"Right so let's get back. Jasmine WE'RE GONNA shift gears here a second so at this point jasmine had only forty eight hours before the cart closed and again. She needed to turn things around like she's asking yourself. How am I going to save this and what she did was really quite unconventional so she had to figure out something that was going to bridge the gap between her webinar selling unsocial and and her next lesson inside social curator which was a four week launch plan okay and what she did was is she created a forty eight hour expiring bonus so almost like a last chance bonus that she called SOS selling selling on social so this was a bonus and what it is is a complete selling system which had a four hundred ninety ninety seven dollar value that any purchaser got for free when they signed up for social curator and the idea was to create an irresistible will offer that bridge the gap between the promotion and the sale okay so now she has this Webinar that people were attracted to selling calling on social now she's created this last chance bonus also named Sally on social which was so smart because it's certainly going to capture the tension of the thousands of people that enrolled in the Webinar and it allowed her to bridge the gap so she was going to teach them how to sell on unsocial right after they had this four week launch plan so she was putting the puzzle pieces together and then what she did next as I said was very unconventional so rather than sending another email to her list to announce the new bonus. She decided that she was going to sell this forty eight hour bonus on social media so sell the selling on social last chance bonus on social media which I have have to say I think was a bold new. What do you think Kathleen like I would have been I would have been leveraging my email list Yes yes. I don't even think would've even thought about it. Bellas faces. She is the queen of Instagram at live video and TV so yeah. I love us. She did not really really bold so here's what she did. She recorded a few videos for instagram's stories and then she did a facebook facebook live. This is actually your husband's idea. He said Jasmine like you're always talking about selling social and how you just do it through your authentic authentic life while you're always at coffee shops. Let's show him how you do it so they showed exactly how she uses coffee shops and in props to sell unsocial for less than fifteen dollars. She took photos with her iphone while her husband. Jd hosted a facebook live of the entire process so imagine this Jasmine's in a coffee shop. She's got a few little trinkets that she's laying out. She's doing the photo shoot route that leads to the image issues is on social media that she uses to sell and the whole time her husband has a facebook live live of her walking everyone through the process and let me tell you within twenty four hours that facebook livestream had been seen over thirteen thousand times and at that point whore. Her sales started to go crazy so she said listen. If you WANNA sell in social I have this bonus. Here's the kind of things we're going to talk about. Let me show you how I do it behind. The scenes and her sales went crazy. That is pretty amazing. I must say talk about out of the box thinking on that no and definitely misleading. I love that she did it because it just goes to show that you can make crazy amazing things happen. Even untraditional ways definitely well. The good news is she ended up meeting her her good goal which and then so that information she'll take for next time and the next one's going to be even better. I'm sure yeah I love getting inside scoops on what other people are doing and how it's going because you usually only see the good the positive of the old look at me. Look what I did so. It's really nice when you Kinda Peel back the curtain yeah the glimpse of what other people are doing and it's one of the things that I respect about her so much because she shares all of that information or shares very freely probably doesn't share it all but she shares freely the good the bad and the ugly and I really try to model that in my business and we certainly try to model that for all of you here on the podcast because it isn't all just rainbows and UNICORNS. I mean there's as many times as you have. Something amazing happened. There's probably quadruple that of things you try that didn't really work out spe- An experimenter Yup. That's so true how yeah well. We hope this gave you some good ideas and really hurt. Jasmine's biggest takeaway is our biggest takeaway and that is your offer absolutely needs to align with how you're promoting it. If you're doing a Webinar make sure that the title of the Webinar and its content relates to the program you'll be selling. Maybe you're doing a workshop. Okay make sure that the topic topic of the workshop dovetails perfectly with something you teach in your program so it's your program is the next logical step if redoing challenge make sure that the topic and content of your challenge slows right into your program. If you feel like there are gaps between the two for your offer and promotion you can do with Jasmine did and create some type of irresistible offer or bonus to tie to tie it together to close the gaps that was that was Roy. Anna Mike they say right. It's it's not over till it's over so if you're in launch mode right right now and you're trying to figure out where's the gap. You still have time to salvage. I think what she was talking about. This is a great example. She you know she discovered this forty eight hours. Before cart closed. There's not a whole lot you can create in that period of time but what she was offering and wasn't ready right then it was going to be ready at a predetermined date two or three weeks in the future so that bought her some time time to put that