"I want to talk about Kaylee mac in any of the White House press secretary who I think has done an outstanding job in the roles and the reason I think that is because she does the work she comes loaded for bear she's definitely got you know in terms of what the importance of the job he is to convey a message communicated effectively so that you can reach your intended audience which is not the American press corps despite what you may hear elsewhere it is not the American press corps she's trying to speak to it is the American people she's trying to speak to so I imagine that that seems obvious on his face remeasurement of my C. this exchange over the weekend Chris Wallace the host of fox news Sunday and Jonah Goldberg decided that they would just go in on a pommel fast of Kayleigh McEnany they the it the way they were expressing themselves they just love the way that she conducts these press briefings they're very nice about it here's Chris Wallace you'll hear him on fox news Sunday he's playing a clip first of Kaylee mac in any and then he invokes the time that he once spent in the White House as a journalist alongside Sam Donaldson he's always eager to note I was I was ever Sam Donaldson okay Chris great we got it here's Chris Wallace why was lieutenant general Michael Flynn announced not by the Intel community entirely but by Obama's chief of staff by the former vice president Joe Biden by Susan rice by the treasury secretary I mean this is extraordinary hello first of all it's not extraordinary on masking is pretty routine the effort by people in an administration to find out who a mask American person is and it happens in the in the trump White House it happened I've been sixteen thousand times the year before last what's what's a crime is leaking at but on mapping isn't in addition to whether I have to say that if Kaylee McEntee had told Sam Donaldson and me what questions we should ask that would not have gone wild she would have been a deep trouble if you try to pull in front of Chris Wallace back in the eighties and the nineties come on I was I was listening to this the when it was happening I had to show on and I was I was I thought you know Chris Wallace to me as I've watched him over the past couple of years has become more and more and more of an anti Trumper have you noticed that his his I think bias has started to show and I think up until this point that has not been never really happened with him I don't really see it until recently it's really started to show and I think he he is biased so I just thought he was protesting just a little bit too much yeah but this like sweeping away buying it this is a Democrat party talking point now the token of faith that unmasking is routine is that one is totally rigid it's it's like exposing Americans to civil liberty violations is so routine that you shouldn't ask questions about it is essentially what you're being told how about this for not routine how about spying on the incoming national security adviser of the president of the opposing political party is it a routine thank does it usually happen before you transition between presidencies is unmasking and spying on the people who are coming in next is that like a totally normal thing Chris Wallace that's the way you just conveyed it to your audience at at this is totally retained imagine looking at all of the facts that we discovered especially over the past few weeks about the way my plane was treated and I'm thinking to yourself that's all totally normal there's no way you do that Jonah Goldberg then responds remember Jonah Goldberg this is the guy wrote the book liberal fascism so in the face of liberal fascism you think you might speak up no no no no he told Kelly mac in a shot that mouth you're not supposed to be doing it that way here's John I think her behavior is indefensible and grotesque and I think that what she has done is she is you know the six corners this cliche walking than that president trump wants a war a cone as as DOJ as the as the act as Attorney General what Donald Trump wants in a press secretary is a Twitter troll who goes on the attack doesn't actually care about doing the job they have instead wants to impress the really an audience of one and make another part of the official Washington another one of these essentially cable news and Twitter gladiatorial arenas and it's it's a sign of a bill defining of deviants he down in our politics it's only gonna make things worse yeah don't fight is what Josh in a way that I'm sorry what John is saying here and it don't fight just like you're turning it into a show as spectacle no she's turning it into an opportunity to break through the press and speak directly to the American people you really think it is anyone seriously contemplating that this was designed in order to influence the press the press is it by a large other than some good questions that are asked everything room whether not you hear a lot of concern is gonna credit or not there are some questions and everything I've got guys from the daily caller who do that on a daily basis but there the overwhelming majority of press interaction with the White House is designed to be antagonistic for the purpose of the show right for the purpose of enhancing the profile of the person who's firing off the gotcha question and it's not designed to better inform the public unfortunately so we clearly comes out she's like trying to break through that machine and say here's a bunch of questions you guys are asking about that is a useful exercise for conveying the message that a White House wants to make sure that the American public and here you go over you heard on the go Burke said there something along the lines of what she's done is redefining the press down or something like that and I thought this woman is sitting there telling you the questions you should be asking as if you are the press corps right she she's been doing that a lot in her presence because I know Chris Wallace took offense at that she should be telling us what questions to ask you know we don't what questions to ask and I thought wait a minute you know you're gonna go after her for her behavior when she's pointing out the behavior of the press corps which is to quote Jonah Goldberg indefensible and grotesque so he says well she's just defining it don't know she's calling them out they need to be called out because they're not doing their job they're not an investigative press corps there is it insane lack of curiosity when it comes to anything from the Obama administration yeah why did she really struck a nerve because they got all bitchy and emotional about it they're like oh my god like I can't believe she would say that she's like talking to boys a twenty four that's where Washington comes to.

