in QE where you're doing QUT And we are going to see at least 50 basis points increase in me And then another 50 after that Our essential scenario is that that's what's going to happen followed by 25 bps with a pause We think the fed is going to take it to one percentage point above neutral because it's going to have to feel tighter Otherwise it's not going to work Now the risk is that you get fed emulation and areas where it's not the same situation It's not the same problem Europe's not the same problem because the closer you are to the conflict and the more dependent you are upon energy coming from Russia you are going to have less impact but increasing rates on the price of energy So you have to interpret that differently Thankfully those with Christine Lagarde is clearly doing Well just on the point of central banks and this is obviously Kaley and New York's even great to talk to you How do you view the balance of inflationary pressures versus growth pressures And when we get to the point where inflation is demand destruction therefore it actually is also a growth problem Just how are you viewing those two dynamics Well I think I would if the other central banks the Bank of England the ECB if they actually interpret their context rather than emulate the fed then we've got more chance of the cycle I we're seeing a material slowdown in global growth but we've got less chance of the sake of being killed by an overreaction because we do believe you're going to have to see that discrimination between rates interestingly in the currency markets we're already seeing quite a bit of FX volatility showing up And that's because I think the market's beginning to recognize there's going to be a differential rate response to what is now being interpreted as differential inflation pressures We actually think that's a good thing because they are applying the rate policy response within the context of your own regional country You're more likely to be able to get a soft landing to this This is clearly a very difficult needle to thread You could almost couldn't make up Coming out of a global pandemic very fast on the heels of what was a pandemic then stimulus then he contracted And as a consequence that's why there's a lot of anxiety and a lot of stress This is a precarious global situation and it's going to acquire incredibly careful navigation How do you invest in this environment though There's a lot of things that are uncertain Uncertainty by definition is very difficult to quantify Risk you can quantify uncertainty you carve How are you guys manage it How are you personally kind of thinking about all of these risks and uncertainties and how you're going to invest through them for the long term Well it's precisely that guy we're looking for what is going to happen in the long term and what is the right home for your capital to get to that long term So equities have traded off fixed income has traded off No we're seeing that's the natural response to ever be anticipating a much higher risk for your rate Bonds are beginning to look attractive Two years ago the ten year was 50 bps Now it's approaching 3% as you anticipate that sort of increases in yields you can see that the no looks like they're investable again There are diversification options input for those We invest in a quality basis strong balance sheet strong cash flows defensible business models that can see through these events No interestingly China is last year at regular tree reform plus lockdowns We're seeing extended lockdowns in China now But I think we also have to look past that Do we believe that COVID is going to be here forever Well here we are in the UK we're back in the studio The western western world has been able to vaccinate and manage and get back into an operating environment COVID is not going to be in China forever So you've got to see past that to those business models and those mega trends that are still going to prevail in 21st century beyond Corbett beyond the energy crisis and beyond the current conflict in Ukraine A public market is the place to do that or a private market for place to do that Absolutely have to be investing significantly in private markets and we are doing that We're one of the largest real estate investors in Europe We're also an investor in Amazon warehouses both here in the UK and in Europe with tri tax We're investing in and seeking to always find what is the 21st 21st century trend that will thrive And then put long term capital there Electrification is clearly one of those that we're very actively involved in We're very actively investing in the net zero economy And we're at Citi And that's one of the huge themes And how do you envisage and invest in what will be a net.

