"Where the two -year Treasury now is at 472. Curiously, we were down in yields across the curve in the New York session. A lot of focus on what Fed Chair Jay Powell had to say at that ECB forum. He basically said that the Fed could hike for two straight meetings if necessary and he also downplayed the odds of a recession. So it underscores kind of a lot of the betting that we have been seeing creep into markets recently about this idea of soft landing. The 10 -year Treasury now at 371 and the dollar slightly weaker, not by much. We certainly were stronger in York the New session and the yen is building a little bit of strength here as well at 144 .25. We'll another take look at market action for you in about 15 minutes. That's your Bloomberg News and World Sports Update. Doug to you. All right. Thank you Danny. It seems like a day doesn't go by where we're addressing this revolution in artificial intelligence in the coming week. Yeah, the World AI Conference will get underway in Shanghai. This comes at a time when the Biden administration is planning to tighten export controls on sales of certain AI chips to China. What does it all mean for China's push into artificial intelligence? Let's take a closer look now with Vlad Savov, Bloomberg's tech editor who joins our us studios from in Hong Kong. Vlad, it's always a pleasure. Describe for me what we know of ambition right now as it relates to artificial intelligence. Good morning. China's ambition is comparable to the US. It is to take the lead. It is as simple as that. China sees AI very much the way that broadly the world sees it. It is a transformative technology. It's as a segment of technology. It's one that you have much more opportunity to to compete. There aren't these built -in advantages that you have with services like Google has, with internet services like Apple has with hardware, with ecosystem built around the iPhone. everybody is at the starting position at the moment. Therefore, China as the government is the nation and China as its private and commercial space is seeing a lot of opportunity there and it wants to capture Everyone's in the starting position as you described, but do some of the competitors here like have the inside lane or starting a few meters in front of the others? Well, yes. and one point to make is the US is absolutely in the lead when you think about companies like Google All of us have jumped on board with AI is the biggest deal in tech this year, but Google has been doing it for over a decade now. They've invested again the US more broadly. It has a wider ecosystem in terms of research, development, earlier investment. Alongside with Google you have Microsoft, which let's not forget Microsoft is the biggest backer of open AI which kick -started everything, but then within China you have Baidu, again is the search leader just like Google is a search leader outside of China, and it been has investing heavily in AI. Now we did do a big report. Our report is here in China and Hong Kong, speaking with academics, people from the private sector, and one of the things that they freely admitted is that they're let's say three years behind the US and the US competitors, but what they said is that because there is such an urge and an urgency about development within China, they don't expect it in three years to make up that ground. There are two issues that come to my mind. First, the potential for Beijing to come down with a very heavy hand. We saw what happened just on the issue of data collection alone, and the regulatory crackdown for a lot of the e -commerce companies, consumer -facing e commerce companies in China, and the other part of the story seems to be that unless you have access to types the of semiconductors

scheduled to kick off her celebration tour in Canada July 15th with the tour concluding in Mexico at the end of January let's take a look at global sports Arsenal today spending over 200 million US dollars they agreed to a deal for West Ham's Declan Rice in British pounds a hundred million pounds five million more in add -ons then with Chelsea they bring in Ford Kai Havertz in a deal worth sixty seven and a half million in pounds it looks like Atari group led by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is growing confident they will win the Manchester United bid to buy the club over British billionaire sir Jim Ratcliffe I'm Dan Schwartzman that your Bloomberg News and World Sports Update Ryan Dan thanks very much let's get to guest our Frederick Newman chief Asia economist co -head of global research Asia at HSBC Frederick great to have you with us in our studios let's talk about China first and what it might take to get consumption moving again we've had a few false dons here we had the revenge spend right after uh you know the the Covid zero policies were ditched and then we had some pretty good spending for a week or so in may with the mayday holiday but then that kind of petered out and then just now we've had the dragon boat festival and a little bit of a pickup there in spending for your own channel checks i'm sure the stuff that you're looking at is informing