"Get them on the record? This is sad that he's I don't know if he actually thinks this sounds like he. Does he sound sincere and is a shame that she didn't say bill. You're acting like an idiot. This is not going to happen. Well love ever happened before. And why are you thinking this way? Luckily when he sat down with this panel right up by the way trump has his own army. I don't think so. I think you need to listen to some clips when he sat down with the panel which was comprised of Van Jones. Do I I like. I like Van. Jones is interesting. And he has contrarian view sometimes Some other Nick. Forget his name and Katy Kirk former today show big NBC CBS host of the CBS evening news CBS. What slop of away. Why do I think she was NBC? She was always. Cbs Shoot Nano. She was lured her away right anchor and then she went to Yahoo and then we lost her for a couple years after the Yahoo move. So I'll give props to Katie couric because she jumps in the minute. He sits down with the Pantley starts again and she kind of pushed back. I know I'm the crazy person I'd say he's not leaving. I just with this bill. The it's only our country. I'm sorry I'm a little upset. What is what is made you so focused on this everything. Donald Trump has ever done laid it out a couple of weeks ago. He said Let me South Twenty Sixteen. He said if he thought he was going to lose it's rigged he doesn't accept any. I guess the question I ask is in countries where they pull that kind of stuff off. The generals turn out to be traitors. I have not seen any evidence yet. The generals are actually unpatriotic. If that happens I think were in trouble. But I think America's military would be happy to walk in there and take him out. We'll see.

"So. I'm so nervous right now that i have to read off my car and she's like that's okay sweetie. Take your time and i'm like oh my gosh. I've even never been like this and then of course breathe calls me out in front of everyone who goes to while i have never seen my sister this nervous before i can't believe it. I'm like really. Did you really just call me out and i have to say in the interview. Amazing like didn't look at her cards. It was like as if she was katy kirk i'm like are you serious bitch. I mean i have to say when you came out of the three. You'll like blushing. I i wasn't allowed in the room obviously because i was like new k. and then just take a picture of all of them together and maybe we didn't get a picture bomber but you know maybe next time soon on her youtube channel. You'll get to see the interview that we had with jalen. I have to say her answers about being an entrepreneur and going from being a fly girl and a singer actress to be an atop fem- entrepreneur was very inspiring actually wanted to pick your brain even more because i was like wow she has such amazing points and and how she got to where she's at asking them. I thought that's going to be your priority questions. I did you did. I just read straight off the card. I was like okay okay. We didn't get to meet cardi b. but cardi b. was in the house but it was cute because i was like cardi b. Teach all your hustling moves like because they're all strippers car to be used to be stripper and cardi. B. told them all about like you know. This takes two years to get good at this and like jails. Character has to be the best stripper in the movie so taylor had. Did you like a crash course and she said she had like two months to learn all these stripping skills like if you dance her. It's going to be yeah i mean you're we'll have to see one thing. Whoever saved my life well then see would have but but what i'm trying to say is that he has very physical did a freestyle dance and one of the shows on strictly. Come dancing back on u._k. Actually like a used the polls for uh specific moral fan after say yes. It is extremely hard. I saw your cowboy routine on the dan. Smith stars live tour and it was almost there. You were thrusting like i've never seen well all. I guess you'd like a cowboy who can trust his pelvis will so then we got to do another amazing show the next day marina. We've got to work with kevin hart for his youtube. Show called coldest balls which you guys balls. Why why would you name it so cold as well okay so he conducts his interview. We are in a nice bath so it's like being in a training room and you're in this ice bath. Have bolts are oh. You know what i said which is going to go ever wanted airs. I said coldest flaps thirteen to like b._g. Fifteen because because in the middle of the interview breathe mentions cold his balls so i look at her and go you mean coldest flaps and he was like what and i'm like. We don't have balls sorry for anyone. I offend who's listening scene right now but kevin hart is hilarious so we were doing a lot of improv in there and his team sets them up so they'll have random people walk in and do stuff to him and it was so hard to keep a straight face. I mean of course so many times. I just started crying laughing but i would take a second bill like oh my gosh..

