"No, oh, okay. No. What do you got for me? No, no, no, you talked about Baker Mayfield and how there's no similar mindset in terms of his value to the point spread. We talk at great lengths, and I've had it drummed into my head. You've have as well. And I know a lot of our listeners who don't have access to the same resources. Take what they hear from the experts out there and try and incorporate that into their handicapping process that no skill position players in the league for the most part. You know, are worth more than two points to the number. Christian McCaffrey being in a class unto himself as we've seen from Carolina offensively. But I do want to ask when you look at this Cleveland offense and it's a very limited sample size. You have to be careful trying to extrapolate too much from it. The browns have been a proficient ground game with Nick Chubb. One of the best in the league, they've made a commitment there. I know strength to schedule an opponent's factor into it. But the browns have only averaged 91 rushing yards per game in less than four yards per carry with zero rushing touchdowns in the 5 games without Nick Chubb since the start of last year, we saw some of that last week to Cleveland didn't even want to commit to the ground game, because Stefanski was too worried about overusing Kareem hunt. Now I know hunt ultimately gets hurt. But the browns couldn't even get on track because they were down two scores because they were so steadfast in their belief that they didn't want to overtax their ground game. Everything you said seems to be spot on accurate. Listen last week was a little bit different of a situation. You get down 20 to nothing and suddenly the ground game goes out the window. My understanding was that Kareem hunt was always going to play last week. But if you followed the injury report, he was quite limited throughout the week and was always going to be on a pitch count so to speak. And ultimately, that lingering injury led to a larger injury. And now he's going to be out a substantial time. Prior to last week, though, there were some efficiency metrics that indicated that Kareem hunt was actually playing better than Nick Chubb was. It's really that dual headed monster in that we can hit the opposing defense when their dog tired with a fresh back at any point. Like Chubb is coming in and pounding you and then Kareem hunt comes in, and he's a 100% fresh and you've been on the field for 7 or 8 snaps already as a defensive line. And there is that great rapport between the two backs. I believe there was a segment on one of the NFL programs where Nick Chubb is relinquishing his role towards the latter part of that game. I believe it was the Chicago game where he's like, man, they got me locked up, but you're going ham, finish this game. And so there is that dual headed monster look, but now you also are throwing in the element of both tackles around. The offense just has an operated at the level we thought it would for a number of reasons. The tackle situation has been touch and go all season. Wills and Conklin have been playing through injuries. They've missed time. Chubb wasn't as efficient early on in the season. Baker Mayfield, not performing up to expectation and when that happens defenses are just going to clog the box and make Baker Mayfield beat him, and he was also playing through injury. And so that's really been the culmination of what's gone, right? So all of a sudden you have a beat up line that can't enforce their will. You have a quarterback that is not creating space for the ground game because he hasn't been a threat to throw it, and that's partly because he's been bad. He's been injured and his favorite weapon in Jarvis Landry is also mistime. OBJ hasn't been that deep downfield threat they thought he was. So it's really a lot of things transpiring here that hasn't allowed Cleveland's offense to necessarily get off the ground. Makes it makes a ton of sense. A team that when you looked at some of their roster moves, had a high expectations coming into the year. You obviously can't forecast injuries. I just always think it's fascinating when we talked about their suggesting a regression was in store for the browns. I don't think anybody anticipated it'd be because they couldn't feel the healthy starting 22 by week 7. So we'll see exactly what we got out of them tonight. And if the Broncos can rebound on the midst of a three game losing streak, 5 games broken down, we tried to make a little bit of chicken salad on a chicken shit for an NFL week that doesn't offer all of that much from an intrigue or viewership standpoint. But pain there is one final order of business, as you know, we head towards the weekend. What have you identified for an investable opportunity on the pro football slate? There really is not a lot here as we've made mention numerous times as we've had an unbiased third party in John kind of iterate the same thing. But a game that we feel is off that we made to and yes, this team has been our kryptonite over the years on this one. Oh, you're not gonna do it are you? Is rotation number four 65, the Philadelphia Eagles plus the three. We made the game too. We just got noticed that Dallas Goddard will be up for this game. And I think that goes a long way. You have extra rest, you have extra prep. And I think they're going to be able to do some things offensively. When we see where the Raiders are a little bit deficient, I think there's going to be some deep passes here that the eagles are able to execute. We've seen the Raiders struggle to stop the run a little bit, although they'll get I believe some reinforcements back along the interior of the line and hankins this week. On the flip side, the things the eagles do well and really when you want to back them is when they're defensive line has a distinct advantage. Because that is the best unit I still believe on the team. And that is an area where they were going to be able to have a large advantage over the Raiders interior line. We've talked about javon hargrave. We've talked about Fletcher Cox. They should own the interior of this raiders offensive line. And I think that allows them to get pressure and make Derek Carr a little bit uncomfortable. And the other matchup here that we've seen with Jonathan gannon is a guy that does not want to give up explosive place. And that is really what the Raiders offense has lived on is explosive play. So if you can limit those, if you can force the Raiders inefficient run game to hand the ball off a little bit more, I think that's the recipe. So there's value in the number. I think the matchup is pretty good. And there just isn't a lot of other stuff on the board. I will say this and I will do this once and only once unless I believe you guys are still tuning in on Monday night. But the under first half in the Seahawks game is one we also bet. But if I notice Monday listenership decreased because I've given out that nugget, I'll never give out another Monday night nugget on a Thursday podcast again. That's kind of what I'm thinking here. We bet the first half under and sea ox at 21 and a half. There's still a couple lingering 21 and a half. So I think it's playable down to 21 as well. I think that Democrats are going to have a big problem in a couple of ways.