you might we see a pickup uh further still not immediate years things look still pretty soft we're just at the dragon boat festival and you actually see people traveling but they're spending less than they usually do so there's still some caution now it's not that people don't have money necessarily it's a saving rate it's very high there's this underlying caution and it's hard to see a magic bullet right you need to kind of kind of groom confidence back up and and that will take some time yeah it's something that we talked about a little bit earlier doug and i about not only are are the consumers cautious but also the policymakers are a little cautious and one of the issues there is this kind of notion of japanification and that's something that we we saw we had in one of our columns a closer look at richard ku who talked a lot about this and how it might drive behavior in china and one of the things things that he said was to get out of this was uh forget about monetary policy or structural reforms forms right now he was saying that they really need to push the policy makers really need to push fiscal reforms and to make sure at all cost at any cost that all the unfinished housing projects get finished uh getting at that sort of confidence level um your own thoughts on how to get things moving again fiscal policy is certainly the way to go here just cutting interest rates in the economy nobody wants to spend doesn't really help and it's something that japan saw probably 1990s so you want to come in with much more fiscal stimulus and china probably shouldn't worry too much about central government debt levels at this point uh they can still afford to kind of add a bit more stimulus to the economy much more dangerous would be not doing enough and then this sort of deflationary mindset really get hold and so yes uh having a big bazooka stimulus coming in getting the economy moving again but it's not just about fiscal stimulus you also need reforms structural otherwise we're going to be at same position in a year from now okay we'll talk about that in a moment but let's go go back to fiscal stimulus what's the best form of that one is just to provide more funding to local governments who really do the bulk of expenditure right now eighty percent of infrastructure spending is done by my local governments and they have debt constraints not at all of them but but most of them and so giving a them bit more means to spend right now so rather than curtail spending give them allow them to borrow more allow give them more grants in order to for that type of spending to pick up again I think one of the issues with true reform is it it takes some time and they have a more acute crisis at the moment that they want to get at but if you're right that they should do more structural reform what form does that take why is you can't do one without the other you need to do both essentially to fix a short -term issue with stimulus medium -term issues with structural reforms here and you'd look at bringing in strengthening the pension system strengthen the social security system to encourage people to save less for example we need to probably put local governments on the sounder of fiscal footing better revenue maybe hukou reform for example people can migrate to individual cities of the choosing so all of these are reforms to be very beneficial for the consumer sector in particular what about frictions in there like for instance fees and charges and some low -level taxes and things like that well well but we've been pruning those for many many years here and over the last ten years every year we prune these taxes and and and so forth it helps at the margin but that's not necessarily a structural reform per se we want to revive the animal spirits in china what about a lighter touch then on companies as a way to get feeling companies a bit more comfortable to innovate that's the other thing the private sector is investing less today than it was a year ago and what during the height of the lockdown the zero covid policy so and there seems to be lack of confidence among the private sector as well so sending signals that the private sector can expand has has legal certainty to do certain things i think that'd be very important to kind of have private sector investment confidence to japan now we heard from kazuo ueda the bank of japan governor yesterday and he was he had a kind of a light touch which was interesting uh... but he also talked about how they could moving be toward a change but he needs to see prices uh... you know change next year by next year has to have the indication that you know prices will be up and stay uh... next year will it happen uh... we think so actually there's still a long the line inflation momentum in pan and so there's a good argument to be made here that the big bank of japan still s as going to change why cc in the third quarter that is uh... there's still scope for a bit of change in look at how the yen depreciated of late is because as a locking down long and interest rates you need to allow more flexibility in long term rates and i think that's going to be the next step to come in the next few months we did store yesterday that uh... the uh... that that basically pan is not that concerned about if you look at companies and even the government they're they're not that concerned the moment about the weakness in