"Read. That's beautiful. Absolutely. And so in closing, what is something how old's baby Blake now? So she just turned two. It's crazy how fast it is. So what do you think you would tell her in this book or in your life when she's in high school and just living her life and you reflect back on this time and you reflect back the moments that are within these pages? What would you tell her? You know, I think I saw Charlie actually giving a speech and I am paraphrasing because I don't remember exactly what he said. But I thought it was such an important message he was talking to a room of young people and he talked about self worth and value and people who are battling with suicidal thoughts or whatever problems that are plaguing young people and there are a lot. If you see this, the social complex is people are having from social media and it's a really hard environment. And I worry about my daughter. You know, I'll raise her with the right values, but there's something going on with young people. There's a tremendous amount of depression, drug use, and there's just, I think, we're at a cultural tipping point where they're trying to insert really insidious ideologies into the classroom. And it's a much harder path, I think, for young person today than even it was for me. So I think the message of that Charlie gave about self worth and God having a plan for you in a purpose. I think it is so important to ingrain that into our young people. I certainly will ingrain it into my daughter because whatever demons she'll have to battle growing up depression, whatever it may be, God forbid, if she knows there's something so much bigger and there's someone to turn to. Get on your knees and pray, no matter how you're feeling and God can make a bad situation better. I think that is the one message I want her to have going through life. Similar to the one that Charlie gave to a group of young people and it's so important today more than ever. You're sweet. Well, I'm so proud of you for such a time as this, my faith journey through The White House and beyond everyone like I said needs a copy. And so you are amazing. "I am here with the most amazing woman. You're a phenomenal role model to so many girls. You are a woman of God, you're a mother, you're an author. You're incredible. You I, if anyone can't see this, I'm like Kayleigh McEnany. The one and only. But you were our strong voice. In The White House, for the longest time, when there was chaos everywhere, we just every time you stepped up to that podium, we knew that you were going to give us the facts. And yeah, it was important. There are actually t-shirts that say facts on it, which I'm very often. Thank you for that. And thank you for the kind words, and I feel the same about you. A strong woman of faith and you and Charlie are just what a powerhouse couple. So it's an honor every time I get to come to turning point USA. We've crossed paths so many times from young women's leadership summit. And he did phenomenal there too. The girls were just on the edge of their seat, just listening to every word in soaking it in. And being a role model and having the weight on your shoulders, every time you walked up to that podium, what was going through your I know you talk about this in your book, but what would go through your head before you stepped out there and walked into that podium where you just saying prayers were you saying a Bible verse? What were you? What was going through your head? Yeah, it's a great question. I certainly, though I projected confidence at the podium, oftentimes the steps up to the podium were not so confident. They were filled with nerves and apprehension. Certainly the first time I did it, I was in tears in my office and I'm supposed to be at the podium. It's my very first briefing in my assistant comes in. You can't be crying right now and puts my parents on speaker phone. And we said a prayer together and then I went to the private west wing bathroom and got on my knees instead of prayer and then I went to the podium and people like Mike Pence were so wonderful motion towards me with praying hands and said, you know, I've been praying for you and I love the first. You tweeted out, flippy and four 13. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So while I was very nervous, there were great Christian men and women around the country praying. One was Sarah Sanders, my predecessor, who told me before each of her briefings, she read a Jesus calling devotional. I happen to have the same devotional and I would read it, and she sent me the day of my first briefing, her devotional from exactly two years prior, which said, you know, essentially you're on the path of my choosing, don't worry, but I couldn't help the human side of me from worrying. Totally. But when I stood at the podium, I felt total serenity that first time I was standing somewhere I had stood a thousand times. It was somewhere I was meant to be. And so the calm that I projected was not anything that I achieved. Yes, we put in the hard work and the facts and the research, but it was something so much bigger than me and it was because of all of the people across the country who prayed for the Trump administration. I hear it all the time. And we certainly felt those prayers. Yeah, and it was divine. Yes. And I feel like your career path in general has been divine. I feel like God has really guided your steps throughout everything. And for me, I hear a lot of young