"Welcome back to the Chris Plante show with me Mike hotel filling in for my buddy Chris plants I think he's back Tuesday downtime healthy back I got a nice note for her and I also got a nice no correcting me from my brother Gregory in Chicago who happens to be listening and WLS in Chicago and saying look I love the press secretary to but the female version of the Salton is the sole Tana those so if I'm calling Kaylee mac and they need the sultan of the political slap she is actually the Sultana my brother is a very smart man he's a very very smart thank you Gregory let's go to line to Paul in Missouri Paula welcome to the Chris Plante show what's on your mind hi Mike thanks so much for no one and for Christmas week you're doing a great job I I had a question for you and then I'm gonna hang up and just listen to your answer all right go at at what point does the attack on the president of the United States and the attack on the constitution and the attack on the American people at what point is this considered treason well okay thank you thank you Paula the verbal attacks on the president you could say they come with the territory Donald Trump likes to punch back he's a counter puncher and I do believe that it's okay to have people with different opinions standing up and voicing their opinions even sometimes shouting their opinions that's okay as long as we can have free speech I think will will get through this now attacks on the constitution if elected officials are are eating away at the constitution the protections in the constitution I'm still nervous about that fourth amendment the first amendment as always making me nervous the second amendment and when I I look over at the people in Virginia and what they're doing to the second amendment it just drives me nuts those things make me crazy in terms of treason that's a pretty big deal Donald Trump was accused of treason all throughout the first the first two years of his administration two and a half years until we finally got the molar report and improve that this was all a a giant hoax and I'm with them on that so it's a fine line but I want free speech even if it's an angry speech to exist for ever in this country friction makes heat heat is necessary for life and we have to have that violence no friction and difference of opinion yes thank you very much for the call let's check in with Richard in Illinois Richard welcome to the crisp lance hill Luna calling electoral is complaining about the people in New York hello to bludgeon and como and dancers special whose order office who keeps with office about the people of New York and I live in Illinois and we had to go around and they go to they were not happy with rounder suicidal look this guy Prisco who turns out to be a com is logged and he inherited three billion dollars up zero three billion this takes three input nine zeros in back of it and I still understand what that is coming up to a million three thousand times that you'll understand how much they would cover the wealthiest guy in here that he didn't make any money to the rich every penny of it well I you know I wouldn't be opposed to inheriting a lot of money I am opposed to someone becoming a Mercedes Maoist where they've got their Mercedes Benz and they want to tell me how I can live my life and prevent me from getting mine I'm against that kind of leader but I'm also against the time here and I have to step aside Michael Palca on the Chris Plante show.

"He wants to take office and find that American people at this stage in the intelligence community is is so well it really it hurts our efforts frankly and so cleaning out all the all the corrupt people get bringing them to light firing that you know getting all of this as long as painful as it might be to the surface as quickly as possible would benefit not only president trump going for but any president going forward so the longer they suppress this the more they hurt the country and and in fact hurt themselves so that's all I've just been perfect I appreciate there are a lot of good men and women working in the intelligence and of our government and a few bad apples are trying to mess with the entire barrel of apples and I'm with the I think we need to get them out and let the good ones who are in there for the right reason do their jobs I appreciate your day thank you so much be safe Michael Palca my name sitting in for my friend Chris plant on the Chris Plante show you wanna join the conversation you're more than welcome to I I have so much audio here today I know I said I was going to get to my tribute to Kaylee mac in any I I might need a little more time I might need to carve out a little bigger chunk of time we will see but you can join the conversation of triple eight six three zero nine six two five eight eight eight six.

