President Biden's talks with West Virginia Senator Shelley Moore Capito about a bipartisan infrastructure bill appeared to be over, Senator Capito said she spoke with the president and he told her he was ending the negotiations. But the White House says the president is still pursuing a bipartisan deal. He's talking to Republicans who are part of a bipartisan group. We're trying to put together an infrastructure package. That group includes Republicans Mitt Romney and Rob Portman and Democrats Joe Mansion in Kirsten cinema. Biden is also keeping in touch with Democratic leaders in Congress who are working on a parallel track, preparing infrastructure legislation that might be able to get through the Senate with just 50 Democratic votes. The White House continues to insist that there are many paths to an infrastructure deal, but at least so far, they don't have the votes to succeed on any of them. With all the information in front of them because they are still waiting for a few key legal documents. On his financial records. Does he have, like different law firms handling different cases? Is someone person in charge of all this litigation defending him? That's a good question. Well, when you think about that, you think of specifically Rudy Giuliani, who has been unbelievably loyal to the president over the past four years. So what I will say we don't know exactly what's going on there. We didn't see in the last round of campaign documents that had to be officially filed with the federal election campaign. As of the end of, um Believe the end of November So we don't know if those bill just haven't come to yet or if we will see something that in the next round of campaign documents that are due to be published at the end of this month. Cory Booker releases "classified confidential" documents during Kavanaugh hearing
"I'm old enough to remember when this dude was considered a moderate. He was considered a guy who's going to reach across the aisle and make friends. Now turns out that Cory Booker really is just a weird muppet Cory Booker as I say he calls himself Spartacus why? Because he decided today that he was going to violate the rules of the Senate by simply releasing a bunch of classified documents. Now, the way this works is that there are a bunch of documents that are shown to the various senators on the judiciary committee that are held closely by executive privilege, if you're working for the Bush administration, the Bush administration has the right to say that the legislative branch does not get to see things because that is executive privilege. It is the the executive is not subject to the dictates of legislature. So the legislature can't say we want every document everything Bush ever said to all of his all his advocates. We want all of that in front of us. Now, that's not a thing in constitutional jurisprudence. So there's basically a deal that was made with the Senate Judiciary committee, which is they get to see all these cabinet documents on the condition that they are not asked about publicly. So so it can decide the votes of the people on the committee, but it is not meant to it is not meant to undercut the executive power. Cory Booker being a grandstanding idiot. He decides you know, what is a great idea. I'm just going to release these documents. I'm just going to come out and release these documents violate Senate rules. I'm just gonna stated up front, and then if you wanna if you want to expel me from the center for violation of Senate rules, if you want to place place if you want to expel from the Senate.