men and women when I was living in New York City, especially saying they wanted their dream would be to be on Fox or their dream would be to be on the news. And as you know, this industry, the news industry can be ruthless. Hollywood industry in general can be ruthless. But when you were going through this career path and you before you got to Fox and before you got to be where you are today, how would you handle rejection when you were going through the motions of I'm almost there? I'm almost there. Yeah, it's important, you know, I had a million shut doors in my face. You're right. These industries can be brutal, the swamp is no exception. If you think media is intense, just mosey on over to the swamp and see what politics is like. It's honestly eye opening. You know, I would watch that there's some film I'm blinking on it right now. The one with Kevin Spacey in it. Oh gosh. Do you remember? It said series. I'm like, how's it going? Oh, House of Cards. Yes. While no one has so savage, right? Well, no one's pushed in a metro and they go far in that show. I will say. It is pretty brutal. It's competitive. People, you know, I'm someone who, with the press, I would never leak for personal purposes or for any purposes. I wasn't a leaker. You provide information on background to help support the president and the administration that separate from leaking maliciously and unauthorized fashion, but that happens all the time. So from that to shut doors along the pathway, you have to be confident and know that God's leading the way and it's not always easy. Look, I had shut doors and my mom and I would sit at our counter at home and in Florida and we'd sit there and just have many nights up until one 2 a.m. just saying, okay, this door shut, how can I have another one open and ultimately when I look back in life over this maybe ten year pass from 12 year path from leaving college and going out to Fox where I started and then into politics, I now look back having been press secretary, oh wait, these doors were shut for a reason. You know, if that door would have opened, and I would have furthered my career at CNN, where I was for a year and a half. That door would have opened. I wouldn't have gone to Washington to the RNC and then to the campaign and then to The White House at the podium. So every shut door looking back in life had a reason and a purpose. And I didn't know that then. It's immensely frustrating when you're in the middle of it. Yes. But just trust that God's leading your path. And I think that's the biggest piece of advice I can give if a door shuts there is a reason. And especially just remember not just me, but anyone listening. You know, you are made for such a time as this as there are four 14. That's meant for all of us to hear. And you just trust and work hard. Amen. I totally agree. And what you've been in many situations where you've had to problem solve. And not many people can think on their feet and problem solve the way that you did. Whether that's at the podium with the binder, I loved that, by the way, because when school supply season was out, I got the binder, the pens, the notebooks, everything. So when I saw that I was like, we would have been friends in middle school. Yes. But no, but when it comes to problem solving, I feel like you made it look so easy. I can't even imagine how many problems came to you daily. And what would be your go to for problem solving? Would you write out the different solutions, the pros and cons? Like, what would be a way for you to problem solve? So I had two very smart trusted aids. Chad Gil Martin and Julia Hahn and the three of us were just obsessed with the political process obsessed with The White House and the different problems that would emerge getting PPE or supplies or testing for COVID-19. We were all just obsessed with our jobs. And so we would sit there by the fireplace in my office and just strategize for hours and hours. And if I didn't think of one question, the press would ask, they would fill the gap and together, the three of us really managed to figure out how to accurately convey information to the American people. And it took number one, researching the facts and the data, which some of that you could aggregate from public sources or news reports. But what's neat about being in The White House is you don't have to just rely on that. As a commentator now or host of outnumbered, I go and my sources are news articles and I discern what's the best information to move forward. But when you're in The White House, you are the primary source, which is really cool. You know, I think back about the relationships I made be with Alex azar the head of HHS or brejo, who was in charge of really the supply chain, there was a big part of it. These were guys, I would call every day and say, tell me the latest. You know, what have you sent out? And it was extremely neat to have access to the world's brightest minds, top leaders, be it at HHS or at DHS with Chad wolf and they'd give you inside information and what's going on in their agency and you could bring that information to the American people. And it's really cool to be press secretary because you're just not reading articles. You're talking to the people making decisions about the nation's biggest problems. Yeah, so I enjoyed it. It was a job that I loved and I think people always say was it stressful? Certainly, but the key was we had fun doing the job. And I think that's what made.