"And drug, but however you start. Yes. I agree. It was fantastic, but it's between them. There was somebody sent a question similar to their son. It was before we had to and draw back. And I went where to then. But I tell you what. Wasn't Stevie's makeup artist. You don't want anything to do. I don't think it's a debate. I think it's at all all day, every single day. I thought the debate was just the second. The second two. I have said this before. The best individual performance I've seen. I played against. What did your joke about? Okay. We played Chelsea. It's time for bridge. This is our best time. West Ham scored first. They had a man sent off and then did your job by just basically told the other 8 players you all stay back just launch it forward and I'll take it. And it was, it was the most unplayable performance I've seen from so many people. Yeah. Four times to be exact. We lost four one. To ten men. I agree with taco because sometimes you play against players, right? On their own, they can lead the line and I have to say that I could do that. But his own time, but he actually couldn't score as much as did I did, but did he have on his own? No one could be updated against him too. Mark again? Oh, the man had some strength, but echo was great my brother, when I got the ball. One against one. Final question. So Kai Havertz has been vocal about his admiration for donkeys. Oh, okay. "And it goes over the defender's head at dorm. And now coolie rally all he has to do is tap it in, baby. It's a tap in from my kind of range and somehow he manages to clear the ball backwards onto the path of your affiliates and that ball gets plugged you're thinking to yourself. I don't know if this is gonna happen. When Kai havers hits a shot straight into the ground, goes off the post, he feels like it's spinning and it's going into the back of the net and he goes out, you kind of go I don't think this is gonna happen. And to Greg's point, it wasn't gonna happen until Sterling mister chance. It was merely a swing and a miss, but it was ended up being the perfect touch for him to actually hit a volley that he didn't have to think about. He put it into the back of the net. And then you kind of felt, all right, now that pressure is a little bit off, perhaps this team takes a step forward in the second half, which they did. And there was no doubt it was a penalty that went and checked it on VAR. It was apparently handball by Mario's wall. And Kai havers had to make this dramatic because otherwise they wouldn't be Chelsea. Eventually he gets it right to nothing, well deserved from Chelsea. A lot of pressure in this performance and they answer the call. From one penalty taker to another Frank, how impressed was that second spot kick from Kai Havertz? It is impressive because you know, I don't know if I would have done that, you know, I think it would have said to another players to take it on. And well, you have to have some guts to say, okay, I missed the thing and I'm going to do it again. And I shot in the same shoot in the same place. Yeah, you need to have talent and you need to have guts and that was that was great. But can I say, finally, I found the Chelsea team playing the way I would love the football to be played, going forward, not trying to get the position, but just trying to get forward to go fastly forward.

"The show. Plus, of course, on the next one we're reflecting on Chelsea against Dortmund. So Graham Potter speaking ahead of that clash against Dorman, he was asked about Kai Havertz. He said, I think we have to attack better as a team, and that's my responsibility. It's too easy to zoom into individuals and blame them. It's a collective. We have to create more do better and that starts with me, helping the team get better chances, more chances because then I don't doubt the quality of the players, Graham Potter inevitably standing up, defending his players, Mario, as you would expect to manage it to do. But as much criticism as he's received, it's not his fault that Kai Havertz can't score one on one against Leeds at the weekend, is it? Oh no, I know, but that comes down to the individual. But away from that, you know, like he is putting him everything as a striker. Every time he is starting him as historian, I've been saying it for weeks now that gay average is ability is playing around the striker and then sometimes you can in the occasion you have to surprise moment like you play someone as a striker and then you can move around it incredible go to a Chelsea because it made them win certain trophies but away from that now it's almost like he's confident because now we're looking at actually how we're looking at the striker. What does a striker need to do in your team? He needs to catch a double digit. And if he doesn't get you that, you're going to point a finger at him and that's why he's getting that dose pointing fingers at