"Tuesday with native American leaders at that meeting trump promised to send a half a billion dollars to the Navajo nation which has been devastated by code nineteen more than a month after trump signed the carers act into law tribes still haven't received some eight billion dollars and promised relief funds okay so that would that leads me to this well can I just make a quick observation about this sure that is trump's tape that's the one he plays at the rallies that's the one with tiny dancer that's along with and in fact right after he was done at the plant they play they can't always get what you want and it's not guns and roses its wings shut up Amy but it will get Amy this so this came up and this did this caught my attention and brought me back to the club we just play this is Kaylee what secretary yes this is good she's great by the way she is now she's real she's a mean girl I had no idea I had my doubts about Kaylee mac in any I'm like she's gonna get eaten alive she comes out with just tons of make up and hair all study really hammered on thick because she's changes her entire appearance really does she looks entirely different and then yeah I thought this was a a great might drop more the ending when this is the one on masks I have the mass one I haven't heard the mass one okay what we got play this is Kaylee on the politics of mass so she doesn't really answer this question but it brought up an interesting point which relates to the fact that Austin's all bent out of shape Amy's all bent out of shape and the question is we do have to discuss this a.

"It is my strong opinion that at the foreman of the jury the woman who was in charge of the jury is totally tainted when you take a look how can you have a person like this she was a anti trump activist can you imagine this now I don't know if this is a fact but she had a horrible social media account the thing she said on the account were unbelievable she didn't reveal that when she was chosen right as we continue eight hundred nine four one Sean is a toll free telephone number at the top of the hour the victim just decimated Michael Bloomberg yesterday the usual race redlining is comments a big part of the debate last night will give full reaction and Kaylee mac in any and your calls coming up all right David showed in the two minutes we have what is the process by which Roger stone will get a new trial he certainly deserves he they have a juror misconduct motion pending the judge has seen all of that the defense effort to be sealed and abundance of caution but now there's no reason for it to be sealed the jurors names out there it's a matter of great public interest that motion she will be decided on next week I believe I believe he's going to have a hearing next week I think it's a foregone conclusion though based on her comments today which I thought were totally inappropriate characterising the jury having acted with great and terrible let's assume this judge is not going to grant that request where they go next she denies it then their only Avenue is to appeal the entire decision that point that's an issue for the appeal so that's going to you know that process takes a while she ordered him today to surrender not earlier than two weeks after she decided that motion but you have to get designated to facility he got a forty month sentence in this case when other people are going Scot free without being prosecuted this put her talk today despite what she disclaimers was so political she kept mentioning over the Republican majority in the committee and people say you know this is political it's not and then the entire talk most of the talk with political political political by the way the property you think this judge in particular based on you sitting in that courtroom has a political bias yes I do she did smart person she knows how to make a record but she clearly is offended by Republican politics in my opinion that's what I got out of her talk today to get matching with the Devin Nunez is the one.