Kayleigh McEnany Talks About Faith and Trump White House in New Book

"This is a very unique book you've written here It's unique in the sense it's how you weave faith in your belief system into your career and your challenges and so forth It's hard to organize a book like that How did you do that You know I knew that there were stories from The White House I wanted to put in there and along that as I'm writing these stories I'm rethinking and reliving those moments and that's when I'm realizing the seminal principle and organizing worldview of my life which is I'm a Christian I'm also a conservative Those values animated those tough times in life Like when I was supposed to be at the podium the first day I knew I was going to be up against all the piranhas and hyenas and I was nervous and you know I was actually in my office crying rather than going to the podium because I was that nervous But it's in those moments that my family got on speakerphone We pray together I got on my knees in the bathroom in the west wing set of prayer and the serenity that I felt standing at that podium It wasn't anything I did Yeah I put in the work But it was my faith that got me through that And so as I'm writing these stories it kind of just organically weave its way into the story because that's who I am and at the core of my life The book is for such a time as this my fate journey through The White House and beyond it's fantastic

"The main point of the book is my face and then some of the hardest times in life got it showed up Christ has shown up and helped me through them And some of those hard times were in The White House And I go through my time in The White House But I also the second part of the book is holding the media accountable and sharing what I know president Trump to be he's the man where when I'm in a meeting in the cabinet room of course that beautiful room with the long mahogany table and Bill Barr's there and Kellyanne and they're saying to the president hey the ObamaCare lawsuit may not be advisable right now during COVID-19 as we're approaching an election He looks at me and says what do you think Kaley And I said you know that makes a lot of sense to me and he looks me in the eye and that Caylee I will always stand with the base I will always stand with the promises I made to the American people And that in a nutshell is why president Trump was so successful His authenticity and his fidelity to his word And that's just one of the many anecdotes I have in there The person I know president Trump to be not the person who is attacked in all of these trash tell all

