"Clark rita's moment. Spoofing is an ability that criminals have now to make caller ID on your cell phone say anything, and that has been at the heart of the IRS scams and the social security scams where in your caller ID. It will say that you have a call coming from the IRS, and it will show a number. There's an actual real are s-, number or social security same thing. And so you're thinking, wow, call from the IRS I probably need to answer that. Well, let me let me give you the facts the calls not coming from the IRS calls coming from Karuk. It's almost never unless you're actively engaged in an ongoing conversation with the IRS. They're not calling. You no matter what the crook says on the phone. Well, now, speaking of crooks. The latest scam that you need to be aware of with spoofing is where the call appears to be coming from law enforcement could be the FBI could be a local sheriff's department could be a local police department. And you're like, oh, why is the sheriff calling my number, and they know what share of number and caller ID to pop up for the area code that your phone is at and they're calling and so you're thinking, wow. I better answer. This what what could be going on could somebody have been in Iraq? What's the deal at the answer? And then someone impersonating the please share of a DA whatever will tell you a big fat lie. A warrant has been issued for your arrest. Now, let me tell you that an attention getter when somebody says a warrant has been issued for your arrest. And there are many reasons why legitimately even if you're a law abiding citizen case of mistaken identity criminal giving false ideas. If there you there are legitimate ways that someone who is not committing a crime ends up coming into the crosshairs of law enforcement. But that's not what I'm talking about. Here. I'm talking about where the crooks call you for tending there from the police the sheriff, the DA, the FBI, whatever. And you're in trouble. You're about to be arrested, and you can pay the fine you owe right now. Now, all kinds of words should be coming up in your head. Right. When that happens like this. If you ever get that Cole. I like that..

But if you want to protect yourself the best you can now buy routinely wallets for men and women that have RFID protection or you can even add. The dollar stores. You can buy Woodhull reusable RFID protectors that you put around your cards, and that way, there's no signal that emanates that a criminal can grab out of thin air. But the reason for this is because what we're doing right now. May have reduced the amount of on site fraud on credit cards now the fries move very heavily to online where we don't have the chips in place, but it has slow everything down and for the credit card companies are racing each other to get these contactless cards in people's hands. And that and so I'm trying to find a way to invest in that industry because it seems like it's getting more and more proof throughout the country medical marijuana. And all this stuff. Well, the CBD is approved almost everywhere in the country at this point. And it just so people know. Because a lot of people. There's a lot of misinformation about this or lack of understanding you're not trying to get your pet high. You don't get high stuff. Not at all. I just think we need to get that out there because there is so much misunderstanding. And then you have a lot of states where marijuana that is about getting high is legal as well. As the products that are medicinal and people get really confused. What it all means? So I will tell you that there's a huge rush on that to me is kind of like the eighteen forty nine California gold rush. Everybody thinks there's gold in them are hills. And there there's going to be a big business in various forms of marijuana hemp and the rest, but it's going to be impossible today impossible to figure out where the smartest places are to invest in these markets. Because we're in a we're in a time that is the gold rush kinda time, and even though it's going to end up being significantly sized market. There was just a report that California is bringing in far less tax revenue than they thought. They would. And you're not gonna believe one of the reasons speculated as to why did you take a guess it's that a lot of people have decided it's better to stay underground than to come above and beyond the legal market. Taxes and the rest. Yeah. So it's just too hard. To invest in this market place right now. Because it would be really speculative because it's just not at all clear who the winners and losers are going to be. So unless you're in finding unless somebody who likes to go to casinos and likes the high risk kind of high roller kind of thing. I would say let this market have some time to mature and settled down. And then they'll be clearer who the players are going to be that are going to have real staying power. Right. "Processing that's occurring with chip cards. You know, how the cards now of the chip in them. Well, the banking industry in the state uses such obsolete platforms to process credit cards because our credit card is not like our banking industry. This one time our banking industry. Just it wasn't because they were being stupid or anything is because they were early and the credit card infrastructure in the United States happen way before it did elsewhere in the world, and so the data networks and the behind the scenes processing of credit cards in the United States is far more difficult far slower than it is most of the rest of the world. And so it's gumming up the works. So the banks are trying to get you instead to use one of the contactless cards that so many places you go, you can just tap them. And in a fraction of the time of using a chip card and waiting for a provable for it. But they spread that all around campus. Everybody eats off the backs of the football and basketball players, and we're sitting here in two thousand eighteen when everybody Walter Byers invented this system. Everybody knows his corrupt and unfair and people are going to jail for this. And no one is okay. Let's get this. Correct. Let's get this clear. The people who are going to jail weren't pure in tension. It doesn't less Karuk. It doesn't own that.