I don't think you can just bounce from one coordinated with new coordinator in everything operates the same. I don't think so so lovey was coordinated for me. Larry maher may who is a very much head coach and longtime coordinator league and just that outstanding coach and he came in and hard to change was very very hard because they were so attached to love. "Right. you know. Dan sorenson might be one of the best defensive players on the giants so it comes in waves. Dan sorenson has always been a weird case. 'cause fans if either thought he was way up here like he was just as phenomenal safety always clutch right player right time and other fans always thought that he was horrible and not not fast enough. Couldn't guard people constantly getting burnt. When i think he's just he is what he is. He's a very good backup if he's starting you're like okay. Maybe not our first choice. But he's fine. You know been neiman kind of the same way i you know. I don't think benjamin by any means a some study. i don't think he is but he's also not this horrible player. he's okay. He's one of those guys that you need because not everyone on your roster is going to be approval not everyone's going to be able to get paid ten million dollars to be aback. I think we do need to have some more appreciation for some his unsung guys who are thrust into these roles that otherwise they wouldn't be an even dan sorenson probably wouldn't play as much if one tornado wasn't coming back from injury. I mean these are all aspects are tasked with jobs that they originally their contracts were set up to be totally till yeah. I'm i'm until agreement with you. I think look really solid for most a game for part of the time out there. He looked like the best linebacker on the field. Zoo guy i get it. Maybe my eyes or little bit blinded by that but he looked really good. Seven tackles against two of the most physical running backs in the nfl. He does need to work a little bit on his pass coverage but he wasn't known for that mizzou. What's going gonna take. Time is at a new level as long as he wraps up which he did. I'm happy Lammens was great and special teams. My goodness at each show up one thornhill. That was a tired. Matthew play got his hand in there. Perfect defense no pass. Interference gets his hand. Matthew was out this game so we only got four. But if you're thinking what does it take to go over the top in the nfl. The browns have a loaded roster top to bottom right like they're they're a great team but when you have those guys like the guys better than all the other guys right like you were talking like chris. Jones is on. That list comes up huge mahomes kelsey like like all the guys who put the chiefs like who will achieve to the opening win. Were all those guys who were like on that list. It's like in a game filled with ille- athletes having the best is what puts you over the top and it makes me appreciate the job that brett beach does to go. Yeah i'm not just gonna try to fill this hole. I'm gonna go out swinging and you see a game like this and you think. Oh yeah this is. Why each always goes for the best of the best of the best at these positions. Because that's what it really takes to win like the big games in the nfl. Yeah baker mayfield was very good. Pat holmes was the best jarvis landry. Very good tyree kill was the best david yoku very good. I'll touch more on him later. Travis kelsey was the best. Brown's kept trying to hang their hat on. Well one to fifty three or say to fifty three. Outside of patrick mahomes the roster was better. And i go did travis kelsey all of a sudden no longer achieve as tyreek hill. No longer chief and again no tire and matthew so obviously there myles garrett chris jones you know both you can say comparable chris. Jones had himself a ridiculous game especially late myles garrett to his credit also had five pressures against a very good tackle in orlando brown junior. But that she's just had too much top end elite talent when it mattered. Who was getting open. Tyree kill travis. Kelsey mahomes always seems to be one step faster than ever is chasing him. It just doesn't get it doesn't get tired watching these. Three guys do what they do. I know it's early in their careers. You can't say to the best trio of all time but are the most explosive. If this continues would they be the best trio of all time. Because it just seems travis. Kelsey gets open whenever he wants to tyreek hill gets open downfield. Whenever he wants to mahomes makes throws that legitimately no one else in the nfl can even dream of.