Do you think people out there could join you on the marathon? Yeah. Just start getting ready and running and getting yeah. So anyone in the Austin community that is listening to this can run along with you during training is that what you're saying, sandy? Or even come from out of Boston? You might have a few people coming from out of Austin. I just want to tell you. I never tell you that I am working with Patagonia. You were until the pandemic. But what about if we end up at one of the cities where anybody's listening comes and we're going to have marathon, could they join us then? Okay. We're. Always coming down. Inspire with them. Okay. Yeah. You definitely are inspiring. Okay. All right. Listen to anything you want to add. Anything you want to say? No, just that our whole goal is to bring awareness within the community and outside of it, how important it is. And I laugh because in the last two three, four years with mom and the Alzheimer's, I've seen wait for me, come back and first, it was like, oh my gosh, I gained weight back. And I can't do this anymore. Then I realized I've done 13 more half marathons with don't let anything stop you that that mental block that you've got in your head and you think, oh, I've got to lose weight first or I have to do this for now. Just get up there and move. That's it. Great. I love that. Actually, Sunday my so I've been running since I was 16, 18 years now. My mom just started running in the pandemic. Now, some people will learn to mad at the pandemic. You still wear one, right? Yeah, me too. Because of how the effects. The effect on individuals with down syndrome is much worse than it is on some of us, not all of us with some of this. Okay. I'm sorry. We'll see if she has any more questions. Can we? You've gotten really comfortable with this. Come on like this, and I love it. You've owned it. I know, well, I mean, I don't have any other questions other than unless you want to tell me anything. You want to tell us? I look forward to seeing you along the way. Somehow, my boss asked me that they are about me. You've got this one track memory that it's like, it doesn't matter. I will tell you that we could do New York with kiss. Now no, I'm doing my full meltdown after that. So New York would be the half. Well, I did it for okay then. I've done. We'll talk about it. Well, we both talk about that. Okay, I want to wrap up the interview here. And thank you both so much for coming on to talk to me today. I appreciate you and all that you're doing. Kaley, you are so inspiring as everyone agrees. Keep up the good work, both of you and sandy look after yourself too. Thank you. Before we end this episode, I just want to take a moment to shout out my podcast editor, Jeremy Nestlé, who has done such a wonderful job of looking after my podcast taking out all the mishaps in the episodes. While still keeping in the vulnerability in the realness and the rawness of the conversation, this is not one of those podcasts where I take out the arms and the ears and the sometimes the delay in words because I think it's very important to keep that authenticity with surrounded by affected and manicured, everything. And I think it's really important that running for real stays that way. So thank you to Jeremy for your work, also one of thank Maria Vargas and amber Moore who are also part of my team. They've been a big part of this community and me being able to build this brand. So I just want to give them a shout out to, all right, let's get right back to the end of this episode. I wasn't that such a good FSA to just be a part of to feel the love between cayley and sandy. It was very special and I'm honored to have hosted that conversation and I can't wait to go for a run with Kaylee sometime and sandy. Sometime in the future. And I hope that if you find yourself in a place where they are or you find yourself down in Austin, let them up, reach out, I would love to see some pictures of that. "Her at the same time, let me finish. At the same time, I'd taken her to a doctor. And again, at 215 pounds, he looked at her and he told me it's not going to end well for her. And most of them at about her age. Sorry, start developing autoimmune disorders. And Kaley did develop something called ITP, shed low blood platelets, and we didn't know why. And then she developed graves disease, for she had hypo and then it became hyperthyroidism. And I had already ran my first half marathon in 2013. So she's done 13 halves. I beat you. I've done 24. I've done 24, and I've done one marathon. And she I mean, someone made a suggestion and she was like, yeah, I want to do it. And it just kind of took off because the community is so important. They're in reactions with her. It's so important. What I was expecting to experience, we didn't experience. We expect I expect it some type of rejection. And the running community, we got total acceptance. And 80 pounds came off of her body. And every one of her autoimmune disorders went into remission. And today I see how healthy she is. And I have a lot of parents with family members who have down syndrome. Tell me the same thing I thought in the beginning. It's like no way my child has ever going to do this. You know that's kinda I can hear that, right? There's no way my child would ever do this. And what I realized is I was more saying, it's not that much I'll necessarily can't do it. It's just that it's going to take a lot of time out of my schedule and I don't know. And so I had to step back and say, what's more important? Me doing this and Kaylee and I do this together and hard getting this healthy as she's gotten or the convenience of me of not having to fight. And thank you for explaining that. Yeah. Now Kaylee you've probably heard that story been told endless times. So I apologize having to sit through it again. Especially as it's your life. But you participated in the special Olympics in the past and still? Okay, I will tell you that. I have so many of. Libya's medals is that what you mean? I had so many. I don't dreaming basketball. I can feel okay. And so you did those and then running came into your life or maybe you still participate in the special Olympics. But what is it about running that you like the most? I like learning because. I really want to go for it. I really want to bathe my journey. Her mom, she likes to beat me. That's the biggest thing you get, you love that. Yeah. Whatever. It's my life. Your mission and lotion of life to beat me. Okay. So do you have a special tactic plan for how you're going to how are you going to beat her?.

So the media's ignored afghanistan for years and elite washington has lied to us about it as documented by the washington post blockbuster reporting what we're known as the afghanistan papers in which government officials secretly admitted. We clearly failed in afghanistan and we didn't know what we were doing in the. Us occupation of afghanistan began twenty years ago and from basically that entire period. Our government is shielded us from the reality. What was happening. George w bush. Donald rumsfeld even went so far as to make grandiose predictions about how the war would be viewed by history despite. We're not going to repeat that mistake. What has taken place in the last. Kayleigh McEnany Enjoyed Working for a Patriot Like President Trump

"I mean, It's unbelievable how stupid that man is. And how, um In my view, unpatriotic he is And one thing you could say about Donald Trump's. He loves this country and he loves the people of this country. Don't believe you can say the same about Biden was right up until now talking about how racist America is, and so we're just buying into that hole. American Marxist agenda and and tearing down the country. Yeah, exactly. And I used to work for a president who hugged the American flag. And I love that image of him Just Complete love, compassion for this country and those who within it, and then Biden, you know? Wow, What a misnomer for forever. He misled us as if he was, you know, Mr Compassionate. That's what he was known for being empathetic, and now you have him doing an interview. Afghan pain from planes human remains found in a wheel and he said that was four or five days ago and says no one's being killed when in fact They are. He's not compassionate. He doesn't love this country. I completely agree with you and Wow, we're only eight months in. We got three years plus to deal with and man I'm sad to see what happens.

