"I had to write out a script and then I flew to California, got a crew and shot every I shot all of my scenes. Whenever I have the beige looking shirt on, that was all shot in one day. And then did you have a prompter or some sort of bullets and you got up there and talked? It's all just me. So no problem. No prompter. Wow. I can't read off of a prompter. It moves too fast for me. And it was puzzling to me because as soon as I looked at the ingredients, I went, well, wow. This is a group of people that's saying this is healthier, yet this is just processed junk. You might as well, I can make an argument that an Oreo cookie is healthier than these beyond patty do it. Do it. All the stuff. Do that. Make that case. Right now? Yeah. I don't have it sitting in front of it, but again, you can look at it and you would go, okay, because this is what I find fascinating about that statement is I am a disciple of the no carb world. And here we are to no car people, and you're going to make the case that the impossible meat is as bad as an Oreo for us, right? Yeah. That's crazy. That's crazy. And then, you know, I was looking at politicians during the last election and they were all going, well, we need to cut more meat out in New York, started doing meatless Mondays. And it's like, wait, I'll policymakers are behind this kind of stuff. Yeah. There's something going on here. So I just kept looking deeper and deeper. And I'm not a climate denier at all. Yeah, I think we have problems. We have too much CO2 in the atmosphere. We have a problem. But when you look at cattle, I just started seeing all these anomalies that just didn't fit for me. You know, a methane stays in the air for ten years when a car belt is something it stays in the air for thousands of years. So what's the real problem? One is regenerative and the other one is not. And I started like most of the stuff is made in China. Most of the ingredients from these impossible meats and beyond meats are made in China. And then they have to be shipped here and that takes diesel fuel to get it here. And then we have to manufacture it. And then we have to put it out so it's like, okay, who's hurting the planet more? Right. A cow or you. And the answer is you. So I don't want to argue about atmosphere. I don't want to hear an argument about health. Okay, we're looking at so when we look at the ingredients. I can barely see that Gary, but it says we coconut oil. What does this after that? Potato protein. This is for the impossible burger. What comes out of that natural flavor? Whenever you see natural flavors, it's time to run and hide. Right. Who knows what that is? It's like what do they call it when somebody has a ingredient that proprietary ingredients? The singer proprietary. Yeah, you could call anything natural flavors. Gary, what's the word next to it? I can't even read it. I think he's in another room. He's not near Mike. It's like Lima globe in or something like that. I'm sorry. I'm trying to zoom in on this picture. It's just not cooperating over Zoom. Whatever that is, they have a parentheses. I think soy, and then as yeast extract, salt, soy protein. Whenever you see saw in any product at all abomination, you know, people yell about GMOs, right? That same group yells about GMOs, 90% of all being sold around the world is sold by a company called Monsanto. So there's a GMO right in your product. So hey vegans, start yelling about. Well, that's the crazy thing. The religious, the religiosity and all of this, misses the facts, right? Because your religious purview blinds you to looking objectively about things because there's a religious fervor about it. Yeah, soy GMO. Good. And then there's usually, isn't there some sort of fungus or mushroom or something in these things usually? You would have to put it back up. We would have to look at it. It's impossible, so I remember I had one once like at a umami burger, and I was like, what is this? And they started telling me, I was like, oh boy, how do I know that's not creating a carcinogen or something on the surface? It was such exotic plant. It was like mushroom. It was a weird, weird set of fungi. And I'm like, this is weird chemicals. This is playing with organic chemistry a bit. It is. And by the way, now it breaks down into I can see it better. Soy protein, isolates. Again, bad konjac gum, konjac is another way that they derive, you'll see that a lot of it and keto projects, keto foods. They'll say konjac. That's another just wheat style product. It's a carbohydrate. And then you go into the xanthan gum, now that's the ingredient of something that they're telling you as healthy. Now Gary, do you have an Oreo cookie? There's going to be probably a lot less manufactured stuff. I bet. And by the way, both of them are vegan. That's why I picked Oreo. Really? And I guess my question would be do you think there's as much more carbohydrate in a Oreo, right? More sugar. Maybe. That's the nutrition fact which are no facts. At all. It's so funny. We call that nutrition facts. And that's the one place where they can lie. The ingredients is where the FDA tells them they have to tell the truth. This confusing. So literally it gets back to staying with the basics. Things that grow on trees grow in the ground live on the ground are alive at one time or another. We're never going to we're not improving on that. We're not we're going in a bad direction, look, drew and we were growing up the fat chick maybe had an extra 5 pounds on her. Let's see here. Ingredients, sugar, that's bad. That causes unbleached enriched flour, wheat flour. And we're going to niacin on, okay, so you can almost make the argument that they're about equal. I had some meatballs recently and they were delicious. And I was like, I can do this, you know? But it's not working out the way you planned it. No, and I've gone through two batches of meatballs on my 8 to 8 meatballs and last night I just like my stomach was like, so people what he's saying is he wants your slow cooker meatball. Recipes. Right. Because