Is drafting him as a number two quarterback on your team know for a to cuban league. I definitely love to have him as my number two. Just because there's so many weapons around him. I like year two in the system. Now with kevin fancy. I think that he's going to be even better. The offensive line was top three in the nfl last year. According to pro football focus so i think the combination of all that baker is going to be really good and i think his fantasy stock is going to be up this year. So i think you know if you're looking for a qb. I think somebody should definitely take into consideration. I think. Nick chubb is a top five running back and fantasy this year and i think it's hard to say that because a kareem hunt you know and then having a split carries but you know i think nick trump played in all sixteen games last year. You know he would have had the most fantasy points he's had since entering the league back in two thousand eighteen twenty one thousand nine hundred two hundred nineteen point two fantasy points in sixteen games in twenty twenty in only twelve games. He one hundred ninety one point seven fantasy points and if he played in every game he would had more than what he had in two thousand nineteen. I think that safe to say that. And he averaged sixteen vanc- points per game and some of his best games we to against the bengals twenty five point three points against washington week. Three twenty three points eighteen point six against houston and week. Ten twenty. Three point six against jacksonville in week. Twelve twenty two point three points against the ravens in week fourteen. Sixteen point eight points against the week. Seventeen a lot of great games. You know for next job and he was very consistent. That's the one thing that i think makes an extra very valuable is that he's very consistent. You know he really doesn't have any bad games. And i think that as long as he stays healthy he's going to be really good and i think if you have a top five pick. I think you should definitely consider taking nick job. So moving onto kareem hunt. I think kareem hunt is a solid number two running back or solid flex option yet. One hundred eighty fantasy points last year played in all sixteen games. He had eight hundred. Forty one rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns any at five receiving touchdowns tweet eleven total touchdowns last year and some of his best games came in week to cincinnati. Twenty two point one fantasy points. He had twelve point four against washington in week. Three had nineteen point one against dallas. Four fifteen point three against indianapolis from week five sixteen point two against the bengals in week seven. Thirteen point against houston. We ten twenty three against the ravens in week. Fourteen and eleven point two against the jets in week sixteen so he was really nice. Filling in for nick on show was out. But i mean some of these games that trump was playing it. I mean they both had a lot of points and that is with them splitting carries. And it's incredible. You know. I mean th. They're able to make it work in cleveland. Which is incredible. It's probably you know between him and miles gasket as of right now You probably give the nod to gaskin but You know. I think most people would give the not to gaskin. But i don't know. I i feel like damian. Harris could be the best one. So that's my rankings. For the afc so moving on now to the afc north In last i have harris. Now this is not a knock on ninety harris as a player. This is what's going on around him. The steelers offensive line wasn't good last year. You know basically towards the end of last year you know and the steelers really were one of the worst teams running the football last year. And i got to see what their offensive line is like. If they're offensive line is good this year. Then you know what the harris is going to go up a little bit in the running back rankings. But i think as of right now. I'd probably have him last. Just because of the question marks at the offensive line for the steelers they did address some of it in the draft But i have to see how they actually play once we get to the preseason and and the regular season then in third i have jk dobbins honestly going from the afc east to the sorry to the afc north. You know the running backs are loaded in this division and you know it is kinda hard to pick and choose. I think number one was probably the easiest to pick. And i'll get to that in a little bit but Jacob dobbins he's going to be the number one running back in baltimore I think he's gonna have a good season. You know the ravens day off to run the football and that's what's gonna make his value go up this year and especially because now. He did marking rooms. Not there i think that's going to increase his value more You know. I could definitely see him having a really good season. I think he's a solid number two running back. I would say borderline number one. But i feel more comfortable saying. He's number two running back when it comes to the fantasy. Then you got joe mixon at two in. Afc north. this guy was really good In the previous two seasons before twenty twenty when he dealt with an ankle injury. Who's banged up the whole year. You know. I think he can ever really good season. It's just we got to see how the bengals offensive line is of the bengals offensive. Line's not good. You know there's going to be problems. And hopefully he stays healthy because he could be a dynamic playmaker for this offense. He's a borderline number one. fantasy running