Kayleigh McEnany Criticizes Jen Psaki for Feeding Joe Biden's Lies

"According to Politico, a white House to media. We want our props on Afghanistan because Caylee This is a fantastic surrender. It's just done. But we've never seen anything like this. Hundreds of thousands of people begging to get out people being trampled on the Taliban killing, maiming. American citizen. The numbers go from 15,000 down to 1500. You need to come. This is absolutely fantastic because the media says that the biggest airlift in American history Excuse me. The other airlift they're talking about was in order to help people who were being surrounded by the Communists in Berlin. This is this is a surrender. It's the worst surrender in American history. Now they're they're upset. They're not getting props from the media. What do you think? Right. And Jim sake says that this is a success. How do you call this a success? Because she's not there stranded. She were, there would be a success. You're exactly right. It wouldn't be a success if she was there. Not only that, she says. No Americans are strand in Afghanistan. Obviously they were now, she says. We will probably leave behind stranded Americans. That's absolutely the case. But you made it out of the park mark they want they want adulation. They want parade. That's what they're used to. You know, we have the press shop When I was in the White House. We didn't have the media covering for us. We knew that every time I walk to that podium, it would be a bloodbath of reporters shouting at me both as I entered as I exited as I was standing at the podium, but you know she she gets to walk in Scot free. So this Joe Biden. They're used to the press covering But in this one instance they don't have a covering press and they can't handle it. Which is why they're flailing in the wind.

Los Angeles Hopes New Mask Mandate Will Reverse Virus Spike

"We come on the air this morning. Residents of the nation's most populous county are waking up to a new. But all too familiar reality and indoor mask mandate despite all the progress we've made it's a reminder that our national fight against covert is far from over as the highly contagious delta variants sweeps. The country cases are rising nearly all fifty states. The country's daily case average has now searched by more than sixty percent in the last week to more than twenty seven thousand cases. That's a whopping one hundred forty. Three percent increase over the past. Four weeks fueling the surge unvaccinated americans who make more than ninety seven percent of hospitalized covert patients the administration now targeting misinformation to overcome vaccine hesitancy. But can they actually change any minds and could we see more major cities across america. Reinstitute their mask recommendations. Dr vivek murthy is standing by with more. But we begin with kaley hearten in la county inside the providence saint joseph medical center. Good morning to you kayleigh. Good morning martha just a few weeks ago. This hospital system in southern california was treating just thirty. kobe patients. That number has jumped two hundred and thirty and almost all of them or unvaccinated. This is an all hands on deck moment. As one local officials said as the situation continues to get worse in california for the past week in los angeles county more than one thousand new cases were reported every day and that number was closer to two thousand on friday and saturday for perspective a month ago. The county was averaging two hundred new cases every day. We've been on something of a roller coaster here with the numbers in check a month ago. La county lifted virtually all restrictions with capacity limits and social distancing bars and restaurants. They have been packed with massless people but now a sharp reversal bringing back. The mask mandate for inside public places. Regardless of your vaccination status and ten counties in california are also following suit with their own guidance.

"President Biden has been using a different strategy to get his point across at certain moments he whispers trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany calls it peculiar and crazy I think it's time to give ordinary people a tax break it does look a little bit like and Saturday Night Live skit Vanessa Beasley is an associate professor of communications at Vanderbilt University you can see how frustrated he is or give the appearance of being frustrated right so that breaks the fourth wall if you will the presidency to see what our president really thinks president Biden moves in toward the microphone talks about issues like financial help for families one point two million dollars released so far please leave says usually raising the volume gets the message across it sort of sets everybody back a little bit when you see someone going in a different direction and reducing their body on his talk show Stephen Cole bear said the Biden whispers are a little creepy at Donahue Washington