together so that's an option to. I'm so glad you mentioned that because that was the case. It was two weeks out from the close of the cart that that she ran the class live recorded it and then for anyone. Even that was a social curator member before that launched so her long timers like me who have been with her since the beginning we got access to that training and I did watch that training and it was so so good because she's she's. She's telling you information step by step how she does it. How she uses is just normal authentic conversations about her life that plants seeds about what's possible and in her case about about entrepreneurship in your case it would be about something about health and wellness that then leads to either someone checking on her program or private messaging her and then the conversation goes from there so the initial layer of how to cede all of this so that you can sell in social was so so good such a good training it was. I think it was just under two hours. She did a quite a lengthy Q. and A. It was very informative. I'm very happy that she shared it with all all of us. Well and you know what's interesting about that. That training may have never come of bowed if she didn't even realize she needed to close the gap over everybody benefited everybody benefit like when I heard that podcast episode immediately logged into social curator and started like she has a bonus Zona section I started. Oh please please please let it be there and sure enough. It was like Oh my gosh then I popped on my calendar and watched a few days later but yeah supergun supergun and she and like I said I have so much respect for her as a business owner as a woman as someone that just really shares the good the bad and the ugly. I love love people that are authentic like that well here. Let let's share one thing that people oh so we had her on the podcast a couple episodes ago and we were freaking out how she said. Yes to come on the podcasts out of the big deal. That was a really big deal. It was a really big deal and and here's the coolest spur you guys we approached her at social media marketing world and you know just like any grow. Crocker's right stock doc girl crush. We ran up to a right before her talk Jasmine Jasmine. Can we get a picture with you and and you know I shared that was a longtime social curator are member and how much I love the program and that we would love to have her on the podcast and she without hesitating a second said absolutely here's who you contact on my team to make it happen like she was all about it just so gracious so kind not like oh well. You're going to have to talk my assistant none of that like she just in the moment said yes and we were like oh my. Gosh Guinea schoolgirls down slapping each other really outgoing away play. Let cool play it cool till she kathy anymore than it's like. Oh Yeah Pinch me. Is that real. No seriously I mean that is exactly how he felt like. We were both feeling like social media. Marketing world was a win just for that reason yeah it really was so sorry guys so as Kathleen mentioned at the close of her promotion she ended up hitting getting her good goal which was her logo but she felt incredibly grateful to make it that far and it just goes to show how closely your marketing message needs to be completely aligned to convey it to your ideal clients in a way that gets them to purchase right you have you have to have all of that congruent and and these are the types of lessons that were working with our clients inside the wellness business insiders club not only just training them and how you can do it for yourself but supporting you as mentors along the way until you get your feet wet and really hone that skill because Kathleen tonight we're not born with this ability and there are certainly people that are better at it than we are but I think we're pretty good at it and so that's something that we offer as mentors the wellness business insiders club that really benefits our clients want. "You're doing. Your challenges your Daily Post, and you're really focused on building that one group. That's great. This episode is still gonna give you great ideas on how to run a challenge or launch in your current group. So most of the same principles are gonna apply. So it's definitely something. You wanna listen to even if you don't plan to run a shorter term group. Yeah. Great point. I'm really glad to said that because it could be confusing. You have to do what works best for you for. Sure. And like we said using pop Facebook group is another option for how to generate a buzz around in coming challenge or video series or live online training series or program launched we've seen this model being used quite successfully. So we decided to give it a try, right? We're going to test it and see how it works for us in our results were awesome, actually, truthfully better than we had intimidated. So we wanna share what we did. Kathleen tonight. A love LA. Love. Love running are group's because they're fun and they're interactive. And it's such a good way to find out what your audience wants and build rapport, and you can be sure that you're hitting the Mark on their challenges their struggles their needs and desires because you're building that relationship and the key with using the strategy is to number one know what the pop-up group will be four and what it will be about. So what will it lead people to next in our case? It was to the wellness business insiders club. Will it be a support group during challenge, and then you'll invite people into your program will be a support program during a training series or something else? Then lead you're paid program be very clear the goal for the group for us. It was to deliver the live training series interact with our participants and really get to know that. Hey, that's number one number two..

