"Morning. This is Nicole Harris, joined by my husband, Congressman Andy Harris. We also have delegate Kathy Schlegel with us and we're in our last half hour of the morning show. Cathy. We have a whole lot of people on the phone right now. Can we just go straight to the film's? Yes, That's the best part about talk radio. I thank for sure. Great Stephanie in Baltimore County. Good morning morning. All right. Thank you for taking my call. I'm calling regarding the Covid 19 Vaccination Mandate University system of Maryland. And I just wanted to let you all know. And your listeners know that a group of concerned parents and citizens have and students. Have gotten together and formed an organization called the Coalition for Future Maryland, and We are raising funds for litigation. Against the university system of Maryland to fight these mandates that are, uh, coercing and forcing our students and all the university system of Maryland employees. To get these vaccinations, whether they want them or not. And, um, if they choose not to there being very vague about whether or not they're even allowed back on campus. Um and those who get exemptions are going to be facing discriminatory policies such as masking Exclusion from events, housing exclusion, things like that, so I just wanted to bring your attention to this very important missions to fight these mandates. Okay. So coalition for future. Maryland is the name of the organization. Yes. Is that the website? Yes, Great. And I'm right. And can they also find you on Facebook? They can also find us on Facebook. We have a Facebook page. Great. Great. So anybody interested in fighting the mandates and for the colleges and Stephan, Maryland, Go look up Coalition for future Maryland. Delegate. What do you think? Delegate? What do you think about that? Yes, I think it's great. I so appreciate that. You guys have, um, formed a group to fight this. I know that. Delgado. Oregon has been very involved. And, of course, Congressman Harris and I. We've been writing letters. We've been asking the university to re examine their policies. To make sure that they have an actual medical exemption. We had a constituent that had a letter from his physician, asking that he be exempted from the mandate and they rejected him. And you know, we took that back to permanent and said, How can this How can a bureaucrat overrule a Someone's family physician, and they they granted him his exemption, but the fact that they had to get their local elected officials involved To actually protect their son is ridiculous. Absolutely. No, we We need you to fight, you know, to help us make these changes because otherwise it's just us. You know, out there taking the stand and we turn behind. And if there's nobody behind us, then these, uh you know, the people running the day at universities won't listen to us. Yes, Stephanie. Thanks for the call. Have a great fourth of July. And thanks for stepping up to the plate because they you know if people don't step up to the plate that we're just going to be overrun by by these kind of things, right? Let's go ahead and take it. Okay, Kathy, go ahead. Yeah, I just wanted to also, let's make sure everybody understands that we delegate Arkan and I also wrote to the Harper Community College in the Baltimore County Community College. And both of those institutions as well as I think most of the community colleges across the state do not have a vaccine mandate. That's right. Yeah. They are not following. I think part of the reason that the university system of Maryland is pressing it is because they had congregate well then, and the community colleges do not have congregate living, and I would believe And, you know, certainly, um, you know, we do want to take a science based approach congregate. Living is a huge concern for spreading any kind of virus. And, you know, Andy, you're the medical expert. Of course you can weigh in on how that is. Certainly a factor. Well, yeah, it is. But, you know, the University of Maryland didn't say Chris, For instance, the University of Maryland has a lot of commuter students. Lot of people who go to towns and live in the you know they commute, but they didn't make an exception for that. They didn't sell. Well, if you're commuter students, you know you don't need don't need the vaccine to come on campus. It was just like this global vaccination mandate that there's this It's just wrong. Well, Cathy, I know you're only with us for a few more minutes till we break for traffic. What else on your mind? Well, I'd like to wish everybody had a wonderful independence day. Um, you know, I'm just so proud and blessed to be Americans. You know, Rarely a day goes goes by that I don't Thank God literally, Thank God that I was born in America and you know, we certainly can't take any of those rights and privileges that we have for granted. Today, more than ever. We have to stand up and take a stand and fight for all of the things that our founding fathers fought for. They risk their lives and their livelihoods and everything. To allow us to have this, um, anything unique and wonderful nation and, um, one of the reasons I'm just proud to work with you, Andy, is that You get that? Especially having parents that grew up in Communist Europe. Um, you know, we have to come together to unify and fight against the radicals that are trying to take over our country. You're absolutely right. We got one person is waiting a long time. And I think you know is going to ask something about How important is July 4th celebrations are mark in Baltimore got about two minutes until we got to go to traffic. Okay. Good morning, ladies. Gentlemen and Chuck. Um Ouch. We Have had our Fourth of July celebration cancelled. But next month they're going along with the Afrim festival. Now, I was told that it was canceled because they don't want too many people congregating in the same place at the same time. Do they not realize that when we have the Fourth of July celebration, we're celebrating our freedom so that they could have things like the African Festival. And you know that's a problem for me because I am a veteran and I come from a long line of veterans and It just disturbs me that you can cancel one. But not the other. Yeah. Look, you're absolutely right. Mark. You have a great Fourth of July celebration. But, you know, as I said, there are two sets of rules, one for Republicans, one for Democrats. Kathy, You have last word. What do you think about what? Marx Marx point? What do you think It's become so obvious, right? They used to try to hide it. But now we see that, you know, just complete hypocrisy of what's going on and You know, we can't give up what it was A Churchill said. Never, never never give up. We have to do that band together. Appreciate you guys. Let me join you on air and All the people listening. You know, CBM is a great station to get your news and come together on these important issues. And I'm wishing everybody a wonderful holiday weekend. Thanks very much, Cath. You have a great fourth of July. You know, Nicole, we've got to get we've got to get Lauren or icon on the program. She is an up and coming star in the house of delegates. And I know that's true because the sun paper goes after her regularly, too. And she's just a good friend to Yeah, Thanks, Cathy. I It's time for traffic.