"And that, that company that we got a lot of flags, you're saying, oh, this product for these reasons, couldn't actually contain insulin like growth factor, which is the thing that, that they advertise we want, and then there was like independent testing show that it did have some of that anyway. So we use apprised by just how many athletes that we wondered if they might be. Using PD's coincidentally their wives were the ones, he's in the PD's other that was amazing that happen. I'm not so surprised because because I think like athletes are such a tiny fraction of this PD market is people who wanna look better. That's, that's the real market athletes like advertisements for those people. The release people wanna look better. I almost did it. I almost did it for a grand thing overly. And I did all the research on it. Yeah. When I started playing basketball game I was, I was going to be like, I'm gonna really take this, aren't you again. Again, it, well, this is what I might actually winter turn fifty. But I did the research on it. And I didn't like how though the stuff about like if you had cancer in your body could actually spur the cancer on a little bit. And that, that was a little alarming. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there may be like an adaptive reason why we have less growth hormone as we get older when you're more likely to get cancer. So I think I would be wary of that, you know, if you wanted to do something like amassing, you should do this. Yeah. But I would go with, like low doses testosterone rather than human growth. Go Cuban style. That's a big Mark Cuban thing. I think he does ads for it does he has been very passionate about, like low doses of static thing is I think you have to once you decide to do it. You just have to keep doing it. I mean, then if you come off at, I think, folks, you up, you can come off. There's ways to come off. And if you do a low dose would be big deal, not saying you should do this. I think it's like vastly low I'm considering off. But, you know, like prescriptions for men like in their forties, of like quintupled over the last decade for this stuff. Like so we might get to a point where this is like, normal middle aged men and athletes, but athletes aren't allowed to do it which might be kind of a weird situation. Yeah. I it's I miss it, the most of anything. No. Got you. I have dreams about it. I really do by favorite thing to do you do it again. I love I love the camaraderie of it. I love the teamwork. I just enjoy it. And so I still have jobs about playing so I'm going to have to make one more run. I'm making a run right now. Okay. Off the talk to Alex and see did you ever think, in a million years, that he would become like a quote, I'm still not sure how likable is, but that hit the things would shift for him like it has I could not have envisioned the way a win, you know, after like Katie Couric, I thought that stuff would stick stick in people's heads. I mean, I'm not gonna call him a pathological liar. But he's definitely was. A serial liar. I mean, somebody told me that carry that Katy Kirk video was used in class about, like, like intelligence analysts to say, like here's a you look at someone who's like good at lying basically. Yeah. Yeah. No, I use the Barry Bonds of lying. He's he lied over and over again and got caught both times and got suspended for an entire year. And then everybody's like cool, put them on Sunday baseball. Like what I mean is a good commentator. And then, and then at one point it turned out he had like a prescription that baseball, let him have testosterone. Right. Like so I mean you know, I don't begrudge him doing any of that stuff. I think that breaking that story was good trade for both teams kind of. Yeah. Maybe cured him a little bit of his perfectionist syndrome in you know but will for Red Sox fans because they've only won one World Series. This century as totally tainted, unlike the at the super clean Red Sox World Series that we have, actually..

"On today's episode. We went on a close to two hour ride with Katy Kirk. I she interviewed us than we interviewed her. Then we talked everything pop culture to death children dream dinner party and so much more. This was quite the episode. Guys. I'm emma. I'm julie. And we're the girls behind komo's vice allows and today is a huge day. We are so excited about our guest. Here. Her presence is legitimizing the podcast in a way that we can't even believe we are joined with Katie Couric. Thank you so much for being. Are you kidding? I'm so excited, and I'm actually going to be turning the tables allot on you. I'm fascinated by what you've created at what at your, Emma? How old I'm twenty four twenty four twenty two twenty two. I mean, it's so great. And that's one of the things, you know, social media gets a lot of hate. And justifiably so I think a lot of people are critical of it. And what it's doing to us our humanity and society, and our culture on the other hand, it is providing opportunities for people like you to create something that's really fun and innovative and different. And then now you have a podcast. I mean, I think it's. So awesome. So you're going to talk to me about a lot of things. But at some point even for a few minutes, I wanna talk to you all about how this came. We just get that. And just get it out of the way. Here is like how I am Commodore in your podcast or all, you know, you've made it when you've been interviewed by Katy Kirk. So I dream. So how did this whole thing come about? Like, let's start at the very