"Listening to the best of the Larry o'connor show joining us right now to break this all down give it some perspective and hopefully to shed light on on really what's going on here is Kaylee mac in any she the press secretary for the trump twenty twenty reelection campaign Hey Kelly thanks for joining us Hey thanks for having me Larry well what's the reaction right now from the campaign in terms of what they seen transpire so far today well what we can transpire is rather befuddling shot I would you consider the fact that Nancy Pelosi said previously we thought strong case an infallible case not desirable case for impeachment I Jerry Nadler said it was a case beyond a reasonable doubt other than the same individual they're saying well we need a new investigation in the Senate we need new witnesses despite having an infallible undeniable case they're playing politics but it's become so laughable that they become a parody of themselves yeah this is something that I really just defies logic which I guess I should be used to buy now K. looking back in any but but how can they at the same time say that they have already presented a a open and shut case and that the I think Jerry Nadler said in his opening statement the other day that the evidence is overwhelming in the impeachment hearings that they've conducted how can they say that and yet at the same time say that if the Senate doesn't bring in new witnesses and get new testimony they're actually covering something up but if he can't have it both ways I cleared the five o'clock and very dapper went on to say he's not any reasonable doubt so that if you have a criminal prosecution I go with the product you're looked at the cat that is the case beyond a reasonable doubt that that to the jury and then bent over winter effective let's go back to the beginning of all of this in room three investigatory part of the process I'm fine you information despite having a case beyond a reasonable doubt which is of course the criminal standard for proving a case it's incredible I make no sense of wouldn't it make sense in a court of law and it certainly doesn't make sense that the plight of our constitutional process where the Senate has the trial in the how does the investigatory work it's the way it worked with Clinton is the way it works now but it's not the way it works in the mind of partisan Democrats I know the reelection campaign is very much plugged in to all the voters themselves are you've got your ear to the ground in your hearing what does specially those important voters in some of the states that the president needs to maintain and maybe even grow his electoral advantage I gotta wonder what they're thinking when when we heard all of these things Kelly mac in any about what apparently it happened on this phone call between the president of Ukraine and president Donald Trump they lied about what happened on the phone call the president than with I'm room I mean just incredible unprecedented transparency releases the transcript of that phone call it's completely different from what we were told but they're still marching forward anyway with this charade I mean how many times do we have to be light to exactly and voters see through it you know just slap we goes on and I will but for with large from eighty slap we were in six different cities all across the state I got all the president rallies the day before that I was in the Milwaukee Wisconsin on your next week I go to two more states and I talk to voters and make it after every place I go and every time I am really either surprised by how different the new cycle is here and walking ten from the rest of the country where you turn on the cable networks it and keep that water wallet when I go speak to voters you almost forget impeachment happening who's not something they bring up organically they bring up the caught the cold here for their family or the economy but not impeachment there really is this disconnect and I think again that the CNN faces that I fall back but I was a commentator there that were made on November eighth twenty sixteen I I really feel they're going to be dismayed on November third twenty twenty there's a whole different conversation going on outside of the beltway well into that and the president is going to Davos actually to write that I'd like you to comment on that a little bit too because you you don't think necessarily of Donald Trump and those elitist snobs in Davos as being sort of part of the same club but he seems to actually have a good time Todd talking up the American economy right I mean how can you not your your right to say you know the president he engages the diplomacy with world leaders but never the less top on them with terrorists with paying the fare here eight oh so you know certainly there's that this agreement there but for him to go how can you not be another country and look at this Akon MP were finally forcing income inequality decrease that paycheck going up at the fastest pace or lower middle income Americans any median household income literally hit decree at a record hi how can you not go and be the envy of the world and the president that that that that is last rally you know every company world leaders they immediately grant the economy at the first thing I mean it is truly the American dream is the envy of the world and it's never been greater under president trump so I'm not surprised you go over there and have a good time about it and finally it I'm sure that you were watching the events in Virginia take place yesterday who couldn't see that incredible outpouring of tens of thousands of patriots are pushing back against the Democrats in the Commonwealth the president tweeted last week that the Democrats have so over reached in Virginia that he's predicting that in twenty twenty this state will go his way and that'll be in the electoral column for for the presidency in for his reelection can you tell me a little bit about what the strategy is for Virginia as with regard to the reelection campaign and how seriously you're taking your prospects our certainly taking our prospects is something that is not optimistic I think they were where on offense and much like you know you can't serve you back so really all across the country we've isolated in states Minnesota Virginia the president's right they stole over reached I mean if it got lost but not only that you're getting governor of Virginia I literally advocated for infanticide a Democrat governor on and he's still sitting there at that eat it of course is black face scandalized well you know he is not the one to look at as a leader of the Democratic Party really a nuisance the Democrat party and having him yeah there at the top of the day leading the way hi this increases our prospects.