"Up work dot com is another resource if you don't really know of any virtual assistance that can help you because what you're gonna find is. You're spending a lot of time on five. Five to fifteen dollar type of tasks where you can have someone else do those things. So you can focus on things that are going to help you feel a lot more productive less stressed, and you're gonna enjoy the process a whole lot more face it. I mean, there's things that you were gonna right now, whether it setting up an optin page or setting up mail him chances are you don't love those things you have it in your budget. You can start really really small to figure out. What are some of the things that you can outsource and delegate to somebody else? I think that's super important. How about you, caring? Yeah. I totally agree. And I've again, this is all about being intentional guys. Really? I mean, everyone of these things comes back to intention prior to this year. I feel like I kind of haphazardly did that where again this year? I pulled back I'm running everything through that joy and happiness meter, and then I'm being very intentional with. Okay. What pieces of? This project. I really wanna have my hands in and what pieces can I delegate? So here's a great example. You all know that Kathleen tonight is launched the wellness business insiders club and we record five videos in total for each lesson. We've done October and we've done November now, and I have been the one editing the videos and Kathleen keeps telling me we need to find somebody to add at the videos, and it's like right now, I am feeling so much joy and happiness to go through those and do the at inning. Of course, it's a lot of time. But I'm feeling very connected to our project by doing that. And it's making me happy. So when it stops making me happy or it Stott, or it starts interrupting other commitments that I have we will definitely outsource it. Certainly that's the plan. But right now that is making me very happy to be connected to our project in that way. So again, it's personal. It's about your intentions. It's where your goals are. But the things that you can outsource definitely do that the gal keep nagging her about it. No worries. I know somebody can probably definitely do a better than I can probably make us look even a lot better. But I don't know. There's right now, I can argue that you do good job. Thank you. All right. Number four is focused on the actions that will directly bring you clients and imprint the seas as we made this outline we put be intentional and stop wasting time on social media. So what we mean by that simply is there are many of you that are wasting time on tasks that aren't directly bringing you clients, and you're doing it because you're avoiding selling your voiding the things that actually will bring you in clients because let's face it. You've got to promote you've got to market you've got to sell in order to get clients. Now, if you do that through a webinar like Kathleen. Ed workshops, like, I did whatever your your mode is that's different. But you've got to cross that start line of OK is uncomfortable. As this is making me feel I need to start doing the things repetitively consistently. That are going to bring me clients in social media is one of those things. Yes, it's part of an overall marketing strategy, but it's also a gigantic time suck that can take all your creative time and all your marketing time, that's should be dedicated to the thing who really need the most which is clients which equals revenue which equals you have a business. In throws it out the window. So just be super intentional with. Okay. A little bit of time goes to things like social media. And then the rest of your time is going to the things that directly get you clients right at that eighty twenty rule and you say, Kathleen. Oh my gosh. Yes. Absolutely. And just keep in mind. Ask yourself that question when you're working on something will this directly bring me paying clients give you one example from yesterday. Someone had posted on my Facebook group a a screen shot of her logo. I thought. Okay. That's great working on that. However that logo is not going to bring you clients. So I believe it would be that's not to say you don't have to have a logo..