back i again another solid Number two but definitely if you album has an running back. That's not too bad either. Just got to stay healthy. And then of course you have nick chub and kareem hunt number one Nick shaab yet. He had an injury last year in week. Four missed a couple of games but he was fantastic last year. You know and the fact that the browns are able to balance you know. Nick chub and kareem hunt and get them their respective stats is very impressive. The best one two punch in the nfl in terms of running backs. You know. i i think. Nick chubb is a solid number running back. I had him last year. Kareem hunt you know. He can be a solid number. Two solid flex option. You know but. I think when it comes to nick chub. He's probably the best running back out of the running back. So they just named. And i think nick chubb. His stock is going to go up this year. I think he's a top-five fantasy pick You know that's a little controversial. But i think he could do that. Even with splitting time with kareem hunt. Because i think the browns are able to do it. Well enough that nick chubb gets his points even with swimming time with kareem on so that's my ranking of the afc north running backs then moving onto the afc south coming in last. You got philip. Lindsey mark ingram dave johnson. I mean the texans are a mess you know. I talk about pretty much on every show. You know their mess We don't really know who the lead running back is going to be. I mean i guess. It's going to be philip lindsay. You know because. I think david johnson was okay last year. But you know what i think. Lindsay's the younger running back. You know. And i i think he's probably gonna get the bulk of the carries in know but overall it's just a loaded backfield. I mean you got all these three guys in there. They were all good fantasy options at some point in their career. But you know i. I don't really know what to expect from them. But i think it's gonna be pretty bad for them so i i don't really expect anybody draft any of these guys you know unless it's in the later rounds I'm not really high on marketing. I think marking room is probably going to be the guy that gets the least amount of kerry's You know somebody if it's not marking somebody's definitely gonna fade out really. Just be the forgotten man in this loaded backfield. I mean if you look at this. Backfield was from twenty sixteen. Because i had mark ingram and david johnson on my team in two thousand sixteen and i won that league that year. You know but now it's twenty twenty one you know. These guys are not what they were. You know back in philip lindsay. You know he's still got a a solid career ahead of hopefully But these guys you know. They're not what they once were. So i don't really have a lot of faith in this In this running back situation the fantasy value very low When it comes to these guys then moving on you got james robinson carlos now i didn't include tribes atm because now they seem to be trying him out at wide receiver jaguars and that kind of changes my opinion on the running back situation because they put a t n now wide receiver. You know. now that gives james robinson and increased fantasy value again Carlos hyde is probably going to be somebody that is on the waiver wire You know. Because i think james robinson is gonna get the bulk of the carries but know injuries happen. Caro side could be a guy Hot waiver wire pickup because he was that last year when chris carson got hurt when he was playing for the seahawks. So then moving on. Jonathan taylor you know i rant and rave about this guy Really had a solid second half of the season when he was deemed the lead running back in indianapolis. He runs behind very talented offensive line. I think now a full year as being the number one back in indianapolis. He's going to be a top fantasy option I could definitely see him. Maybe going towards the end of the first round. I think he's definitely a second round. Pick if not a second round third round pick. I think he's going to be really solid this year and then of course she got derrick henry At number one. I mean he's going to be a top three pick again this year. You gotta worry about you know like. I've talked about the playoff performance. He had against the ravens. That's something to be concerned about. But i think he's going to be solid again And like. I always say with all these guys. These stay healthy. They're going to be solid That guy's a bowling ball. You know he's hard to take down he's gonna have one of those two hundred yard rushing games once again You know he's going be he's going to have another solid season and then moving on finally to the afc west so in last. I have melvin gordon. You know he was okay last year. For the broncos didn't really do anything that amazing that impressive but you know he did have a couple of good games. He did have the game against the jets. He at twenty three points but yes it was the jets but who cares. It's fantasy had twenty points against the bills and we fifteen. You know. he wasn't what he wasn't what he was with the chargers when he was like a top five running back you know so i probably put him in last Then moving on. You've got josh jacobs you know talking to some people. They weren't really happy with what josh jacobs did. Last year He played in fifteen games at one hundred ninety fancy points. We increased the amount of games. He played because he only played in thirteen in twenty nineteen and yet under seventy-one fantasy points in two thousand nineteen so you know he increasing amount of.