"I mean, you know, you look at who we've had. Today We started with Maryland delegate Kathy Schlegel. We had Emily dominates co founder of the Honor Project, along with Ryan Mannion of the Travis Manion Foundation. We got Abigail Schreier coming up in a bit. Talk about her book, irreversible damage. The transgender Kate craze seducing our daughters and now the amazing Morgan Ortega's former State Department spokesperson. I feel like one lucky guy surrounded by all these incredible, intelligent women. Morgan Ortega's great to talk with you. Thanks for joining us. Larry. It's great to be back on with you. Little call back to your days on Fox News there. Did you catch that? Was that subtle enough for you? Hey, e o still remember. Can you break it? Really? Actually, maybe, like once every other week. You did. I remember. I remember. Well, we really wanted to talk to you because, of course you were there in the Mike Pompeo State department doing such a great job with the frankly historic Historic tenure on the Trump administration, and I wanted to talk to you about this renewed interest in the origins of the covert 19 virus yesterday, Jen Psaki when asked by Peter Doocy of Fox News about why the Bush Excuse me why The Biden administration isn't doing more to get to the origins of this, she said. This on we have repeatedly called for the W H O tow to support an expert driven evaluation of the pandemics origins. That is free from interference or politization. Now there were faced one revolt salt that came through we were not. During that first phase of the investigation, there was not access to data there was not information provided Now we're hopeful that wh O could move into a more transparent, independent phase two investigation marketer Take this is that good enough that they were very interested in this. That's why we're having the W H O take the lead. Yeah, e. I mean, it's so it's ridiculous. It's hard for me to know where to begin. Um, One of the reasons why we pulled funding from the W H O is for this very reason, and this is a very detailed right like we we went through when we pulled funding from the WHL last year, one of the main reasons Is it just improved time and time and again that they were going to be beholding to the Chinese Communist Party and that they were not going toe ever seriously investigate the origins of covert 19? So fast forward, Um earlier this year and extended team, it's a sham investigation. The whole world knows that and now they're covering and more investigations from a body that can't be trusted. We need independent scientists, independent investigators. Ago. When now listen, I'm not a scientist, but color me skeptical even if we have independent people going in, and I would assume that the Chinese Communist Party have sufficiently covered up whatever they needed to cover up a long time ago. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't continue to demand accountability and to the man transparency, But it's just laughable from from an institution that spend a year covering up for the CCP. And then run a full and shim investigation the first time around, But the whole world had to basically rolled arise to no one could take it seriously. The United States even had to say, Hey, we can't take him seriously. Why would anybody trust the same entity to be able to do a fair and balanced investigation and I don't get it? I don't know. Why would you would have any faith in their abilities after what we seem to do for the past year and a half? Yeah, And I think most people have that mentality is why would we trust the World Health organization and something I do want to ask you? It was people like your former boss. The former secretaries. Take Mike Pompeo, who was talking about the origins of covert coming from a lab or the possibility of it Over a year ago, reporters discussed this, but we're shunned. You had so called fact checkers, removing information for Social media's fights. It alluded to any type of connection to the Wuhan lab. What has changed now? Why do we finally have wh O? Why do we have other entities? Maybe even Dr Fauci, who who is finally safe? Well, maybe it did originate. Was this just based on it? Administration change. And so now that Biden is president, they're willing to look into this. Happen. Interesting way. I didn't think about it from that way that that's probably certainly part of it. I think that coveted 19 was being politicized, quite frankly, during during an election year. So you were seeing the opportunity you know, from from the Democratic Party for everything, you know every quote unquote misstep, um or anything that we said related to Tobin 19. If we said that it came from China, They said that Pompeo was a racist, you know, And so it was being it was just being politicized. So you know so heavily that you couldn't have a serious discussion about that, because They were just more focused on winning an election. That was that was incredibly, you know, unfortunate. Um uh And I think also you Seymour Media looking into it A year later. I mean, obviously, The Wall Street Journal did a piece. But there are plenty If you do your homework, there are plenty of reporters. There's especially someone Australia and around the world. Josh Rogan from The Washington Post, also wrote about this for more than a year ago. So there is a lot of people that have written about it and sort of listen. I think the Wall Street Journal's fantastic publication They act like it was a big scoop about two days is still in this count, and the rest of us are sort of scratching their heads saying, Well, we told you this a year ago, our guest is Morgan or take a senior adviser to the Atlantic Council and Excuse me, former spokesperson for the State Department during the Trump administration and secretary Mike Pompeo. I'd love you to reflect a little bit here on the events in the Middle East it I mean, my gosh. It was just September when you were where there was Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Great with child I might add during the sighting of the Abraham accords, And now we have this this rupture in the Middle East. We've got Hamas terrorists firing rockets by the thousands indiscriminately. Jerusalem We've got the by administration, flirting with giving money and lifting sanctions to the mole is in Tehran. And we've got anti Semitism, violence on the streets of America, and Democrats don't seem to be able to bring it upon themselves to Call it what it is, which is anti Semitic hate crimes. Where are we in just nine months, for God's sake. Yeah, it's on. By the way. You mentioned that during the Abraham. Of course I was the big fat president, Lady and all the pictures to the Oval Office to the president. I didn't say it of those words. You were great Ally. You were glowing. It was beautiful. Well, that little baby girl at Gina's in the other room, and I'm hoping that she doesn't screen Thank you would contribute. So she is kicking. You know, I won't say that the Abraham records no matter how much the Bidet administration does their best efforts to screw up the Middle East. They can strip the Abraham. Of course. I mean, that was one of the most of all the things that I thought would happen when I went into the job, you know, several years ago, toe work for Pompeo. I knew that I'd be a part of history. I could have never imagined that I'd be a part of for our states..