him at the moment. Stevie, you were ran and raving about Chelsea. "Beneficial for the industry. I didn't stop rivian shares from dropping 11% in New York. That hurts if you're long the stock, it depends on your cost basis, I guess, right technically. Let's get to Brian Curtis looking at markets, Brian. Doug, thanks very much. I think the market is a little uneasy with what they got from the fed. But it may just be a short term adjustment. And here's what my thinking is on this. The market sometimes falls out of bed when it thinks the fed is kind of making a move for the wrong reasons. And so we'll be watching to see what happens with omicron because omicron is really spread more rapidly after this last meeting. And so we've seen this pretty rapid readjustment here with the NASDAQ down 3.3%. That's a pretty healthy sell off, 522 points. Long duration assets suffer when you have yields popping and we did get yields popping, the ten year was up over 1.70%, just under that now at one 69. If the market thinks that the fed is making a mistake in getting more aggressive at the very time that omicron is leading to shutdowns and lockdowns all around the world, then this could be a bigger sell off. If the market is just adjusting to three rate hikes instead of two, then we may see things stabilized. So don't forget that we were very close to record highs for U.S. stocks, even with the fed turning more hawkish and even with the tapering underway. So sets up as quite interesting. We got this news flash just in the last hour. That Macau will ban all passenger flights except those from China beginning January 9th and that'll last for 14 days till January 23rd. And this is to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and omicron, and so no doubt there will be an impact on some of the gaming license holders today. So we've watched the Hong Kong market. They trade, we have 6 of those. So we're watching see how they trade. Admittedly, most of the customers in Macau do come from China and not from outside coming in by flights, but still in all, it will mean slightly reduced business, and that's a look at markets. Juliet to you. Thank you very much, Brian. 35 minutes past the hour time for global news. Hong Kong imposing some strict virus controls for the first time in almost a year at Baxter has the details in San Francisco. Exactly right, Juliet had no dining after 6 closing some venues, including bars and gyms, Bloomberg Stephen engel in Hong Kong says this is to align basically with China's COVID zero policies. You know, Hong Kong is in a bit of a pickle because on a global scale, the Hong Kong's in pretty safe position. We did not really have much of a delta outbreak here. And because of course, Hong Kong has been adopting this COVID zero approach a similar to China, but on the flip side of that, it has a very low vaccination rate compared to other developed economies, about 62%. So essentially, one out of every three people here are not vaccinated and those who are vaccinated about half of them have the sinovac vaccine, which has been proven to be less potent against omicron. Now Hong Kong also stopping flights from an 8 countries for the next two weeks, Australia, Canada, France, India, Pakistan, Philippines, UK and U.S.. And we're getting headlines that have moved up on the Bloomberg terminal that China has fired Xian hospital staff and warrens of wrongdoing amid the lockdown. Prime minister Scott Morrison holding a news conference addressing a number of things today now Dan will have a details on Novak Djokovic in just a moment here, but the prime minister has said it's not about one person about Novak about that no person can come into the country without proof of full vaccination. He says it is a matter of COVID policy rules, as I say, Dan will have more coming up. Meanwhile, Morrison has said the signing of the treaty with Japan today is major. The landmark treaty that we will commit to today, the reciprocal axis agreement as it is known will usher in a new chapter in advanced defense cooperation between Australia and Japan to deal with a new and even more challenging environment, particularly within the indo Pacific. And the Morrison also during the day saying that the price gouging on COVID tests will not be tolerated. These are the same price gouging provisions that we put in place earlier in the pandemic for things like hoarding and supplying at price gouging rates on personal protection equipment and things of that nature. He says more than a 20% markup can be met with fines and even criminal charges. In the U.S., the case rate going up in a straight line, CDC director doctor Rochelle Walensky says it is omicron. Based on CDC genomic sequencing, we now estimate that omicron represents about 95% of cases in the country and delta represents the remaining 5% of the cases. CDC also gone ahead with Pfizer boosters for 12 to 7 year olds. And The White House is saying the security for the capital for tomorrow's anniversary of the January 6th insurrection attempt is very, very tight. The president will address the nation and spokeswoman Jen Psaki says the focus will be on