beginning as Julie Andrews with. Okay. So basically in April two thousand seventeen Instagram change their algorithm previously. You can never see all the verified comments in one section. So the first algorithm change was that they would highlight the verified comment, so we'd be scrolling. And all of a sudden, we would see these celebrity comments that we had never seen before. And we'd be on all these random feeds everything. So either on other celebrities pictures on Nima counts on random articles. So we became fascinated with it, and we were screening them and setting them to our group chat. Like, can you believe according to courtesy and just you know, we couldn't believe it? We felt like we were unearthing something that never existed before. Right. And also getting some sort of unique insight into these personnel. As rightly holy there was something cool about like seeing celebrity tag, their friend in a meme, it's so Sozeri like humanizing and like what? And what we do. It's so normal that it was like, we couldn't believe we. Yeah. We couldn't believe it. It was crazy and also like a sneak peeks because it's less kind of intentional at in terms of. What they might put in their own feed, and it reflects what they're interested in or kind of who they know or what they're what they're focused on. Right. So like a weird way. It's like through the side door and away. Exactly. That's perfect. It. That's how he felt. So I kind of I was like I have to do something with this. I have to capitalize on this change. So I made the account, and I knew I wanted to run it with someone. I knew Julia was the only person I wanted to do. Friends from college. So she was two years younger than me and we became close because I was the recruitment Tarik recruitment. Jeff, our sorority, and I needed like a sophomore committee of girls that knew the freshman girls in. Julia was one of the girls that I enlisted, and we just no no joke. This is like we couldn't make this up. We bonded over our love of the Kardashians. We enter Europe champion Kardashian group chat. And that is so funny at some point down down the road in this podcast. I wanna mind that a little bit. Because I think I missed that. I missed that train the crash and train. But I admire them I got in trouble once talking about them. But we'll talk about that in a minute going..

"Like, we knew mistake we changed it people cuts commenting because we hold on. We then realize that just because we change the cap if you didn't refresh it, and you just saw it on your on your feet, the caption didn't change the people are continuing to comment. So. So people continue to Leslie, it's not even worth it. It's like we'll just start in around up. We put in the first round up. I swear to God we were on the phone like freaking out. What wait wait hold on? I'm missing a major part of this. No, the part that you're when we before we deleted it and add it to the roundup, we change the caption immediately, and this one girl comments and says at Katy Kirk just in case, you miss it. They changed the caption. But they've originally wrote. Like at John Maher. What a guy first off what is wrong with you. Why do you need to alert Katy Kirk as to our honest mistake. We what is wrong with people. Could you imagine? Please tell me that nobody listening whatever do this totally nice to correct us and tell us what we made a mistake. Like, I get it. And I appreciate that. Obviously predate the DM's more than the comments because it's to me always the private private classy thing to do. But fine if you wanna comment that's fine too. But then to comment saying, by the way, Katie just make sure to make sure you saw they're wrong. This is what they did. So we we delete the picture. Okay. We are on the phone. I said to Jill I can't look I can't look I'm making her delete every single one of the inbox is because I couldn't even look at it. I was I went into full blown panic attack. Does it happen to me really ever? And I because I couldn't handle okay? We made the mistake Jeffrey shut the fuck up. So then we re post the roundup this same girl who come into the Katy Kirk thing. Comments on this picture at common? On the route. If it goes at John Wallner what a guy hashtag never forget. I I said to Julie this fish. Are you fucking kidding me? Okay. Totally get totally get correctness. The I totally don't get telling Katie Couric better mercy. But. You're getting blocked. We'd never blocked people. I said this pitch. Clearly, she's a malicious human being who was out to get us. And that is so so nasty I don't wanna be surrounded by anybody. Who would ever do that? That situation was just I was just such like people could see if people what was going on behind. Let's see how much we cared that. We had fucked up they would own my God. They'd be like, oh my God him. So I mean, I would hope that they would have been like, I'm so sorry. I just wanted you to know it was like a cow's. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God aware, especially because her husband had passed away was like she just got divorced. We felt it was it was Joey just stay stay. It Was was. that we say, but when you make a mistake, and it goes two million people, it's different in so magnified. And like, it was I don't know. We're we're giving doing how intense it was an eye. We never get like this. Because we never we never postings where it's that big of a deal. We really take a lot of time to make sure monopoly anything that could be considered bad. But my God, I still I think I have that. I really do and that girl seriously. I wonder what she's the type of girl where if you cheat on a test in school. You know, she was like telling her the telling the teacher like by the way, kill paper. Yeah. And fuck that bitch because you know, what? Nobody likes that bitch. Don't worry that girl. We have homework. Right. Fuck you. I deleted her comment, and I blocked her. So nobody will ever. Arm around. Fuck. Those create like a little huddle around there. Oh, did you. I don't remember. I don't remember what I answer that. You remember? Yeah. Yeah. "Well, why don't you continue a little? So we think that that was hilarious common in. Wow. This inside look to Katy Katy Kirk slave. And and I actually happened to be on the phone when we posted this, and I was not paying attention at all. And I told you what to caption? It was my thought. Take full blame responsibility. And I told her she Sacremento greater husband was, and I truly this is owning stakes because we are not perfect. Okay. I wasn't thinking, and I totally made the caption at John moaner her current husband, comma, what a guy. Well, big mistake. Let me let me just I explain the reason why that's the reason why that is incorrect is because that is her husband now, but her husband at the time that her she was pregnant passed away. Unfortunately, a while ago. So I mean. Yes. It was an oversight. But I don't think it's fully to blame us because it's not like we picked the wrong person, which we picked her and husband, and we weren't as well versed on the situation as we should've been and we knew that though, I just wasn't thinking. I wasn't my mind wasn't like my mind. Was so preoccupied that's what it was. Personally. I looked at an I wasn't able to credit because I just didn't know like, I just I I I knew she had a husband once it was said, I knew she had a husband passed away. I just at the time didn't think anything of it. And within two minutes. It had to have been. We realize the mistake in the caption changed immediately thought, it was just gonna be whatever people went crazy. Not to clarify. Not mad at us. Not like it wasn't. It was obviously. And it was it was the comments were like just, you know, just just you know, a few people were a little malicious about it. I will say that they were like that that they were like how could you be so stupid to make this your copy whatever sorry because we are human beings that made mistakes. Any change in two minutes. We we put it up and stuck are gone. We're like we're just gonna leave this year..

"I was like not sure how to say that I had peace yo s because I hadn't come out about it yet or hadn't come out about being gays. It's called polycystic ovarian syndrome. It's hard to get pregnant. They got Got it. it. And so at the time, again, this is what I get for not being truthful and Lissa cure. I was insecure about it. And I thought like God if I if I tell people about this or they gonna think I'm a fraud like, I'm not really healthy or I would not issues. And so I was like, you know, I just don't know. And I was like I don't know that I I can I can handle going through the process, and I meant for Tila treatments. Never ate spun it seven, you're welcome. You're always wasn't mom stuff at big girl. Manja eleven year old dog twenty pounds thinks she's cujo. And it was also so extremely damaging and no one ever printed like Haitian ever said that hey, that's not true. You know, it's a fertility thing. Hey, no one again to this day. That's super I think like that. I said that which really harms moms who are afraid of young pregnant and all my God. I mean, dude in and I walked on Katy Kirk show once and I ripped her apart a walk out, and it's a whole show about adoption, right? I'm so excited to talk about adoption. It's like there were a hundred thousand kids in this country alone had their parental rights. Terminated like, let's talk about it. There's so much misinformation that I didn't know when I you know, I walk out and they play a clip from biggest loser. No idea why has nothing to do with. I wasn't even on business at the time. And. Katy Kirk goes God, I think we know what kind of mother you are. And I tore her shreds. Well, I lost my mind. And I was like how can dare you? How dare you say that to me? And I was like do you? Stop and ask a doctor if cuts their kids heart open at night when if he does open heart surgery during the daylight, you have no idea what it wasn't flipping. You have no idea what she was just being a bitch. And I was like you have no idea. What I do. You have no idea. Why I do what I do. And you have no idea what kind of mother I and they cut the whole thing. Just cut out. They got all the, but it's like that kind of stuff and people are like, oh, she abuses kids. And it's like really so say before it all starts someone lays it all out for you in the like, okay. He's going to be a large. There's gonna be some people that think your bullshit. Yeah. But there's going to be a whole other group of people that you're gonna help in this intense way, you go like still, let's do it. I would. Do it right would. But the part about this stuff. That's so harmful is that it damages the relationship with the people that I help. So the women that I would speak to about getting back in shape after pregnancy. And that I would want to give encouragement to now think I said pregnancy ruins body, and I can't help them. Now. In fact, I'm scared them if even though I never said it. So it's like this bizarre, betrayal, where damages your relationship with the papal, mama. What seven? Stop it..