"Just say, hey, Alexa, play WBZ NewsRadio on iheartradio to get nightside. With Dan Ray on WBZ, NewsRadio ten thirty. Let's head right. Back to go back up to New Hampshire, and we got Lawrence in New Hampshire. Lars, you're next on nightside. Go right ahead. Dan. It's a perfect time for me to enter the Cray here. You had a Canadian on? Okay. You had a wonderful quote from judge on tonight, which I had not heard Jordan Peterson a Canadian has written extensively. You know about education. He's been a guest in this program. One of the chapters. Explain psychoanalysis, and he cautioned psychoanalysts, which he is one to listen, I think his chapter is you continue to listen, your vernal learn more than you ever thought. But in the chapter, he points out that Freudian psycho analysis frequently when a patient presents themselves, and they ask things like, we're having difficulty sleeping there. They have memories they have trauma. They have something. They prob- interrogate lead the patient to uncover this recessed, meaning this oppressed thinking, and in fact, he says in his chapter the patient leaves the office thinking that they've rediscovered truth six years ago. It was pointed out that Dr went through psychoanalysis, and then she evidence the tax, and my point is it's very possible that this is a faulty process. S and nobody's thinking about and asking some professionals whether or not they could very well be a failure to come forth with actual events, even though people reconstructed them under analysis. Yeah. Well, we had some conversation last year about the mic McMartin cases. And I talked about the fells acres case here in Boston, Massachusetts. We just lost that call. I I didn't hang up on him. If he wants to call back Lawrence feel free to call back. If. If you can you can get through. It's been very busy tonight. But we have talked about some of these false memory cases that I have no idea. Let's see what Dr Ford says on Thursday. Let's keep it rolling here. We're going to go to Kathleen in west Roxbury Kathleen in west Roxbury. You're the second. Kathleen tonight. I think yes. And. To name that means dared to my heart and your dear to my heart. Dan, thank you for taking my call. And thank you for shedding light on this. I'm going to have a little different twist and just bear with me for a moment. A few years ago at holy name parish. We were standing outside holding up signs stand up religious freedom and twice different men came by canoe homes swearing in saying you f Catholics always causing trouble. Again. Knitting together, gut Cavanaugh is a practicing Catholic and these anti-catholicism in New England in the rest of the country. I live down south the man next door was the grand dragon of the chief of police, and he told me how much he hated and use the N word Jews, and he said, we really hate Catholics. So these have been my experiences, and I think there's a lot here would take good cow of Planned Parenthood. They're talking an enormous fortune that they would lose. And if this abortion issue gets turned over the follow the smoking gun, and that's what we're really talking about a up politicians that say, the Catholic, but they say, my personal view. I wouldn't have an abortion. But I can't prevent anyone else. I'm a practicing Catholic. I don't have that byu. I am in a twelve step group. And actually, I missed some of the program tonight because I was at a meeting, and I've been sold for forty four years one day at a time God's grace view. Thank you, Dan. Thanks and spots women that have had abortions. And when they're having a problem with staying sober every single woman the problem that I sponsor we dig down..

"One project makes it better. So I have experienced the seeing where dividing and conquering gets us more done in more time or in less time. But I've also experienced the flip side where whenever we can really collaborate and do something together at the same time that it also gets done better even though it's taking maybe a little more time in the long run. I think it's. Less time because we're not having to redo it. Yes. It's almost like one of those, like the some of the whatever it is greater than they are separately. There's some sort of saying they're insert wise saying about efficiency here, right? Wait, no, wait, wait the. Some of the whole is greater than its parts? Yes. I think that something like that, I feel like that's what happens sometimes when you and I get together and collaborate together, and this is one of those things that has taken us a couple of years to really get into that flow. And very honestly, it was writing the book together that really likes sparked our ability to do this. So Kathleen tonight, showing up several times a week for three months to write the being boss book got us into a place where we can make magic together whenever we're collaborating in the same space, meaning Google doc at the same time, look at each other talking things out, writing things together, editing in real time, those sorts of things. And we've done this with writing. We also occasionally do this with design. We recently did some website stuff together, some website, design stuff together. We'll get on share screens and just sort of work through things together, and it's so much fun to collaborate in that way. To see what comes out of it in that way. Because again that like finished product is better than it would be if we had separated it and said, Kathleen, you do content, I'll do and we'll put it together. Sometimes it ends up looking like a bit of a Frankenstein project. However, when we're both able to dive in there