"kayleigh" Discussed on The Charlie Kirk Show

"Hey everybody welcome to this. Very special episode of the charlie kirk show with us. Today is a friend of mine that i've known for quite a while. Yes from varney. And company days on fox business network. That's suraya kelly mcenany kaley. Welcome to the charlie cruickshank. You good to be here thank you. I think you have spoken every single young women's leadership summit. Yes i have. And i've loved every moment i mean i was a young girl who loved politics. I was a bit peculiar. I was a second grader. Like doing cheers for bob dole in the playground. So you know as a bit of an oddity at second grade. And i never knew there other women like me who love politics and wasn't so much of an oddity but i was just a young woman who's motivated by politics and to see these young women who remind me of myself. It's just really cool. I wish i would have had this outlet back when i was young. Well you're probably the most demanded speaker and so it. It is going to be packed and packed packed. And we put you at the last day for reasons and no one would leave early. But so let's walk. There's a lot of things i want to explore with you. I just tell our audience your story because it's pretty amazing from from getting into politics and then becoming press secretary for the white house and not just press secretary during normal boring though. You're press secretary during lockdowns virus fao cheesy race issue during every press secretary during probably the one of the most people would say chaotic. In american history i think is certainly the most chaotic period in american history. There's no doubt. I mean i'll never forget getting the job all locked down. I was actually locked out in florida. Not so bad to be locked down at the beach. I will say that But we were crossing a bridge. And i remember getting a call. And you've gotten a call from the white house. I'm sure it's like an odd set of numbers. I answered and so this is president trump and normally he would call me and just say oh good job in a media interview. I was with his campaign at the time but instead he said. Do you wanna be my press secretary and it came out of nowhere and i said well of course i do and he said mark get it done and presumably that was mark meadows. Who had just taken the job and it took a few weeks but ended up getting the job and it was just absolutely incredible to think about taking the podium during covid nineteen americans didn't know what this virus was like There's a lot of misinformation out there. By saint anthony fouled she and others And it was. It was a pretty cool experience. I had to lean on god quite a bit. Because i couldn't have done it myself. So what date did you take over the press secretary position. That's a good question. i know it was. I think it was april. Thirteen claimed leave. Yes right in the middle of all right in the middle. Yes a few days before my birthday and i went in and they were doing these cova task force briefings. You probably remember them. The president flanked by foulsham burke and others. And i came into that i didn't know if i would ever give a briefing and had been four hundred days. There had ever been a briefing from a press secretary and then one day he just looked at me and said kelly start briefing and i thought i would. Have you know week or so to prepare. He said do it before. Friday and this was on thursday so i had about a twenty four hour period but we've got a den so the normal succession to become press secretary. Is you work in the white house. Press shop as deputy press second. This is not not that. There's anything normal. Whatever is just that and then you kind of see how these briefings work but you came from the campaign. If i remember correctly which was not necessarily low profile. Lots of tv expert experience and all that. And then you get put right into this. President trump says briscoe. Do it now for someone who allegedly hates women. The kind that really bizarre like go represent our entire government police on the right on the biggest stage imaginable. And you handled yourself as such grace and you start. You came up with this amazing thing. The binders tell us about the binders in the tabs of all the research while thank you and you know yes certainly. That is the case that you're normally deputy press secretary and you kind of get some institutional knowledge. The knowledge i had was when i was an intern during the bush era And you know that that wasn't really deep institutional knowledge. There's a learning curve. And i knew that coming into the job but you know i knew. I had the preparation. I had gone to oxford for a year with a tutorial system. Where you read your paper out loud and then the tutor grills use you always have to have footnotes. You always have to have facts and be on your toes. And then of course i went to cnn. Where i was Eight online -servative one conservative long panels pan out somewhere over there or conservative. Exactly and the pummeling you get on those panels prepares you for the white house. Press briefing room. I think more than any time being a deputy press secretary could so you always have your facts. And that's how the binder developed you know. I got the first draft that my team gave me. And i said guys where the footnotes where the stats and my team was great and they quickly rose to the occasion. But you know. I just demanded the same kind of Statistics and you know work that i that i did at oxford in at cnn. And i had a great team around me. There was four hundred days without oppress. Kind of briefing. Is that right. Yes they had the coronavirus task force briefings but it had been four hundred days since not my predecessor. Stephanie grisham but my predecessor. Before that sarah sanders so we had been through another press secretary. Not how to briefing on. And i took the podium for the first time after four hundred days. After you had ravenous wolves are members of the press like finally then. They met their match. And it's it's so how does it. This is not a question. I ask often but brock obama gets asked this question. How does it make you feel when you see how easy the current press secretary. Has it incredible. Look i mean. I just was yesterday or a few days ago. I was looking through some of the questions from my press. Briefings and i just wanted to compare the two side by side a straight objective comparison and the questions. I found that were posted biden administration. Were house the white house cat. How did the dog. it was biden's dog involved in a biting accident is is he okay He was asked. how does it or jen. Psaki rather was asked. How does it feel for biden to sit in the oval office. And then i was asked. Is the president happy. The south lost the civil war. That was literally one of the questions. I was asked inch. You know it was. It was actually ryan lisera. That's right on par. You guys right on par. I would just love to have seen.