"I didn't know I was just upon it wasn't her. She didn't want to be pushed around, which makes sense. Sure. Especially back then being a woman, I mean, can you imagine now in hindsight, you got your little piece out someone who's this young girl coming in and it was the star and they're gonna use my show in my head. I thought it was a great move because I thought it was gonna learn from somebody. Right, but that was you know you right? And now that I'm older rooms mater, I'm like a cushy didn't leave of me, but I didn't know. So then what happened? Couple years before that I met with ABC ABC came to me because Katie cork show got cancelled and they wanted me to take over for Katy Kirk. They wanted me to do a talk show, and I thought back to when I had my TV shows when I had the TV deals, the head MGM kept saying to me. So you need to do a talk show because you have Oprah qualities. And at the time I didn't have the self-esteem, and I was like, but I'm a sitcom person. So then ABC came to. So I was like, all right, maybe this is the way I should go. This, maybe this is the way it should go. So I go when I meet with them, and I told them that I wanted to do my talk show on my talk show was going to be because it celebrity, myth was breaking. It was over because the social media I wanted to bring humanity back to everybody so that we could all so wouldn't turn into a big mess. Right. And so I wanted to do a talk show where I had a celebrity and you were there my hope Trump's fear storytelling event. So I did that storytelling with Trump's name and in a long time ago that so I am a show, right? Yes. So I've been forecasting stuff before. It's happened long before it even happened. So that storytelling event was where you had to tell a story. We'll hope overcame fear and it was hilarious watching you and a couple of other people who are very cynical have to come around to hope that was one of the funniest part of the whole thing was to watch watch tech, Tim Rondo to set up like the rim. It is with somebody had to find the hoping stormy. Okay. Everybody said that was the best night they ever had to all these things that I've done along the way have shown me. I'm onto something onto some of my TV show. They said I was the head of my time back then I look back at my TV show. Now I was talking about the disenfranchise middle class, white men back then I just didn't know what I was talking of. Sure. So so I go to ABC and so I picked them this TV show about how I want to draw the lines, the similarities, the humanity between the regular people and the celebrities. And then I, I was going to create a show where where celebrities could come on and handle their own image instead of like the stuff like TMZ and everything was out of control my, they're going to be excited about coming on because they're going to be able to talk about what they want to talk about who they really are. And I'm safe person to do that with, which is why the hope Trump's fear storytelling event work because I'm safe. Same thing happened when I hosted late, Larry, Flint came on, and he was so afraid I was going to attack him for porn, and I wanted to talk to him about what it was like to take a bowl of something you believed in. So. My mind is never goes to judging people that goes to finding a why they do what they do and empowering people. You're sorta podcast. I have. I just started my Supercell podcast, the new version of it. I just did like I have eleven episodes of it. Can people get them? Yeah, they can get it on. I tunes in at my website so back to ABC. So I pitched the show. I pitched the show a pitch this show. Now they want me to take over for Katie Couric. Katy Kirk is like an empathetic I've talked to her. She's nice, right? And so they like, oh, you mean like Chelsea handler, and I go, no, I wanted to do it here, but I wanted to do this show that I wanted to do macho..

"Be with and steven i i see on the notes that you you wrote an answer to that i don't know if that was a serious answer or are you kidding around with me but what do you think i wrote sex spots but i'm thinking austin powers is still box right this is actually becoming a more serious something that's on the horizon who was a katy kirk or somebody who did a i thought whether intentionally or not a whole larry's interview with a with a sex pot they're trying to give these things personalities now and it was funny did did the second bout have anything to say the yeah yeah kenny kirk kept trying to talk current events and the sex bought kept trying to bring it back to the bedroom you know tried to obviously trying to boost katie couric the entire time it was funny it was fun and i i'm saying katie couric and my apologies if it's not it's it might have been someone okay it might have been eighty kirk ask individual some media person of that of that i can that had that interview what this thing you know what i'll tell you what we're gonna bookmark that i wanna do a separate show about sex bots now that we're doing sex shows right we'll do another one of about sex botts in particular because i think there's a lot of interesting issues around some of the things that's been coming up in this hbo show westworld and all these issues around what does it mean when we objectify things even if they're not conscious right and of course they are conscious then there's there's this whole other there's this whole other issues but i got a bookmark that we're gonna come back to that we're in talk about we're going to talk about sex bots down the road someday but we'll see if we might come up with a solution that works that doesn't involve some of those problems but actually want to bring up a bigger inequality i thought i thought robin did a great job of just kind of clarifying the conversation by changing it's like now i want to change it a little bit.