Donald Trump. President Biden has been clear eyed about the threat, the former president represents our democracy and how the former president constantly works to undermine basic American values and rule of law. Yeah, sake says Trump motivated the mob to go to the capitol. In San Francisco, I met Baxter. This is Bloomberg. I think you Eddie, let's get to Dan Schwartzman as we look at global sports. Dano Djokovic, a 9 time winner and he may not even be able to play this year at the Aussie open. Mind-blowing indeed Doug, that is exactly the case after being held in a room in according to his father with two policemen outside not letting anybody in Novak Djokovic for those 12 or so hours has now been denied entry into Australia. He was flying in as he has gotten that medical exemption to play the Australian open, as you mentioned, he's a 9 time winner three straight years. He has won it. He's defending that title, but he's not going to be there as of now. This, of course, due to his vaccination status, Australian prime minister Scott Morrison had said that Djokovic must provide quote acceptable proof as to why he can not be vaccinated and if he can't do that, he's going to be sent home that it's apparently the case, Australian media reporting that the three time defending champions team had applied for the wrong type of Visa for an exemption. Djokovic's attorneys are expected to appeal the decision. Riley financial on the line from Fort Lauderdale from us for us excuse me You're saying we're presently caught in a bear trap we did see the S&P 500 into correction territory Does it enter a bear market and if so how long until we see that I think we are in a correction I think it depends very much on what's going to take place in Ukraine and how far mister Putin is going to push into the Ukraine I also think that's going to affect what the fed is going to do in terms of interest rates and that's going to have an effect on the economy and the markets and it's clear to me that a lot of the appreciation type stocks that don't have dividends or have little dividends or under some severe pressure with many of my clients I use a strategy using funds closed in funds and exchange traded funds I follow about 70 and they all beat the American inflation rate the way I calculate that is I take the CPI index and the PPI index and average them It's about 8.7% currently So if you're making either through appreciation or through income more than that you're ahead of the game and if you're making less than that you're behind the game and getting affected by the inflation rates Mark one of the things I'm curious about is a point raised by Esther George before that perhaps the fed could be a little more aggressive on reducing the balance sheet and a little less aggressive on raising rates I'm not sure exactly whether that would lessen the flattening of the yield curve But that's the idea Do you like that idea It's an interesting idea that the questions there are where on the yield curve would they sell bonds and what that would do to the entire yield curve as you pointed out the yield curve today flattened to some extent with short rates rising and the ten year and the longer bonds remaining about flat but it would be a guess on the part of the fed and how that would affect the market now that would affect borrowing costs for both the United States government and for corporations in America All of this weighing into what we're seeing with regards to inflationary pressures to a new rightly pointing out the energy picture pointing into this We've got Brent crude options set up for a post $100 surge How much further room do you see in these markets and I guess what is the negative impact on the U.S. economy here if we continue to see these inflationary pressures The inflationary pressures are especially in fuel oil electricity and gasoline are quite severe they're up over 40% I think President Biden has made it giant mistake and restricting our own internal United States oil and gas production and I think it's put us in a position from being energy independent a few.

That's right you because blue bleeds off throughout the united states and in fact you can tweet us at chelsea f c in usa using the hashtag. Hashtag see m. you mel bag. Here's a question for the group. How difficult is it going from. International duties to premier league and adding in champions league competition and such a short amount of time. I think it's very good question actually bryant because we touched on earlier did with much travel and so much change some of these plays but it's something that become accustomed to even the younger place and i mentioned mice amount. He grew up at the academy hair and nightline the competition the under nineteen by competition Youth league and that kind of mirrors the early fixture schedule in the champions league the men's team applying so for example if the mango to events the nineteenth So it gives them that experience really early on solid apple of when you've got a manager like thomas go who was managed the highest level coaching staff and the analysis team and everything. That's hey everyone.