together, it all comes together in a beautiful way yet because not only is it clarifying, like you're like, oh, well, I was watching this for design and I'm like, oh, yeah. Okay. Let me knock that out. And then what if this, you know, moved around the website like this. I mean, I think that what happens whenever we brainstorm together, we're collaborating in real time together. Is that separately? I would have my ideas separately. You would have your ideas and out worse. There's a disconnect, like there's a disconnect between my ideas and your ideas, and we're working so fast that we're not on the same page and that has definitely happened before. And this has happened with our team as well. Whereas together we're able to one get on the same page and then to like. I've got my ideas. You've got your ideas. We start riffing on them, and then this like magical third idea comes up like this energy between the two of us that we would have never come to on our own is able to be born out of us just simply getting on zoom and chatting it out together. Right? So it's as simple as that, like I'm talking about it being magical and it kind of is, but at the same time, it's just very practically talking through like processing it. Yes, and I won't talk a little bit about that active talking it through because again, it took us a while to get there. I want to talk about what that sort of feels and looks like in that one, no idea stupid unless there's a stupid idea and then you laugh about it together, which totally happens. But like you simply speak the ideas. I think neither of us come to the table filling timid or embarrassed or like an idea isn't good enough to be shared. We share all the idea's good and bad and ridiculous and everywhere in between. So I think there is this like openness. And therefore trust that has to be there in order to really share ideas in that way. I also think we're both really good at questioning ideas. So let's say, you know, I come to the table with an idea. You don't quite see you where I'm coming from an incident of shooting down. You'll ask for further clarification, and then we go down that road and see if it works or if it doesn't. And there is no fear and asking those questions either on either side..

"Interested is Travis Brown, and he can be found at podcast buddy dot co, and he's just awesome. Right, right. So we've noticed that there are many, many health coaches wellness business owners that are introverts, and we thought that this would be a really interesting topic to dive into here on the podcast. "I think it's enjoying the process ally. I mean, really wanting to get everything done all the time and like being the puppet master, whatever leaves me just really sort of like driving at home all the time. It's like you see the invision and you wanna be there. Yes. I was actually just having conversation with David yesterday about this where I do have a really hard time sometimes seeing the cycles where I just wanna start something finish it and be done where. And I have a really hard time dealing with the fact of while I'm finishing that thing, three more things are going to start that will also have indicates that will only mean more beginning dates like the cyclical nature of creating. The thing is really difficult for me because I want to get it done, but it's it's never done. Yeah, that is super difficult for me, but also trusting other people to help me make it do. It's hard as well. All right. So what are some habit. That you went to practice as get shit done CO. One of the things I have to focus on a lie is taking care of myself of like again, just driving it so hard all the time and he depaz a lot and remember that if I'm not healthy and happy than neither is anything that I'm doing. Okay. I think that's something that would be so helpful for you because I've seen you like get into this place where you are all work and not enough play as much as we talk about boundaries and all the things. I think that like you, you're good at sitting on your porch and you're good at making your meals. You're good at gardening. I mean, you're good at like mandatory lazy days, like that kind of stuff. Yes. But I feel like whenever it comes to the other things that you wanna do like yoga or hitting a sauna, I remember a few weeks ago you were real like, I don't know, not feeling well, and I was like, I think you need to go sweat it out in Asana. And every time I say Asana, I think of the project management for we are talking about the cedar boxes. You sit in that are really hot and you let you sweat in the literal sauna. Or as people appear Saana up, nor do they. Yeah, sound to anyway, I think that you need to time block those out for yourself like those times to do those things of self care. I agree. I completely agree with that. We've not some training on time blocking. Right. What is it? Yes, people going boss, dot clubs, slash time if he'd like to know how it is that Kathleen tonight time Walker calendars to get all the things done, including going to the sound. Celena senior time block that out. Okay. So what else do you wanna talk about with getting shit done CEO. I think we're good. I think thinking back on some things that really helped me sort of a line and get all the things done that I need to get done. It's for me creating some hardcore boundaries around things like my office hours. Like if I didn't have them, I would work all the time all the time. So for me, setting office hours like we all talk about nine to five, but I have a nine to five. Like being boss is a nine to five, because if I didn't, it would be a nine two, nine, two nine..