"Boy so he's just trying to get the the best vaccine and he's falling flat. It's just a it's a joke. I don't know how people like this can lack so much. Commonsense folks. I i really don't understand it. Will he get elected next time. I hope in the length of history that he doesn't get reelected but here's another story folks. This is kayleigh mcenany. Remember her remember. Kelly there she is yes always smiling and she's always got that sycophants smile you know that I don't. I don't want to get started on this. But she's the former press secretary and she surprised that biden hasn't held a solo press conference so far so this is what she saying about it. Let me get some comment here. On the president's failure so far big filed a formal news conference is going to have to hold a news conference at some point. Isn't he absolutely. The pressure is mounting. Even left-wing outlets calling him out for this but i would say it's what lift who's calling for it. I don't care if he holds a press conference or not my god. They've got jennifer sacchi every day. Isn't it that she goes out and hold a press conference. What extraordinary that he hasn't taken questioned. Certainly one hundred year record for not taking actions in a solo press conference from a sitting president president but this is not unprecedented. Because as you'll recall stewart the basement strategy is what he employed on the campaign trail. He went something like fifty days and he only took questions twice and when he did they were handpicked questions. Oh come on. His staff does not have faith that he can. You know first of all. I should have said this about kelly. I mean she spreads lies like mayonnaise at edit church picnic. You know i mean she just she just lays it on and was doing that throughout the whole trump administration and at the podium and have a press conference the way president trump did many times that protecting him. It seems to me. They are protecting the president from himself. Want to see him stumble over words. Get confused lose his train of thought as he may. Well do if it was sub. You know this is. This is playing into that whole thing where they say that he's not in control. He doesn't know what he's doing and folks that was just what a month ago where we had. Steve bannon came out and said you know what i think. Donald trump has got dementia. One or toot stuart varney. Why don't you go. Talk to steve bannon and ask him why he thought that donald trump had early stages of dementia. This is a guy that was with them all the time. Right steve bannon. He's got no reason to say anything malevolent about donald trump. i mean donald trump pardoned him. Right i mean these. Are the facts stewart jet to the rough and tumble of a real press. Conference that protecting him. I think i think that's exactly right. I think you've got to nail on the head when you mentioned his staff because as you saw president biden say right there he said. I'm happy to take questions if that's what i'm supposed to do. I've seen him joust back and forth in one interaction with peter and he seemed to relish the moment a little. So i don't think this is president biden. Saying i don't wanna do this. I think it's those around him recognizing when he does speak. It doesn't always turn out so well. Like calling republicans on the donald trump doesn't turn out so well right. I mean that's that's why donald trump is sleeping lago. Tonight in joe biden is sleeping in the white house folks. Thanks for listening and until next time..