"We i think we are now more a little bit more flexible. We have for example team. Movies like strike. Who always runs behind and always find the spaces and now we have another type of strike and nothing. It's just nice to have such a big squats so many good players. And i mean is he's one of the best drag us in the word and that means that says everything. I kinda wanna give you your first experience of hard hitting american journalism. Are you ready. i'm ready what is the emoji. You use most often the emoji with like laughing and smiling together. Yes do you do the twisted one or the one. that's a little more centered revealing answer. Oh yes yes. I like the other one more. But they're only use this because it's my on my side. The first one on the left convenience go is supposed to communicate because you travel so much. Don't you i mean domestically around europe. We've talked about the finals when you do get home. Is the first thing that you do when she returned from a successful trip asleep. I always arrive in the nights Normally i go to sleep with for example when we travel on the next day for example play on wednesday and thursday. I mean then you have maybe two or three days to to To recover good and then we play on sunday again. For example i mean two or three days between it between This game's not long so focuses just on recovery We normally have training them in the in the in the morning or the afternoon depends on when we come home. And then you do recovery stuff. I only like to to stay at home this time. I'm just chilling on the couch or in my gaming room place on playstation but of course A dog girlfriends and also like to spend time with them and For me this is the best time you know just to spend time with them Costa they give you other thoughts than football and when you have a bad game you you don't think about the game if think about when you have to figure your dog and i like this kind of stuff. We need a pop date update blue. He's not golden retrievers at eleven months sold has met any of the other chelsea up staff to be honest. "When we see cows lucky enough against the duties interview a year ago and at the end of it he tend to his agent. Look to What i shall. I interview in english while you absolutely nailed it. And that's improved as has his ability on the pitch as well Earning money at was you know you just said that he had such a lovely personality and i felt lake shown through so much in just having a conversation with him so down to earth despite all accomplish on the pitch so young we forget that i had fun chatting with him getting to know him and his chelsea career so far obviously some moments he remembers more than others certain goal but my favorite part was yacht. The stay till the ad we asked him to take us inside that chelsea locker room and he has some thoughts on the personalities there including who's very bad dj. Which i know you guys are going to have some thoughts on than thank you so much for sparing some time with us here to the and welcome. You're the first esteemed guests on. The all new chassis miked up at first. How are you. how's training. How things yeah. Thank you at the beginning of being here. I feel honored to be the first guest. No thank you i'm goods. We are training today in the morning. So now i'm home Fear few very good. Thank you get to hear. We spoke a couple of weeks ago. Didn't we we sat down with yourself. Antonio ruediger and i said that you guys are automatic. Chelsea legends having already won the champions league We talk about that in a second. But i want to take you back to a year or so ago so that that first moment when you walked into this club how was how did that come about and talk about the mindset. What made you want to join chelsea in the first place in chad. Chelsea in general has Like the whole world big life credits. Think every almost every Football interesting person knows north dakota nossa players for chelsea the history of the club that they wanna love trophies So i mean when i heard about the interest last summer half yet offit very goods and i was happy that the head interests because from me and primer league was always Like my favorite favorite club. So i was just happy and i think also the first first months for me fed like unreal to play for a club like this us I dunno i was always in germany. When you then you come here you see the stadium. You see all the pictures on the world you see. I don't know the the training ground and stuff like that is just so big and Yeah i didn't. I didn't saw the fans unfortunately but Now think the last two games also with fans were just incredible and you see which follow the cup. I wanna ask you about your favorite memory with chelsea so far. I think there's one goal a lot of fans but peck. I'm not sure if that's your favorite memory. Maybe it's something else. Yeah for sure. I mean the for me. It was the best day in my life so far In my first year to to win the champions league and then skoll this important goal. I mean the meden everything and Half costs when somebody asked me this questions in my first year. Of course after say this Was just like a good ending for the year. I mean started not not so well and then when you when you score this important goal Was just for me and my family was so so amazing. And of course i think also in fifty sixty yes. I will look back to this end. It will always in my mind in mahad to really good. Point is when. Emily eluded to such a big moment. Such a big go into win that trophy..