it's very easy to make anything. I mean meatballs keto. It's very simple. So, I would just like trying to figure out the right proportions to get it. Yeah. And I mean, my sister. And then kind of thick. Put the sauce in the knee make sure which I did, and I just it still was like, it was better. Like, maybe you have to cook it at like the higher for shorter. Maybe the higher temperature. Yeah, because the sauce turns to water almost. He wants the sauce thicker, that's what I like too. And he wants it a little sweeter. Yeah, and I think it's just a bit crushed tomatoes up in there with whatever sauce or you know. That sounds yummy. Can I just say this dab of train wreck I just did tastes great? So. Wow, that's great. So sorry I was a negative Nancy. Oh, that's okay. I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's the thing about being stoned stoned or drunk. It's just like, oh, I love this. More right now. So those are also keto friendly. Yeah, I'll tell you what, if you do keto and go man, get online and look up those recipes because they are a lifesaver. That's what really made that difference for us this time. Yeah, I mean, the thing that we kind of live on are jalapeno poppers. I literally made 12 of them today and I think we have like four laughter like that. But. Oh my go over and ask today, what's everybody having for dinner and I was like, oh my where am I chicken wings and jalapeno poppers? And she was like, you guys are having all of your bumpers every damn day. We in a merry day. Yes. That's correct. And actually, I had one for lunch. I mean, it's like we live on it, but they're the perfect keto food. They're a pepper, which we, you know, the hardest part is you got to core them out and you just wanna vomit when you're doing it because the pepper gas gets in yeah. And we both cough and sneeze and everything runs really weird. I have decided to start wearing gloves because they used to burn my hands. This material, like the pepper stuff, vapors. Okay, they're like pepper vapors. And they like rise up. So like when I stand up from sitting as a kitchen table, I'll get like a huge head of it. And it goes every time it goes right into the back of your throat, it like it goes straight to your throat and it's cough and gag. And sometimes David looks like he's about to throw up. He's like retching. I am. It's hard. Or like, I'll walk upstairs. To the neck top floor. And I can feel it in the back of my throat just to tag you. And that's when I was sing today, it's like that pepper spray must that must be what it's like. Only times ten. You know, that show works. I know, and pepper nature, but nature defenses. These are all messy lots every time. So but anyway, so here's our that should be the time of our show, really, as a stoner podcast. I teach our most give up every time. Every single time. There isn't a day goes by the nature doesn't have its way with me in some way. Don't try to not take nature seriously. Well fuck you up. You'll get bit in the house. So here's our jalapeno popper recipe in case you are wondering we've literally told them I swear every podcast but go ahead. Well, I have a new step in it. You do. And I think it helped. So, you know, did we tell that about avocado wigs? They're not alligator rigs, but are they? Armadillo eggs. I don't know, maybe. Should we tell them about that? I don't think so. 'cause we just made those variations. I think we made those couples. Okay, so David's making that a little bit of pepper. So basically what you do is like now instead of I used to like slid him down the middle and then just kind of stuff him from the side, but now I core them out from the top with a paring knife and I'm just kind of drill it and all this stuff comes out. And then I boil them and hot water for 5 minutes and then I stuff I'm full of cheese and chicken. We got a rotisserie Frankenstein chicken from Costco, and we pulled that apart and put a lot in there with cheese. And then I wrap it with bacon and then I put it on a baking tray and put it in the oven for four 25 for 45 minutes so the baking can get nice and crispy. And they're delicious. David will put all sorts of weird shit in our jalapeno poppers. We have like meat leftovers from the week. We'll put stuff that he's put pork in it. He's put when I make like slow cook like chicken for tacos and stuff for the kids, he'll do that. He'll put anything. He's put the meatball meat in there. That was the, no, that was the bell pepper, ground beef. So good..

"I know that a lot of people are really well meaning. When they say that, you know, oh, you don't have to eat one certain way to be your best. And they quite being your best with your body. So they mean, you don't have to eat one certain way to be thin or to, you know, my goal isn't even thinness. It's just trying to be like the best I can and to look and be at a good healthy weight for me, you know? And so people have the best of intentions when they say, oh, you don't need to do one thing to look this way. But guys, I can't eat just a normal diet just have a sandwich every day or whatever. Like I used to when I was like little whatever. I can't do that every day . I can't do that actually that much at all because I will gain weight. And I don't feel my best when I am at a higher weight, you know, as to what I know what's good for my body. So I really can't do that, you know? I know everyone thinks that you can and you're just not letting yourself be, I'm sorry. I know what I look like. I know what I like and what I don't like and I'm not super strict with myself. So I just know that I can't eat this consistently and look the way I want to look, you know? And so I do have to have rules. And it's just nice because I actually do like Quito and I actually do like intermittent fasting. So it's kind of nice. I don't even have to do them all at once, and I actually tend to not do all of those at once. I feel like if I'm doing intermittent fasting and then when I can only eat like keto foods afterwards, it's kind of like eh, you know?.