Do you hire some type of thing like that? In have resources to go and pay for those. Videos for your investigations, I but see that's the thing is man you want to know. So many things because look you're investigating. You're you're paying up, and I feel like TMZ would end up, you know, almost like extortion. Yes. Yeah. Eight they know exactly how much the NFL's worth information is a commodity for any in especially valuable information. And at the end of the day, what the NFL needs to know is what really happened. But to obtain a copy of a video, look, I think they can probably find, you know, between the owners, and whoever the hell is going to be in charge of of facilitating that I think that they can come up with a number of the the bottom line is they need to know what happened in the fact that there was a video of this incident and never mind. And I mean, it's bad enough that this happened know in any way, shape or form the fact that it happened just a couple of days after Ruben foster that to me is kind of fishy to now all the sudden and we're getting near playoff time in the chiefs are potentially in a position to win the Super Bowl. There was a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes man, this thing just stinks all high. Hell no, it just sucks, and, you know, starting with the domestic violence to the cover up to the, you know, the distribution of the video to the new police cars at the Cleveland police officers are driving and all that stuff. It's it's it's all shady shady. So following an internal review. It was determined that in February a member of the Cleveland division of police provided a report you'll appreciate you trying to do some serious here. You don't mind felt house? Doing it for felony baby. All right now. So I'll start over following an internal review is determined that in February a member of the Cleveland police provided a copy of that police report, including the assault incident at the nine which was the hotel to the National Football League. And of course, they didn't go through the official publics public records request process. Now, if you go through that process, officially then it's known that the NFL is petitioning to get that information. Because I I gotta think look the police reports one thing like if you know, there's video of it. I don't need the police report. And that's the other thing that just begs the question. Okay. There's this video like, yeah. The charges were dropped. Why why were the charges dropped? They don't do anything for misdemeanor. It wasn't. It was not a felon. It was not charges a felony. You should have been. No, okay. Yeah. No. I mean any of that stuff? Should right? No doubt. Whether or not whatever it should be a felony. But it was filed under as a misdemeanor, which they don't do stuff you're going, wait what? Yeah. That's just shadiest number one. The fact that I don't care how hard he kicked. Her didn't kick her. You know what I mean? Like that was a felony the moment that right? She's dazed. She's she's laying on the ground days has has just gotten to the point where she sitting up. She's not even standing it. And he tried to kick her in the face. I mean, whether you connected or not I mean, thank God. He didn't he barely grazed or but not the point. You know, in the fact that she was on the ground is because you knock that dude indoor. And I know that I, you know, I don't know that he did that on purpose. But I guarantee you he didn't care if she got knocked down. Clearly, he was intent on doing her harm, hence the shove and then later kicking her. So let me ask you this this Kareem hunt play in the NFL again. Yes. Yeah. I think so too. I think he's young enough. Yeah. That's why Ray rice didn't play again because he was done. He was already at the end of his career. Well, yeah. And hit what he did on video, right? I feel like a complete ass for even having compare that. You're right though. It's true world. It's almost even more shocking because this is supposed to be somebody that you love and care about still married, right? That's what I'm saying. You're in a partnership to protect the whereas opposed to somebody just being a complete stranger that you had a disagreement with what you can. I think I think there's got to be a lot of answers. A lot of questions answered by Kareem hunt and not verbally by actions right in how. Have you address certain things? How have you gone about counseling? How you know if he's out all next year, then good for him. Yeah. Because then it maybe his message is being passed. You know, you know from from team to team. I just see. He's too young and talented and we've discussed talent over all this crap. Sure. I think it's going to end up being that he's gonna play and the other part of it too is I thought that the Lisa Saulters sit down that was way too soon for me. It was like it was just so, but it's so soon it's so perfect for Lisa Saulters to get it all, of course. But even though they made they went out of their way to say, you heard her in the interview say you requested this interview. So that was Kareem hunt reaching out to them saying how I wanna get a message out. And I felt like it was total damage control one. Oh one. He's just trying to me. Then who was it? Right. Yeah. But no, my man, there's a connect there because that was you, and that's why you're not employed by the Kansas City Chiefs anymore, and that but see that's the one thing that I feel very comfortable saying that is you that is your character. I lost my job in the NFL. It's poor victim of my heinous assault. And the fact that I don't have a job in the NFL is the right thing because I was way out of line. I felt like he was trying to do some like PR. Reparation campaign, and I just felt like it was so ill time. And when she asked him directly about what happened. He just basically iterative that he didn't matter. What happened? And it's like, no, dude. It absolutely matters. What happened? That's why we're all year right now.