"I think it's going to be a great addition to the back line so i'm really excited to see it all come together. It may take a little while. Lee said emma. Hayes has the has the long the big picture in mind so she's not going to rush people into the starting eleven so maybe a while before we see it but when we see it and when it gets clicking going to be a problem and thinking of problems lee the bring to our already stacked squad and problems is a good thing process. That very good question. It's one of those proverbial things isn't it with a manager says these impressed conferences about selection dilemmas. Niassa could problems have. It really is water. Midfield he has to choose from. And i think it's a really interesting point on that we spoke about. His attributes is applied but it was how he compliments who. We only have here at chelsea. I just my notes down as we were speaking that. And you look at the options. That thomas to glass in mayfield and say mature college. Georgina mace mount complaint. Deeper rule to shake still that we still go cross balki to call upon. There are plenty of options but sounding against wanna play. He's going to be as close a set before. I think he's going to be a real fanfare. I can't wait to see them in action. Hopefully this weekend. Emily three matches in eight days. How was our lineup. Going to look coming out of this international break. It's gonna look a little different right because we do have race. James serving the suspension. It did seem like conti was nursing an injury that liverpool game. So maybe they give them a bit of arrest. I'm curious to see who takes james spot. Personally i'd love to see callum hudson. They're a little bit more of an attacking. look on. maybe go a bit more defensive. But lee mentioned it like being able to root for chelsea honestly the privilege because you look at all the players that are bench sometimes christian pulisic i attach thima werner Hudson doi. i mean. I can go on and on these are players that would start on. Probably seventy five percent of the teams in european football but just an embarrassing richness for us. We've seen kyw defy the laws of physics trevor cello by stunned the masses and even lukaku proving that he is back now for all three of you. Anyone got any predictions on who is going to be our top score of the season. I'm sorry i'm entering here. There's no other answer. Like who scored more goals in the house about to say emily. This one a trick question you know with all the players capable of just the pure widget wizardry in and around the box having that like lease having that forward center for big center forward there to just move defenders around dragged them around whether it's moving with movement or with his actual body you know we saw that versus you know Arsenal him just put his body on their central defenders of moving to where he wants to like all that kind of stuff just opens up so much space and really. It's going to be beneficial for other other players getting on the scoresheet but also to get himself in position where they can feed him the ball with to make those easy goals like we did against arsenal. So i'm excited. And i think the answer has to be big rob. My uncle uncle lukaku. I think estimate. Isn't it asked be bothell. Wanna tell you what you mentioned..

"Lost season. He is he referred to himself announcement. Said how would you define yourself as a player and he said. I'm a box to box. Midfielder he has a bit of everything you know. He's not shy of throwing himself into a tackle. He defends spice. Hey can attack. He can school goes. He's very skillful have left on as well. he's going to complement. What we have in midfield very nice late in date really looking forward to seeing him. And i think already is going to be a big big fans fiber hair joseph. But something that i've been really really impressed with necas is just how badly he wants to be here to. Have you ever seen a player. Come to a new team and post as much about them on social media against high like it literally was like a post in our reused said that he hired his own media guy to come with him in spain document. That journey of him coming down to the training grounds in london. And i just think that's so cool to see a player who wants to be part of the study who wants to be part of this culture Embracing at foley. You get pliers. Someplace will move from clubs club semi regularly. Sending begets another for several. Been authentic His whole career in fifteen years so this is a big move. He's grown up at club inspired so this is an opportunity that he said he had to take into something. He's really excited about when kappa join the club. Three years ago as his as framed than captain was hades agreed with open arms Kevin post on this time round. Hey came to me. His friends saw was the familiar face to go him around. Show him the dressing room to to introduce him to offices. As reels the premier league is already underway and the women are already often running in the super league as well but ladies and gentlemen international break is now over and the business of the season is just about to start. Let's get to business because we got a lot more to discuss thoroughly about this team and this is the segment. I like to call l. l. london on london because we've heard was going down in london with the news but let's let's get even deeper with the hottest chelsea news first up topic one lukaku officially back. Is he the number nine. We've been waiting for the al's evesham scores damn goals and i just feel like him mason mounts in habits as this trio like just lukaku presence opens up so many opportunities for them. Let's them to get more space below more creative. So yes he's number nine we're working for and he's just gonna make everyone around him so much. Better andrei how can the women defend the title. Ooh now that's a good question. That's a hard question to because it is going to be difficult as lee mentioned. You'll manchester city gus. From new players are better than they were last season. We've talked him by two points in the league. Last season arsenal also got better. They had a down season last season for them. But they're gonna they got they kind of got some new players. They have a new coach We saw them play a little bit differently than we've seen them play already mentioned that they already have been playing competitive matches for a while. So it's going to be a little difficult to do it. But if we do it'll be our third wwl title in a row which is our rages and but you know what i mentioned other teams getting better. Chelsea got better to chelsea. is a lot of superstars already. Was we mentioned with sam. Curran frank kirby pernille harder is incredible. Milly bright magda ericsson is an incredible lauren. James right a new face. We haven't seen yet. I added now in the the the new Defender that they got central defender..