"Clements men are extremely ritual like you guys all every single one and frost. Maybe you should comment about this is your Clements man extremely habitual. It's kind of weird. Cuz Rick is the one that I would. I feel like you wouldn't be. I know Frost is Habitual. Yes. Yeah, so I mean a woman works on a schedule, which is awesome. It's funny cuz like we have game night and I'm like, oh look at you know my watch from my phone and go home. We're not going to get through this game. You gotta go home and go to bed. Yeah. I'm just like, how can we finish this as fast as possible right? Not a dick on Frost. I know I actually am so glad that for sure. So so going back to the diet thing that was a big thing for me because I started on keto the first time it was not long after you started. So about two years ago. You started the very first time first time and then I started not long after that right couple days. Yeah, like within a week I would say was within a couple of days and then I kind of I got off of it and for me it was a it was procrastination, thing. Yeah missing out. Yeah, which I think is another huge thing with my own procrastination is I'm worried that I'm going to miss out on something that's not necessarily important fact, but but to me it is like you may not think it's important, but I feel like it is and And I said that for a long time, you know, I I told Wendy I was like, you know working my day job. Yeah, because there are Koreans are are you know thousands of tourists? Just yeah, just last week. It was the week of 4th of July and I'm sitting there working and I've been good like it. I've all it's been almost a week. I've been so long that I stuck to my shakes and my nuts in in the you know, the little snack packs of the time or a snack packs. I've stuck to those and I've eaten just keto food. I've I've stuck with it and I'm working and the production manager comes in with this big Bakery box and opens a sucker up me off. I know I'm pulling to like 14 inch churros. Out of this box still warm still a little warm. Oh, man, and I hate them and I texted windy. I was like, oh my God, I messed up. Yeah, like I beat myself up for it. And I had said when I started doing this, I'm not going to beat myself up because you know when it is just an American thing what diets know I mean, I think that's pretty Universal. I think the beating yourself up about, you know, self-deprecating. Yeah. I've heard I've heard a lot of people say that we as Americans, you know, we talked about going on vacations, but we never really enjoy it because we're thinking about all the work that were missing or you know, we beat ourselves up for eating to churros when you're on a diet. And not fully enjoying those shows like you're not living in the moment when it goes back to you know, the procrastination thing like that's the reason we do it is to feel good in the motion. Yeah and not put ourselves out and not have to you know, do anything right now. I am I am a cereal in the moment or you are I yeah, you enjoy life to its fullest. Yeah, and I don't I know I'm not the only person right but like it causes me anxiety when when you miss out on churros. Yeah, that's one thing. Yeah, but like in this is this is another conversation if you didn't take the shirts if you didn't eat them. What he done for the rest of the day was thinking about the churros that I didn't need you would have thought about that. But then you would have thought well, I hope you didn't think I was rude for not taking them right or what other people think if I if I did take those and if I took to what do people think, you know, like it's it's that constant thing and I think that is a very American stigma of being self-deprecating. Yeah, like just you're not good enough and I wonder where that even comes around like, is it the American dream gone? Awry? I I don't know. That's that's interesting, you know like to be the best like why why I just want to be the okay assist. Mhm. I just can't just be okay right like And maybe that's procrastination to anyway, I think that's about all I had. Yeah, I mean, I don't think there's going to be any hard-and-fast. Oh, this is how you fix it. Right, but I think it's what works for you. But I think if we can all just kind of step back and go. Okay, how do I handle procrastination? I guess that was another thing that I wanted to ask you. Was kind of what what would you say is your number one thing that you procrastinate about work? Okay, and mine is a specific kind of paperwork to have to do it work. Okay so long so like you said, I think we all have those things that we hate to do. But we need to find I guess maybe the coping mechanism that works for our brains. Yeah wage. I think we're all wired a little differently like me I need hype man. I need somebody that's a cheerleader saying you can you got this come on, come on, and I have noticed that like when I was doing the best like when I was going to the gym all the time as because I had a pal like I had a pal. They're telling me you come on. You can do five more minutes or two more minutes you could do you can do it like and so I notice that that's kind of what I need to get my dishes done. I think as far as Jim can is the gym concern Jim from the office job? But as far as the gym is concerned, I I think I would be more apt to go to the gym and my had somebody there encouraging you. Yeah, because I'm I'm a lot. Maybe she maybe that goes back to the fact that nobody encourages anybody else anymore like to do anything right? Like we're we're so concerned with being the best rate. We're not concerned about somebody else doing their best selling you you should be happy that that you are a homemaker and that you work from home because when they you have to tell a co-worker that you're on a diet, it's sometimes it's kind of humiliating like yeah, I guess like admitting that there's something quote unquote wrong with you. I'm I'm fat. I'm overweight great. I mean both are everybody, you know, you can look at me and tell but it's like that's that's another discussion. Yep. So there's not a one-size-fits-all.
